Excellent food and super nice service. This is hands down my favorite Latin restaurant because of the combination of quality, flavor, original recipes, service, and value for money. Interesting brunch options, I loved the pork and the chicken chilaquiles with mole. Their take out options during the COVID lockdown were amazing and Im so grateful to have had that option.
Our close friends are local and avid lovers of this spot, so naturally, it was our turn to join on their adventure. The owner is a gifted artisanal chef. His menu changes often and the offers are so impressive. He knows how to balance flavors with unique twists. We nearly ordered every appetizer on the menu, along with a pitcher of sangria. The entrees were delicious - the tuna entree substituted for swordfish was flavorful, the crispy chicken-styled entree was a high end twist to batter wings and the plantain coconut dish (first on the entree menu) was impressive in presentation - literally in a coconut shell- and in its flavor. I know I butchered the names on the menu... nevertheless, you cannot go wrong with ordering anything here. The friendly ambiance will nurture your food baby to good health by the time you leave. 5+ stars.
A must-try restaurant in Park Slope. The service was very prompt and all covid protocols were followed. The food was absolutely superb with all of the entrees really standing out. There’s a reason they’ve been in park slope for almost two decades, and it’s cause of their fantastic food! I’ll definitely be returning!
Mediocre at best. The food was not great but super expensive, and the service was really slow. My chicken tacos were ice cold, and when I let them know the waitress took them and brought them back after mircowaving them. We had to ask our waitress three times for the check and only after 25 minutes we got it. Same with the drinks, we waited around 15+ mins for those.Just not a great experience over all, really made my date night less fun because we were both annoyed with all of this.
I recommend making a reservation for brunch if you have 6 people or more. Luckily we only waited for 10 mins. They have tables outside on the sidewalk and the courtyard. A couple of tables inside. If you use a credit card, theres a small fee (stated on the menu), which Im surprised to see.So its $21 for all the brunch dishes, which comes with a choice of non alcoholic drinks. I ordered the pupusa dish and it was really good, but it was small. They give you two palm size pieces with beans, guacamole, and slaw. I was still hungry afterwards. My friends that ordered the egg dishes are filling. Another friend ordered the french toast and it was pretty big, but her husband got the fish and grits and that was really small. Also doesnt seem like theres a free refill for coffee since they never offered. So the conclusion is that my dish wasnt worth it, since I had to go somewhere else to fill up my poor stomach.
Food was good, however for a party of 20 the waiter shows off about his memory not writing the orders. And everything came wrong. Sauce, meat too much done and he kept blaming the kitchen and giving us free food. Not the kind of service one expects. They charge $1 extra for each credit card, great marketing.
The atmosphere was great, the staff was excellent and the wine absolutely wonderful. I had a great time during the wine pairing. We had 3 different dishes and dessert. I tried rabbit ravioli and it actually tasted good. The steak was to die for. Everything was perfect.
My cousins had their baby shower here. Soon as you walked in drinks where served to you. The food was great. The shower was from 12pm to 3pm. We had taken over the restaurant for the morning afternoon brunch session. They reopened at 5pm for dinner. The space is not that big. I would say about 16 people could be seat in the front of the restaurant and 26 people people could be seat in the back there is also a very small area of out door seating for maybe 6. There are 2 bathrooms. The staff is very patient, friendly and attentive. My family had a blast. I would totally going again for brunch.
I came here for an event, the atmosphere was very inviting and warm. Upon entering the restaurant the front section is small, however; as you make your way to the back of the restaurant you notice the beautiful space with exposed brick wall. The meal was great, it was served as family style with unlimited drinks. I would recommend this restaurant for your events or dining.
The front patio had a charming set up and the avocado appetizer was surprisingly very good for how simple it was. Unfortunately the entrees we got (steak and duck) were not well cooked and our waiter was not able to answer our questions about the dishes on the menu. The service was also very slow.
Great Food! Great Service, Great Prices 😁#1 We was greeted upon entry with a smile and service, #2 I was served by Green Hair Waitress Quickly and Smoothly, #3 The Food Was Great, #4 The Ambiance was Quaint and Rustic, #5 It Felt like Home...but it wasnt home 😎, #6 We Brought toddler with us without issue, #7 Wonderful changing table, #8 No Rush from Table #9 Waitress checked on us Enough but not too much which was perfect, #10 I will Be Back (Arnold voice)
This place was such an unexpected surprise. When you walk up it looks like you are going to eat in someones brownstone. It was too cold to sit in the garden but I will certainly come back in the summer to check it out. There were 4 of us - two ordered the tacos, one vegetarian ordered the hearts of palm salad and the other order the duck with mole. We were all very happy with our dishes. The handmade tortillas are amazing and my friend is still thinking about his duck dish. If you like a little spice, you must try the house-made hot sauce. I still might go back and buy a bottle, it was that good.
Weve been many times and the owner is a parent at our sons school (hes a really nice guy). Anyway, this was our first indoor meal since the pandemic began 12 months ago. I couldnt think of a nicer way to celebrate my birthday. I honestly dont think you can go wrong on their menu - the salads, tacos, and mains are all fantastic. My only regret is not trying dessert, as I had birthday cake waiting for me at home...
Overall disappointed. Apps were pretty good (ceviche and gezpacho). Entrees mixed -- skirt steak very chewy, but fried chicken was great. Desserts also mixed -- strawberry crisp was ok but coconut tres leche was pretty dry and lacking flavor. The service was also pretty slow with a long gap between dinner and check where we waited maybe 20 minutes until someone checked on us.
Brunch was AMAZING. I added the bottomless booze. We had the coconut pancakes, fish tacos and steak and eggs. All were delicious and seasoned to perfection. Full of flavor and quality ingredients. I do wish the fish tacos were bigger, or at least had an additional side with it. Service was good and polite. Loved it
Palo Santo is an awesome spot to have in the neighborhood! Its unpretentious and unique with some really delicious options. We went for NYE and got the prix fixe which was really substantial and super affordable. The waiter definitely got slammed with takeout orders and tables, but we still felt like the service was friendly and the food was really tasty. Definitely a cute and vibey spot that doesnt feel overrun by trend-seekers.
I went last night with my mother because she’s staying down the street at the holiday inn and we wanted to grab a bite in the neighborhood. On first arrival it’s very homey and comfortable, like if you needed somewhere warm to sit after a long journey this is where I’d come.My mom and I just shared a few plates, the quesadilla, kale salad and then the fried chicken with yucca. All of them were delicious and filling. Quesadilla is an appetizer but pretty big for the portion. Fried chicken was tasty and perfectly crisped.Got the strawberry crisp for dessert and was 100% satisfied with my choice. The waiter gave me his recommendation and I was very happy about it. He was also very kind I wish I got his name he was so sweet!!!
If you’ve never dined at Palo Santo, treat yourself today. It’s a 5-star experience, everything from the quality and originality of the food, to the genuine hospitality, and the charming location. But, bring your appetite — the menu might seem like another “small plate” prix fixe experience, but you’ll leave incredibly satisfied.
Do NOT come here on a weekday. The service is verrrry very slow - the waiter did not come to check on us at all during the meal and we had to specially grab his attention all throughout the night. When our friend arrived and wanted to order a drink, he did not come to our table for atleast 30 minutes. When we paid the check, he never came to pick it up and we had to ask a busboy to help us check out. Food was good but a bit bland - quesadilla lacking flavor and had to ask for hot sauce on the side to help liven it up. Their brunch is a lot better.
Often brunch is good, but kind of a letdown. This brunch, on the other hand, was delicious and offered unique Pan-Latin dishes. We did the bottomless mimosas and sangria with friends and never felt rushed by our waitress. Great service and delicious food in a cozy space.
The place is amazing for large parties. We had our wedding in the back room and it was perfect. The service was above and beyond , they handed guest drinks as they came in and kept the drinks coming all night long. The food was beyond, and they even made a plate for our photographer. The atmosphere is great and they even allow access to the backyard which was great for photos. 100% a hidden gem!
Great food, really nice staff. I love to sit at the bar - you can see the chefs cooking and the heat from the kitchen doesnt really affect you.Theres not really anything bad on the menu except for the stew that comes in far too small of a portion for what you pay for.Its so simple but delicious, get the avocado and fresh tortillas - they are simply amazing.During the summer theyll occasionally have spicy sangria. I love it!
Such great food. Blown away by the coconut plantain stew. The quesadilla was phenomenal.Insane value, actually. Fine dining quality food, and for only 30 dollars a pop.We got the prix fixe dinner for 2 - quarantine date - night - and were so happy with our meal. We even had enough for tomorrowslunch - so dont worry about the portion.Honestly, I have no idea why they are charging so little. That could have easily been 100 dollars and would be totally reasonable even at that price.Thank you for staying open during the pandemic, I truly appreciate it. Very friendly staff, and the food is an easy 5/5.
Got the fish tacos and the steak with the chimichurri. Food was delicious!! Definitely recommend these these options! The fish was fried perfectly and it comes with fresh guacamole in the tacos. The chimichurri sauce was so good with the steak and the potatos! Cant wait to come back :)
Had my baby shower in the private room last week. Everything was phenomenal. The staff were so accommodating and even the guests commented on how nice everyone was. Gonzalo is a sweetheart and always willing to help. Everyone also commented on how yummy the food was. Highly recommend the back room for any event where you have between 25-35 guests. (I had 28 guests and was still able to set up my big dessert table by the window where I wanted)
Fantastic place. Food is out of this world. Staff is kind, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure that we felt at home. My wife and I liked them so much we had them cater our wedding and I am so glad we did. They were were prompt, the food was delicious, the price was unbeatable, and they even laid out everything for us to take home at the end. You cant go wrong with Palo Santo.
This place exceeded expectations. The food was very tasty, and the location is welcoming. The staff also was super helpful and nice. We had the grass-fed skirt steak and the slow cooked pork. Both were excellent, but the slow cooked pork was just wonderful in every way. Will be back!
Nice outdoor atmosphere, but service is very slow. We waited around 40 minutes for eggs;( eggs were cooked with an eggshell.Waiter did not bring us water. We had to ask them to bring water or food utensils. He didn’t come to check on us at all.I don’t recommend this place.
Food was phenomenal. Been wanting to come here for years and Im glad I did! The drinks were especially delicious and creative too! Very clean service area. Wait staff were accommodating and attentive but not overbearing which is a hard balance to maintain and they executed their duties perfectly! Would definitely returnNot a good place to go when its cold outside since its very drafty and we were seated literally next to the door so every time it opened, I got blasted by the cold. It honestly isnt a good place to put a table... at least in the winter
We found Palo Santo while googling taco bar catering for our wedding and it was the cutest restaurant with the best deal we could find. The wedding was last weekend and I just had to say that everyone was blown away by the quality and service. The tacos were delicious (even the vegan option), came with an abundance of sides and toppings, and the on site pressed tortillas made the experience unique and super fresh. Everyone had plenty to eat and we had so many compliments on the food. We will definitely be going out of our way to visit the restaurant often!
We had a wedding rehearsal luncheon for 30 people. The room at the back is a great space for such event - it was comfortable and private. The food was excellent - great Latin flavors. Gonzalo and the rest of the staff took great care of us and everyone had wonderful time. We definitely will be back.
We had our daughters first birthday party at Palo Santo last weekend and it was great! The guests loved the food, the ambience and them allowing us to decorate the place! Gonzalo and team were very accommodating when we dropped the cake off before hand and when we wanted to change up the style of how we wanted the food served. Highly recommended for parties of 20-25 people.
You can close your eyes and point at ANY ITEM ON THE MENU - DELICIOUS. if you are vegetarian there will be some options (YAM - I am). None for vegan. All that cheese you know... Beers, wines and mimosas. ALSO bottomless mimosas for $15 on weekends till 3pm. Best spot.
Came here for NYE dinner and the service was great and the food was AMAZING. We even ordered late because a couple of us arrived late and although they needed the table for the next reservation, they got our food to us fast and figured out a way to let us stay at the table without making us rush. Best key lime pie and bread pudding Ive ever had
Fun place with slow but amazingly friendly and thoughtful service. We came here for a bachelorette brunch on a Saturday and they were gracious and flexible when we had two people not show up for our larger reservation. We ordered a bunch of drinks including coffee (decent), mimosas (pretty good) as well as a nice array of their brunch items such as the french toast (fluffy and sweet), the pork hash and eggs (delicious -- the slaw added a real freshness to the fatty, gooey dish), and the chilaquiles (yummy but could be spicier). Since our entrees took a good while to come out, they also offered us a champagne toast, an avocado ceviche on the house, and several desserts to round out the meal. Come here and expect awesome service, and although you might be waiting a while for your actual food its such a fun and delicious time you probably wont notice!(Value is great as well: $200 post tax and tip for 7 people with entrees and multiple drinks.)
Wonderful intimate space with excellent food and outstanding service. Held a bridal shower brunch here and had a really great experience all around. They couldnt have done anything more to exceed our expectations. Highly recommend dining here and absolutely recommend considering them for your next organized event! Special thank you to Gonzalo and his friendly staff for accommodating us like family
Super nice reourpised house the middle of a housing block now serving as Latin restaurant. Dominican influences, Mexican. But unlike many other fusion type restaurants this is done very (very) proper. Limited menu that seems to rotate frequently. Shared a dish with pulled beef in a charred plantain with rice and beans and a water melon salad. Great service. Id come back.
Sometimes when restaurants have so many glowing reviews you risk dissappointment because your expectations are so high. But sometimes, like in the case of Palo Santo, those expectations are more than met.My friend and I had dinner here on Tuesday evening and everything about the experience was lovely. I made a reservation because I know it’s a smaller restaurant (especially when it’s too cold to make use of their outdoor seating) but I believe we wouldn’t have had a problem even if we just walked in, as there were tables available (but it *was* early on a Tuesday). The restaurant is small and warm and inviting. The service was really good & the staff was also genuine and warm and kind. They have a great happy hour option of a free empanada (or taco) with purchase of an alcoholic drink. My friend ordered a sparkling wine & opted for the beef empanda. I don’t drink, however our server brought me their potato and cheese empanda anyway so we could try both. It was hot and crisp delicious.[Plus their happy hour runs from 6-10pm (M-Th) which is really generous]I ordered a hearts of palm salad, with avocado pistachios cilantro & mango. It was light and tart and delicious. The portion was also huge. My friend and I shared it & still had enough leftover for both of us to take some home. For my entree I had the fish tacos which were simple and delicous as well. A touch on the saltier side, but nothing that turned me off them.My friend opted for the steak, which was another generous portion. They enjoyed it & I now wish I had tried a bite.Everyone raves about two things at Palo Santo, the homemade tortillas and the homemade hot sauce. Both were stellar and definitely lived up to the hype.I’d be happy eating both any time.I had a great evening (with great company whichalways helps too) and will definitely return!
It’s literally in a brownstone basement unit. It’s such a cool setting. We had brunch; all four of us had different dishes. A few had the prix fixe menu. The coffee is surprisingly good. It came with steamed whole milk and raw sugar on the side. The dishes themselves were all a hit. My wife had the egg sandwich and I had the Chilaquiles de Pollo. Both were amazing.
Tasting menu was amazing! The food was amazing and the ambiance was great! Service was a tad slow but if you waved the down they were more than accomodating. Back room is a little cold in the winter but I bet it is enchanting in the summer. Definitely will go back for another special occasion.
Went to Palo Santo last night for a New Years dinner. Arrived hungry around 9:00 pm, left hungry shortly after 12:00 am. Ended up paying around $150 for dinner and portions were laughably small, to the point it felt like a slap in the face. We kept wondering when we’d be receiving anything at all resembling a decent portion, as depicted on the restaurant’s website - sadly, it never came. I’ve done tasting menus before, and never have I left this hungry or this unsatisfied.
I came here for Sunday brunch with a couple of friends. Its a super cute little place, nestled in between the buildings. They have one table and a couple of chairs outside- the inside is a little dark, but its big and doesnt feel cramped. The decor is cute! and I love wooden tables and chairs, which is what they have. They also have glittery skull lamps in the window which are cool.I tried the Prix Fixe which comes with tea/coffee or mimosa/bloody and I had the Huevos Bañados. I highly recommend this, comes on texas toast and all the yummy sauce gets into the bread making it amazing. I will say that the food took time to come to the table, but the service was good, and quick. You get free refills on the coffee and an extra mimosa is $1- great deal!I will be back for sure
We recently had Palo Santo cater our wedding at The Green Building. Not only were the tacos AMAZING (they made the tortillas fresh on site) but the staff was also so nice and attentive. Gonzalo was a dream to work with leading up to the event and accommodated all of our requests. I can’t recommend Palo Santo enough for your next event!
We came here to celebrate my MILs birthday. The ambience in the back was nice until more people started coming in. It became quite loud and difficult to keep a conversation between the 9 of us. Also, it was a bit cold in the back, my kids didnt take their coats off. The food was very slow to come, small portions, but tated good but nothing amazing, so be sure to plan accordingly if you are really hungry. Typically with outings like this we end up bringing food home but this time there wasnt one morsel left. Id be on the fence about coming back here again. Perhaps in a much smaller party.
Went for dinner on a Saturday with my wife. Place was fairly full but not crowded. Took a very long time to get approached by our server, then a very long time between courses and dessert. Not sure if they were understaffed tonight or its a sign of the deterioration of an otherwise great restaurant. The food was very good but with the poor service and very long wait, I dont think well be back.
Love this quaint spot! The food was hot & tasty! Best hot sauce I’ve had in a long time. I wish I would have inquired about purchasing some to go!The only down fall for me was that they don’t have milk alternatives. Only cow’s milk. I’m allergic.Otherwise, I’m craving to go back!
Its *very* hard to find something bad to say about Palo Santo. Its located in the bottom floor of a brownstone which by itself is pretty cool. Great ambiance, big space in back, very romantic and dimly lit with a rustic Latin vibe. Had tons of fun here both on a date and with a small group of friends. The food is more adventurous, experimental, and different than most other restaurants in the Slope so do yourself a favor and look at the menu before you go to see if it suits your appetite. They have a single table for the outdoor seating in their uber small backyard, but for what it is its done extremely well.
This was one of my go to places and I used to visit once a month but something was amiss the last couple of times I visited. Im aware of the dynamic nature of the menu but the food just wasnt on par with what I was used to. Perhaps a new chef or kitchen staff? Either way the ambiance is still top notch as is the wait staff. I still recommend choosing from the prix fixe options if its your first time.
I find I enjoy the simpler items on the menu more -- conch chowder, beans and rice, and other simple dishes seems to have wonderfully complex flavors. Plus, theyre quite a bit more of a bargain than the larger cuts of meat. Brunch is fantastic. If youre splurging, go for the 15-course tasting menu (youll have to sit at the bar). A few years ago it was an incredible bargain and even better experience at $50 (plus $40 wine pairings). Overall a great restaurant and Id argue that it is closer to $$ than the $$$ that the magazine lists.Im surprised at the comments about service, as Ive eaten here about a half-dozen times over the years and the chef/owner has been nothing but wonderfully friendly. Hope those incidents were just flukes or misunderstandings.
I’ve been try to explore the culinary establishments of Brooklyn and Park Slope neighborhood. Along to streets of tacos. We went here for Sunday Brunch. The interior is quaint with wood and comfortable and plenty of locals. The host was friendly as was the server. The brunch menu was limited but enough selection to make everyone happy. We had the Bluefish Ceviche, Papaya salad and the egg/bacon sandwich. The ceviche was quite good. Great flavors and the papaya was firm and sweet with the slightly spicy watercrest. The egg/bacon sandwich was what it was but equally as good served with yucca fries and spicy mayo dipping sauce. We certainly enjoy the meal and looking at the dinner menu, it looked just as good. But the let down was for the price and amount it left us wanting a little bit more in way of portions.
This is the second time I visit this restaurant. The first time I thought the food was just ok, but the service was terrible. At my spouses insistence, we went back yesterday. The service was terrible beyond belief. We were sat at a table near the door, and then asked to move to another table to accommodate other patrons. We agreed and were generously offered a glass of sparkling sangria. We placed our order and waited for 50 minutes. During that wait time, we didnt get utensils or dishes. When we asked our waiter why we werent getting utensils, he sneered. When we called the maitre to ask about our food, we were invited to leave if we couldnt be patient. We were very polite about the whole thing and left.Must say, why come to this restaurant to be mistreated? There are many good restaurants in Park Slope with better service.
This past October, my parents planned a baby shower for my better half in the back room of Palo Santo and every guest was amazed with the level of professionalism, care, cuisine and great service provided by the staff. Gonzalo is a gem and so is every aspect of this restaurant. We will be coming back for more delicious pulled pork sandwiches, the plantain stew and a welcoming smile from the staff. Yum, yum
Palo Santo hosted an anniversary celebration in the back room. Staff did an excellent job. Food on a fixed menu was good. Pupusas were probably the best dish, but we only tasted that because one of us found some wire from a Brillo pad in her food and the staff comped us. Chicken and pork were just all right. Beans and avo to start were tasty. Ask for their house hot sauce - its excellent.
Very small portions of food for a pricey cost. I would not recommend you to go there if you hungry .After paying a $170 plus tax for 2 skirt steak order wich had 6 small pieces of the steak and price fix wich I had a banana stew.Food was good But the price is way to high for such a small portion.Ps:The sangria taste like fruit punch no alcohol at all and had lot of old apples (you can tell when they fresh)and too much ice.
Not far from heavenOne might think you died when youre here. It is too good to be true. $31 for brunch and bottomless mimosas? This isnt Witchita, NB, this is NYC. And they dont dilute the mimosa with OJ. These are proper drinks. Food is amazing and the space is super chill. Im about to be a local and I live 30 minutes away.
I was fortunate to find this hidden gem in Park Slope. I was looking for an intimate space for my July wedding and came across Palo Santo! I noticed on their website the opportunity to rent half the space or the entire venue. The pictures of palo santo on their website do not do any justice compared to visiting the space. I felt in love with the intimate feel of the brick wall and the nostalgic pieces hung around the venue. The space transforms from the day to a bright open space with the natural lighting and at night the lights are dim to give a romantic feel. The food is adjusted on a daily basis. You cannot go wrong with any item on the menu.It has been nearly a year since my wedding and our friends and family are still mentioning how memorable the food, service and the environment was. I highly recommend Palo Santo for any events or simply to enjoy a great meal.
Really nice restaurant experience. Its a nice cosy spot, and it really captures the vibe of an authentic latin restaurant. The food was excellent and I really liked that they had a prix fix option for $33 which include a starter, main and desert. Not all mains were included but this was still reasonable value.I would really recommend this place for a sit down meal when you are not in a rush, it has a relaxing atmosphere and time passes by fast.
Palo Santo is a quaint taco restaurant with wooden chairs and tables, funky hardware for the door handles, and an old fashioned pedal-operated sink in the bathroom. Stick to the regular tacos such as the beef, pork and chicken. They have others like cactus, but it was not popular with my group. Beer is served in pitchers as well. Attentive waitstaff, save room for dessert.
Fantastic ingredients, terrible service. Best known for use of local, sustainably-raised in-season ingredients. The chef doesnt use anything processed at all- he uses animal fat from pastured animals for cooking and makes his own stocks and tortillas! Very unusual in the restaurant business. Unfortunately this restaurant is almost always understaffed, leading to a harried and frustrating dining experience.
Delicious brunch!! With all the options available in Park Slope this was a surprising find. The food was traditional brunch items with Spanish flavors. From Pina Colada French Toast to an Avocado and cheese omlette, it was all so yummy. Entrees come with sangria or mimosa and if you want a second, its just $1. The best deal in BK!
This is the type of food that New Yorkers love. Its well made, in a comfortable atmosphere, and completely overpriced. My girlfriend and I ordered the ceviche and each got two small bites of soupy fish and few sprigs of celantro for $14. This was, by far, the most expensive ceviche Ive ever eaten, and no where near the best. Ive never had my ceviche swimming in the marinade sauce, which was probably supposed to fill-out the dish and make it look larger. It was really pathetic. If you want to get some great food for a good price, this is a poor choice.
Palo Santo has something for everyone, from Latin-twists on comfort food to more adventurous choices like rabbit. They put a lot of care into making food from scratch here, whipping cream by hand, toasting spices for 2 days for mole, chopping herbs by hand for chimichurri, etc. A great gem for the neighborhood.

2022-04-16Fantastic place: great design, inner yard, some tables right outside of the restaurant. Really nice setup: a fixed price for three meal dinner (choose anything). The music was pleasant and not very loud. Fast service.

2022-02-10Amazingly delicious food. Service was spectacular as well. The yellow tuna was a bit over done and the flank steak was a chewy. Would suggest getting the steak medium or medium well. The flavors and the ambiance make for a dining great existence. 10/10 would recommend.

2022-03-03Went to a birthday brunch catered. Small restaurant but definitely worth checking out. The sangria was delish. Every entree served was very good. My favorite was the shrimp. The staff was friendly. No complaints!

2021-08-25The outdoor patio is very cute. The food was great but the service was a bit slow and there were a few mixups with food and bills. We had the avocado dish which was simple but very delicious. I had the heart of palms as my main and it was wonderful. I was disappointed with the sangria, the portion was tiny.

2022-03-08I celebrated my 30th birthday in brunch style on 02/26 and I genuinely enjoyed every single minute at this restaurant! The waiters were super pleasant and helpful, shout out to Max and Gonzalo! Planning my birthday brunch was super easy; I chose the entrees and sides from the online menu and scheduled ahead of time for my desired date. I would have like for the unlimited drinks to be stronger 🤪 but the drinks and food were delicious! Because of the restaurants ambiance and decor, you really do not need to decorate the place. Overall my family, friends, and I really enjoyed ourselves. I definitely recommend this restaurant as a place to celebrate your special events!!

2022-01-24The staff was so accommodating, the food was delicious and the vibes were immaculate. Loved our time here. The pulpo app and the corn flake fried chicken were our favorites. Great restaurant week experience. Thanks Palo Santo! ♥️ Can’t wait to come back soon.

2022-04-11We had a wonderful experience with Palo Santo and the events/catering team. I rented the back room for a larger birthday party, and Jacques on the team was very communicative and helpful during the entire process. The menu provided a ton of amazing options, and the 3 course menu +drinks provided plenty of food for everyone. When we had to reschedule last minute due to covid, the team was flexible and incredibly helpful to find another date that worked. The food itself was perfect: incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked and so good that it kept a group of 14 people silent for an unnatural amount of time while they ate. I definitely recommend the braised boar, black bean soup and tostados! The cherry on top was the staff. Our waitress and point of contact Joan was so attentive and helpful, and made sure no one had an empty drink. Everyone was so friendly and kind and Im so glad I was able to have my birthday here. I will definitely be back again soon!

2022-04-23Very lovely, intimate setting and their prix fixe menu pricing is incredibly reasonable ($46 for an app, entree, and dessert). Incredibly nice staff as well! The food is overseasoned a bit (anticuchos and Baja fish tacos). Makes it seem like they tried a little too hard to make the dishes interesting instead of just letting the flavors speak for themselves.
