Food was delicious might I add 🔥 and delicious staff was very friendly as well as the owners. My wife & I will be returning soon.

The food was delicious. I had the fish fry which was cooked well and a large portion. The prices were good for the amount of food that you receive. The staff is friendly and helpful.
May have been my last visit due to the cook....waitress staff is great kitchen thinks everything of grill comes w onions.pancakes and grilled hard rolls included..unfortunately I really like the staff...but in the last month food has really gone down hill.. was a couple times a week customer

We walked an and were told to sit anywhere. We were served our drinks and then forgotten. We left a five on the table and got up and walked out. Worse service Ive ever had. Heard the two waitresses talking about another complaint and laughing saying, no one here cares. Terrible service.
This has been an old time favorite of mine for years, staff are great, seems as the quality of the food has gone down hill.
For my mother and fathers birthdays my daughter and I visited this restaurant with them for breakfast. This place, as I walked in, flooded me with childhood memories, from the booths, the old time counter, and everyone (following COVID-19 guidelines of course) was offered a booth. The menu was as great, their in house sausage links. Omlettes were delicious, as their coffee was fresh. We all loved our breakfast. Our server was so fast, even with balancing so many tables. Such a great place on the west side of the river.

Our family loves this place! Employees and owners are extremely kind and the service is prompt every single time. The food is great (check out the Hungry Man/Woman Special for breakfast) and weve never had to wait, even when it was busy.Absolutely reccomended, take your family here and walk out with a smile on your face and a full belly 👌

We went because it was rated one of the best fish frys in Rochester. It did not disappoint. The outside was crispy, inside tender and done perfectly. It was obvious that there were customers that came often. The service was excellent, the food was Americana and it was a great meal. Sorry, no pics, the plates were empty when we realized this place was worth sharing

A diner with all the classic breakfast dishes.. but what we had was done very well with plenty to fill you up, and what I liked the most was that my coffee was never empty, big plus for that. I will definitely go back and try other items..
This place has always been at the top of my list of restaurants. The food is always fresh, hot & good. If you ask for it cooked a special way, if they can, they will! No questions asked!! Three dining areas to accommodate most.
If you havent eaten here you havent eaten. Great staff great service. The food is amazing diner food. Low prices. If nothing else get the home fries with onions. It is a cash only diner and there is an atm on site.
As usual the breakfast was outstanding. No one can beat the food at this place. Everything is homemade. Do yourself a favor and try the parkway diner.
The wait staff are friendly. Prices are reasonable & food is good. They serve an excellent & fresh oh fry on Wednesday and Friday nights.

I’ve been going to Parkway for a few years now. The food is great and most of the waitresses are very friendly. I went there this morning with my husband and granddaughter. The place was mobbed but we found a booth and sat down. One of the waitresses came over and very loudly told us we had to get up, she was putting two other people there. The seat yourself sign was there so if there were other people waiting we were not aware. There was no reason for the waitress to be so rude and embarrass us in front of a room full of people. I won’t be going back. There are plenty of other diners around.

They have some of the best food!! And waitresses and waiters they hussle. I spilled my drink over my grandmas food and the great waitress was fast to help and got a new meal started all over.Breakfast to die for and lunch is wonderful. This is not expensive but it is cash only!

Literally the only place in town that knows how to make potatoes for breakfast. Nice and crispy not mushy. The prices are incredible, your coffee will never be empty and I love their omlettes. I dont live anywhere near here anymore and I still drive here for a great breakfast!

Went for breakfast. ... good price, good food. Went during busy time ( sunday morning ) and it is busy.... all in all, good experience.
My husband and my self have eaten at this restaurant for over twenty years and never once have I seen a hint of uncleanliness, quite the opposite. I worked in dental hygiene for years and would notice anything of that nature and I would recommend the food, the hospitality and prices to anyone. The soups, breakfasts, sandwiches and fish fries can not be beaten. Go easy on the rice pudding as my husband wants some to be left for him.
My family and friends love this place! They always say lets go to YOUR DINER!.... The food is always excellent; Weds. & Friday fish frys are the best we have ever had; breakfast specials cant be beat....homey, excellent service and the staff are so friendly! Wish I could give it 10 STARS!

A great family diner! Fair prices, great people & staff have been working there for years.
I would give it a minus 10 if I could. Someone lost my wifes order. The waitress took the blame but I personally believe it was the cook or some other waitress took it. She had to wait till halfway through the meal to receive hers and then the order was wrong. Waitress said she forgot to write. I witnessed her writing both of our orders on the ticket. Shame on them for such service and then trying to hide it.

The food is ok my French toast was over done. Everything else was good. The DO NOT follow the covid guidelines.counter was all full every stool. Every booth full . Someone should be checking this place out.
Went here today I ordered French toast and home fries the French toast was cold and the home fries sucked, the onions were undercooked in them and they tasted as if they were canned sliced potatoes. Needless to say I wont be returning to this restaurant! I gave this place 1 star because at least the waitress was Pleasant....
Beautiful Establishment. Such good food. Always had coffee filled up, never had to ask for a refill. Food came out fast. Quick, cheap quality breakfast.

This is a great family atmosphere for eating also the staff has been very courteous no matter what the needs are. The food is great and if there ever is a problem the owner is always there to make sure your needs are taken care of in a prompt and courteous manner.

Found screwed on breakfast plate with my eggs. Waitress said... SO!!!. Walked out and never going back. They missed out my family of eight going in once a week for the last 20 years. I will love calculating how much revenue they lost out. I found a better place for breakfast in Greece.

Wish I could give it ZERO stars. How does a fish fry come out frozen??? And dont ask for a side salad...they forget to bring that out after 45 minutes of waiting. Dont even get me started on the miserable waitress, who could have cared less that the customer was not happy.
Love their food. The prices are great and the quality of food is good too. The staff are really nice. The atmosphere reminds me of an old diner.Be prepared to pay cash (no credit) there but for me that is totally fine. They have an atm you can pull money out of.The food is priced right and the portions are good. The best part is the food is really good. I hope this place never changes. I recently moved to the lakeside area so my 20min drive turned into 6 mins. Gonna be my weekend breakfast spot for sure!

I think they have the best coleslaw and the best fries ever! Great spot for breakfast too. I think they should be rated as the number 1 place Rochester for fish frys.
First time ever there and was my returning home for visit there. I swear other places in the world dont get it. The food from the Rochester area for content/flavour is outstanding. Parkway held that standard and more. Great home time diner food. It was breakfast time and my home fries were ordered with onions. To my delightful pleasure well done and smothered with onions. M mm mm my first bite, eyes popped open, look of pleasure on my face and bursted out IM HOME. My friend with me laughed. Anywhere where I live, your lucky to find the add ons. The rest of meal was the same and outstanding service, btw we visited 2 days. Appreciate what you all have rachachaa area dont leave it to know what you have.

First time at Parkway Family Restaurant. Food was great! Best fish fry Ive had in awhile. My gusband had baked fish, also great.They dont take credit, must have cash. Definitely worth it.
There are usually 3 things a restaurant can do well...service, price and quality of food...the first lady who waited on us for drinks was wonderful. The waitress never came back to check on us and then no receipt. ..never going back

Got it ignored..they were not acting professional. Food service wearing shorts!!Bacon tasted fishy. Didnt seem to care and still charged me for it. Inedible.
The food was OK. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette, way too much ham wrapped in a thin layer of egg and only 2 triangle slices of cheese slapped on top. Service was OK, the conversations between the waitresses were in appropriate. I wont be returning.

We are looking for a place to meet every week after work rather daily weekly or, as often as, we can. Breakfast was good. Nothing special. Waitress wasnt very friendly. I feel she spent time being nice to what appeared to be the regulars and could care less about us becoming regulars.atmosphere was country, cozy and clean.

Legendary, amongst the locals and always solid. They have a fantastic fish fry, Friday. For me, its all about the baked haddock, flakey and moist. They are happy to bring an extra plate if you plan on splitting a meal, their fish fry is an ample meal for 2. They serve many seniors.
It was really good there.. I wish it wouldnt be so dirty. I read a review that there was a hair wrapped around a girls sandwich and now Im kind of scared to go there.. Last time i went, the second I sat down a bug crawled on my leg .

Best Fish Fry in Rochester. If you go on a Friday around 4:30 you will have a wait. Wait is worth it however. Staff are very nice and make the meal enjoyable. Breakfast served all day also.

2022-03-31My girlfriend and I love parkway breakfast. There are a bunch of great options, and theyre all super affordable. She usually goes with an egg white omelet, and I either get the hash Benedict or the biscuits and gravy.

2022-03-30Food is overpriced, especially since the service is not good. Not sure who the blonde lady is, I think either the owner or manager but she is nasty! Not friendly, never smiled just stared at us. She yelled at the cooks in front of everyone. We got up to leave and again she looked me up and down like a typical catty woman and never even said thank you or goodbye. Ugh! Much better at Ezzys around the block. Servers talk to you Not at you, food is better, cleaner and great prices. I will never go back here and will share with all my friends and family! No more parkway diner for us!

2022-06-29Terrible meal.The waitress told us the beef barbeque wasnt spicey; it tasted like sweet sauce and tabasco.My Mom ordered the hot turkey and gravy sandwich.Gravy was like wallpaper paste.Also, the waitresses are loud and obnoxious.We went based on all the good reviews but we wont be back.

2021-12-12First time here, came for the fish fry and they didnt disappoint. Friendly staff, roomier than it looks like from outside. Fish breading was crisp with a slightly sweet taste, Haddock was flaky, just a bit dry. I really liked the tartar sauce, not too vinegar. Same with the coleslaw, creamy, crisp..delicious. I had a cup of Boston style clank chowder which also was very tasty. Great experience, Ill be back to try other menu items. They do have a large menu for a mostly breakfast - lunch diner.

2020-07-14Top notch breakfast! Im an eggs and home fries type of person so I dont know about the other stuff but they manage to set themselves apart even on the simple food I order. Great service and great food! I rarely give 5 stars but this place is great. Atmosphere is warm and inviting and staff are genuinely nice, felt very welcome. I will definitely be back to try more at lunch and dinner in the future.
