Ive visited a few times and the food is delicious. The people are friendly and the service is excellent. To top it off the prices are very reasonable.
Great chill vibe… the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Many options for non meat eaters. The wings were really good and the bar selection is very nice as well. Stop by happy hour or not.. you’ll enjoy either time.
The food was amazing. My house burger was perfectly cooked and the herb topping was sharp, savory and delicious without being overwhelming. The fries were in the running for best Ive ever had. They were hot, crisp, and perfectly spiced. My wife was very happy with her winter squash dish. Our waiter was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and prices were very reasonable. $45 for the two of us with an appetizer and my wife had a glass of wine. We dont live in the area but well be back when we have the chance.
The meal was like an explosion of delicious flavors in my mouth.The bar tender made a mixed drink for me that was so yummy. I wish I had written down the ingredients and the name of it.We will most definitely be returning to this restaurant the next two we are in town
Olive Ridleys has some darn good french fries. Tried them out today, and I found out that they have thier own unique spice blend on them that is very tasty! 😋

Super pleasantly surprised at an Indian fusion restaurant nestled in downtown Plattsburgh. Everything we had was fantastic. From the naan with tahini dipping sauce, the extremely juicy and flavorful wings and the fried chicken that was ful flavored and perfectly crispy. The jerk chicken sandwich could have been spicier, still fantastic though.
The menu is great and the food is fresh and flavorful. We enjoyed all of our meals and will definitely return.
Really cool interior and atmosphere. Unique menu choices. Huge craft beer selection. Thai chili boneless wings were awesome! We have eaten here a few times and will definitely be back again!
I will give them this they have a good general manager. But the kitchen manager is not the greatest. If an issue comes up instead of talking to the right people about it he just spews, he listens to rumors over the employee and wont even talk about it.
Great food, great bartenders, great music! Honestly love this place, but if you are going plan on using cash. They put a hold on your account for 3-10 days, which isn’t a big deal if it’s $10-$20 but I recently had a hold on my account from here for over $100. It’s 2019. My Apple Pay goes into my account in 30 seconds, maybe time to switch CC processors?
Only had a couple beers, but nice tap list, and super sassy bar keep! She was great.

Excellent craft beer. Great ahi tuna soft shell tacos. I saw a Blues band at the same place with only a $12 cover. They played 2 sets of music for an hour and a half each! Neat venue.

This restaurant/bar has a very nice environment. Olive Ridleys has always been a great spot for all ages. The evening life is involves a band playing. There is a pool table and a couple dart boards as well. The food is good and the people are great.
Good bar, great staff! Good entertainment most nights with a very fair cover charge. They recently updated their menu and its great, however one time food and service were both poor. Unfortunately, not consistent.
This place is a bit lawless. Theres only one pool table but you can select your own music in the back end of the bar. Drink service was quick but I would recommend going on a weekend since going during the week would be lame here. Also there was a 1.00 cover charge and its typically for older crowds like between 23 and 33.
Olive Ridleys really seems to have it all. While the menu isnt large, the good is amazing. Drinks are fairly priced. They have live entertainment, including an improvisational team (Think Whose Line Is It Anyway) that I highly recommend, both at dinner and after. Whenever my friends and I go out drinking, this is where we spend most of our time.
We stopped here for lunch. I had a burger and my girlfriend had the fish sandwich of sorts. Both were just OK. The beer was also a bit pricey.. The atmosphere was ok though, very bar/sports bar esq. In all honesty despite my 3 star review, chances are Id probably go back.
Not just a bar! Amazing food as well. My Memphis burger was great. Also, my 10 year old brother called the Mac and cheese the best he ever had.

The food is always superb, the bartenders are attentive and personable, the atmosphere is relaxed and can support larger numbers, and business professionals tend to frequent this establishment. It is a perfect location and it is clean. You need to try it out!
We waited over a hour to get our apps. When they arrived they were under cooked. We canceled the rest of our order, paid our bill and left. There is absolutely no excuse for this level service. .
Id have to say from my experience its one of the better places around plattsburgh. I only hope that they keep from tanking on quality like some of the other restaurants around.

Elevated bar food at best, dont let the pictures fool you. Ordered the calamari, should have asked for more calamari with the grease from the fryer. The scallops came with extra sand and grit, didnt have to ask for it, and the Beef Stroganoff, no way it wasnt Hamburger Helper. Oh, not to mention the server never asked how the food was. And if you want to enjoy a quiet meal, bring ear plugs. Hope the college kids enjoy!!! Peace out Plattsburgh!! :)

I took my two small children to dinner (and to see the live music which was great!!) However, the butternut squash ravioli was very disappointing. The menu said it was sautéed in a butter, but it came out swimming in syrup (more syrup than ravioli). I was so hungry after spending the day traveling with a 3yr old and 7month old baby, I ate most of it, but I truly wish I had sent it back and got something more appetizing.🤢

Olive Ridleys is the closest thing in Plattsburgh to a refined Gastro-Pub. Whether it be for a round of drinks or the chefs special on the weekends, time and money is well spent at Ridleys!

My first time there and my first hang over - Im a one drink girl - my drink of choice a margarita- had one last night at Olive Ridleys and am now SUFFERING - that drink must have been extra potent - because in all my years of limiting myself to one drink - I have never ever gotten a hang over. Thanks Ridleys you are my first. I told my son I was suffering from my first hangover - he said Youre like 80, how you never had a hangover before My son is funny - but this feels REAL bad. Thanks Olive Ridley, the first time is always bad. Oh, it wasnt a particularly good Margarita. Salt was meager and taste not particularly pleasureable.
Been wanting to go here, finally did and was glad. The menu was awesome, good delicious, and the waitress fantastic. Will definitely be going back.
Worst place. Bad service. Food was cold. Seen the waitress on her phone in the kitchen. Only good thing was I got more change back than I needed. Sorry but the food sucked and was overpriced.
Great place to go if you want strong drinks and to avoid the typical college crowd. I think of this as the town bar as opposed to the tourist bars that cater to the night club vibe for the out of towners.

One of my favorite places to eat, their wings and nachos are amazing. The wait staff is awesome and their drinks are top notch.
Awesome nachos plate. Reuben sandwich was ok. Fishn Chips had a thick dry crust. Avoid the noodles plates they have too much of a greasy sauce.

2022-05-20As advertised - which is a compliment. Not expected high end cuisine. Was seated immediately and had drinks in hand in less than 5 minutes. Relatively quiet for late Thursday afternoon. Waiter was exceptionally friendly and attentive, even with pulling double duty behind the bar.Pro tip: This place is popular with the college crowd, especially if the Naked Turtle is closed… she get in and out before that crowd starts trickling in or else it’ll get a nosier and the language more colorful (if you have a kiddo with you).

2022-05-04Great bar with a good selection. Most bartenders know their stuff and make it fast. If they dont theyll look it up and make it right if its not too busy. Live music, DJs, karaoke, and other events throughout the week and the food is surprisingly good! Great spot to get a feel for down town Plattsburgh. Will always be a favorite spot of mine.

2022-03-03Despite the fact that they post they are open until 11:00, at 10:10 tonight, I attempted to order drinks for my husband, myself and my friend. The bartender abruptly said “we’re closed”! She was clearly more interested in breaking the room down and getting out of there. They are clearly not worried about their bottom line, their tips or their reputation. Next time I’ll go around the corner for drinks.This disappointed me because my husband and I have been coming here for dinner and some of the entertainment for years.

2019-05-29We got the buffalo chicken flat bread, buffalo chicken mac and cheese and the crab Rangoon dip. All were absolutely delicious. A little disappointed they didnt have crab Mac n cheese like pictures in the reviews but it was still so good. 😍 Well be back!
