2022-06-11I dont know how to fully convey the gratitude and appreciation that I feel for this place. From start to finish, every single person I interacted with was kind, passionate about animals, and hopeful that I would find one to come home with me. I ended up finding a dog who is sweeter than I ever could have imagined. Her heart is gold and she is bringing me joy that I never even expected. Given the positive experience and everything that they supplied to help me start on the right foot as a first time dog owner (longtime cat owner), the price for adoption is extremely reasonable. Whether you find the fur baby you are looking for there or not, I can assure you that it is worth starting your search there. Erica, thank you so much for your consistent support, hospitality, patience with me, love for the animals there, extensive knowledge and kindness in general. You all are amazing, and Im so grateful. This experience could not have come at a better time in my life. Thank you!

2021-12-19I can’t say enough about this place. Best shelter around! The staff are friendly and the shelter is clean and organized. The animals are always happy and well cared for when we visit. Their shelter coordinator Erica is extremely knowledgeable about the animals and gave great advice when we were looking for our new fur baby. You can tell she really cares about the animals. Even though we didn’t find the right fit yet we will definitely keep looking here.

2022-04-19Wouldn’t help whatsoever with a lost kitten in the middle of the winter I was told leave him outside don’t feed, pet or let him inside and he will go away real nice.

2019-08-21What great people and great animals! We got the two newest members of our family there and couldnt be happier. The folks working were so nice and very honest about the animals. The best part is that they are a no kill shelter!

2020-09-29You can tell the people here really care about their job. They are thorough and they make sure your pet is the right fit. Every animal we encountered was well cared for. Their building was clean, organized, and welcoming. We have yet to adopt a furry companion but when we do make our decision, we will either be coming here or to Yates County.

2019-10-09Extremely disappointed that even after filling out the adoption application and donating toys, food and money for the Naples 85, we never even got interviewed about adopting. None of our references got a call. We have had adopted rescue dogs in the past so we know that there can be emotional and physical problems to overcome, but its like these people ignored us.Im giving them 3 stars because they are doing good work in a well kept facility, but they need some improvement in their procedures and with giving the media accurate information. 😐

2016-06-02I have been in contact with this agency about my neighbors who routinely breed pit bulls and sell them. I, along with my neighbor, have both filed complaints many times and nothing has EVER been done. I am not a fan of puppy mills or people that make thousands of dollars in profits who illegally sell puppies then dump the unsold puppies back into the laps of the humane society. So please do not buy puppies from the Nagy residence at 6075 Lawrence Hill Rd in Springwater NY....... Sincerely, David Crew
