Came here looking for a high back office chair. Only had 2 under 200 that were comfortable. Then found another on sale but no price. Just then a young male employee walked by asking if we needed help. My wife and I both said yes, asking the price of the chair. The employee didnt respond, kept right on walking. WTH? We were both loud enough, if he was hearing impared he should have waited to see if he needed to respond.Next we looked for a pen that was pressurized. Nothing but over priced space pens. No help from anyone. Only employees I saw were under 20 years old. Lazy workers here.

The customer service is outstanding! I stopped in to use the FedEx drop off service. After a week of frustration and a major headache, the store manager Brook, and assistants helped me solve my issue. With a smile. True customer service! I followed their advice, problem solved . Headache gone. Thank you Brook and Staff, excellent!
This store was nothing but amazing when helping my family & I prepare for my grandpas funeral. Everything was last minute with the programs, the poster and cards; but they were so precise and easy to work with. They also offered us discounts with helped with the costs. Thank you!!
Purchased an office chair back in may. Great customer service in helping me with my purchase. Had a problem with the piston lift on the chair in September. Ron quickly located a new one and exchanged it for me. Not only that but he assembled the new one maintaining a can do and cheerful manner throughout. That kind of service cant be matched. If you have an issue see Ron and he will take care of it.

Wanted to post a THANK YOU SO MUCH to the manager at OfficeMax in North Syracuse for being so helpful with my printer situation on Monday. Just became unemployed and monies are tight - had problems with printer stating no ink while trying to print papers for SNAP. Took the cartridges to OfficeMax. The manager instructed me to clean the printer (if you dont use it a lot, the ink clogs). I was almost out of black ink anyway, so was going to spend the $60-plus to replace the cartridges --- but instead she took the cartridges as a return!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!
Great office supply place having products in stock used a lot and often. Curbside pickup was fast and easy. Employee did all the heavy lifting and took time to organize my purchases to avoid damage.
Best store Ive ever stepped in. Service was super helpful, they knew where everything was, prices were good, and the printing/copy department is INCREDIBLE! I did an art project for a Marvel poster, and wanted copies to give to friends, and the copies looked exactly like the original! Super cheap, too! Had a couple foamboard prints, too, for easier hanging. Only complaint is the aux cord I bought a couple days ago is broken, but there are better places to go four aux cords, the office supplies and tech here are great!!!!

If I could give less than one star I would. The online/phone customer service is horrible. We have had an item that has been waiting to be returned for over 2 weeks now. They send a carrier after 5:00, which is past their delivery window of 8-5. They tell you that you will get a call back with pick up info, but never call. The agents taking calls and chats do not understand the issues and give you text book scripted answers. Once this issue is resolved, we will never be ordering from here again.

First time there, was looking for a desk but I had specific drawer needs and am very indecisive. Alex the gm was incredibly helpful and patient with me and offered suggestions to help me out. Friendly service, no complaints!
Lazy people. I needed a simple word document put on a foam board and I had to wait 24 hours. When I went in the store there was not a single person in the store there were two people at the counter just talkin they couldnt take 10 minutes to put this document on a foam board for me. Unreal
1/18/16. I asked to speak with a manager on a price match. She was extremely rude and short. She didnt explain the price match policy to me either. Not helpful and not someone I want to shop with! 🙃 Ill continue my business with staples.
Purchased a $70.00 keyboard all the bells and whistles. Aprox a month goes by the letter q and v quit working so I take it in they beg for phone number and email for rewards but wont use it to find my purchase. Says receipt say 14 days. So folks dont shop here Staples here I come. Spoke to 3 people not one attempted to look for my purchase had credit card and rewards phone number didnt bother looking. Learn from my misstake.
Austin was very helpful helping me decide what I would need to ship a pretty large box. He even carried my purchase out to my car for me. I will definitely recommend this location to anyone who asks.
The general manager was fantastic and he helped us get exactly what we needed, signed us up for the rewards program and helped in every way possible. Definately will be back.

They always want to help. They had a product on sale that I wanted, but they couldnt sell to me so they made me a great offer on a better unit.
I got caught using the copier. I left it on color copy when running some B&W and got charged 0.58 a copy. My error but it still hurt.Generally I like the place and the service at the copy desk is pretty quick

The people are nice but the store is sometimes not fully staffed like they should be and its very hot in the store too.
Fed ex is expensive, coupons dont work for half the stuff in the store. Rewards points are alright though. Staff is hit or miss.

2022-07-01I purchased a HP printer and a Selphy one with the aid of an associate. Very knowledgeable very helpful. I received email that I had rewards coming for $40.50. I forgot about it I Received a reminder on the last day it was expiring. My husband and I went into the store 30 minutes before closing. With the help of friendly sales people I was in and out with things I Wanted Quickly! Pleasantly surprised when I paid it came to three dollars and change! Also, We looked around the store to see whatever else was there that we had been missing! I will definitely be back! Thank you OfficeMax!

2022-05-27Placed an order for paper on 5/17. Order confirmation stated estimated delivery is 5/26. I had to reach out on 5/27 to inquire about the status of my order only to find that the product had been discontinued and the order was still pending. I received 6 marketing emails during that time period and not one email letting me know the product that they said was in stock was discontinued and no longer available.
