I invited my mom to outback for her birthday. We were impressed with the portion sizes and the low prices. The food was even more tastier than the food that we usually buy at Applebees.My only advice is if you are ordering the blooming chicken, then dont order the blooming onion for your appetizer. Both the chicken and the onions have the same breading and sauce. So they dont work well if you are eating the chicken after the blooming onion.
My waiter Kevin was absolutely amazing. Super quick and always there when you needed him. Also the hostess Jamie did amazing too. Got me seated right away and made sure I had plenty of crayons for my kid! 11/10 recomend for anyone who loves a good southern steak
Our waitress Dara was amazing! So nice and welcoming, great at explaining things and helping us choose our order. She was fun and energetic and we couldn’t have asked for a better server
Our server Roxanna was amazing! Very friendly service and gave good opinions on the food. I never order appetizers but she helped my friend convince me to split a bloomin onion and now i am hooked! Will definitely be visiting this location again!
My husband and I went here on Friday night. After our original server got too busy, Alissa took over our table and served us. She was sweet, polite, and as quick as the kitchen would allow her.Thank you, Alissa!!!
6 of us went to Outback for my sister in laws Birthday lunch. Food was good, drinks were spot on.Our server Cassandra was amazing, patient and efficient. No issues, no mixup, just perfect.Hope we get her again.
We were sat at a table that was not thoroughly wiped down. There were sticky spots on the table from the prior guests. Also, there was an open straw wrapper as well on the table at the end of it from the prior guests as well. In addition, I was given not only 1, but 2 sets of partially dirty silverware. Luckily I had a burger/fries and didn’t need a knife and fork… but still. It’s not acceptable.
I have come to the Outback in Commack for over 15 years and I have never experienced the service like I have tonight! Daya was absolutely AMAZING! I came for dinner with my mother and special needs child and she never missed a beat to engage with my son and make him feel special. She was attentive and the absolute sweetest waitress I have ever encountered. She is an absolute 10 out of 10!
We had a lovely time and a wonderful meal at Outback on Saturday evening. Our exuberant server Dara added to our enjoyment. Dara was friendly, pleasant, and attentive throughout our meal. We are looking forward to dining at Outback again soon.
Would have given a 5-star rating but they were a little slow and seating us at a very unbusy hour however food was very good price was moderate to high. Our server Nina was excellent she was prompt and courteous I would definitely recommend and go back it might be my new spot since I live in Smithtown:-)
I love this outback! I had Nina tonight serving me and she was an absolute sweetheart and checked in on me constantly. The owner came over twice and addressed me by name both times to see how everything was! There’s a reason I come back here all the time! Cannot recommend this place enough. :)
Coming back to NY after moving out of state was made a little more special by enjoying a nice lunch with my grandson at Outback today. Our food was served by our very funny and kind waitress, Dara. Lunch was delicious too.
Dara was a very friendly and efficient server. She was always available for our party of 8. Will definitely be coming back and hope to see her again!!
Went to Outback in Commack with my daughter and Dara was our waitress. She checked up with us often to see if we needed anything, she was very attentive. It was a great dining experience.
Dara was one of the best waitresses I had in a long time. She was really nice and helpful. She was always making us laugh and making us have a good time.
We had an excellent visit. Our waitress Mary was outstanding. She is very personable, efficient , professiona and lcourteous. She anticipates our drink needs and checks on us the right number of times. The food was good as usual. We are a weekly patron.
The steaks and seafood were amazing and so were the drinks. The wallaby darned drink and the cherry limeade is so good. The only thing the mac & cheese was terrible and they dont have snow crab legs. Overall great service and good food. I will definitely be coming back.
The service was nice, but the food was simply average for too high a price. And inflation doesnt account for the now Long Island standard $4 cup of soda. Zark off with that noise.
I love this place and the food was so good. We ordered bloomin onions, outback style prime rib and chocolate thunder for dessert (which was my favorite 🤩) and they were all superb. Our waitress was also very nice and on point and was very accomodating to our needs. Overall, would love to recommend this place esp if you are a steak lover 😊

Oh Daya what a gem! Im taken back at the compassion this young lady has. She took care of my elderly mother and I who love the Ribeye, Daya went out her way to cut the steak for her! In the years of taking her out to eat, no ones done that. This was a wonderful dining experience. Great food but spectacular service!
I recently went to Commack Outback and sat with a lovely waitress named Daya. I had a long day, she recommended a wine and and appetizer that was a phenomenal pair. Out of all the waitresses my husband and I have had over the years, Daya was by far the most attentive, and insanely sweet. An absolute asset to any company she chooses to work for. We will definitely be returning weekly due to her services. Save us a seat!

I enjoy their French Onion soup and the Porterhouse Steak. There is plenty of parking, with handicapped spots as well. The bathrooms are very clean.
We just wanted to thank Joe our server for his excellent service and terrific sense of humor! I have food allergies and he made sure my dinner was safe. He works very hard and it’s greatly appreciated. Our steak dinners were delicious, the restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly and courteous. Looking forward to going back.
One of our favorite places to go! We have been coming here for decades ! All 6 of us have favorites! Chopped salad is mine. Waitress was very efficient and friendly. Not to thrilled about the limited new menu. My all time favorite Ahi Tina is gone 😞. I would live to see a few more healthy choice appetizers

When I was at outback I had a great meal and a great server named Roxanna. When we were seated Roxanna she was so kind and sweet I will definitely go back as long as Roxanna is our server.

2022-04-14Today I went to have lunch with my father and my sister and our server Dara L was phenomenal. She was super sweet and recommended us to try the maple butter which was so delicious with our bread that we were served. She was super polite and very attentive to our needs during our lunch. Thank you so much Dara for being such a sweetheart. You are such a great server.

2022-02-03Took mom to Commack, NY Outback for her 101st birthday. Our waitress,Sarah, was delightful! So friendly and the service was great! She told everyone about mom (who is quite amazing). George, the manager, and his entire staff came to sing and wish her well. The food as usual was great but the people made the night extra special!!! Thank you all.

Dara made my parents and I very comfortable in our dining experience and made sure we all got what we wanted even better than we anticipated. 2022-04-14My husband and I enjoyed our first time going to Outback. My sister gave us a gift card and it was worth it for our little date night. Adrianna was our waiter and since I’ve never been she recommended or advised me what food was good. She’s an excellent waiter! She was very sweet and checked up on us to make sure food was great and to refill our drinks! Overall good experience thanks to Adrianna and crew.

2022-04-10Food was great. Had to opt out of our favorite the blooming onion because they removed the smaller blooming petal option so that was the only drawback. Steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was fantastic. So cheerful and helpful. Good time!

2022-04-09Cassandra was the best waitress we have had in a long time anywhere. She was attentive and on point. She made our dinning experience very relaxed and enjoyable. We have locations closer but I don’t mind the half hour drive for the service she provides.

2022-05-10My wife and I went to the outback in Commack on 5/10/22 and everything was excellent. We haven’t been to an outback in years but we decided to go tonight and we’re glad we did. Our waiter Bobby was one of the best waiters we’ve ever had and we eat out often. He was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and very attentive to our table. I got the shrimp with a loaded baked potato and asparagus and my wife got the blooming onion burger. No complaints here.

2022-04-11I went to Outback for the first time. The food was great and the service was even better. A young lady named Nina was my server. She was prompt and courteous. She kept checking to make sure I had everything I needed. She even gave me a doggie bag to bring the leftover treats home to my 130 pound Bernese Mountain Dog.
