We have two carpets we bought 10 years ago which spend most of the year as the center carpets in a motorhome. This entails continual traffic and campground dirt and food. Each year we bring these carpets back to Oriental Rug Market where we bought them to be cleaned and restored, if necessary, for another year of service. As always we were greeted warmly, the rugs were taken to be cleaned and returned two weeks later as good as new, ready for another year of service. It is always a joy to walk into the store and be greeted as friends and given the service we need.
Awesome attention when I bought a rug last year. Very patient and knowledgeable. I just had two rugs cleaned there and again, awesome service and a great job cleaning the rugs.

Great store with large selection of high quality rugs !! This locally owned store cares about its customers. The owners are experts on the products they carry and very helpful in allowing you to browse at your own pace. If you arent sure what you are looking for, they will take the time to help you. If it were possible to give Oriental Rug Mart more stars I would.
We have owned a beautiful Persian carpet for 16 years. We were afraid to have it cleaned. We had a smaller carpet cleaned by Oriental Rug mart and they did a fine job on that. So, we tried them with our “investment.” They did a wonderful job. The people are very knowledgeable and helpful. The mall location is perfect.The store has such beautiful rugs and carpets that we hope to purchase one in the near future.
At last I can share an experience I had with a company with great enthusiasm! I had purchased a rug from The Oriental Rug Mart in 2014. Three years later I had it cleaned. The work was satisfactory. I recently had it cleaned again after it had taken quite a beating since the entire family was at home during the present health crisis. The job done was SUPERB! The owner said they now have new technology and boy, it showed. The carpet looks better than NEW. My husband and I are tip-toeing around it we are so pleased with the job done. I simply had to share my joy....
I love this store, and the owners are a delightful couple that take the time to get to know you and treat you like family. Ive bought many pieces from them over the years, and so have my family members and friends from out of state. Their stock is varied and high quality, and they love to share information about where the rugs were made, and what tribal groups wove them. As other reviewers have indicated, there is also no pressure to buy, so you can look at your own pace and not feel stressed to make any decision.
Purchasing a rug at Oriental Rug Mart was one of the most pleasurable shopping experiences Ive ever had. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely patient. I spent hours with them picking out different types of rugs- the selection is remarkable. THEN I was able to take multiple rugs home to try them in my space to make sure the investment in my first quality area rug was just right. I will only purchase rugs from them in the future!

We purchased two area rugs needed for 2 bedrooms. We have purchased rugs from the Oriental Rug Mart in the past and knew we could depend oni the quality of their products. Oriental rugs are a very smart investment. Dont get scared off by the price. A quality handmade wool rug will outlast any of us, making it an heirloom piece that can be handed down to your children or grandchildren. Though you will find much cheaper rugs at Walmart, Pier 1, and Wayfair, they will never hold up beyond a few years. Take my advice: save up for a quality oriental rug and youll be much happier. Its a smart investment! The folks that work here are incredibly knowledgeable and patient, and they will be able to help you find a rug that fits your style and budget.We had been taking our three oriental rugs to this shop for several years for regular cleaning and they always do a great job. The pricing is fair and the turnaround time is very quick. Every time we stopped in we would browse their selection of rugs. Their staff was incredibly patient with us as we spent hours looking through stacks of rugs and mulling our choices. Finally, we bit the bullet this summer and purchased a fantastic 8x10 hand-knotted wool rug. In the four months weve had it, it still looks brand new, and its clear its going to last a lifetime.We highly recommend the Oriental Rug Mart in Victor, and we are customers for life. Cant wait to save up for our next rug, which we will absolutely purchase from them. Definitely stop and and check them out.
We had assessments for four rug pieces for insurance and/or sale. We were pleased with the professional detail provided and the thoroughness of the presentation which will act as provenance in the future.The personable attention from Reza and Jila was a pleasure. In shopping for other pieces we never felt any pressure or sales pitches.The one piece we had cleaned came out pristine. Reza, and his team, at Oriental Rug Mart are wonderful. We purchased a beautiful rug made in Pakistan this fall. Reza let us take home several rugs to try in the space. He and Tim listen carefully to your preferences and then search for rugs that meet your tastes and space parameters. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff! We had a great experience working with them. You have to work closely with them as they flip through rug after rug, but they never got impatient or pushy with us. They encouraged us to take two rugs home to try. And when I wasnt as happy with them in the space as I had hoped, they did not give me any grief or get too pushy when I brought both back. They were very understanding and definitely worked with us to find beautiful rugs that worked for our tastes and needs within our price range. The only trouble is that the shop is a little hard to find!! (Behind the now closed Kmart across from the mall). Definitely recommend.
We had a very stained Chobi carpet too the Oriental Rug Mart for cleaning. My wife was sure that the stains would not come out. We are delighted to say that the rug looks fantastic. Every spot, including red wine stains, was cleaned and are now invisible. Oriental Rug Mart staff are very knowledgeable, very helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend them. My only regret is that they have so many beautiful rugs and we dont need any more.
We have had absolutely wonderful experiences here. The owners are delightful and extremely helpful, and never apply any pressure to buy anything. The products they have are of amazing quality and look beautiful in our home. Would highly recommend, and will look forward to returning soon.

2022-03-13HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Knowledgeable, skilled, courteous and professional!I brought in a 90s machine made Persian rug that has great sentimental value to me and unfortunately has been in a damp basement for 15 years. Had mold concerns, foundation rot and they cleaned it up and reinforced it so now maybe my kids could one day play with Legos on a Persian rug someday too!

2022-06-03I have known the owners and have done business with them many times. I also, as an interior designer, have worked with clients who are looking for rugs. This store is wonderful--an adventure to visit. One of the best things about it besides the proprietors who try to please and not push sales, is that there is a whole range of styles and prices. I love that because then young people who are starting to furnish a home can find something there that is affordable and lovely, but others who have highly decorated houses or collect oriental rugs, can also find treasures. The dealer also allows prospective buyers to try things out in the home--and change their minds--until they find the perfect accent for their decor.

2022-03-245 stars not enough. Walked in for the first time and everyone was so kind and helpful! Amazing customer service! I absolutely LOVED the free try before you buy. You get to sign out a few rugs WITHOUT PAYING…see which ones work best with your home decor. Great business and so helpful. No pushy sales…only there to help you find exactly what you need. Recommend everyone try this place out if you need any type of rugs.

2021-10-12I recently purchased a Karastan area rug for our entryway. I had stopped by the store to browse and saw some rugs that I thought might work. I was very pleased to be able to sign out samples and see how they looked at home. The one I liked best was too small, but when I returned to the store I learned that it could be ordered in the size I wanted. I also purchased a rug mat to keep it from slipping. Less than two weeks later, my rug arrived, and I couldn’t be happier with the style and quality.I highly recommend the Oriental Rug Mart. The owners and staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

2022-05-15Brought 3 rugs into Oriental rug Mart. Rugs can either be easily dropped off at a back door (where you can park) or someone from store will help carry from your car. The rugs were ready in a bit over 1 week (quicker than promised), I was charged a reasonable price and they now look like new (they had been very dirty). I have also bought from and had rugs repaired by Oriental Rug Mart over many years and I recommend them without reservation

2022-03-28I was about to give up on a much-loved, 40 year old, tufted rug that had endured two different puppies. I had a hard time finding someone who might replace the edging which had been chewed on and completely torn in spots. But Oriental Rug Mart knew just what was possible and within days we had a rug that looks like it did when we bought it.The overall experience was very pleasant, the cost was fair, and I highly recommend this business.

2022-04-08I inherited two valuable carpets, and took them in to be cleaned. The staff did an excellent job. When one of the rugs needed to be cleaned twice, they did not charge me more than the original quote. The carpets turned out beautifully!

2022-02-12After browsing / negotiating / bidding on rugs for a month on-line I was starting to OD. I grew suspicious when sellers would cut prices up to 65% after they knew I was interested. I simply couldnt trust what I was looking at on-line. I suggested to my husband that we visit Oriental Rug Mart in Eastview Mall, hoping that seeing and feeling the rugs in person would give me some perspective. It proved to be a wise move. The friendly staff listened carefully as I described what we were looking for. They even had 3 antique Chinese Art Deco rugs to show me, which instantly enlightened me that an antique Chinese rug would not serve our dining room. Based upon our parameters and expressed taste they offered to give us a quick introductory tour of some lovely rugs from India, Nepal and Pakistan. Immediately we were excited by the possibilities. They must have flipped through 25 rugs for us. We took pictures and logged the specs. on the rugs that we were drawn to. There was no pressure to make a purchase. We took all the possibilities home with us and logged on to their website to review what we had seen. We called the next day to take them up on their offer to see the three 8x10 rugs we had chosen laid out on the showroom floor. We liked all three very much, but settled on two. They encouraged us to take both rugs home and live with them for 3 to 4 days - bring one or both back to the store. Being able to try the rugs in our dining room made all the difference in our making the perfect decision for our room.This daunting process of choosing just the right rug was made enjoyable, instructive and comfortable for us by the professional staff at Oriental Rug Mart. They enabled and guided our decision process through listening to us and sharing their expert knowledge and insights. We are thrilled with this addition to our home! Our dining room is complete!
