Tonight my husband and I picked up our beloved bulldog’s remains. We were absolutely appalled at the inappropriate and cold attitude of the employee who we dealt with. The woman handed the bag containing our precious girl’s ashes to my husband and casually said, “Here you go” and immediately turned around and walked back through the door. She behaved as if she was delivering takeout food to us instead of the remains of our dog. She was fully aware of what she was handing us and showed a complete lack of empathy and respect. It doesn’t take much to offer a few words of comfort. Her lack of basic human decency and compassion was sickening. I sincerely hope that my other dog nor any future dogs I have are never in need of emergency services because we will drive them to a clinic further away just to avoid the callous treatment we received at this hospital.
I gave them 1 star because giving them a 0 rating is not an option. My dogs got in a fight with a porcupine one saturday night around 10:30pm. With this being our first pet emergency I just Googled 24 hour pet hospitals near me and unfortunately this was the closest. We got there and the entire experience was horrible my one dog they took right away because of how severe he was. Awhile later they come out with the bill and of course it was some ridiculous number. If we didnt come up with the money they wouldnt even see my second dog who has porcupine quills all over her face and in her mouth. Also they already half way sedated her. That was strike one for me. Strike two they didnt even address my dogs by name or by gender it was the big dog and the little dog. The overnight vet you can tell he doesnt care about the well being of your pet. He treats them as if they are some wild animal you picked up on the side of the road not part of your family. I strongly suggest if you have a choice taking your furry friend somewhere else where they are in better hands. We will not be taking them back there to get staples removed from my pits shoulder.
Had to bring my cat here @ 2am due to urinary issues. They took us right in and were friendly from the start.I mentioned to them I was limited in finances at the time (just paid for a bunch of procedures/tests for my other pet and had to put him to sleep in the end anyway). They were mindful of my expenses and took it into consideration when doing testing. The doctor was gentle with my cat and resolved the issue for the night but told me I would have to check with my vet in the morning to be safe. It all worked out in the end.
I am giving one star because zero is not an option. The vet service was a disgrace. Our dog needed a small gash to be closed. The vet stated it would take 15 minutes but we would have to wait at least six hours. He put in three small staples which were supposed to last between 7 to 10 days. They were out in 48 hours. The cone they sold us fell apart within 24 hours. We were charged an exorbitant amount of money. Now our dog requires additional services to reclose the cut. I would never bring any animal to this location. I intend to seek redress from them
Very happy with assistance provided by staff. I called to explain that we had a stray cat show up and birth 3 kittens on our back deck. After taking care of the mother and kittens for about a week, 1 kitten started bleeding from the abdomen. A couple hours later the kittens insides began protruding. We assumed this was quite painful and they diagnosed the kitten with a hernia. Being 6 days old surgery was not a viable option and we are still attempting to re-home all of these cats. The staff could see how upset I was and were sincere as I gave up the cat for them to peacefully put down to avoid suffering. There was no cost and we were thankful this kitten did not experience any additional pain or discomfort. Thank you
My 2 year old pit bull woke up the Saturday before Easter and would not eat, this being not like her I took her to get looked at. The doctors treated her wonderfully and diagnosed her blockage and completed her surgery on Easter Sunday evening. She has now recovered wonderfully and is back to her old self. The doctors did an amazing job and most importantly kept me updated every step of the way and called to follow up after the fact. I recommend this facility very highly.
If I could give this place a - 5 stars I would. We brought our 7 year old golden because he had something like a giant boil with blood coming out. And he had a fever, dont know where it came from we took him to this place because thats what the message on his vet answering machine said to do. Wish we never took him there he died about 14 hrs later the thing burst and he bleed out before we could get him back . The vet Dr that was there was great but the one we got not they should of kept him. But now that I see the reviews I see why never again will I recommend this place
My experience was nothing short of horrific. I brought my 3 yr old dog in because he was lethargic and in obvious pain. I was asked multiple times if he could’ve ingested marijuana. I thought it was odd but the way the world is, I assumed it was standard. When the Vet, Katrina Rezunova then suggested that perhaps a friend of my daughter might have “dropped” drugs in the ground, I realized this questioning was serious. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. This awful speculation continued the entire visit. After labs and radiology came back the Vet came back in the exam room and confirmed toxicity with marijuana being the toxin. I was floored. Trying to keep my composure, knowing that losing my mind was not going to help my dog, I demanded a drug test. The girl at the desk told me which one to get and I left for the closest pharmacy. I returned with the test and the Vet and front desk girl administered it. Low and behold, an immediate negative. Still the Vet was questioning the validity test. She was relentless. At that point, I was taking him home. She promised she would take care of him and that she was there all night. I was terrified to bring him home thinking he was in better hands under the eye of a doctor. The next morning, I picked Yogi up with no change in his illness. I brought him straight to my vet who sent me to Flannery immediately. He had a severe case of pancreatitis! He remained at Flannery for 4 days!!! My poor dog suffered the entire time at this “emergency vet”. I checked his itemized statement and xrays. They never treated him for anything. Never gave pain medication. He had a temp of 104. The xrays showed an abnormal amount of gas in his belly. My boy was hunched over and was carried out looking worse than when he got there. Dr Rezunova was so convinced that he had ingested marijuana she didn’t treat him. She accused me and my 15 year old daughter of having illegal drugs in our house. My daughter was in tears. Dr Rezunova was awful and didn’t take care of my dog. It’s a terrible place. If they are going to accuse people of illegal drugs they had better have a way to confirm their “clinical” diagnosis. At one point I ask why they weren’t calling the police. Nobody had an answer to that question. Ive seen numerous reviews of people complaining about similar treatment. Even after she tested him for drugs, she still refused to get passed her initial snap diagnosis. 14 hours my 3 year old pup laid in pain, drooling and with a high fever. I paid them $1600 for nothing and I will be taking them to court! I expect a full refund.
What uncaring racketeers!I brought my dog here in the wee hours of the morning after she ingested a small amount of marijuana.Rather than be truthful with me, they greatly exaggerated the danger that my dog was in and then tried to sell me $750 worth of unnecessary treatment.I declined their offer and took the dog to my regular vet in the morning. My vet, who is decidedly NOT inexpensive, charged me $220 and told me that the dog is fine.If it a matter of life and death, I guess you have no choice but to take you pet here, but in all other circumstances avoid this den of uncaring, heartless thieves!
We had to bring our male kitty here after realizing he was trying to pee in the bathtub(not normal) and was not producing more than a teaspoon. Realizing we could not wait until morning to see a vet we called OCAES. We were told to bring him in right away and that the staff would be advised. Upon our arrival we were brought almost immediately to an exam room.(maybe because we gave them a heads up call?) Katie the vet tech came in within a few minutes to talk to us and do an initial exam on our frightened kitty. She was gentle, kind and examined him without a problem. Dr. John came in soon after and was really great .He also examined kitty, answered all our questions and made sure we had no questions unanswered before leaving the room. The cost was more than our vet would have charged, but we knew that as an emergency visit/hospital that would not be unusual. We feel the cost was not extreme considering the situation.
Place is a nightmare and all the bad reviews are right!!!! All they do is steal money and over charge for doing nothing! Went in because my yorkie ate a chocolate bar and only saw the vet for 3 min. Asked basic questions and did no exam. They wanted to charge me 450$-1200$. They knew induced vomiting only works if done within 2 hours of consumption and at least 5 hours had already passed since my yorkie ate the chocolate, so they were lying and just wanted to charge me the fee to induce vomiting. Since I received little to no service except for a sheet talking about chocolate toxicity I declined the 450$-1200$ service they wanted to provide. Then as I walked out because I wasn’t going to pay the 159$ for 3 min of the vet asking me how my dog was acting different, the vet himself ran out and said he was going to call the state police if I didn’t pay, no shame. I called the vet place in Newburgh and they gave me more information over the phone for free!!
WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.I came in with my 4 month old kitten. Before he was even looked at, they gave me a sheet to sign with all the possible tests that they MIGHT do for him and wanted half paid up front. Fine. I needed to know what was wrong with him and will pay whatever to help him. When we found out that his kidneys were failing from injesting lilies, my boyfriend and I were concerned about our older cat, and wanted to rush home and pick hr up to get tested as well. The vets exact words to me were Can we euthanize this one first then you can go get the other one. I was mortified. I so distraught about having to put my baby boy to sleep, I didnt really want to argue. When my boyfriend came back to brought our older cat, they put him in the same room that we had just out our baby boy to sleep in. Keep in mind that there was NOBODY else in the building. How insensitive can a person be? They ran the necessary tests and the results came back normal. The vet insisted that he let her stay overnight and when he refused, the vet was visibly upset. If we wouldve let our older cat stay, our bill wouldve been over$800. The way that they proceeded was like all they wanted was our money and not care about our beloved pets. I will never reccomend this place to anyone.
I couldn’t be more grateful for this animal hospital. Our dog was bit by a timber rattlesnake about a half hour from this facility. They luckily stock the anti venom that was necessary for his survival. The doctor was super pleasant and thankful to us for rushing our dog here after the bite! They called to update me frequently and were up front about all costs. Yes this was a costly vet bill, but I can’t expect a discounted rate or coupons for such an emergency and 24 hour care. I am grateful for this hospital every single day for keeping our dog alive.
I took my Bella there and I found the care to be acceptable. The Vet was awesome... theTechs seemed less caring , very cold non caring :( ... but the Vet made up for the lack of concerned by them... I did find it expensive and I was given the option to wait for my vet to open on Monday but I hated seeing my Bella in pain. They took a blood test and gave me medicine and I am happy to say she is feeling better ... I would definitely go there again (thou I pray I never have too) ... the wait was all afternoon but so is a regular ER 😩
So I usually dont do this but I wanted to add my almost experience with this vet. This happened on last Friday. I woke up and my little old dog was having problems catching his breath and he could not hold his head up. He was 15 years old and I knew something was wrong. It was about 7am when this happened. He stopped breathing when I picked him up and I rushed him to the car and we raced to this vet office. We got there at 7:50am. I knew at that point my little dog did not make it but I was still hoping there was a chance to save him. I raced to the door and it was locked. I called the number and a very rude receptionist answered and said we are closed vet is gone. I said I had an emergency and my dog stopped breathing. She said there is nothing I can do we are closed you can go to Paramus if you would like. At this point I knew my dog was dead in my arms. This was later confirmed when I did reach a vet that was open. My dog was 15 years old and honestly most likely died before I even got to the so called emergency vet but it still pisses me off they closed early and such a cold demeanor about it to. Not so much as I know we closed early she tried to make me out to be the crazy one. To bad this is the only after hours vet in Middletown cause they should be ashamed of themselves. I lost my dog in my arms and while should have called ahead you try thinking about that when your dog is passing away in front of you. If your hours are til 8am stay open til 8am your a hospital.
Tonight my dog was playing fetch and suddenly started screaming. He couldnt move one of his back legs at all and screamed if anyone touched it. It was snowing. The only place open was Orange County Animal Emergency Service. I called and was greeted by a calm, pleasant voice who told me to bring my dog right in. We arrived and were greeting by Manny the vet tech. Manny was very friendly, calm and efficient. We were seen immediately. Soon after Dr. John examined our dog and quickly realized his knee cap popped out. He popped it back in - thoroughly explained the injury, gave him appropriate meds and we were on our way home. We had a great experience and are very grateful!
A absolute disgrace! Brought my 9 year old pit bull in because he was non stop vomiting. X-rays showed he had 2 blockages in his intestines, he would be dead in 3 days if we didnt do surgery. She says the surgery would be $3,000-$5,000. Once we commit she then says its actually going to be $6,000-$8,000 and she cant negotiate a price unless hes dying like right this second and the proceeds to suggest us to go to a place in the city that may be cheaper because they are practicing (REALLY?!) we brought our dog to flannery hospital where we were very happy with!
Been here a few times, always happy with the care my pets receive. Most of the bad reviews are due to prices. Yes they are more expensive but that is to be expected as they are a EMERGENCY HOSPITAL!! For those who dont know what that means let me explain as I was a tech in Florida at a ER for many years... Emergency hospitals do not to wellness exams, yearly checkups, vaccines, grooming, spay/ neuters and all other thing that day practices do. So they do not receive revenue like day practices do. There are some night that they will see NOTHING but still have to pay the Doctor, tech, receptionist, ect. They still need to pay the electric bill and rent/mortgage, they still need to make sure all their lab equipment/ x-ray machine and surgical suite is all up to date in the event you have a emergency and need them. So every night they pay $1000.00+ weather they see a patient or not. So maybe think about that before you complain that they want to charge you $500 for diagnostics to help you pet. It is your responsibility to take care of your pet and not to blame people who get into this field because they love animals. Yes we wish we could help everyone, and when we go home we stress over your pet and often cry. There are things like pet insurance and Care Credit you should have set in place BEFORE getting a pet. Also taking you pet for regular exam making sure they have vaccines to keep them healthy is very important. Also when your pet hasnt eaten for 2 weeks then at 10pm on a Sunday you take them in and expect them to work a miracle. I dont know... food for thought I guess. Yes it would be great if vet care was free but then there wouldnt be any hospital that could afford to stay in business. Also instead of becoming angry and screaming at the people who are there to help your pet how about calmly talking to them and they will usually try to work with you and adjust prices.
We had the best Experience and care for your baby (9 weeks old Bully Pitbull) back in July. The staff was courteous and kind. Dr. Petkov was amazing w/ the care he gave to Achilles. We had our baby for one day before he showed symptoms of not feeling well. We rushed him to the Hospital where they diagnosed him appropriately, quick action w/ treatment but best of all the proper treatment. By the time we left the Emergency Room our puppy was already in better spirits and had more energy. At first I didnt appreciate what Dr. Petkov was saying but in the end, I understood he was being straight forward and honest as a Dr. should always be. We often dont like to hear things we dont want to hear but he is a professional that knows what hes doing to make the patient better and that he did. Thank you, Dr. Petkove and staff for such great care. I am not mentioning the bill because thats irrelevant. We paid for quality service to help your puppy get through his ordeal so it was worth every penny. We are thankful the hospital is located so close to our home and will definitely use them again if needed.
On 4/22,at about 8pm, we brought our beloved 10 year old yellow lab in to be put to sleep. He had an appointment the next day with his Vet but he couldn’t wait. The receptionist, female tech, and Dr John were all so kind to us, ...I want to thank them for being there for us and Bo.
My experience there was more about pushing products and services, than about practicing honest, moral, medicine. I had to put down one of my cats and I wanted to go home to get the other cat to make sure it was sick as well, and the doctor was worried about getting it over with and just putting down my cat. Then I bring back my other cat, and instead of putting me in a different patient room because they had other rooms and no one was there, the doctor puts me and my other cat right back in the same patient room where she just put down my cat. Then we get my second cat and get her tested and she seemed fine, but the doctor insisted that I take further precautions, and then when I changed my mind, the doctor got upset about it like I was supposed to do what she said. It was the most unprofessional experience I had ever gone through. I could not believe it! Would never go back there again! And on top of it, I get estimates in the beginning for what my potential services and prices are going to be and I sign it and give it back. Then when I got to pay I get a bill with an amount, and then a reciept, but no break down of what I actually paid for at the end. So am I not supposed to know what was just charged on my card??? Again very unprofessional, very unorganized, just an overall bad experience!
On Friday night of New Year’s weekend, my daughter noticed our dog’s face had become very swollen on one side. Our regular vet was out of town so we found that OCAES was nearby. On the way over we saw the reviews and nearly turned around. I’m glad we went anyway. The vet who helped us, Dr. Dubiel, was so kind, caring and professional. She sent the details of our visit to our regular vet and called to follow up with us on New Year’s Eve. By then, the swelling and pain were already gone thanks to her diagnosis and treatment. Im not surprised that emergency service costs more than a regular vet visit. They are keeping their staff and facilities available all night long in case you need them. I am glad they were there for us.
On 7/27/19 @10:30pm my fiancé and I had to rush our dog to the vet due to he was throwing up blood. Iam overly disgusted with this vet. The bedside manners were HORRIBLE... machines were broken so they couldn’t even diagnose our dog the correct way didn’t even explain what shots were given to our dog.... didn’t get us paper work with everything that was done.. the vet helper was diagnosing our dog when she she’s not even a veterinarian to be able to do that telling us our dog at issues with his pancreas... all and all I if I could this place would have a ZERO rating I should’ve brought my dog to flannery animal hospital.... THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE
I called to let them know i was coming because my cat was in distress and my regular vet was closed. The woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude, and tried to get me not to come in. She seemed annoyed I was even calling and told me to monitor my cat more. Monitor her until what? she dies? Shes already laying on the ground barely responsive, how much worse should she get before its acceptable? I ended up driving an hour to the Poughkeepsie emergency vet instead. My cat had a tumor on her spleen that had ruptured. Im glad i chose not to go here and went somewhere else.
This was two of the worst experiences that I have ever encountered with going to an animal hospital. The first time my cat had a seizure and we had to wait for two hours for them to come in and tell us that there was nothing they could do. When I looked at the bill they charged me 6 dollars for waste disposal fee, which was them attempting to take the cats temperature, but failing and throwing out the cover for the thermometer. Tonight we went in because of our cat having a thorn in her eye. We waited an hour and a half for him to tell us that he doesnt have the proper equipment, but if we waited longer he could give us a cream after he takes a closer look at it. As soon as he said this my spouse took the cat and walked out since the first time they looked at the cat it cost us $150 for them to do nothing. Do not go to this place unless your pet has been poisoned since that seems to be the only thing that they actually can handle.
RUN AWAY and avoid at all costs. This group is highway robbery with a median price of $1200 every time you walk in. They prey on pet owners who will do anything to save their pet. It’s all about the money. If you can’t pay they happily let you leave with your sick or dying pet. These vets take a Hippocratic oath to preserve life but their mission statement is MONEY. Call Flannery Animal Hospital (24hr service) Newburgh or Oradell Animal Hospital NJ, also a 24hr service. At least you will get what you pay for. This one star is wasted on them.
Uncaring people. I called to ask about information regarding Kennel Cough, and what I can do to help my dog. Instead of giving me any advice they demanded me to bring my dog there and they couldnt tell us anything without seeing the dog in a real nasty tone. These people dont care about animals, they care about money. Perfect examples of dirt bags. Will never ever go here.
Ive used this place a few times only because they are the only 24hr emergency place around- If we had another one local id take my pets there (I have multiple cats and dogs and also foster so I have quite a bit of experience and have had to use them for the fosters who tend to have problems to begin with). Wait times can be poor, the staff unfriendly, uncaring, and frequently do not explain whats going on. Its more or less an animal chop shop that one should use only out of desperation- oh, and be prepared for that ridiculous bill!
If you have a weekend veterinary emergency one really no choice but to come here. Unfortunately, they are very slow, and the vet will promise to give an update in ten minutes and then instead leave because his shift is over.I wouldnt recommend this facility, but as I said - we really have no alternatives here in Orange County.
Horrible place. you killed my best friend. these people diagnosed my dog with a blockage that required surgery for thousands of dollars and that wasn’t even what she had, and unfortunately it resulted in her death. how are you up and running when you can’t even diagnose a dog correctly isn’t that your job.... i’ll never forgive any of you for ending my babies life early. all these people care about is money.
I called at 5 a.m because my dog was throwing up blood and had a bloodie stole and the first thing they ask is how im paying and the prices. I told them i didnt care about the prices and she recommended me to wait until my vet opens at 8. Dont waste your time calling this place, you have a better chance of taking care of the problem yourself then leaveing it to them
They Killed my baby due to their negligence and incompetence they don’t deserve even 1 star please do not take your pets here all they care about is $$$ wish I went to the other emergency vet ln Newburgh It was much further away had I seen all the horrible reviews I would have they lied about their closing time and they pushed my baby out the door postop He died 40 minutes later while I was waiting for my regular vet to open This slaughterhouse should be shut down All they care about is taking advantage of people in distress and take as much money as they can every single person in that place was a piece of garbage
I now take my dog for emergency, and I have a bad English, but know how to explain what I need, and I speak Spanish and Portuguese, did not have anything to complain about doctors, was very helpful, but when I was leaving I was humbly apologize girl balcony for my bad English, the clearest girl was a pleasant false, and the other girl who was with her behind the counter, was unhappy in motioning with his hands, as if he was saying going away soon, some here and clear girl laughing, girlfriend sombando on my back, so she was unhappy because I looked behind and saw what she was doing behind my back, and I am now writing an objection to the direction, because it is called prejudice, and I think this and an embarrassment for an emergency, and if I shut up they never respect the work place.

2020-01-27I never leave reviews.IF I COUKD GIVE THIS HOSPITAL 0 STARS, I WOULD. This was a very disappointing experience. My cat was just spayed a week ago. Her breathing was labored today. We took her here and the first thing I was told is that it would be $1,500 to $1,700 to run additional tests (X-ray, blood work) with no further explanation. The Vet was rude, argumentative and lacked sympathy. We left and took our cat to a different nearby hospital. They put her in an oxygen cage to assist her breathing and examined her and found a heart murmur. They wanted to run further tests (which were quoted at $1200 less) and were so much more sympathetic and helpful.Given the overall rating of this hospital and the comments posted, I’m unsure how they are still in business. I recommend taking your pet somewhere else.

2021-02-13At first I was skeptical because of the low ratings, but my cat needed an emergency c-section and I needed help ASAP. They offered to do it for 3400 which I could not afford. They were kind enough to offer numbers for places that could do it cheaper. Staff were nice though. Tara van did it for 900$, and my cat is doing just fine.

2021-01-22I see a lot of negative comments but after a horrible experience with the emergency hospital in Newton NJ I chose to drive 26 miles to this overnight vet.My dog had a bleeding issue. To top it off he is aggressive outside my home. Even though they bleeding stopped and he wouldnt let the vet near him, The vet was very helpful and even gave me guidance incase the wound opened up again. They were upfront and honest even about cost. Hopefully I will never need an emergency visit again but with the overnight options I have available to me I would definitely try them again.

2019-10-09If I could choose zero stars, I would. We took our 3-year old dog on 9/30 for respiratory distress. My wife had to wait 10 minutes to be allowed in and was asked if she called ahead. Sorry...its an emergency, calling ahead is the last thing on our minds. Then she was told they already had a dog on a respirator. Youre a hospital, you only have on respirator! The woman at the front desk was rude, lacked all empathy and showed a complete lack of interest. Long story short, our dog did not come home with us. As we were saying our goodbyes, she walked in and actually rolled her eyes because obviously in her mind we were taking too long. The doctor was great but the remaining staff need more or better training.

2019-07-09I had a wonderful experience. My 8 week old puppy was dehydrated, lethargic and not eating after being diagnosed with two intestinal parasites. I brought him in, the doctor was so friendly and informative. My puppy had to spend the night. The doctor called me with a full report at the end of her shift. Later in the evening I received two more update calls. I picked my boy up in the morning and he was back to his regular, crazy puppy self! Thank you all so much for taking good care of Gus.(Side note - for those so concerned over cost: think about a human visit to the emergency room. Not cheap! I went knowing that I would be paying more than a regular vet visit, but my baby was more important than worrying about cost.)

2019-05-27My chihuahua was having a severe allergic reaction and wouldnt stop itching and scratching and biting himself. I brought him here three years ago for the same problem. At that time they gave him an injection of a steroid which immediately eliminated the symptoms. This time they gave him the same steroid and it had no effect! So, I returned at 11pm to get him a sedative so he could at least sleep. All three exam rooms were occupied. I had to wait a long time and I never saw a single animal come out of any of the exam rooms. I saw people but no animals. That told me the staff was dealing with some serious emergencies. Finally they were able to see my dog and gave him an injection. I was grateful that they were open. I think the staff does a SUPER job under difficult circumstances.

2021-01-31If I could give this a negative star review, I certainly would. This is the worst animal hospital you could possibly go to. This is a joke of an establishment. Poorly organized and run. I waited for 2 hours for them to bring my dog in, they forgot we were even outside. No one came out to tell us what was going on. Please, do yourself and your pet a favor and go somewhere else. They will never get another dime from me. An absolute disgrace to vets everywhere.

2020-09-07Took my cat here last night after throwing up and becoming unresponsive. They told me she would most likely not make it and offered to hold her overnight or a day or two in an oxygen cage untill she was doing better for 1600 dollars and still probably wouldnt make it. I requested to bring her home and attempt helping her breathing myself with steam treatment in the bathroom and such or at least not let her pass away in a vets office by herself as you cant go in due to covid. The doctor told me I would watch her suffocate and there would be nothing I could do about it if I took her home. After 12 hours at home in my care she is doing so much better it is night and day. I will be bringing her to her normal vet tomorrow as today is labor day and he is closed but she is doing so much better walking around drinking eating a little, laying on my lap and using the liter box on her own. I am very very happy I didnt follow their actual advice of putting her down. The reason I am really giving 1 stars is the way the doctor tried to make me feel like I would be a bad person to take her home and hope for the best if I didnt pay 1600 or put her down and now she is doing so much better without doing either of those things. I dont believe he meant this maliciously but still it bothers me he made it seem my only option was to pay $1600 while he didnt sound convinced it would help when she apparently didnt even need that.

2020-09-04I called this vet on Tuesday 9/1 around 11:00 pm my pregnant cat was acting strange not at all like my cats had in the past and also had some bloody discharge and was acting in pain. The woman who answered the phones told me that my cat would know what to do and that her behavior didn’t sound odd and that I should just keep an eye on her. I again said her strange behavior and that I had cat’s have kittens before and this was not the same the woman still said that cats know what to do. The next morning I woke up to know change in my cat took her to a regular vet and she died within an hour of arriving. She had dead kittens and her uterus had ruptured. Had this emergency vet actually listened to what I was telling them my cat would prob still be here and wouldn’t have suffered all night. My family is devastated we lost our pet and her babies she was only 3! I wish I had contacted a different vet do yourself a favor and find another!

2020-11-14AVOID THIS VET AND HOSPITAL!!!!We took our dog 3 weeks ago after he was quilled by a porcupine. In addition to how unpleasant they are, they forgot to remove quills as they did not do any imagery... Duh. Our dog also got kennel cough there AND came back with a severe inflammation of his throat. We had to go see another vet in emergency (a competent one this time) for another surgery, sedation and antibio and anti-inflammatory treatment. Awful place and experience and unprofessional people. Dont trust this place.
