I ordered food told them a time I would be home the ordered stated the time was around when I was getting home however food was dry and cold all 3 pizza’s They arrived around 5:15 ? Don’t know y probably won’t order again I placed the order at 4:30 knowing full well it’s at leased an hour wait I said in a message I’ll be home around 5:30 so leave the food seeing as when I ordered the delivery time was between 5:35 and 5:35 so 5 min no big deal however it was dropped it around 5:15 pizza was inedible and cold I’m not mad the food around the area is not good I just don’t understand how people can’t follow simple instructions
Since moving to Schenectady, I had lost hope of finding excellent pizza nearby after some trials and tribulations. Now, I have seen the light. Thank you, Paulie.

Brick oven pizza is excellent. Definitely not the grease bomb you get with other local shops. The online ordering was easy and accomodated our very unique order, which included half toppings and crispy. A wide variety of toppings are available. Highly recommend.
The cheeseburger pizza and chicken parmesan pizza is absolutely amazing. I’ve probably ordered 8 or 9 pizzas from these young college kids and they’ve all been a party in my mouth. I live down the street from Paulie’s and it’s the reason I’ve had to diet.
In a town that has great pizza Paulies is probably the best. Crust is always perfectly cooked, quality ingredients too. Wings are also great. Cant recommend them more highly. Five stars.
I gotta say the food is great there. Honestly I think its probably the best brick oven pizza. The subs there are delicious and I always find myself wanting more.
While visiting with my good friends this evening I enjoyed some of the best pizza Ive had in many years. Absolutely delicious sauce cheese and Dough made for a wonderful and delightful Pizza Pie! And then came the wings. What shall I say. I needed baby wipes just to clean up after the mess. Highly recommend this Eatery to all in the area and even those who wish to travel far for amazing food.

The gentleman who answered the phone was very helpful and kind. The quality is amazing. I base my opinion of pizza very heavily on the crust and this one is wonderful. Thin NY style crust with a nice crunchy edge without being too hard to chew, good little air pockets and a really nice flavor. I wish Id known they deliver to my area sooner!Also worth noting that their hot and medium wings are actually buffalo sauce which is great because a lot of places in this area have a weird thick spicy sweet sauce that they call by the same name which has been disappointing for me on a few occasions.
Food is always rushed never cooked properly clearly understaffed,would love to come work at Paulies as long as I’m entitled to the nys labor law breaks one 30 minute break and 2 15 minutes for a full time shift and establishment seems very hectic would have to be paid very well to be there.
Im from Long Island so pizza anywhere else is very hard to find it good! They are AMAZING! Took me a while to find a great pizza place upstate and Paulies is it!!!! I recommend you give them a try! You wont regret it! 😊

Paulies is the undisputed Pizza champ of Schenectady. You wouldnt really think it to look at the place but they do everything JUST RIGHT. Crispy, saucy, cheesy pies. Prompt delivery, super consistent. Crispy pizza with very little flop, nice and saucy balanced pies. I never write reviews, but honestly I feel compelled to pat these guys on the back. So many friends will tell you a local pizza joint is great, and they almost always under deliver. Paulies is the exception to the rule. I hope theyre in business for many years.
I love the square cut pizza and garlic knots here, but I really need to learn my lesson and pick it up myself. The last two times have taken 1.5hrs to deliver with the pizza half cooked one time.
I visited this place on Friday April 30, 2021. I was very disappointed and unhappy. I ordered a Turkey Sub and the roll was very hard and burnt they had toasted it and didnt even ask me if I wanted it toasted I never have it toasted I hate that. I also ordered Carrot cake and got a very small slice for $3.99 way over priced for what I got. I will never be going there again.
Terrible pizza. Sauce had no flavor. They were amazing when I first tried their pizza last year. Not sure what happened. They’re still pretty busy on weekends so I guess some ppl still like them.
We been going there for a while the last two times we been very disappointed. We had an extra large round not completely done and then this week we order two pies one was done and the other was over done cheese was burnt. Now we have to go looking for a new place to buy pizza.

Great pizza place. I had the buffalo chicken pizza with medium sauce and it was really good. Definitely recommend ordering ahead as this place is busy.
Ordered our food at 730pm and the girl was a little bit rude to begin with and we had to repeat ourselves over and over. Finally ordered and paid over the phone. We were told it would take about a half hour. Little did we know it would take an hour and fifteen minutes. On top of that the food was cold and my boyfriend ordered cheese fries and we got regular old soggy fries. 0/10 recommend. I will never order from this place again!
First time here. Ordered chicken parm dinner. Wow. The food was very good, the garlic bread was also delicious. We were impressed by the portion size. Plenty enough for even the biggest eater. Look forward to my next trip to Paulis when I may try a pizza which everyone seems to love but I surely will be ordering the chicken parm dinner again real soon.
Ordered a 24 cut, they presented a 12 cut. Also 30 wings. However they cooked another 12 cut right on the spot. Both pizza and wings were excellent. Things happen, and they fixed it.
First & foremost, I absolutely LOVE Paulies Pizza. However, the last couple times Ive ordered the service has been less than standard. Two orders ago they forgot to put my requested blue cheese with my delivery order. I called to let them know & they still did not bring me any. Today, I called & ordered a simple pepperoni pizza for pick up. They quoted me 25 minutes. When I arrived they said it would be a few more minutes. No problem. However, I was seemingly forgotten about as several other customers walked in the store & were taken care of. After waiting about 20-25 minutes, I went back up to the counter to let them know the situation. When I told them my order again & that Id been waiting for 20-25 minutes, an employee proceeded to tell me hed been at work for however many hours. I can appreciate the fact that they were busy, however, I felt I was more than patient. Turned out that my pizza was ready to go & I was justified asking for an update on my order. Very upset with my past couple experiences & the fact that no one seemed to want to rectify the problem. Ive been a loyal customer for the past 4 years Ive lived here & have recommended Paulies to my family & friends. Unfortunately, if service does not improve, I will have no choice but to take my business elsewhere. I hope that is not the case because their food is great.
Made an internet order, which means they figured a tip in, which was my mistake. Order showed up after two hours and was cold. Too bad, because if were hot it might have tasted good. The standard pepperoni pizza was overcooked, and wings were tough and greasy (even though your choices online were crispy or saucy.)This place makes Dominos look good, avoid.
Theres your average pizza and wing jonts. Then you come across the ones that are a little better but everything still tastes over salty. This place is my favorite pizza Ive had around here . the sauce is pleasantly sweet it and nothing tastes over salted. They put a little corn meal I think on bottom so it reheats great in your oven. If you like traditional over salted food look elsewhere. Good staff.
Paulies Pizza is a solid pizza joint. They have a lot of pizza slice choices and are well priced. I like that the pizza crust is crispy and not soft or doughy.
Order a Calzone it was extremely soggy on the bottom. When I cut the calzone in half there was juice leaking out would not recommend anyone to come here, I was extremely disappointed. Its the only pizza store thats close by you would think the cooks and owner would take more interest in what they serve to customers.
Absolutely awesome food!! Definitely my kind of crispy and thin pizza. The wings are always crunchy and juicy with sauce, pasta dishes made with quality ingredients and the pizza sauce is amazingly flavorful. Id recommend ordering from Paulies any day, any time!
If you live in Schenectady, this should be your pizza night pizza. My typical order is medium cheese, pepperoni and black olives, wings extra crispy medium sauce.
Absolutely horrible service the lady that answers the phone or the little girl or whatever it is doesn’t even know what they have and don’t have its aggravating I was like do you have this this and this she was like uhhhhhh I don’t know and that had to check you shouldn’t have people working there that dont know how to do anything right that girl is horrible
I returned to the Schenectady area to visit family. The old go-to pizza place wasnt what it used to be so I decided to try Paulies based on the reviews I read. It did NOT disappoint. The pizza was fantastic. It was everything I remembered good NY pizza to be. Ill be back there next time Im in town.
This is the best pizza in town. I have tried them all and recommend Paulies to visitors and locals alike. They deliver in the time frame they quote you on the phone, but you can get your pizza much faster if you pick it up (and who wants to wait for such deliciousness). I like to get a salad with each pizza, always fresh as well. This place is a little gold mine in schenectady, dont miss it!
At a bar recently, I was told to try Paulies Pizza sometime. I tried it and must say.. this is some of the best pizza I have ever had. I preferred the 12 cut (square) to the 8 cut.. but both were great. I will keep coming here even with there being several pizza places closer to my house. Keep up the good work! Delicious!!
Unfortunately I’m disappointed again. The neighborhood is trying to keep businesses, restaurants going. Sorry Pauly’s you need to stop gouging your customers.. Very disorganized, sloppy service . My pizza a 12 cut for $23 had only 1 sausage link cut up on the whole pizza about two sliced mushrooms and maybe a quarter of an onion and barely any cheese and this was at 6 PM. Don’t know about you but I can make the same pizza at home for about 5 bucks with 3 x the toppings.

Worst customer service I have ever received at a dining establishment. I called and ordered a 12 cut pizza, because their sizes are 6 cut, 8 cut and 12 cut so I assumed it was like small, medium and large and I wanted a large pizza. When it got delivered it was a square thick crust pizza that looked nothing like the round thin crust pizzas on their website. I called and told them I was not expecting a square pizza and they should put it on their website if a pizza is square. I said the driver just dropped it off if you want to have him come back and get it that is fine I am not going to eat it and I asked for a refund. The person I was talking to put Paulie himself on the phone and who told me no he would not give me a refund and he sarcastically said he is sorry that I am uninformed. How could I be informed when the website doesnt say it is square?, Well everyone knows that if there is no inches listed next to the pizza, it is square. was his response. I dont know if their round pizzas are any good because I just moved to the area and this was the first time I ever ordered there and it was the last. My trash can is full of a loaf of bread pretending to be pizza if anyone reading this is really hungry though.
Probably the best pizza and wings I have ever had. Amazing aroma the minute you open the box. I would have to say hands down the best pizza in Schenectady. I will definitely be back for their garlic hot wings!

Sauce was a little sweet for my personal taste but all around a great pie! Had a cornmeal like crust but trust me, it worked!Very efficient in back, nice counter people and a comically big XL pie....we just moved to the area and this will probably be our go-to
Low quality, processed, small portions, owner was rude and dismissive when I called to complain that the chicken on my sub was not cooked he said that was impossible because the chicken was pre-cooked from the manufacturer. There are many other pizza places in Schenectady that try a lot harder and do a lot better dont waste your money.

This was my second and last order with Paulies after the latest issue. Im not sure if the issue is them or Grubhub but I recieved a blatantly wrong order the first time (though the food was fine) and this time we never recieved our food. Grubhub states Paulies canceled the order while Paulies stated it was on the way 2 hours later. I dont care whose fault it is and Ill save my sanity and cease to order from either. 🤷♂️
Heard the food was good. So I decided to give it to try.. And it was AMAZING. There sandwhich was huge feed both my young children. And the slices they have are unique and looked so good. By far my new favorite place. The sauce is sweet yet so good. I cant wait to order again.
Went in there for eggplant parmesan and an antipasto salad. The eggplant parmesan was on ....nothing special to write home about. The antipasto sass salad was horrible. Someone needs to teach the person that made it how to make an antipasto salad. It was 90% lettuce 10% cucumber, onions pickled red peppers, cheese and meat. Definitely wont be going back. 1st and last time.
First time ordering here...Im New to schenectady and was looking for a pizza spot equivalent to a local favorite back home. The chicken Parm sub is sooo delicious!!! And the buffalo garlic wings are devine!!!! Better than my favorite pizza spot back home!!!!! Delivery guy was very polite! Great place to order from I will be ordering again!!!!

The pizza was outstanding, although I would adjust what goes on it the next time. Using the phone to order was okay but it is a little difficult to send the credit card with it, on a pickup they could physically look at the card.
Nothing impressive about this pizza or wings and Im not a picky eater.. not only was the pizza luke warm the wings were crispy to the point where the bones broke. All around a bad experience never again.

We (hubby and I) just started ordering from there a few weeks ago and everything we have ordered was delicious. The only complaint I have is there werent many toppings on the pizza.

I order frome Paulies at least once a week and the service is always fantastic. The pizza always arrives hot like it just came out of the oven. Its become a weekly tradition that my kids look forward too. Friday after school the first question is always Dad,what time are you gonna order Paulies?

Paulies Pizza used to be a good place to order from and then they change their menu and up their prices pretty high and every time we order they say 40 45 minutes and up being over an hour and they also snuck in a dollar fifty delivery charge that they to used to not have the food isnt too bad but definitely isnt worth the money.
Pizza and wings are ok but ordered on line twice and order was never started had to wait for them to make it both times. Other times they just forget to make part of your order all together.

2021-11-30The pizza at Paulie’s is always perfect and one of the best in the area. I prefer the thin crust but their square pizza is excellent as well. Boneless wings are always great and their sauces are high quality and tasty. Eggplant parm was incredible. I’ve never had anything bad from their menu and their customer service is also top notch and friendly every time.

2022-03-07I consider myself a pizza guy! I’ve had pizza all over the country. By far one of the best. Daughter had a swim meet and union and I wanted something quick. Pizza is always my fallback. Brick oven pizza,great crust,delicious taste! Even my daughter who does not like pizza asked me to get more after her meet!

2022-05-12I ordered subs a wrap and wings… the first time I ordered a couple months ago the wings were mushy… so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again… asked for extra crispy wings… same thing…mushy wings with hardly any sauce… I recieved a grilled chicken salad When I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with lettuce cheese and tomatoes…I called them they brought me a wrap with only chicken… nothing else……and half of it was fleshy and raw I’m assuming because they were leaving for the night and it was the end of the day and they were just rushing. If I could give zero stars I would..never again.

2022-05-10The wings were so good! We had bone in spicy bbq anf boneless mild. The pizza reminded me of a place I went to as a kid. Yum!!!

2019-01-10Three and a half stars truly. A solid local pizza joint. Tried a slice fresh from the oven and an Italian mix sub. The bread was warm and tasty, the meats and cheese were good quality. The slice was pretty good, nothing to write home about but solid. The cheese and sauce eclipsed the dough. Weak crust. Fast and friendly service. Place was pretty clean looking. Give it a try!

2022-01-18The food is great for years and is even getting better lately, but the service is slipping hard in recent months. Aside from being put on infinite hold regularly (3-4 times in the last month), I just got told that tonight they wont do a small order of mixed fries and onion rings. I hate to have a reason to complain publicly, but this place has been increasing my disappointment for a while now. I wish Celadon Thai around the corner was still open. I never had a bad experience with them.

2022-01-16Ok im from Manhattan, so finding delicious pizza in upstate ny hasnt been easy ... i moved to Schenectady and found Paulies Pizzeria, and wow talk about melt in youre mouth pizza everything from the sauce, cheese, toppings and crust was just superb quality and they definitely dont skimp on the toppings either.... I just loved every scrumptious bite !!! I was starting to feel like the art of Good quality pizza making was a dying art .... But Paulies pizza is made from the heart and you can tell they take pride in making quality pizza... Im so happy I found them !
