So glad to see a Paris Baguette open up in Forest Hills. This location is spacious, clean and right off the subway station. The prices are comparable to what you would find at Marthas. Theres less options than Marthas but the service is a lot faster. The cakes are very cute and light, as you would expect from a Korean bakery. And the coffee is delicious.
If I could give 0 stars I would. It’s my birthday today and my husband ordered a cake for pick up, and when he arrived they did not write happy birthday on it. Which is not a big deal right, easily correctable on the spot but the guy behind the counter refused to help. And instead was condescending to my husband and said, “we can’t do it, 2 days before a holiday we don’t write messages”, “you think you can do it, go ahead here’s a biscuit” and so my husband did do it himself but asked for an extra biscuit since he couldn’t fit the entire message on 1 biscuit and the guy refused again. When asking for a manager the manager said we have to charge you $10. So because you missed writing the message you now charge the customer for it. My husband being way nicer than I am, went ahead and said ok. But even then the manager kept saying you want to pay, you sure, you’re going to pay?I mean is this what customers are to expect from this location?! I will never support this location again and encourage others to go to other locations where customer service actually matters. The world is already so jacked up, do I really want to support a business that can’t even be accountable for a simple thing?!
When you go here the word No stays outside the door. Once you look at all their pastries and desserts, you will want to take them all! There are so many to choose from you will likely find a few that you love and hardly ever leave with just one. They give you these trays and a set of thongs to go around and choose. I love their croissants with strawberry slices, berry tarts, and the iced horchata latte.
I give it a 1 just from my last experience, other than that Ill give it a 4 from past experiences.Yesterday 11/5/21 it was my daughters 8 bday she likes chocolate so I got the chocolate strawberry cake. It tasted like it had liquor in it.Good thing I bought 2 different cakes from this store that day. 😒
I have been a customer of this shop since they first opened a few years ago and usually spent over $300-$500 a month on average. Sunday night, I stopped by to get two cups of Cappuccino and a pack of bread. I requested extra foam on my Cappuccino when placing an order. My order was ready in less than 30 seconds, so I took my cups of Cappuccino and walked home to drink them with my wife. When we took the lids off, we noticed the Cappuccino looked just like a regular coffee since there was no foam at all. I was very disappointed so I picked up the phone and called and spoke with someone who claimed he was an acting manager. I figured since I have been a regular customer of this shop, it would not be an issue, and they will accept the mistake and compensate me in some fairway. Well, I was wrong. The Acting Manager refused to accept any mistake made by them. He claimed their Cappuccino is always like the way I was given. It doesnt come with any foam at all. First, that was not true. I always got my Cappuccino from the same shop with foam and mostly with extra foam. When I insisted that my Cappuccino always had the foam on it, he got agitated and got extremely rude, and hung up the phone. Im disappointed at the behavior and the ill-treatment. This is terrible customer service, and I would never go back to this shop again.
While the menu is limited for meals, the sandwiches and salads are always fresh and very delicious. Their desserts and bakery items are what they are truly known for, and those items are generally great. I personally love the blueberry chiffon cake and their lavender matcha frappe.
Paris Baguette is mainly a coffee shop and bakery, but they also have a nice selection of savory items. All nicely packaged. Prices and calorie counts clearly posted.Theyre open for take-out. No outdoor dining. No delivery from this location as far as I can tell--the Yelp link just redirects you to other branches.I got the chicken Caesar baguette and soft cheese cake. The baguette was nice. The cheese cake wasnt really cheese cake as I expected, but rather Japanese cheese cake. I feel like they should have used the more common name (Japanese cheese cake) or posted a better description.
I come by this location at least once a week and they always have a wide variety of pastry selection. Their pastries, sandwiches, cakes and drinks are all tasty. Their service has been good up until yesterday.I came by to pick up some pastries and drinks and paid with a $20 bill. At the register it’s written that they do not accept $100 bills. Sure, the $20 bill was an older design. But it wasn’t ripped, stained or crumpled in anyway. However, the worker took one look at my bill and said that they don’t take older bills and requested for me to pay with a card. I’ve never had this problem at Paris baguette prior to yesterday and I don’t see any written statements about discrimination against older bills. Right after the incident, I went to the chase up the block and confirmed that the $20 bill was a valid currency. I was able to use the $20 bill at a restaurant down the block. If you don’t want counterfeit money, I suggest you invest in a pen or a machine that can distinguish the difference instead of discriminating customers for it.
Honestly, I would not go back. The best thing is the croissants and you can run next door for starbucks coffee. The other stuff isnt great. My husband did not like anything. Waste of money to be honest. Nice people. Cute and clean set up, but not a fan of the baked pastries/breads stuff. The mini garlic croissants were sweet which was odd! My husband and I had to throw them out. I would never go back there, sorry! Staff at register was sweet though. To be fair I have not yet tried their cakes, maybe one day I will I dont know. I heard their cakes are great.
Great place & employees are so friendly. I definitely recommend it. Its a very 😋delicious place 2 treat yourself or love ones. Surprise the person you love or a family person .everyone that work in the company are amazing .One of my favorite place 2 eat 🙏 for your great work ❤.
This location in particular has terrible coffee (based on 3 different attempts across 6 months). Let me be clear: Im a devoted fan. Ive been to 8 different Paris Baguettes, in NYC and abroad, and their coffee is consistently outstanding. This locations coffee tastes like its been sitting on the burner for 5 hours. Everything else, the food, cleanliness, and friendly staff is amazing, as expected. Do something, please!
Adorable shop with delicious pastries like all others. Only caveats are that it doesnt serve coffee because a lease arrangement with Starbucks but there is plenty of tea and other drinks to have with your pastry or small food menu. In addition, there isnt too much seating available but it is comfortable (probably about 18 people?) Im giving it good marks because its an excellent bakery and respect that its meant to be a satellite store and also handles some extra traffic if you cant get I to Marthas.
Pretty good croissants, especially the chocolate croissant. Im glad I ate it at more quiet location like this compared to Paris Baguette locations in Manhattan because I felt like a messy slob eating it (because most of the chocolate is on the outside) but thats probably just my anxiety talking. Im sure I just looked like a person eating a slightly above average croissant. I havent tried their coffee yet but Ive been meaning to.
Even though this is not the best place to get healthy meals, you can find some salads & sandwiches that will not totally ruin your diet. If youre looking for comfort food or want an exceptionally tasty snack, this is definitely the place to come! I had just a plain croissant & found it very flavorful & fresh!!! The coffee was piping hot & smooth. This is a wonderful place to come for a light & tasty snack or meal. This restaurant is handicap-friendly. I highly recommend this place!
Five months into the pandemic, cashier still grabbing breads and credit card by bare hand (right after handling cash bills from previous customer). How hard is it to use a pair of food clamps for the breads, and to upgrade your pos machine so customers can make the payment themselves?Shocked and will not return to this store.
This is the best bakery! Their selection is large and theres something for everyone. Try the Royal Pudding, the mini garlic croissants, the vegetable croquet, the cheese bread, the mini blueberry or raspberry tart, the crunch sandwich one of their salads some coffee, everything is great here. Stop by and give them a try, you will find your new crown jewel
They got the best cakes on the planet! Try their sponge cakes and you can feel the love Paris Baguette makes their cakes with. On top of that, each of their bakery items tastes so fresh. You always get ample of options to choose from at Paris Baguette. I have never tried ordering any customized cakes from here, so not quite sure if they make customized cakes. But if they do, one should definitely try. Some cute gestures from this bakery brand include the packing of their products, the complementary goods (candles and cake knives), and many more to count. Coz I got a big family, I keep ordering something from PB all year around. My fam loves PB. A huge thank you to the guys who put in so much efforts to make it a worthy purchase to each of its customers. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
At the old location of Radio Shack. It just recently open for business when we visited. Sitting area is quite large. Selection is as usual but a bit less variety , might just be because they just opened. Also they didnt have hot drinks when we visited so instead we received vouchers for free drinks for the next time😁 very friendly and happy staff. 4 stars for now.
Was greeted by manager as she was restocking items. I inquired about two products. She said the hash brown wrap was very good as well as one of the stores bestseller . I purchased it and asked that it be warmed. Cashier accommodated my request On a scale of 1-5 I give my dining and meal experience a 3.5...
This place has a great space and a decent amount of seating for a great view of the street while sipping on your coffee. Only thing that disappoints is the lack of espresso based beverages at this location. I was shocked. The one in Flushing and the large on on Northern Boulevard have more options and espresso.
I used to be a regular customer and purchase their croissants that were incredible and other items. Now, they decided to significantly reduce the size of them for the same price. I dont like this penny pinching and they lost a customer. Very disappointed and wont be buying there again.
This is the worst Paris in New York. They made me drink coffee cold and dark. They refused to provide warm milk and they wanted extra money for warm milk. They made me drink the worst cup of coffee and they were so rude. I’m never going there for a cup of coffee again. They have to bare in mind that Starbucks is next door and their customer service is amazing. The management is very rude.
About two weeks ago, at this very bakery, Paris Boulangerie, at 3 pm, I bought two “choux cream bread,” one of my favorites. I was so happy because I love this kind of bread and I was hungry. Unfortunately the first bite totally disappointed me, because it was not only a stale bread, but all dried out. When compared to other decent bakery stores, I have never had such an experience, particularly with this kind of Japanese well known type of bread. I can’t but think that this particular “Choux Cream Bread” that I purchased that day was a left over from the day before, unfortunately.Kevin
I was in this place and the food it was amazing but service it was disgusting, specially for the guy from de counter he had really bad attitude and answer me the rude way if he doesnt want people there he needs move a other place. I hear someone call him as carl or carlos.
Over hyped bakery. Im honestly not a fan and although sometimes I still order from them, I have yet to learn my lesson. Everytime I am disappointed by taste and experience. Today, I ordered whats labeled as a mocha slice only to be told there is none. I point out to the slice I want, am asked if it is the slice I want, and while Im answering yes, theyre throwing it back into the display case.
Lots of good fattening pasteries here. They are a little pricy but they are good. They are not allowed to sell espresso because of the Starbucks next door. I dont drink coffee so no problem. I like their frappe and latte teas better anyway. My favorite is melon coconut. Theres some healthy options but you are in an Asian influenced French bakery. Get their pasteries!
A greatly well stocked 《pâtisserie française》serving up their own Signature Coffee blend alongside the café styled ambiance of visually stunning picture perfect baked goods. Seating is nominal in the early morning rush hours and everything usually sells out by the end of the day.Luscious cakes and mouth-watering delights are packed freshly made on every shelf everyday --- each one having its own brand of bakers on-site. A veritable retreat from the multitudes and popular for its Continental delicatessen sandwiches, salads, and hot coffee drinks. Easy on the pocketbook. Easy on take-out !A really wonderful place for studying, work, good conversation, and/or lunching with friends. Homespun goodness in every bite.

2021-07-18Great clean place with lots of options for a good price. The best thing about this place is how everything is individually wrapped and you have plenty of time to choose what you want. No one rushes you and if you want your pastry warmed, you can simply tell the cashier when you’re paying. The staff is nice and things are restocked when they finish. I would highly recommend going here for a good pastry.

2022-04-12Horrible, Expired food!Cake and pastry quality is horrible. Probably the worst bakery, I have ever seen. Old food placed inside a fine fancy package! Very smart people running this bakery! Try their food and find out for yourself how bad the food quality is.

2021-12-18This the only store in Queens that has lemon blueberry tart. It happened to be my favorite. I am officially changing the store that I usually I buy. Thank you ParisBaguette on forest hills. I forgot to mention that the king cream doughnut is amazing crispy in the outside and creamy and lightly sweet in the inside.

2020-12-19Keeping it real out here for them cakesWeve gotten countless cakes from Paris the last 2 decades. The price is reasonable with the time, design is enough for most birthday occasions, the taste is satisfying to most as well. Almost cant go wrong with it which is why we get it for most birthday celebrations. Not the most fancy case by any means, but definitely still great cakes.

2022-04-18The food here is great but they are very understaffed and they should really think about hiring some more people. In the morning when people are rushing to work they should have more than one register open. I shouldn’t have to wait nearly 15 minutes in order to see that they still have 6 people in front of me and the line has not moved.

2022-02-23Paris Baguette is a chain but the quality and taste of their pastries is great! Their cakes are great for birthdays and holidays. Their baked goods arent overly sweet. Theyre not trying to hide sub-par ingredients or a lack of flavor under mounds of sugar and their coffee is really good, those beans smell and taste great and Ive never had any of the locations give me a cup that was way too strong or watered down.
