I visited for lunch on Friday during the summer restaurant week. I really liked the interior decoration with lots of flowers and plants..Food was good as well. Corn Gnocci and Yellowfin Tuna Tartare for appetizer and Branzino for main course. We had Toasted Coconut Creme Burlee for dessert and it was definitely my favorite.
This was a pleasant dining experience. The first thing that hits you is of course the very elaborate decor. As with the name of the restaurant and menu it changes with the seasons. We started off with an amuse bouche of 2 small arancini and some green focaccia bread. The bread was a little dry though. For the starters I had the truffle and porcini toast and my husband had the charred octopus. Both were very tasty, though I do wish people wouldnt actually char food as it always tastes burnt to me.For the main course I had the rabbit wellington and my husband had the pork Schnitzel. They were a contrast in portion sizes though. The rabbit wellingtons were little rolls of pastry stuffed with rabbit meat whereas the Schnitzel was a hulking slab with loads of sauerkraut on the side. Both were yummy if a little uneven in their serving sizes. For dessert we had the black forest gateaux for two, very yummy with lots of different textures and great presentation. The noise levels werent too bad, having to raise our voices slightly over the music, more foreground than background. Will have to go back at some point either for brunch or the next seasons menu.Update: We came here again, with a friend, to see what the Autumn version of the restaurant was like in 2018. The food was again very well done and they also have a $65 prize fixe after 8:30pm with wine tasting. Recommended for the alcoholics out there. 😁
I didn’t find the seasonal thing all that special, but the food was excellent and the service was attentive. Overall pretty creative menu worth the step up to $40 on average per plate. House wine selections were good for the price. I work in the area and will definitely be back. I had a great Mexican tuna ceviche (vs Peruvian, which doesn’t have avocados) follow by a supremely well prepared halibut, including a poached egg. Everyone at the table praised the food so I think this for the moment a very reliable spot. The coat check wasn’t immediately apparent to me, and the waitress took my long overcoat. I was pleased as I feel like coat checks are in decline.Check it out if you can.
Busy summer Wednesday night! I RSVP for my birthday 3 hour prior and got seated right away with my family once we arrived. There were many walk-ins that were waiting by the bar. Theres 3 separate opens rooms with different decors. Its such a beautiful restaurant to sit in. We ordered almost everything off the menu and just shared the dishes. The service was amazing, very intentive, water was always filled and questions were answered. Spent 1.5 hours. The food came out right away. Received a happy birthday dessert on the house. I definitely will come back to try out the other seasons.
Went for the spring menu and absolutely loved it! The decor is awesome, restaurant is huge with plenty of seating for groups, and the cocktails and food are delicious. Prices are super high but the food and service are worthy: for appetizers, highly recommend the burrata. For sides, the artichokes!!! For mains, the filet mignon with garlic crust, and the sea bass with English peas. For dessert, the passionfruit tarte (but share it with a few people). All the food is super rich and flavorful, and service is a slower pace but attentive. Can be loud in certain areas of the restaurant.
Amazing experience. Went here during the winter season for resturant week and was stunned at how amazing it was.The decor was extremely pretty with the lighting being perfect. Not too bright but not too dim. The waiters there are very knowledgable and have a lot of good descriptions for the food. So what did we get?We started with a steak tartare along with some hamachi fish with blood orange and pine nuts. The fish was amazing. The flavors provided by the fish and the acidity of the orange with the texture of the pine nuts and exploding orange in your mouth is an experience that can only be felt. The steak tartare was just delicious. Amazing crispy bread with the steak lying on top. Every bite was so satisfying. The entrees.Nova Scotia halibut and filet mignon. The halibut really might have been the best fish Ive ever eaten. The way it was prepared. Wow. And the fried egg that comes with it. Wow. Served with a creamy spinach sauce and some balsamic vinegar. The flavors working together is AMAZING.And the filet? Of course it was juicy and tender and delicious but steak is steak imo. Its kinda hard to make steak better than it already is you know but the fish was amazing.Dessert we had creme brulee and a toffee pudding. The creme brulee was soo good. Entire top had a nice crust with a soft pudding baee. And the toffee pudding was good too but I liked the creme brulee better.Great dinner and would highly reccomend. Would definitely wanna try coming here for a different season. Thanks for reading.
This place was phenomenal. Loved the extra care with even something as simple as the drinks. I had ginger ale and it had candied ginger as a garnish. Even the house white wine is delish. Presentation with food was also a nice touch. Would definitely recommend. Great bar if you arent in the mood to eat and just want to enjoy a nice drink. The desserts were sooooo good. You cant go wrong w any of them!
Always a wonderful experience at Park Avenue during restaurant week. The food was great, the ambience wonderful and the service wonderfully professional. Not to me tipn the adorable maitre d. The tuna tartare could have used a little more seasoning but was still delicious, theres fleur de sel on the table which took care of that. #parkavenueautumnwinterspringsummer
Dined during restaurant week for the summer menu. The decor was fun and different. It was a little dark in parts of the restaurant, but the ambiance was nice. Our sides didn’t come to the table until we were almost done eating, which was a huge disappointment. The cornbread and butter was delicious. The hot sauce topped watermelon was unique and had a great kick! The shishito peppers were blistered well and the sauce they cane with was amazing!! The grilled peaches with burrata were to die for. The highlight of the meal for me was the chocolate strawberry mousse cake - especially the “dirt” crumble around it - scrumptious!!! Part of the table chose the wine pairing menu and received full glasses of wine.
We enjoyed two meals at Park Avenue during a recent visit to NYC (the restaurant was recommended to us by a friend and it was a great find!) Our first dinner was a regular seating in the early evening. When we heard about the nightly wine dinners after 8:30 PM, we made reservations for a late dinner on the last night of our visit to NYC, and it was well worth the return visit! The wine dinner is an exceptional value! For $65 PP, you get an appy, a main and a dessert from the regular menu (only exception, I think, is a slightly different offering of desserts), along with a wine with each course and frequent wine top-ups! This is an exceptional value! The summer menu options are awesome, and the servings are generous - we left feeling stuffed and very satisfied. Current Summer 2018 menu highlights for us: Summer Gazpacho, Steak Tartare, Sweet Corn Agnolotti, Viking Village Scallops, Brock Island Swordfish, Long Island Duck Breast, and Key Lime Tart. Well definitely visit again when were in NYC.
The food at Park Avenue was delicious and the staff was great. I loved the filet mignon and corn gnocchi! They also have wonderful desserts, my favorite was the key lime pie and the creme brûlée! I would recommend coming for restaurant week and getting all of the supplements!
This place is fantastic. Had brunch here today and they went above and beyond for us. Had their delicious crab and avacado toast and all of the other appetizers were delicious too.Really enjoyed my burger and for the price, the brunch menu was great. Would definitely recommend this place to others.
Came here for Restaurant Week 2018 lunch ($26 for a two course lunch) during the Summer season. I had the yellowfin tuna tartare and the heritage pork loin as well as an additional side order of corn creme brûlée and a mex peche cocktail. Before mentioning anything about the taste, it’s important to note that the portions were very generous- no dainty little nibbles to be seen. The tuna tartare was good but nothing special. I do think it could have shined had there been more of the mango purée. The pork loin was good but a little too salty but the grits and peach mustard were fantastic. The corn creme brûlée was wonderful and I would recommend it to those who like creamy corn dishes. The mex peche wasn’t as peachy as I would have liked. The decor in this restaurant was amazing! I especially loved the barnacle chandelier in the first floor bathroom; quite a statement piece! I do wonder where they source all the oceanic pieces from though, especially the turtle shells mounted on the wall. All in all, good enough food that I would consider trying it again at another prix fixe event (brunch or their daily wine dinners should I need to entertain a wine enthusiast friend).
I never come back to eat again. The environment is very good, but the waiter didnt tell us when we ordered the order. The pork steak was medium, and I didnt know about it in the dark light. I thought it was fat. Later, my friend told me this was not ripe, and this time the waiter told us it was medium? And then help us to make the rest fully ripe, why didnt you ask at first? Is this lack of experience? Or not enough service? Its so disappointing! 👉🏻See! Looks good, taste bad!
Food was in between ok and good. My first steak came overdone and we were super excited to try the broc and cheetos dish and see how they creatively layed it out but it was literally broc with cheetos dropped on top. Everything was not bad but below the standard we were expecting.
It was a very nice place to go to at a windy chilly winter night. Pumpkin ravioli was good, nothing special. Recommend entree scallop, very delicious! Like the design of chocolate cube dessert but the taste didn’t surprise me. Btw the little bite of truffle cake appetizer was very good!
Visited for their Wine Dinner and it was awesome! It was essentially a wine pairing where you could ask for more, but with such a generous pour you dont even need to do that. It was my birthday and they added a lovely blueberry gelatto with a candle. Wish granted! Excellent dinner, excellent night!
Amazing! They sent a confirmation asking if it was a special event, my boyfriend responded it was our anniversary. They gave us free prosecco, and our dessert came on a plate that said Happy Anniversary! It was an unexpected touch 😊 The firs was also just amazing! The scallops are delish!
What a concept, four different restaurants in the same place changes with the seasonsInstead of just changes the menu they change the whole place, just pretty great to know is changes and you wont be boredThe bar is great good looking young crowdCocktails world classBeer selection is niceWine is all world classAnd the food is what you expected, great new age AmericanWait staff also hip young and professionalGreat place get wait to go back
Had to wait for more than am hour on thanksgiving (!) although I had made an online reservation for 20.00. . .First time here, disappointed because of the delay. Awaiting still to be seated. . . .Seated after an hour an a half I noticed that there was only the prefixed menu at 89$ . . . .and at the end they told me that due to heavy traffic there was not the desert I ordered. . . . .
This was our second brunch here, and we enjoyed it just as much if not more than the first time. I cannot say enough about the service. Our waiter was so welcoming and attentive. It really meant a lot to us too that they did something special for my friend’s birthday. We’ve now tried several of the special cocktails and the endless Bellini bar, and it’s all amazing. The food is delicious, and the seasonal decor embraces you no matter where you are seated. We’ll definitely be coming back on a regular basis.
Came here for restaurant week and it was ok, at best. The staff was fine, but the food was not really worth the price. Pork loin was over cooked, the fish was kind of dry. Their signature truffle waffle fries were far too salty with not enough truffle flavor. $20 for a small glass of wine. Really, nothing spectacular. The bread was pretty good and they had nice appetizers.
Went late on a Saturday, had the wine dinner. Server was excellent, bus boy (or lack there of) wasnt great. When Im out dining for an experience such as this, I expect top notch service all around. Bartenders couldnt be bothered to help us either. Once he finally did come over he was friendly enough and made a solid drink. Food was solid as well. Had the buratta and duck..both very good. Definitely put it on your list for the experience and decor and definitely go after 830 PM for the wine dinner otherwise, there are much better options for your money.
Overall we had a very good dinner. The food was exceptional. The drinks also, exceptional. We did the wine dinner and I have to say everything brought to the table was amazing. Each wine added to the experience and paired nicely with the food from that course. The dishes pushed the envelope but not in such a way as to be exotic, just a nice addition to something that felt comfortably familiar. The reason for the low review was the service and the check. The service was terrible. We had to ask for everything to be brought to the table. The wine was never refilled without asking at least twice, despite it being a wine dinner. There were two instances of the wrong food being brought and another of a dish being forgotten. Normally totally fine, but not for a fine dining experience. Finally the check. Very simple. They overcharged us $80 for being gluten-free. Our friends were charged the standard $65 for the wine dinner, we were charged for every item and drink individually, despite the items on the gluten-free menu being exactly the same as the regular menu. Thus our $65 wine dinner became a $105 wine dinner. Again, perfectly acceptable for a fine dining experience but you have to tell people. By the time we noticed the error, we had been hustled out the door (last table of the night, and again, unfriendly service) and couldnt really argue the point. If they really needed the extra money they should just say so, and not resort to such tactics.A shame that such good food is located in, apparently, a poorly run (unhappy staff reflects most of the problems we had) establishment.
I went to dinner in January 2020 for the Winter menu. The food is everything you can possible expect. Its not too pretentious but not basic in any way. The focus is clearly on flavor and great ingredients. The location is conveniently located and works for either a date or with a group. I came with a couple of my close friends for a group dinner but I need to line up another visit with my girlfriend to make sure I get to sample this truffle filled menu again before the Spring Season comes along. I did not have dessert so I cant give a comprehensive review.
Came in on a Sunday afternoon with no reservations and I was seated right away. I enjoyed the pastry and the unlimited prosecco. The avocado toast was missing a bit of flavor, and the short rib hashbrown were a bit heavy. Overall I really like the place and the waitress provided an excellent service.
The ambience, service and choices were exceptional. The food unfortunately left a little to be desired. Go with whatever the waiter recommends and you will need to get a starter, entree and dessert as the entrees are the same size or smaller than the starters... Desserts were the best part. Going back for just those alone!
Just had drinks here. Obviously a super popular spot. Despite being slammed, our bartender was very friendly and attentive. Love the seasonal decor. Its not kitschy or overdone, but plenty nice wintry atmosphere. Drinks for tasty with a couple of unusual choices. Once again
Fantastic experience all around. The place was packed, so we opted for the bar. We were not too hungry, so we only ordered two mains, despite a lot of really attractive looking appetizers and bar bites on the menu. I order duck breast wherever it is served (because, you know, duck breast), and this time was no different. The duck was seasoned, cooked AND plated perfectly. My husband had the sea bass, and the skin was the perfect amount of crisp. A couple of glasses of wine and just l the right amount of attention and great attitude from the bartender completed the experience. Will definitely come back next season ;)
Can only speak for the brunch menu, four of us had an excellent experience here. The room is beautiful, open and airy. Service was very attentive and friendly. And the food was excellent. Interesting variations on brunch items, we had excellent butternut squash soup, crab meat with squash on toast, poached eggs, French toast, and other dishes. Not cheap, but we felt it was worth it for what you got. The monkey bread was also excellent.
The food is just average. I was hoping for so much more in terms of flavors, preparation and overall experience. Think of it like this, its artfully crafted dishes that look beautiful upon arrival to your table, but when you go to bite into them, youre feeling like something is off. This place could be exceptional if the food tasted as good as it looked. Their whole schtick of changing the ambiance of the restaurant and menu based on the seasons, is a highlight. However if the food is just average, you will quickly get beyond the seasonal theme of this restaurant.
Excellent meal with an interesting menu that is a blend of expected seasonal items and some surprise combinations that work well. Our group was lucky enough to order different items so we could sample a little bit of everything. It seemed dark at first but once we adjusted, the lighting was fine. Cant wait to go back during other seasons to see how they change.
Fantastic service! Boyfriend and I celebrated an early Valentines day dinner and they gave us the come as a complimentary dessert! I always wanted to try it and we had come during restaurant week so it wasnt on the menu. Was happy about that. The crab cakes, pumpkin ravioli, truffle croquettes, and beef were all really good. I would recommend them. The dessert, although exciting, was a bit of a disappointment. The cube was reminiscent of arroz con leche in taste and texture rather than chocolate mousse. And the black forest was good but not great. Overall, the experience was worth it.
I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. We celebrated New Year’s Eve dinner here in this elegant, upscale, delicious & beautiful restaurant. The food was amazing from appetizer to dessert. Our sever was outstanding. The ambience & decor was breathtaking. Great experience in EVERY way!!!
Great spot. I had the dry aged strip and it was amazing and full of flavor. Wife had the salmon. We did the dinner party prix fixe menu. The staff were kind of hit and miss with timings and knowledge of the drinks, but thats to be expected with a place that overhauls everything every few months.
Went to Park Avenue Winter - loved the Burrata, Octopus and Fish. More than the food - absolutely got one of the best service (waiter was from Croatia). He made recommendations and helped us to get the best experience. Did amazing pairing of food and wine.Great place! We took our kids and they ate everything.
The space is mesmerizing and changes with the season. The menu is seasonally as well. Its a huge space and all just so beautiful. The food has always been good and creative. The portions are filling and you will leave full. The use of seasonal ingredients are delightful. I have been here numerous times and always leave happy and satisfied. The meats are always tender and flavorful. Theres a good char on the grilled meat when that was an option. Its a good go to for parties and groups.
The food here is quite delicious and flavorful. The decor is also tasteful. However, I had to take away a star because the service was subpar. We were not greeted when we arrived and our waiter was atrocious. He was quite rude the whole time and did not have proper etiquette when serving wine.
Perfect place to take someone youre trying to impress! Ive been more than a few times by now and each time the service is good. This last dining, they got our order wrong but they made up for it later somewhere else in my opinion. Tip: make advance reservations. Bar is stylish for drinks if youre not up for sit down dining.
Had an 8:30 p.m. prefixed wine pairing reservation for Friday evening for 48 people. Unfortunately, our four tables of 12 were scattered around the restaurant and the last table had to wait 40 minutes to be seated. It was impossible for us to visit with the other tables. Service was not good. I feel they were understaffed. It took about 30 minutes to get our first glass of wine and we had to wait for refills, which was annoying. There was an upcharge for many of the items on the menu. My sister and I had apps of pumpkin ravioli, shrimp haystack, and entre of duck and halibut. All were excellent. Dessert was included. We were probably there for at least 3 1/2 hours.
We went to Winter. The food was okay, not bad. Over priced for what it was. We were seated in a small room with lots of tables. Hard to walk through. Cramped. The waiter seemed disinterested in our table. You could hear the bass from another building blairing 90s rap music in the room. Not the ambiance we expected.
This place is absolutely phenomenal. I went there for restaurant week but Id definitely go back even at full price menu. The yellow fin tuna tartare was outstanding, full of flavor and delicate at the same time, and who could believe that branzino can be so rich in taste. Every dish was balanced at perfection! Highly recommended!
The wine dinner is an incredible value, $69.00 (heheheh) per person for entree, app, dessert and unlimited wine is unheard of in New York City. The service is likewise incredible, as in the ambiance. Our waiter was an avatar of pure table service talent and charm, and would be sought after by any fine dining venue in NYC. First round draft pick, ought to make $200k+ per year in our opinion. The entrees were the low point of the meal and really only made sense in the context of the wine dinner, where they still represent incredible value. You can make a date feel special here for under $200.00, and he or she will probably allow the wine to gloss over the entrees a little. The skirt steak was fine, but was frankly more expensive than significantly superior steak offerings at places like Upland (across the street), the Federal Grille, or even PJ Clarks. The sea bass, was more of a never order again although we did love the mushrooms on it.The steak tartar was an unexpected high point of the meal. And the broccoli with Cheetos was a tasty surprise. All desserts, apps and sides were directly on point without question. We absolutely intend to return each quarter to experience each seasons new menu, but probably would not come outside the context of the wine dinner offered nightly after 8:30 p.m.
Attended a company event and the food was really good. Bartenders were attentive and staff was nice. I would like them to take a closer look at the bathroom. It is in need of an update and could be cleaner. Maybe a fresh coat of paint and an eye on replacing worn out fixtures.
I love this place! Its well worth the long wait for a table. The recipes are unique and exquisite, and there are just no words for how good their cocktails are! The decor & atmosphere are the best! The best night to go here is Tuesday. Portions are small so order many different things!
Good atmosphere and decoration. Pre-fix menu for lunch with good variety in the menu.Excellent californian beer. 🍻We just didnt understand why the cinnamon came first since its sweet. We would rather a salt appetizer or bread instead.Thought this point the staff and food is incredible.
Inventive American cuisine. On the menu you can find some odd combinations that actually work well once you taste them. One of them is the Waffle with Cotechino. Very interesting pairing. The restaurant will change its name every season and with the name also the menu changes. A very good brunch prix-fixe place.
Me and my wife had reservations to this restaurant and we were not disappointed. This place is great.Nice ambiance, lite music, dim lights, and a nice intimate feel. Staff are very friendly and warm and our meals were excellent. Highly recommend to anyone whos in the area or for a date night.
You must go to this restaurant at lease once in your life. If you are visiting NYC, it is a mandatory meal destination. Everything is good on the menu. For the winter time, there was a dessert called the Broken Ornament, it was heaven on a plate. Even the bar menu is tasty - get the lobster rolls. Check and see if restaurant week is happening, they always participate and its always phenomenal.
Had a wonderful brunch for 14 guests . The ambiance was amazing, they had set up a long table in a somewhat private location. The service was exceptional, food outstanding and anything we requested was easily accommodated. Everyone had a great time and I was beyond pleased.
My cooking group had brunch there yesterday and it wasfabulous. The setting was so striking I had trouble staying with the conversationas I was distracted by the winter beauty surrounding me. The bilinibar with blood orange was so very good. The monkey rolls thatarrived with warm cream cheese, pecans ad raisins was absolutelydelicious. Our salads were as good as they could be. Our Sunday experienceat this beautful and creative restaurant could not have been better. The service, too was attentive and delightful. Cannot wait to goback for lunch and dinner. A very special place, indeed!
One of the best Brunch experiences Ive had in the city. They offer a great $32 prix fix menu which features an incredible fried chicken sandwich (maybe my favorite in the city) as well as some outstanding Eggs Benedict. The salmon bucatini and monkey bread were also awesome.
Fun spot for happy hour! The drinks are funky and fun, some served in either coconuts or watermelon. Im not a fan of fruity drinks so I ordered a drink called Waikiki made with patron silver and rimmed with Hawaiian pink sea salt. Cute but full of flavor. The bar food was pretty decent too! I ordered a lobster noodle dish and it super tasty and filling. Totally worth it.
When I made the reservation for this place to celebrate my birthday with my friends, I really had high hopes. But the reality is, the service ruined it all.I saw some photos of this place with complimentary plates and candles for people on their birthday, so I noted on my reservation that its my birthday event. However, the restaurant did nothing. Thats... probably not something I should criticize about, but just a real bummer. The rest of the service is literally like a circus. After the main course, I still have half of my plate left when my friends finished (its a really large lamb shank), so when the waiter took down our plates, I told him to pack my dish for me. He said okay. The weird part is, he brought me the packed dish back immediately, before our deserts came. Shouldnt you wait until we ask for the check? Why would I need it so soon?! After the deserts, my friends had a surprise birthday cake for me. It was a beautiful cake which I didnt set my eyes on for more than one minute. Because the waitress blow out my candle, bring it back to the kitchen and cut it directly without asking us. I didnt even had a chance to take a picture of it. AND, blowing out my BIRTHDAY candle?! SERIOUSLY?! Whats also unacceptable is that, she didnt even bring us clean forks/spoons for the cake. When she took down the deserts, I put my dirty spoon on the plate and gave it to her. She, instead, return that dirty spoon to me while taking my plate.Overall, I dont recommend this place. The waiter/waitress we had was just so inconsiderate. The service is just not worth the price, and lets face it, the food is not that good. The bread was really nice though, that was probably the best thing there for us.
Park Avenue has never failed to disappoint and this was my first time back since they moved from the Upper East Side location... Came here for Autumn this time aprind and for a birthday (she was first timer) surprise. Everything was perfect, from the decor, to the cocktails, and the surprise birthday treat. My girlfriend did the ordering since I told her that I’m certain she can’t order poorly here... the smile on her face at the end of it all was worth the trip. If you’ve never had venison, like my girlfriend, this is the place to try it... it’ll never get any better than this.
Horrendous service. We were a party of 5, and it took us 3.5 hours for dinner. We waited over 2 hours to get our food and the waitress seemed like she was doing us a favor just talking to us. On top of that, they kept bringing us food we didnt order (at least 4 times), and at the end we had to argue to get them off our bill. The food wasnt bad, but it wound up being over $100 per person which was DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT!
Absolutely beautiful place! The staff is really friendly and respectful. Feel free to ask for their opinion on the food of the menu, they obviously have tried it and know how it’s made and with which wine to pair it with!Amazing food and ample selection of wine! The butternut squash soup is delicious! The Park Avenue Steak tartare is incredible! The Mediterranean Branzino is just an explosion of citrusy fresh deliciousness in your mouth!I highly recommend this place! It’s romantic for a date, laid back for a nice dinner with friends/family and very classy for a business dinner.
The pre-fix dinner had awesome menu options and very reasonably priced! The atmosphere and food was exciting! Also, their unlimited wine tasting...is definitely one of the best deals in NY, it starts at 8:30 pm, it’s a $69.00 pre-fix that includes any appetizer, any entree and unlimited wine!!!! With choices that include steak tartare, crab cakes, filet mignon, short ribs, Alaska halibut, Bronzino and other delicious options. I’m definitely returning.
This is for the winter menu. There was a great ambiance and service, but in regards to the food there wasnt a single item that WOWed me. The short-rib was okay, the pumpkin ravioli was lacking on filling and the pickled cranberries overpowered any pumpkin flavor, and the sticky toffee gingerbread pudding was a gingerbread cake with a little bit of toffee sauce drizzled on it. My girlfriend had the burrata which was okay and the green circle chicken which was a little dry. She had the pecan and walnut tart for dessert which was probably the best part of either of our meals. Then the ice cream which was served with both desserts didnt have the creamy richness you want from a homemade ice cream. All in all, it was just an okay meal that didnt disappoint but it certainly didnt impress, which is fine for a discounted restaurant week deal but for what the normal price tag is for this place, pretty good or fine isnt what Im looking for. Maybe a different season would be better, but Im not looking to go back anytime soon
After being here for the winter and summer menu, I can officially say this is one of my favorite NYC restaurants and will be really sad when its relocated after this year, with a possible name change (since they cant guarantee theyll still be on Park Avenue!) We were just back for Restaurant Week and the gnocchi and soft shell crab starter almost made the entire meal worth it. Our chicken entree and banana parfait dessert were also delicious. The place has amazing decor and such a different concept since they change all interiors along with the menus to follow the seasons.
This restaurant was so elegant when it was uptown. Now it is an updated clam shack, eschewing white table cloths and crisply dressed staff for leatherette placemats and servers in red and black checked shirt (is this the one to autumn?).Noise level at the bar is deafening, and it reverberates throughout the overly large, too-crowded, and oddly decorated place. The food is ok; every dish has one ingredient (at least) too many and the absence of sides--like a vegetable--is a mystery.Wont go back. A place for no season; no reason.
Amazing decoration for all seasons of the year. Reservations are a must for this restaurant, and they adhere strictly to them. While there is no dress code, a majority of customers seem to dress somewhere between smart and business casual. The service here is impeccable, and the staff is more than willing to fix any issues with your meal.
This was one of my favorite restaurants in NYC, food is always creative and consistently great and the service is amazing. Had a bad experience last time I visited, I accidentally mixed up a number in the tip I gave and the manager came over in a very confrontational and standoffish way. I did not appreciate the attitude over an accident.
Had Christmas dinner here as Park Avenue Winter with the family. The food was good but the service could be better. Our server had forgotten about us a few times, while some of the ordered drinks and dishes were forgotten and came late. He made up for it by comping some at the end without being asked. We will come back when they change for the other seasons.
Went here for a work event. I had a vegetarian plate that was mostly cous cous and it was ok. However the tempature int he room was not comfortable. It was summer in NYC and the room felt like it wasnt even cooled.Again this was a work event. The rest of the restaurant was lovely and comfortable tempature. The staff was friendly as well.
Park Avenue Cafe has revamped themselves as Park Avenue (insert season here). They change the menu AND decor four times a year to feature the freshest ingredients and seasonal atmosphere. My favorite decor is for Winter when everything looks like a white wonderland. They also have a great side room that can be used for private parties- decor is already taken care of for you! This is a great place to go for brunch as well where they feature a 3-course menu for $35. Splurge on the french toast, its divine. The price tag matches the decor and the well-heeled crowd, it is kind of pricey for what it is (entrees are all over $30).
Stunning food and decoration. The restaurant changes the interior and menu according to the season you are in. I was lucky to be there in spring and enjoy flowers hanging from the ceiling and a fresh spring-like menu. Curious to go back and check out the other seasons.Staff was friendly and the noise levels where not too loud for New York.
[ 2015.3.2 update ]Finally visited the new location and checked out their new winter restaurant week dinner menu. The food is just as good, if not better, as the old location. Theres a much bigger bar area now, and the seating arrangement is still very spacious. Highly recommend their scallop sandwich and crab cake! The crushed branzino was also outstranding.[ original review ]Came here for summer dinner. The decor is beautiful and seasonal. Seating in the main dining room could feel a bit crowded - if possible, try to ask for a table in the back dinning room (usually reserved for bigger groups). The noise level is low-to-medium, you can talk and hear everyone at the table at ease. On to the food. The potato gnocchi with sweet corn (appetizer) is to die for! For entree, my grilled Berkshire pork chop was cooked well, but the seasoning was far too salty - I felt like I was eating lumps of salt - and was inedible. Thankfully they replaced it for me with grilled lamb chop, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. For dessert, the raspberry sorbet with goat cheese mousse was a perfect balance of flavors (sweet and tart) and textures (crispy, airy, creamy, and smooth) - an excellent dessert dish! Sadly I heard they will be closing the current location soon and relocating to midtown in 2014.
The ambience of this place is awesome... however for a New York restaurant with all different backgrounds I was shocked of the limited options for vegetarian meals... after asking to swap out some options, they server said no to this... I mean how hard is it to even put avocado on a bread.Basically I over paid for fries and hash browns and the drinks was mediocre. Not a place I would recommend or come back too..
I am a native New Yorker and will keep to the directness of how we are known to be :)Food: Great! Have the Kobe beef sliders!Drinks: Great.Space: This is a large, multi-room, modern, elegant and restaurant/bar/lounge with a very open and intimate floor layout. The main bar and dining area is modern decorated with South Pacific theme and sleek. The lounge area is very romantic, intimate and has a fireplace making it a great place for mixing and mingling, date nights, and get-togethers. The bar is usually packed and is a heavy pickup scene.Scene: Singles Scene. Date night. Pickup scene. Trendy. Upscale.Crowd: 20-50s Mostly corporate and professionals.Service: Bar staff and servers are courteous, but service at the bar can be slow when its packed.
The ribs are my favorite thing on the menu and some of the best ribs Ive ever had. Fall off the bone tender with a sweet glaze thats balanced out with hints of coffee, sprigs of mint and fried lotus root. Bring friends so that you can order the large sampler platters. The food and ambiance transport you to the tropics and make you never want to leave.
Just had THE BEST birthday dinner in my life! The service was impeccable and the food - every bite of every dish was just...unbelievably amazing! If you can only pick one restaurant to have that one special meal, this is it! Now that it is restaurant week, forget all the rest - this IS the only choice!
What I love about Park Ave Autumn/Winter/Spring/Summer is their vastly different design scheme and menu depending on the season. When my sisters had her birthday dinner here in February it was transformed into a winter wonderland complete with a winter inspired menu. We had kind of a large party so we had their dinner party option. The food was really well prepared though it did tend to veer towards sweet in the winter.
Unique ambiance, leaning towards upscale, which gives off a light feel of tiki bar. Our table sampled all of the Dim Sum options and a couple rolls, all of which were quite good. Had the Wagyu Skirt for my entree and it was above average but not by much. The cocktails were interesting and tasted great.Perfect place to try something different but dont come here if you are looking for an amazing steak.
I loved the meal and atmosphere. Their service was unfortunately slow and they probably forgot about us couple of times, but food was great and overall experience was good!We had Four course for $79 (app + any two + dessert) and it was really great deal!!! we were satisfied with their quality and quantity:)meals I would like to have again are:1: Sweet corn agnolottiagnolotti was filled with rich corn soup and it goes well with truffle. Smell delicious and taste is great :)2: Long Island DuckSour cherry goes well with Duck. I loved this meal!!but I hated that they put lettuce. it got soggy and did not taste good at all. Also plating looks messy because of that....3: Ricotta CavatelliWaiter recommended us and yes! It was great!! It has sweet tomato flavor, rich ricotta and sausage. dedicate flavor.4: Corn ice creamnice to have crunchy pop corn with ice cream:)
The new Park Avenue A/W/S/S really has a ghost of its past to match up with. Ive been to the old establishment and the one main highlight is the seasonal decor of the restaurant and the ambiance. Here it fails miserably. It didnt even seem to match the seasonal decor but had instead a regular restaurant theme decor. The meal also didnt stand out. Basic fare that didnt wow me. They even recycled the house parker rolls that came from the previous tenant here of General Assembly. Had the fish which was standard fare with a sauce that didnt stand out. The schnitzel pork chop was fried up well though and did match up with the apple slices. The desserts of a white sundae can be easily skipped. The space must be hexed as its gone through 4 iterations in the last few years. Definitely had better.
Novel interior, excellent foodThe restaurant seems to change with the seasons, although this was our first visit, early on New Years eve. The interior was interesting, with many spaces carved out for intimate dining, and we were lucky to get a corner booth. Service was attentive and engaging. The food was excellent. Almost all the items we ate we found exceptional, except for the table bread. That evening, for appetizers, we had the Roasted Butternut soup with Lobster Crouton and gnudi - my wife ordered the dish from the menu and I had the gnudi special with truffle. For entrees, I had the duck while my wife had the Dover sole special, the latter being highly recommended. I sampled it and it was the best fish I could remember eating. It was extraordinary. We also had a side of latkes, which was tasty. Our dessert, capping the meal, was the Cube, a delectable mix of chocolates, along with very good coffee.
So here is another overrated New York restaurant that people wait too long for. Me and my friend walked in for a weekend brunch and luckily didnt wait long to be seated. Its crowded, well always. The servers werent really in a great mood which I guess is understandable because of the volume of the restaurant. They have a couple options for buns. I love the shrimp ones! Amazing combination! But the fried egg ones- not so much- ham was way too salty and smoky. So was the ramen... I had the spicy chicken- I couldnt even eat any of the soup, it was sooo salty, the chicken was smokey but not too spicy. They also have the dessert from the milk bar, which Im not a fan of either. If you are looking for a ramen place, this is def not the best option/ value!
This is a pleasant restaurant which has seldom served any loser dishes, but in the several years my family has been coming here, I have not had any winners, anything I would expect from a culinary star. Since the move, and the more relaxed vibe, the service has gotten slightly less professional. There are places which serve more inspired food at lower prices. Last night I had the tomato salad as a starter. It was excellent, well executed. The salad nicoise, which featured two large pieces of tuna, was barely acceptable. The tuna itself was stringy, the flavor nondescript. It looked great, but was borderline unpleasant. There was little reminiscent of a traditional salad nicoise. Some sort of sauce had been introduced, which overwhelmed the greens, olives and other ingredients (which I could not quite distinguish). Only the string beans were tasty. After we ordered our wine we were informed they had just sold the last bottle. The same price substitute which was urged on us was inferior. No one at the table save one seemed truly enthused. The exception had ordered an unusual corn based ravioli, which was served with black truffle shaved at the table. Hard to screw up truffles.
I had THE most incredible experience EVER at this restaurant... it was my first time going and I couldn’t be happier.. I made reservations for my family and I to celebrate my graduation and I honestly couldn’t have picked a better place. The ambiance. The decor. The servers. The runners. The foOoooooooOooOoOod!!!! It is extremely RARE for me to go to a restaurant and have ZERO complaints!!! By far the BEST dining experience I have had in NYC and I am soooo glad I picked Park Avenue Spring to celebrate my graduation from Culinary School! I am convinced there was no place better. Thank you SOOOOO much to the team that works there from FOH to BOH you ALL made my day absolutely special to the point I could CRY!!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you to my server Savannah and the floor manager Matthew for adding even more ‘sparkle’ to our experience. My family had the best time and words cannot express how enthralled I was with everything ❤️ I WILL be back and I WILL recommend this restaurant to every single person who will listen!
I had a wonderful experience last night at Park Autumn. The pork snitzel was amazing - a modern twist on a traditional dinner, the sticky pudding is a must! And our entire experience was enhanced by our server, Kieran, who’s timing, professionalism, and exceptional service of which seemed so effortless made our night/first date comfortable, fun, and memorable. Thank you!
Gorgeous room, even more gorgeous drinks. With such a huge number of tables, some folks must come here to have dinner, but Im much more interesting in the bar, which hovers like a magical tropical island in the middle of the room. Look for the beverages that come in whole pineapples or coconuts - the fruits arent just for show, they actually add a wallop of flavor. The staff is just as attractive as the space, and they arent afraid to flirt it up.
Unbelievable... went there with co-workers for a relaxing evening after a tough day... after getting half way through our first drink the General Manager comes over to us and says we have a time limit on how long we are allowed to stay there. We needed to order food soon or be prepared to cut our evening there short. The best part was - for the entirety of our time there, we noticed the table to our left and tables behind us were completely empty. Not sure what the rush was for them, it was a rainy weekday evening and not very busy for them. They lost out on a $600+ bill. Thanks for an awful night Hurricane.
The cocktails at this place are absolutely amazing, We had the margaritas as well as the mimosas made with mango and passionfruit. The new menu is a combination of their old menu as well as some new items, I loved their sushi rolls as well as the wagyu steak. Will be coming back for more soon, this place is a great scene.
Have been here twice so far, both times during autumn about a year apart. Both times the have been a joy, great ambience and wonderful food and its great that seasonality is part of the concept in more ways than one.The service is a bit inconsistent and a few cocktails should be avoided but then youre welcome to make your own at the do-it-yourself bar.Certainly worth the visit - will eventually go back to try each of the different seasons.
I was really looking forward to my date night at Park Avenue Summer. I had heard great things before making reservations in advance. For those unfamiliar with the concept behind the restaurant, the decor and menu change alongside the seasons in the year, thus lending to different overall experiences during Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. When we arrived the decor was warm and inviting, with grass lining the walls and pleasant shrubs to give the feeling of summer. The bread basket was one of the early highlights with an offering of three different types of tasty baked good.I ordered a BBQ themed tequila cocktail with chilli salt while my date ordered white sangria. My drink was pleasant enough, having a nice smoky texture to each sip. However my date complained that her sangria tasted like it had hairspray in it, she exchanged her drink for a iced tea cocktail that was also disappointing, overpowered by excessive gin. After a mixed bag on the cocktails, we ordered an appetizer, 2 sides for the table and our entrees. The appetizer was Falafel and Lamb meatballs over summer ratatouille, sounded great but was way too salty and overpowered by excessive olives, resulting in an unbalanced starter. My entree on paper sounded divine, Dr Pepper glazed Baby Back Ribs (one of my favorite foods) with a peach summer slaw. The ribs were cooked well, with the meat melting off the bone but I was slightly unimpressed with the Dr. Pepper glaze which had a very slight sweet flavor. My date went with the soft shell crab which was solid but again a bit too salty. Our side of french fries was maybe the best part of the meal, perfectly cooked with a delicious spicy dipping sauce.Bottom line: For the amount of money per dish I was expecting a bit more refinement in flavor rather than merely average renditions of some of my favorite dishes.
Wouldve been three stars if it werent wildly over priced. Appetizers were the highlight in that they were marginally above average, although there was barely enough to satisfy one person. My filet mignon was over done and the sauce was over salted. My friends crab in her risotto was destroyed and almost unidentifiable. The waiter tried to upsell us on a wine that was subpar to the one we chose. Would not recommend unless they reduced prices by 2/3.
Great food and exceptional service. Last time I was here was for a friends birthday. We shared broccoli and cheetos appetizer, turned out to be surprisingly good. Ive never seen it on a menu before. I had sea bass for main course, it was a bit overcooked. Afterwards we wanted to go to the Riff Raff club which is on top of the restaurant. Asked our waitress about it and the manager arranged for us to get in without waiting in line.
The food here is amazing! Everything is fresh and perfectly cooked. The menu is extremely inventive, but youll find a lot of familiar flavors as well. The menu changes seasonally, so theres always something new to try, but the latkes and the chocolate cube are perennial favorites. I also recommend the bases loaded, (a dessert involving pretzels, peanuts, and popcorn) tbecheetos broccoli (youre never too gourmet to love cheetos) if its available, and you literally cant go wrong with any of the seafood selections!Full disclosure: my brother cooks here. But it really is a great restaurant!
This is by far my favorite restaurant in NYC. The decor, menu, and name change with the seasons but the quality remains the same. The food is always exciting and prepared in a very innovative way. Sometimes it is difficult to concentrate on the food as you will be distracted by the incredibly beautiful decor. Look forward to their seasonal drinks as well.
The food, presentation, and service here was amazing. The place is a bit quieter and there were a lot of older families around. Definitely not a place for a big young group but suitable for a night out with the parents or on a quiet date night. The food was phenomenal - I came in the winter - and I cant wait to come back every season.
Came here for restaurant on Sunday. The staff was fine, but the food was not really worth the price. Steak doesn’t cook very well.important things when I get back home I am sick.Really, nothing spectacular. Except made me sick.I think no need long time the chef will make the restaurant close.
Awesome architecture and fancy food. The drinks have a juicy and flavorful maraschino cherry with them, and the duck confit with apricots was amazing. Their yellowtail appetizer with grapefruit and elderflower is flavorful and balanced but some of their entrees are French fry heavy. In general, their foods have a unique element, like rhubarb in the pound cake for dessert, but can be uncomfortably heavy at times.
Came for the summer season and chose to come check out the autumn menu for my birthday lunch.Decor is beautiful, cant wait to see what winter brings. Had potato latkes as an app, very good as is anything fried, and the mushroom lasagne, very cheesy, good amount of mushrooms. Staff is very nice and attentive. Def a must go.
The Hurricane Club is one of those New York see and be seen places. It is great for drinks. The food is okay. Its pricey. The funny thing is that I have tried their food at a bunch of pop ups and food festivals. Its really good but as a meal in the restaurant it was just okay. Stick to the lounge feel.
We went last Friday - my girlfriend made 2 reservations: one to eat with a friend (which she did) and then upon arrival told staff that she would dine with me afterwards. Staff acknowledged but when she paid for her friend they refused to take my food order and asked us to check in again at the front desk. Then they told us as we had left the table that they were booked now and could not serve us. GM Ozler was rude and arrogant- life is too short for this. We called in a favor and ate at Upland across the street - much better food and way better service!
I came here to celebrate my friends birthday as she raved about it, boasting that it was perhaps one of the best NYC restaurants that she has been to. I walked in with high expectations and was excited to try Park Avenue Winter. I was grossly disappointed.I made a reservation through Open Table, added notes that its my friends birthday and requested for a corner table as well as a mini dessert with a candle at the end of the meal to acknowledge her birthday. I also called the day of the reservation and spoke with Laura. She confirmed that it was in the notes and that it is all taken care of.Upon arrival, host was congenial, read the notes of the reservation, chuckled (so I know that he saw that it was someones birthday) and had us seated. It was great how we were seated at a corner booth table. Waiter was nice, but not impressionable. We ordered crab cakes, pumpkin ravioli, braised short rib, miso glazed brussels sprouts, and Park Avenue potato latkes. Unfortunately, the crab cakes was probably the best dish aside from the fresh bread out of everything we ordered. The pumpkin ravioli had more dough than stuffing and it was a bit bland. The short rib was definitely drenched in sodium; it was gross. The brussels sprouts were also extremely salty. Is this a trend nowadays? Excessively adding sodium to food to show the lack of competence in chefs? The whole meal just missed the mark. Potato latke was just okay - it was like flat tater tots.Time for dessert. Here I am expecting a candle in some sort of pastry so that we can celebrate. Nope. Ordered the chocolate cube and its an interesting concept, but was meh, as was the rest of the meal. Didnt have my hopes up for that. The ice cream was extremely thick and rich, with a cayenne pepper kick. The dessert itself is heavy and inside the cube was something along the lines of mousse mixed with pieces of chocolate cake. What frustrated me was the busboy avoided our table and did not fill up our water once we ordered dessert. Normally its not a big deal but we need to replenish our bodies considering we consumed over 200% of our daily intake of sodium.Waiter didnt say thank you when handing us the check, and honestly, he didnt deserve any tip. I tipped him anyway - hope he learns that manners go a long way. This restaurant had 1 task. I just wanted to celebrate my friends birthday and hoped that the restaurants staff can communicate this throughout their team. Unfortunately not. -1 star for food, minus another one for service, and subtract another one for forgetting. I suppose Ill rate this restaurant 2 stars since it had a nice ambience. We will NEVER return. Its fine, we work in hospitality and will let everyone know how there are plenty of other wonderful restaurants that are far more worth their money.
We came here on a Saturday night with reservation - I heard its usually hard to get seats over weekends unless you make a reservation in advance. I love the trendy decor and the dynamic atmosphere. Great food - we ordered pu pu platter for four people(nom!), calamari salad(kinda meh, Im just not a fan of salad in general), and some sides. For drinks we ordered a lot - starting with the watermelon(its served in a watermelon, so fun!), followed up with the colonial, the sunset, berllini and sangria. The colonial and the sunset kinda tasted similar but sangria was delicious. We had a great time there, will def come back again to try their sushi.
Gorgeous space -- very sexy. Great place for a date. Good cocktails, though the Dark & Stormy isnt that great. Fantastic rum selection (try the J.M. Rhum), and the bartenders are not only sexy and well-dressed (love the white tuxedo vests) but also really down-to-earth and attentive. Cant wait to come back for an intimate dinner.
Was looking forward to great food, and could have given 3 stars but because I was disappointed I think 2 stars are fair. We had two drinks... the road to Jericho was a lame vodka drink (turned water after a while as it was filled with ice to the point of being spilled when served) while the other one, the cocktail above Jericho drink in the menu was decent. the hamachi sashimi and the deer tartar, were not that good, especially the deer tartar ... a mish-mash of everything, but good taste.ordered further some bronzino, and the long island duck. the bronzino was far from tasty, and the crusted crumbs on top didnt do a thing to fix it. as for the duck, although juicy and marinated with figs and good sauce, was kind of half cooked to the point that after the first bite, wasnt pleasant anymore.all in all for the price you pay for this kind of food it definitely DOESNT worth the money. whole dinner for two was around $180, and I dont think we were satisfied at the end.two stars for being pricey and not delivering perfection in taste. have had better experience for same price range elsewhere, especially in downtown.
One of the best meals we have ever had. my wife never cares about ratings but she insisted that i put a review up. the crabcake was large and succulent as were the baby beets. the halibut was cooked to absolute flaky perfection. special crab cake was extremely tasty (but a bit small). the aioli artichokes was most savory. chocolate cube was good but banana panna cotta. not enuf room, so much more.

2019-07-22Updated for wine week 2019: same excellent food, same excellent value! The wine pours are generous - we were seven people and went through a bottle of wine at a time (so essentially we had ten bottles for $20x7=$140)Must visit! My 2018 review:Had an amazing experience for wine week. Appetizers, entrees, and 10 wines for $20 were all amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and even was able to get us a charcuterie plate - even though it wasn’t on the menu. Highly recommended.

2019-08-04Had a group of 8 for Sat brunch. The place was pleasantly decorated, in a summer theme. Was told that they change the decor each season. Nice, but that cost would be burdened in the prices! Anyway, good first impression. Each person gets to choose an appetizer and a main course, we tried to pick different items. Shockingly, none of us was happy with their courses. Quite a few dishes were very salty, such as the cheeseburger, the crab toast, the goncchi. The slices of bread was burned and tough. The meat ball and sausage were both mediocre. The only good item was the buratta, sadly! Service was good.

2019-05-05Love this restaurant ! Really good hype and atmosphere!Came here for the spring them. Their bread and butter was soooo unique and delicious that I can eat all day! The cocktail was also pretty good, on the strong side actually. We got duck breaks and sea bass among us. Pretty good but not fantastic.Great service throughout.A nice spot to celebrate a little. Worth coming once in a while I guess

2018-02-17This was a stunning experience. My friend and I came for restaurant week and it did not disappoint! We left feeling good. Our white wine was sweet and easy to drink with our meal. My friend had the branzino and I had the salmon and we were delighted with our choices. Our service was excellent too. Would highly recommend!

2019-02-06How does this place not have a Michelin star yet? Had a fabulous dinner at Park Avenue Winter during restaurant week. We were a party of 6 and were seated in the main dining area. From the time we walked in the ambiance, service and the buzzing vibe were all amazing. We went for the restaurant week menu. We got to taste a bit of everything. Crab cake in the appetizer was delicious. Pumpkin ravioli was such a treat..great sauce and flavors. We also tasted the burrata and was delicious. Another friend tried the steak tartare and raved about it. For mains we tried the halibut and short ribs. Halibut was flaky and very flavorful. We got complimentary focaccia bread and truffled potato croquettes for the table. We added on some truffle fries as well. For dessert we tried creme brulee, ornament dessert, sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. Creme brulee was the star of the evening, and the ornament was the best looking dessert. Toffee pudding was nice and warm too. We enjoyed our meal and had some leftovers too. Such an amazing time.

2019-08-09On the pricier side, definitely worth dining here for a special occasion like an anniversary or intimate birthday dinner. Restaurant week menu offers a great deal as well if you just want to treat yourself without the hefty price tag!I got the peach & burrata appetizer, the Mediterranean Branzino for entree. My friend is vegetarian and couldn’t find a vegetarian entree so she was able to get a larger portion of the corn gnocchi appetizer as her entree so she could participate in the RW dinner deal. We loved everything!

2018-04-01Alex is the best waiter! We had an amazing girls brunch here. We couldn’t stop with the monkey bread and mimosas. We were here during winter and the decor was so cool and classy. Would love to come back for the other seasons ASAP!

2019-06-18Beautiful, huge space with some nice dining options. I was a huge fan of the maple chipotle butter that came with the cornbread for the table. Some very original ideas here in addition to that butter, like the “pastrami,” which was in fact seasoned watermelon. The desserts were really impressive - definitely save room! Which won’t be easy because the portions are filling. I was told by a member of my party that the ahi tuna appetizer was to die for. I loved the lobster Mac and cheese - very crispy, as well as my refreshing dessert. Knowledgeable staff.

2019-02-08Came for restaurant week winter 19. Been wanting to try out this place for awhile. Was excellent! Incredibly kind and attentive waiter. Even when they said they ran out of the bread pudding dessert I had my heart set on they still managed to find me half of one along with 2 extra desserts, so we had 4 to the table 😁. The decorations felt like a white winter cozy forest and the scene was young and hip. Definitely seemed like a great happy hour spot at the bar, place to catch up with friends or a great date place. Ordered crab cake, pork shoulder and bread pudding...yummy 😍.

2019-04-29Great Sunday brunch. We ordered from prix fixe menue. The portions might seem small, but it was enough. Tasty bottomless prosecco. Very good service, and beautiful ambiance. The restaurant is big groups fmand well behaved kids friendly. :)
