I highly recommend Dr.Cho. My son has been going there and wear the ortho k lens about 3 years. Dr. Cho is extremely patient and answers all of my questions and concerns throughout the years. My son really loves him. Very sad that we might be moving to South California in few months. My son even asked me if the eye doctor in SC is as nice as him! I could only say hope so.
Dr. Cho has the best bedside manner. He is patient, thorough and encouraging. My son just had another appt today and he told me he loves Dr.Cho’s office because “it smells clean and they play peaceful music”. And my son can see at 20 20 vision in the daytime. Before seeing Dr Cho, his vision deteriorated very quickly within months. But it’s a relief knowing we can slow that down.
I would highly recommend Ortho-K Specialty in Bayside. Dr. Cho is super nice and patient. He is very detailed and takes his time with my daughter. He always explains to her what test he’s doing, the reason for the test so she is never scared or nervous. He was really patient and encouraging when my daughter had her 1st fitting and every time after that. My daughter is very comfortable with him and enjoys the little goodie bags at the end of her visits. The office is lovely and super clean. I never have to wait, the time scheduled is the time she is seen. His Staff is very polite and courteous.
My daughter has been seeing Dr. Cho for 5 years and her prescription has not changed at all. We are lucky to have Dr Cho because he is better equipped than others in dealing with adolescent myopia. My daughters prescription is high and regular ortho K will not work. Fortunately he has the right tool for that. He is very professional in taking care of his patients and he follows up to make sure everything is okay. I highly recommend him to anybody who wants to control the myopia of their kids.
Dr Cho is the most patient and kind Dr. we have ever met. My kid has been wearing OK lens for more than 5 years. His vision never change since he started ortho k with Dr. Cho. It is a miracle. We are so grateful that my kid can participate all activities without any hassle of glasses.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Cho for about two years. He wears the OrthoK lenses and is so happy that he doesn’t have to wear his glasses or contacts during the day. Dr. Cho is knowledgeable, patient, thorough and takes the time to listen to your concerns. He explains everything very carefully and has a genuine concern for his patients. I recently called Dr. Cho with an eye issue for my 82 year old mother. It was so easy to get an appointment and he took the time to address her concerns. To start, we were only visiting from out of state. My daughter misplaced her contact remover plunger for her Ortho-k. No places were selling and only next day delivery options were available for a replacement. We needed something quick to remove her contacts and I called this place to see if they have some they can offer. They said yes! Not only did they not charge me, they left the contact remover in a small cute gift bag with candy. Amazing! To do this for people as an act of kindness speaks volume and we weren’t even from the area!! Wholesome people who go out of their way for others for the sake of service is a reflection of good care for patients, I know because I am a physician myself and know how much this means. Would recommend them with out a doubt.
Dr. Cho is amazing. My dad is scared of change and Dr. Cho was very patient and explained what was wrong with his vision until my dad felt completely comfortable. I am amazed that even during a time of COVID, he is able to still make his patients feel so at peace in his office. Dr. Cho and his team are truly excellent!
We love Dr. Cho. He is very patient with my son. My son has very specially needs for his eyes and he is explained his situation in details. He didn’t give ys any false hope as its very expensive but he was very optimistic because he is young. After a week of wearing orthoK lenses, my son’s vision improved drastically. So much better than when he was wearing his glasses. He answers all the questions based on his professional experiences and observing the trends thats happening to the young generations now. Dr. Cho is the most attentive doctor Ive ever met. My 10 year old with myopia and significant astigmatism was wearing glasses until we learned about ortho K option. Dr. Cho went above and beyond to make my son was comfortable with him. Dr. Cho ensured that all of my questions had been answered and he was always text/call away. I felt very comfortable with him becoming my sons doctor. Dr. Cho is super patient and he strives for his patients success. Love the doctor and what he does! Thank you Dr. Cho for 18 months of zero degradation of our sons vision and his glasses free life. It might be tough for the kid to get used to the lenses. But its worth every penny you spent on them, as it helps to slow down the vision loss. If you are having second thoughts, please come and visit Dr. Cho. I visited OrthoK for my yearly eye exam and I had a great experience. The staff at OrthoK were very polite and Dr. Cho was amazing! He is very professional and knowledgable. I went to Ortho K to have a DMV Eye test.I was extremely impressed by how friendly and professional the staff led by Dr. Cho were.The eye test was conducted in a short period of time with the results sent directly online to the DMV.All Covid protocols were strictly followed. The office itself immaculately maintained.I’d strongly recommend using Ortho K Services. I wish all practices were so well run.
I havent had my eyes checked in a few years and a friend recommended that I come here. It was a wonderful experience! (the best Optometrist that Ive been to so far) The office is bright, clean and well staffed. As I was getting examined, Dr. Cho explained every test that we did with all of the ~fancy~ machinery. He very patiently explained the results and handled all of my questions. I highly recommend!

We’ve seen Dr. Cho for 3 months. OK lenses go very well for preventing vision from getting worse so far for my nine year old kid. Dr. Cho is very professional and thorough about the vision check each time. He’s very nice and patient with my kid. He’s also very responsive during non office hours to my questions. The office is clean and quiet. We enjoyed our visit every single time. Highly recommended!

2022-02-25We have been seeing Dr. Cho for about 7 years. He is a meticulous, competent and patient eye doctor. Dr. Cho helped my kids tremendously with their Ortho K treatment. Under his care, their vision was stabilized, and they are doing extremely well. We highly recommend Dr. Cho if you are considering Ortho K!!

2022-01-09We are so grateful to have Dr. Cho as our child’s Ortho-K doctor. Any parents going through the Ortho-K fitting process should know it is stressful and exhausting – you were anxious about whether or not it would work for your child, it’s a big commitment moneywise, and so many back and forth trips to doctor’s office. However, Dr. Cho made the whole process a pleasant one!Here is our little story. My child had already worn Ortho-K lenses for about 18 month when we first came to see Dr. Cho. My child’s old doctor unfortunately was not able to practice any more and we had to find a new doctor. A friend of us whose daughter also saw Dr. Cho gave us the recommendation. After carefully checking up, Dr. Cho told us my daughter’s old lenses were still in good shape and could be continually used. He is objective and has patient’s best interest in mind. He was not pushing you to get new lenses.After we decided to establish our child’s eye care with Dr. Cho, the whole process was exceptional. He explains everything patiently and clearly, answers any emails and text messages and phone calls responsively, works patiently with my daughter to teach her how to put on and take off the lenses and tips about caring for the lenses. My daughter loves Dr. Cho! She was so happy every time we came to visit and got treats from Dr. Cho 😊Dr. Cho is superb in the area he’s practicing! The re-fitting of Ortho-K lenses for a child who had already worn them before is much more complex. Dr. Cho spent the time and effort fine-tuning the prescription and ordering a second lens to improve the vision of my child’s right eye. It was a significant improvement, and we were very impressed by Dr. Cho’s skills and ability!Also, the office is always neat and clean, and the staff at the front desk is always attentive and smiling 😊 We would recommend Dr. Cho without reservation to anyone who are interested in Ortho-K!

2022-01-22My kids have been going to OrthoK for five years and it has kept my older daughter’s vision stable and slowed progression of our younger child. Given our genetics otherwise I’m sure they would be needing new glasses every year otherwise. Highly recommend.

2022-05-16I have been searching for OK lenses for children for two years. I can’t be happier that I found Dr. Cho! Coming from an all-doctor s family, Dr. Cho is one of the most competent doctors who also has high EQ I have met! He is so good with my son ( I am sure with all children). He explains complex terms and issues in very simple and children- like way. So kids never get bored or feeling defeated. My son was very relaxed and confident during the entire session both at the consultant and first training. We went with level one OK lenses with NO hesitation. I must say that Dr.Cho bestows us HOPE. Today is my son s first day wakes up with a clear vision that he has been missing for two years. He was literally jumping up and down singing and screaming. Lol! It is an ineffable feeling!We also received Dr. Cho s personal email asking how my son feels for his first day wearing OK lenses. Amazing!The office staff, Liz and Grace are also very nice and patient and soft-spoken. These girls definitely have power of being humble. They are so keen on replying text messages. Those girls keep good communication timely. And you would never feel you would lost after leaving the office.In short, if you want your child have 20/20 vision, DR. Cho is all the hope you can get from.
