Patsys Pizzeria in other cities:
The pizza was absolutely delicious that I completely forgot to take any photos! The fried calamari was really crunchy and tasty! Though I would think twice on the clam; they werent quite fresh as my gf and I had a hard timing finishing the dish. Other than that, the customer service was superb!
One of my favorite pizza places in NYC. Being from Chicago, I constantly hear about how New York style pizza is so much better. I’d rather say each city does its craft/style well and Patsy’s in Brooklyn does just that. Thin, great tasting pizza but yet not that overly crunchy bite New York Style pizza can tend to have. It has just the right amount of soft crunch to make it a great pizza. Would recommend stopping by here if you can.
Patsys 🥰😍 we love this placeIve been going to Patsys for years with my friends and family. The food is always delicious and the staff is so kind. My fiance and I had our engagement party here this past Saturday and they did not disappoint. They have a lovely outdoor patio which was nice. Our server Anthony was especially accommodating when we had an extra guest show. Were already planning to have our rehearsal dinner at Patsys 🥰💕💕💕
Our experience was not great as most review suggest. Margarita pizza was good, another one was crazy salty. Soup (Pasta Fagioli) was awful, made out of cheap beens, undercooked pasta, isnt worth long wait time and even a dollar. Backyard part of the restaurant is basically nice, but at night time lighting is not comfortable. Service was adequate, but extra information about food would be nice (especially with experience we had)
Came here with hubby after a Brooklyn Nets game and ordered the Margherita pizza. It had a thin crust and came piping hot. The cheese was melty and the basil was fresh. So good! We ordered oysters but they came after the pizza which was weird but so is eating oysters at a pizzeria. The oysters were fresh and so delicious with tabasco sauce. Wish we didnt live in New Jersey or else Id be there more often!
Surprisingly average pizza. It is definitely passable but really no better than your average corner pizzeria.I got the Verdura pizza. It was good but again, nothing special. The crust was not as crispy as I like (surprising considering that theyre supposedely using a coal oven) and the pizza came out only mildly warm. It did not taste like it was straight out of the oven.If youre already in the area and youre looking for pizza its not a bad choice, but it isnt really a destination youd make plans around.
A Sunday afternoon lunch. Place was kinda quite yet I found that to be enjoyable. Sat in the open air patio which was relaxing.Ordered a margarita pizza thin crust with sausage and mushrooms. Pizza was delicious service was 5 stars no issues with anything. The place is across the street from the Barclays Center so it can get very busy during events.I would make a reservation.
If you are looking for a sit down Brooklyn pizzeria experience that isnt overrun with tourists Patsys has to be top of your list. We went for our daughters 10th birthday party, they easily accommodated 14 people (kids and adults), and most importantly kids had a great time. .
I’m just giving them 5 stars for being so helpful. Went to an event at the Barclays Center last night and saw this pizza place open. Didn’t realize that we needed reservations to get in and that they’re really not for quick meals. They told us to go to another spot down the street, which they didn’t have to do. We will make reservations to go back in the future and enjoy a meal there, which the food looked pretty good.Thanks.
I had my wedding here a year and a half ago and the food and ambiance was outstanding. Today my husband and I went for lunch and ordered the penne ala vodka. Unfortunately, there was tons of chili flakes in the sauce. The waiter told us thats how it has always been made but from previous experience that isnt the case. We were disappointed to say the least.
I came last week for dinner by myself the food was good, to start I had the spicy shrimp and the zuppa di clams, and my entree I had a scoglio with spaghetti and white wine sauce. Both a little too much oil but overall great food. The service was good, waiters were polite. Overall a great experience with their outdoor patio.
Usually highly adequate pizza that can have some quality fluctuations, including dry crusts. Their use of fresh mozzarella is a minus as well, but their toppings are otherwise pretty good. Its a solid spot, but there are a variety of better options within the surrounding neighborhoods.
Ive eating thousands of pizzas in my life and I gotta say that patsys pizza is one of the best pizzas Ive ever had. From the time the servant greets you, to the time you get your meal. It is all done with a passion. Our servant was not only a good waitress, but a funny one as well. I can tell he likes his job and rightfully so. The seats we picked were in the back of the restaurant, which has an outdoor theme minus the view. Now the pizza was phenomenal. I am extremely critical with pizzas as they are at the top of my food chain and boy did they delivered. Every bite was filled evenly to the core. I understand why the chef takes his time making it. He treats his pizzas with care and it shows. I had a custom white pizza with spinach and my wife had a pie with pepperoni. Excellent service and excellent food. Not much to criticize other than a few flies strolling around, but what do you expect? They probably love the pizza too. Anyways, I recommend this place to families as well as couples. Great place to eat pizza with quality rather than quantity. Cheers!
I ordered a white pizza and added spinach. The food came quickly and it was delicious! My table also ordered a meatball and onion pizza with red sauce, and I felt this one to be worse. The restaurant had fast and friendly service! They accommodated my large party easily.
Felt compelled to share how pleasant my experience at Patsys was, specifically because of the server Tristan. Tristan was incredibly helpful and personable throughout our dinner. I really appreciate his service and his generosity. He was determined to make our meal special.
Went here for Mother’s Day and was not disappointed. Chicken Marsala was delicious!! Chicken parmigiana was good but not out of this world. Calamari was tender. Desserts were amazing! Overall a great dining experience. Definitely recommend and will be back to try the pizza!
Went on a random Wednesday at 5pm and the place was packed! Thats how you know the food is good. The menu is simple which means the foods they have on there.. they do REALLY well. The pizza is a must. But if youre gonna get something other than that itll still be good. They have a big wine selection and keep the bottles in coolers so the wine stays as fresh as possible.
It is my second visit in NY, and due to covid most of the places are closed to sit and eat, after looking for several options I found this place, and I got carried away by the recent reviews, and the truth is I was so disappointed and angry I spent 80 dollars on nothing.Orders fried calamari and two beers which they never brought, the waiter was very rude, he did not want to attend us, I asked him again to bring and very reluctantly he told me, oooh ok!Then we ordered a caprese pizza, the worst pizza of my life, 7elevens pizza would have been better, guys, how hard is it to make a pizza? It had no taste, the tomato was practically white, the basil black, I dont understand where to eat, I have never had a bad experience of food like that, honestly, please think carefully before going to this place, there are not many options open, but surely do not spend 80 dollars or 20 here
My family and I stayed up in Brooklyn this past weekend. I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We got there Friday evening and I was surprised we got a table so quickly. We got an appetizer, a pizza, and a cannoli for dessert. The food was absolutely the freshest tasting food Ive had at a restaurant in a long time. The staff was great and really had a teamwork feel about them. If our waiter was busy another waiter had no issue hopping in and getting us whatever we needed. Fantastic experience, so much so that we went back on Saturday. The food was reasonably priced and the staff made for a great experience.
Terrible! Ordered fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken, instead were served linguini in clam sauce with grilled chicken. Unbelievable, how could one be a cook and assume that customer wont complain. Bastardooss !!! Terrible wanna be italian cafe. Not even near it. Filing dispute.
The service was good. Their signature pizza was on point and their wine se lo section was excellent. My only observation is that it was not quiet child friendly. We were never offered a high chair for my friends son nor they have plastic cups for him to use until I ask for one.
I had lunch there yesterday and the place was almost empty. There was 2 people at the bar and us. The bartender was serving us and his service was nonexistent. We were there for 45 minutes, he never checked on us or refilled drinks. I had to find him to ask for check. The pasta and calamari was good but the arugula salad wasnt. Not worth the money.
Great food and great people! Ordered the eggplant parmigiana and a salad. Both were great, the waiter added some items to my salad that I requested with no hassle. This was my first time eating in New York, upon letting the waiter know, he immediately shook my hand and gave me a hug welcoming me! It really made my day!
Came here on a Monday night at 6pm and got seated immediately. We were only a party of 2 so we ordered one 16 pizza. We got the classic pizza with portabello mushrooms. They cut it up into 8 slices. The pizza was very delicious and their service was good too! We were almost able to finish the entire thing with one slice to spare. I took it home to my brother and he ate it 3 hours later reheated in the microwave and said it was amazing. You know its good when it still tastes good 3 hours later~~
A group of friends and I visited Patsy’s while walking around Atlantic for my birthday. We were greeted by great people behind the bar and were seated in a beautiful back sort of inside patio space, we ordered a pizza to get us started. After the waiter took our order we received our food. The pizza was great but the service was not. The waiter never checked in on us whether we needed anything else or not, we each took our last round of slices and the waiter takes the empty tray and comes to leave the check (that no one asked for) while we’re all still eating. There was no need to rush us out when the place wasn’t even full. Receipt said server was Kristian, if you go eat you’re better off at the bar.
We ordered a perfectly baked cheese pizza with a delicious pasta that includes clams, mussels, calamari, and prawns in a wonderful marinara sauce with black (squid?) pasta. OH MY GOODNESS! 5 STAR FOOD at a very reasonable price. We want Patsys to come to San Francisco. Oh, I wished we had gotten the waiters name. Great service. Very satisfied!
My daughter and I went to Patsys today at 2:30 pm and asked to be seated in a booth. We was told that we could not have a seat in the booth. We were the only one there at that time. A couple came in an hour later and requested a booth. They were seated near us at a booth. I asked the waitress why didnt we get a booth as requested and was told that the lady was a regular. I said we could become a regular but will not be interested. I will not be returning to that pizzeria again. The pizza was good though.
Sadly, I think the food here was very mediocre. There really wasnt any highlights. We were really looking forward to at least some decent pizza since after all, its a pizzeria (in the name). But the pizza was just okay, really nothing special. But that was probably still the best part since the pasta was honestly subpar, shockingly. It was quite bland. Our garlic bread was surprisingly not too great either. So in all, I think 3 stars is pretty much the highest I can go.
Walking into Patsys you can expect three things: great pizza, youll be treated like family, and you wont want to leave. The food is fantastic...the menu hasnt changed much over the years, so they know what theyre doing. The staff will treat you extremely well. The owner or manager will chat with you...they may buy you a drink or two. At times, youll swear theyre doing everything possible to make you stay longer. There is zero pressure to turn the table over.Because of the above, youll find yourself enjoying your company, extending your conversation, and sticking around for awhile. Its an easy place to love...
Great place for quality, fresh tasting pizza. Perfect for families, probably not romantic dinners. Anthony and Michael always make us feel welcome, kids love seeing the pizza being made. The team spoils them on their birthdays. If theres a game on at Barclays, the wait time can be a little rough.
Maybe I missed something. Ordered a $21 (only size offered - which is convenient to them, not the customer) margarita pizza. Basic, simple, difficult to screw up. It was uninteresting in every way. Competent boring crust. Poorly distributed mozzarella (yes it was fresh but there were large uncovered sections and several areas where it just ran off the pizza. Almost non existent sauce both in taste and volume. Maybe that explains the lack of flavor, or salt or anything interesting. There are hundreds of better pizza places in NYC and Brooklyn.
I ordered from here via Uber eats, thinking I can indulge into a warm & toasty pizza to support local businesses during these times. However, when the pizza came in my hotel- it had a little label stating that it needs to be heated in the oven. The pizza was obviously freshly made the morning off, which I dont have an issue with. The issue I have is that I am healthcare worker visiting NYC to help with the COVID-19 pandemic. Hotels dont even have microwaves or refrigerators; yet alone ovens to heat a pizza. I am super disappointed- word of advise if your shipping the pizza to a hotel during these times, please have it ready to go for customers to eat. Maybe on your website, social media platforms please let customers know the pizza is cold and must need oven heated.
New York style pizza is their main focus and they do it well. They only other thing on the menu that I have had is the rice balls, and they were also good. Since they are so close to Barclay Center is best to avoid them when an event is scheduled. Unless of course you like fighting your way through large crowds.
Man what a disappointment. Love the one in the city. Walked in and the dude seemed bothered I came in. All tables empty inside. Sat down and the same guy walked by a couple times. Didn’t say anything. Didn’t take order. After 10 minutes no where to be found so I walked out.
Patsys used to be really good but sadly I think it has gone downhill. Quality of pizza was mediocre at best. Nothing special. Think mall pizza. Our salad was a small portion and bland (I remember Patsys salads - at least in the old Chelsea 14th St. location - being huge, tasty and generous). The only positive was the bartender who served us. Pleasant Russian lady. Everything else was overpriced ($$) and sub-par. I will not be going back for sure.
Great place for drinks, food, or just pizza, anytime. Staff is friendly and very helpful. It has a large semi- closed room (heated) in rear of main dining and bar. You can see Barclays Center from front door. Not sure of price/value, as I attended a party for my granddaughter at this place.
Place was amazing! My friend and i dropped by because we were in the area. Asked for a eggs Benedict pie and they didnt have, the owner overheard us and personally told the chef to make the sauce for the pizza and in 30 minutes our pie was done. We got another pie while the benedict was being perfected and both pies were amazing. The owner was so cool and took pictures with us. Great place definitely recommend it. The environment is so different looks like the italian mafias spot reminds me of A Bronx Tale.
As soon as we walked in, we felt like family!!! The manager walked us right back, making us feel welcome and right at home. The service was top knotch and the food blew us away!!!! We ate at Julianas early this week and this pizza seriously takes the cake! I had to cut my 9 year old son off because I thought he might get sick lol.Next time we are in Brooklyn, Patsys will be our first stop!!!!Do NOT miss this place, best around!!!!
A bit expensive. But very tasty. For some reason the servers did not offer us the free bread they offered to everyone else. My guess is because we were underdressed. But they might just have forgotten. Just wierd that they kept offering it to all the tables around us. I still tipped well because the pizza tasted really good.
We called ahead to make sure a party of 5 could be seated, and when we got there we had to wait over 15 minutes while they scrambled to find seating for us. A game had let out and filled up the place quickly, but it was still annoying that we couldnt be seated after we had been told on the phone theres be no problem. We also had a 4year old with us, so waiting was really a problem. Additionally, once we were seated, we had to ask the server for a booster seat (which they dont have) and a coloring sheet. Id expect them to be prepared with that after we had spent so much time waiting inside to get seated. The food was very good, and the sports TV wasnt too loud. I think on a less busy night this would be a great dinner spot.
This place is surely one of the most pleasant place to eat in the neighborhood. Anytime I visit this place I am profoundly pleased. They maintain their very high level service and the highest level of cooking they serve. You will be always satisfied with this place. Highly recommended.
Hands down the worst delivery pizza I’ve ever had. It arrived cold with a sticker on the box that said to heat it up in a skillet. It tasted factory-made. And was very expensive ($30 for a large w/ 2 toppings on one side and 1 topping on the other side). Will never order from here again.
My friend and i walked in 10 minutes before they were closing but the owner welcomed us in with open arms! the food was good. plenty vegetarian options, which was great. my carnivore friend loved the food as well. the waiter (I forgot his name, im sorry!) was very very sweet, especially to have had to wait on annoying customers that come in right before closing lol. The manager on duty, Sammy, was VERY nice. He gave my friend and I a free shot before walking out. definitely going back and bringing people with me!
Patsys is the best pizza Ive had in my life...and not only Pizza- the spirit of the people working there and the owners- and the history---makes me understand why Sinatra had this pizza brought to him where-ever he was playing. I am a health-food fanatic- and like to eat food that leaves me feeling energized and ....well, that is made with love. Whatever these people are doing is extraordinary. I feel like this pizza is actually healing. Ive eaten so much both times Ive gone and I actually feel great afterwards- and the following day. Tony- the owner- is a serious gem of a human being. Youre lucky if you get to go to Patsys...its one of the places in the world where people infuse love into their work! Yay!
Good traditional Brooklyn pizza the way its supposed to be. I ordered online while I was waiting for my train at Atlantic Terminal, it was ready very promptly, Everyone on the train was very envious of my Patsys pizza. You may ask cant you just get pizza in Nassau county? Answer: nope, not like this, its that good. Pizza from Brooklyn & Patsys has changed my whole outlook on Pizza forever.
Terrible, lasagna tasted like pork stuffing, and spaghetti was hard, meatballs were terrible. Can I say terrible, we didnt eat, I offered to pay check and they let me pay for one dish and removed ther other. 25.00 for 2 glasses of water. Disappointing to say the least...
Great spot for lunch, as most of park slopes cafes dont open until 5pm. lovely to be able to sit in the back - plenty of shade and fresh air, the perfect combination. they have a few sandwiches for $10 (lunch only), but otherwise everything is dinner prices. for some reason still not as tasty as the Patsys Ive been to in Union Sq or Upper East side, but still high quality brick oven thin crust goodness.
Patsys has excellent pizza, but if youve heard of them, you already knew that. What makes Patsys truly stand out from the crowd is the atmosphere. Every single employee--every one--greets you with a smile and a hello. When we brought my four-year-old son, they went out of their way to accommodate him and made him feel welcome. It is not easy to find somewhere in Brooklyn that is friendly, much less child-friendly, and I cant say enough about that. Today we were warmly greeted as well with handshakes and smiles, and one of the servers even remembered us from a month ago.The food is outstanding and the prices are quite reasonable, but the biggest asset that Patsys has going for it is the warmth and friendliness from the moment you walk in until the time you leave. Go right now.
The food was okay, but the service wasnt good. We came in an hour before closing when the restaurant was still crowded. By the time we finally got our food, our waiter was just chilling with the other waiters in a booth. It took us a long time to get his attention. Please wait to chill until closing time.
Pizza tastes pretty good- but dont expect take out hot pizza even when you wait for 40 minutes being talked to by very friendly people as they forget about who you are and what you ordered. By the way- this happened three separate times-- the last time was the very last time we will do Patsys.
Considering its located in the hottest spot in Brooklyn, Id expect the food to be tastier, it was not. I never thought you could mess up veal parmesan, but they did. Patsys Pizzeria in Brooklyn is doing the Harlem spot a disservice. Im from Bklyn & travel 2 Patsys in Harlem often, thats y I was excited when the Bklyn location open. What a big disappointment.
Place on dean street should go from patsys to Sals ......Black people, your money or time is not valued to that establishment ..I took a cab there and arrived 1 hour before closing time, to have a Friday dinner ...I was turned away (in a fairly tasteless bland pizza shop!) Saying they were closed ..only to watch guests of other races be allowed in.....so Black people beware, avoid Sals pizza..Do The Right Thing
I always like Patsys ,but I always want to invest.more money after the bill comes.because it will break your wallet.delicous, and expensive.good choice.for party of four or more and order a few dishes to sample. My favorite margarita pizza and chicken marsala .cheese ravoili cream sauce.
My daughter and I had dinner there before the Il Volo Concert on February 17th. I had the chicken Marsala (in honor of Ignazio Boschetto and my daughter had lasagna. Both dishes were exactly like I make at home, which says a lot for an avid Italian cook. It is the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. One little and very funny mishap and the waiter brought us a glass of red wine. Now when I go back to Brooklyn my hometown I know where to have lunch or dinner.

2022-03-25Had an amazing night! Came here on a very busy Thursday night, right before the 7pm show. The staff was super nice and made sure we got our food quickly because they knew we were in a rush. Ordered a grilled octopus and truffle burrata, both were absolutely amazing! My friend ordered truffle fries and cheese ravioli and loved her food as well. Will definitely be back again! We were very pleasantly surprised with this little gem!

2022-07-08Wow, amazing! We were in town from Sacramento California. Patsys came highly recommended. So after walking across the Brooklyn bridge we made our way to Patsys for dinner. my friend actually visited more than once while she was in town and we almost did too. The food seems so simple yet it is so flavorful. Of course Real New York Pizza was on our list of food to try. I think this is the best pizza and Caesar salad I have ever tasted. We highly recommend

2021-11-25II love the vibe in here!! the employees were super nice. the pizza was pretty good and it was inexpensive. definitely would visit again.the service was really quick. got a plain pizza pie and split it with two other people. their pizza is thin and you can tell it’s fresh out the oven.

2021-10-28Pizza was delicious. Pies only, no individual slices. Old school NY style pizza with flavorful sauce and melty cheese. Thinner crust (less carbs), crunchy cornicione/trim, and not too greasy. Large pie w/one topping $30+/-. Approx 8 slices.Restaurant and bathroom clean. No stale odors or funky smells. Service was excellent! Friendly, attentive, and available.Outdoor seating in back and front. Back outdoor area is heated. Front/street outdoor area is enclosed.

2021-09-10Very disappointed with our dinner. We ordered Meat Ball Param and Chicken Param. The Meat Ball Param was one meat ball sliced and the chicken Param was over cooked and tuff. We reported it but they did nothing to accommodate us. If I return Ill stick to ordering their pizza only.

2022-01-16Service was great, but the pizza was mediocre at best & gave me diarrhea. For my capricciola were talking straight-from-the-can un-herbed tomato sauce, tasted like maybe some butter or fake butter, maybe 6 olives sliced over the whole pie, big, uneven chunks of mushroom which cooked unevenly and cold prosciutto on top. Unbelievable for nearly $40, and I didnt even finish the leftovers when I saw what it did to my digestion.

2021-11-27The food was solid, I tried the pizza, the eggplant rollatini and the brownies. What I really loved is the heated patio, luminous and cozy, and our waiter who was attentive and friendly.

2022-04-11Wow... after walking all over the city and then the Nets game it was wonderful to find a restaurant with no lines, impeccable service, deliciously and expeditiously prepared food. Loved it... yes the pizza is wondrous. The sangria is rich and tasty and nothing beats a draft pint of Peroni with the pizza. I highly recommend.
