The best place around! I often shop looking for awesome stuff, I have had very good experiences with everything I have purchased at the store. They are always super nice! Every time I randomly show up, I find new things that I want. I try to stop in one or twice a month to see what kind of new things arrive. They are always very cool with trading things, and give a very competitive price compared to other shops. This place is really my favorite and my first stop when I need to sell things, each time, I got more than I figured! The Best Place to Pawn it, is at Pawn it!!!
I have been resistant on coming into pawn shops in general but finally went into Pawn It and I wish I went in sooner!They have a lot of games, electronics, tools, jewelry, and so many other things I could go on and on. You can have fun time looking around here and find a great deal.Highly recommend you check them out ☺️
Great customer service!! But unfortunately the price that was offered to me for a brand new iPad Air 3rd Gen Wifi + Cellular was crazy low. I understand that the value of the product goes down after you open the product. But if paid $869 and was only offered a $100 that sucks and it’s not a very fair price at all.
I’ve bought a great variety at the Elmwood location and am always alway impressed by the store’s inventory. It’s even fun to bring the kids! We’ve purchased TVs, sterling silver rings, a saxophone, a play station slim always at a great price.Customer service is stellar, whether yr selling or buying, haggling or not. I highly recommend checking this place out.
Owner was professional and courteous. We chatted pawn shop metrics and he had a good supply of merchandise if you are looking to buy. I was however not able to get a price I felt was reasonable for the merchandise I was looking to sell so I left without transacting, Its ok, its just business, I just defaulted to eBay and sold my merchandise for exactly the price I was looking for. If you are looking for a quick sale and need immediate cash, he may be the guy for you. I may be back to make a deal to purchase some tools as he did seem to have a good selection of those and hed probably be willing to negotiate.
I really respect and value this establishment and owners/employers!! They are ALWAYS polite, professional, fair and friendly. Just recently a situation came up, that out of respect and for personal reasons I will keep private...the details are irrelevant, what matters is the situation was handled with integrity and I am even more of a fan of these two gentleman that own this establishment!! I felt it necessary to leave leave a review, because I think it is really amazing to be able to say, I know of this great pawn shop, that is fair and honest and has integrity! I have always had fair deals there. Jeff the owner went oit of his way to find and bring me a sump pump that i was looking for. Not such a good experience with his employees but hes cool and fair ..the only pawn shop ill go to for sure.
This is a great store. I was in a bind and needed cash for my laptop that i no longer used. Cullen was the guy who helped me. He got me the money i needed, at a decent price too! I had gone to a couple of other pawn shops and was offered the most money here! Definitely worth a visit! I ended up going back and buying other items as well just recently. I was happy to see the same guy that helped me before. He hooked me up just as good the second time around! Go check it out!
I have come into this shop on many occasions and every single time whether Im making a purchase or selling something the guys have been friendly, kind and respectful but most importantly they are always FAIR. We purchased a fender guitar for our sons birthday and it is still working great. I would recommend them for anything you may need .
Great local shop located in the heart of North Buffalo. The staff does a excellent job of verifying the value of items to ensure you get the best deal. I was surprised the first time I walked in when I saw how large of a space they have for displaying items. And they have a great selection. Its not just another pawn store that has nothing on display and gives you pennies on the dollar. They will do trades, loans, or buy your item straight out. PAWN IT!******************
Jeff ; owner and head counter man at pawn shop was beyond welcoming as soon as you open the doors. He was easy to talk to and we ended up chatting for longer than your average transaction. He gave me an awesome deal for my merchandise and i will be back in the future for some more items. Definitely reccomend to make this your go to pawn shop.

I am a total film fanatic. I own over 1500 DVDs and am always on the look out for movies that I feel I NEED to enhance my collection. So, when a good friend told me about a near by pawn shop that had an entire wall of DVDs I knew I had to go. The first time I saw the store I was blown away. They really, literally have an entire wall of DVDs, not to mention I later found out that they frequently cycle the movies with the veritable treasure trove they must have hidden away. Which is another nice thing. Many pawn shops or worse thrift stores have a lot of stuff, but its everywhere impossible to get at! But not at Pawn It. There you have nice clear pathways as well as fairly easy access.That first trip I walked out with 18 new movies for just $20. There is nowhere you can get a better deal! Not to mention that each of the films was choice. Everyone played flawlessly.That was a few months ago. Since then I have been back several times. Each time I had no trouble walking out with a large variety of films that I had been on the prowl for, well a long time. In fact just today I came across a foreign film that I have been trying to track down for ten years! It never fails to amaze me no matter how frequently I go in I never have trouble getting films that werent there the time before (many of which are relatively new movies too).But the really best feature, and the main reason why I am now a steadfast customer, is the staff. As I said, I am a film buff, so I have a great memory for actors and lines and scenes. It was very nice to receive help from someone who also has that kind of knowledge. Getting new stuff is always fun. But at Pawn It, from the time you enter to the time you cash register, you dont have deal with any stress!

Came into Pawn it on elmwood ave and was very impressed at how friendly the staff was once I walked in. I had a few things I was looking to sell and couldnt believe how easy it was. Not only was it easy but I was offered a generously fair amount for the items. I will absolutely be back.

Came in on 09/13/2019 (Friday) was told that they were understaffed with 2 people behind the counter and 2 customers including myself. I was advised to come back on 09/14/2019(Saturday) because there would be more staff available here to buy my stuff. Came in on said Saturday at noon because he told me hours were 10am-6pm. Here it is now nearly 1 pm and still the doors are locked with the lights off. No explanation to why the store is closed during its business hours clearly posted on their website,Facebook, and employee knowledge. I would of given a 0 star rating if it was allowed but I will leave it as a 1 star review and recommend trying somewhere else that opens when they say they are.
I recently went into a business of cleaning out houses that went into foreclosure. These houses always have things in them that are sellable, so I started going to pawn stores with some of the items that I found and the only place out of 5 in the area which I live in that was reasonable was pawn it. They were not only reasonable with pricing the items I had they even came to get one of the items because I couldnt fit it in my car, without even charging me. I would recommend this pawn store to anyone before going anywhere else.
I have been coming into pawn it for about 3 years and I have yet to have a bad thing to say about this establishment. I never feel like they are trying to cheat me in any way unlike other pawn stores. Pawn it also has very reasonable prices and will work with you so both you as a costumer and pawn it both get a good deal. Every time I walk in there im greated with a smile and they are always polite. They have even given me money for an item when it wasnt really worth anything just because I have been a costumer for long...
Pawn It is the only pawn shop in Buffalo worth walking into. The customer service is great. I never walk out the door empty handed. I have been coming for years and I will never go anywhere else. Staff is always courteous and fair. I recommend Pawn it to all my friends and family.
Pawn-It is amazing! The staff is friendly and helpful. Theyre also honest and fair. They keep the shop clean and they get a lot of really cool stuff! Its fun to look around at their inventory.
I want to give this shop a 5 star review but I cant only because of the one employee that worked at their old location on transit road. He was always rude and sarcastic about everything, he would never offer a fair price and be little me because of what I wanted which is crazy because if I waited for any other employee they would give me a fair price on the same exact item !!! But every time Lisa or Jeff was in I had a great experience and they would always give me a fair price or if we couldnt come to an agreement they would atleast let me know why which is understandable. Now that location isnt open anymore so I dont know if the one man still works with them but Im going on today to bring in some items and hopefully the employees at the elmwood location are different and not rude. If so I will be changing my rating to a 5 star because everything else about the shop is great. They have great items, the stores are clean. And Jeff is a great guy I always end up talking with him for much longer then I expect to stay in a pawn shop and him and Lisa make the experience a great time. Both are reasonable people when it comes to making offers and try to make your experience there as friendly as possible. I wouldnt tell anyone to go to any other pawn shop but theirs !!!
The majority of you keep bringing up how great their prices are...but have you ever tried pawning something in urself to see just how great their services are exactly? Dont know about most of you but Im seeing some complaints in review on pawning conflictions.
My family has gone in a few times already and they kept telling me I had to check it out.. I finally went there and I was shocked with the amount of items they had and the wide range when it comes to tools.. I was like a old man in a candy shop. Grabbed a few small things and gave them an offer.. they took it!
Buffalo pawn it is by far the best pawn shop. They are honest the customer service is great. You will always get what your stuffs worth and they price there stuff so when u walk out the door you know u got a deal in a half.
So I went in here to pawn a 300 dollar bracket to get a small amount of cash just to hold me over until I got my first check at a new job. They refused to let me pawn it. Insisted that they would only buy it straight out. Place is called pawn it. And they wouldnt pawn a perfectly good piece of jewelry
I went in to Pawn It actually on my way to the casino. Its right down the street so that was convenient. I went in to sell my guitar and I ended up trading it for a better one (I think). You get double value if you trade your stuff. Cute jewelry too. Good place, friendly staff.

Went in today 7/27/2019. Ive been here before and have talked to the owner before. Today I was looking for a bike nice guy outside said he was just bringing them up so I went inside to check some stuff out see what else they got in. The owner as he kept calling himself (which I knew and understood as i have talked to him before and he has made this claim hank you and congratulations I believe you, you are the heart of America and I do not mean that slyly Im serious small business is the lifeblood of this country). I asked about a nintendo switch said he had one on hold for review and that i could put a deposit I said cool can i see it he said he would get it. It didnt have a dock so no go. I asked about wireless headphones he had a pair of JBL Free headphones same headphones I was actually wearing and purchased for $50 about a month ago. He shot me a price of $100 as they were NiB told him retail was $100 and I already told him I paid $50 for NiB a month ago from facebook (which is a very good deal as $75-80 would be good. After some talk he said they just came out a week ago - i misunderstood that as i knew they couldnt have come out a week ago as i already told him i got mine a month ago. Pretty sure be thought i was being rude as i didnt know he was talking about coming off the watch list a week ago. He went into exclaiming that this is the only business i the customer am wrong in. Ok understood yes this is a pawn shop you are correct and have seen a lot more than I have. However there is such thing as bad customer service and you being the owner should know that. I know you deal with thousands of people so ill let this slide but seriously man dont know if you felt inferior or what but thats not a way an owner should act and hopefully next time if there is a next time you remember this as it will be on the internet forever. My financee and I sold our tv to Pawn it. The employees were very respectful and helpful. I would highly recommend this store to anyone who is not only looking to sell something they have but also if theyre looking to buy something.
I called and asked for a price they could give for a stereo receiver. He asked for the model number and quoted me 60 bucks. When I got there he said he couldnt do more that 20. Said it was to old. Granted i gave him the model number and he plainly saw what year and model this was. Another time I called them to ask if they accepted motorcycle helmets and jackets. He told me no. If you look on their website you can see they have several helmets on display and jackets. Im not sure why he would blatantly lie, but even if they simply werent accepting them at this time, it would have been nice to know as opposed to just saying no, again an obvious lie. Id avoid this place as its typical pawn shop antics where youre not treated like a real person and they have contests to see how little they can give you for your possessions. Not really cool to lie about a price to get someone into the shop just to lowball them. All around shady and terrible customer service.

Never go here. If I could I would give 0 stars. I read most of the reviews so I thought it was going to be a nice place but it definitely wasnt. The most rude arrogant employees work here. I will never go back! The front counter dude was so rude. Pretty much judged me for trying to sell a Michael Kors Watch. Saying its a fossil watch when it was clearly over $300 and says Michael Kors on it. Then another employee says your buying the name. Well you are too if your selling it! Idiots! Im not expecting that kind of money but he didnt have to throw my watch down and say Im not interested in it. I was gonna look around but after that I got out of their. Instead I went to buffalo jewelry and loan and the guy was super nice. Even suggested to sell it myself because their are so many MK watches. I will deff be back their again! But never go here! If u want to have a bad day then go to pawn it. The employees will help you out with that!UPDATE TO RESPONSE BELOW:FYI! I had never asked for $300. You asked me what I would take for it and I said whatever you can give me and you with the almost bald headed man threw it on the counter and said Im not interested. Dont lie! A very uneducated pawn shop who disrespects customers. They are an embarrassment to the Queen City. Very low class. Employees act like they are above everyone who walks through the door. Ive been to thousands of pawn shops around the country and its very disappointing to know the worse one you could possibly imagine is in our backyards. They clearly dont have proper training and I do not recommend this place. Unless youre looking to have an awful experience and a buzz kill, just stop by this dump. 0 stars would be rating this place too high. Save your things and sell them on Craigslist, FB marketplace or eBay. Youll make anywhere between 60-90% more money selling your personal items.
The employees think they are smarter than you and try to low ball you as much as possible. They make you feel stupid and are very rude. They act like they know more than the customer and Are very arrogant. I went somewhere else and got double what they offered me. Take your business elsewhere. For shame!
Ive been there to sell items on 4 different occasions in the past year and a half. Each time in went they took 3/4 of what I was selling (at a very fare price). I was also treated with courtesy and respect when I went there. Im actually going there tomorrow with a few items from an estate sale,im hoping the transaction will go as smoothly as others have gone in the past.When people think pawnshops,they think ghetto places where they could be in physical danger or danger of getting ripped off. I would go there instead of the few other shops in the city they always give me fair prices when Im selling items also when I am buying something they are willing to go down on the price.i have been going there since they opened and are happy to do business with them.

Zero stars. Though I will give the young black man who tried to salvage, and a dark haired young man who was there as well the situation props for at least knowing to treat people with respect. I went to check out prices for a few pieces of gold I wanted to borrow against or sell. I was disrespected by the blond young man in a baseball cap who was not only very sarcastic , disrespectful, and utterly lacking in customer service skills. While I may not have been very knowledgeable about my jewelry, it did not warrant this young man treating me/speaking to me disrespectfully and accusing me of trying to tell him how to do his job. He clearly is thin skinned. Its not worth it to go into details but suffice it to say that I will never set foot in this place again. Never have I been treated so poorly!

Lower end spot. Deals in cheap things. Has no Jewelery of value for sale. Basically doesnt have anything of real value for sale I.e. Valued over 500 bucks. Prices are a bit high on what they have but they will negioate. Overall not a bad start just need to stop filling the place with old junk that nobody is going to buy.

Well, I was there today and was offered $100 dollars for the following;1. An iPhone 5S, 64 GB unlocked, international version. I was using it in Africa before I moved here. But the dude there started funy stories of how its not truly unlocked and can only be used on two networks and all of that. I just smiled within me.2. XBox 360, 8 GB3. Dell laptop with 500GB4. Nokia Lumia 1020 phone, international unlocked version5. XBox controller battery charger6. Parts HP tabletAll these was what I was offered $100 for!!!! I just thanked him (for the insult?) and left with my stuff! This was the first time in my life I every tried selling my stuff, and this is clearly the last time I will try such, thanks to pawn it! I was just laughing within me when I left and maybe, there are those they get to give up things at that price, but not me!

Friendly but they all think something that you brought in is fake or it’s broken when it’s not I get it’s a pawn shop but your store is not an expert at everything

2022-04-23Was asked about my experience here and it was and continues to be fair and courteous. Great staff and great deals. A tried and true outlet for my Star Wars and videogame collecting. Oh, and when you sell here you dont leave feeling taken advantage of. Very unusual for a pawn shop.

2022-07-03Tried to sell a gold necklace and watch only got offered $500 and I took it to king of diamonds and they gave me $1500 . Lowballers.and the money was for a family funeral they did not even care.

2020-09-12I went in to look at some DeWalt and rigid batteries for my drills . They had a really good selection and I believe I spoke to the owner. He gave me a good deal on 2 ridgid batteries. Just what i needed.. so super happy I decided to stop by this place toady!!

2019-09-28This is a really cool shop. I’m not from Buffalo and have been looking for a nice pawnshop with vintage/estate jewelry. They have a ton! And a bunch of other stuff.I went to a previous pawn shop before coming here and was pretty unexpressed with the jewelry selection and prices. So I was pretty shocked by how much of a selection this place has.They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I bought two gold rings and a super cool watch as well. While I was looking around they offered to clean/polish the rings and asked if I wanted to include my own personal rings I had on as well.So I walked out with two new rings, a watch, and professionally polished rings. Awesome! All of the staff also answered my questions and took their time. They offered great prices as well.Overall, I will be coming back for my pawnshop needs.

2020-09-12I stopped in to see if they had any Star Wars or Star Trek items for sale. I had heard from others that you just gotta check in often because they always are getting new items. I was able to find something for my son. He loves it!!

2018-05-31These guys carry excellent quality jewelry and are extremely fair on their prices. I have caught numerous silver chains and bracelets and have been more than satisfied. Very nice silver! Hard to find now days. I have also purchased dozens of tools from pipe wrenches to power saws. Never a problem and also the best prices in town! Best pawnshop around! Special thanks to Jeff for the great service and all the fellas there!

2020-05-02Nice pawn shop, containing the gamut of items you would expect from a pawn shop. Some interesting finds at this location. Ive been here a number of times to sell a few items and to buy a few things, as well. Prices are fair when buying or selling. Staff is courteous and helpful.
