Still a go-to name for office supplies, but its a dying breed. This place really needs to get its act together.I just wanted a durable plastic paper protector to carry documents around while traveling. After scouring through 2 full shelves of flimsy folders, I settled on a slightly pricier folder for $7.99.To my further dismay, the cashier rang it up as $8.49 before tax. I mentioned that it was definitely tagged $7-something, but he didnt so much as blink an eye. After paying, I said Im just going to double-check the price tag and he said, Go ahead. Even take a picture. in an unamused tone. So I took a picture, came back, his colleague fixed the charge grudgingly and concluded with ok you saved 50¢, like I was some frugal being that had successfully haggled a tiny discount. Horrific service. I dont care if I was overcharged 10¢, 50¢, $50, it doesnt matter; customers should be charged whats on the price tag. And clearly no note was taken, so the next customer buying this folder will certainly be overcharged too.
We went to this location for my brothers school supply. The upstairs customer service was nice. But when we cam r to downstairs for checkout, the behaved very rudely. First of all, when we entered the store, we thought the store was closed because there was no customer and i have seen long lines on other locations before school. So when we were checking out, there was only one customer behind us. My mother forgot something so she sent me twice upstairs to bring the items. The cashier was getting irritated and laughing on us with another cashier. Then my mom asked the price for a binder and they denied to tell that. Then when we tried to return some item after all customers were gone, they started to laugh on us again and started to eye roll. That was a really bad customer service and that was not our fault that they had only one checkout point while there were three cashier just standing and laughing at us. Also there were like three customer so i did not understand why they were so irritated.
This location takes email order (turns out not every store takes email order). The rep was super helpful. i submitted an email order in the morning for same day pickup. I printed 2 menus on one pdf for a regular paper printout (this was for a bridal shower), totally prepare to cut it myself. The rep made a recommendation when i called her to print on a ivory paper, which i’m so happy the way it turned out. When my friend picked up in the afternoon, it was cropped and beautifully presented. i was so impressed!
I needed a simple 9x12 print done. I came in ordered the print for next day pickup and was told it would be ready. When I came in the next day I had to wait another 20 minutes because one of the employees didn’t print it the prior day. I take the print home and try to put it in a 9x12 frame only to see that the print isn’t the right size or the right colors. I call and explain the situation and I’m told that they will print it and it will be ready tomorrow. I go back the next day and once again, the print is not ready. After waiting again the print they give me is still not 9x12 and there is nothing they can do because they’ve “exhausted all their resources”TL;DRThis place can’t fulfill prints properly or punctually.
Doesnt have washroom for guests even if small toddler really needs to go. Man at till who finally realised I needed attention told me NO and told me to go to particular nearby restaurant. Guess they rather have stressed customers then be nice to them. Its really embarrassing for us to ask too and more humiliating when they say No. I guess all their staff go to that restaurant.Great location and huge place two floors didnt know it existed. Was delighted and Great going-back-to-school sales but not interested in going back.
This Staples store has the best customer service !!!! Today one of the printers ran out of ink while I was printing graduation pictures of the students in my class. Several of the staff came and offered options on how to get the pictures printed. The staff helped me print my pictures in a timely manner.Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Ive been to many Staples stores but the customer service was no where what I experienced today.
This store is a joke.Rip off. Low quality. Poor customer service. Do not tell prices before they do print work. If you do not tell them exactly what you want they sneak in extra charges. They just charged me three dollars to cut a piece of paper in half. If I had a small business print shop near me they would have all my work and my shops work. Seriously. DO NOT USE THIS STORES PRINT SERVICE.This is the third chance I have given them and the last.
The shipping guy here was very helpfull in helping me send out a package last week. They had all the packaging stuff I needed to send an expensive piece of Crystal to the west coast.The guy printed a UPS label just in time as the UPS man arrived.My mom just called and said she got it without any issues. Thanks for the great service.
Used their printing services. If you need something pretty standard, there might be a chance they will not screw it up. It will be cheaper than small print shops fare. But there is high possibility there will be a screw up. I asked to have a booklet bound some time ago, got a spiral that i could wrap around my waist because they didnt have a smaller one that fits. Couldnt they just have told me they didnt have the right size? I went to another local print shop. They laughed when they saw what Staples did. Another printing job was done ok, but it was pretty standard and I filled all the settings checks myself online.
Customer service is not great. I asked someone for help and I’ve been waiting for 15 min at the printer. I think the guy forgot. Then I ask someone else for help and she tells me she can’t move from her location. Can’t you call someone you see me struggling? And now Staples charges a $5 authorization fee which is silly and the printer isn’t working so it prob charged me $15 just from fumbling around 😡
This locations manager ( kevin ) is absolutely rude, and refuse to help me by bringing a pack of batteries down to the register when i wanted to pay after asking him 2 times he said “ im not bringing anything down for you” and walked away! awful costumer service! Can’t believe he is a manager there! very disappointing.
I was offended by the customer service offered by the assistant manager, Anthony, on February 27th. Luckily, my experience was improved when I went downstairs and Madelyn helped me find the right product and check out. If you see the right Staples associate you will accomplish what you set out to do but avoid Anthonys mockery.
If I could give less than one star I would. This review is for the Manager who needs some training in Customer Service. YOUR JOB is to troubleshoot and diffuse situations, make your customers satisfied and solve the issue. Instead of placing the blame on others. HANDLE it. AWFUL, HORRIBLE phone manners, argumentative and (Ghetto) & rude. My advice to upper management invest in better quality Managers
Waited for my cashier to learn how to complete a return all while I watched the cashier next to me explain to some lady that she should put an SD card in her cameras battery compartment and it would work fine. These know barley anything about the products and services they distribute.
Best experience I have ever had in any staples store. I had a terrible experience at the staples on 2nd avenue around 60th street. I just want to thank the store for hiring great workers that get and help with what I need. Isabella helped me earlier today and i thank you for all her cooperation.
I went with the intention of buying a laptop and two tablets plus some peripherals. Arduous task to try a minimum of advice. They reluctantly pointed out what was there. Whoever was treating me would walk away without cooperating and began to talk on the phone. Another employee came and I told him I wanted to buy some equipment. There was no stock. Another, either. Another neither and another neither.I chose to go and leave my money elsewhere. This is simple.

2022-05-28The most seamless printing experience ever. There were three different t ways to print something and everything was smooth. I ended up using the printer that works with your phone. The paper was high quality as was the color. The rest of the store is well stocked and people are helpful.

2022-04-27I had a pretty good experience here but I also only went on here for two items, the lady at the register was very nice. I like that this staples is 2 floors, it has a very nice selection of products from what I’ve seen and is very well organized too. Would definitely come back.

2022-08-23This store is running some kind of equity work program. There is no one on site with any knowledge or interest in the products they sell. The staff is disinterested and its not the first time Ive had a bad experience here. At least the staff is vibrant and diverse.

2022-06-20They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Showed me a sample before printing and he was good in graphic design as well, and helped work my files to fit better. Really happy with the service here.

2022-06-07Marcos at Printing went above and beyond, and I really really mean that, when I was in a pinch - printing business cards, calling after hours, and making detailed observations about the printing quality. He was a model employee and deserves a promotion yesterday.Really impressed with how he represented Staples.

2018-11-06A pretty large, well stocked store. I went in to pick up a very basic office product and was told that they didnt carry it. Another clerk directed me to the appropriate location. When I couldnt find the Staples brand, I was told I dont think they make it. Well-stocked store but totally indifferent clerks.

2022-02-08Courtney at the printing area was unhelpful and rude!! I was there about 40 mins before the close time waiting to get a document that would have taken only a minute to print. I was the only one in line the another customer came over. Courtney took the other customer before me and when I asked to get my doc printed he said he can’t print my doc today because he’s busy and back up with work and was very dismissive to me about it. I will never come here again to do my business!!! No respect for women! That’s not how you treat your customers… I’ve been here a few times and the other guy who works here was very helpful to me. Courtney was NOT!!!!!

2020-08-18I was here this morning for my business card. I thought it’s all set and ready to pick up same day like every time. But unfortunately afternoon I got called from someone to order it again online. Why?? It should be done since I was here in the morning. It’s fine, I’ve been trying whole day to place an order online but something would be wrong with system I could not go though with payment. Waste my time a lot to do it.I did not know what to do. So I decided to come here for help and I don’t think I gonna get it today definitely. Gods!! Jasmine she helped me everything and did it for me in hour. Incredible service. I do love it. Thank you so much Jasmine. You safe me.
