WORST VENUE AND CONCERT EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Came here for the Dreamcatcher concert, the ONLY good thing about this experience, but even for them I will NEVER go to this venue again. The staff was rude, the general admission/pit was WAY overcrowded, I was personally crushed the whole time and got really sick and my friend next to me had an anxiety attack and needed to be pulled out due to the crushing as well. I was so dehydrated, crushed, hot, i got extremely weak and almost passed out myself, and was still sick and weak the rest of the night and the next day. I have never been that stressed or sick in a concert pit EVER. They didnt use AC, the staff had to give out free water but even with that multiple people either passed out or had anxiety/panic attacks. If this was my only Dreamcatcher concert experience this tour I wouldve been severely disappointed.
I recently attended here to see loona. i had one experience with a staff member. she was extremely rude , disrespectful, ableist and racist. — your job is to protect the artist at the venue not yell at them, mock them, and say racist things. she also shoulder checked me and multiple when she was moving the barricade and exiting the floor to go to stage right.
I went there to see Dreamcatcher last night. The box office people were super nice when I went to ask them questions because I had VIP. The security people were all very friendly even tho it was a very long day and tried to help out as much as they can. The VIP view was absolutely great and highly recommend the balconys if you can get lucky enough to get a ticket. The reason I felt I needed to write the review is that I really think they need to look into better air conditioning. I super duper applaud the security and Dreamcatcher Company for giving out water to the fans in the pit. But it was impossibly hot and kept getting worse as the night went. It had been a sold out show since the first day the tickets went on sale. They knew it was a sold out show, but it was very very clear from everyone who worked at the venue, who was not part of the tour, that they had no idea about Kpop or what the show was gonna be like. It looks the 3rd person literally passing out before I saw a paramedic come check. The first two people who fainted - three overall throughout the concert - were taken out by security and I want to stress how AMAZING the security handled it and themselves. They acted quickly and efficiently and made sure to get the people help as soon as possible. Also, they, DCC, Dreamcatcher themselves all were very vigilant about making sure the crowd was okay and honestly that was the most heartwarming thing to see. Please please fix your air-conditioning. Your venue, your staff, your security and the artist you had play was amazing.
I’ve been to this venue when it was Nokia, Best Buy and PlayStation Theatres, for different bands/genres too. So attending my first show at Palladium, it was a Kpop show and extremely disorganized.People managing the line after doors opened didn’t care about people cutting. Had to tell 5 different groups that the back of the line was a block away and around the corner, but staff didn’t acknowledge or seem to care. The AC was turned off for the majority of the show and Dreamcatcher kept having to ask if everyone was alright, as fans were passing out around GA standing. After the show, staff once again had no idea how to direct the line or keep people moving either towards the exit or the Hi Wave event. One person said “to your left/right” when he really meant to HIS left/right. Crowded with people at a standstill and a friend of mine had to barrel through until we reached the entrance stairs.Staff needs way more training. And please stop being cheap with the AC in the middle of summer.
Leaving this review as a cautionary tale for K-pop fans/upcoming Loona show. A total of 8 people passed out because they took our waters at the door but then decided to hand out water at the BEGGING of Dreamcatcher. The girls even had to beg them to hand out their own personal water bottles (it was 80 degrees, hotter inside the venue.) Staff was very rude and when we got inside the venue there was no organization, everyone ran into the pit. There was also tons of people sneaking into the pit because security wasn’t careful. On top of that, they said for weeks prior to the show lightsticks would not be allowed in, but changed the rule a couple of days before leaving most of us attendees with no time to purchase it. (Typically venues sell the light stick as merch, but no, not here.) + Since the venue is in a popular area, the security was complaining about us lining up so early and told us not to sit, when they could have just let us into the venue early instead, or told everyone to leave and come back later. It was truly a mess. I had a good time still because I love Dreamcatcher, but I really hope this venue gets their stuff together.
If it’s an African Event!! Do not go!! This venue didn’t allow people in even if they had tickets! I came from Chicago and stayed at a hotel just to support the Ghanaian artists. I couldn’t even get in due to over capacity, greedy, and racist people. I hope and pray this place never makes any money! You never win when you play with ppl money! May God punish all of you!!!!!
The address of that whole block which the Palladium covers is a whole square block. The address is1515 Broadway. For a stroke survivor walking with a cane you might as well be walking a half mile. The building is covered with scaffolding. You cant see any markings on the building. When I arrived at the venue I asked for a wheel chair. I cant walk long distances.I spoke tov as an employee named Rachel. She gave me three answers that a few are not true and i think she made them up.The first answer was she didnt have any upstairs they are maybe stairs. They were neither upstairs or downstairs. Then she said the wheelchairs were for emergencies only. Then she said all the wheel chairs were being taken.I wanted to go to the bathroom and get some things at the concession. The employees were very nice helping me but if i had the wheel chair I would have to look for thr food and my credit card in the dark.Wheel chairs are for the elderly, and people with issues making it hard to walk They are not just for emergencies and there should not be a shortage. This theater has an elevator but this does not make this venue ada compliant. The employees need education on how to treat people with disabilities. On the whole the staff is great people who are sympathetic and very empathetic but need training in learning how to treat with disabilities.Ada laws say that all people should be able to enjoy the concert. The concert with Stone Temple was great but the drummer was an adstructed view.
I called to ask a question regarding if my child under 2 needs a ticket or not for a show. All I found on the website is that all ages can come unless it states otherwise. But most venues allow children under 2 for free. The person on the phone was rude in answering my question, simply said get a babysitter & hung up on me as I was about to ask for more information.
Called and kindly explained due to omicron at a 35% positive testing rate in NYC that we do not feel comfortable attending a show there this week. Was told my a VERY RUDE manager NO REFUNDS!He asked if I was vaccinated to which I said yes and he said well youll be fine youll just get a cold then. How dare he make that judgement knowing nothing about my life situation.I asked again if I could get a refund or even a credit, to which the answer was again NO! I let him know I would post on social media to which he said is that a threat? I have a right to let people know that the Palladium is not concerned with peoples comfort level with omicron and when asked if he was comfortable with people getting covid, his response was they will be fine it is just a cold. He and the Palladium are the threat to public health.I would steer clear of the Palladium Times Square if I were you. Terrible customer service and attitude towards public health. 35% testing positive for covid, but no refunds or credit. Shame on them.
A review was posted with a picture of a staff member and allege a SLUR was made mocking others. Since I raised her she was raised by LAW ENFORCEMENT therefore she has great morals and values. This frivolous post caused her a job she liked. You posted my childs picture and thats unacceptable. This place serves alcohol and lines get blured. That post was no review it was a attack on my child.
One of the staff members was really rude and unprofessional at the loona concert on august 19 2022. she insulted the members of loona by calling them a slur (r) and overall mocking them. she also did not want to give the crowd water which was really needed because it was packed, hot and uncomfortable. terrible experience with her.

2022-08-21Non compliance with ADA guidelines. ADA “seating section” was blocking the exit doors creating a fire hazard and staff handed out free waters to people in the pit on the lower floor but charged $5 to anyone in the pit on the upper floor. venue was hot, crowded, and well past occupancy capacity. staff did not care about artists safety and let people onto the stairs where two of the artists had come out just twenty minutes before. overall very unsafe and uncomfortable experience. their customer support phone service is terrible and provides little support at all. you can call and a staff will tell you to get a life or to just figure it out yourself. very unprofessional.

2022-08-21Staff were incredibly rude and not helpful whatsoever except for a very small select few. There is no air ventilation which is especially dangerous when it comes to concerts and people passing out. Due to an unorganized pathway throughout the building, people who waited in line for a good spot were most likely skipped. Staff were rude to the artist performing. What I see as the most dangerous is how we get into the pit area. People begin to bunch up by the doors and wait for them to open to run and get a good spot but for new goers, they might not realize there is a short flight of stairs and could trip/fall and potentially get trampled on. It is definitely dangerous to have us run in such large groups, especially when they’re two openings that the groups of people go through.

2022-08-17Very well organized from security to ushers. Even the very clean restrooms with 2,000 attendees went so quickly. Good sound system. Not a fan of the fold up chairs.

2022-03-19My new favorite venue! Close to Port Authority. Immaculate (including gorgeous spacy bathroom). Modern cushy places to sit and charge your phone. Roomy layout. Great Sound. The right size for mingling before and after shows. More importantly, the right size to feel apart of rock concerts even from seats. Respectful staff. (I even saw well trained security helping unruly crowd surfers doing so with care for their safety). Organized operations. Fair pricing of shows some times (though I realize they are not entirely in charge of that). I hope they book good bands consistently.

2022-05-13Really impressed with the staff at this venue. Had an issue because I purchased a ticket that was supposed to be in a seated VIP section but the touring company ( completely separate from the venue) decided they were going to block those seats off the day of the event. The rest of the concert was for general admission which doesn’t work well for me as I have certain health issues that make it hard for me to stand in a crowd. The venue staff couldn’t have been nicer and made accommodations for me to be seated somewhere even better than I originally bought a ticket for. The venue is also really clean and much bigger than I thought. I believe the security company that worked the show was hired from a separate company but they were all also very amazing and kind. Highly recommend

2022-05-21Spacious venue. The staff was really great. The drink prices were through the roof, there was a huge cockroach in the womens room and for a hot evening, they really couldve turned the AC up a little higher. Still, Id see another show there. Convenient to Grand Central.

2022-08-20The venue itself was OK if you arrived there hours early to get barricade. I attended the LOONA concert and the staff was nothing but disrespectful. The one star is for the one staff member who was kind and handed out waters consistently. The rest of the staff mocked the group as they were having an emotional moment and constantly complained. One staff member even called kpop sh*t while on the phone and refused to hand out waters. Later, during the HI-TOUCH event, all I received was nasty looks from the staff. They were evidently displeased and didn’t even try to hide it, instead they made rude comments out loud about how dumb it was. I knew I would have a bad experience with the venue from the start. Even when I called a day earlier to ask questions about the camping rules, they sounded frustrated and even told my friend “there are more important things in life”. As a venue, your job is to give the fans the best experience they can have, yet most fans left disappointed. Please do better and reevaluate your staff’s behavior. Thank you.

2022-02-18I was recently at the Palladium for a show in December and loved the sound & acoustics in the building. Easy access to multiples bars helped make a great evening even better. Security was very professional and excited about seeing more shows in 2022. Good luck to a great new venue in the heart of Times Square!

2022-05-01Matt no doubt has a gift and it was evident witnessing tonight’s show in NYC. Disappointed in paying over $1400 for 3 seats and flying across the country to see him in a show that lasted less then 2 hours. The majority of people who are going to the show already know his background and have already read his book, so him explaining those details took up an additional 30 minutes of the show time. Don’t pay the money for the “good seats”, if going in groups spread out and pay for cheep seats!

2022-08-20Only those who arrived at basically the crack of dawn were able to have the best view in GA. The lines leading into the venue were so chaotic. They moved us in groups without any supervision and told us to walk through the crowd of non concert-goers which led to many people who had just arrived to skip in front of many of us who had been there at 8 or slightly later. Almost no water was handed out when the AC wasnt working. Many of the staff inside the venue were very rude and unhelpful when answering us in our confusion. Many of them were yelling at us to move during the meet and greet but the lines were stagnant so we couldnt move forward.
