Just had the loveliest experience buying a window ac over the phone. The worker, Kelly, was so thorough and kind throughout the entire process. He made sure I was aware of all the costs, delivery details, and answered all my questions with such patience. He took his time to make sure he got my information correct and made it point to ask me 2x if the info he had was correct before submitting the order. I was a first time customer, but now will be a lifetime customer and come to Kelly for any help.
As a property manager, I buy a lot of appliances. Every experience at this store has been quick and easy. Kamal Khan, with whom I mostly work, ensures speedy deliveries and timely updates on all my orders. He’s super responsive when it comes to service, as well. Delivery and installation is always very professionally done.
Walked in with some questions about the Philips hue lights. Jory greeted me initially and helped me to Tim who was very knowledgeable and answered about 200 questions I asked.These two guys were friendly and it made me want to come back for any further products I need to buy. Long gone are the days where you can get some honest help walking in to stores. This was extremely helpful for me!
PC Richard has always come through with great appliances, service plans and customer service. It’s wonderful supporting a neighborhood business and to get personal service, from the corporate office to the Atlantic Avenue location. Sayani has been great and helped us obtain a new dishwasher after a painful period of not having a machine for 3 months. Grateful!
Sales person (Mr John) was very helpful choosing my appliance. They followed up with a heads-up call & texts about my delivery including tracking texts. Delivery guys called to confirm Im home. Delivery guys removed and brought in my appliance with care. Even though there was a hauling fee included in the total bill I still tipped the delivery guys. 5⭐ for PC Richards & Son. As for rating the appliance, ⭐ rating to be determined.
I came in to make a new TV purchase and was kindly approached by Kelly Fields who confidently helped me with the final decision!!! He went down the line up with me and clearly pushed to explain why the one I’d buy was the best! He was so friendly and welcomed me warmly as I entered, I couldn’t help but feel like I’d be coming back very soon for my future electronics thank you !!!! 😊
James provided excellent customer service when we purchased our Miele washer-dryer. Trusted his personal experience with the appliance, which was detailed and informative—and he was really on top of it when we had a problem with the installation. He did everything he could to make things right after sub-par installation the first time around)—truly appreciated.
Kamal is the BEST sales associate I have ever met!!! He is my go to guy whenever I need anything for my home and I recommend my friends to shop with him I have known Kamal for many years and he helped furnish my new home with new appliances. I have been a loyal shopper at PC Richards for the past 20 yrs. Ive been to a host of locations all over the 5 boroughs but non compare to the Atlantic Ave location and the assistance I get from James A. He has made shopping there effortless and a joy. He is very knowledgeable and gives great insight into the products. James streamlines the shopping process in person or via phone. His customer service is 2nd to none from walking through the doors up until delivery. I cant be more grateful for his help.

Just had another 5-star experience at PC Richards. This location has been my go to for appliances for 18~ years. Tristan helped me with an AC purchase last year, so I asked for him by name when looking to make another major appliance purchase this week. He was able to give me information on availability and features that met my budget and needs. Thx for the excellent customer service, Tristan!Did I mention delivery is included? Last years AC delivery was for for a 4th floor walk-up--piece of cake for this NY business that understands we need delivery beyond the building entrance threshold!
My child needed a new wash machine. Staffers were nice & helpful that I brought something else for myself ... What gets me the most will all appliance & electronic store is they ALWAYS want you to purchase an extended warranty. 🙂 Its your choice ... You may need it⁉️Also they delivered the next day‼️

He then explained the differences btwn the sound systems and played the sounds. James is very knowledgeable and he helped me understand everything I needed to know. Sunday it was supposed to close at 5 PM. At 4:30pm the doors were closed. The staff inside was looking at us.This is following our visit a month ago with vendor less eager to sell than our Internet navigator. We tried supporting 4th av business.Unfortunately we know how the story ends.

TERRIBLE service. Last Saturday I was served by Ammar, a clueless staff member that I should have trusted my instincts never to order from. Every question that I asked him, he said, I dont know. I guess so. Im not sure. Vague answers where he said he needed to check the computer, but wouldnt check the computer unless I directly asked him to do it.I am in dire need of all 3 appliances and he talked me out of ordering a dishwasher. He also tried to talk us out of ordering an oven, until we pushed repeatedly to buy the floor model, in which case he finally came back and said he could get us a new one from the stock they have in the warehouse for us.I actually walked out of the store after that interaction and said, If my mom was here, she wouldnt have given that guy her business just based on principle. But hey... we were desperate, and we needed a fridge and an oven. We ended up ordering those 2 appliances in stock, and Ammar promised they would be delivered the following week. COI was provided on Monday. Come Friday morning (six days after our initial purchase), and with still no word, I called him to follow up and all of a sudden he was ready to schedule delivery tomorrow (Saturday). He said he would call back to confirm - but no word.I called again and he confirmed delivery for Saturday for a delivery window of 7am - 7pm. He was unable to provide even a 4 hour delivery window, instead requesting that I stay at home for 12 hours on a Saturday. When asked what would happen if I missed the delivery, he said, You can get your appliances next year then!I decided to call back and see if someone else could provide more info than him (since usually delivery drivers should be able to give you notice if theyre heading your way), and after being put on hold for 20 mins, Ammar picked up, screened my call, and then hung up on me. No joke.I called back using a different number and was eventually connected to someone else, who informed me that the delivery was never scheduled for Saturday. He was helpful enough and said he would call me back, but I never received a call back. I had no missed calls and no voicemails either. When I followed up the next day, he told me that Ammar had conflicting stories and that this wasnt the first time it had happened with a customer.I cant make this stuff up. I ended up canceling the order and buying the exact same 2 appliances plus the dishwasher from Appliances Connection. Lesson learnt. Trust your gut or waste another week without a fridge.PC Richard, you need serious training for your employees or otherwise people like Ammar are going to drive everyone off with their lack of knowledge and incompetence.

Tremendous selection and helpful staff, went the extra mile to price match my purchase and save me some money. If you’re tired of the crowds and waiting at best buy or target, go with what works; my grandmas been going to PC Richards since the ‘70s and they’re still just as good today.

Aaron was our sales rep and was very helpful. We ordered 2 TVs, one back during Father’s Day and one for Columbus Weekend, that we researched and the transaction was smooth and painless. He checked in to make sure we were happy with purchase and install. So, we came back for TV #2. We were able to have our old equipment hauled away at little cost to us. Even when the installation for TV #2 hit a snag, an alternate bracket was needed for the installation, Aaron was able to rectify the situation with ease. In addition, when we had an issue with the haul away crew. Aaron was able to step in and fix the miscommunication about what was ordered to be hauled away. All in all, Aaron is your go to guy that will get it done. Aaron you are the man!!!
I work in retail, so great customer service is a big for me. Let’s just say Tristan embodies the very fiber of Great customer service!!!! As a entered he store I was greeted with a warm welcome and though I had no idea what I wanted as a gift for my son who is so into technology. Tristan took his time and went into great details about what would be a great girt for him, he was patient and answered every question I asked even though at time I felt he may have gotten frustrated with me lol , he did not. I was encouraged to buy a Samsung washing machine and it was not connected properly , not by PCRICHARDS work men they came and did nothing . The machine is still there I havent used it since.
We were at P.C. Richards over the weekend looking for an AC and there was a gentleman who seemed like he did not want to help us find a decent AC with a reasonable price. The one we saw online he simply said was not in stock and left. Then we ran into Tristan, a true gentleman, he was patient, understood our needs and he was wonderful. Tristan was awesome and I want to thank him for his time, knowledge and excellent customer service. He helped us find an AC within our budget!
I recently purchased a mattress at PC Richards. Usually these kinds of purchases are uneventful and routine, but the salesman, Donald Davis, made the experience enjoyable and memorable. His humor and expertise cemented my definite return to this PC Richards. The mattress price was good too.

Normally I would go to best buy for anything electronic related however I decided to give P.C Richard & Son a chance since it was closer. Went into PC Richardson in search of a new AC during this past heat wave in NYC. My current AC struggled to keep my room cool. Luckily Tristian was able to help me out. He was very knowledgeable and helped me pick the right AC to have my room feeling like Alaska. I recently renovated my kitchen and needed all new appliances. I went to PC Richards to by appliances from a few different brands based on research I had done myself. I met Kristen at the Atlantic Avenue store. She showed me what I had in mind, a Miele dishwasher, liebherr fridge, and a bertazonni range and hood. She also suggested a Thermador package instead. I knew of the brand as more of a premium one and thought it to be out of my budget. She did the numbers and based on a package price it was only marginally more than what I would have spent on the different brands. I had concerns about delivery times, having read of longer waits than usual during Covid. Throughout this process Kristen assured me she could get the products on time. Her manner was always kind and considerate and I never felt that I was being up sold. During the wait period (I didn’t need the appliances for 12 weeks) she would check in with me to let me know when each one had arrived and was being held in the warehouse. She was very honest and reassuring to deal with. Upon delivery and couple of small pieces were missing and I messaged her and she took care of it seamlessly. I highly recommend Kristen at PC Richards Atlantic Avenue to anybody buying new appliances. Of the making people I had to deal with during my renovations she was one of the easiest and most honest.

Richards is the place to purchase all appliances.. the customer service from Tristan is hands down the best that I have experienced when purchasing an AC unit.. because of the treatment that I received, I recommended that specific location to several of my friends and family, for their purchases .. Ive been buying appliances from this PC Richards for more than twenty years. Living in a Brownstone means all sorts of challenges for delivery. Ive always had great service, even on those occasions when a delivery didnt go as planned. Just had an experience ordering a replacement Washer/Dryer stacking unit. My salesman Kamal Khan was as always helpful and smart and wanted the best for me. Did NOT try to upsell or add anything. It wasnt his fault, but there was an issue with the guys making the delivery. A quick call to the Manager, Stephen, and everything was straightened out. No excuses, no being put on hold for 15 minutes. Just GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I seriously wouldnt buy from anywhere else, even if it saved a few bucks.

Great customer service with the sales rep.I ordered a tv online for store pick up, and when i arrived i made the sales rep that best buy was selling the same item for $10 cheaper so the sales rep price matched and gave me a no hassle $10 refund at it all took less than 10 minutes to pick up my tv and go. Our salesperson Kristin greeted us at the door and asked if we needed help. She did so with a smile! It was refreshing. Kristin is knowledgeable of the merchandise and helpful as well as friendly. Ask for her when you walk in to the P.C. Richards Atlantic Ave location.

I was in such a jam the other day. I mean a real jam. The 2 prior days were in the 90’s, and one of the most important air conditioners in the house totally dropped dead. IN THIS HEAT. I called the store with a specific model in mind, but was open to another. I spoke with Alex who was so calm and professional. He said he had the model, he texted the paperwork, I filled it out and paid for it. He told me I would have it in about 3-4 hours, which was extraordinary. Then he texted me back to tell me that he would get it to me even quicker. He was incredibly reassuring because he understood how critical it was to get the ac as quick as possible.Not only that but before the ac got to my home, the driver called me to tell me he was only 10 minutes away and he would help me carry it into my building.Extraordinary service. This is my go to store for appliances as the staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. This time however, I was extra blown away at the professionalism and care I received from the manager Tristan. Most managers just delegate and don’t bother with the customer but not Tristan! He really took his time, listened and used his expertise to help me pick out the perfect TV. Thank you! Of course I’ll be back again.
It took a long time to get help from a salesperson, and it seemed like the objective was commissions, not assistance. I was actually told I had to wait when I tried to ask an associate (who wasnt doing anything) for assistance.

So I don’t normally review but I had to after I stumbled into PC RICHARDS on Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn a few days ago and was greeted by the manager Steve and his crew. He was such a great stand up guy and helped me and my wife find exactly what we needed. His service was over the top! I will be coming into the store way more often. PC Richards ia a respectful company for over 100 years. The store location at Atlantic Ave and Flatbush/4th Ave is always clean well managed employees who are always ready to assist you.
If you need quality products with quality customer service, this is the place to go. And make sure you ask for Tristan he was very helpful, and very knowledgeable. I told him what I needed, and he was able to help me choose the perfect products for my home. He even suggested some Add ons that would enhance the products I was interested in. Awesome customer service, I will definitely be coming to visit again.

DJ is very knowledgable he was very patient he showed me a few refrigerators, gave us choices, was patient with me . Had to call my phone to get the dimensions of our over frigerator gave us information on on big fair price of the refrigerator to see if my dad could afford it. I just love that he was very patient and took his time and didnt mind my many questions about other things that I wasnt buying he would very good so he gets 5 gets a 5 star rating.

Came in for a TV, an employee named George greeted me and asked if I needed any assistance, of course I said I was fine and thought I knew where to look. Turns out I didn’t know where to look and George noticed and pointed me in the right direction and gave me some options for my size and budget. Easy and painless process. George was great and made the whole purchase simple and quick. If I need any more electronics I’ll be sure to go to PC Richard and Son.

I went into this store the other day. I had to return a pair of beats that were working. Once I got there I realized I didn’t have my receipt. I went to a salesman and tried to see if I can still return with no receipt. Nobody wanted to help me unfortunately. The only person that helped me was this young lady named Naomi I believe. She helped me with my return and convinced me to purchase a brand new pair. She even helped me connect it to my phone! Thank you so much Naomi for making my experience better!

After going back and forth on where to buy a new dishwasher, I decided upon PC Richard on Atlantic Ave based on reviews. They did not disappoint. Alexis (Alex) is one of the friendliest, patient, and helpful sales associates I have ever dealt with. He took the time to help me determine which model to go with. When the dishwasher began malfunctioning, he immediately helped order a replacement and had it delivered, no questions asked. Whenever I called, I was able to reach him directly. Great, reliable, and professional customer service.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!I bought a tv from here yesterday and it was the most bizarre experience I’ve ever had anywhere. It was my first time in the store and also my last. I’ll be getting any future appliances and electronics from Best Buy, Target or Amazon like I had previously. This was my attempt to support a local business and it went unappreciated. It’s also one of those occasions where the instant gratification of making a purchase and taking it home the same day instead of waiting for delivery just wasn’t worth it. So I walk into the store and I’m headed to the exact tv model I would like to purchase and the cheesy sales people followed me around the store as if I were the pied piper, asking me the same question “How can we help you?” To which I repeatedly responded “I’m here to purchase a tv”. After informing the woman immediately behind me which model I wanted (because did research on their website prior to coming into the store) she took me to a wall of TVs to try to show me my model and downplay it in order to upswell another model. Laughably my model wasn’t even mounted on the wall. Yet she continued trying to up-sell and I declined. What perturbed me and was the most insulting is that they opened my brand new TV in front of me to “test” it. And the sales woman took photos of it unboxed on her iPhone and was like “Ok, now we’re good.” Are they not capable of handling and maintaining stocked merchandise in mint condition? Or was I just assumed to be a scam artist because I’m a young Black woman who walked into the store dressed in casual clothing and knew exactly what I wanted and was assertive? To add insult to injury, I cannot return the tv because at the bottom of the receipt it says items cannot be returned if they’ve been opened. Yet they (P.C. Richards employees) opened my tv in the store without my permission AFTER I had already paid for it in full —not at open box price or for a discount. What if I found a better deal at a different store on the way home? I still wouldn’t have been able to take the tv back.
Amazing customer experience. From the greet I received from the associative at the cashier, to the salesman who knew every answer I tossed at him and finally Steve the manager who made sure every need was taken care of smoothly and professionally. Looking forward to coming back to this location again! Love my Television and sounds Bose sound bar. Great job PC Richards!
I just wanted to share my experience I recently went to pc Richard and was helped by Steve the manager. He was great so helpful from start to finish. He helped me pick out a gift for my son and daughter :) Him and his staff were great!! I highly recommend going to PC RICHARDS on Atlantic Ave and ask for Steve 🙂

Terrible - at least when it comes to major appliances. Bought a Bosch range from them and they sold us a model that had issues from the box that were known to the manufacturer. Have now had it for two months and it hasnt worked right. Call PC Richards and even thought we bought an 8 year warranty (!) they just pass off to Bosch maintenance/call center and they are also terrible. How can this be? Splurge on a range and get this kind of service. Ridiculous. No help. They also gouged on the delivery charge - $350.

I visited P.C Richards & Son a few weeks ago to purchase a new television. I found my experience there was so welcoming and wonderful. The staff was very warm and inviting and also very knowledgeable about the products. The manger of the store Mr. Harper was really super. He was the one who helped me with my purchased. I felt that with his help. I was able to make the best decision that was suitable for me and my family. I also went back there to purchase my new refrigerator and a new air conditioning. I love this store, its sales staff and its manager. I have recommended several of my family and friend to go visit this store. So far everyone Ive recommended loves it. Go visit. You wont be sorry.
Love love love this store and its people. I will never buy an appliance or TV or anything they sell anywhere else again. They have competent sales people who are also nice and caring. If you buy an appliance, get the extended warranty. Saved me hundreds of dollars. Its a family business. They treat you like family. I have been shopping here since 2003.
I recently moved to downtown Brooklyn and came in to get some new appliances for my apartment. I was assisted by James. His great customer service made my experience very pleasant. He was very patient and took his time and answered each of my questions (I had quite a few). I will definitely recommend this store and they now have a loyal customer.

I rarely write reviews, but felt it necessary to give Garl recognition. He has been such a great help to me and my husband, courteous, sharp, attentive, and efficient. This particular PC Richards is one of my favorite stores, it feels personal and there is always someone to help. But Garl is above and beyond, I assumed he was manager because of how he cared about his work and his customers. I have no doubt he will succeed in whatever he sets his mind to. I was super worried about the purchase of my new washer dryer. I walked into the p.c. Richard on Atlantic the manager James greeted me and made me feel at ease. He even walked me through the process and made my purchase easier than I ever could have imagined. Go see them great team!!!!!

He kept us informed as the supply chain issues caused a long delay and made sure we got our dishwasher installed! The delivery/installation team was wonderful as well! 2022-03-22I went to PC Richard’s to purchase a television. I was impressed with the level of service I received, definitely top- tier. The salesperson who helped me was professional and knowledgeable. Sorry, I forgot his name. And the cashier, Naomi was excellent. She gets a special thanks! I had my 2 year old daughter with me and she decided it was time to act out. Naomi was so patient, professional and reassuring. She was a big help. This store will always be my store of choice for appliances, etc.

George walked me through all the equipment, the services and above all made me feel in control of my purchase for which I am very grateful. The follow up service that George provided was amazing, letting me know when my items would be ready for delivery, dealing with the never ending dramas of dealing with building management!

2022-06-20I am Impressed by the level of help I received today. The customer service was so clear, responsive, and helpful regarding every one of the many questions I asked. I will not hesitate to go to PC Richards on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn before I go anywhere else for an appliance from now on. Generally I do not post comments but I actually asked the salesman how I can acknowledge him to a supervisor.
