Noel & Rob just delivered our new furniture a short time ago. They were very professional and very careful in our home. They were very pleasant to talk to as well. Thank you for a job well done guys!! Also to note, I decided to go with Old Brick for my new furniture choice since they did not hassle me as I was looking at furniture and they had the best selection for my needs and the price was reasonable as well.
We had a great experience purchasing our new kitchen set at Old Brick. Our sales rep, Chelsea, approached us when we first walked in, directed us to the dining sets and then gave us space to look around without hovering over us. I like that. Nothing more annoying than trying to look for something with a sales rep looking over your shoulder the whole time. Chelsea was informative and laid back… not pushy at all. I have shopped at Old Brick for years and willcontinue too but now will ask for Chelsea!!
Was greeting when entering. Unlike other furniture stores the sales man did not pressure us or follow us around but was readily available when I made my choice. I will recommend this Old Brick location to anyone looking for a great selection and pretty fair prices. Fast and friendly service. Having to go to Clifton Park to pick up my recliners is inconvenient since I would only be able to fit one at a time in my van Paying $175 for delivery was a added cost I did not expect
Weve had to go back and forth several times on couches and everyone at Old Brick is always so helpful. We already have gotten multiple pieces and always have a great experience. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful without being pushy. Most recently Sean helped us secure a couch and dining set for our new home and we are so excited!
IF I COULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS I WOULD. Horrible service, horrible product quality, not worth what you spend. Many family members and friends have asked about our experience with old brick and we tell them to go else where and they have had success with raymour and Flannigan or even wayfair. Many were waiting to find out how we did with our bed and after they have seen the hassle we went through sadly we had to advise them not to go to old brick and we feel the need to warn others as well. We have had our adjustable mattress bed since march and since the day we got it none of the functions work. We have called many times all the numbers we were given. Someone even came out and serviced it and said someone would come the week after and fix it and that was back in sept- oct now it’s almost December and still no call ans bed still broke. The company that handles the machine and old brick have been called many times and nothing has been done and no return calls. But even when your product doesn’t work they stress you out with payments. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY , DONT DEAL WITH ALL THE STRESS AND ANXIETY MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM OLD BRICK.
Really great time in here. We walked around a few laps looking for a new sofa. Barbara was WONDERFUL to work with and is a really genuine person to be around. As someone who shopped at other stores previously I won’t go anywhere else now. Great price but better service. (All that really matters is experience).
Old Brick has an incredible selection of furniture. The sales agent who assisted us was excellent. She (Claudette) was quite attentive to our needs and desires, directing us to incredible deals on equally incredible furniture. We are so happy with our purchases and experience, and the follow up customer service matched the quality of our first hand experience to a tee.
My wife and I stopped by Monday morning on my day off, June met is at the door while she was spiffing up the carpet. She followed us to the mattresses, was very polite in asking what we desired and what price range. Her suggestion of using their bed fit software display saved us a lot of time. I always ask a zillion questions, but she didnt seem to mind. We made our purchase and drove away veryhappy with the experience.
Dave was terrific!!!!! We walked in and let him generally what we were looking and what we could afford after he asked. He did all the rest. He didnt try to steer us to the most mattress expensive they sold. He sold us what we could afford and yet still left us feeling like weve purchased the greatest nights of sleep ever. Tim and Dave delivered our new kitchen dining and island chairs/stools that we had ordered 7 months prior. They apologized for the delay in delivery, though it wasn’t their fault! They were professional, courteous, pleasant, and were efficient in setting things up where I requested. The furniture is absolutely beautiful and well worth the wait. We are excited to use them this holiday season when family comes to visit.
Yesterday we bought a mattress and an adjustable base. The sales associate (Barbara) was very helpful. We never felt rushed or pressured to purchase. We were given the opportunity to spend a lot of time going back and forth.They were very informative and spoke from personal experience.
Joe and Dave delivered and set up our dining room set this afternoon and were absolutely terrific! They were on time, swift in their work yet maintained attention to care, and did a fabulous job of answering my questions!! Most of all they had such a positive energy and were so very courteous!! 5+ stars
Mattress set. Cynthia took the time to listen to my needs and following a fun 3 minute “Bed Match” demonstration, suggested a set that would match my profile. Perfect match. The whole customer experience was cordial as well as professional and reasonably priced. This is my second recent purchase from Old Brick and both were pleasant experiences.
Chelsea was very informative, extremely courteous, polite, funny, and as professional as can be. Shes a sofa superhero! The ruler of recliners. The empress of entertainment centers. I was impressed with Old Bricks friendly no pressure helpfulness of their sales person, Janice, who was ultra patient during my decision making.I was very pleased with the large selection of furniture and mattresses available.! We went to old brick in search of a new decking chair. Our representative Brodie was amazing. He was willing to listen and help us find exactly what we were looking for. Tim and Jeff delivered two beautiful couches to our new home over the weekend. We were worried about getting them in the room due to their size but Tim and Jeff got it done!! Old Brick carries Steel Flex furniture. It’s not only very well made but I like the style. It also fits a shorter framed person easily, without the need to have numerous pillows surrounding you. The salesperson, Chelsea, was very helpful and patient with my decision process. I hadn’t purchased from Old Brick before, but would certainly go back again now.
My husband and I had a great experience today at Old Brick. They have a great selection with great prices. To top that - the staff is great, Barbra helped us today. She was absolutely delightful and answered the many questions we had. Thank you for such a great experience!
Had the pleasure of working with Sam finding a recliner after being screwed by Taft.Sam was helpful, attentive, and most importantly honest. Turns out he grew up in the same town I did.Most of the recliners were on order but we ended up finding one and getting it delivered to my doorstep and of this week.Cant thank him enough!
I won’t go into every detail in the showroom that made my experience at Old Brick less than acceptable. What I will say is that because Old Brick has gotten as busy as they currently are, they have contracted a third party delivery company. I was the unfortunate recipient of this delivery company. The entire experience was a nightmare that ended with one of the delivery men screaming in my face. My having to choose between calling the police, or kicking him out of my home and hoping he left at my request- mid delivery is surely not what I thought what paid the delivery fee for!That delivery was May 3rd. The entire delivery was pointless as I was left with a couch that didn’t come with the hardware to hold the arms on, as I write this on May 23rd, I still have a couch without arms. The dresser that was delivered that day was damaged. OldBrick brought a replacement late last week, the replacement is more damaged than the one they were replacing. I have a date later this week to try for a THIRD replacement, in hopes that this one will at the very least be functional .These are only a few of the issues I have had with Old brick . As I wait for the dresser replacement, knowing how every step of my experience with Old Brick, from choosing my furniture, the list of issues there, in the show room is endless. having had issues with my invoice,I’m still waiting for the check for the money they owe me. I should have had it 10-14 days from April 26th. Notes were left on my account to call me so I can come pick up the check when it’s ready. I called last week to find out why I hadn’t gotten that phone call. They cut the check and mailed it to an address that I do not receive Mail at, hence the note to call me. The woman I spoke to in accounting, admittedly missed that note so, along with continuing to wait for the hardware for a couch I’m essentially storing her as it is useless, along with a dresser, that I’m storing for the second time hoping the 3rd attempt to replace it will actually be successful , I’m also waiting for money owed to me.This is a very condensed version of the absolute hell I have been through with Old Brick in an attempt to buy a new Bed, Bedroom set and a couch. I never would have imagined it would or could possibly be so difficult and that I would pay a delivery fee to be screamed at.Obviously, this was the 1st and last time I will ever do business with Old Brick . I will not recommend them to anyone I know!
Quick service. I went in looking for a cheap mattresss for schools and the salesman was able to show me several models. I chose a moderately priced in within my range and he was able to get me in and out very quickly. They do charge a delivery fee, but it was only $49.
Greatly enjoyed our experience at Old Brick. Dave spent a lot of time with us as he assisted us with our selection. Hes very knowledgeable, patient and friendly, its obvious he and genuinely cares about customer service and satisfaction. Will definitely return to Old Brick in the future. Thanks, Dave!
I am a repeat buyer from Old Brick for many reasons. Their easy sales policies dont make me feel pressure. I dont have to negotiate a lower price. They have tons of styles and in stock so Ill get my furntitre in less than a week.Barbara helped me in the Albany store and was super patient with just how many gray couches I sat in and hemmed and hawed about.Anytime I need furniture I will not waste time going anywhere else.
Was a little disappointed when I received my couch, it was wet on one whole side from the warehouse and miscommunication on where my furniture was Albany or Schenectady but otherwise I had a great experience.O and i just tried to put the leaf in my dining room table and it doesn’t line up when you try to tighten the latches and the latch blew right off
I was looking for a TV stand and a lounger. I found both within a few minutes of entering the store and at very competitive prices. It was nice not having a salesperson stalking me throughout the store. I was irked however that the store wouldnt accept my debit card because it was an out of town bank (50 miles?) when Ive used it worldwide over the years.
My husband and I have finally decided to replace our Craigslist couch, making our first adulting furniture purchase. We are “childless millennials with dogs” and we’re looking for a sectional that was comfortable, contemporary, and could stand up to dogs. We visited three local furniture stores, including Old Brick, and were really happy with our experience.We appreciated being given the space to browse, but the customer experience members were all approachable enough where we felt we could freely ask questions if needed and not have to worry about helicoptering. (I’m a 10 year retail veteran myself, so I get it!)The selection at OB is quite lovely and the showroom floor is packed without being cramped; It’s cozy while still feeling open. They have a wide selection to appeal to pretty much anyone without alienating anyone by having any “extreme” styles.We had the opportunity to work with Janice on our browsing day as well as our purchasing day. We were told that everyone works as a team so folks don’t feel pressured to have to work with any one particular person. (We still sought out Janice upon our return, though!)We ended up purchasing a sectional by Decor-Rest, a Canadian based and made brand, who use sustainable and “green” materials in their pieces. While making our fabric selections, we didn’t feel hurried, but felt helped by Janice and her suggestions- she totally “got us”, and even went above and beyond to contact their rep in regards to a specific fabric we were after.It was a big purchase for us, but we didn’t feel pressured to add on any type of warranty or coverage (though we opted to because it really is a good plan) or pressured for in-home delivery (we opted for curbside). It was truly a great experience and we recommend Old Brick (and Janice! Yay!) to anyone!(Now to wait 13-16 weeks for our couch to arrive! Let the countdown begin!!)
Bought one of their “nice” sectionals. Within a year the springs blew out on one of the large pieces. Bought the protection plan and everything altogether for a small sectional couch was close to $3k. Put in a protection plan claim in February last year. Still don’t have my replacement section and no date in site for when it will come. Person on the phone just said well everyone’s waiting for their new couch. Cool I don’t care I already paid unlike those people and I’ve had to live with half a couch for a year despite paying $200-300 for a protection plan. Now if it even ever comes I’ll have an ugly expensive couch that doesn’t even match.
The salesperson who I worked with (his first name was Dave) helped me not only find what I needed, he also called a road service for me when I mentioned that I had locked my keys in the car. I honestly was amazed by how helpful Dave was and what a positive demeanor he had. A great experience.
This is my third order with old brick, always great service when ordering and for delivery! I had Nick and Nick today for my delivery they were here with the window given and were in and out within 20 minutes. They set up my couch with absolutely no cleanup done by me. All in all great service!
This is my favorite Furniture Store, I always buy my Furniture here. Today was my Third purchase, June the sales lady was AWESOME, I needed a new Mattress and platform, she was so helpful, Had me and my Husband do the test to determine what type of Mattress we needed, because I did not have a clue, she was very patient while we test out different ones,asked our price range, and found some nice ones for us, didnt try to upsell. We found a great oneTHANK YOU SO MUCH, MISS JUNE YOU ROCK
Our sales person Dave was very nice and no pressure. I dislike sales situations but was no pressure. Even did not oversell the warranty. We have bought many items from old brick and one person used to push the warranty so hard after 3 no’s I almost left. None of that from Dave. Just information on what it could help w. Also we thought floor model was barn wood color but invoice said vintage black. The cashier and Dave helped us double check had the same model out on the floor. Vintage black.
Frank was very helpful in the process of selecting a mattress that fit both my spouse and I’d comfort needs. The bed match technology was imperative in helping us decide what kind of mattress would suit us both the best. The prices were fair and had lots of options for different price ranges.
Cynthia was very patient and helpful with my furniture inquiries. The space I have to work with is very tough to configure with couches and Cynthia took the time to make recommendations and listen to my concerns. I did not feel rushed or pressured to make a purchase. The Albany location has a great selection of furniture to choose from and all of the staff was friendly and helpful.
We have a new place upstate. Contacted OB summer 2021to arrange for design services. They took weeks to respond and identify someone. When they did, it turned out to be a sales person who just wanted to send me pictures to look at. Pushed harder (actually should have just gone someplace else) and finally got a designer who put together a floor plan but was initially touch and go on communication to us. Best experience was with her in the store. For that she gets an A. From there was downhill. In short, designers recommendations missed the mark on placement of window treatments (we have a lake view and she recommended putting up blinds that would obstruct the view). Had to keep contacting them on the status of delivery (understandably, there were port issues, but an email that just let us know they were on top of it would have been helpful). We waited 20 weeks for delivery and ON THE DAY of the delivery were told that that main bedroom mattress was damaged and that wed have to wait for another one. Other items- dining room chairs ordered did all not fit around the table- explanation given was that they did the math and the chairs should fit -- I wound up sending a video to show them the problem. Bunk bed installation was a nightmare for the delivery team who stated that parts of the bunk were supposed to be pre- assembled but were not so they had to put everything together (think IKEA style assembly). Biggest problem was the bedroom set. Designer showed us a picture of a charcoal gray/bluish set that would go with our decor, and was a prime reason for choosing it. The set turned out the be BLACK, which was stark and extremely unappealing given our light colored decor. Designers response was I think it looks great. No responsibility taken for the fact that the set was a different color than what we ordered based on the pic -- and there was NO warning that there could be variation in coloring.. Now we are back to the drawing board on bedroom furniture. My take-- if you have one or two pieces of furniture you need and they have it, thats one thing, but if you are truly designing a complete home and spending thousands, run... RUN in the opposite direction. I would definitely NOT recommend working with Old Brick.
Chelsea at the Albany location was such a great help! I probably changed my mind 15 times and she sat there and touched it out with us! She also showed us cute photos of her kitties! She was so down to Earth and Im happy we were able to work with her. Even if we see different colors, lol! Thanks a bunch girl!
Just want to look at a couple items I saw on line. Wow, the Albany store is huge. I spent an hour just browsing. I did end up buying the items I went for but I definitely have some other things in mind for the fu.Staff introduces them selves but leave you to browse. Definitely will go back.
We love Old Brick! We recently bout our living room set there and customer service is awesome!! Delivery was seamless and the delivery guys really knew what they were doing. The delivery was on time, also. I’m looking forward to getting my countertop chairs and continuing to do business with you!
There’s no better furniture store in the Capital Region. Our most recent purchases of a new dining room set, and coffee & end tables went perfectly from start to finish. The delivery guys (Rob & Noel) arrived promptly at 830a (was given a window of 830-1030a) & were VERY courteous & professional. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.
Extremely disappointed in their warranty service - would not listen to the issue referring us to the disclosures! Service technician that came to the house was rude and opinionated! I will no longer support their business which is unfortunate as we were prepared to purchase new furniture for the dining room and living room.
In the past I haver always felt their customer service was top notch. It seems with the new ownership the quality of the customer service is not as good. The way they do things now seems a little old school sales tactics. I am in sales my self if I didnt need to exchange to something or be charge a large restocking fee I would have done an exchange. The salesperson didnt remember us 2 wks after spending 6k and lied to me twice when doing the exchange. I am in sales myself and if my wife was not with me I would have called the salesperson out on the lies.
Ordered a couch Feb 7th with delivery expected June 1st - $300 deposit. For 4 months now I have gotten the run-around from Bob, Sal, Dave, and today we have added Marla who I was told was the store manger.They have once again added a month to the eta. When asked for my deposit back they said they can’t because the couch is a special order. Yet, they say I can use that same deposit (they can’t give me) toward a different couch at old brick. Makes no sense. This place is holding my money with know idea of when or if my couch is being produced.They say they rely on their vendor for their info, a vendor that has change production dates multiple times. I am not concerned with their vendor. I am concerned about paying for an item and not receiving it.Old Brick is probably not to blame for the delay. They are responsible however for refusing to refund a deposit despite problems with their vendors that has persisted for months. A pass the buck kind of company. No shame either, none
First of all, I need to give a big a shout out to Madison and Rachel from the Albany office. During this post pandemic time as most people know its been a waiting game to get furniture delivery in a timely manner! These girls went above and beyond to get me what I wanted! Will be happy to post a photo when I receive my sofa sleeper! Ive come to find out that I can always rely on Old brick! THANK YOU, GIRLS!
Buying a mattress at Old brick was a great experience. I answered some questions and was evaluated on the test bed to see what type of mattress I needed. Sales person 428 provided expert professional service.I was replacing queen size items with full size, and I was concerned about being able to get the larger items out of the house as there were some tight turns. It took me half a day to get these items upstairs when I moved into the house. It was an added bonus that Old Brick took the old items away.The delivery guys, Sam and Paul, got the old items out and the new mattress upstairs in about 5 minutes flat, without any issue whatsoever, never brushed against a wall, and made it look easy. They were also very professional. When I order the mattress for the next room I will request that they deliver it.
Finest quality furniture and customer service in the Albany area. Delivery staff are always on time, and move and assemble furniture with skill, care, and patience. From management, to sales, to delivery, and to customer support, you wont find a better company to deal with.
I like Old Brick because the sales team are more like consultants than they are sales people. There is no pressure and you feel able to roam freely about the store. They are also well-staffed and it is very easy to find assistance. I also like the layout of the store, I find it really easy to follow and the store is well organized.
Janice went above and beyond with helping me find a sofa that would fit into my apartment. When she didnt know the answer to my question, she went and found another associate who could. She was helpful without being pushy and because of this positive experience, I would be returning to shop at Old Brick again
The sleep center was great and the sleep analysis machine is a great tool to really help you understand what you need to sleep better. June was very patient, helpful and knowledgeable to guide us the the best purchase for our needs. Definitely recommend Old Brick Furniture’s sleep center for your mattress and bedding needs!
I was greeted by Adela at the door and given directions where to find what I was looking for, after perusing for a bit she asked if I needed any more help.She was very friendly and helpful when making suggestions for what I was looking for. When a table I wanted wasnt in stock for several weeks, she helped me find a good alternative. No pressure to buy or anything, just great and helpful service.
We bought two chairs in the Albany store on Saturday, and picked them up at their warehouse in Clifton Park next day on Sunday. Very convenient pickup location, the guys loaded the chairs nicely into my truck, very helpful. The staff at the store was also very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. Great prices too. A huge plus for us is that they still own a large collection of items made in the USA and not in China, which seems to be harder and harder to find these days, and which makes buying so much more satisfying. We will be visiting again. Highly recommended!
This prompt for a review couldn’t come at a better time!Ordered my living room furniture in April 2021 and was told 24-30 weeks for delivery. Old Brick had no problem taking my deposit and getting my order in and I understood the difficulties with lead times…Fast forward 24-30 weeks… I held up my end of the bargain andddd… I received HALF of my order after I had to proactively call the store and see if the items were in when we reached the estimated delivery window.(This is a growing trend these days, nobody is proactive anymore, just reactive.)Since I received HALF of my order, I’ve called 10-15 times and nobody (not even the store manager) can seem to find the rest of my order due to the “warehouse being in disarray.”Imagine ordering a sandwich and being told “we can’t find your two slices of bread, we’ll get it to you in 6 weeks” and hearing no explanation as to where the rest of your order is?Incompetence at its finest. Terrible customer service.My guess is it probably got put on the floor and sold to someone else or fell off the back of the truck somewhere along the way.Good luck to all of you - I hope you don’t have to go through this with your orders.
When your treated like nobody cares nobody will return your calls and they tell you. your only one of 1000s of customers , and that is a quote . It makes you feel like your problem doesnt matter after you paid cash for everything and even bought the extra warranty. MY money will be better of spent somewhere else where they appreciate their customers
We had excellent service overall with our searching and purchasing process - Frank took good care of us even though they work as a team and anyone could have lent a hand along the way. We were so impressed with Frank that we just made sure to work with him on the process and he was exceptional. Not our first Old Brick purchase and likely wont be our last!
Great experience buying the couch, besides being stalked by our lady it all went smooth and easy.Two weeks later we are sitting on couch and hear a crack. Look under couch the wood has snapped in half.Called when they opened was told we would get a call back from customer care, left our number and name ... 5 hours later, no call. We called the actual customer care number we were given after called back 4 diff times. The woman who answered was so rude, acted annoyed we were calling. Had a feeling she knew who we were by the note she was given to give us a call back. She just never called us back....so we explain the couch, she was super rude and annoyed by all the questions we asked her.All around bad experience with the customer care.Annoying that they dont make things last like they use to.

I purchased a living room set, which included couch, chair, love seat, entertainment center, coffee table and side tables to the total of over $7000.00.The delay of furniture is not the fault of Old Brick, I do wish they had called with updates more often but during COVID was very difficult for everyone. I also do not fault them for the slight pull in the seat of the recliner I ordered in February and didn’t receive until July.The recliner arm is loose and the screws pulled out of base. Service tech comes out 2 weeks after I called which I patiently waited for.I called on the following Monday and I need to wait 2 weeks for someone to pick up the chair to be fixed. Then it will take another 7 days to get it back.That is unacceptable. It’s dangerous and I explained that I had 20 guests coming for Thanksgiving and didn’t want anyone to set on chair could they come sooner. I was told no.Now that is poor customer service.If you sell furniture and something is defective shortly after it’s received then accommodations should be made to go a little above normal CS to satisfy a very patient customer. I will not be going through old brick again and I will definitely tell those in my family and friends.
We were at the Albany store and bought our end tables. After we paid for them we were told that they moved their warehouse to Clifton Park. We ended up having to drive 60 minutes to go pick up and then drive back. That was a real hassle!! I really like the end of tables. They are beautiful, good quality and great price. Just wish you could still buy and pick up at the same store!!
We started at old brick....good base line, checked a less expensive store and a more expensive store. Came back to Old Brick. The first sales person gave us all the pertinent info about my choices. The second sales person verified stock and wrote up the PO. I have dealt with Old Brick in the past, so I feel comfortable and confident in my purchase. The sales staff just reinforced my expectations. Thank you, one and all.
We were extremely happy with the furniture purchase at Old Brick. We recently had difficulty with getting service in a timely manner through our protection plan. We reached out to Old Brick. Next day we got word we are getting a brand new sofa. Excellent furniture plus Excellent customer service.
Ok what are the odds that I have my best experience with Dave in Queensberry NY and I move to Schenectady NY go to another and have my second best experience with Daves dad Dave. Bet you think Im making this up well its TRUE and Old Brick should be proud to have the Dave and Dave team.

We had a table top replaced under warranty (Old Brick was really great to deal with for this warranty issue by the way). Joe and Dave were the delivery crew and they were fantastic too - both very professional, polite, and very quick workers. If I didnt know better I would have assumed Joe and Dave were part owners of Old Brick - they really seemed to care about doing a good job. A+
Tim and Miguel did a great job delivering our furniture. They went the extra mile to make sure everything was situated the way we wanted and answered all of our questions. Even put felt on the bottom to protect surfaces! So friendly and efficient. It was a great experience. Thank you!
Old Brick are awesome. We had a slight issue with a chair and there was absolutely no issue using our warranty to return and change models. New sofa arrived today, swift and hassle free installation. Tim & Jeff were very polite and had the old chair our and new one fitted in 10 minutes. Highly recommend

Joe and Miguel did a fantastic job delivering and setting-up the mattress and frame for our 91 year old Aunt. They were careful not to damage anything in her home during the installation. They also were nice to suggest that she makes sure that she locks the door to the outside, which was near her bed. These two employees are a great asset to your company and should be very much appreciated and compensated. They were very polite. Thanks for a wonderful experience. We would have given them a 10 out of 10, if it were available!!!
Tara and Serena were both extremely helpful with helping me select the right mattress. These 2 women went above and beyond in sharing their knowledge and time. I went back and purchased another mattress and another piece of furniture and will be back again soon for a couple more pieces. I have purchased furniture and mattresses at the Bennington store in the past but I would highly recommend stopping in at the Manchester store to work and shop with either of these ladies.
We have been going to Old Brick for various pieces of furniture for many years. Today we were shopping for a bedroom set and with the help of Sam, our sales representative, we found the perfect set. Sam was extremely helpful in discussing the furniture, the fit for our space, and the factory availability. We went away very happy customers.
I had just come from a different furniture store where the sales clerks just pointed you in the direction and walked away so when I entered the Brick furniture and was greeted and immediately had a sales clerk walked me to where I needed to be and helped me select what I wanted I was very impressed that they were so helpful and their prices in comparison to the other stores were the same so if you want good service for good quality furniture the Old Brick furniture is the place to shop
Terrible experience. Ordered a kitchen dinning set online. Received a call that set was unavailable, chose another set, received a msg on Sunday that it would be ready for pick up Friday at Clifton Park warehouse. Arrived Friday (Christmas Eve) and they only has 2 of 4 chairs. They sent us to Albany to pick up additional chairs (very inconvenient on Xmas Eve). Make it to Albany and its two floor models already assembled we now have to take home on a truck in wet weather. No discount on the floor models and the salesman told me if I wasnt happy to cancel the order... Will never shoo here again..

John and Dave arrived early with my furniture, which was great. They were quick, efficient, polite, clean, accommodating, communicative, kind and professional. They somehow got a big couch carried into my home without bumping a single corner. Really top notch delivery guys! Getting my new furniture made my day great. Buyer Beware! My husband and I feel it was a complete scam and it cost us a mere fortune. We purchased the recommended mattress, adjustable base, mattress pad, sheets, pillows (embarrassed to say the pillows alone were over $200. each) AND extended warranty. The salesman took us through the computer app questionnaire and we then tested a demo mattress based on our answers. All seemed so encouraging that we were certain this was the right purchase for both of us. My husband is a back sleeper and preferred a firm side, me, a side sleeper and require a soft side (due to serious health conditions.) So, it was special ordered based on the quiz results and requests. We waited with anticipation for our new bed to arrive (and to sleep in comfort). What we received was completely opposite of what we were promised! This is the absolute worst mattress I have ever attempted to sleep on! Its like concrete with a thin layer of fabric. The woman in customer service could have cared less. (After all, bedding is NON REFUNDABLE.) She just kept repeating that all mattresses are hard the first 30 days and need to be broken in. Well, we just passed the 30 day mark and I can honestly say there is no change and I doubt that there could be that much change even 10 years from now! She said if I was that unhappy, I should sell it. Really???? After the few grand we spent, not a single solution or apology was offered. Even the motor on the adjustable base did not working properly (it was just replaced because we purchased of the extended warranty). Additionally, my California king size sheets do not stay on the bed so you have to buy the ones they sell! None of which are all cotton. We were told we got what we ordered but what we ordered based on the sales pitch is NOT what we got. We will never purchase from Old Brick again. I prefer to post reviews that are good, but felt this had to be noted.UPDATE: 3/3/22.We have had the adjustable bed frame and mattress set now for 10 months. Since my initial review, Old Brick did give us a $200. credit to go purchase a thick mattress pad -which defeated the purpose of the custom mattress, in my opinion. We bought a memory foam pad -which already needs replacement. The mattress remains to be the hardest, most uncomfortable one I ever slept on.The mattress brand is very vague (listed on receipt as *KINGBED -King 11000 6/6 -green left and red- right) is the main issue it has not softened with use as promised.The base, Innova Sleep Systems, has had to be reprogrammed a couple of times (dont call for service, tech said you have to read the manual, you know)-of course we read the manual but there were still operational issues, so we called for support.Total purchase price for base, mattress, 2 pillows, mattress pad, sheets and warranty was $7,372.DO NOT consider purchasing this custom mattress- there are so many mattresses out there for a fraction of the cost that are 100% more comfortable. We were told that this was the only mattress that would work with the adjustable base correctly. So, still awake at night not only because it is so uncomfortable but also from anxiety about being duped so bad.AG getting a letter on this one.
We just had our furniture delivered from Old Brick and it has been one of the best experiences weve ever had purchasing furniture, from shopping to purchasing to delivery. From the start our salesman was terrific helping us find the furniture we wanted that was in stock so we didnt have to wait forever for something to come in. Then just a 10 day wait for delivery and Nick R. and Nick V. arrive to deliver our furniture with great attitudes, personalities and respect for our purchase and home. They were very professional and efficient. All in all we couldnt be happier and will never buy anywhere else.

We bought a mattress on the Memorial Day sale. We got a great deal on it and were very excited to have it delivered. Nick R/Robert were courteous, clean, easy to talk to and did a great job hauling out the old mattress and delivering the new one. Start to finish took about 10 minutes or less and they were on time! We love our new large sectional that got delivered today from the Albany store! I love Old Brick Furniture! I take my time and research before making a big purchase like this and I always end up going back to OBF. The delivery guys, Joe & Miguel, did a top notch job. My friend had a bed and nightstand delivered and I accepted delivery as she was at work. Nick R. and Nick V. were awesome! They took great care to protect the items from damage. I inspected everything before they left and everything was perfect. They even asked if everything was satisfactory before leaving. Conscientious and professional. The entire shopping, buying and delivery experience was superb!
Miguel and Dave delivered my couch and loveseat yesterday. They were great! In my opinion, they went above and beyond a typical delivery - taking the time to remove a door to properly get the items in the space and placing all the cushions and pillows. By contrast, I had a horrific experience with Taft and am so thankful to Old Brick in general for their amazing customer service.
After waiting over 5 months without a word about a chair we ordered, I finally stopped in to the store where I was informed that it would be at least another 3 months if not more for the new chair. We were offered the floor model but without any discount. Although the chair is in good shape, it was not cleaned prior to delivery and not the brand new chair we ordered. Even the delivery team was shocked that no discount was offered. I feel like we were over a barrel and they were not open to refunding the money. We are used to paying for good merchandise and good service, but this experience left us feeling like we were duped.
Frank, the salesman that helped us, was wonderful to work with. Having just bought a house that is mostly empty, he was very kind in trying to help us get items as quickly as he can, and pointing out what was in stock or could get to us the soonest. Having been to very many furniture stores in the area over the last week, we really appreciated his nice demeanor and the way he actually let us walk around the store and look at items. Definitely a good experience, and we’ll be coming back here for more items in the future.
Old Brick needs to get a different third-party company to handle their furniture protection and coverage plans. Without requesting pictures from me or sending an agent to view my sofa, which is only two years old, this company Old Brick deals with said theres nothing they can do. Bizarrely, however, the agent told me that an accidental tear in the fabric would give me coverage. So I guess if I had torn it accidentally no worries, but if theres a hole due to shoddy workmanship that I cant see due to the way the sofa is constructed (and my lack of knowledge in regard to sofa construction, because thats not my field), then too bad for me! The sofa has been kept covered since Ive owned it, and despite there being chunks of foam beneath the mid cushion, she said unless I could find the hole, theres nothing they could do. I tried to explain to her that the back of the sofa cushions are attached and therefore there could be a hole under there that I cant see because Im not a technician. I told her it stands to reason that if there are foam chunks theres a hole somewhere. No offer was made to send someone out nor was there a request for pictures or anything. This company, Montage, took my money for the protection plan and ran with it. Disreputable to the Nth degree!
Had the best experience with your delivery service today. Jeff and Tim were amazing. They helped me get my couch inside with no questions asked once I told them I needed it close to a door as I was the one moving it into the house alone because my husband has cancer. I can’t thank them enough!!!
Justin and Tim delivered our flex steel sofas today! They were fantastic! They were very careful and thorough, and did a perfect job! They are wonderful employees of a great company! Excellent In store representatives, they were incredibly helpful and were able to answer 100% of our questions quickly. After looking around at over 5 furniture stores, we decided to look at Old Brick Furniture Company. As post college graduates starting our married life, the furniture we received was priced very well for the quality, and delivered on the day they stated. The furniture we purchased met our expectations from what we saw on the show floor, however we bought a sectional and it has a metal bracket that connects each side of the furniture. One of those brackets ripped out of the wood that connects the furniture together, however, with a little bit of drill and handy work (no work that exceeds amateur household tool skills) , I was able to easily reattach each hook on the couch to reconnect the furniture securely. Me and My Fiancé are pleased with our purchase still despite a minor hitch in the set up, and I would go back to Old Brick Furniture any day!
I bought two chairs one a lazy boy recliner.......they had no delivery available for three weeks.....I brought it home.as my Mom needed it. Put in Living room and saw that the back leg was warped all the way up the back. I returned it to the store and was told they would REPAIR IT........a brand new chair?! I said not satisfactory......I was then told that they would refund me 70% of the chair cost as they have to charge me a restocking fee....again unsatisfactory as chair was DEFECTIVE. I left the chair at the store and did not take the other chair that I was going to buy. Called my credit card company and they have reimbursed me for one chair (the one I never took from the store) and I am waiting for them to reimburse me for the $529.99 chair that was DEFECTIVE....called the store and spoke to Customer Service and was told it was credited to my account which it has not been. Brooke stepped in to handle the case and was very unprofessional saying this is how it works here I will update as I continue to fight for my money back. Will update this as progresses.......it has been two months! Called yesterday December 16 talked to my saleperson Kir and was told he would call me back. WAITING...... Go see the Armstrongs at Pownal View Barn. They are professionals! I wish I never stepped foot in this store.
Nick and Cynthia are very helpful.The furniture is excellent and priced very competitively.I understand your sales people are a non commission team and I believe that improves the atmosphere.You seem to focus on a definite range of tastes, not trying to be everything to everybody. For someone whose taste is somewhere within that range, there is a wider selection than the stores that try to cover the whole population.
The delivery and in home service teams were fantastic. They were professional and kind. Our overall experience with red brick was awful. November 2020, only one week short of a year ago, we purchased a new couch that was in stock. When the couch was delivered all 3 powered recliners were broken. One had its power cord sheared off. One had a bad rivet in the frame, one had a bent frame. The frames both got repaired in april, which was great. It was delayed significantly due to supply chain issues which is understandable. Not ideal but acceptable. Sadly the other recliner still hadnt even had a part on order yet. At some point during the summer they finally ordered a motor for the last broken recliner. They attempted to install it in September but were unable due to ordering the incorrect part. Finally they ordered a new piece for the sectional that got delivered today. I understand that there are issues with our supply chain. Sadly the part that was needed to make it right for the customer wasnt ordered until 10 months after the original purchase. That is not an issue with the supplier its an issue with the company placing the order.
The entire experience of purchasing a new sofa and chair was great. Due to the problems related to covid19 we were quoted a delivery of 5 months but the furniture arrived in just 2 months. Drivers Nick R and Nick V delivered the furniture today and were very professional right from the start. They were friendly, caring and careful to not cause any damage trying to get through our narrow doorway. A great job.
I seen a lot but not much in variety, looking for a chase couch we seen on the web site didnt have anything close to it. The up side, the sore was very clean and from what I could tell the sales people were friendly but we were just greeted in passing, nothing else. Had the same problem with the Clifton park location.I dont remember having this problem with the Troy location when it was opened.
Large store packed with a wide variety of furniture from a lot of different brands. We went here at the end of our day long tour of furniture stores and they had the cheapest prices, notable for places that had the same brands too. We ended up putting in an order here. Ill update in six months once the custom table arrives to let everyone know how it went!
Was looking for a new living room set at reasonable cost. I was not impressed with the furniture or the sales team as I was approached by 3 different salesman and felt like I was being pressured to purchase some items. Ended up going to another local furniture store and purchasing our new living room
Bought couch, loveseat and mattress. Bought the floor models - no discount. Delivery in two weeks for a fee of 149. Ok - so all set. Take the day off and no mattress....didnt make the truck. Hmmmm. Had everything ready to go on my end. :( Call and finally get thru after a couple days and reschedule - another day off. Move stuff around so the delivery can take place easy. Waiting for 2nd delivery.... Seems like Im on the short end of this. Mattress delivered but had to call during delivery to have the old mattress taken - did not want to schedule another day for pickup. Delivery personnel were all polite and respectful. Always had no issues in previous purchases.
I used to love old brick. They have good quality furniture and very friendly staff that never badger you. They actually let you look around and not try the hard sell from the moment you walk into the place. I did notice some changes since they moved their location from the Troy store though. I wasn’t greeted by anyone this time around and only after I was clearly standing around looking ridiculous did someone offer to help me. I guess I didn’t look like the big spender type even though I dropped over $200 on a single standard size pillow. The salesman that did help me was very nice, no complaints there.
Tim and Jeff delivered our new bed today. They arrived in the timeframe that I was expecting, and quickly and efficiently assembled the frame. Part of our order had been marked as picked up by us already (which it hadn’t) so he immediately reached out to the store to help us rectify the situation. They were both very friendly and courteous. I have bought all my furniture from old brick since 2000. I have always paid the extra money for a protection plan and have never needed to use it. That all changed when the material was coming apart from all the seams on three cushions. I thought no problem I have the extended warranty and the product is a year old. Then the run around began!! I contacted Old Brick and they advised me that I needed to take it up with the Montage an Insurance Company who represents furniture companies. I contacted Montage 30 days after the claim and seven phone calls from me they responded. They only cover accidentally not manufactured defects???? So you sell garbage and its not covered… but I cut a whole in the couch and its covered. THIS is what I was told!! I will never buy furniture let alone an extended warranty from a company who does not stand behind their product..
Rob and Noel were both efficient, kind, polite and understanding. I wanted to look over the drawers before they put them in and they were both good at showing me all sides. Tim and Jeff did an awesome job setting up our bedroom furniture. They made sure everything was where we wanted it. We are donating our old mattress and they even wrapped it up for us with the protective packaging from our new mattress. I feel they went above and beyond. They were also very aware of Covid protocols. Great team.
Went mattress shopping for the first time as an adult and had such an easy and pleasant experience. Showroom is laid out well and you can take a bed match quiz to help you identify what firmness/support you need. Staff was helpful and attentive but not over the top. Would definitely recommend to anyone for furniture or mattress shopping.

And while some may not agree, we find the prices to be quite acceptable.Its my understanding that the staff works off shared commissions so they arent fighting over each other to get to you nor do they hound you as you shop through their huge warehouse location.We purchased a few items and opted for their white glove delivery service. Both the sales and delivery teams were professional and helpful.Well be back for more!

Shes super friendly, knowledgeable about their products, and passionate about helping you find something that fits your budget, room, and personality. 2022-02-28Sam was the perfect amount of helpful. He gave us enough direction to show us what we were looking for and enough space to discuss our options. We came for a pull out sofa and left with a sofa and a cabinet. Both will be delivered this week which is exciting. Having shopped around, many companies are delivering 3-6 months or more. Very happy with the product, the price and the service and would definitely recommend to friends.

2022-01-28My first trip to Old Brick left me quite impressed. I always assumed it was a small store but I was so wrong.. The selection was top notch, incredible prices, no gimmicks and very helpful salespeople that were not pushy or impatient at all. I found my recliner and was checked out in no time..delivery is expected in a few days.. I will definitely be back for all my furniture purchases!

2021-09-04Our delivery experience with Miguel and Robert was amazing. Showed up exactly on time, worked quickly and carefully and were respectful of our home. Had 16 pieces of furniture delivered and they set up and were out in less than 45 minutes. I hope when the rest arrives its these two gentleman that deliver.

2021-08-05Today I had my bedroom furniture delivered to my home by Tim and Jeff. I have to say these two gentlemen were so personable, courteous and friendly. They put together my platform bed in no time at all and didn’t need the assistance of my son who was here and had offered to help. It was a pleasure to have such qualified and professional guys do the job so efficiently as they did! Thank you Tim and Jeff you two are a real asset to Old Brick !
