Panda Express in other cities:
The laziest and most incompetent group of people I’ve ever met. This location is never busy yet they never have any of the popular dishes prepared. The guy in the back makes cooking chicken as complicated as heart surgery and the girls working on the line and at the register don’t have two licks of sense themselves
First time ordering from Panda Express in general so I ordered through UberEats because I know driving and parking in that area is a headache. The food was actually good, I can’t give it 5 stars because I’ve had better from different types of Asian Cuisine locations. The Orange Chicken was the best part of the plate to me than the Teriyaki Chicken. I had a side of Beef Broccoli and that part had an uneasy taste compared to other locations that serve beef and broccoli.
Male manager is SUPER nasty. My order came 2/3 full-I kid you not, when I called to let them know the male manager informed me that’s “how they do things at Panda Express bc they use a scooper so the size of the box doesn’t matter”. Clearly he tried to cover his staffs mistake. He let me know I could call corporate if I had a issue with it. The most disgusting customer service I ever received. Food was also cold and soggy -$20 wasted
Homeless people eating in there or asking you to buy them food yet they still ask for vaccine cards even though the governor lifted that mandate. This place has gotten ratchet since the lockdown everything from the hood was in there acting ghetto demanding to be served instead of waiting in line being rude to the workers but they handled it well.
Friendly greeting upon entry.Nice range of choices. Prices reasonable. Food could be better. Noodles were oily and I suspect not cooked with groundnut oil. Noodles were very al dente. The teriyaki chicken lacked flavour. The orange chicken however was tasty.Im somewhat disappointed because though it looked tasty, it lacked that authentic flavour.
Dine in is fair but the workers in this place are kind and they work very very HARD. Good service , considering there are very long lines. They are beautifully organized. The food was very good. And.....if you have an issue, please speak respectfully, they are worthy of it:).
The food is good but every time I go, the workers have the worst attitude. I’m always stared down and sized up while I’m ordering and it’s also like I’m inconveniencing them. They also don’t seem to not like each other either and it shows in the service. I know that they are probably under a lot of stress, given that the lines are long, but I don’t go there looking for a fight or a challenge. I just want some fast food.
Ordered food for a gathering and I can say that the location of the Panda Express is very convenient and located in the center of Downtown Brooklyn. The food is exceptional and has excellent combo of flavors. The firecracker chicken is my favorite and would recommend to anyone to try. The menu is filled with great foods and well recommended.
I had called twice because I had left an item at the store a while shelf to hang in a room the 1st time to say that I would be there around 7 and the second time to notify that something came up (work related that I would be there between 9pm and 9:30pm) I was under the assumption that there would be communication between the person to picked up the phone and the rest of the staff. That was not the case it was thrown out and someone had walked off with it. I will no longer patronize an establishment that doesnt communicate with its employees. When I was inside the excuse I was given was that it was just sitting there despite them acknowledging that I had in fact called ahead of time.
Im giving it two stars because the honey walnut shrimp and honey sesame chicken breast are okay and the proportions and value are reasonable, but overall I was not impressed. There are a huge number of Chinese restaurants in the City and Panda Express is not *that* much cheaper than them (unlike other fast food restaurants), but the quality is sorely lacking compared even the average Chinese place in the city. The white rice was undercooked, the orange chicken wasnt flavorful enough, and even the entrees that I thought were okay werent particularly well-executed. Service was fine. Overall, not recommended since you can find better places in every neighborhood in the city.
The one at nostrand Ave and flatbush is the worst. The ladies are extremely rude AMD disrespectful. They failed to help my dad who has a vision issue. He asked for them to tell him the different chicken they had and she said he must read. Im not going to let this rest. I will be posting this on all social media. My podcast and my blog. Peace
My slice of better Chinese food. A bit on the expensive side especially if you eat the amount of food I do but overall a great spot to catch a quick bite. I typically go to the location at Flatbush avenue near Brooklyn college and the staff are really hospitable. Ive even gotten discounts here because of the amount of times I eat there on a regular basis during prep. Its in a busy area therefore if thats not your ideal situation this restaurant and the neighboring ones might not be for you. Furthermore there are peak times like 12pm and 6 due to high traffic from children and students.
The food was fantastic but the service was outstanding. A young lady helped me today along with others but her energy was contagious and she was efficient. I wish I had asked for her name because she should be rewarded accordingly but she knows who she is. Thank you for your kindness.
I like Panda Express and the food is amazing but every time I get the $1.25 extra items they serve me little like what’s up with that? I might as well order a large then. They are very stingy with the food items, I guess I’ll be coming there less often.P.S. I sense a little attitude when I don’t want to donate, I don’t have to donate all the time no one is putting money in my pockets, I’m pretty sure you’re not donating after each purchase.
I actually really like this location, always well staffed. Online ordering available. Everyone Ive interacted with has been friendly. The food is what you would expect, almost everything is fried and overly sweet. The nice thing about this chain is you know what youre gonna get quality and flavor wise vs. rolling the dice with one of the side street Asian places. The sweet and sour sauce is some of the best Ive tasted. For the money you get a lot of food. I order online and walk in past the line, let the cashier know Im there for an online order and give them my name, and leave like a Panda Express VIP.
This is pretty much what I expect from an American Chinese fast food chain. The service is a bit slow because there was a lot of running back and forth. I ordered the plate with orange chicken and peking pork, both of which are pretty good on their own but I found them to be too heavy when you eat them together. Its a decent place to grab a quick bite when you are on the go.
The food is way too salty. Its expensive and I am not sure of the quality of ingredients. There was a giant can of pineapple and bags of pre-fried chicken chunks, probably for sweet and sour chicken, sitting on food prep counter for all to see. At least the mushroom and pepper are fresh. I think the green beans, celery, and onion are fresh too.
I ordered a 1 entree combo and said, for here please. The server handed the item to me in a traditional Chinese take out box. I said again, my order was for here. He did not understand. I then said can I have a plate? He said would you like to add an entree? I said no I just want a plate. He said if you say it is for here you just get a tray. I then asked again for a plate. Finally he gave me a plate and an attitude. the rice was also bone dry.
The young Chinese guy didnt wash his hands after washing the windows and became arguementive because I asked if he could wash his hands before serving my food. He refuse to want to wash his hands and or even serve me. I will never ever set foot at the Fulton Street location in Brooklyn NY ever again.
The were preparing food without gloves! Which is a health violation, there was a girl cooking fried force without a hair net on, or gloves on, she was so small her arm pits were over the wok because it was such a big pot that I stood with my mouth opened. When I asked the guy dishing out the food why he was wearing no gloves? He said because he was dishing out the food he didnt need to use gloves. I was done at that point. I walked right out. You are a food establishment you need gloves to handle food. This is how people get sick at food establishments. I was so disgusted by this I left.
The service here is so rude. The staff are inattentative. They mess up the order. Also on their opening day, the price on their menu and the price on their board are wrong. This was the grand opening day, leading to confusing between what price to charge. So the staff decided to charge the more expensive price on the menu rather than on the board. The manager also doesnt care. Plus even though this is an Asian American fast food chain, only the manager is Asian. All the workers including the chef are black! The food that the non-Asian chefs made were disgusting! It tasted like cardboard! No offense but I went to an Asian restaurant to get ASIAN FOOD, not CARDBOARD FOOD that cost me $10. Disgusting and flavorless!
Cashier was giving out free discounts to her friends - and asked me to step aside while she did this. She calls the manager over Give my friend an employee discount he walks over and gives it without question. Why do I care? Because Im told to wait, while they do this.
I have been going to this one Downtown Bklyn for nearly 2 years since it 1st opened. Simply Amazing I love the place, the Food & the people that work behind the counter & the young Chefs of all Nationalities learning to make the dishes of China. I especially love the Honey Glazed Walnut Shrimp 😉 1.25 extra but yumminess. Try it youll truly like it. Ohh yes Vegan dishes too.
Horrible business entity. Horrible service. Horrible food. I bought a bowl of chow mein and orange chicken. The chow mein was dry, probably half cooked. Waited about 10 mins for the orange chicken to be ready and when it was they put three pieces for me. Save your precious money and dont waste your time here.
Just had my share of panda express in Brooklyn, NY for the first time after recently eating at one in a mall of California. The taste and the quality was terrible. Had kung pao chicken and orange chicken. Both were so bad. Orange chicken looked and tasted straight out of a frozen ready-made packet and it was overly orangey. I cant believe I had bad experience with panda express.
I have been to a few panda express and it is my first time at this location for a quick lunch. I must say. Service here was great the girls and gentlemen at the counter were so nice and respectful. The food on the otherhand, blah! The fried rice was so hard... and the 8 treasure chicken ,Idk if it was the spiciness if it or the saltiness. I told the cashier about the rice and they were accommodating in replacing my hard rice with chow mein which was BLAND! OVERALL I WOULD GIVE IT 3 STARS just for service, food not great
If I could give this location no stars I would. Ive never had Panda express and decided to try this location in between classes.I walked in and waited around for 10 minutes while the workers were behind the counter talking to each other. when they decided to work again they served someone who walked in after me. As I continued to wait a the chef walked by the food and used a toothpick to take a piece of meat out of the food in front of me to eat it ! Needless to say I walked out disgusted !!!!

2022-04-14I would not buy there honesty unless they change their portion size. I bought a bowl consisting of one entree and one main. The cost was 9.50. I didn’t mind the cost, but the woman that served me counted the pieces of orange chicken she gave. 8 small pieces.. are we in a 3rd world country? Chicken is cheap in this country and for the price my bowl should be full. I will never buy there again. You are better off buying at an authentic Chinese restaurant where you get your money’s worth. I did not see before, but if you’re look closely there’s a hair in my food. Definitely not going back there..

2022-03-24Food is good and staff is friendly however customers are not allowed to use the bathroom. To allow a dine in experience and not approve bathroom use is barbaric. They printed a generic sign up and blocked off the second bathroom with chairs as seen in the picture. If they are having issues with people from the streets coming in to use the bathroom, the company should employ a guard to restore order in the restaurant so paying customers can use it.

2022-06-24Went there a week ago at lunch time. They was a short line. The cook was chatting on the phone. By the time I reached the counter, almost everything was gone, there was no fried noodles, teriyaki chicken, chicken with string beans, fried rice etc. it was lunch time they should anticipate that. Instead of apologizing, everything is (yelled out loudly by the Asian lady) “20 minutes wait you want or not?” I ended up left without lunch. Terrible services, nasty employees.

2021-10-25The food tastes okay, fresh, and the quantity is okay. Its just a bit busy. The tables are too dirty and no one manages them. I cant sit down and eat the food, so I can only clean it up by myself!

2022-05-21Fresh food and plenty of options 👍😁. The only downside is in downtown crooklyn where you have tons of homeless people bothering you and asking you for money. Me and my girlfriend were walking to this place and a homeless man got mad because we didnt stop to hear his question. Crazy 🤣, man Id like to help you but we got money issues ourselves 🙄😂
