Great values on an eclectic mix of products. The seasonal section is particularly good. We also like trying the varied ethnic foods they sell here.I had a problem with a gazebo that I bought from ocean state last year and spent over 9 months getting the run around from the manufacturer in order to get a replacement fabric part. I finally got frustrated and called the corporate office for Ocean state, and they made things right for me immediately by providing a new replacement.We are very happy with our ongoing experiences with Ocean state job lot and will continue to shop here and evangelize on their behalf.
I was sceptical at first, how can they have such low prices and still have anything of quality? Ive since been buying alot of my pool chemicals and cleaning products here. I needed a shower curtain rod and some towels. I got great items here. I love browsing the food section, things you never knew you wanted, you needed, or even knew existed. Im sold.Cheers

This might or might not be the store for you. However, if you are willing to visit on some kind of regular basis and value an ENORMOUS range and variety of products at reasonable prices, plus a crazy-good coupon/ rewards program then have a look. It is an experience.

The Job lot on Jericho Tpke in Commack is a favorite on mine. I always find things at great prices, from food to area rugs.. Its like a box of chocolates you never know what ur going to get!😁

Always leaving this place with something but cant give it 5 stars for one reason. I wish they would stop is putting merchandise in front of the registers by the wall. You go looking all over the store for things and its hidden there.
So many items in one place, foods, household items, pet supplies, cleaning supplies, brand name cosmetics and care items at reasonable prices. Mostly brand name, decent products. Ive gone back three times in the last two weeks because I found so many great deals. They have deals called crazy deals where you buy an item for list price and they give you a gift card for almost the same amount for the store. I love it! Some items better off buying at the Dollar Tree but for the most part, this is one ofy favorite store.
I had been looking for a circular rug and a matching runner that was nice quality and didnt break the bank, I was so happy to have found it here! Very good quality and many options available.
My favorite store. Helpful staff. Wide variety at excellent prices. Just fun to quietly wander up the aisles and discover what they have. Bought a bathing suit, coffee, sheets, oatmeal, a gorgeous rug for the living room, and nail polish. Fun.

Ocean State Job Lot has a lot of good merchandise, generally, unusual items that cannot easily be located elsewhere, at a fair price. Merchandise moves quickly, it is generally not top shelf, but thats the point, helpful stuff at a good price. I located some external chair covers there, hesitated, but went back a few weeks later to find all were sold. So its seasonal stuff, buy it when you see it, and it will server the purpose.
Everything Discounted and some of the best bargains I have seen like Kohls brand ladies pajama sets, at $15 less! Everyday items from kitchenware/ utensils/ ovenware to Home Decor and beauty supplies. They also offer nice prices on imported Teas, Coffees and snacks.
I always love the deals here... And if there is ever a problem they help you out. Had to just exchange something and lost my receipt... They just looked up my membership number and fixed it with no problems. I think the slogan or mission statement... Whatever you call it is true to form. Great business model and love that they are here on long island. My only complaint is that sometimes I see the same item in dollar tree and its like 25 or 50 cents more there... But its also sometimes the other way around where something is cheaper. I guess thats what sales and marketing is for. Its like that everywhere anyway... Even gas 🤣 whatever...
Bought a mens quilted flannel shirt yesterday (2/5/21). Brought it home and when I looked closely it was frayed at the cuffs and wrinkled (beyond pre-washed). Obviously pre-worn, previously washed, shrunk and used enough for the sleeves to start to fray. Only kept it because it fit well and returning it would be a major inconvenience for a senior. Buyer Beware!

This store fell flat of anything great to buy, its more exciting shopping at the dollar tree than this. Its a big empty space of mis matched items nobody wants. Nothing for kids, I thought I could find Valentines day items, instead at the side back of the store were teddy bears which were over priced. Stick to target even the Christmas tree shop. If it lasts a year Id be surprised

Vast selection of items at discount price
This place was cool, but not as cool as I expected. The deals arent as great. U have to watch. Some things are a great buy, and some are basically what u pay at the supermarket. The selection is pretty good, but I wish there was more variety of products. Plenty of parking
It was my 1st time shopping in joblot and all the things in the store I couldnt believe they had such an abundance of it was such a big store and all the people there that work there were so incredibly helpful and friendly I highly suggest this store and to everyone who shops there to come back as well as I will come back as much as possible !

This store has some really great deals, although, they don’t always have what is advertised. Some of the personnel lack customer service skills are not really helpful and just plain rude. Recently I was delighted to find staff that were so helpful and eager to help me out finding what I was looking for. Special thanks to James and Evan who are a really asset to the store. This type of customer service keeps people coming back!

Great store, they carry a wide selection of items from blow up pools to blackberry preserves. You do have to know your prices not everything is cheaper but they do have good sales.

This place is nice, clean & well stocked. It does not have as much variety of items as Id prefer or as the other Job Lot on Deer Park has but it is worth going to if you need a quick item here & there for home, beauty or small food items.

Great store and some usually incredible values, but you have to be a savvy shopper. Quality isnt always there as they sell things that dont already move or are overstocked at other stores.

Well its only my third time there and I have to say that today was a hora not enough registers the parking lot was a messand then I had to go back and return something the weight on one line to be told that I had to go on another line theres a manager standing right there sees me walking in with a return doesnt say a word to me I understand its the holiday season but they never going to make it at this they need to beef it up a little

2022-06-12Discount chain store! You pretty much get what you pay for. A lot of items for the home: bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, etc at low prices, but low quality products. Some of the products were really poor quality and flimsy. With respect to customer service, the cashier that attended us was very polite and patient. I asked for several price checks 😲 She was cool 😎 about it!

2020-08-22What an incredible, and relatively big store to get pretty much all of your household needs for extremely reliable prices. Went by for the first time this week and I can assure you I will be going back and making this a constant stop for household supplies in a little bit of everything in between. I highly recommend people looking for cleaning supplies, storage, garden supplies, snacks, and household necessities to stop by and see what they have in stock. Oh, they also have pet supplies.

2022-01-15This place is great.. its like a smaller version of Walmart, less crowded too. They have a little bit of everything and prices are really reasonable, you can find many $1 items like nail polish, bags of candy/cookies, superglue even tubes of toothpaste ect.. I buy a lot of my bird feed here. They have a good variety including suet cakes and nuggets, seed cakes and bells.. you name it. Theyve got big 50 pound bags of sunflowers and 10 pound bags of shelled peanuts. They have bags of chipped corn for wildlife or fancy bags of fruit and nut and everything in-between. You can even head to the snack aisle and get bags Hamptons in the shell peanuts really cheap, for the squirrels and bluejays! The only downside is that some products come and go and theres no rhyme or reason when it will be back. I bought a few bags of treats for my dog, she loved them but Ive never see that kind in stock again! So if you see something you like, grab it.. may not be there the next time you stop by! They also have plants out front during the spring and summer, a good variety and pretty reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and even when the line looks long it moves pretty quick because they keep all the registers open when its busy. And a small note, early 2020 when I was looking locally for masks, disinfectant and hand sanitizer, this was one of the only places I could find them consistently. One time I commented to the cashier that my coworkers at my hospital would be thrilled as we were all having to buy these items and bring them in from home because we had nothing in stock on the units. The woman asked me if I wanted more, despite the limit of 1 per person. She loaded me up with 4 or 5 bottles of different cleaners and sanitizers and face shields and told me to tell my coworkers to come there and to just tell the staff that they worked at a hospital and they could buy multiples of whatever they needed too. I was very grateful as were my coworkers!

2021-07-25Great deals, great selection, expect to find a ton of stuff that you didnt know you wanted or needed until you saw it! Ive purchased everything from a cast iron Dutch oven to outdoor furniture, art supplies, soap, candy, shoes and clothing,etc. They also have interesting items you wont see everywhere else like canned stuffed calamari and Red Mill flour from a variety of different grains. The crazy deals really are crazy! Definitely worth the trip and worth joining the insider club.
