Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in other cities:
We were there today around 1pm for lunch with our granddaughter. We drove up from Watertown and she drove from Syracuse to meet us there. None of us have been to this Olive Garden before. The service was amazing and so wasnt the food, saying that, there was dust on the wood divider and also on the black tablet screen thing. Really enjoy our waitress Michelle & her big personality and also the manager that was actually working and not hiding in a corner somewhere, he was very friendly.
Olive Garden receives a lot of flack for calling itself an Italian restaurant. I have been to many Italian restaurants and I think Olive Garden does a very food job, their food is consistent and delicious. My motto is that if you can replicate a dish well at your own house, then its good food. Olive Garden may microwave a lot of their dishes but I really do enjoy the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant.
We came in after shopping around Clay with a party of 5 on Saturday and were promptly greeted and sat by two friendly male hosts, one named Daniel, and one with a cross earring. We were served by Lis, a skilled waitress who handled us with an amazing amount of care and an even better personality. The food was spectacularly delicious, both filling and high quality.10/10.
We were told we were going to have a half hour wait but we were seated in less than 15 minutes. Our waitress, Cherry, was phenomenal. She was friendly, attentive and personable. Our table was playing a game and she joined right in. She interacted with the kids and honestly made the entire experience that much better. The food was good but it was our waitress who earned the restaurant the 5 stars. Thanks Cherry for being awesome!
Very poor customer service from the kitchen manager. She was extremely confrontational and not customer focused on very simple solutions. She spent her time arguing her point instead of just making things right. Very disappointed they would have management of this caliber. On a positive note the waitress was pleasant.
Service was very good from entering to the table service But the food was very disappointing! We had chicken parmasan which was over cooked both times sent the 1st one back burt ends! Eggplant parm was very mushy sauce bitter! The only good thing was bread sticks & salad
We had Mariah as a sever a few days ago, and she was very late to greeting us. We waited over ten minutes for our drinks. Her service was very slow and it did not seem to be very busy. She seemed to have an attitude and was very rude to us from the beginning, next time we come in we will request anyone else.
Food was excellent but the portions are getting smaller. I had steak gorgenzol for 20. Small steak. Waitress must of been new because she didnt offer us cheese on salad, I drink tea and she only offered me green tea (they have a variety in a nice wooden tea box). New sample of Confetti Wine which was very good. I was never offered the chance buy a glass of wine. Also ordered entree to go and waitress forgot about it and had to rering the bill. Overall a good experience.
Our food was good and the service was good also. However I ordered the rigatoni with meat sauce and meatballs and it never comes with enough sauce to cover all of the pasta. I ordered extra sauce and it still wasnt enough, as it came in a small dipping sauce dish ! When I asked for more sauce I was told by my waitress that I needed to pay for it??? Please see the picture I post as evidence of not nearly enough sauce! Otherwise everything else was good!
Finished the salad and bread sticks in time for the piping hot delivery of my Giant chicken parmesan dinner! also ordered the eggplant parmesan, the eggplant was a bit soggy but otherwise it was delicious. Thank you to our Wonderful server for all the amazing check backs! Great job!
I ordered Chicken Marsala and expected a chicken breast. What I got was some kind of formed chicken that was thin and didnt taste like fresh chicken breast or like chicken at all and the texture was strange. The sauce was peppery and not impressive. The alfredo sauce was ok. My husband got Shrimp scampi there was little sauce on it. We were both disappointed with the food also the bread was hard on both ends like it was yesterdays. We wont be getting their food again.
After showing homes for sale in Baldwinsville and Liverpool all day my first time home buyers wanted to treat me to olive garden in Clay. Although I am not usually a fan of chain resteraunts the unlimited salad and breadsticks is the best. The service was great considering the labor shortage and the resteraunt staff was friendly and welcoming.
My girlfriend and I went out to dinner Wednesday night to have thier endless pasta dishes. Right from the start we had a 7 to 8 min wait for a table which wasnt bothersome at all, it was when it took another 7 to 8 mins to get drinks after being seated was when we were a bit annoyed. But what was wierd was we got our drinks from a different waitress. We were told they were busy tonight and we replied its ok to our 2nd waitress. No worries right??Once we were given our drinks and breadsticks we orded our dinners with the original waitress. Upon waiting for the pasta bowls, we ate our breadsticks and got our soup n salad. Then the 2nd waitress brought out our entrees noticed we were low on breadsticks and said she would bring us some more. My girlfriend said the sauce was light and asked for some more. So the 2nd waitress said she was sorry and that she would be back with more. Well lets just say we waited all night and never got it. Then what was interesting was the 1st waitress brought out our breadsticksAlso later on when our 1st waitress came to us and asked if we would like more drinks and food we said yes, but my girlfriend decided to change up her dish seeing as her first one wasnt that appealing.. so she order a meatsauce and meatballs for her 2nd round.. well when the order came out surpriseinly it was handed to us by our 2nd waitress.. and she still never brought out any extra sauce for the 1st order we asked for.Now here is the kicker, not only did we not get our extra sauce but what was served to us was the same dishes we ordered the first time around!!! And the 2nd order of my girlfriends dish had a lot more sauce than her 1st!!Also no plates were removed from our table!!! So when we were done with our 1st plates we had to move them to the side and we were on a tiny table to begin with!! (Picture included)It was at this point we were beyond annoyed. We told the waitress that we order a different dish and she was again sorry and told us we could just take that plate home with us and she would then get the 2nd dish my woman ordered to us..well it was another 10 to 15 mins before we said enough was enough, we didnt even wait for the server to come around again, we used the portable terminal to pay, and decided we should go home. Now upon walking out to the door the hostesses saw us leaving and was curious what happened, well I told them they need to figure out whats going on as I passed them, they were confused so I turned around and explained to them the situation. My woman did not wait and did not want to deal with anyone. They asked if I wanted to speak to the manager, I said what would that do? Change my experience? No.. would that make me happy? No.. I told them we paid and were not waiting any longer..Its nights like this that nobody should have to endure, I personally felt wierd eating my dinner and watching my girl look at me upset and frustrated. Well were not gonna sit through it because thats not right for anyone.
Good food, friendly service. We came as a large group of 19, with 9 kids. Understandably, we waited a bit to be seated. The food was very good. I enjoyed the seafood Alfredo, though the pieces of shrimp were too small. The salads and breadsticks were impressive, fresh and tasty. We requested separate checks among five different families and our servers handled it flawlessly. Nice spot.
Food was decent, no wait time. Not many options for food. There was so many employees sitting around doing nothing. Even the host was sitting off to the side playing on his phone when we walked in. A group of employees were sitting by the bar area talking badly about coworkers, another group was strolling around then sitting at a table in an empty area talking about their love life. There was so many extra people, yet the bathrooms were trashed! I didnt even feel comfortable using the bathroom so I went over to the mall instead. Also, they dont do anything for birthdays. They used to give you a small desert. Not anymore.
My family and I visited the Clay, New York restaurant for an eight person dinner recently and I feel the need to comment and rate the experience. It should be said that I normally do not rate unless it is bad. When the service that I came to expect is as it should be, I kindly thank the staff and pay accordingly. When they(the establishment) fails to maintain their basic obligation to deliver satisfaction for the high dollar offerings, it should not surprise that the compelling opportunity to voice is warranted. My Uncle was(he has since passed away God bless him), an Executive Chef for many years. One thing he always maintained, if something is not good with the food, you should tell the staff or Manager on duty. He would say, if you dont, they will keep serving it like that. All I am going to say is, the food quality and cleanliness of the establishment needs dire attention. It has run down and is no longer an option for our family outings.Disappointed in Cicero, NY
I love Olive Garden this particular restaurant was not quite up to par. Food was not hot, pasta was not cooked properly and for the first time the salad was wilted and not up to par. I was personally disappointed in the experience. My previous experiences at other restaurants have always been consistently very good.Needs work.
Lunch was delicious. I havent been there in a while because of the high calorie but always a favorite. I had chicken parm for lunch came with all you can eat salad and my friend had the Alfredo. Both were delicious I left none. Everyone was as friendly as usual including our server who was just very genuine and helpful.
Our server was one of the best servers I have ever had at Olive Garden. If Destiny is working and you are seated in her section you will get 5 star service from this awesome server. She was very polite and very friendly, right on with all of the service and ever had to wait for refills. Over all an outstanding experience!
Olive garden, consistent and somehow dull in my opinion. To make myself clear I dont have any complaints here, its just an overplayed song on the radio to me. Im happy to eat here I know what I want and I cant say Ive ever had a bad dish, in fact Im always pretty satisfied. My most recent visit I belive my host was Steve, he has single handedly renewed my excitement to eat at olive garden. Above and beyond customer service, I really hope olive garden rewards thier employees like Steve. I couldnt do the job he dose, Id probobly beat someone with the cheese grater.
First visit here a few years ago wasnt great, so I wanted to try again. This visit was awesome. Our waitress was so attentive and kind, the food was wonderful and the atmosphere was great. Wishing Olive garden never shortened their menu because my favorite dish is gone, but it was great none the less. Thanks guys!
Very very displeasedSo sad that this Italian restaurant used too be decent and actually worth the money its become no better then a horrible barely a grade below fast food . The salad was so watered down and the lettuce so wilted the only good thing left in the salad is the fresh cheese they grate on top. The dinner was so mediocre that I could have made a better more authentic Italian meal. Its pretty bad when the only good food left in the place is the bread sticks. Theres gotta be a whole load of frozen meals and one nasty microwave in that kitchen. Your eating companion is the hoard of nasty flys that follow you around and touch everything and anything the only thing left thats good about this place is the decent customer service, maybe
Trying to get help with about a gift card they sent me. It was stolen from me and they cant give me information about even sending it to me . The person who stole it said they received it . I have a COURT CASE for HARASSMENT for asking the person to give it back. I Cant prove it got it with out their help. TOLD AUDI (MANAGER) LAGHED, HUNG UP
I always enjoy olive garden however I am disappointed on the billing system .I am not from the new Millennium and I should be able to get a paper bill delivered to me . I think that there should be a choice I understand the new generation like it but I feel that any place that uses those systems dont give a hoot about the other people dining there.
The waitress ,bread sticks and salad are the only good things in this place . This has got to be some of the worst food in CNY. Calamari horrible, pasta taste like a fake potatoe mix, chicken is it even chicken!! Lasagna gross. I forgot to mention the flies !!! It was like we were eating outside. Im not sure if their all like this but save your money and go somewhere else
Went there for lunch and I just cant get enough of the souppa Toscana! This time I went crazy and ordered Cheese ravioli, which I have never had, delicious! The lunch plate was plenty large enough! The only reason I didnt give 5 stars.. We were seated right next to a station for the wait staff and every few minutes I had to move so they could reach in and grab items... Other than that, bellisimo!! ☺️
Granted, the olive garden isnt an actual Italian restaurant, but I must say I was very satisfied with my meal.I decided on the chicken and shrimp carbonara, and was very happy with the choice. My wife had the same, with no appraisers plus a picture of sangria. We left with to boxes nearly half our meals, and needing a nap.Good job!
My mom and I dined at the Olive Garden on Rte 31 the waitress so the best, the food was hot and very delicious. She told us all about the specials it was nice to eating in a beautiful atmosphere.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The prices were ok also. Thanks for the great service, we will be back.
This location was difficult to get a group of 18 to be seated. Miscommunication between general manager and manger of this location but ended up working out in the end. The manager called a waitress named sherry i believe was her name to come in on her day off to help make sure we got what we wanted at our tables. She was very nice and humorous. She did a great job
The food was good and the service was attentive. We were lucky to have our party of six seated in less than ten minutes. Everyone enjoyed their meals and a couple of people in our party took advantage of the buy one, take one entree home deal. It was a good choice for a relaxing family dinner. Thank you!
Food was made on time and curbside pickup was awesome. No complaints about the food because everything was perfect. Customer Service was great and our outside waitress wore a mask. It was our 18th Wedding Anniversary and 20 years ago I was proposed to by from my husband in an Italian restaurant which meant so much us. Way to go Olive Garden!
For a Thursday, Olive Garden was pretty busy. There was a small wait (15 minutes) but as soon as we were seated, the attention did not stop. The waitress was able to space out each course so that you did not feel like you were waiting a long time for food. Despite the busyness, the food was still on point and the waitress was still checking in regularly. Very satisfied with our visit.
Friendly service. My favorites are the Pasta Fagioli soup and lasagna. Zeppoles with raspberry sauce are a great way to end with a dessert to share. The reason for 4 stars is because the recipe for their eggplant parmigiana changed and now the eggplant is not peeled first before cooking , the breading has little flavor and the portions are small. I no longer order it.
Our server was nice, but overall my experience was good (not great.) When my partner and I ordered drinks, the drink he wanted they were out of, which is fine- it happens. I was just a bit disappointed with my drink as the ratio was way off on the drink, so I didnt finish it. The food and breadsticks were great though, no complaints here. The only thing that really bothered me was the lighting, as I had a light from the ceiling blasting into my eyes the whole time, which was pretty unpleasant.
Quick service, friendly waiters, nice ambience and great food for good prices. Its a really nice place for American Italian food. Theres a huge range of appetisers, main courses and desserts. You can also take home a meal for $5. The best part of this place though are the unlimited bread sticks. Cant get enough of them!
Been awhile since I patronized an Olive Garden, and well...salad was good, freshly made...artichoke dip was standard issue like most restaurants, i.e. good but nothing special, main course was the Tour of Italy, chicken parm flavorful, fettuccine alfredo a little too al dente for my tastes and lasagna was an over spiced mush,honestly...we were a party of 7,4 of whom were children all under 8 and they placed a table of elderly people near us,much to their understandable chagrin despite the restaurant being fairly empty...waitress was efficient if not particularly friendly...its Olive Garden, for sure
What’s not to love!!!!! The menu is fabulous. Never had a bad meal. Sauces are excellent and the salad and bread sticks are reallyGood. The best dessert (they are all good) is the Zepolli. They serve it warm with a sprinkling of powdered sugar and selection of raspberry and chocolate fudge sauces for dipping. The atmosphere is great- clean and attractive. And staff is very friendly.
The food was great but the attitude of the waitress completely ruined the experience. The receipt said her name was Kris, an older woman with red hair. She was rude, made several comments that were uncalled for, ignored our table multiple times and provided just overall hostile service. The three of us who were at the table have all worked in the food service industry for years as servers and management so we understand how things can get in the restaurant but it was a Tuesday at 2pm, it was not busy and everything that was wrong with the experience was because of the servers attitude. Definitely ruined my afternoon.
We had a very enjoyable experience at this location! The moment we walked in exceptional customer service. Every person we encountered was wonderful. I’m 37 weeks pregnant and they were very accommodating with everything from seating us, being very attentive servicing us, and wishing us luck and holding the door for us as we left! Our server, I believe her name was Yana, was excellent! We haven’t had that kind of service in a long time, she’s a wonderful asset to this location. We will be back again :)
This is my favorite date spot. They always have incredibly fast seating and service, even when they are very busy! All of the food here is amazing to say the least (I especially recommend the house salad) and all of the wait staff are friendly and attentive.I highly recommend this place for any occasion, but especially for a date night. The atmosphere, food, and kind staff make for a wonderful experience.
Support local restaurants, especially now when they are struggling, and stop eating at chains like this. The parking lot of this place shouldnt be full every time I drive by it. Thats a real eyesore. To be clear, I have never eaten at this establishment. This review is solely a review of the painful sight of seeing its parking lot full every day.
Ive been here many many times. The food is good as is the service.Lemon cake on the dessert menu was never ever available though which I found strange but no big deal it has kid of become a joke with my family and friends now. It gets busy and they do good business so they are doing it right I guess. I could go for some OG now as a matter of fact!
Food hasnt been very good the past few times. Had a family dinner a little while back and had mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. 3 of the 7 were still partially frozen so we let our waitress know. The manager brought us 3 new mozzarella sticks fully cooked. Kept the appetizer on the bill and never received an apology from management. Waitress was kind.
EDIT:Went back today to give them another try, service was great (Heather) and manager was very kind. Food was fantastic. Thank you!!Original:Waitress was too concerned with making herself look good than admitting she made a mistake and forgot to put in my appetizer order. After I asked her if she put the app order in (I looked at our order on the tablet on the table and the appetizer was not listed) she said I put it in, let me see whats taking so long. When she walked away, the appetizer showed up on the tablet, and it ended up coming out with our meals, cold. The chicken parm lacked flavor, and the salad barely had any veggies, and was mainly chunks of colorless iceberg type lettuce. Ive been coming here for 10+ years, and this was one of the worst experiences I had, especially for a new years Eve meal with my parents. Not to mention, the folks sitting behind us clearly were all sick - with their young child coughing and hacking right behind us.
I have not been to Olive Garden for at least a few years. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal. Pasta e Fagioli had lots of beans and some beef and was very tasty after some pepper added. Chicken Picatta very tasty. My wife had chicken and shrimp with pasta dish; she said it was OK. The prices have certainly gone up since I was last there, but food is much better. Service very good.
A great, large and clean Olive Garden. Great deals in the specials section of the menu and always new offers and meals to try . Service is prompt and Checkout is usually very quick and accurate. There is usually a wait to be seated but its because food is so good and people like to stay and enjoy. Staff is always friendly and courteous. You will usually be well served. Ive eaten at this location since it opened and have never had a single bad experience. All in all a great chain of restaurants and this is no exception.
Disappointed in quantity of food. Both my daughter and I got the chicken and gnocchi soup and salad for our meals. It used to be a thick, cream soup with plenty of chicken and gnocchi. Now its a watered down milk broth with 3 pieces of chicken and 2 gnocchi. This being our entree certainly didnt fill our bellies. So, we just kept ordering a new bowl without consuming all the broth. My mom got a scallop and pasta dish. The picture on the menu depicts large sea scallops. When the entree arrived, it had small bay scallops. Now, they were fine and tasty, but why deceive the customer? It was a disappointing meal. Dont think well return any time soon.
We were blessed to have Michelle R. as our server last night. She was friendly and full of energy. Thinking she just started her shift....she said Ive been here since 10 You would never guess she had been serving customers over 7 hrs. Great customer service! This is why we love Olive Garden.
Food was great as usual, however they sat us next to an shelf where the wait staff stored the wine glasses. Every time they grabbed they took glasses or put glasses back, the glasses clanged together and startled my mother in law. Very bad design. In that huge restaurant you would think they would find a better place to store the glasses, not next to customers face.
Been there numerous times no problem. Went tonight no wait, numerous open tables. Got sat at 5:45, 6:05 no service yet, pushed call server button. Watched waitress go to tables seated all around even had time to here her complain about how bad management had gotten with recent changes there. 6:15 went to front desk for manager. They didnt know I was seated at that table. Same girl that seated me 30 minutes ago. Scrambled to get me and my son service. Then they forgot my sons meatballs. Bad, bad, bad
Located as a stand alone restaurant across from the Great Northern Mall, this Olive Garden has maintained fine service, friendly host and wait staff, the bar area and service were great, and the rotating as well as classic menu items were delicious. While I may not make it to Olive Garden often, I had a great time and was not disappointed.
Our server Sarah (hopefully spelled correctly) was definitely attentive from the moment she came to the table. She was not intrusive but refreshing she deserves a raise for setting the customer service bar high. Food was delicious from the appetizers to the main course. Definitely will return here
We had a nice meal and the waitress was really helpful and friendly. My issue can AFTER the dinner- I do not expect to go back to my car and have an employee sitting in the parking lot smoking weed at 3 in the afternoon!!! I got a mouthful of it and now the inside of our car reeks🤬 It’s gross especially if she’s on break and is going back in to work
I have 1 complaint then only good things to say. My complaint is I dont want to be treated like family, I expect to be treated better than that.Ok so as far as staff goes, I think the management team does a great job keeping the staff up to par and treating customers better than family (thank goodness). The food is always well prepared and always leaves me wanting more. We cant have a meal without Bread Sticks and the Alfredo and Marinara Sauce. For me I always stick with the Tour of Italy, it just has all the best.Keep up the great job.
I love Olive Garden but I was very unhappy today! I’m trying to do my part during this pandemic but I will not order to go again from here. I asked for extra Alfredo sauce for my sea food Alfredo because it always tends to be dry. I asked twice if there was an extra charge and twice I was told no extra charge. On my way home I looked at my receipt and I was charged 3.99 for a little container that was only half full! Not happy!!
Poor service no other people in restaurant. Below average food in my opinion. A group of 6 people dining together. Long wait for our drinks. Soup and salads arrive at almost the same time as our dinners. You get my drift. I wont be going back to this place. It use to be a nice place.
My service was excellent. We walked in and got seated right away. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Our food came out in a timely manner, was cooked to perfection and tasted great. I was offered a free sample of wine with dinner. The atmosphere was nice. I recommend this place as a great date night place for dinner. Great job guys!!!
Pretty sure we got food positioning. We ate there last night and ever since our stomachs have been acting up. Food was meh and our apps were frozen. They did however take it off our bill which was nice. Stuffed mushrooms tasted overly fishy I couldnt eat them. Not sure if wed go back...
Just came here for dinner after finding out we had a loss in the family. We had a blonde waitress I am unsure of what her name was that was extremely rude. We asked for ONE refill of our pasta dishes and she goes “by the time it comes out you guys will be done” I said we would be happy to wait for our food. (I am pregnant). After the refill came out we paid the bill tipping 20% she took the book and walked away. While I was speaking to my family she came back over and said “so I just wanted to let you guys know we are on a 35 min wait so whenever ur ready” we had just tipped her and then she spoke to us like that! she was trying to rush us since the second we sat down! I was so upset I went to the host stand and asked to speak to a manager. George said he was sorry and that how we were spoken to was unacceptable and that was it.
I am a sever at this location and I love my job and the team! Michelle is one of our supervisor, well really an all star player. She has our back and will always ask what we need. She makes me feel empower because if we are swamped she will take tables and still give you credit. Not once has she let us down. Im proud to say she is my keeper and will always say my first priority is service. As long as this superwoman is here so I will be. She is one of the most amazing bosses I have ever had. For all her strength and understanding she makes me the best server I Am today! God bless her. I will always be so grateful to have someone who puts everyone else before her self. Thank you Michelle for being a true soul to look up too you rock!!!!!
Went for lunch today after having orientation for a job. Had a waitress named Rebecca was very good kept coming back and checking on my husband and me will definitely be coming back. The service was excellent. My husband and I didnt have to wait long for our lunch to come to the table. Am happy to come eat lunch or dinner where I will be working
Bread service is always good!Unlimited soup and salad with every entree. They offer free wine samples. No WiFi available.Wait times can be anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour depending on the time of day.Food is served hot and they offer freshly grated cheese for every plate. Servers are friendly and attentive.
Not happy once again!! I use to enjoy going to Olive Garden just for the salad and the lettuce was no good!!! Plus they never gave us are dressing for the salad!! Now this was in Clay NY we live 20 minutes away!! Yes I know I should have looked at it but seeing last time everything was in the bag didnt think to actually look!!
I gave it a second chance. Same. No one approached table had to go to bar and order drinks. Back to table. Still no server. Finally when she arrived. She was so rude . Continued to ignore and was just plain rude. Food was not that great. This restaurant needs addressing on service. Never going back .
Dont usually have a bad experience here, but this time we noticed the quality of the servers has declined. Some just moping around, mine was way to busy to properly take of her customers. The overall attitude of the staff was very off putting. Food was still very good. We will go back. Hope it was just an off day for everybody.
Im thinking our waitress may have been new ,not a great experience.Brought my grandson and daughter last week and loved it our waitress was great .My grandson likes to get the grilled chicken and add the shrimp also off the kid menu today he had the same thing and the price was much higher our waitress told us that we have to pay the adult price for the shrimp to be added on we told her last week we didnt and she walked away. She carried the tray out on her shoulder with the bread sticks in her hair and when she served my daughters soft drink she served it with her fingers along the top of the glass.(Not good).I think she may have heard me mention that to my daughter because she never looked at me and directed any conversation toward my daughter. We told my grandson he will have to find another favorite restaurant.
Staff was great. My boyfriend and I took my grandfather out to lunch for Memorial day. My grampa chose Olive Garden because it had the unlimited soup option. My grandfather is losing most of his hearing and also his sight, and cant walk well anymore since he had an operation on his back. The first booth we were seated in was in a dimly lit and crowded section, so my grandfather couldnt hear us and couldnt read the menu. When I asked the hostess for a different table, we were shown at a somewhat leisurely pace so that my grandfather could keep up to a table right next to a window with lots of overhead light and no one else in the section. My grandfather became a lot less agitated now that he could hear what was going on and could read the menu. Our waitress was fantastic, god bless her soul. She was very patient with my grandfather as he tried to remember what soup he was getting and kept a close-but-not-too-close eye on us to make sure every one had everything they needed. The situation could have been much worse but the staff made it so much better.
On 2/15/20 we went here to talk about my husband father that passed that morning and all that need to be done. The Waitress Was rude. Told us we need to hurry up cuz of the 35 min wait. And said we need to go. We talked to the manager and nothing was done. Not happy with this place.
I just left Olive Garden because I was told that I would have to split my family apart. I have my husband myself and our three daughter who are the ages of 12 years, 5 years and 6 months old. We weren’t told that we would have to split up our family and sit at other tables prior to being told we had to wait 15 minutes outside or in our car. After getting to the tables we noticed that they had tables that had 4 chairs and one that had 6 or 8 chairs. I felt so discriminated against. I’m so appalled by the lack of freedom in this country!
Service was horrible. Took the waitress forever to bring us our food and drinks. At one point she just disappeared. I noticed some of the other tables she was serving were not happy either. Definitely made me not want to come here anymore. No matter how much I love the chicken gnocchi soup and the breadsticks.
Is it me, or have the drinks become more exciting than the menu?? Peach sangria?!?!! Holy moly!! I had more than I should! Started with the calamari, just your standard frozen rings, and the portion seemed a bit small for the price. We shared entrees from the summer menu, not bad, but not great either. Why is everyone so afraid of spice nowadays? If the food was as flavorful as the cocktails, would have to rate another star.
One of the worst restaurant experiences ever. We were forgotten at our table for 15 minutes until one of us got up to hunt down the server. Once orders were placed one of the cocktails didnt come out with the waters and tea, and was asked for with the appetizer and didnt arrive until after the meal. The shift manager had to sign our coupon and just scribbled on it and walked away as we tried to comment on the service. The food was overcooked and getting refills was a chore. The location on Erie is a way better choice.
I always get a perfect meal until tonight. Mushroom ravioli is the dish I always get. Tonight I sent it back , got a second one and sent it back. Didnt order anything else. Just ate salad and breadsticks. Waitress was only ok. Husband had spaghetti which was good. New cook was the excuse. The ravioli usually has a light gray/brown awesome sauce with sliced mushrooms. This came tan colored with no mushrooms. What a disappointment. The cook needs lessons or should be fired.
We ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken and chicken parm. To begin with, our meals were 25 minutes late. She said it just came out and she was sorry. She lied. Both meals were ice cold. The alfredo is crusty, the noodles are rock hard(very overdone) and the chicken is overcooked. Im guessing it sat there a while. Inedible
Not a fan today! We have gone there several times in the past and this time the food was bland and service was very slow. We waited a half hour for waitress to bring wine after we ordered. I ordered chicken marsala stuffed and the stuffing was nasty, old and chewy. No marsala sauce or flavor. I make this better at home . The salad used to be full of toppings, onions tomatos, croutons exc...this salad had two pieces of tomato, few onions and no croutons.....not impressed....all lettuce
We ordered the pasta order and take home. I ordered the chicken parmesan, and Alfredo and noodles, chicken gnocchi soup, fiance ordered the spaghetti and sausage (extra cost), spaghetti and sauce, and zuppa toscano soup. He ate his( yes he can eat all that). He commented to me that the sauce was a little on the lite. side I ate my soup. The soup amount is very little, and mine was cream of chicken, no gnocchi in the whole bowl. I decided tonight to have some chicken parmesan for my dinner ( I didnt get to look at my dinners, the soup sort of set me off) and low and behold, I have EGGPLANT parmesan. No chicken to be seen, 😠. I get the whole order to go, but how is it that chicken and eggplant are messed up? The lady that gave us our food couldnt be nicer, but where is the quality control on the hot line? Dont think I want to order anytime soon and will be hard pressed to go there when all of this is over.
Our server, Charro, was not a people person. She walked away from us several times without addressing our concerns. She was visibly annoyed when we informed her that we wanted separate checks. Her personality legt much to be desired. Another server, cute John, was wonderfully nice and helpful. Food was good.
I had forgotten my glasses and could nit read the menu, so i mentioned a dish that lived there, they no longer carry it on the menu but ine the chefs made it for me. Hats off to the chefs. Sausage mac and peppers ,Still cant remember the name of the dish started with a risxxxxxxx. I should have written it down. Our waitress was amazing.
Let me just start off by saying in the early 2000s when i was a kid this place used to be amazing. I went back for the first time a few weeks ago with my wife. My wife ordered a new menu item that actually looked pretty good on the menu (picture) . When our dinners came out her dish looked rather unappetizing.. her dinner was cold and we were still trying to figure out what actually was in the dish.... when we asked our waitresses to speak with a manager she looked very annoyed which is fine... the manager came over and was the most unprofessional manager ive seen anywhere. This guy acted like he couldnt have cared less and looked offended that the dish was unappetizing and cold. Finally after a solid 45 seconds of him not saying anything and just staring he asked do you want something else and my wife declined and he walked away. Needless to say we paid the bill and left. Anddd will never ever be back.
Its an olive garden! Nothing special or anything that makes itself stand out from the others. I do however will say this tastes better than Vonas AND canales in Oswego.Id really like to give this place 3.5 stars for convenience. Pasta fagioli is good with their breadsticks. Cheese ravioli is good reheated for leftovers. For me personally, I feel like I can make a few of these dishes better and thus cant justify going here often.
Extremely slow service. Outside by front doors near benches littered with about 20 cig butts on the ground. Very dirty. Inside rugs at seating station very dirty needs a vacuum. It worries me with it being so dirty on the outside. What could possible be hidden behind closed doors. If you order the never ending pasta bowls plan on being here 1 and a half hours. If you do want to get a second helping. Food ok. Cant recommend unless you plan on spending the day here. It is 1:37 when we got here. Not very busy. No excuse for the poor service. Seen another couple go looking for their waitress to get the Check.
It was very good food but was expensive and a long wait for a 7 and 9 year old. Unlimited soup and bread sticks is a plus of course. We were on a trip from PA to Canada and it was just a longer stop than we would have wanted. We didnt need to wait to be seated even though the parking lot was full, so dont let that deter you.
Today at Olive Garden my experience was horrific how they are still cooking Italian recipes is a joke. They claim to have Nonas recipes, well Nona must be turning in her grave.I went there today to have an early dinner, and usually it is ok. But today the food along with the horrible service left something to be desired. We ordered minestrone soup and that was at least good, but it doesn’t take much to boil up some pre made frozen soup. Our appetizer was a Lasagna Fritte, when it came out it was black on top without any Marinara sauce. We told the waitress it’s not supposed to look like that, in which she replied “how’s it supposed to look.” It came out a second time and it looked a lot like the first ones but with marinara sauce ( lol ) on top. We showed the picture to the waitress she said she knew what they looked like (with an attitude.) We then called over the Manager with a very bright pink shirt on (to bad it didn’t match his bland personality.)We told him (just to notify, not to get anything) about the appetizer, in which he remarked the second ones weren’t “as bad.” So basically it’s ok to be a little burnt and just edible maybe. It’s at that point where we were afraid to eat anything else and leave. So just know that quality is not the number one priority, just being ok is.
My fiance got the chicken alfredo and I got the chicken parm. The chicken alfredo would have been good without the chicken. Lol... I think the chicken was the Frozen kind you buy at the store pre-made. Not good at all. And the chicken parm wasnt that good either . For the price of everything I guess I was expecting a lot better . The salad and breadsticks was the only good thing

2022-04-14Decided to try the Olive Garden in Clay for our anniversary. Our waitress, Alysha C. went above and beyond the meaning of great service. She was very friendly and gave us excellent suggestions to try. Dinner was absolutely amazing. When it came to desert she made it extra special when she came out with our choices that had Happy Anniversary written in chocolate syrup on the plates!!! Thank you and everyone behind the scene for a top notch experience!!!

2022-07-01Olive Garden was never haute cuisine but you could rely on a decent meal with soup/salad. But I took a dozen family out for dinner ( Bill was $275, not cheap) and food was disgusting! I ordered the chicken parm and what I got looked like a reheated frozen TV dinner. For $19 I would expect more than 2 twirls of pasta. The photo shows what I got after 3 bites of one chicken patty.Thats right what they sent seemed like those frozen chicken patties you got in the school cafeteria. And I didnt even touch the spaghetti. That photo shows exactly what they sent me. For $19 they could afford 25cents worth of pasta with their chicken patties.Without a doubt this was the worst dish claiming to be chicken parm I can ever recall trying to eat. Horrid. They other dinners were slightly better but no one was all that pleased. Only the soup and salad seemed up to par. I would be embarrassed to serve in my home what they brought us, let alone charge $275 for it.Im done with Olive Garden. I wont return.

2021-08-14Typically we Love Olive Garden! The food is fantastic and price reasonable. Nothing makes my mouth water more than chicken gnocchi soup and alfredo pasta. However on this visit we were severely disappointed with our dining experience. It was impossible to enjoy our meal because we were being harassed by sooooo many flies! They were everywhere. On our food, our straws, our silverware, the table, the walls, the chairs. As soon as you would bat one away, two more would swirl around. It was extremely frustrating and not enjoyable. We commented about it to the waitress but she just said yah its annoying isnt it. When I went to use the bathroom there was also no toilet paper. Veryyyy frustrating experience 😑

2022-06-27Our waiter was Nick and I’m not sure I have ever had a better waiter in my life. He was so responsive and efficient. His service was quick and always with a smile and kindness. He apologized for the food “taking so long” when it was quick! If you come here, ask to be in his seating area because he is amazing and made our visit phenomenal!

Its youre typical Olive Garden, but thats being said in a good sense. Our food was very good tonight, hot and came out promptly. Our server Michele was very nice and friendly. Our drinks never went empty and she made sure we had all we needed. We appreciated that! :-)

2022-03-26Loved everything, except we had to call after placing an online order. There is no way to add extra dressing or sauce for the pasta. When I called they were very accommodating. Glad they ended up keeping the Marsala.
