From the moment we had a Zoom meeting with him, we just knew that Peter was the right person to officiate our wedding. His warmth, charm and impeccable public speaking skills set him apart from the other officiants we were considering. We felt heard and respected by Peter and he took the time to re-work our ceremony draft until it included exactly what we wanted. On the day of our wedding, he was prompt, arriving earlier than expected so we had plenty of time to ask questions and sign our marriage license without rushing.The ceremony exceeded our expectations, clearly Peter has a gift. Everyone was blown away by his warm yet commanding presence. He just has a way of putting everyone at ease and speaking so eloquently. Our close family was convinced we had known him for years! We truthfully cannot recommend him highly enough; he is a spectacular wedding officiant.
Peter was the best officiant Ive ever worked with! (This is my second marriage, so thats not a totally strange comment. :) ) Peter responded to my online inquiry within an hour, and was very easy to work with regarding scheduling a time for officiating our ceremony. He has Venmo payments (among others) set up, which makes things super easy and convenient in these funny times. We requested just a license signing ceremony - no traditional wedding speech - but Peter still said some beautiful words to make it feel more special and less business-like, while still keeping things short and simple. We were also surprising our witness, and he asked ahead of time if there was anything hed like us to do to have him play into the surprise, and then went along with it perfectly. Our witness was surprised and giddy with excitement for the rest of the day, and I fully attribute that to Peters officiation of our ceremony. He mixed humor and sentimentality together beautifully, and made the day so very special. I will absolutely recommend him to other friends of mine, whether theyre getting married over Zoom like we did, at a socially-distanced outdoor wedding, or at a bigger traditional wedding one day when this pandemic is over.Its also worth mentioning that my laptop was doing something very strange, trying to pipe the sound in and out of my external monitor, and Peter was incredibly patient while I tried to figure that out (thankfully my now-husband had seen this happen before and fixed it when I called him over). Peter kept talking while we figured it out so wed be able to know when the sound was coming through correctly, and laughed it off with no issue. Is it really a good wedding if *something* didnt go wrong? Haha!
Peter was our officiant for our wedding on 4/17/21. From the beginning, we clicked with Peter. He was so easy to talk to and get along with. He was able to provide us with enough knowledge and ideas to make us feel comfortable with a person we never met in person officiating us. When Peter married us the day of our wedding, he felt more like a friend or family member. He kept the audience engaged and he officiated our wedding so effortlessly. We would recommend Peter to anyone. We can tell he takes his job seriously and cares so much about doing a nice job. We received so many compliments. My husband and I were just married last weekend and Peter did an amazing job as the officiant. Peter was exceptional from start to finish. Every step of the way was pleasant, transparent and fluid. He allowed us to personalize our ceremony as we went through several drafts. Having Peter as our officiant may have been one of the best decisions we could have made. He was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process and took the time to understand us as a couple before crafting a ceremony that truly felt like reflected us. Peter helped make our wedding ceremony one of the most memorable ceremonies that our guests have ever experienced! From the beginning, we knew we were dealing with a true professional who had a really good sense of who we are as a couple even before our initial meeting over Skype. He thoughtfully took the time to do research by reading our wedding website carefully and taking note that we had people who were no longer with us, and he thoughtfully included that fact in our ceremony. Also, he handled our three Filipino ceremony traditions with ease and clearly explained them in a way that even our non-Filipino guests could understand their deep meanings. Peter is thoughtful, kind, and so supportive! I highly recommend him for anyones wedding, big or small.

Due to the pandemic we had to restructure our wedding, which included needing to find an officiant in NYC. We interviewed with a few individuals but upon first speaking with Peter, we were instantly sold, and could not have been happier with the decision! He took the time to get to know us, and checked in with us a few times to ensure the ceremony was exactly how we wanted it to be. On the day of the wedding, he was professional, knowledgeable, personable, funny, poised, and genuine. Both my partner and I were nothing but impressed, and so were our guests apparently, since every single one later questioned who he was as they thought he was perfect. Peter was very professional and friendly when we worked with him on our online zoom wedding. We are both internationals, so we are not familiar with the wedding procedures in the US. Peter explained to us in details with patience. He always responded very fast with emails. During the ceremony, his smile, his presence and his speech really brightened up the wedding. Thanks, Peter! When we decided to find an officiant off the internet, I was a bit worried about choosing someone blindly. When I saw Peters site and watched the videos of him, I just had a gut feeling that he was the one. When my husband and I video chatted with him, we both had the same feeling and booked him right away...and our gut was on the money! Peter was responsive, personable, and professional for every step of the process. He really listened to what we wanted our ceremony to be and how we wanted it it feel, and he made that happen. He incorporated all the particular elements and wording that we wanted and during the ceremony...it did not feel like there was a virtual stranger up there with us, it felt like there was a friend. Peter was absolutely amazing. Our original wedding plans were hijacked by covid19 but here came Peter to the rescue! With his help we organized and held an online ceremony via zoom in a matter of two days. Our zoom wedding had close to 70 participants and everyone truly had an amazing time.Peter is a captivating speaker and can work a crowd like no other. Peter was in short a perfect officiant. We had a really rushed time period for the ceremony, we were trying to get married within a week, during the middle of the pandemic, and we wanted to do it in central park. Peter suggested some fantastic locations, one of which we chose. The location he chose was intimate and private, exactly what we wanted, and he showed up an hour early to hold it for us. He closed off the walk way with a sign that said wedding in progress, an adorable and thoughtful extra on his part. His professionalism and good nature during the whole ceremony made the day perfectly memorable. Both of our mothers are still talking about how wonderful his speech was, and given the opportunity I would recommend him a thousand times over. Theres a ton of bad going on in the world right now, and Peter made our lives that little bit more hopeful.Thank you Peter!
My wife and I absolutely adored Peter. Despite marrying during a pandemic, Peter made the experience really special for us. He was quick with responding to our inquiries and made himself available in such a short notice, stress and worry free. He was very charming and had us smiling the whole time. One never knows what to expect with making an important and very memorable decision on short notice, BUT I am so very happy we stumbled upon Peter and he becoming the chosen one for us. Even though we chose the simple I dos virtual package, it was everything that we had expected, plus more. We worked with Peter for an online license signing after finally being able to get our license through project Cupid. We had a small ceremony a few months ago so just expected a boring zoom paperwork thing along the lines of our virtual appointment with the city clerk but Peter still managed to make a very quick process feel memorable. I can only imagine that for longer and in-person ceremonies he’d be that much lovelier at officiating. Thank you, Peter!
Peter was such a wonderful choice for our August 2019 wedding. He is so easy to work with and was extremely responsive leading us to the wedding itself. As you can see in his videos on his website, he is well spoken, yet loud enough for all guests to hear without any issues. We had a shorter ceremony (about a half hour) that included Jewish traditions. Peter outlined a great ceremony for us to work with and let us adjust the format as needed. He made sure to arrive early the day of and was also very helpful finalizing our license after the ceremony. You cant go wrong with choosing Peter!

As we are both actors and performers, that is something we respond to.When we met with him for an initial consultation. His professional, respectful demeanor coupled with his knowledge of ceremonies, his ideas, and his friendly openness to our ideas really sealed the deal for us. He was a huge help guiding us into creating the ceremony that eventually would be used in our wedding. There is so much to worry about the days leading up to your wedding. One thing I can confidently say was that our officiant was not one of those things. From day one of meeting Peter in NYC with my fiancé, now husband, we knew he was the only one we trusted with our big day.After officially deciding to work with Peter we received a full outline of our ceremony, different options for prayers and his version of “our story”. We made small tweaks but overall Peter hit it out of the park. He even helped us in walking us through the wedding license process which was above and beyond.The day of the wedding Peter was absolutely magical. Listening to his ceremony you would think he has been a life long friend of ours and was just as invested in our marriage as our family and friends. We couldnt have asked for a better officiant! Peter was a great speaker, and pulled together our mixed background ceremony seamlessly. We are a non-religious couple, but wanted to honor our families Catholic and Jewish backgrounds, and he found the perfect words to honor this in his speech. We appreciated that he quickly shared his full speech with us early on, which helped put us at ease (one less thing to worry about during stressful wedding planning!). And he elegantly found a way to add in a tribute to my dad who had passed last year. During the wedding, our venues microphone failed, however everybody could still hear Peter super clearly - we had comments from our guests on what a great job he did, I dont even think they noticed! Not to mention, Peters quick thinking probably saved my dress from being caught on fire - I later found out he blew out candles that were previously lit by our venue coordinator to be right by my wedding dress on the floor! My wife and I wanted to elope in New York City. Central Park was a prime location for us so I began my search on several websites for officiants licensed in NYC. Throughout the process I contacted multiple officiants and Peter was the only one to respond in a timely manner. Peters email communication was excellent for a couple who is not familiar with NYC. Peter provided wedding license information, elopement locations with videos he created on his website, and Peter secured the ceremonys park permit on our behalf. Peter gave us the ability to modify anything he would say in the ceremonys script and that was very important to us. On the day of the wedding, Peter was on time and gave the ceremony the respect we wanted.Peter Boruchowitz is fantastic and incredibly well spoken. I highly recommend booking with him.
Peter was just wonderful. We had a last minute wedding change and he was there in a pinch. He sent us several options for our vows so we could tailor it to who we are as a couple. My daughter chose Peter for her Central Park Wedding. It was difficult for me to to let loose of my Southern Baptist - get married in your home church- roots, but from our first contact with him, I felt confident that the ceremony he conducted would be special.Peter touched base via email prior to the wedding and then included our personal items in the ceremony. ( For example , he mentioned the Bride and Grooms two dogs in the ceremony- smiles all around!) If I could give him more stars I would!
Peter married the love of my life and I on a beautiful day in April 2018. I found him online through a simple google search and really hit the jackpot. From the beginning, I knew he was my type of guy. Even before we met, I could tell through telephone conversations that he was articulate, professional and accommodating.When I first contacted him, he was on vacation traveling but nevertheless remained accessible via email and would respond in a timely manner to various questions. I explained that I was looking for something short and sweet at a private location in Manhattan. His cost was $500 which I thought was very reasonable after having spoken to several other officiants in the city. When we first sat down for a pre-ceremony coffee meeting, Peter was as advertised - professional, thoughtful and knowledgeable.At the ceremony, Peter was punctual, well-dressed and totally prepared with legal and other paperwork. For 30 minutes before we began, Peter joined in conversation with a small group of my family members and helped us take pictures and maintain an upbeat and friendly atmosphere.His life story is fascinating - he was an actor and massage therapist before becoming a wedding officiant. His presence was a major asset to the entire event. He was personable yet respectful and only sat with the family when invited. My future in-laws seemed very happy with our choice of officiant.The words he chose for the ceremony were just perfect and he incorporated the family members names’ who were in attendance. We all appreciated what he said so much that we asked for a copy of the words which he e-mailed to us within hours of the request.Overall, we had a wonderful experience with Peter and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is in need of his services.BH & CH
Peter made our ceremony as romantic and cozy as it could be during this weird time. We had a great time, everything was just perfect. Even though it was said that there would be simple I dos, still it was proper wedding ceremony with atmosphere of love. If you are looking for the officiant, Peter is the best!P.s: The signed license was sent back to us in less than an hour

Being the first in both of our families to get married outside of a church our parents were a little concerned and skeptical about us being married by an officiant at the venue. Peters Ceremony was incredible. He added the right amount of Religion (for our families), but kept it personal and light (for us). Our families have not stop raving about our beautiful the ceremony was - one guest told us it was the nicest service theyve every been to. I would recommend him to ANYONE needing an Officiant!
Peter was outstanding! (!!!). We went for the no-frills package but Peter turned it into a much more substantial ceremony by adding his insights and good will. He turned what we thought would just be the mechanics of getting married into something quite meaningful for both of us.
During this pandemic it was wonderful to see that Gov. Cuomo made it possible for couples wanting to get married to still be able to do so. When we heard, we signed up for a marriage license with Project Cupid. That experience was quick and pretty bland, but I guess thats not really the celebratory part. Once that was done we decided to get married ASAP. After a quick google search we stumbled upon Peter. I cant say enough about how awesome he is. He made our virtual wedding so personal and perfect. I couldnt have hoped for more from a Zoom Wedding or any kind of wedding to be honest. We hope once this pandemic is over we can meet him in person to officiate our own little ceremony for our friends and fam. Thanks Peter!
My husband and I had a very intimate zoom wedding ceremony with Peter Boruchowitz. I must confess, I didnt know what to expect since its our first time getting married. I thought itll be a quick I do, sign forms and the boom the zoom meeting would be over.. but i was wrong. Peter Boruchowitz made our ceremony immensely special, I cannot express this enough! Peter Boruchowitz was our officiant and we cant recommend him highly enough! He spent time before the event getting to know us and out story and incorporated key details into the ceremony. The Covid-19 crisis of our time has had a significant impact on all our lives. With a world at a standstill, that one could never expect at any given moment all things had ceased to exist. My husband and I were so fortunate to have found Peter Boruchowitz. Mr. Boruchowitz married us late in May just as my husband and I thought all might be lost. We finally had just come together at a later part of our lives of over 20 years that life pulled us apart, I to the military and John’s a different path. Due to Mr. Boruchowitz’ due diligence, he cared enough to make all things possible for John and I to be together and we couldn’t thank him enough. 2022-03-04Peter was a brilliant officiant!Being overseas and having to met Peter a on Zoom, we knew he had to be our officiant. He is charismatic, funny and professional. Not knowing exactly what we wanted, Peter recommended ideas and gave us a lot of variety and choice to what our ceremony could be, which was excellent.On the our wedding day, Peter was prompt and fully prepared. Our location in Central Park was booked and cordoned off for our ceremony. Peter delivered a beautifully and personal ceremony which made our wedding extra special.

2022-03-06We are so grateful for finding Peter to officiate our wedding! We wanted to exchange our vows in a completely unique way and after looking around online for someone, we found Peter’s website and knew right away that we wanted him to do it! He responded very quickly and was available for the date and time we wanted. He then did a Zoom call with us ahead of time to get acquainted with us and get some more information about what we wanted for the ceremony. We felt even more comfortable after the Zoom call, as if we had known him for years! He was very communicative throughout the entire process and then when we met up with him on our wedding day, he helped us find the perfect spot (we got married in a public location in Manhattan that meant a lot to us)! We had such a great time with him that we made him come with us to Campbell Apartment in Grand Central for a celebratory toast before we went on with the rest of our big day! We cannot recommend Peter enough as an officiant and feel so lucky to have found him!

We were victims of the covid wedding, so we got married online in 2020 and then asked Peter to be our officiant when we celebrated with friends and family in 2022. He made both experiences even better with his professionalism, care and thoroughness. We felt like Peter truly wanted us to have the best experience and one that reflected us as a couple. My family and friends commented on how Peter totally made the zoom wedding way more meaningful and sentimental than they could have imagined it would have been. We are so grateful we found Peter! He was professional and responsive leading up to the wedding, is flexible, punctual, organized, wore a tuxedo, and most importantly officiated our wedding with his booming powerful voice. Think twice before having a friend officiate your wedding - it will be impossible to beat Peters professionalism and expertise. If you want to incorporate friends, have them do a reading during the ceremony or a toast during reception. Hire Peter to officiate the wedding, he will do it right! We received many compliments about Peters officiating. 5 stars!

2022-06-29Peter is an absolutely incredible officiant - he is professional and passionate in all that he does. He took the time to know my husband and I before the wedding, worked with us on a few drafts to get the ceremony exactly right, and totally delivered on the day. His warmth and kindness immediately grounded me as I reached the end of the aisle - I didnt realize how much that would mean to me! 2022-06-22Peter was better than anything I could have hoped for in an Officiant. He was very helpful and engaging from the beginning even 9 months before the wedding. Everything we needed to do was laid out for us in a clear concise plan and he was always available to speak with. He spoke beautifully at our ceremony and we got so many compliments about him from all of our guests!

He was very collaborative as we worked through the plan for the ceremony -- both the first time and when we had to reschedule due to COVID. On the day of, Peter was on time and fully prepared. 2022-03-30Peter was the officiant for our wedding last summer. He was incredible! I found him through a google search looking for someone who was certified in New York and available on a relatively short turnaround. He was instrumental in helping us secure the permit for our wedding in Prospect Park, even though he normally doesn’t perform weddings there. He also took the time to get to know me and my fiancé (now husband). He worked with us to create a very personal wedding service and a beautiful ceremony. We booked one of his wedding packages, which included a photographer, a bouquet and a boutonnière, which took a lot of pressure off of our planning. Everything was lovely! So grateful to have him as part of our special day.
