Folks if you planning to visit a car dealership just keep in mind theyre the biggest thief in the world. Yesterday I towed my car to the Paragon Honda Service Center for check out the warning light. Service specialist told me ABS modulator gone bad and it will cost $1700 to fix, as alternative he make an offer to buyback my car way below market value. I refused and asked to return my car without repair. Then I went online to look for solution one guy wrote article about similar issue can be fixed by only few restart. Oh boy hes right I dont see any warning light.
Hey guys!!My lease was coming up and I wanted to see if I could get a good deal to trade in my car early. I went to paragon Honda and talked to Victoria. She was very understanding to what I want, took her time, and made sure I got the best deal I could get. I traded in my Honda HR-V 2019 and walked out with a brand new Honda CR-V 2021 TOURING!!!!Thanks to her I got a crazy upgrade and I love my new car!If you guys need help , please look for Victoria.Thank you Victoria 🙂
This place is a frat house lol. It is the kind of place that calls you nonstop to purchase a car, but crickets when it comes to communication and customer service. Honda corporate should really take a closer look at this location. Their service lane lines block public roads.
Very bad experience they were calling me from months for the air bag recall service and i was ignoring that . Finally i decided to give my car , first no body has given a call that you car is ready, second by calling 10 times they have answered once. when i was there to pick my car the customer representative told me it will take 15 mins to bring your car which results in 1 hour 15 mins but finally i picked my car.
They help a lot with changing tires or oil changes. This place can take pretty much a while just for your car to be done. While bringing it in for inspection or something, they will say things like, parts are missing or not functioning properly so youll have to pay extra for those updates they recommend.
I was having issues with my splash guard on my Honda Fit. I called Paragon Honda Service to explain what was going on with my car and the customer service rep told me to bring it in right away. I asked if I needed an appointment and the guy said “No, it’s sounds pretty urgent so I recommend just bringing it in”. Upon arrival the check in guy argued with me and said I need to book an appointment. I told him the guy on the phone said to just bring it in and he said “that guy doesn’t know what he is talking about and you need an appointment”. After back and forth he took the car in. After dropping the off, the customer service rep called and said you need an oil change, which I agreed to get done. It took 2 days to fix the car which was fine. I received a text message with the bill that the car was ready for pick up. I got dropped off at 9am to pick up my car. It took them 1 hour to get the car. I was literally standing waiting for someone to get the car. My service rep was not very helpful at all and used the excuse they are really busy because it’s New Years. When I picked up my car, I noticed the oil change was not done. I Absolutely hate Honda and will never get another Car from them again. The car and service is the worst ever. Please be careful before doing anything with Paragon Honda.
Please dont bring your car here. Waited 3 hrs. And they still didnt fix my problem. Its a 2017 Pilot with only 9000 miles. All the Honda sensing warning lights came on the dash. They try to blame me for the problem saying someone backed into my thats why its not working. But yet I have a front bumper guard and my front grill and bumper doesnt ever have a scratch. Dishonest and incompetent dealership.Updates: 3 weeks after leaving Paragon Honda. My Honda Pilot cleared itself of all the error messages. And its operating normal. So glad I didnt got scam of paying them $1000 to fix this issue.
So far great service. Spoke to soon. This place takes advantage if you have not been here in a long time. I bought a hazzard switch for $100. It about 2 in size. It is costing me $450 to get it installed. I should of gone somewhere else. In my opinion, not award wining service!
They definitely try to get as much money out of you as possible. Even I made appointment 2 weeks ago. But the appointment usually means nothing. My car still can not be ready in that day. I always have to come back pick up next day. My car probably worth $8000, and the changing oil, repair Break cost about $1000. Well, it gets fixed, but its really expensive.
I have been coming to this service center for many years and I have never had any problems until this time I left my car at 6:55 am for an oil change and let them know that the sign that indicates the pressure of the tires were on please check it. From that time until 3:15 in the afternoon, nobody called me to find out what had happened with my car and they send me a message that it is ready to pick up. When I went to pick up the car I had a flat tire, the representative who attended me Nick did not do anything or call me or let me know what was happening with my car was very unprofessional. Thanks to Clarissa Cespedes who helped me and dedicated herself to solving my case and called my tire insurance to change it. I thank her very much and for her alone I give her 5 stars.
Went in for a recall that was supposed to take 45 mins I ended up leaving 2 hours later. About 45 minutes into my wait the rep calls me to tell me my brakes need to be changed and my fuel injector. I told them no thank you then 20 minutes later I find the same rep to ask her whats taking so long and too get a price check on what she said the tech said was wrong. She proceeds to tell me that its my brake fluid and the fuel injector needs to be cleaned. I get the estimate and asked how much longer she said they are almost done. 40 more minutes go by I go back looking for the rep and watch as she gets her lunch order to go on lunch then Im directed to someone else. While waiting to hear from someone else I hear another rep telling the same story I was told about the fuel injector and something just didnt feel right. I then get word from the new rep that my car has been finished.... I ask for a report of what she said was wrong and I was not allowed to speak with the mechanic and I wasnt going to wait for the woman too come back from lunch. So I left to pick up my car. Which ended up not being in the building it was moved outside in front of a no parking sign....the next day I go too look at my brake fluid the cap and container were dirty which is odd since they say they hecked it. The fluid was nearly full and clean. Becareful what you hear from these people they seem to just want to bill you for things that dont want to be done. I hope I never need to go back again.
They are very very unprofessional, they barely do any communication with their client, i waited there for 4 hours and they have no update about my car. There is also poor communication between workers, They charged me for the service without performing the service and when I go and tell them, they gave me attitude. I ended up leaving that place 8 hours after I dropped the car. Very very poor service. I also work in customer service field, and I know this is not the way to provide service to your customers. I took my business somewhere else. I really hope managements read these reviews because all the bad reviews here, I found out it to be true i also saw some customers leaving the place unhappy.
Now, they are EXPENSIVE but that is to be expected with getting service through the dealership. With that said, the service was fast and professional. I dropped my car off and it was delivered to my home the next day which was extremely convenient. David Bitterhoff was great with communicating everything with me.
Just be carefull, all 5 star rating that mention someones name are fake comment.If you like to get trouble for youself, come here.I had 2 time car service at here, worest experience. First time just picking up my car when my car is done, I waited almost one hour to get my key. And second time, just do an engine oil change, I was told need to wait 2 hours, while after I waited 3 hours, I found that they had not started with my car. Rediculous service, will never come again. Hope they can close their business soon.
My experience was miserable. They completely misdiagnosed the problem and took $1,200 from me. After I paid, got my key, and went to my car, it would not start in the exact same manner as when I brought it in. You would think they would have attempted to start the vehicle before telling me it was all fixed. So they sold me an entire new ignition system that the vehicle does not need. And give days later they still have my car and no idea why it wont start. Their service manager said, Ill have my best guys on it and get back to you tomorrow. And of course, no call from Paragon the following day. A true nightmare.
Ramon which was the salesperson helping us was very pleasant and professional. My wife and I loved the fact that he didnt pressure us or try speeding things up. He was patient with us as first time car buyers and answered every question we had and explained it with such knowledge and ease that we understood it and it made us feel comfortable with the entire sales process.
How can you hate this place. Met Alex and his boss and it was an amazing experience. Service was great. I didnt even had to wait while they repair my car. Took the free shuttle car back to home. Once it was done I had the car delivered to me all without paying anything. If you decide to come early then you can also enjoy the free coffee and bagel combo. I like how they keep different type of bagel for the customers in the waiting room. Over all It was good.
Been coming here for a two years now. Today was completely different because Clarrisa went out of her way to get mechanics to change out the battery even though they were extremely packed, not to mention i showed up without an appointment too. Will be coming back again just for her service!
Everything went smooth today. Alex is the man there. He took care of the issue I had with my car and made the repairs went smooth like butter. People complained about waiting for their repairs getting done but you can opt to go home or to work using their free shuttle service. Isnt that amazing! I didnt even had to ask for it and they hooked me up with it. The shuttle care comes with in minutes. Once the repair was done I was given option to have my car delivered to my door which is crazy. All that service without any additional payment. Met the boss at the service center today. He was very nice and knows how to take care of a customer.
I got there at 8:30am on a Sunday although the website says they open at 9am. They were already opened and taking cars, I was greeted and helped immediately. Worked with Kevin S. who was very friendly, great listener and explained everything about my cars needs. He even reviewed my entire history on Carfax to make sure he only recommended what I needed. I was nervous about going to get service done as a woman who knows nothing about cars and this being my first car (owned for 1 month). But he helped me make an informed decision and I will be back. Also they have 6 Mac desktops stations in the waiting room so the time passed quickly. Thanks again!!
Terrible service from top to bottom. I left my car to be looked at after my check engine light came on and was told I should receive a call the next day. After calling multiple times and being hung up on I decided to show up and was asked multiple times what car I had, my name and number as if they didnt already have it, only to be told that they couldnt account for my car at all in their system. An ENTIRE DAY of them holding my car and not doing a single thing with it. Had I not shown up myself they wouldve completely forgotten about my car.Complete untrustworthiness and cluelessness throughout the shop, from the customer service representatives that hung up on me and didnt call me back when they told me they would to the individuals in charge of vehicle maintenance. I would rather let my car break down than bring it in to a place of such incompetence.
The worst-served local service point on the planet arrived on time according to the appointment time. After waiting for 3 hours, maintenance has not started. Its just upgrading the software and changing the engine oil, but it doesnt provide service according to the appointment time. Dont come to this shop to do vehicle maintenance, waste time and money.
Came in for a scheduled yearly service, had a brisk processing along with a relatively quick turnaround on my vehicle despite the addition of 6 recalls to my yearly service. Chris B. updated me promptly and had my vehicle ready at the time he estimated. He was extremely helpful. Staff was courteous despite being at 8:30 in the evening when I’m sure they can be burnt out by that time of the day, lol.
HORRIBLE SERVICE. They are completely understaffed, and quite frankly incompetent. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. I was waiting for about 3 hours just to be told my car was not ready and to come back tomorrow. When I decided to tow my car out because I was so livid by their ridiculous attempt to charge me over $2,000 for a clutch repair, the manager caught an attitude with me.
Awesome experience, after my vehicle left me stranded the night before they treated it as an emergency appointment after my own dealer told me I had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment or go elsewhere. My daughter found Paragon Honda Service Center and I am so pleased that she did; she took the car in and they delivered the car when done keeping us updated by text. They even took care of a recall that my dealer Hillside Honda said they can only make an appointment for April (more than 3 months wait) Shout out to Donna and the Paragon Service Team! Will highly recommend this Service Center.
Update: Manager of Service Center contacted me last night and today and was able to provide support around the matter. Pleased with the turn around time and care that was taken to address my need and the professionalism of the staff that I spoke to yesterday.Called ahead to pick something up. Was told they had it. Drove 30 minutes and then was told they did not and nothing could be done. Disappointed with the lack of communication on their part considering it was something super simple.
Service and team here is top notch. Like all dealerships pricing is a little higher than what you would pay at an independent shop. They get the job done in a timely manner. Wait area is well equip and there is always Keurig coffee available. Will continue coming here as long as my car is under warranty.
I went to go for them to see if my driver side master door lock switch itself was faulty or if the circuit was messed up. When I arrived to the service center there are two barricades that say free appraisal so I thought I could ask a simple question they could take 5 minutes to check the switch with a multimeter and tell me what the problem is cause I dont have a multimeter on me and I found it easier to make a 3 minute drive and have them check it out. When I ask the guy taking in the cars a question he dismisses me writes down the details of my car gives me a sheet and sends me off. So I go into the office sit down and they tell me that for them to check anything it costs 135 dollars plus tax so I immediately tell the agent that its only a five minute max check but still 135 so I say ok I dont want it I would rather go buy a high end multimeter and do it my self. But the guy that had the car was dismissing me when I said that I wasnt going through with the inspection so I hopped in my car and drove It out of the lot. My advice go to a shop that specializes in what your problem is and dont bother with this money hungry service center.
This has to be the best Honda service center in the Brooklyn/Queens area. After two poor experiences at Kings, Paragon is the only place I feel comfortable taking my car for proper service and great customer service!This time valet picked up my car and delivered it to my service advisor Kevin who called me right away once the car arrived for an 11:30 pm appointment ( I wanted my car serviced asap and Sara the agent got me the earliest appointment available). My service advisor Kevin sent me service updates as they were happening via text all throughout the process. He even sent me a video to help me visually understand the issue with the car which he was able to fix. Kevin even helped me find a coupon offer online to reduce the service cost. Imagine that!.. Amazing customer service annddd cost saving support! ..Like where else can you find that.I just got the car back and it feels like new! I am so pleased with my service! Again people this is THE BEST Honda Dealer Service Center.. Hands down.Shout out to Eugene my salesman and Kevin the service advisor!
Took my Civic there for the airbag recall. They performed the service, but didnt reassemble the glove compartment area and broke the vent. The tech also left his or her tools in my car. You can imagine how mad I was because this should be a professionally done job. They are billing hundreds an hour and it doesnt matter who pays. There is an expectation set for that kind of rate.
I always do my car service here as this is one among few Honda authorized service center located nearby my place. The area is normally crowded and takes few hours before getting the job done. Today I met Mr. Chris Balram who made sure I was comfortable and took the details carefully. He was pretty fast with what he was doing and it seemed he took in more people than the other experts. The overall experience with him was great. The car was serviced within an hour and I feel this center is improving in terms of wait time. Thank you Paragon and Chris .
Got in at 6am for an oil change and recall fix, paid and out by 6:55am, exactly what I was hoping for. My service advisor, Abdul, was friendly and professional. Plus they have a cool text system that allows you to follow the progress of your service, and they send you photos of any issues they identify. Great experience overall!
I went into the service center for a simple oil change and was treated and treated like royalty from Mike G. His attitude and personality was one for the books not to mention his customer service skills, he assured that I was well set up and asked questions to make sure I was getting all the service I needed. Mike G was definitely a breathe of fresh air, and his efforts should not go unnoticed. He’s definitely a big asset to the company by far the best associate I’ve in countered since buying my car :) thanks again for your hospitality Mike G!!!
The service was outstanding. First the free breakfast in the waiting room for the early comers and then the free shuttle back to where ever u wanna go if u decide not to wait there while the car is getting fixed. Best part of the entire process is the car drop off service after repair is done which is also free. So basically I can just wait at my work and the car get delivered to me. Thank you Alex my man.
I made an online appointment for service at 12:00 - one of the available spots. I came at 12:00. There were several cars at the reception. I got admitted at 12:20. The representative told me that it will take 2 hours. At 3:00 he told me that it will take 45 min more. at 4:00 he told me that it will take additional 30 min. I got my car at 5:10! It was a simple oil/filter change and the manufacturers recall that took, according to their own bill, 0.3 hours. How does it sum up to almost 5 hours? I had to spend these hours in a crowded waiting room with rundown chairs? O yes, there was a coffee machine, and an empty creamer jar standing by and no napkins. To complete the picture, the toilet was soiled and smelly. Car delivery at the end was a mess: not clear where to go, to whom hand the release papers and where to wait for the car. 10 more minutes were spent to get the car. What a service! And there even was no apology from the representative at the end. Never again to this place!
I am not really sure why the reviews are sometimes bad I have been bringing my cars here since 2004 and never an issue. If you stay there expect to wait since they are always busy would you rather they rush through fixing the cars and making mistakes?They provided Super service always speak to Zaria Morel shes a professional,sincere and very knowledgeable . My family brings in all our cars in warranty and out of warranty to Paragon Honda Service center.
Scheduled appointment for pick up and drop off service. Teresa and Kevin contacted me stating they received my vehicle and the service was done overnight and delivered back to me the next morning. The text updates are very informative as they let you know what the status of the vehicle is. Talk about convenient. =]
Every time me and my husband NAZMUL have gone to this service center, to change our car’s service oil or any type of repairs we always go to Mr Eric. We always feel like we are special. He always offers water or coffee while we are waiting.He is very professional and knowledgeable. He always try to make sure our work completed by less than 2hours.Thank you Mr Eric.
Great service location, David B. was very courteous and helpful, pointed out what was needed, what was recommended, and was not pushy at all, which I appreciated. Wait time can be a little long since it is a busy service center, but they have a surprisingly decent selection of complementary snacks and coffee to tide you over while you wait.
A few years ago I brought a Paragon bought car for routine oil change and they broke the oil tank cap underneath. The manager, hiding what happened, led me to believe that the oil change was performed. I found out later that it was a lie. All this after a hours long wait just for an oil change.However, to date, a lot of improvements had happened. Even though the waiting room had more than 20 customers waiting for different services, my problem was handled in just over an hour. They had made it so that they could handle up to 20 cars at once. My second experience was far more satisfactory. Kudos!
Service center people are so scammy. I changed my transmission oil less than an year ago from Hillside Honda and they suggested it to do it again without checking. And suggested me few more maintenance which would cost me total $880 including the cabin and engine filters which were almost brand new, which I changed myself. I asked for the inspection list and they did not even fill it up saying everything else is fine, so I dont need it. Not going back again.
Horrible customer service. Just visited this place a few days ago for oil change and state inspection. A rep told me that my battery failed the test and need to be replaced. I told him that it was replaced only a year ago. The rep asked me if I bought the battery from them and if it was installed by their mechanic. I told him to check their record and if there’s something wrong with the battery they should replace it with a new one at no cost at all. When he found out that the battery was from them and installed by them, he told me that they will do another test. When they are finished with my car, the rep did not mention anything about the battery so i asked him about it and he said there’s nothing wrong with the battery. I asked him how come it failed on the first test and he never answer me. This guy (rep) tried to rip me off.AVOID THIS PLACE!!
Hit or miss. I try to come really early and take advantage of their 24hr service schedule, even then a simple oil change sometimes takes 3hrs. I think this will be my last time getting any work done here.They do have a nice app which updates you on the status of your repair/service and you can even pay within the app. However with my most recent visit the advisor didnt even use or update it so that was another huge turn off.
Reasonable prices and give off at least a sense of being trust worthy. They have a comfortable waiting area with TVs, internet, coffee, and surprisingly good bagels. This is a nice touch since they never seem to be able to maintain a schedule. I spent nearly two hours there for a simple oil change and I had an appointment.
My husband and I visited Paragon Honda in Woodside, looking to purchase a CR V or a Passport. We were immediately welcomed by the friendliest staff you could ever meet. I asked so many questions, and spent over three hours sitting in different vehicles and asking everyone a ton of questions. Everyone was so kind and patient, answering all my questions without hesitation. We finally decided on the Passport Touring. Our salesman Haitham was amazing! He took us out to test drive both vehicles, he handled all our documentation, messaged us when our plates were ready and made sure everything was perfect for us before we picked up the Passport. He even came in on his day off to make sure that everything was in order for us.William in finances sat with us to go over rates and explained everything 100%, offering us options and package deals. UNFORTUNATELY, all that changed once the deal was done. No return calls, our brand new vehicle with only 2 miles has a title that says Used, which were told we cant change, while in service, the truck came back to us hit and dented, management wont return your call... And the list goes on and on. I wish we had purchased elsewhere. Basically, once the sale is done, youre on your own!!!
This is a busy service center and I expected that I would have to wait. However, Paragon Honda Service Center managed to hit (dig?) a new low. I went in for the Maintenance Minder A message (oil change). Plus a door handle squeak. I made an an appointment online for 5pm on Wednesday. When I went in to the Service Center, I was told to hold on. That was fine. They were busy. I got it. After waiting 30 minutes, I saw someone. He was polite and professional. I asked how long the oil change would take (he said I didnt need the tire rotation). He said 2-3 hours as they were pretty busy. I decided to leave my car overnight and pick it up in the morning. Keep in mind, this was just for an oil change. At 6am I called the Service Center at the only number listed on their web site. I got a message saying they were closed and would open at 7am. Huh? The web site proudly says that they are open 24 hours on a Thursday. Called twice more. Same message. So I went in at 7am. For some strange unknown reason I figured they would have serviced my car since it was only an oil change, and they had the car overnight. Stupid me. The associate told me they had expected I would come in at 8-9 am. Why that time I dont know since they never asked what time I would pick up the car? As I was trying to wrap my mind around the fact that they could not do an oil change overnight, he told me that they could do the oil change now, and it would only take an hour?!? I politely declined, obtained my car keys, went to Jiffy Lube, and had my oil change and door squeak fixed in 15 minutes. Thank you Paragon Honda Service Center. I have learned my lesson and will now know what to do when I need to service my car.
Place is crowded and staff looks like they don’t care about their customers. I brought my car for oils change, and tire rotation. I was recommended to do a wheel alignment even though I never had issues.After wheel alignment was done, it was completely off. I came 3 more times and NOTHING was resolved.TOTAL WAISTE OF TIME TO VISIT PARAGON HONDA SERVICE!!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Now the only reason I am giving it one star is for the simple fact being that NO ONE EVER PICKS UP THE PHONE. No matter what time you call no matter what day it is the phone just rings and rings and rings without anyone ever having the audacity to pick it up. Any issues I have I literally have to physically show up whether it’s an emergency, to set an appointment, quick service job or to even ask a question. It’s just ridiculous and I hope it changes soon. I am literally on the phone as we speak where I had to call sales department , now I’ve been on hold for about 25minutes ....let’s see if anyone ever picks up.
This Place was awesome! Abdullah, the service center advisor, was amazing! He took care of everything, I was in and out. They did not make me wait longer than my scheduled appointment and he explained the whole process to me. For the first time I felt like I was not lost in a service center! I will definitely go back to this location and recommend it to the people I know!!!
UPDATE;Paragon Honda management saw to take care of the matter and helped me in resolving the issue. It was a real pleasure dealing with them and they were really understanding of my situation, they approached me politely and offered to resolve the issue swiftly and positively. Really appreciate all the help, I picked up my car today in pristine condition all problems gone, smooth like when I bought it. I have to drive around 1 hour to get there but I wont hesitate to come for my next service, luckily my initial impression is definitely not what Paragon Honda represents, I recommend that if you have issues talk to them and explain the situation, there are people understandable and will do everything to help. My special thanks to Mike which took the matter in its own hands and solved all issues swiftly and with the best outcome. 100% recommend.Background:TL;DR - I brought my used Accord which was fine for a routine service check and oil change about three weeks ago. Now I have a $2000 repair bill from them that my extended warranty does not cover, since obviously it is all my fault.Brought my car on May 19th for a routine service check and oil change, car was fine and smooth without any major issues. After about 3 hours I pick up my car and immediately notice it is making a rattling sound, I thought it would pass... but it keeps doing it. So I bring the car to them again for inspection, now they say I have to change one of the tires, change all brake motors and pads O_o plus brake flush, plus wheel alignment. Totaling a $2000 repair bill, obviously nothing is covered in the extended warranty they so eager tried to sell me (my fault I was naive and actually though they would be a somewhat respectable dealership)Had call with Zaira today to try to understand, she was downright hostile from the beginning and would not offer much option or room for discussion.Quite disappointed with my first service experience with Paragon, even though I bought the car from them.I guess it is pretty much like this everywhere, but I would suggest to at least never take the extended warranty (pretty much useless) or dont buy from them to start with.
Denise Deas was exceptional today. She was polite, patient, and her professionalism was amazing. Not only did she explained everything to me thoroughly, she took the time to show me on the computer details about when my car actually needs servicing and she was able to spit a little intruder in my car. She also made me feel comfortable and that my car is in good hands with the mechanic. I highly recommend Denise and I give her high ratings for her friendliness and professionalism.
I have only been here once and I am not going back here again. I came for an oil change (cost $40) and was told that the technician recommended a transmission fluid service for $150 and a differential fluid service for $175. I was suspicious that I needed these services since my car only had 13,000 miles on it. I refused the service. The guy came back to me and said if I did both the transmission and differential service, he could write off the oil change. I asked if he could do better and he said, he could drop the full price down to $300 before tax. In a matter of minutes, something that they claim should have cost $365 came down to $300. I felt I was being hustled and have no way of knowing what the true cost should be. In the end, I decided to just stick with the oil change.
The staff is very professional. Specially the service adviser, Mr. Ron Singh. He deals customers professionally and efficiently. He is very polite and friendly. Furthermore, the service was quick. It took almost 30 mints or less for oil change. I dont know why people are posting so many negative reviews. I have a very good experience with Paragon Honda, and will strongly recommend to others.
Paragon’s employees really need to focus their attention on the customers when they walk in through their doors! I walked in to get my car back after a service. There are 10 employees in the room and not one, mind you NOT ONE person came forward to assist me. I just stood there for a good few minutes knowing well enough that more than half of them had seen me walk in and cared not to help me! Luckily a female employee sitting the farthest from the door I walked in through was kind enough to help me when she saw me. The 2 stars is really only because of this reason!
Updating my review because my service was completed (took much longer than expected). Can’t give 5 stars because I can only imagine the nightmare I face if and when another tire/rim needs repair and I don’t have a spare to work with. My spare is flat, we drove on it for 2 whole weeks and service cannot do anything about it apparently.
I would like to thank the service advisor whose name is Donna Arifi. Honestly, I don’t like going to Honda service because the wait and service time takes way too long. The last time I was here, it took me 5 hrs because they lost my car key. Donna wasn’t my service advisor but my original one just left me. She is the only one who efficiently helped me with care. She was very dedicated to her job and hard working. I’m really happy I met her, she was beyond helpful.
I don’t understand why it takes so long to get an appointment here. I’ve leased 3 cars from Paragon and over the years it’s gotten harder and harder to get in this place. Once upon a time, I’d call them about something under warranty and they’d say just bring it in whenever you can and they’d knock it out right away. Now I call them and they give me an appointment for two weeks from now at 11:30pm...sure, let me just get out of bed in the middle of the night to bring my car to the shop...Everyone here is very nice and they have always done a great job, but damn the convenience sure is dwindling.
This dealer has been in possession of my car for almost a month now for a problem that should only take a few days to fix. Also no one ever EVER answers the phone, they also wont return any of your calls even if they say they will. It took me an entire week of calling to find out that my original service advisor quit and I was never contacted by anyone about my car. This is honestly a shame, I have never experienced customer service like this in my entire life.
Never buy a car here. They make you buy all of this guarantee to be protected but at the end it is never what you think. I so regret to purchase a car here. There are very nice when they try to sell you the car but after you are stuck with it they dont help you. It was a horrible experience since day one. The manager at service was rude and unprofessional and told me he did not care about my situation. Do yourself a favor and go some please were your money is valuable.
My vehicle had an issue with its fuel pump door . Luckily I was serviced by Donna who was kind and professional. The issue was resolved 100% . She ordered the necessary part and was able to have it installed the next day . Thank you so much Donna & Honda . I highly recommend her!
I took my car to this service center to replace a rear shock still under warranty. They keep my car for three days on the shop for this small job . When I pick up my car I found de front bumper damaged and broken . They said is not their fault and that never happened before , however just read the reviews and judge by yourself what kind of place is this one.By the way the work environment on this place is far from professional , I could even smell marijuana inside my car when they delivered to me.Is sad because I like honda cars but sometimes you need to go to the service center and this is what you are going to face.Very bad experience.
Very courteous and fastThe service department is great but the parts department is not very good. They are racist and didn’t help me with a parts return. They assumed automatically because I am Muslim I was driving to TLC. They didn’t honor the warranty policy. I spent $600 on a alternator and it went bad in 4 months. There was a woman that gave me attitude and didn’t want to give her name . Very unprofessional.Avoid and go to Hillside . I will give it zero star but you can not do it.
Hidden fees, lousy service, scheming sales tactics, no personalized help or assistance through any type of servicing, questions or requests. Payment paperwork is intentionally intelligible. Would recommend avoiding this place at all costs as it really costs a lot of money to get any work done here.
Turns out I need more work done. The only thing I dont like is why there are always more work needs to be done when all I asked was an oil change. Usually the wait is longer than expected. 6 hours for an car inspection with appointment one time. Expect to spend the entire day no matter what the service is. One time I saw someone bring a pillow like is a sleep over.
Never came in service department. U will suffer lots of things here-: long wait , poor customer service etc. once u give ur car to them they don’t care about u. They behaved like u have no other work to do. Its my first time I came here because I think it’s near to me but know I think I did mistake not to go to Advantage Honda. Definitely they have better service than here. It’s my personal experience. Service advisor Carlos Copper to whom I met when I came here then after waiting for more than 3 hrs I went to ask him “how long it will more take” but he is not in the office then I tried to try to ask to other advisor but he don’t even listen me & said “u have to wait for him”. How stupid & careless staff they have. If possible I give them negative rating.So my friends, who read this don’t believe on me. Make a visit for service, u will agree with me.
Don’t bring your car here! Worst experience ever! They employees are too busy chit chatting to assist anybody. There is nobody at the front to help. My husband did everything online for a tow hitch installation. He made the appointment after getting confirmation that necessary parts were received. The employees were clueless as to what had to be done. They looked at me like I was talking a different language. An email confirmation was like a complicated equation for them. Completely unprofessional and frustrating. Go somewhere else and save yourself the aggravation.
This was my first time at the service center and let me tell you what to expect...1) Long wait time2) Poor custmer service3) Very deceitful individual (Im speaking about a particular service provider, Mike Garcia)4) Unhelpful service provider as well ( Kevin S. )5) Useless staffI went in to get an oil change then 12 hours later Im back in the center waiting to get my battery tested because my car did not start. I waited 1 hour and 35 minutes to check my battery. I was first told that it the battery test would not be long. After waiting an hour and fifteen minutes I was told the car would be ready in fifteen minutes. I went outside and saw my car parked to the side. I waited 15 minutes and no one came for my car. I had to talk to Mike again, and then they went searching for my car. The test took 5 minutes. I watched them do it. The worst part is they couldnt give me an idea as to why I needed to jump start my car.The biggest waste of time.I would have benefited more if I went somewhere else, like auto zone. Got a mechanic from the parking lot to check my car. When you come to place like this youre expecting great customer service, honesty, and trust. Thats not what I got on my two visits in one day.
Expect your wait time to be NO LESS than 3-4 hours. Even for an oil change at overnight hours. I came in at 1130pm for an oil change and didn’t leave until 430am. They’re always overbooked. I only give the two stars because of: 1. how many points their multi-point inspection covers and 2. Their reps are friendly, understanding, and gives you detailed information about what’s going on with your car. I highly recommend booking an appointment with Denise Deas. She answers all of your questions with no hesitation, double checks her answers just to make sure she gives you accurate information, and goes beyond what a service rep should do for you in regards to waiting and your service.
Paragon Hondas service department needs an overhaul of how they handle customer care. Since they provide my Honda service, Im stuck with them, and every visit in the last 2 years has been painful. It can be broken down as follows: Poor telephone communication (calling in to get a status update on your car is a nightmare; prepare to spend an inordinate amount of time), lackadaisical customer care once inside the facility and finally the chaos that it is to retrieve your vehicle once everything has been settled. And then once you get your vehicle, get ready to readjust your seat to the way you had it. Those are the things that have always gone wrong during my visit, and its not getting better in the age of COVID-19.
UPDATE: They need to make a new key since they misplaced it 🙃🙃Chris belram shows horrible hospitality. I will no be returning after my lease is over. For starters, the minute I brought my car in-- with an emergency, he did not want to take it. Saying its too busy meanwhile Im driving around with a flat tire and this is the THIRD time I returned for the same problem because the other times they were out of stock with the tire I needed. Never was I turned away when I came here in the past and had to PAY for something, I had top notch service. Every time i come for warranty problems, its a problem. Isnt that funny.And to top it off, while coming to get my car, one of the valet guys looked at our paper, had us wait for 15 minutes then someone else had to approach us. Thats when the guy who originally was helping gave that a guy nasty attitude.NOW, Im waiting for them to look for my car because apparently the numbers are mixed up and my keys are misplaced.Clearly, Chris never wanted to take my car because he kept giving excuses and he messed up when making the paper work.Thanks a lot for this service, would definitely not recommend this dealership to anyone.#sorrynotsorry #tryhillsidehonda #notparagon
I stopped in for service and was greeted with a smile and superb service from the moment that I arrived. Mike Garcia took excellent care of me from answering questions, giving an accurate ETA on my finish time, to providing Lyft service to and from the service center. Overall great experience.
Rated this place before with a 4 star rating, went there twice this month and the place is getting worse. I went there at 9 am, waited till 3 pm there for a simple oil change. Once it was inside the shop, the technician didnt start working on it, so it was there for half an hour before work started. 6 hours for a oil change is not acceptable. It was very hard to ask the service advisors about my vehicle, because they were rude and impatient. Honda should really do a quality check on this place because of the unprofessional service. There were others with me who were frustrated but our hands were tied.
First and foremost, Kevin Singh was amazingly helpful. He has integrity and was super diligent in communicating updates on my car’s status. I always feel apprehensive going into service places because of how commonly women get taken advantage of. So thankful to you Kevin that that was not the case here! He even managed to help get my car repaired sooner than anyone had projected when I came in as an emergency/walk in just last night. Go to Kevin! Will definitely come back to Paragon for future servicing.
Told me the car was ready. After a$35 Lyft there, service dept told me they didnt order the 1 part they needed and I would have to come back in 3 days. No attempt at an apology. In the 2 days they had the car I got 4 calls trying to sell me a new one. My wife got 6. Not one call about the service.
I went here because they deliver your car for free. When they were supposed to deliver my hair I waited beyond a 3 hour window. I called and they said they forgot to deliver it and didn’t know where the car was. The car was fortunately found and returned to me a day later but not something you want to hear.I have been asking for the service record of the car so I can track what has been done to the car and for a year nobody can seem to email them to me. Every other dealership is able to do this except this one for some reason and can not provide a reason for doing it. I get a run around of them saying how they will send it to me in an hour but still nothing.
I needed a battery change and they said they were closing in 40 min so I will need to drop it off for the day. A battery change doesnt require more then 40 minutes but I needed to get it done so I was like ok fine, Ill just drop it off. I went inside to inquire about pricing and all the agents didnt even look up from their desks and were chatting away with one another. Thanks for providing NO customer service at all to get a simple job done. I went to another auto shop with extended hours and my battery was replaced within 10 minutes and didnt require me to leave the car overnight.
I had an easy breezy experience at Paragon Honda. Marc Gittens is a super cool guy and made sure I was taken care of quickly. He explained very well the issues with my accord and let me know the possible issues I could face in the future if I didn’t take care of the issues ASAP. I will definitely be coming back again and he will be my service advisor for life! Thanks Marc!
Plead avoid this Service Agent CARLOS like a plague.This is my first google or yelp review and honestly feel bad to be giving a bad one. This was probably my third or fourth appointment at this service center. Since I bought the car at Paragon Honda thought it will be nice to get my car serviced here even though I live in Brooklyn. Their service has been good so far, in and out for oil change no biggie. But today I was appalled by the behavior of this service agent. His name is CARLOSSo this is how it started. I pulled in and dropped my car with the service technician and mentioned a minor thing (screw was missing in the thing that holds the front license plate) beyond routine maintenance. Inside the office all the service agents were busy, which is not an issue at all here. I completely understand you got to remain in line until you get seen by one of the reps.So I walked out of the office to the agent (who first saw me ) to ask him if he was able to relay the message to the mechanic before I went back in to see a service agent whenever one was free. NOW AGAIN I AM COMPLAINING ABOUT NOT BEING SEEN BY AN AGENT IMMEDIATELY. Then this guy CARLOS pops out of nowhere and starts talking in a very condescending manner. He yelled that the service agent is not going to come outside looking for me AND I NEED TO GET BACK IN IF I WANTED MY CAR FIXED. to which I replied I knew the process and was not there to complain about someone not being able to see me but was confirming if the mechanic knew of the screw missing situation.I was very appalled by the nerves CARLOS had to talk to customer like a moron and pushover. When i brought up this to the branch manager Mike or Michael, he just blew it off saying he was probably having a bad day. Instead of offering to make the situation right MIKE made it sound like customers have to deal with rude behavior like that and it is normal. NO WONDER THE RATINGS AT THIS SERVICE CENTER IS SUBPAR AND IS COMPLETELY WARRANTED.While I am NOT critical of their services I rate my experience very negative due to the behavior of this agent CARLOS
Made an appointment for oil change. Waited 2 hours. Ok fine. They asked me to do something else, and charge very expensively. Tire rotation: $50 when other shops do it for free with oil change. Wheel alignment for a new car??? Necessary??? Look, I am a newbie with cars, but why you are suggesting services that can be low cost and not necessary to your customers? Ill think twice before coming back. I ended up paying someone else $20 to do tire rotation instead of getting screwed by this place.
I called to make the appointment for oil change on 5/31 and was told the first availability would be 9PM on 6/20. I showed up on time. My service contact said the service would take up to 2 hours and I had to wait there. 2 hours later, he told me my car needed the state inspection and brake fluid change. Another 1.5 hours later, I could not find him and had to speak with other service contacts. They found my car and finally told me that they could not perform the inspection until next morning. I left the service center at 1AM without the inspection done. After I left, I found my wheel lock key was still on one of the wheel locks.
Multi point inspection took 5 1/2 hours which they told me would take 3. Costs $120 and when I finally picked up my car, I just realized one of my tail light went out because the guy had to pull my car out from the lot. So you can tell how thorough the inspection actually was... I did not even bother to go back and argue with them, just never again.The 1 star go to the guy in the office who input my info into the system. Hes alright
The worst place ever! Went there for three years. Two oil changes in their express service took four hours each time! I learned to leave the car for a full day for any work done. Manager say they do about 350 cars a day. They simply cant handle the load and cut corners. I had same work done twice for no reason, got the car back with loose bolts on the wheels, they tell you brakes are at 50% and thousand miles later say they need immediate replacement, total BS. Bunch of guys waking around while a single guy is servicing customers. They got signs all over about their excellent customer service. Look at these reviews! Are you kidding me? Complained via Twitter couple times, sort of worked, so please do the same if you need something done. Let Honda headquarters know how horrible this place is. I got fed up after last service and just leased a new car at another dealership. No more Paragon for me ever!
Horrible serviceI turn in my car for recall services, after waiting 5 hrs they said the car is ready for pick up, when I got into my car I realized the glove compartment doesnt close properly, I asked them to check it out they said no, it takes more than 50 parts to put one piece back together. They told me to find another day to drop off the car so they can fix. Totally waste my time, and now I got to come in my on own time just to drop off. So I have to pay for their mistakes.
I’ve been getting my car serviced here since I first bought it. The service is quick and I’ve had no issues with anything I’ve came in for. As for my most recent visit (which was today), David Bitterhoff was super accurate with his ETA on my car, very professional and helpful! Thanks, David.
I was nervous about booking an appointment here after reading the terrible reviews, but It was the most convenient place for me to take my car in for service. I had an appointment at 11:45 on a Sunday and showed up around 11:30. I gave them my information needed for oil change, filters replaced, and tire rotation. I was told it would take about 2 hours to complete. I left and walked down the street to get lunch and pass the time. I returned after 2 hours and sat in the waiting room for my car to be finished. I ended up driving off the lot 45 minutes later. Not the best service experience, but not nearly as bad as the reviews are on here.
Absolutely poor to be honest. Nothing much more to say. The work on my car was done but still had to wait 2 extra hours to recieve it. Then i find out whoever parked it, smashed my bumper against the wall and left huge scratches. The people who work there are super slow and non responsive. Such a sad state, never visiting again mor recommending anyone.
I took my car for a running board to be installed and Randy B was my service advisor. He was extremely profession on how he handled my situation. It was a very easy process and everything worked out in my best interest. My family and I have purchased 5 vehicles from Paragon Honda and they are by far the best team out there. Let me not forget to mention they are open 24 hrs, which is a hugh plus for all who doesnt work a 9-5 job. I will definitely be going back there to service my car. Thank you Randy for all your help and making this process a breeze for me.
Here I am waiting at 8:30 in the night to pick my car up for the last 25 minutes. Thats how long it takes for these people just to get the car from the freaking garage to the customer. Also, the old lady in the front is on her phone playing games. When i tried asking her how long it will take, she didnt even bother to look up from her phone to acknowledge my question. Such a contrast from the Paragon dealership.
I have had the worst time getting my car serviced at this location. I have unfortunately had the car for approximately 3 years now and thank god my lease is about to be over so that I can switch car company. The employees are rude and uneducated (not in a scholarly sense but in their approach on how to speak to others). Service times are exceptionally long (eg. at least three hours for an oil change) and you would have to wait in the uncomfortable ill kept waiting area. If your car may require repair expect the people to be aggressive in their sell/service tactics. The worst part is that they have employees from the sales department near the servicing area, as if anyone would want to buy a Honda after dealing with their service. I say avoid at all costs. This is coming from a healthcare professional in which caring is part of an every day practice, they simply dont care. I repeat...avoid at all costs.
This service place is the worst. Everytime I go there I have to wait 3 to 4 hours for an oil change. I went there today at 338AM with an appointment for 4 oclock and didnt leave till after 6 AM. There was also a recall on my 2019 CRV and these guys didnt even have the part for the recall. So when something happens is the service center responsible fir my safety. I waited for them to handle the recall and as my CRV sat there for more than 45 minutes and then I was told it couldnt be done. Then I was told the car was outside and walked outside about 4 times before my car just appeared. Was this guy joy riding in my car because it was no where to be found at the service center. I think this is my last time giving them my business. Paragon is quick to sell you a car but then I have to wait hours for an oil change. Smh
I made an appointment online and then went to this place 15 min early as a courtesy. I have waited 3 hours for a simple oil change! After waiting bit over 2 hours, I started to see people whom arrived before me started to leave with their vehicle, I asked an employee about the status of my car and after 30 min my car came out; clearly they started to work right after I made a complaint. Whats the point of making an appointment if I have to wait 3 hours? This place is ridiculous, I will never spend a penny on this place.
The service for an oil change and tire pressure light being on was amazing. The staff got my car in and out under one hour. The staff was friendly and helpful. Abdullah took my car in and entered it in the system fast to have it started get fixed. Chris also was able to answer questions for me and then take the car into the shop under 20 mins. All the service was fast reliable and in better words the best i have gotten from the honda paragon service department. Highly recommend any honda driver to come here.
I came here with my cousin to buy parts for my uncles car. They had no staff at the front desk until waited for an half hour. Then I saw a guy walking around and I called him. He served us and answered our questions then he went to eat his food. When I called him again because I wanted to place the orders, he raised his shoulders and swearing for not having his food. We told them we would not place the order from him and we left to buy the parts in another dealership. Please avoid this dealership. Trash service! and they dont mind to show you their ugly faces!
The employees at paragon Honda are the most dishonest and unprofessional people I have ever experienced. Specifically, the service folks continuously lie about the status of your vehicle. Please do not expect a call back from the manager or service representative either. I dropped my vehicle off for a simple steering diagnostic for the night service and they expressed it would be ready in the morning. I waited until about 11am and called for an update. They said I would receive a call back but never did. I called again at 2pm and again they said a manager will call with an update. Nothing yet. Please, please stay away from paragon Honda service. They do not value their customers and rank your vehicle and work based on how much $$$$$ they can make. For a recall, be prepared to wait 2-3 days. They promise you the world and deliver nothing. Save yourselves from the headache and stay away from paragon Honda service.
Wait for an oil change was an hour, but the service was reasonable and everyone was polite. Hour is typical for most places Ive been to so whatever. Weeknights dont seem to be too crowded and this is the first service center Ive been to that has a fancy coffee machine and IMac stations in the waiting area. They could have a few more representatives manning the reception area.
Brought car to diagnosis P0171. Was told needed a valve adjustment. Then told valve cover gaskets were leaking. Was charged 4 hours labor. Later found out it should have only been around 3 hours labor. Suggest repair didnt fix the code, they also installed the valve cover gaskets incorrectly. So oil still leaked. Never going back there
Got here at 4:50 needing a new headlight. Its now 7pm. I got a call 20 min or so after dropping the car from the sales department asking if I was interested in getting an offer to buy my used CRV but nothing about the service I dropped the car off for. Called about 6 oclock to see what was going on and was told that my rep, Chris Balman was with another customer and would call me back. He didnt end up doing that because he clocked out shortly after getting my information. Nobody picked up my car either as Im still waiting here over 2 hours later with a vague promise that my car will be ready soon. WTF
Every time I come to Paragon Honda service center Randy always takes care of me. Let’s me know everything that I need in details and keeps me updated on how everything is going with the car. Even told me my car had a recall for something I didn’t even know of. Definitely recommend coming to this service center and being helped out by Randy. Very friendly, fast service!
They are bunch of scammers in here they tell you something is covered come in 3 hours and pickup your vehicle but after 4 hours you get a call saying that you need to pay $500 charging me for 4 hours of labor for a 2 hour job by theeating me to void my warranty by so called super salesman nick the top scammer. Ericbert who was my adviser lied at my face a few times I recommend to not go to this location. Because the way the conduct business is scammy they take your car in tell you to wait 3 hours to pick up but then 2 hours later they’ll tell you to pay 400 or 500 or call insurance to upsell and make more out of you. I am not the only person they did this too there was another guy that went through the exact same situation as myself. They are a bunch of rude people and scammers that fool you for an extra commission.

Someone who knows how to manage needs to find good workers to work in service and not young boys who don’t value a job and walk around with their AirPods in their ears or blasting Kanye West on the speakers through out all of the service department at 7AM!!!
You wont get top-notch customer service here. Thats true for all NYC businesses. But the work that they do is pretty awesome. Never felt something was wrong after the service was done here. For example, I had my Honda serviced in a Jersey City Honda dealership once with wheel alignment though I didnt need it but did it as part of the 20,000 miles service. They basically broke the alignment of the wheels and I had to redo it to fix that issue. But I never had such issues at Paragon Honda.
Don’t even live in the area but I needed my recall done and my oil changed so I can hit the road again. I was in an out within 2 hours great lobby with coffee and football. Special shoutout to Abdullah understood my situation and couldn’t have been more helpful! Definitely will be returning. Whenever I am in the area.
Took my pilot there 3 times, never had a leak after thorough inspection each time. They worked on the engine, did full line timing belt, water pump, sensors, alternator belt, seals, etc... still, everything was fine with my truck and no leak was reported to me. A month later I took my car there for an oil change and a transmission fluid replacement and I was told, out of nowhere, that I had an oil leak in the engine and it would be another costly repair since they claimed that it was not part of the job they did. I didnt take my car back there since then, and I never will.
I came in to get my wheel locks changed because i was going to go somewhere else for my brakes and my consultant Abdullah Zaher made me feel at ease and comfortable with the price. He assured me that the job would be done correctly. From now on I’ll never go to an outside vendor again for my Honda. My brakes were done they sent me home and then sent the car to my job the next day without a hitch. Everything was perfect!!
I wouldnt give them any stars if I could. Im currently sitting here waiting for my car. Its been over an hour since I came in with an express appointment. This is my second visit here and the first one lasted almost 2.5 - 3 hours! I thought the express appointment would be faster but it doesnt seem likely!When I asked whats the point of making an appointment at all I was told, its to make sure your car is even looked at. When asked whats the point of an express appointment they told me, they have separate express mechanics thatll work on your car once its in the shop but it takes time getting the car into the shop.So I have to wait 2 hours to get my car in the shop for an oil change that take less than 10 minutes.If I hadnt bought the maintenance package when I got the car I wouldnt come anywhere near this place.Definitely the last time I come here!

I have CRV 2017 n the milage in my crv is about 26 thousand miles. The problem was all the sine lights were on in my dashboard. They inspected my car which took about 3 hours, then to fix it more 3hours. After 6 hours of waiting we paid about 650$ to fix the problem. On our way back all the sine lights started blinking again. We returned there next day. And another 3 hours of wait. They did the inspection again. And couldnt give me any answers why it was keep happening. So in first place why they had to inspect my car twice in 24 hours? Second why they charged me 650$ if they couldnt solve the problem.They just wanna make money. Thats it. Service is 0000
I dont usually take time to write reviews, but this needs to be add along with the others. 2 hour wait time for simple routine service. I brought it in at my scheduled 6:30pm appointment. Whos going to stick around for 2 hours on a Monday night!? They scratched my door after getting it back....sure they said they would fix it but good luck getting a loaner from them. Overall painful experience. Also make sure you brush up on your Spanish because thats all they speak.

On Friday by 2pm I didnt get a call so I called them. They couldnt find my paperwork. I was left on hold for about 10 minutes. I called back, I was transferred to another location where no one answered. I called back again I speak to Chanel, she gives me the wrong information, I asked to speak to a supervisor and she hung-up the phone on me. I hope they are paying Chanel less than minimum wage because thats what she deserves. She has no customer service skills, no phone etiquette and is definitely not knowledgeable on her job.
I went to change my car oil there on 20th November. I received my service from Ericbert Vasquez. He is very friendly and gentle in nature. He listened carefully with patience about what I wanted. Afterwards he showed his professionalism with the servicing they provided. It was very fast and did not have to wait long hours. I would say Mr. Vasquez is a highly trained professional. I have hardly received such quick service with this level of expertise. I was really amazed with my experience here and with the performance of Mr. Vasquez.
Terrible. I made an appointment and told them on the phone that I would wait for the oil change. I show up and they tell me it will take 3 hours!! They say it got busy, they accept walk in customers. Why accept appointments if youre going to let walk in customers back everything up? Why accept walk ins if you book appointments? Honda service centers are terrible.
Went to service for my brand new Odyssey 2018 just after a month which had minor wiper blade issue. Waited 3hrs in night with family. After that, i asked the worker whats going on, hes like Oh we dont have the blade so looking for another wiper from which we can transfer. After 15 min comes and says cars ready. After driving a while and testing the wiper, it was same issue. Wiper blade was not changed. Ridiculous!! . And the whole 3hrs,i was looking at the car from the waiting area, it was just parked at one spot and nothing was done. If you didnt have the part, why take the car in and have me and family waiting till 2am in night. I couldve just order it online or go to another dealer and install my self.
I had an appointment which is a week away and I dropped by to check if I could get it done. And they arranged to get my car serviced. And to my surprise, I was told there was a recall and it will be fixed too. And all this thanks goes to my service advisor Kevin Singh. Thank you to everyone at Paragon Service Centre.
Went to Honda Paragon today without an appointment because my tire pressure light was on and without question they took great care of me. Mark Gittens was extremely helpful, patient, and made sure that all my car requests were meet. He was professional but yet approachable. Thank you for the outstanding customer service!! I’ll be recommending Paragon to all my Honda and Acura drivers
The first time I went to Paragon for the airbag recall and they were really good about everything.The second time I got the plastic undercarriage replaced and they gave me an oil change I didnt need. I let it go because it went smoothly otherwise.Then there was my recent visit when they totally discredited themselves. First they pretended a buyer was interested in my car, which is not a sweet ride, and aggressively tried to get me to do a trade in.When I said no thanks they hit me with a ridiculous $2000 estimate. Clearly an attempt to scare me into a trade-in. I said Id take my business elsewhere and they demamded 150 for diagnosing the problem. I wont be back.
I left a nice long review on paragon itself and my overall experience but now that I actually have my car back after more than 24hrs (without my consent) for just an oil change, I’d like to add to the fact that my car was returned with some kind of white debris all over my back seat as if someone was transporting construction materials in my back seat .I wash my hands with this place.I’m LIVID.
I have been trying to call and schedule a service for over a week now. I used the Message Me service to request a service appointment, and no one called me back. I tried calling the 1(888) number, and they don’t pick up the phone or when they hang up after they pick up! Honestly, what’s up with that!
Let me tell you something about these people here i took in my 2015 accord to get new rotors and brakes in March it is now august and since day 1 of getting them fixed when i applied the brakes it felt as if the brake pads was scratching the rotor i called and told them the issue they said it was normal they are just breaking in. The problem continued and i see some unnormal wear on the rotor for a brand new rotor. Long story short is that they never switched the pads just the rotors and they charged me $1,700 for this and didnt even think bout this is indangering my life and my families life if i could give these people 0 stars i will just horrible.
The service that i received today from Mr. Jose Rojas at Paragon Honda was exceptional. Being in the service business myself, i recognize and appreciate this level of service. Jose was very courteous, very efficient and more importantly, was precise with his estimated time of completion, as it was a determining factor if i would be late for work or not.I bought my first Honda from Paragon in 1984 and since then an Odyssey and a CRV ad the service today was the exceptional.Continued success Mr. Rojas and thank you Paragon Honda.Sincerely,Nick Tavantzis
Very slow service. 2 and 1/2 hour for fixing, recall service, my car (even I reserved my appointment 2 weeks ago, not walk in) After paid, I waited another 30 minutes to get my car. I complained a man who brought me my car, then he used inappropriate word behind me(I heard f*** word) So rude.
On April 24, 10 AM, I arrived at the paragon repair shop to fix a problem with my car. I told a worker, Daiberth Brujan about it. He said that it will take approximately 2 & 1/2 hour to get the job done. I stayed at the waiting room and around 2 in the afternoon, it had been 4 hours. This man then brought this blue paper to the waiting room. The system there works in a way that the worker calls the name of the customer to hand in the blue paper and if they are not there, they call or text to serve as a reminder. However, he didn’t call for anyone and after 1 hour, I left to ask at his question again. My paper was on top of his desk but he wasn’t there. Allegedly, the paper stated that everything was ready at 12:57. This means that I was there for 2 more hours for no reason. I have gone to the workshop various time and the worker always notifies and calls the person at the waiting room when the job is done; this man quietly came to the waiting room and then returned. In total, the whole thing took 5 and 1/2 hours. I’m not directing this negative feedback to anyone, only this rude worker by the name of Daiberth Brujan. I don’t even know why such individuals that care so little and have such an attitude regarding what’s required as the job position in that they are, have the job in the first place. This guy treated me with the least of respect and looked down on me. Even after confronting him, he pretended to not know and then even stated that he “texted me” when there was nothing. Not only does this show how careless he is but also his high level of ignorance. I hope that such behavior is directed less towards customers in the future. Someone could be in an emergency and the amount of care that this worker gave really shocks me.
Helpful with everything but the bumper...He was not in that day, so I guess he was the only person who does this repair. Nice staff and there is a waiting room with Tvs. Second visit... Not so good took an hour (with an appointment ) it still hasnt been touched. May need a better dealer. To top it off the bumper still is not properly attached to the car so I will need to make another visit. Smh
I had an appointment today for servicing. I went there and there was 10 cars in line ahead of me waiting. Dont you guys understand the meaning of word appointment? What is the point of giving me an option of day and time if you dont care enough to take...care of you clients in timely fashion. Why do you overbook? This was disgusting experience. I was actually planing to buy new Honda soon, but with this kind of disregard to customer service, should I give you more business?
Worst dealership EVER. I went there for an oil change and an inspection they told me so many things is wrong with my 2018 vehicle and will not pass inspection unless I fixed all the issues that will cost (1124) for a new vehicle lol these people are a joke. there should be no stars they over price everything you pay for warranty and then tells you your warranty doesn’t cover it then they over charge u for everything. They never have a loaner for you to drop your car off. It’s impossible to get through to them. I honestly give up
Went today(12AM Appt.) for oil change and tire rotation and it went well. Before I went I began reading the reviews about the place and became a little worried/concerned about how it would go and how long it would take. When I got there, there were a lot of patrons/customers in their cars waiting for service. I did not like the looks of that. I waited in line for a few minutes then exited my car to ask one of the workers for help. I told the usher that I had a 12AM appt. and to my liking he said okay bring the car up. I brought the car up and he began writing my cars info on a fill-in sheet. I left my keys with him then met with one of the service advisers in the office. He typed some info in the computer and asked me if I would wait for it. I asked how long it would be and he said about 2hrs... In my mind I thought woah 2hrs for oil change??? I then answered sure Ill wait for it then he gave me paperwork then I proceeded to the waiting area. There were a few people there already that seemed a little impatient so I prepared myself for a lengthy wait. Anyways, I waited... half hour went by... 45 minutes went by... a little over 1hr threshold went by and then I heard my name called out and alas my car was ready. I expected to wait much longer for it especially from the looks of the other customers faces and body language. I guess it is best to book a late appt. and of course if it is for something lengthier than oil change, you can expect to wait a bit longer. Four stars because the waiting area could use some TLC...
Had the worst Honda service experience here at Paragon. Had to come for an airbag replacement due to a recall. The letter explained how the process takes 45 minutes. Okay. I check in my car, and am told it will take 3-4 hours by two men. I was to get the airbag replaced, and they said a complementary multipoint inspection was included. Awesome.FIVE hours go by, so I ask about my status. I needed to wait an additional 1/2 hour to find out. Then I am told that I need 4 things fixed with my car. NO WAY, I have been waiting enough, its time for dinner, I want my car back.So my service advisor says fine, gives me the paper work to get back my car. I check out with the desk, and am told to go to the front entrance where my car is waiting. It is not there. I waited. And waited. Then a man asks to see my papers. He leaves. I wait. He comes back again, this time to write down my number. I wait. Another man asks to see my paper. I wait. Then the first guy comes back to ask me for the THIRD time for my paper, and this time takes it with him. Surely my car will come back to me now.NO. I make myself known to the staff. It has been almost a WHOLE HOUR that I have been waiting for my car. Then the first worker showed up again.... told me he had given my paper to someone else. WHOOO?!? It was as if one hand didnt know what the other was doing. They were CLUELESS.What was supposed to be a 45 minute... or 4 hour wait, became a SEVEN HOUR WAIT. Never again. Take care of yourselves. Ill bring my business to a more reliable Honda service center.
I just got here to drop my father off to pick up his car from the service. Incredible rude employee said I cannot park here. And point and said “Outside”, like he is commanding me. But I see everyone else parking here. In fact another customer just drove off at the spot where he parked. Racist trash
Great service. Went to another shop prior to this to check out a noise and was told I needed to replace my brakes. Was skeptical about it so i brought it to this Honda Service Center for a second opinion and Kevin told me my shield behind the brakes were bent and just needed to be adjusted. Best of all i was not charged for it, thank you Kevin and Paragon Service Center
I got a flat tire on the Grand Central Parkway after dropping someone off at LGA, and stopped in at Paragon Honda, unable to get home to Connecticut on my donut spare. My experience was simply stellar. My service advisor, Mike Garcia, totally made my day by arranging for my tire to be plugged at no charge. A serious kindness to someone stranded away from home. My spouse and I already service our cars at our local dealership, and Mr. Garcia reinforced our commitment to Honda and to Honda service centers this evening. This level of customer service from Honda service advisors is what keeps us coming back. They will take care of you.
Great service, great experience. When to paragon honda service department for a quick lube service and i got my tire fixed as well. I really apreciated the fact that they found out that my tire was leaking without me having to tell them, thanks to alex t for the great professionalism.
Id give them 0 stars if I could. I got a maintenance light after they had changed my oil 2 weeks ago. I go again today they try to convince me that theyre super busy and want me to do another oil change after 2 weeks!I insist on having them fix it after 2 hours a clown comes to me and says its done but youve got to hurry and get your car out of the street or itll get towed.I go see the manager and he tells me it isnt ready yet. They take the car back in and tell me they will deliver the car once its done.We get a ride home at 1pm I get a text at 7 that my car is on its way.It is now 9:50pm still no car and I cant get in touch with anyone there.AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE YOU WOULD A RABID NYC RAT because that is how Id describe this place.
I took my car to get a flat fixed. I told them that Costco needed to replace the tire. So they went ahead and plug the tire at Paragon Honda and a day later the tire had a slow leak and I had to go back for a replacement again. I just wish they would have done it the right way the first time as Costco had recommended. Another time with the tire insurance, they said they only work 9 to 5 that the salesman sold me. It takes more work and time and effort to make the claim then what it takes to fix a tire. Theyre very inconvenient and require a lot of paperwork phone calls and permission from the insurance. On a CRV you required to change at minimum two of the tires because of the all-wheel drive as to the manufacturer. They only change one tire and I had a fuss about changing the other Tire on the same axle. So to change one tire it took me 8 hours plus 15 minutes to just get my car. Their excuse is they are very busy I guess they want Les business!
Came there for a recall about the middle row seats and to make a spare key. Over the phone they promised it will be done in an hour and a half and I made an appointment. Came there and there was a huge line and a guy says I dont know who promised you that but itll be next morning only!!So I had to leave the car overnight.I give 4 stars only because they actually brought me the car next morning, so I didnt have to go there again.
The positive thing about this place is that they are open 24 hours, the service associates are not pushy about selling you additional service. They do serve breakfast in the morning. The bad thing about this place is that they are over crowded and it just did not make sense in my head why I went in there 4 in the morning and got out at 9 am just for an oil change!
The whole team is absolutely great. Mark i give him 15 stars. Hes very patient and such a great salesman and very helpful. David is very very helpful and very very clear explaining things. Let’s just say she put me on hold so long, that when she came back she told me it was too late to even pick up the car. I was a block away from the center. It was 8:28 and they did not let me take my car home.Had to take a two hour train ride to work. And have to take a 3 hour train ride back to them to pick up my car. Just do the oil change yourself. You’ll probably do it faster even if you have to YouTube it. Trust me.
They fixed in 24 hours (less even) what bay ridge honda spent 54 days (yes, almost 2 months) trying to fix. Theyre busy, so expect a bit of wait from when you pull up till you meet with the service adviser, but theyre on the ball with it. Everything flows like clockwork. Friendly and helpful staff went out of their way to ensure Id know who to reach about my car despite some vacation time one person had. Text message updates about your cars status.Oh, and did I mention they did in one day what the terrible service center at bay ridge honda couldnt fix in two months??? (It was a water leak for those curious)Oh, and theyre open 24 hours. Amazing!
Worst customer service i have ever seen. I go there, i stand there for like 5 minutes and nobody even cares, they are mostly on their cell phones or gossiping and you are standing there for them to get free from their gossip.Actually went there to fix my tire, waited for 2 hrs and they said its done. Went home , woke up the next morning , getting ready for work and its flat again. So went there again and i asked them to help me faster but no, made me wait another 2 hrs , and when i got mad , they are the ones showing attitude. Good job paragon honda. Never going back again

2022-06-13In May, I took my car to their company to repair the problem of water leakage. After checking, they said that the water pipe was blocked and had been dredged. But Ive been told my car before they have hydrophobic through pipes, so many times but still leaking. As soon as I get to rainy day in June and I take my car to Honda again to repair leaking problem, after 2 days, Monday, a customer service phone told me, the mechanic need to open the roof to check, to find out what cause of the car is leaking, the cost of the open roof need $477, Other car‘s part and fees are extra.What?to find out the problem need to cost 477$!Why not do it in the begging? I decided not to repair my car at Honda. When I took my car back, they did not put the removed parts back to the original position, wasting my time and money and doubting their professionalism.

2022-04-16I wish there there negative stars as an option. Horrible horrible service.I brought my car for a TPMs light and they charged me 400 dollars to fix it but the light came back the next day. (Also they made a dent in the side of the car). I brought the car again and they wanted me to pay 750 dollars to replace the rest of the tires sensors which I declined.I also paid for an oil change and they included a charge for washer fluid, which I checked as soon as I left but it was empty which got me thinking if they really changed the oil.I also have to mention that 4 different people from Honda dealership called me telling that they are interested in buying my car.

2022-06-06Had my car in at 9 am for an oil change and got a text my car was ready at 2. I come at 4 and wait 30 mins outside. The mechanics are telling me that they are trying to find my keys and it’s over there. I look back someone just came back from joy riding my car for 1.8 miles without my permission. Never coming back here again even tho it’s a “free” oil change.

2022-06-21Paragon Honda has both a good place to get boxes, your service and everything the only found out myself at the bathroom door was broken and it was never broken before so thats just a little thing but its great for customer service is fantastic and if they say they have departure me they do have it

2022-03-14Everyone is dressed in suits and ties but somehow no one is doing any work.They’re quick to swipe your card and take your money but are clueless and work at a snails pace. Stay away from this place unless you want to babysit adults for hours.

2017-09-15This facility doesnt belong in this neighborhood. This is a highly residential neighborhood. There are many pedestrians and the Honda employees drive the cars like race cars and DO NOT heed the rules of the road. I have almost been hit by their mechanics pulling cars out of the parking lot bc they just roll through into the street without considering people walking by on the sidewalk. This happens often to many pedestrians, some with children. They park cars on the sidewalk. They block the new bike lane by having cars coming in and line up waiting their turn. In some cases they cone off the bike lane (pretending to be courteous) but then the long line of cars sit in the traffic lane so traffic flow is compromised. If that isnt enough, they then take the excess cars they cannot fit in their parking lots and hog up the residential parking on EVERY block within a 10 block radius. Honda as a corporation is reducing the quality of life in this neighborhood. The drivers speed when driving around and they believe they are above the law and dont wait for the red lights. Paragon has many facilities on Northern Boulevard and this facility should be operating in the same area as the others. They are an eyesore and a disturbance in this neighborhood. Especially with their bright lights they leave on all night and shine directly in the windows of residents in the neighborhood and they are now doing business on a 24 hr clock. Honda needs to find a larger space to use for their service center which Im sure has to be available somewhere in a more industrialized area. Residents shouldnt have to park 3-5 blocks away and have to lug their groceries and children home while their cars take our parking. We pay good money to reside here and are entitled to a quality of life in this neighborhood that suits us. Qe are the one who support the neighborhood with our commerce, NOT a Honda service center. Lastly, the employees are rude and ignore us as if we are insignificant. I would give them zero stars if it were possible.
