Sharon our agent did a wonderful job and we had an incredible trip to the South Pacific with Paicific Holidays. Everything worked out great and there were no problems at all with the itinerary Sharon put together for us. We added a few days here and there and upgraded some rooms as well. She was professional and we couldn’t have done any better (would’ve been a lot more expensive) had we booked this ourselves. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Pacific Holidays again in the future.
Please, please do not book through this company. I booked my honeymoon through here, and unfortunately everything was cancelled due to covid. I have spent months trying to at least get a partial refund for the $4500 we spent. I started this process in the summer and for months couldnt get anyone to even respond. It is now November and to date I have seen $485 returned....Pacific Holidays kept $1200 of my original charge as a cancellation fee despite the fact that a pandemic stopped me from traveling. Im still waiting on over $2200 dollars to be returned (6months after I started this process). When Pacific Holidays responds they say I have to be patient and wont do any further follow up. This company looked great on paper and was very attentive when they wanted our money to book, but now that they have been paid their cancelation fee they are not even remotely helpful. We are stuck with no honeymoon, no refund, dealing with a company that has been no help- disgraceful! I would highly recommend that you stay away from this company.
I wasn’t sure if I should book with this agency in the beginning since they offer independent tours and I’ve never traveled alone, I was looking for a guided tour but my coworker traveled with Pacific Holidays and recommended it to me. I checked out their website and found some good deals compared to other agencies. I tried calling and inquiring about the tours they offer, Marta helped me patiently and explained how the tour works to me, I finally booked with this company and started my first journey traveling alone. To my big surprise, their local representative picked me up and greeted me after I arrived in Tahiti, Gosh it is a breathtaking place to visit and I’m so happy that I chose this travel agency, they made sure that everything is under control and I enjoyed every second in Tahiti and Bora Bora. We have booked the Bali-Jakarta-Singapore trip for next year with the Pacific Holidays. Prices are really affordable and very excited for the vacation. Bryan Ruiz (Destination Specialist) has helped us through out all the bookings. He booked the airfare, transportation, hotel and other tours. He was very courteous, well organized, very knowledgable, and very cooperative. Once we gave him the date, he booked everything in less than 24 hours. He went above and beyond to find out special destination request and got back to us in very timely manner. We are very happy his customer service and looking forward for vacation.Thank you Bryan for all your help. We really appreciate it.
Went to Taiwan in October and it was fantastic trip. Way above my expectations.The itinerary was perfect, the price affordable, and the hotels were all five stars. Tour manager Eric was informative and funny, great person. Sharon was very helpful with all details and air arrangements.I highly recommend this trip.
We booked a trip to Tahiti, New Zealand and Australia through Pacific Holiday and Groupon. The agent at Pacific was Bryan Ruiz. Our trip was excellent!! We never used Pacific Holidays or Groupon before and were concerned. We do a lot of international travel but could not resist this offer. The goal is to visit all the continents and Australia was needed.The itinerary developed by Bryan and Pacific Holidays was first rate. Flights were great and well timed, Hotels were terrific, each had a great personal charm and every transfer got us to and from the APs and hotels.We will use Pacific Holidays again .Great job Bryan, Thank you
I have experienced the best customer service from Allyssa Molina of Pacific Holidays. She recently organized a trip to Australia and New Zealand for us and was above and beyond. All services were well organized from the moment we arrived in Sydney airport, to our hotels, tours and transfers - we had absolutely nothing to worry about! Just be there on time and our tour guide handled it all. I cannot recommend this company enough! They will be my go-to for future trips. BIG THANK YOU PACIFIC HOLIDAYS!!!
I booked a trip to Bali through Pacific Holidays. The experience was absolutely amazing. Tiffany was able to help me plan everything. She was able to rearrange my visit so I could go to locations I wanted. She was very prompt in her responses and answered my billion questions. I couldn’t recommend them enough. I hope to use them again in my future travels.
I usually take the time to search for a Company and write a review when I am very satisfied or extremely unhappy!Well with Pacific Holidays I was extremely UNHAPPY!I booked a trip with them for Dubai and Cairo in April 2019. I dealt with the supposed Travel Expert Bryan Ruiz. Everything was ok in the beginning (even though I had to call several times to remind him of several things). But after he got the money, thats it... you are no longer valuable as a client! I was treated with the most disrespect and disregard. We even got the phone hang up on us when trying to have them contact their own partner in Dubai who was supposed to pick us up.Their hotels are convenient for them, not you! They book hotels closer to the airports and not major attractions.Some of the partners they contract at the destinations are not up to par!Please trust me! Ive traveled all over the world with major companies like Gate1, Affordable World, Great Value Vacations, ect and never had such an unpleasant experience like I did with Bryan at Pacific Holidays!Stay away! The little money they are saving you is NOT worth the aggravation!IJ
We booked our honeymoon to Tahiti through Pacific Holidays. The agent was very knowledgeable, having been there and the prices were very good. Once we arrived in Tahiti everything was seamless. All our transfers, flights and hotel stays were well coordinated. Wonderful experience working with this company. Highly recommend it.
I would not book with this company. I had a trip cancelled due to COVID-19 and I have been unable to get even a partial refund from the company for the trip. I understand that some trip expenses may have already been paid for by the company, but I know not all were. I have reached out to the company multiple times by phone and email and no one will return my messages. I would not trust this company to help you if things go wrong since they will not even give me a reply.
We booked a scuba trip to Fakarava (an atoll in French Polynesia) and it was easy and cost efficient to go through Pacific Holidays. Petra was our agent and she kept in contact during the entire process and was able to answer all of our questions and arranged everything from our inter island flights to our scuba pick ups. The vendors used (Top Dive and Pearl Havaiki) were excellent and it was so easy not having to coordinate anything. We just packed our bags and enjoyed our vacation. I would not hesitate to use Pacific Holidays again when booking our next dive vacation.
Sharon at Pacific Holidays designed an excellent package for our trip to Malaysia! We were in Kuala Lumpur and Penang. She worked with our budget and arranged every detail perfectly. The private airport pickups and drop offs to and from the hotels were included in the price. Major detail! Very happy and will definitely recommend and book with her again.
Monroe Lin at Pacific Holidays planned a fantastic and memorable trip for my husband and me to travel to Tahiti, New Zealand and Australia. She arranged all the flights, hotels, and pickups to and from the airports and hotels. We were exhausted by the long flights (from Boston) and it was so helpful to have such a friendly and helpful man waiting for us in Tahiti to bring us to the ferry to Moorea. (Our only suggestion for other travelers is not to arrive in the early morning and not be allowed to check into the hotel until mid-afternoon. After more than 24 hours of traveling without sleep, we were desperate to go to sleep for a few hours so we could refresh ourselves enough to enjoy the gorgeous Moorea surroundings.) Otherwise- everything was perfect! Each hotel was perfectly located, clean and comfortable. Although breakfasts were not included, they were available and reasonable. Each country was incredibly beautiful and friendly. It was truly a vacation of a lifetime. Thank-you again Monroe!
I worked with Marta Vitsu at Pacific Holidays for my trip to Tahiti. i foubd her online when searching for dive trips to French Polynesia. The price she quoted me was about $1000 cheaper than any other travel site or agent I contacted. Marta returned all my calls promptlt.She is knowledgeable about GO and current on travel deals. All our ticket arrangements were spot in and we were met by transfer personnel at each stop and taken to our next hotel or transportation. There were no problems encountered on our trip.I would use her again in planning another trip to French Polynesia which I hope to do in the next few years.
Great Vacation but made us buy a extra ticket on the way home. I called in advance because my husband was traveling to India and was meeting me in Dubai and was informed that the tickets were issued so I couldnt get a discount on on way but they cancelled my husbands reservation all together. I had to buy a ticket at the airport so he could get home. Now my question about this is being dodged and my email ignored. Otherwise it would have been a great trip.
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this travel agency. We booked our trip to Nepal last year with Monroe, from flights to all land arrangements Monroe did a great job in coordinating point to point... we are satisfied for this trip. My wife was sick during the trip and cannot make it to the phokara river rafting, Monroe cancelled her river rafting and called hotel manager to make sure my wife is taken care of... i am very thankful.
I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Pacific Holidays, specifically Tiffany Wang. She was 100% communicative from the first time I reached out to you 10 months ago and unbelievably helpful. I travel quite a bit and have reached out to a few companies but not one of the travel agents I’ve worked with can compare to her outstanding service.
I just returned from a wonderful trip exploring Romania with Pacific Holidays. Romania is a very interesting and colorful destination and one, that I believe, will become more and more visited over the next few years. I am grateful for the wonderful experience and many thanks to our tour leader Marta who did a fabulous job! I cant wait to explore another beautiful part of the world with Pacific Holidays!
Bought a Groupon and traveled to Dubai and Maldives with my 2 kids 7 and 9 years old. My agent was Ruta. My experience was exceptional, we had the best time. Our transportation was arranged from the airport to the Savoy hotel in Dubai. At first I thought the neighborhood looked blah but once I got in the hotel the best experience of our lives began. The staff was amazing, the hotel was beautiful, the rooms were clean and the food was delicious. The hotel is located is the best spot, walking distance to the mall, the grocery store, the cheap sovereign store and the shopping center with Americian food (pizza hut, McDonalds). I felt safe walking around freely with my kids. We did a few tours arranged by Ruta and some I booked when we were in Dubai but with the same company used by Pacific Holidays and everything was flawless. Same great experience in beautiful Maldives. OMG, I wish I can afford to do this again. This is a trip we would never forget. Big shout out and thank you!!
They deserve ZERO stars. Booked a trip to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji on Groupon through this company and let me say DO NOT USE THEM.One of our flights that was CONFIRMED with them was incorrect!! We spent hours scrambling to find the new time AND had to call the two shuttle companies (departing and landing) to switch the times for pickup and drop off too!The customer service was not great. I had to send them reminders quite frequently asking for our confirmations and information and was freaking out very close to our trip when we did not have the information and travel times we needed.USE SOMEONE ELSE!!! Bad attitudes as well.
We took the trip to Tahiti, Moorea, Tikehau and Rangiroa and Monroe is our Sales agent. Me and my husband took this trip as our honeymoon and this is absolutely the best trip we have ever had. Monroe is extremely knowledgeable about the islands and gave us so many detailed tips on where to get pearls, oil shopping and what to bring for different islands. Tahiti is beyond beyond our expectation and breathtaking in all sites. it is our best trip and Monroe will be the only agent we will ever use for our future trips!!
We used Pacific Holidays to book our honeymoon to Moorea, Tekehau, and Rangiroa and it was an amazing experience. Petra was extremely responsive and we were happily surprised how customizable the trip was. Everything was communicated well and our trip went off without a hiccup. Will definitely use Pacific Holidays again!
I hated the accommodations. The agency wasnt willing to do anything after taking my money which is very frustrating. The agent , Monroe is unresponsive to emails & when you can finally track her down shes not helpful at all. I called several weeks before the trip to validate the hotel choice instead she left if opposite of what I requested which was small & in an unsafe/non-tourist area I would never use pacific holiday again. Nor will I recommend it to anyone. I will also be certain to make sure the world knows of my dissatisfaction on my process. In such a beautiful country I got stuck in the worst hotel they offer. My family members booked a trip with this agency for Bali and Singapore but it was cancelled due to COVID-19. The even purchased trip insurance and now Pacific Holidays will not refund them 100% what they paid for the trip. Not sure why travel insurance is recommended if it didn’t cover cancelled trips by the airline.
This was one of the best trips we have booked for quality and price Petras worked with us and communicated exceptionally well. The outings were awesome and kept us very busy. We would have NEVER been able to book everything for that price. The drivers were always on time and in good vehicles. Our accommodations were exceptional even a washer/dryer!! Thank you!!!
They got us to Bali and back in one piece!! No haste. Amazing response time! Super easy travels. Amazing prices. Tour guide was one of those most amazing inspirational, knowledgeable, loving, caring, and fun to be around guide. I’m not just saying this to give them a 5 star review and get something.. I get nothing out of this.. they did such an amazing user friendly experience I’m so lucky I had their help. 10/10 reffer them to pacific holidays!
Please whatever you do, do not use this travel agency. When I wanted to cancel due to terrorism threats and the pandemic in the countries I was traveling too. They would never answer their phones or emails. They were no help during the process and were completely unprofessional. I hate to leave negative comments about any business, but this is one to truly stay away from. I would hate for anyone else to have to go through what I am.
I would like to share my worst experience ever in my 35 years of life,and just to give an idea I have been over 37 different countries around the world from Oceania to Africa,to South America to Asia as well all Europe. The costumer service is the worst starting with Ling Monroe,she doesnt has a minimum of costumer service at all,we bought our ticket through Groupon under Pacific Holiday 9 months in advance prior our trip in September.Here are just some of the many problems we had with this company1)They changed the date of our departure and never called us,just an vague email2)Ling sent to us the wrong itinerary,and by the way the itinerary was just sentences,no explanation for each day or for the attractions3)when we arrived at Dubai,we were not in the list of the group,and the reason why was because the agency in Dubai went to pickup us a day before Monday and they were mad at us because supposedly we never called them,when the responsibility was from Pacific Holiday to contact them and not us.4)when we get at the hotel our name was not registered and still have not idea which are the real plan or itinerary for the next day,nobody knew anything at 10 PM Dubai time Tuesday night,just imagine the nightmare.5)the next day it was to go to Oman another country to the beach,and we have not clu about it,so we were not ready at all what to wear or use at that moment.Ps:dont to to that place,is about 12 hours attraction from 8 am to 10 pm,the worst attraction ever in my life just to spend 2 hours in the beach.6)we never had a tour of the city of Dubai during the all trip.7)Our last day our departure was a 2:10 am Tuesday,so we paid from our pocket for Monday to leave our luggage in the room,and to try to discovery more Dubai,well when we arrived Sunday at 11 PM at the lobby a guy was like crazy screaming at us,that we were going to miss our flight,cause according to them our flight was Monday at 2:10 am.At that point my limits was over,I told them that information was wrong,cause our trip is delay one day after due the cancellation of the previous departure day,guys this is was creazyyyyy.So finally a person called us next day Monday morning to confirm our pickup time at 11:45 cause our flight was at 3:00 am and not at :2:10.That night we were ready at the lobby waiting for the transportation,so in the meantime I had a curiosity with all these problems,got my iPad and checked the departure time to reconfirm the time guess what?? It was not at 3 am the flight,it was at 2:10 am in the morning an hour before,they also were wrong,so we had to pay a taxi to take us to the airport,and when we get there we were ones of the last passengers to make on time.My advise to all of you,dont trust in every travel agency,this problem has nothing to deal with groupon,is the Representative with very low costumer service experience,and also a huge lack of attention and comunicacion.I hope all our experiences will help you more in the future when is about traveling.Orlando and Jorge
BEWARE !!! This company will promise you the world and if you ever really talk to a person they have no idea what is going on. I took a trip to China in September to visit my son. The trip was poorly planned and we received NO documentation from the company in any way. I had to hunt them down to get transfer information, hotel info, driver info etc. We had a terrible time with two of the guides/drivers and were literally stranded in places in China due to this companys poor performance. I spoke with and emailed Jake Goodhart over and over and rarely ever a response. Once we returned I called to find out about them honoring their guarantee and commitment to customer service only to be blown off by Jake, who is one of the owners, or so I was told.Stay away from them and do not give them your credit card information. My trip was 5 months ago and I still do not have the refund they promised. I am dealing with VISA and the BBB there to get the matter resolved. BEWARE !!!
I wanted to take my time and CAREFULLY review my experience with Pacific Holidays. I would like to FOREWARN you that this is by far the WORST experience I have had with traveling. My friends and I bought the Dubai package and I dont even know where to begin on how HORRIBLE the service was from our travel agent Jake Goodhart. When I initially spoke with Jake I asked him if there was a way that we could purchase extra days. I emailed him 3 times asking him the same question to which he never responded. When I finally got him on the phone he stated that I should have asked him before he booked the trip -_- (which I did). I let that go ! He misspelled one of my friends names & stated that he would edit it. When I followed up on the matter he said he had done it, but we didnt receive a confirmation so we became worried. (mind you we bought this package 5 MONTHS before our departure date) It wasnt until 6 days BEFORE our departure that I called the airline & asked them if it had been changed & they said NO!! We were shocked!!! Jake was EXTREMELY HARD to get a hold of. He wouldnt return emails, wouldnt answer calls & always had an attitude when we asked questions as if we were bothering him. When we asked for the manager (HAILEY FLEMMING) she was just as bad!! I asked myself how is this company still operating. Jake gave us astronomical price quotes to change hotels, even though he had made a mistake with our hotel, (telling us we were staying at one hotel when we were actually staying at another) giving us 2 different names of 2 different hotels. Please, I am warning you DONT WORK WITH PACIFIC HOLIDAYS!!!!! JAKE GOODHART and HAILEY FLEMMING have the worst customer service!! We requested 4 star hotel stay in Thailand, Malaysia, Bali, Singapore for 2 weeks. They charge us almost $3300 for the above stay but what they gave us was only 21/2 - 3 star hotel all the way through to make extra profit. 1 of the hotel in Malaysia is so awful, carpet stained, smell and bathroom flooded if you take shower(no drainage system. someone told me that it was previously a jail converted to hotel? So upsetting). In addition, bed is so low to the ground(not normal). We have to move and incurred lots of expenses including upgrade of hotels(unable to contact due 15 hours time difference). We requested the refund for the expenses and upgrade as well as the refund for the over charge, they will not refund it. BEWAREIF YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
My husband and I went to the Galapagos islands with Pacific Holidays. We had no trouble getting a hold of them, had someone who spoke English meet us at the airport, drive us safely to a beautiful hotel, then went to the Galapogos on a small, older but very clean and hospital boat. We had a tremendous time with few hiccups along the way.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This is an extremely unethical company. People have lost thousands of dollars when booking trips with this company, and had their trips RUINED. This company needs to be shut down. Check the Better Business Bureau website. There used to be hundreds more complaints that seemed to have all disappeared on the BBB. Probably paid to have them removed. Marta Visu the manager and Jerry Chang the owner are very bad people. Destroying peoples trips and they dont care. Theyve done this to HUNDREDS of people. This company needs to be shut down.
I wish I didnt have to give this place any stars... I found this company through Groupon and contacted them directly with a few questions. I was met with hostility and unprofessionalism from the VP of the company. The VP, who happens to have a degree in hospitality according to their website. Really? Hospitality? I dont think so. Im SO GLAD that I had this experience now so that I didnt waste my money on a trip with them. If I could give them negative stars I would. They need to work on their customer service and their website could use some updating. BUYER BEWARE!
SO far I am experiencing a complete lack of professionalism with this place. Final travel documents are still not issued one week before travel and representatives are unresponsive. The one who booked my travel is on vacation so I have no idea when or if travel documents would be received. One would think that after spending thousands of dollars on a vacation getting confirmation that everything is booked would be simple.
A week before I was scheduled to leave, I still hadnt received any information. They forgot - they said when I called. Then when I got back, I emailed them about a problem with my trip. Again no reply. Called again. Got a reply that didnt answer me. Then emailed Customer Care. No reply.
These people never answer their phone. One time I actually got a live person rather than a machine, but as soon as I said, I have a problem..., he disappeared. And their website is non-responsive: I was unable to type anything into the Chat box, and when I pressed Travel Agent, nothing happened.

2022-07-07I’m only giving 1 star because I have to. I booked a trip through Pacific Holidays to Australia as part of my honeymoon and due to Covid it was delayed. Pacific Holidays refused to issue a refund, even though we don’t feel safe going. In addition to refusing a refund, they’ve increased the price over 100% of what I paid for the trip in the beginning. The customer service has been awful and when asking to speak to a supervisor, no one ever responded. I DON’T recommend using them. Just an awful experience.

2021-10-22We booked our honeymoon through Pacific Holidays in early spring of 2020 for travel after our wedding in August 2020. We did also purchased travel insurance through PH because COVID was just starting to rise. Unfortunately due to COVID, we had to postpone our reception and our honeymoon to 2021. We were finally able to visit French Polynesia in September and we had the most incredible time. It was the best trip we have ever taken, both due to the location itself and also the ease of travel. PH, specifically Ruta and Marta, were absolutely amazing in the entire planning and rescheduling process. They were knowledgable, professional, communicative, efficient, and kind. One of our original hotels also closed during this time and we made a few changes of our own. Ruta and Marta didnt bat an eye and made sure everything was perfect for us. They answered every question I had, and made every request I had happen. I would use PH again myself and I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in traveling to regions they cover. We couldnt be happier with how it all turned out!

2018-05-21I toured all around Romania in May with Pacific Holidays and I found them to be quite knowledgeable and friendly. Our guide Adrian was top-notch and you could ask him anything and he would have the answer. Romania is a rapidly developing country with wonderful sites to visit. Lots of history, and lots of unique experiences. Go soon, before the crowds come. Its wonderful!

2017-09-14My husband and I took a trip with Pacific Holidays and had a wonderful experience. Im so surprised to see these reviews! We felt comfortable before we left with the instructions, the price was fair, and we had no issues with communicating with their staff in NYC. It might have taken a couple of days to get an email response, but really no problems. Our trip was very well planned and we had a wonderful time. There was someone waiting for us at the airport, at each touch point. Accommodations were better than expected for a budget trip. We are planning on using this travel agency again soon.

2020-03-11This was our second time using Pacific Holidays and we’ve typically had a great time. We found the deals on Groupon then arranged everything through their offices. Everything was a smooth ride until we encountered a hiccup in one of our bookings. Bags were not added for one of our flights, and little did we know, that “Thai Lion Air” makes it very very tough to add bags after a flight is booked (just search it and you’ll see many call it a flat out scam). Upon contacting Sharon, our contact at Pacific Holidays (also CC’d their generic email address), we were COMPLETELY ignored and have yet to hear back. I understand it was the weekend when the issue occurred, but we didnt hear anything come the following Monday either.We spent almost a full day’s worth of work trying to get our bags added to the flight, and although we were aware of the fact that we would have to add some bags ourselves, we were not made aware of how difficult it would be with that particular airline. An option to add the bags when initially booking wouldve been nice. Instead, we ended up missing a lot of things we wanted to see in Thailand, because we had to deal with these hassles without any help whatsoever from Pacific Holidays. They are good to use as long as no issues present themselves, but when an issue arose, is when we needed them most, and they ghosted us. Their website chat was not an option either (see the photo)Jerry, thank you for the reply. Its sad that I had to write a review to get a response from your company. We rarely revisit a country weve vacationed to, and will just have to live with not seeing everything we wanted to whilst in Thailand. Adding bags to a flight should take 15 minutes, not almost a full-day. Sharons instructions simply did not work as bags can not be added through the website she provided. Hence my complaint, coupled with the lack of ANY reply to that situation until your reply to my review

2019-06-30This is our second time using Pacific Holidays, as always they are a vey professional tour operator and takes good care of clients. We arrived in Sydney and were picked up on time, after we checked in the hotel we requested to change to a room in a higher floor since my wife is a light sleeper, the front desk immediately helped us and we were treated like VIP. We had a great time in Sydney , Auckland and Fiji, the agent who booked our trip replied to our emails promptly even during our travels, we enjoyed the service and will refer this company to our families and friends.

2020-03-26STRANDED IN BALI! Please reconsider traveling with this company. Our first flight was cancelled and we found out through the app and had to notify Pacific Holidays to book a second flight. Shouldnt it be the other way around? Our second flight was never confirmed so we went to the airport thinking we would finally be on our way home only to learn that our flight was never confirmed, leaving us stranded in Bali! We would love to take any of the other flights back to San Francisco but Pacific Holidays wont book this for us. Singaport Airlines is no longer flying through Bali so unless we want to pay 2 grand in addition to the 2500 travel package we are stranded. During a pandemic. On my birthday.

2018-03-23We enjoyed our trip and would not hesitate to use Pacific Holidays again. Sharon was very responsive and communicated with us (as a group of 4) as individuals and collectively. The variety of excursions allowed us to experience and see Dubai in a way that we couldn’t have on our own. Furthermore, I really appreciated the coordination of pick ups and drop offs by the agencies Pacific Holidays works with.
