Nice pool and very close proximity to the beach! Room was very clean and the full size kitchen was a plus.
I stayed at cottage 111 with my family. The setting and views were spectacular, we couldnt be any closer to the beach!The cottage had a very beachy vibe, extremely clean, warm and comfortable for my family.Carl, Celia and all the staff, especially the guys at the beach who helped us with towels and chairs every day, were FANTASTIC! Will definitely head back next season!
This is our “go to” resort for the end of the summer. It’s beautiful, clean, and convenient. It is right in the middle of all the fun. They set up the chairs for the beach, plenty of towels by the pool and great staff to help with everything.
Amazing resort! Every room is like an apartment, you have everything you need: comfortable bedroom, a lot of closet space, full kitchen, couch, TV. Plus, the pool is great and you are from a short walk distance from the beach, where they provide chairs, umbrellas and towels.

We booked the room stating oceanview . Our room wasnt an oceanview I can hear the ocean only . The staff wasnt nice rude. I had to ask for them to make the sofa bed 3 times and even ask for toilet paper since none was even in the bathroom. I will recommend never stay here

2022-03-21Booked a cottage in an Ocean Colony on Airbnb a month and a half ago and out of nowhere received a notification it was canceled by the host. There is a reason I booked so far in advance, Montauk books up quickly! Only comparable place I was able to find at this point was an additional $700! If I had known Ocean Colony wasnt available a month and a half ago I wouldve saved a lot of money & stress!! If I were to cancel on them at this point I wouldve been penalized but they canceled on me and Im still penalized!

2022-06-03Worst accommodation we ever encountered. We booked a room on Hotels.com for two nights with Pay at checkin. Ocean Colony Beach and Tennis Club charged the full amount immediately and Hotels.com poorly trained agents were vouching that it is not a charge but an authorization. The charge was completed the next day and Hotels.com called Ocean Colony Beach and Tennis Club to ask for an explanation, and Ocean Colony Beach and Tennis Club told the Hotels.com agent that they would refund the charge, and we would have to pay again at checkin. Basically, Ocean Colony Beach and Tennis Club is using Hotels.com platform to lure guests in, but they dont want to pay commission to Hotels.com, there is why they want the payment to be made directly to them, but they are still assuring the guests will show up by charging the full stay immediately after booking, making Hotels.com looking like fools for stating that the pay will be made at the hotel and $0 are due when the reservation is made. Thats not all, Hotels.com have no idea what is the amount Ocean Colony Beach and Tennis Club have charged using Hotels.com. Weve called Hotels.com and chatted with their agents several times, asking for a refund and cancellation of this shady reservation at a shady managed place, but Hotels.com agents said that they cannot issue a refund before talking with the Ocean Colony Beach and Tennis Club manager to let them know what is the amount theyve charged. Of course, the manager could not be found the entire day. I would not stay at Ocean Colony Beach and Tennis Club if it was free, and I will refrain from using Hotels.com in the future. Hope this little experience helps someone.

2021-08-24Ive stayed here for two years in a row now and hopefully for many more to come! The location is fantastic, the private beach access is wonderful. Its quiet, family-oriented and the room balconies are such a nice perk. Right down the road from a seafood shack and Goldbergs bagels, and a quick drive to the center of Montauk or popular restaurants/bars. This year, our stay was affected by Hurricane Henri. We had to leave early for safety reasons; Ocean Colony originally wanted to credit us for a future stay, but after speaking with management they were able to give us a full refund for the night. Their excellent customer service is duly noted and I highly recommend choosing here for your Hamptons visit! Thank you Ocean Colony!

2021-10-26This place is just a dump. No a/c in the bedrooms. So it was hot and humid. And I stayed at the end of October! I really don’t feel like going into to much detail. I’m glad work payed for this stay. I will never stay here by choice ever.

2021-08-23Ocean Colony is a fantastic option in Amagansett - the resort is clean and well maintained and right on the beach (literally). The rooms are apartment-like featuring full kitchens and baths - the furniture can be a bit outdated and the furnishings vary based on room (as they are owned by individuals). Housekeeping is fantastic here and always on time. We love staying here - or Windward Shores down the road (both owned by the same management company).

2021-06-01Memorial Day weekend. Overly expensive and just not worth the money. The room had really cheap furniture and a really springy soft full bed, there was no hairdryer in the room, and although they had a filter coffee machine, there was no coffee/tea/sugar available. There is also no refreshments available on site and nothing nearby either.They just seem intent on getting the most money for the least amount of effort... AVOID!!!

2021-09-13The location and facilities were great. The unit however was a different story. Unit 1816. I dont know if unit is privately owned or sponsor owned but needs some TLC. Moldy smell within unit and photos show some of unit .Bathroom updated and kitchen ok and living room ok except for couch.

2019-08-29We have been coming to Ocean Colony for many years and its only gotten better! Everything is updated, the staff is very accommodating, its clean and the staff is hard- working and friendly. After a small glitch, the management went above and beyond to make sure that we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.
