It was a room to sleep in. Nothing fancy. Small room, small bathroom, look outdated. My biggest concern is a safety issue. The way the beds are set up leaves a rod sticking out from under the bed. I trip over it. Being disabled already, it didnt quite work out too well for me. I did put my cane on the rod as a reminder that it was there. So be aware of that in case your bed is set up that way. Otherwise it was fine, a bed to sleep in.
It was good. Staff is nice and aprochabble. They can give you takeout and in dining food. Their food is good and they also have free toothpicks and mints for after your meal. There are indoor and outdoor seating. Its not a busy restaurant, but their food is amazing, as well as the service.
Took my mother and family to brunch for Mothers Day. What a terrible, disappointing decision. Glasses and coffee cups on the table were filthy, coffee grounds from previous diners. After 30 minutes we hadnt seen a server to get drinks. Salad table was completely picked over. Got up to the line to get food. No plates and empty bread baskets. Goofy manager happened to walk up and stared at empty bread basket. He stood there for 3 minutes trying to make jokes about it before he decided to get more. There wasnt any labels on any of the food. Didnt know if it was chicken or fish. Food was cold. Not one burner was lit under food. Roast beef from carving station was cold and all fat. We were all very disappointed. We never did get drinks. We finally flagged someone down. We explained the issues and left. Best decision was to leave and come to River Rock Diner.
Ive stayed here in the past and it has gone down hill over the years. On a Saturday night the bar was only open till 10?? Food was good! Cable service in rooms was SD and horrible(jump in the 21st century and get HD already). Room was clean. If youre tall, shower head will look you in the eyes so learn to crouch.
Actually, less than 1 star.VALENTINES DAY 2019WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE?I was more than excited when my husband surprised me with a reservation at the Treadway for 6:30 to celebrate Valentines DayA TOTAL WASTE OF $60.00We were greeted by a young guy with jeans and a baseball cap that was on backward. He was also our waiter, server and, from the quality of the food, possibly the cook.Shrimp bisque was made with a beef base and the Shrimp were cut up pieces of cocktail shrimp that were hard and cold.Frozen mixed veggies...coldMashed potatoes....warmPrime rib...overcooked and left over from who know when. Not even a placemat for our dinner plate.AND A POOL TABLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROOM.THIS WAS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PLACE WITH SO MUCH AMBIANCE AND CLASS.OH AND....WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THERE.AND NOW I KNOW WHYSO UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED.
My family went there today for Easter dinner. At 2:00 PM they had run out of roast beef. by 2:30 they had run out of ham, and the tray of bacon and eggs had been emptied. They had a total of four deserts on display (all the same). At $27/plate the buffet was a huge disappointment. We have been there several times for Mothers Day and Easter previously. We wont be back.
My family and I went to the Easter Buffet this afternoon. Food was cold, limited selection especially the deserts, had to wait a long time for certain foods to be refilled, and the prime rib was all fat! Definitely overpriced for what was served. Disappointed and wont be going back.
I was here for a job fair put on by Tioga county workforce. Over 100 employers were here all looking to employ. Something here for everyone and very hard not to walk away without an application at least. I myself had several on spot interviews, did a lot of networking, set an interview, and received a job offer. Well done Tioga. The best job fair I have ever encountered. Thanks to Red Roof staff for professional and courteous service also👍
We just went here for a quick drink. The bar was beautiful and their special drink was unique and delicious (names Purple Rain due to Princes passing). The bar was closing very earlier because it was slow, which would be dissapointing if you wanted to stay out later (was only 830).

2021-08-27The minute you walk into the hotel lobby you smell mildew. The carpet in our room was sticky and smelled like the room had been flooded by the river many times and not replaced. There were water bugs on the floor by the sliding glass door and in the bathroom. Everything felt wet the entire time and nothing dried in the room. This place is disgusting and needs to be torn down. I do not recommend this place for a dog let alone a human being.

2019-04-22Had reservations with 2 friends for 2pm. They were out if prime rib, ham was salty fish and chicken was dry. Potato salad was potato with plain mayo. Dessert was dry too. Never got any soup. Felt sorry for the waitress because she was awesome. Never going back there. Sadly, we were hoping to find a nice place to go for holiday meals. How do you run out of stuff when you have reservations? ....

2017-05-07Attended a conference here recently, the conference area was plenty big enough, and relatively easy to get around. All of the staff were helpful as well. I didnt stay overnight in the hotels nearby, I camped at the campground which was within walking distance. I did see the rooms of the hotels attached to the conference center, and they were nice, and affordable as well. The bar attached to the conference center is nicer than I expected as well.

2019-06-14This hotel had been taken over by another chain, but I forget the name. It was sufficient. Not very clean, not very safe ( doors/locks had issues), ice machine on ground floor was broken. Smoking receptacles placed right outside all doors to hotel, and there were many smoking staff who didnt give consideration to non smokers and children coming and going. I guess the pros are that they allow pets, they offer WiFi, free breakfast, and the staff are pleasant. Also, the ground floor rooms have a nice view/access to the river.

2017-11-15Brunch was good, they had a decent spread! They had mini waffles which were just adorable. Service was fine and we had a good time. The price on trip advisor (17 dollars) is wrong, though, the brunch is 18.95. Eggs Benedict were pretty good considering they were not made to order.

2017-06-12Just had our wedding in the Starfire room. New carpet was installed around a very large dance floor. Staff working our wedding were excellent! Very helpful and courteous. Our room captain, Doreen, did a great job making sure everything was setup exactly as we wanted it. Could not have asked for a better experience!

2017-01-29Stayed in a spacious double suite. Very comfortable beds and furnishings. Rooms were clean and in mostly good repair. Our refrigerator was not functioning properly and never got cold, but we were only there one night, so it wasnt a deal breaker.
