Panera Bread in other cities:
Yesterday I attempted to place an order for pickup online. After completing the myriad of questions, the order would not go through. So I called the restaurant and explained the problem, and the the person at the other end took a verbal order instead, reassuring me that it would be ready in 10 minutes later. My sister, who was there and waiting for the order, texted an hour later stating she was STILL waiting. At one point then produced the order and it included 2 sandwiched rather than the 4 ordered and paid for! A bit over an hour later, the order was complete. My sister said everyone else who was waiting at the same time was having similar results: incomplete orders and wait times 6 times longer than what was promised. I will never go to this restaurant again!
This place was loud as hell. The employees brought their kids to work and they were jumping in the booths yelling. Ratchet when the employees were so loud you couldn’t hear yourself think. It was like a ZOO loud employees preparing the food yelling and having unprofessional conversations on the line. Loud Chaos Panera is what it should be called. Unprofessional employees and management that allows their employees to bring their kids to work and not supervise them…won’t ever go back there for any meetings or for lunch.
Not a busy time, forgot 2 things for the orders (bread and drink cup) had to ask for both of these things. Asked for the bread and the employee chuckled (?) As a response. Not sure if it is because someone else should have been paying attention and gave it to us or because of some other reason, regardless it was extremely off putting. Womens bathroom was gross and needed to be cleaned. Bathrooms needed to be cleaned both men and womens. Tables were not being cleaned there were several with crumbs and sticky substances. If it were busier these could be excusable but even to go orders werent keeping them busy, i assume we missed a rush. Paneras in general are hit or miss, this was a miss for us.
I ordered a bread bowl with soap it was delightful. But the amount of soup was maybe 4oz I counted I ate the soup in 5 bites. The bread bowl was super delish. We got a flat bread pizza price was 11$and it was probably worth 50¢ . Honestly for what they offer in ratio to the amount they charge I felt ripped off. I did enjoy the food and atmosphere. Sometimes I try not to look at the cost for the value. But I felt like Panera is great just give more in your soup portion
This is not a review regarding staffing at this location in particular. EVERYWHERE is short staffed! I placed an order through the Panera app which came from this location. I would say Paneras food quality has been in decline for a while (before pandemic) the Mac & cheese no longer has same flavor, bland. Ingredients missing from sandwiches, or overall portions are skimpy and sloppy. Bread and souffles burnt too and still delivered. Just not the same Panera as 1st introduced in Rochester.
I love the food, and the atmosphere is nice!!Buuuuut...this is the 3rd time in a row I had an issue. Previous two times, I ordered online, received a confirmation and when I went to pick it up, no order. Both of those times, they were very apologetic and that was nearly 4mo ago. Really craved it today. Went online for rapid delivery (10 min), confirmation received, showed up after 15 min to make sure it was done because my lunch break is only 30 minutes. No order on the shelf, but they were SLAMMED. decided to wait a few more minutes and since the prompter wasnt working, I asked an associate. Very rudely noted she had 45 orders in cue and didnt know. Waited some more...people came in after me and left. Asked again with similar response. Got another employee, come to find out...no order recorded. I was there near 45 min...no apologies AT ALL and I was 30 minutes late back from lunch.
The cashier was unfriendly and didn’t understand how to use gift cards so said they were not valid. Luckily I had cash. The order was missing an item which we didn’t notice until we got home. The fruit cup had a piece of plastic in it. But otherwise the food was good and tasty
They were very busy so I waited a long time. I grabbed the food and headed home only to find that my order was missing two of the bread bowls to go with our soups. Also there was a soup in our order that we didnt order. Its very frustrating to order food and not get what you ordered. The food tasted good at least.
Service: I have had very mixed situations at this one. Had one very clueless employee a lot chop off her own hand and gave me a burnt bagel, and then also have had the normal mediocre employees. This location can be hard to park at as they have very limited spaces in the front and a very tight parking lot in the back.Food: the bagel are amazing and All the bakery treats are to die for! BUT The other food is so expensive, I am honestly not going to pay $20 for half a salad and half a sandwich. If me and my husband want to spent $40 on a meal together we’re going to go somewhere that we can’t make the same food at home in under 10 minutes.
I order from this location for many, many work meetings (large, expensize orders) and 9/10 times something is not correct or missing. This time, and my last, I picked up a $142 order. Got back across the city and one entire sandwich was missing. Unpacking it there during the chaos or in my car and comparing the order and repacking it again is annoying and a mess. I called back and asked if they would make one and deliver it with other orders getting delivered. I was told they would make it and I could come back. NO WAY as we had guests arriving that we were hosting. I was told by the Mgr. to use Grub Hub. I told her I didnt have an account and needed a replacement ASAP, she couldnt have cared less. I ended up ordering Grub Hub, they took 1 hour and 25 minutes and the luncheon portion was over. I have spent a sizeable amount of $ at this location and will NOT go back to 12 Corners Brighton again.
This is the absolute worst panera in the area. The 12 corners location is very slow (even when there are only a few customers), the female manager is extremely rude, the food is ALWAYS wrong or missing part of the order, and you never even get as much as an apology. From now on, if I really want Panera, I will drive to Henrietta because the Henrietta location is good and the managers ar Henrietta are friendly. The 12 Corners Brighton location NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT ASAP!!!
Placed an order for an exact time, it has been 45 minutes PAST that time and we still have received nothing. Staff is extremely rude especially the woman who wears the vest like a crossing guard. Turns out the order was stolen after repeated attempts to get them to check if it had in fact been finished and they are still taking their sweet time. If there is a problem with an order you would think you would attend to that but these people are extremely unprofessional and cannot handle a simple order.
I like this place. This place has the Teriyaki chicken bowl which ,is Not only good but healthy as well. Customer Serv is GREAT and your order will be exactly what one order before leaving establishment, Not like other fast food joints who hire people that cant even count money let alone make a meal😂🤔
First of all I wish zero stars was a possibility!! Haley, the very rude worker would simply not let me get a water cup after I was dying of thirst. She screamed at me to give her water my water cup after I took half a sip of free water I don’t know if it was because I did not ask but she told me to leave. I was very disappointed at a place with such great food would have such bad services
This is the 3rd time I have placed a curbside order and have waited 10+ mins before calling. Today my call was dropped and when I went to talk to the manager I was told they are busy with deliveries, rapid pick ups and staffing issues. Curbside should not be an option if the manager is telling me they can’t actually do it.
The Panera Monroe Ave location says on their website that they open at 6 am, however they actually do not open until 8 am.This is very poor customer service. The worst part is they know the website says 6 am.How do they expect the working class and bus drivers and all of us who start work at 8 am to get breakfast if they dont open til 8 am?Very poor. I give them a zero!
Okay the food is top notch but the workers arent so much. It was my birthday today and I got an email from Panera Rewards to come and redeem a free pastry. I redeemed my pastry on the app and invited my friends to come eat. When I got there I asked for my order, and my order wasnt there. When the manager came to see my order they said they dont give free pastries anymore which doesnt make sense. I decided get another thing since i was already there. All my friends ordered things too. After a while we were sitting down and a worker there kept telling us that we needed to leave because we didnt order anything there... but we did
DO NOT go to this location during the lunch hour!! 30 minute wait and STILL didnt have my food!! Walked out empty handed cause my lunch was OVER!! NO LUNCH FOR ME!! Theyre too slammed with the Door Dash/Grubhub orders! Even THEY were talking too long!! 3rd try, Im DONE!!! 😡
I placed an order tonight for curbside to go. I waited 7 minutes after I arrived at the Monroe ave Rochester ny location. When I home I found there was NO Chicken on the salad!!! I tried calling the store 5 times, after holding my call was disconnected everytime. Is this the level of customer service that your company offers? Sadly this is not the first time orders have been wrong from this location.
I came in with some friends and we sat down and within 5 minutes an employee came over to rudely tell me to order, after having been inside for 5 minutes. While I ordered, the employee at the register treated me with disrespect and was incredibly rude. When I asked for a side of bread, she told me they were out, and when I asked for chips she shortly said they were out of that as well. Won’t be returning.Additionally, an employee in the bathroom rudely asked me to leave? What?
Possibly the worst Panera I’ve been to in multiple states. I’ve witnessed curbside orders being stated as ready when they’re not, Togo pick up orders with frozen and warm drinks that sit for almost 20 mins. No organization at all. I don’t recommend coming here until a standard and precedence of true customer service is added to the culture
I come here pretty often, and have always had lovely experiences! The staff is kind and friendly, things are made in a timely manner, and the food is as good as Panera tends to be! This location is right by a school, so if you come in at around 3 there are a lot of students who’ve walked over from campus, so keep that in mind if you’re trying to find a large table or wanting some quiet. Overall I enjoy this location a lot, and recommend it!
This location made some of the best food I have had at a Panera ever. I always get a Sierra Turkey and they not only nailed it, they surpassed my expectations 10 fold. The manager on duty was fantastic as well. He was ensuring the team were doing OK and helping insure accuracy as well as a friendly touch when picking up the order. He was actively assisting in the day to day activities. It was great to see and his personality was on key.
If I could give no stars I would. I used to come in everyday on my lunch break and everyone was very nice, friendly, and helpful even when super busy. I knew all of the employees since I was a regular and everyone was amazing. As a of a few months ago, I was treated very poorly and when I asked to talk to a manager about a problem with my order she acted as if I was the problem and didn’t care to fix it or refund me all I got was a sorry and she walked away. I miss the old panera and all the old employees. I feel like management has drove them away unfortunately.
Love stopping here after school on my way to work. This location can get quite busy around lunch time. So ordering through the app is recommended. I’ve never had a problem with my order being wrong, although using the kiosk I have forgotten to grab my drink. Staff is diligent about getting orders out.
Workers in this Panera at Twelve Corners are so rude. I don’t know what their problem is but they seem to get mad when one wants to redeem rewards. Also, I took my elderly friend to eat there and she did not spoke loud enough and the cashier got impatient and told her in a very rude way that he didn’t understand what she was saying. Never coming back to this place. Such a shame!
I ordered 80 dollars worth of food for my coworkers and I. We all got baguettes with our meals which were rock hard and burnt. When I called the store the manager told me that they were still edible but shouldnt have been sent out. She stated they didnt have any bread in the store so she offered me a free you pick 2 which not only did I never get but did make up for everyones bread that was inedible because I would have broken my teeth. In the past when orders have been wrong from other stores the problem was solved fairly. I wont be ordering from this location again.
Placed order online via app, when driver got here I was missing some items but the driver came back asap with the rest of my order and they through in a few cookies for free for my inconvenience. Im very happy with the customer service here and the way they handled my issue. I order from here all the time and this was the first time I had an error with my order.
Great sandwich but extremely disappointed by managers lack of customer service skills. Kiosk communication and follow up email is incorrect and misleading. When I brought it up to manager, received the typical thats how Corporate does it.When I persisted to suggest she communicate with her corporate staff, I was told that they are one of the busiest Paneras in the area.It was more about hurrying and not much integrity. They also made an error with my order.Does anyone know what it really means to give outstanding customer service anymore?
Antibiotic free chicken and turkey in a non assuming setting. Whenever I have a stomach ache I love to have their chicken noodle soup with bread for dipping, sparkling water and maybe a bit of greek salad. My kids love the mac n cheese here. The prices are a bit above other convenience food places but its worth it for the health and quality of the food. You can stay on your healthy diet - or not! You have the options here.
I recently was at the twelve corners location in Brighton and I had a terrible experience, not only was my sandwich sloppy but I saw one of the managers with very curly hair and heavy makeup yelling at one of the employees up front behind the registers. I think that’s very unprofessional.
Menu and ordering system are arcane and confusing, staff are disinterested and confused, food is adequate and overpriced. Dont treat your customers as contemptuous imbeciles please. We know you list the sugar content in teaspoons as opposed to grams not because its easier as you claim, but to conceal the fact that your cola has 69g of sugar in it.
Im not a Panera Bread person. However, one day a friend of mine bought some scones to my house and they were delicious. So today I decided to go and get some. I really enjoyed my scone. But I really enjoyed my chocolate chip muffie. It really hit the spot. Fresh and tasty. The bathroom could use some help.
Seemed like the server was phoning it in, but my order was correct and also timely--if a tad pricey. That said, the spicy chicken was so spicy it drowned out the rest of the salad flavors (disappointing). Still, it is nice to eat lunch on real flatware with real silverware. Overall, pleasant but not outstanding.
I love the you pick two option! I always get the harvest turkey sandwich and spinach salad. Booths usually available. the mobile order and pick up option is super convenient and fast. Their baked goods are delicious and you can earn free treats :) this is a great place to bring your laptop and get work done with a cup of coffee.
I love Panera and the experience food wise is always consistent, which is nice if youre traveling and want something familiar to eat. The staff here are friendly and helpful, and I would give this location 5 stars except for the fact that starting at 330 the store is flooded by unaccompanied middle school kids, so dont expect to be able to get any work done over the noise.
There honestly is not a bad thing on their menu. My favorite option is the choose two, because you get the most bang for your buck and you get to taste more things. You get your choice of two of the following: half a sandwich, soup, salad. You get your choice of any of the two you pick. My favorite sandwiches include the caprese and the grilled brie and apple.
I was at this location and it was awful. There was a line to the door and only one cashier working. As I got closer to the register I saw there was an older lady with lots of makeup on and messy hair behind the registers just watching her take care of customers and didn’t offer to help out. I kept hearing the phone ringing constantly and the cashier had asked who I believe was a manager (who was watching her) to answer it and I could hear her say “I refuse to answer the phone” and then walked through the door. I usually love this cafe but I think management needs to be taken a look at by the corporate offices.
This is one of my preferred places to meet up for a coffee, lunch, or a treat. I have had many a small meeting here, or just came to have a change of scenery while working. The food and coffee is consistently good, and I love that there are a variety of vegetarian options.
Even at crowded lunch rush time Ive got good service. The line gets a bit long and perhaps might be better organized with ropes or something so people dont line up in awkward ways. Food is always good and comes out surprisingly fast.I usually go with a Cuban Chicken panini and am always happy. Pastries are ok, but if you are lookin for dessert, go with an awesome smoothie!
Cashiers had no product knowledge, I asked what a certain salad was and they were not able to answer. So I consulted the printed take-out menu. Employees were having loud side conversations - overall store appearance was messy and felt more like I was at McDonald’s. Will not be returning
Panera Bread is your standard fast-casual soup, salad, and sandwich joint. Theyve recently improved their order process to allow ordering from web, mobile apps, and tablets in the store which helps improve the time between walking in and actual eating. Menu now seems a little healthier too - if you consider throwing quinoa on everything as healthier.
Made a mistake with my take out order for the 3rd time this month. I called - no apology. The mngr kept me on hold - spent 5 minutes looking for my submitted order & asked me if I knew what was in an apple fugi chicken salad... dried apples & chicken which werent on my salad!! I wont be back...
I dont have any money any more. Thanks Panera! To be fair, its yummy and i will always have the memory! Cant put a price on that! Oh wait $1000 for salad. If only i knew how to get to the grocery store, i could combine lettuce, dressing and dried cranberries.... but I cant buy a gps because PANERA TOOK ALL MY MONEY! DO YOU SEE! THE CYYYYCCCCLLLEEEE CONTINUES!!!!!!

2021-12-14Last time I got a different sandwich than what I ordered in to-go.. mentioned about that when I picked up todays to-go order. No change in the taste and we enjoyed the food. Unfortunately we saw a paper(must be cheese sheet) in my kids sandwich. Appreciate if they take care in future.

2022-06-18Excellent place to dine for any meal.Delicious, mostly healthy, food with relatively fresh, high-quality ingredients are offered here for a slightly higher price than the average food establishment but is arguably well worth the cost. Orders are reported to sometimes be wrong, but risk seems to be relatively low.The building is usually quite clean, with mostly clean bathrooms to match. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. Indoor area can get quite loud at times. It is dimly and evenly lit and has a nice overall atmosphere.Staff is typically friendly and quick about fulfilling orders. The status of ordered food is queued via buzzers. Lines are rarely long. Food can also be ordered via tablets near the entrance.

2022-03-08This location is consistently terrible. I usually love Panera, which is why I have given them multiple chances but my orders are frequently wrong/ missing items. Today I only ordered one item, so they managed to get that part right (hence the one star) but the avocado slices they gave me were unacceptable. This wasn’t the first time it had looked questionable but today it was the worst I have seen. Note to Panera employees: If you wouldn’t eat it yourself, don’t put it on a paying customer’s sandwich.

2022-03-06Panera is as always great. Good food. Clean restaurant. The staff wasnt rude but not pleasant either. Maybe it was just a bad day but not very friendly. I spoke with two people. The first I ordered with and she never smiled or said welcome or anything like that. The second I asked where i could find the water and I got a very brisk answer. It didnt ruin my visit but it didnt make me feel very welcome.

2022-06-26Says they open at 8, no signage on the door indicating otherwise. Its about 9 and doors are locked. Its not that hard to update a maps listings with temp hours or to put up a sign so people have some ideas of whats going on.

2021-11-13I love this place! But the food quality has gone down the last couple of months!Tonight for the last time, I ordered through UnerEats a half southwest BBQ chicken sandwich with a soup! The sandwich showed up with Just the chicken and cheese. No Sauce, No Onions.. nothing. Thankfully i had Bbq sauce in the house, but I basically wasted my money! The meat looked so disgusting I pretty much lost my appetite, I couldnt even eat any of it. 😑

2021-10-12I requested a tomato soup for a group and ended up with squash soup which was very nasty tasting! Not only did They get the type of soup wrong but for the second time no bread and the ticket actually had the 5 breads and the salad correct but the bread was not included at all! I tried to call twice the system phone rang and rang and both times Simply hung up on me with no answer! I am beginning to believe the quality of help they have in management positions is questionable! I will not be returning to this Panera bread , and possibly the entire franchise as the quality has been going down for some time!

2022-04-27This is a great place for lunch if you have no commitments for the rest of the day. If you have anywhere to be in the next few hours, you don’t want to go here. Every time I go to this location I tell myself, “this cannot possibly take as long as last time” and every time it does. The consistency is remarkable, I must admit.

2022-05-02I ordered a chicken salad and THEY DIDNT GIVE ME ANY CHICKEN! Paid damn near $13 for a bunch of lettuce and didn’t noticed until I got home to eat it! Very very disappointed. Will not be returning. I always love their food but I do not like how my order is never correct at this location.

2022-03-14I didn’t get all the salads I ordered (3). I did get the noodles to go with the Asian salad but no salad. I got 5 spoons and 1 fork. I picked up the order in Brighton and love I’m irondequoit so I’m not going back to get a refund. Their food isn’t cheap. So one should get what they order. You cannot get through by phone to make a complaint.
