At the Newark airport I got food at the Deli, a restaurant that is managed my OTG Management. After ordering my food and paying for it in advance, the wait was extremely long for a sandwich. After about a 10 minute wait I was informed that the deli did not have a specific meat in my order, and to choose another sandwich, all of which costed less. There was no effort to reimburse the extra charge for the sandwich, and customer service was awful. Would not return.
If no stars was a option. I applied for lead position had a interview they gave me a regular position and said I got the job, when I told them I applied for a manager/lead position magically they couldn’t find my paperwork that states that even when I sent them the screenshots of my application, and said I would have to re-apply and do the process over when the job position wasn’t available anymore . One word “ UNPROFESSIONAL “ !!!
I fly multiple times a month from EWR for business Ever since OTG took over EWR Terminal C, the selection of food has improved, but resulting quality of food and service does not in any way justify the enormous price increase. The service is consistently impersonal and mediocre (probably because everything is ordered through iPad, and there is minimal interaction with a real human being), and the food Ive had ranged from average to oh, yuck, thats a dead housefly in my salad. True story.Additionally, trying to get a receipt via e-mail (they dont offer paper receipts) is a hassle. I didnt receive one for my last dining experience there, and had to follow up via their web site, which, a week later, still has not produced a receipt for my expense report. (Yes, Ive checked the spam folder.)The only positive I see (which is adding a star to my review), is the self-serve, self-checkout markets they operate throughout the terminal. If you need an expensive bottle of water or a pack of gum, they offer a quick option to purchased those, as long as you dont need a receipt.
I walked the entirety of LGA terminals C and D looking for a decent place to eat. All of the restaurants are cookie cutter places dressed up to look different and priced over twice what they should be. All the tables with greasy ipads and dusty silverware left out take up space where travelers could sit without being price gouged. The CEO of OTG Management foolishly prides himself with an average price per person of double most airports... and lies when he attributes this to the quality experience he provides. NO. Its because you run an double priced monopoly and customers stuck waiting for their flights have no option when they are hungry. Soon they will wise up to your tactics, bring their own food, and you will be out of business. I personally am waiting the 4 hours to eat at my destination airport which is not monopolized by you.
The COVID crisis has thankfully closed many of OTG restaurants in EWR, IAH and other U.S. airports. EWR terminal C is a study in site design, structure and options for the democratization of aviation and public space. Many talented designers worked on the OTG space renovations and they have many nice design features and concepts by Rockwell studio and others that were blighted by excess and not having many vegetarian options or sustainable features. Jamba Juice was much loved and displaced. The OTG menus seem to have been designed by malicious extraterrestrials to accelerate the 5th, 6th Extinction and destroy the planet Earth. They have not responded to many comments or suggestions from airline employees.
Newark Airport, Concourse C1 (United Airlines)...........In the central restaurant/magazine region where serve yourself is available, I once again had a beyond exceptional, utterly delicious meal on the part of OTG. There is not any restaurant in the world who could best the meal, period! Off the charts perfect - delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!If I lived near the airport and it was possible to go there and dine, Id be there at least twice per week. Thank you OTG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everything is over priced and the quality is horrible. OTG is showing up in several airports. Id rather have food from real local businesses. Id even rather eat from the shake shack, buffalo wild wings mc Donalds or the local bagel place in Deltas Terminal 4 @JFK than eat in Deltas LGA Terminals C & D. OTG is truly ruining the airport experience.
I give this otg management 0 stars as a customer and a past employee. Who decided to quit because the managers and HR didnt pay me. I was owed a weeks pay and when i would bring it up to the managers they would act like air heads. No clue what im talking about. Oh ok but then they would still continue to schedule me for work. Im sorry but when did i say i would work for free. This has to be by far the worst hospitality business i have ever worked for. The food is mediocre at best. I mean i cook better than most of the chefs there. Just a waste of time working there. Then the company has the nerve to send me a W2 with no money amount or taxes deducted seriously. Just go eat in mcdonalds instead and i dont even eat mcdonalds. But i would never recommend this place. I wish they would boycott them.
Has to be one of the worse run companies . Restaurants in Pearson international airport .. are horrible . The system used is horrible .. they have iPads in every seat.. and 2 servers and full kitchen staff that makes burgers and deep friend items . Otg management should really change the way things are being done.
45 minutes to get a hot dog and fries and ordered a Chicago dog and got a burnt plain hot dog cold fries and had to pay 15.00 for this mess and the woman serving the food is so rude and has no customer service skills and she needs to put a hair net on and gloves health bureau I am sure would like to pay a visit here oh that would be me you should be ashamed of yourself and the staff you hire
I bought two red jacket juices and was served by Naznin at JFK terminal 5. She asked if it would be cash or credit, I said cash. She then said “$10”. The register still had $3.49 (roughly) as the guy in front of me bought a coffee. She then slipped my $20 in her pocket and gave me $10. I then asked her for a receipt and she pretended not to hear me. I said if again louder. She then took my items out of the bag and scanned them (she did not scan them before). The register showed $9.78 as my total and she then gave me my $0.22 change.I cannot believe she tried to not only over charge me but also steal from the company.
I interviewed there in August 2018. A 1 hour interview turned into 3 hours and 10min. I met everyone, the place had a casual friday / park ave. south vibe to it and I liked it. I didnt get the job since they wanted a person with strong MySQL skills. I was a bit disappointed to say the least.
Echoing what others have already said. Newark Airport is now bougie and wack. Expensive. Like 5 bucks for a candy bar...seriously? Seeing families sitting around tables eating 100 dollar meals staring at ipads was depressing. The airport has essentially priced out the average traveler.
I waited 20 minutes for a drink. At that time I requested my money back because I never received my order. After another 25 minutes the drink I no longer wanted was presented and I never got my refund. I will never make the mistake of being held hostage at one of these places.
The United wing of Newark Airport is so ridiculously bad that I would rather remain hungry and thirsty than deal with the service/available product visit to hell necessary to eat and drink while waiting during perpetual flight delays. Next time Ill plan to USE ANY OTHER AIRLINE THAN UNITED AT EWR!

2022-03-31The terminal 5 food court is designed terribly. Nothing flows well for a busy airport and travelers don’t understand how to order and pay at two separate lines. Why order on a iPad to pay in front of a cashier? Not to mention everything was dirty the floor, wall, and counters. Need napkins, ketchup or anything you could grab as an adult, then wait in line and ask so they can portion it out from behind glass.

2022-06-22Such an immense waste of resources its unethical. The last thing I expected when entering an airport is to see THOUSANDS of ipads which exist only to show an image of a QR code and link and then serve NO OTHER PURPOSE. Each ipad represents a device not being used in the education of low income housing or be a resource in connecting people and offering an actual benefit to humanity whatever hellish economics made this a reality is a prime example of why humanity is doomed

2022-06-04New cash-less pay system which requires all kinds of personal info to complete a transaction is lame. Why were they awarded the sole contract for the whole LGA terminal D? ALL restaurants, bars, and stores are owned by OTG! How corrupt is the airport and Delta airlines???

2022-01-11Cold chewy food. Unknowledgeable waitress. Useless management team.Took 20 minutes just to take our order. Almost half an hour for 2 salads and 2 pizzas.Server never came back to check on us. Pizzas were cold, salads were soggy (how do u mess up a CESARS salad?)Stay away from AERONOVA in JFK T5.Server Kamini is useless, didnt know different between hors d oeuvres and entres.Skip this location, grab chips n drink elsewhere.Waste of time n money.

2021-11-26I wish your contract at every airport you serve gets canceled. Worst service ever for mediocre food. We need more choices at the airport. Definitely do not pay for your food in advance! Then you can walk away when your food isn’t delivered in a timely manner.

2022-06-29Horrible customer service and overall corporate management. Had an issue with a receipt a month ago and customer service forwards my issue to upper management and it goes nowhere. I have repeatedly asked for a direct line to upper management and apparently customer service does not have the number.I will never get my money back.

2021-08-15The pizza place at LaGuardia Terminal D is incredibly overpriced and not very good. There was not enough cheese on the pizza, so it was basically dough with sauce that lacked flavor. Also in order to sit at the table, you have to order from the Ipads on the table. If you order from the IPad at the counter, you are not allowed to sit down to eat. There are no signs explaining this. I hope enough people complain about your horrible restaurants so LGA/Delta do not renew your contract. Please get rid of this place snd bring back the regular non-snooty restaurants with friendly staff and good customer service.

2021-08-02LaGuardia airport, delta concourse C- very rude staff at the food hall. I asked how the process worked since you had to choose your food at the place and pay somewhere else. The employee told me the read the sign and figure it out. A nice person next to me had to explain it. Then to find out you pay $4 for a fountain drink and can’t get any refills. Complete rip off and all rude employees.
