Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in other cities:
Our waitress tonight was THE BEST we’ve ever experienced in any restaurant we’ve been to. She was quick, catered to our every need with a smile on her face and chatted and joked with us and just made it a pleasant experience overall. She earned and deserved the generous tip that was left to her. Her name was Deanna(not sure of the spelling). Because of her, I’m giving 5 stars. If our waitress is seeing this, you’ll know us by the broken water glass(bottom falling out) and the h***y old guy with us lol
Ordered off lunch menu. Selection is limited but price is decent ($7.99-9.99). Lunch includes soup or salad. If you want both you can add for an extra $3.99. Breadsticks are also included. I had the lasagna, which was not my favorite. A little too sour. We also ordered the mushroom ravioli, which tasted like mushroom soup. We also had the shrimp scampi, which was good but the portion was small. I also took one star off since I ordered iced tea but it had a coffee taste to it. Maybe they brewed in the same pot as the coffee. It was gross.
Where should I start? The food was awful! First off, what kind of Italian restaurant doesnt serve Cesar salad? or real garlic bread? That should be your first clue. Ugg the bread was cheap finger buns covered in greasy butter and slathered in salt.. I ordered the soup and salad all you can eat, trying to find something to eat under 1500 calories! The onions in the salad tasted moldy, the iceberg lettuce was wilted and the soup, omg was another gag. My husband ordered the all time favorite Tour of Italy platter, and he said he couldnt taste anything but salt. It is definitely one of the most unhealthy places to eat. If you have a heart condition, I would recommend to stay away. So disappointing, I consider ourselves average healthy eaters. Definitely not the Olive Garden from yester year! All the way home I was so bloated and disgustingly uncomfortable. One thing thankfully, our waitress, was super friendly and very professional.
Ordered the salmon which was served with broccoli. The salmon portion was extremely small and the broccoli was raw. I would have brought this to our servers attention but he never came over until the end of the meal. Speaking of the server, all 5 of us in our party thought he was terrible. Typically a server would ask if we would like another bowl of soup, more salad, refills on drinks etc but our server did not. Overall very disappointed in this Olive Garden and will not be back.
***Post COVID review***We were greeted at the door by the hostess. A minute later we were brought to our table. The restaurant has taken many COVID precautions to include:-staff wears masks-paper, one time use menus-closed off tables creating distance-plexiglass placed on certain areasThe restaurant seemed clean. Our server was friendly. The menu was slightly smaller than it usually is, but the food was good, as always.I made my own pasta with spaghetti, mushroom sauce and chicken. It was delicious. (They didnt have chicken marsala on the menu so this was a great alternative). With your entree, you can pay $5 more and get a second entree to bring home!!
I’ll start by saying Italian food aren’t really my thing but the rest in my party really love it so Olive Garden it is. I got the chicken parmigiana, which was pretty good and the portion was more than enough. Salad and breadsticks were good. Place was really clean and our server was good. No complaints.
Gave me someone elses take out order. Didnt realize it until I was home...25 minutes away. Called them and manager said he would make my order if I would come get it, again, 25 minutes away. He then said he would refund my money. OH THANKS for not making me pay for food I didnt get! So we had no supper and Olive Garden did the bare minimum. This is 2 days later and my PayPal is not registering a refund. NOT impressed
Im really not crazy about olive garden but today was my daughters 20th birthday and thats where she wanted to go the food was good but when I asked for tartar sauce for my to dip my sea food in because the dips that came with it was nasty the waiter said they didnt carry it that sounds crazy to me the waiter was great but how do you serve any type of sea food and dont have tartar sauce wow smh
Had to ask three times for salt and pepper after we ordered and food was brought out we never had anyone come back to our table I had to go up to the counter to ask a 3rd time for some pepper. Ordered the chocolate cake through the computer on the table,it was dropped off and not right. Had to go up to the ladies that seat you counter and ask for the chocolate drizzle to be put on that goes on top. Service was horrible, food was good. Left a tip anyway
Our server was very upbeat and attentive which made our dining experience just that much better. We had salad and bread sticks. The bread sticks were perfectly baked, not too hard as I have had at different Olive Garden restaurants. The lettuce in the salad could have been a bit fresher, but nothing to complain about.
6 host/hostesses at the front counter having conversations amongst themselves. However, not enough staff to have anybody collect the litter strewn about the parking lot/front entrance (plastic Walmart bags, cigarette butts, assorted garbage). Seated in the bar, ice cold breeze blows through with every front door opening.Soup served first, piping hot. Breadsticks kept coming. Main course (steak Gorgonzola Alfredo) was done well. No surprises, and no disappointment. As the fare goes, everything was fine.
Absolutely amazing customer service and simply being a beautiful human being. I’m a nursing mom, we were on our way home and stopped to eat as my 6 month old son just had surgery and we had a long trip. The waitress was amazing, noticed I didn’t have hands to put my food away (which I would have after he was done) however she was kind and dumped it in the to go container for me and talk about how beautiful he was. She made jokes and laughed with us I wish I knew her name to leave a good review for her. She had glasses and black hair with fair skin.
Ive been to many a Olive garden restaurants but there was something about this one, food here tasted so amazing that i ended up enquiring with our server whether they source their vegetables locally. I was told they dont, but I couldnt tell the difference thanks to the amazing flavors. Our family-fav chicken gnocchi soup was hands down the best at this location!
Guest services are really nice here and accommodating. Though you have to be on point on your water, refill for salad or soup , you have to ask them unlike other places they will offer you or ask you all the time or maybe we came here later that night they just ready to go home.
Worst service we have ever had at Olive Garden. Our server spent the entire time we were there either wandering around or sitting with the customers behind us. I understand that covid has affected some establishments, but 4 tables around us were waited on, received there meal, got dessert , paid and left before we received our order. (These were parties of 4) There were only two of us. Never received what we ordered as well. Will probably never go back. There are a number of restaurants around now with better food and service.
The service was good but the food did not meet our expectations. The breadsticks were dry and unseasoned. My fettuccine was dry in some spots like it had been quickly warmed up. His lasagna did not taste good either as the sauce ruined it. We finished our meal with the zeppolis which were basically oversized donuts with no filling. Both sauces complimented the zeppolis but they were so thick you often had extremely brittle bites.
Impressed with the corporate Guest Relations team, as they asked me if I would further explain my 2-star review. After giving them details of my previous visit, they followed-up with the store to address my concerns. They communicated to me what is being done for training regarding the culinary staff, as well as customer service staff, and invited us back to give Olive Garden another try. Such wonderful conflict resolution and customer service - especially as it was completely unexpected!During our second visit, we enjoyed our meals, but our waitress (Madison) was truly who made the experience a complete 180 from our last visit. She was attentive and kind. Communicative and met needs we didnt even ask for (ie. refilling the childrens drinks, removing plates, etc.) Thanks, Madison! Olive Garden is lucky to have you!
The food was amazing our service was not. We ordered drinks that didn’t arrive until we wanted boxes to go.our server was in a rush cut us off every time we spoke. Told us she was going to take the drinks off our bill then left. We waited so long I just payed for the drinks that we never even drank. And then we left never saw our server definitely not impressed.
I was at the watertown ny olive garden today around 11 when they opened. So we went in got seated and than ordered our lunch I got spaghetti 🍝 gf order Alfredo with chicken and grandson ordered chicken tender and spaghetti 5 mins and the waitress comes back said they are out of chicken so got pizza she comes back with salad just sits it on the table walks away. We get the food small amount grandson pizza is hard couldnt eat it so ate grape. We get the bill and its 40.00 she still charged up for hard pizza after we told her it was hard so $5.99 for some grape 17.99 small order of chick Alfredo. And 7.99 small amount of spaghetti and 1 to go..plus the waitress did acted like she even care I left hungry. So I dont think we will be coming back again thanks watertown ny olive garden.
Blonde girl with glasses was very rude. She wasn’t even our server and it seemed like she had an issue with us being there around closing time. She slammed the tablet and chair followed by her rolling her eyes at us. We did nothing to her and we’re very baffled by her. Food was good and OUR waitress was nice
Super clean, very good for a chain, I love the eggplant Parmesan, crispy thick pieces with wonderful breading. The sauce is simple but the most fantastic flavor!! The service is so quick, and the food exceptionally hot, always!! Dinner for two always under $40 with leftovers!! I always recommend to my friends.
Tonight I had the chicken marsala. The sauce was okay but the chicken had the same rubbery consistency of an MRE chicken patty. Imagine biting into a flavorless, thick, hot dog. Service is the same as always, nothing remarkable. Wait time was unusually slow, the restaurant wasnt very packed. Not the usual service thats for sure.
The waitress that we had made for a very pleasant dining experience. She was always checking the table, refilling drinks, making sure we had everything and then some. She even went out of her way to appease the children in very odd ways. The food was good and reasonably priced, but the service from this waitress was amazing. Service like that is why Ill be returning.
We had an excellent waitress today. She was on the ball. Checked on our table several times. Salad and bread sticks brought out right away. Answered our questions about menu with ease. Very professional. Smiling and great personality. Food was good. Last waitress at this little cation was terrible. See she was still working there!
We called ahead about garlic free meals because she is allergic to garlic. We were assured there was a menu for that allergy. When we had to wait only to be told the only thing on their menu without garlic was green salad (with no dressing), that was a joke. Lied to and almost ruined her birthday.
The staff looked VERY overworked and the quality suffered for it. Not a Never go there again experience, more like a Lets wait a year or so until they get it together experience. Again, from what I saw the staff were trying their best, but as a patron, you can tell that somethings off.
I ordered shrimp and chicken carbonara for lunch. With what I thought would be a side of Alfredo sauce for dipping our bread sticks in. Who would put Alfredo sauce in a carbonara sauce … well who ever prepared my lunch did and it was nasty! Seriously disappointed and disgusted. I don’t think I can ever order carbonara from there again without thinking about this. Very disappointed as it was a special day for me.
My friend and I recently had lunch at Olive Garden in Watertown, NY. On Wednesday February 17, 2021. We would like to mention our waitress, Emily F. She was delightful and efficient plus she took the time to help us with using our gift cards to pay for our lunch. We love Olive Garden and people like her make us eager to return.
Been here twice recently after not being here for awhile. Most of the time I am more of a fan of the mom and pop places around. I do have to say that the meals were pretty good and fairly priced on the couple recent trips. They even had a deal where you buy a meal and take one home. Great way to save up a leftover. The staff seemed very friendly and responsive. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Visited twice from May-July 2019.
We were there for a birthday celebration. We had reservations, and still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. The restaurant was very crowded and noisy. It was not an enjoyable experience with all the noise. Our server was was great, he was attentive, personable and funny. The food is the same no matter which Olive Garden you go to, so that was as expected. The service wr received is the main reason I am giving this visit 4 stars instead of 2.
We are singers and worked a little late on a Friday night and missed dinner. By the time we reached the hotel we figured we were out of luck. It was 10:55 pm and the awesome staff here let us come in anyway and made us the finest meal, never rushing us at all, just acted like they were thrilled to have us. awe have always had a good experience here but this one is the best yet. My salmon was perfect and my dining partners shrimp and scallops were also wonderful. Thank you!
So far my best family sit down experience since COVID restrictions began. The staff here has it figured out. When we entered the line there was a hiccup with the phone call to come in which we didnt get waiting in the car, but someone actually came out to the lot looking for us so we wouldnt have to wait all over again.Comfortable environment, small menus means the cook crew can consistently turn out food quickly. Our only wait was for my family to finish eating so we could leave, but we werent at all rushed out. Overall a very smooth and almost normal experience.
Place was surprisingly busy in the early afternoon but we were seated within 10 minutes. My wife enjoyed the wait with a half price glass of wine. Menu was mid-range pricing, but most entrees came with unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks so the value was there. These, along with our appetizers came out fresh, hot, and tasty. Entrees were good as well. Ate way too much. Lol.
There was a bit of a mix up with our reservation, but aside from that, everything was great! We had Joann as our server for the 2nd time in a row and she really does go above and beyond for her tables. Thanks Joann for making our experience wonderful all over again! Keep up the great work!!!!
I love Italian food but the way this is prepped, everything has too much oil. The breadsticks were good. A nice bit of buttery garlic on top. A person, who I presume was a manager, was walking around and asking questions about the food and experience. Very professional environment but the food was not to my fancy.
Usually love Olive Garden. Came to this one for the first time today. There was a hostess outside telling people wait times and putting them on the list if they wanted to wait. I was holding my 4 year old daughter and was completely ignored. I waited there for roughly 5 minutes, standing right in front of the hostess waiting for her to acknowledge me. A family walked up from behind me and she helped them like I didnt exist. I walked away from the situation because my daughter was with me.
Server was just on and he was very nice did a great job and had a sense of humor....however when we entered there was someone smoking near the entrance door (WAS RAINING) BUT THE SMELL FOLLOWED US INSIDE, TABLE WAS DIRTY WHEN WE WERE SETTED( WIPPED OFF SHORTLY AFTERWARDS) AND THREE SETS OF SILV0ERWARE PRIOR TO JUSTIN WASHING A SET FOR US TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE CLEAN.....THEY ALSO WERE OUT IF THE CHOCOLATE LASSANGA FOR DESERT SO WE. SELECTED ANOTHER...THE ON DUTY MANAGER. OFFERED A VERBAL ABOLOGY..
Waitress was great. Lauren was very exceptional. Chairs were ready to break. Was moved to a booth. In full view of bar. The door that was behind bar which went to kitchen was very very dirty. Not good. Wondered if that is how the whole place is cleaned or should I say NOT cleaned. Customers notice these things and theyreflect on the business.
Food was good but our server was quite pushy. She was fine to us but at the end she made my husband to give her a good review on the machine sat on the table even before we paid. We felt pressured to do her a favor although we wanted to pay and leave. This is not the pleasant attitude of people from Watertown, NewYork, that I know of. I hope I will have a better experience next time if I go back again.
We stopped in for a low cost meal and were not disappointed. We ordered the soup, salad and breadsticks combos each and enjoyed all 3 at a very low price. The Salad was mainly lettuce with a few olives and onions and way too many croutons. The soups were tasty and quite enjoyable and well the garlic sticks were as amazing as always. There was a lineup to get in for lunch and we opted to sit at the bar to wait for a bar side table. To our pleasant surprise this location offered half price drinks while you waited at the bar for your table. Our server was friendly but didnt seem very impressed that we only opted for the soup and salad combos each. Our experience was Great value for the money for what we went in for and we would definitely go back for this.
Have been to this Olive Garden for dinner a number of times. The staff have been always very friendly and especially so on my last trip. I do enjoy the food. Its nothing truly amazing but does Olive Garden food well. My particular issue on my last visit was the unclean floor, particularly at the table we were seated at. I understand its busy but I would hope that if there were spills that someone would mop it up before seating someone there.
First off we were seated at a table that was dirty in every sense of the word. The waitress rolled her eyes when we asked for someone to clean it. No attempt was made by our Waitress to upsell drinks via the free samples of Wine that have been customarily offered in every other Olive Garden experience Ive had for the last 15+ yrs as an Olive Garden patron. She also failed to offer refills on unlimited soup, bread sticks, and pasta. She did not bring the chocolate mints provided at the end of every dining experience and tookexcessive time to bring our to go boxes. Thanks Joanna B. For making this a bad choice on our anniversary night.
Today is our wedding anniversary (Halloween), and my lovely husband took me to Olive Garden for an early dinner (appx 3pm). Was seated and served very fast. The wait staff was pleasant and accommodating (Im disabled, with mobility issues). Our time was very satisfying and the food was some of the best weve had at an Olive Garden in years.
Hello. My wife and I ordered food on May 2nd to celebrate our anniversary. We placed our order at 515-520 pm with a pick up at 6pm (allowing 40 mins for prep). After arriving just before 6 it took 10 mins for anyone to stop and ask me for a name. It took another 30 minutes to recieve my order. That is 40 mins from arranged pick up time until when my food was brought out. Total time from order to actually receipt of meals was about 90 mins. This is not the first time as a previous order in Feb resulted in a 45 min wait from the set pick up time. A complaint sent to corporate for that incident has gone unanswered 4 weeks later. Another email about this incident has been sent today but previous actions leave little hope for response to this one. This can not be acceptable to those that operate this resteraunt or those that eat here. Until service can be fixed my family will not return for another meal and I suggest others to avoid them as well.
Servers were super smiley and we did not leave hungry haha. Didnt realise that we also got a choice of soup or salad with our mains so we all left pretty full. Not sure it thats a regular thing as this is the first time Ive visited an Olive Garden. Small but nice choice of mocktails too.
Absolutely love Olive Garden. I had the chicken picante at lunch as well as salad and breadsticks. The lunch was delicious and perfect if you do not want to carb load.Unfortunately, our waitress, when we went to pay on the machine, skipped past the breakdown of the bill and we ended up paying too much for one of the meals (charged the dinner price at lunch). The issue could have completely been avoided had she let us look at the screen before clicking the buttons for us. To fix the issue of charging us an extra $5, we were given a $10 gift card, and while that was a nice gesture, we would have preferred to have just been charged the correct amount initially as we are Canadian and the exchange rates suck and we dont necessarily want to come back to use the gift card.Anyways, good food like always! Just make sure to ask to see the bill before you give them payment
The only reason I give them 2 stars was the service was good. I had lobster raviolis and half of them were like cardboard, hard and tasteless pasta. My wife had shrimp scampi and it was like they dumped the sauce on one side of the plate making for cold pasta, shrimp and asparagus on the other side. Will not go here again.
Olive Garden needs to make their Stuffed Ziti with Alfredo sauce and Sauteed shrimp and scallops a regular menu item. I had this as a meal and it was great. Of course, as of the time of this review it is Limited Time Only and Endless. The waiters and waitresses were kind, courteous, and very professional. Definitely would recommend ordering the pasta dish to anyone going.
Great experience today. They now have tablets at the tables that are available for kids to play for $1.99, this may be an unwanted distraction for some families but for us it was helpful. The food was great and the server checked on us regularly to refill drinks, salad and breadsticks. Our son loved the breadsticks so the waitress put a couple fresh ones in a bag and gave it to us as we were on our way out. Very kind.
I must confess we stopped going to Olive Garden for a while... But they have upped their game! The food is fantastic and we always enjoy our servers. We dont have one in our hometown so look forward to stopping in after doing some shopping away from home! Yes... McDonalds is cheaper, but if you want a great sit down meal... Olive Garden is awesome!
Had a great time tonight. The food was delicious and generous portions. The waitress was attentive, helpful, and just all around one of the best customer service Ive delt with. We will come back. The stuffed mushrooms were great. And the new sausage stuffed ragitoni was amazing.
I went by myself few minutes after it opened. I sat at the bar and wanted to sit at a table because the server kept complaining about being late and needing to do side work. She got annoyed but still let me. I piled the plates I didnt want and was looking at the menu to order take out for afterwards and a drink. She took the plate I was eating from and didnt ask and brought me my check. I had to go get my plate. Then the other server said I had plenty of time, I was there less than 30 mins and it wasnt packed. I figured ordering takeout or a drink would have been too much to ask. Wont return. I went for a nice lunch not to hear someone complain about working and not being able to order take out and a drink. Not one manager came over to ask if everything was alright either. This was my go to place for lunch but not again.
Nowerdays it is hard to find a great place to eat. Never having been at the olive Garden we were a little gun shy. Turns out it was one of the best meals in a long time. The food waste great. The server was attentive and thoughtful. All round perfect. We will be back for sure.
I loved going to Olive Garden, but was very disappointed that they change from steak to pulled beef. It was just horrible. Could not eat it. Why they chose to put some sort of pulled meat that taste horrible instead of just keeping it as it was. I literally go there for one meal...steak gorgonzola. Not pulled meat gorgonzola. Anyway, their food and service has always been great, just dont know if I can continue going. I will miss my favourite meal.
We had to wait outside. They didnt even tell us if they were at maximum capacity or not. We still do not know. The person outside was the same person taking people to their tables while the lines build up and no one knows what is going on or how long. We have a baby and having to stand for 20minutes plus in 90degrees. We didnt even wait.
Wow. This chain is going downhill. I do not know if it is this location or mostly the chain, but the quality of the food is sub-par. I had more grease than anything in the bottom of my spaghetti. The portions were very small but the prices were very large. It just doesnt feel like Olive Garden did when they first started, breadsticks came out with alfredo and pasta sauces, for free, while the menu was not some experimental dishes. Speaking of dishes, my spaghetti had miserable excuses for sausages on it as well. I do not recommend.
Very crowded and noisy...food was good, but portions small...best thing is the unlimited salad and soup. waitresses kept bringing additional chairs to make extra seats at small tables - I ended up unable to get out of my seat without asking other people to move - heard others complain about not being able to get in or out of their tables. the aisles are narrow, there is little room between tables as it is....would not like to be here in an emergency evacuation.
Just went to get get some lunch, my wife asked if we could be seated in a booth, just too be told by the hostess that we would have go get back up front and wait. While we were debating whether to stay or to leave another customer approached us and told us they had the same problem with the hostess and that she was incredibly rude to them as well. At that point we decided to leave, on our way out we informed the manager at the hostess stand of what had just happened, all we got was a sorry that happened, no offer to seat us in a booth and the hostess was just standing there grinning like nothing had just happened, apparently she didnt even grasp how rude and unprofessional she is.
Excellent food and service for a middle of the road chain restaurant in a small border town. It is only when you compare the overall experience you receive in a place like this in the US with Canada, that you realize just how much way further ahead the Americans are....Service and everything else we Canadians can only dream of. We miss this chain over here after it left in the 90s.
The service was subpar but the food is what disappointed me the most. I love this place bc of the high quality meals and ingredients. At this location that is no longer the case. Iv never experienced the chicken fettuccine already taste horrible, watered down and cold until now. When it was brought up to management they did not seem to care and stated it tastes as usual. I hope the next location I go to this is not the case...
I have been doing catering from Olive Garden as my job requires a lot of catering service. I have been pleasantly surprised by the food and the excellent service, so much so that I have ordered from them a few times. The food has been consistently good and they are very friendly!
I always love Olive Garden! The atmosphere is that of elegance, but one where you can dress nice, casual, or really dress up for a nice date night. Prices are high but fair for the food, and you can usually find sales and good deals they have. Service and staff here are very good, too.
Honestly waited over half an hour to get my food to go and five ladies were waiting at the counter talking and had the audacity to ask if I was placing an order or picking up I BLEW UP AND GOT ANGRY said I placed one already and have been waiting over half an hour and then only THEN DID I GET MY FOOD AND SAID IM NOT ORDERING HERE AGAIN (I DO NOT RECOMMEND) young employees didnt deserve the tip I gave honestly screw Olive Garden and I dont care what the owner will say
Not a manager in sight to check in with tables, had to mention multiple times after waiting about 30 minutes for breadsticks and salad. Server walked past our table multiple times and didn’t check in as we were sitting there acting as we needed assistance. Bill was way over priced $52 dollars for 1 meal and two small apps that we all shared and 3 drinks. Will never return to this location.
Was very disappointed with the service and quality of food at this location. The main dish was served before the salad then it went back to the kitchen then the salad came dripping in dressing and five minuets later came the same main meal which was warm but tried out this was replaced by fresh dishes which were fine. Everyone was very concerned about what had happened but it made for a very disappointing visit..
This was the first time I ever been to Olive Garden and I was impressed! The service was fast and super friendly. There should be more coat racks though especially since ‘tis the season. Yummy Italian food! The breadsticks were very salty... pretty disappointing since I really wanted my unlimited breadsticks! I couldn’t even finish one unfortunately.I RECOMMEND THE MOZZARELLA STICKS BECAUSE THEY CHANGED MY LIFE. The dessert is amazing so happy I had enough room for some tiramisu :)
Wobbly chairs, sticky menus, and after a 20 minute wait, our “table” was in the bar. Ummm, no.... Amazingly when I protested an actual table magically opened up. This place truly is the Ponderosa of Italian food. Why two stars instead of one? Our waitress was friendly and made a genuine effort.
It has been three years since I have eaten at Olive garden, we were stationed overseas and I was really looking forward to having my old favorite restaurant again. There was 4 of us, two adults and one child and a baby. The restaurant was busy for 2pm on a Sunday...we were greeted and seated pretty quickly. Our server was young and attentive, her hair was not very professional-a caucasian girl with boxer braids seems more appropriate for the gym. Still she was knowledgeable about the menu and had no issue getting our kids food order in with our drinks so their food came out quick and didnt leave them waiting. As a mother of a gamer 8 year old boy its pretty frustrating when the place has games on the tables tablet flashing but its unclear what is free and whats not. So we just leave it alone until its time to pay. My husband and I ordered the specials...he got the lobster ravioli since he saw the commercial and I got the chicken tortellini al forno. This came with unlimited salad and breadsticks. The kids food came out about the same time as the salad and breadsticks (awesome). The breadsticks were soft and tasted fresh but incredibly over salted. The salad was good but not as good as I remember. It was like they used the bottom of the crouton bag, the salad tasted crumbly...and not mixed properly before being brought to the table. My sons portion of chicken strips, spaghetti and fries was huge and he was very happy. My daughter (1.5yrs) was not really happy with her mac and cheese (also a really large portion)...now when I saw lege portions for the kids lol when our plates finally did come out we have these little plates of pasta we are paying upwards $12-$16 for and my sons plate has way more food—we laughed about it but when his costs $4.99 and our costs that much? My husband isnt hard to please he at all his up quickly...no complaints. My plate of tortellini presented well. It had a nice aroma, but the portion seemed small. Only like 7-8 tortellini and 3-4 pcs of chicken. Now when I order ‘al forno’ I expect it to be covered in cheese alot of it and placed under the broiler until the cheese is bubbly and nice. Real al forno pasta has to sit and cool after you peel the cheesy top off...my cheesy layer was small and didnt cover the pasta or sauce. It looked microwaved not broiled, and sadly my sauce was kind of cold. The taste was like a red vodka sauce made with the lowest possible quality ingredients you could find, then frozen...improperly microwaved and dumped on a plate. A slight foul dairy taste to it. I paid for that and I regretted it. Here’s whats really adorable. I decided I wanted a desert. I asked our server what she suggested...she said the pumpkin cheesecake. I am a avid fan of cheesecake but hate pumpkin flavored things. When i asked about normal plain cheesecake I was told they only have peppermint or strawberry (okay?)...I’ll try strawberry. A few minutes later a nice lady who was not my server brought me a plain piece of cheesecake and said she apologized that the strawberry was seasonal and they didnt have it anymore. Instead of asking if I wanted this plain cheesecake or something else simply walked away. At this point I’ve lost alot of hope for this place, lol. Buttt I have cheesecake! i love cheesecake—man, I wanted to love this cheesecake. Just looking at it the actual slice of cheesecake it appeared to be relieved to finally be out of the freezer. It was sweating or glistening, not a normal trait of cheesecake. It likely hadn’t been covered, you know there is semi-hard gelatinous film that will form on the top of cheesecake like a rough crust when its not covered in the fridge...my fork struggled to get through that top layer leaving indentions. Sad really. I went at it from a new angle, horizontally and just removed that layer and went straight for the center which was surprisingly good! The crust was a little mushy.Moral of the story. Huge let down. Expensive sad experience. Not a manager in sight checking with tables...will not return. Save your $$.
Both food and service was great! However we were seated in the bar area..booth in the far left corner..both high chair and extra dining chair were in the way of my pulling out my own chair..had to rearrange the furniture to sit down..and this area was quite cold which made dining uncomfortable.
Service was great but food was horrible. Alfredo sauce was cold and watery BOTH times it came to the table. Manager didnt charge us for the food but that doesnt make the dining experience any better. I just wasted time being there eating poor quality food. Has happened multiple times now.

2022-03-10The food was definitely not flavoring sauce is watery the chicken parm and eggplant parm tasted like a freezer queen dinner not a bad thing against freezer queen but expected higher quality from a restaurant im giving it a 3 only because the waitress Amanda is absolutely amazing and love the grinding of fresh cheese and soup refills breadsticks are not seasoned its just a bread stick with no sauce ? Overall probably wont be going often unless Im taking out and dont want to be rude as long as Im not spending my money lol

2022-02-20Went here yesterday with my boyfriend for our one-year anniversary and as soon as we walked in we asked the girl if she could sit us somewhere where there wasn’t a lot of people or a more reserved booth and she proceeded to seat us in the first table that she saw and left before we could say something. not long after a big party sat behind us and another one next to us and we basically had to huddle over the table to even hear each other. I feel like a lot of people come here for different reasons/events to celebrate but those who wish to have a quiet private evening should not be disregarded and placed wherever , The back section of the restaurant was completely empty it only had a one party there. The first set of breadsticks were cold and the salsa we ordered was as well, our meals came out fairly quickly and they were very delicious I love it here and we went here for a first date and decided to re-create it by coming again a year later and our evening wasn’t completely ruined but it could’ve definitely been avoided I feel like.

2021-08-22Food was great. Service was slow. Had to ask for silverware and one of my forks was dirty, dried up lettuce stuck to it.

2022-05-01Very friendly staff and quick service. A shout out to our server, Maryanne, who was quick to bring a Club Soda soaked cloth to our table to remove the red sauce stain from my sweater. My granddaughter and I both enjoyed our Eggplant Parm dish with unlimited salad and delicious homemade bread sticks. The price for both meals was very reasonable. Will definitely visit this restaurant again on our next visit to Watertown!

2021-04-09I honestly cant supply a rating above 2 stars. Although the service was okay, our waitstaff switched mid-meal and thats when our service kicked it up a notch. The food however, I can honestly say that I will not be returning. Old an outdated fruit garnishes, food that looked as if it were made the day prior and simply reheated, being the pasta was stuck to the plate and dried out. Salad was okay, soup was tolerable. Breadsticks almost as if they had been sitting for quite some time before our arrival. Only food worth returning for in my opinion is the Italian doughnuts, that they had no choice but to make at the time of order.

2022-03-13Olive garden is always great! Watertown olive garden was clean and staff were friendly and welcoming. Tiffany our server was exceptional. We had a group of 13 and she attentive and professional and personable. Excellent server and very observant to our needs!

2022-05-08We were seated immediately, but we did not receive our food for a good hour. Not great with a five year old with ADHD and high functioning Autism. We even ordered his food first with our appetizer! Our Waitress was phenomenal and could not apologize enough for our wait. Food was ok...Was it worth $90+ tip questionable? This is not an affordable kid friendly place to eat.

2022-07-05It’s mediocre Italian food. If you want Italian food, go to a local Italian restaurant. You get the same feeling. For old people, soup and salad is a go but outside of that, I wasn’t too impressed. The only good thing was the server. Also, the chairs were falling apart

2022-06-18We had lunch today and 3 of us ordered sparkling water. Little did we know that we would get THREE 1 litre bottles of San pellogrino (4.19$ each!) our server ( Christian) could have suggested 1 bottle for the table or if we meant soda water? It seemed crazy to us that he thought we each wanted THAT much water 😅😵💫We couldn’t return 2 bottles because they arrived opened. So if you ever want sparkling water BE SPECIFIC and make sure they bring the bottle closed in case it’s not what you want.We had had lunch near Gettysburg in the week and were only offered soda water.. so we were very disappointed and felt ripped off.
