I have shopped at this location for many years and I have been completely satisfied with all of my purchases. Sometimes I just like to go in to see if there’s anything I need and finding the latest items. I have nothing but good things to say about the salesmen at this location but Orlando seems to stand out for me. There’s never any pressure to buy anything and he’s extremely knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. Of course whenever I go there, I look for him. I would highly recommend shopping at this particular location.
Ordered two air conditioners. Sean at the UWS store was especially helpful with my order, and arranged for an early delivery and installation. He followed up each step of the way. It made a difference at the beginning of a long hot summer. Great products! Great service!
Orlando is such a delightful young man, courteous, pleasant and just so patient. After a series of bad experiences attempting to purchase a refrigerator with another vendor, I decided to search for a refrigerator at PC Richards. When I arrived at the store, Orlando greeted and showed me several models. He then gave me space to think and browse interrupted. Eventually, I found a model I liked (Beko) and made a purchase.I appreciate the great customer service and attention I received.Thank you!
Such a pleasure to be able to actually shop at a NYC business, in person. Tom and Omar K helped us out. We walked in, bought an AC, they did a price match, easy breezy. Some things are better done in person.
Omar Perez did a great job helping me order a refrigerator, slide in stove and microwave quickly and had it all delivered and installed within 2 days. Omar has continued to be helpful with questions and providing me with after sale information.

What an excellent experience! Seriously I was in and out in less than 20 minutes with the bed of my dreams. And…..they’re delivering it a day early. Used to really like this place, I’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars here. But it’s been twice now I’ve gone in there to try to buy headphones and have spent more than 15 minutes waiting to be helped and never got helped. With the place not busy at all. Whatever, I’ll just be taking my business to Best Buy from now on 🤙🤙

Orlando was extremely professional well knowledgeable about the appliances I was interested in purchasing; furthermore, I never felt an iota of pressure in terms of having to purchase everything immediately.It was a very positive experience shopping at PC Richards and Orlando made simple, easy and relaxing.
Let me begin at the end, service call to change the hinging of a Miele refrigerator door. The job involved a lot of labor. Two guys showed up on time, their work expert and thorough. The installation and delivery was on time and handled with apparent ease and neatness. The purchase experience was pleasant and Mr. Pettigrrew at the Broadway location was pleasant and expert. The while experience was far netter than expected. I do not hesitate to recommend them.

I like P.C. Richards. While there price isnt always competitive they do try hard to render good customer service. I recently priced the same Samsung UHD televisions. Costco offered a far better price and extended warranty.

1 month ago I purchased a friedrich in the wall 12,000btu a/c with the excellent help of Spencer. He was knowledgeable, respectful, personable & very patient. Spencer answered my many questions thoroughly taking all the time I needed. He greatly helped me choose the correct a/c.The supervisor, Carlos was also extremely helpful & immediately satisfactorily solved an issue. Both Spenser & Carlos went above & beyond excellent customer service. My a/c looks great, is easy to use & cools the whole 1-bedroom apartment! Omar P was a complete angel. I have had many ac units purchased @ PC & installed by their 3rd party contractor who knows how to get the job done!!! The AC I just got was purchased elsewhere, a model and make that they dont carry. Two sets of installers from this other company ran screaming from my apt because they couldnt deal with the big windows common to older upper westside buildings. I came in and asked Omar for the contact info for the PC installer. He gave it to me and made my day.

I had the best customer service Ive ever experienced in a retail store from a sales associate named Bryan Owen who works there. He helped me get a great deal for a tv and sound bar for my son. He was kind, patient, superbly efficient and thorough. I cant believe how much time and dedication he put into this one sale. I am grateful to have dealt with such a down to earth professional who actually cares for the average customer. You guys really have a great sales associate on your hands. Too bad Google doesnt allow more than one review for a location. A year ago I posted this was the best location for kitchens.The other day I went into the same location to purchase a laptop computer. I was helped by a very kind and patient salesman named Alex. He checked the availability of the 2 computers in which I was interested. I easily left with my computer and also purchased the Microsoft Home and Student program; it wasnt expensive but to make it even better I purchased it on my PC Richard & Son Credit Card which gave me additional interest free time to pay. Win, win. Thank you Alex.

Brought a general electric portable dryer from this store. Orlando was very helpful in helping me pick out the dryer I wanted and making all the delivery arrangements. While the delivery men were not as courteous as they could have been and left without taking my dryer out of the box, PC Richards sent me Brian the very next day to remove my dryer from the box as well as removing all the boxes and materials out of my apartment. Thanks once again to Orlando and Brian for all your help, you guys deserve a raise!

I ordered AC wall unit which was supposed to be delivered before 2 pm. The AC never came. I called the store and spoke with Bryan. Understandably I was very upset. Bryan was absolutely amazing. Simply awful experience. Middle of a heat wave I went to the store and ordered an a!c. Adrian was my sales rep. I paid for same day delivery and was assured by Adrian it would arrive between 3-7pm. It never arrived. I called the next morning (Friday) and was told the order was somehow cancelled. I was told I would be called back with an update. After waiting 2 hrs and not getting a call back I began calling the store and was shuttled around between people and being put in hold each time until I had to hang up and call back again. I eventually was told that it would be delivered by 8pm. I have zero confidence that they can deliver on time. The worst part is I have a sick relative without ac for the weekend as the handyman is not around to install it because they missed their promised delivery date. Next time I will use Amazon - at least they deliver on time.
I was greeted as soon as a sales rep was free from the previous customer. His name was Malik and he was very knowledgeable and understanding of my needs. He was able to locate the item that I was interested in and patiently explain the benefits of the item. Also David checked me out with accuracy and in a timely matter. My experience was good and I will return to this location for other purchases.

I purchased a google chrome at the Southampton store. When I opened it , the product was gray market, not in English and unable to hook up. The exchange was poorly handled on uws. Pc Richard should have better customer service and better controls on their merchandise.

This is the most incompetent operation I have ever seen.I went down, bought a refrigerator, and scheduled delivery for Thursday. Wednesday, at 8pm, I got a phone message: You didnt answer your phone when we called to confirm, so we have to reschedule the delivery. I looked: yes, I had ONE phone call from an unknown number, and they left NO MESSAGE. Even though I had scheduled the delivery, and they had NO REASON to assume anything had changed, they cancelled it because I didnt answer a phone call.So I called back and rescheduled it for the following Wednesday. Tuesday, I waited for the confirmation phone call, since I had to be SURE I picked up, or theyd cancel again. (BTW, this means you have to be available for TWO days, not just one.) They didnt call to confirm this time at all. So I called them 6:00 Tuesday night.Them: Im sorry. That item is out of stock.Me: Out of stock? You were supposed to deliver it tomorrow.Them: Well, Im sorry, but its out of stock.Me: I PAID for it. Are you telling me that after I bought it, you sold the last one to someone else?Them: Well, I dont think well have another one in for at least ten days.Me: Please refund my money.Them: OK, well give you a refund, no problem.They called me back two hours later: Since you paid with a debit card, you have to come to the store to get a refund.Next day, Im ready to go down and get my refund, and I get another call:If you still want that refrigerator, I can deliver it tomorrow.You told me it was out of stock.By some miracle, I found one.They told me it wasnt in stock. I am never buying anything from these people again. In fact, I just bought a reclining chair through Amazon thatI was INTENDING to get from P.C. Richard. It was here in two days, no problem.I TRY to buy from local brick-and-mortar stores. But stores like this make it impossible.
This PC Richards one of the best bought a washing machine, tv and sound bar within a month and the salesperson David 7233 very nice and his manager Omar (Jamaican accent) is very nice, funny and professional, he tried to sell my husband a mattress when we were just looking for a TV lol ( there are two Omar managers thats the reason for the comment about the accent) so you know which Omar Im referring to, very nice store Ill continue shopping here.

I do not even want to give this place 1 star but I have to in order to post this review. I purchased a very expensive air conditioner from here and I have never experienced such horrible, misogynistic, and disrespectful service in my life. Every associate I spoke with at this store either laughed at me or hung up on me when I needed help, and then when I finally got someone on the phone that would listen I found out they abruptly canceled my order- without even telling me. I dont trust this store, or this company, at all. Buy your appliances somewhere else!
On 8/10/2021, I had purchased the Avanti refrigerator # FF10B3S, which at the time was not in stock, understandably so because of the pandemic. During the duration of waiting for the refrigerator to be restocked and delivered to me, Trifan (Rep# 9098), the sales person, whom handled the sale and/or no other representative made any attempt to reach out to me to update me on my purchase or estimated delivery time. After several attempts to reach out to Trifan and/or the store at 2372 Broadway, NYC, I finally got a delivery date of Tuesday, 11/16/2021. When my refrigerator was delivered, the front ice box door had scratches in numerous places, which the delivery person agreed and I rejected the receipt of the item delivered and requested that it be returned. Since the rejection of the item, not 1 representative reached out to me to excuse the damaged item delivered. I immediately called the store and asked for Trifan in at least 2 occasions and i was informed by the customer service agent that Trifan was with a customer and that he would return my call, which he never did. In addition, I was told that the general manager would call me too which never happened either. Finally, when I returned back to the store to request a refund, I noticed Trifan disingenuously entered the reason for the return as No stock. In actually, the reason for the return was because of what I just described on this posting. I was patient for 3 months for the delivery of my item and clearly till the end Trifan remained unconcerned and unapologetic!

Bought a AC from this location. When I got home it wasnt working. I asked for a replacement and the team was NOT helpful. They asked ME to bring back the AC (heavy) in an uber and that they would send one days later. They KEPT asking me to bring it into the store myself instead of just having their third party pick the item up (they wanted to save money). They did not have a customer first mentality at all. By the way, they have all their shoppers do a 5 star review once you purchase an item so that you can get a discount on your purchase ... So make sure you take all the 5 star ratings on here with a grain of salt :)

I bought a GE window air conditioner 10,000 BTU and was helped by Orlando. He was very patient to explain all the different brands they have so I could choose the right one for me. I had it delivered and intalled and the price was fairly well. The noise level of the unit though is a little loud, but it does cool down a 1 bedroom apartment.
I had a great experience here, they were very helpful. Particularly, Adam was great. He guided me through the entire video game and console industry and made my purchasing decisions much clearer.

I worked with Davy for a while now. Davy helped me with my mattress, washer and dryer, and a couple of AC units. He was always helpful, reliable, and communicative throughout. It’s always a hassle-free experience, and like always we received the best price.First, the mattress, Davy clearly described the pros and cons, so we were able to make an informed decision. Once we decided on the mattress, Davy handled all the logistical matters like communicating with our apartment building, scheduling a time slot, etc.Second, we purchased a Miele washer/dryer. Again, he was very knowledgeable about the specs, quality, etc. Without hesitation, he handled all the logistically matters. We told him we wanted a specific time slot for delivery, and he set everything up for us.Third, a couple of weeks ago, I texted Davy that I needed three ACs. I sent him the measurements, specs, and pictures, and he took care of the rest. He was extremely helpful in expediting the process and scheduling the necessary surveyor and installation. Leslie in sales was very helpful in showing and comparing various dishwashers and air conditioners that would fit my small apartment and had good reliability. A “survey” was scheduled quickly to do exact measurements in my apt and took little time. The installers were efficient, helpful, polite and personable, and the two appliances work well. The visit to the store and the survey were done shortly before the shutdown of all retail stores, so I had to wait for installation until the store opened again, but when they opened, I was contacted and the installation was scheduled quickly. I will definitely be returning to this store when I need additional appliances.
My old fridge died last night (RIP) and I rushed over to PC Richards on the UWS with 20 minutes to go before closing time. Leslie the sales associate was attentive, polite, knowledgeable, and efficient, and set me up with my future refrigerator. Boom. Always friendly sales crew, never pushy, knowledgeable, and they will steer you towards the less expensive models depending on what you need. Thats rare in n retail environment where the sales staff works on commission. Ive been loyal customer there for 15 years. We have been a client of PC Richards in upper westside for over 15 years. Last year, we purchased two items from them, a Miele Dishwasher, and a Samsung Frame TV and we ran into major issues with both items. PC Richards sent their installers to install the dishwasher. Unfortunately, the installation work was done when we were not home. Once we returned to our apartment, we noticed that the Kick Plate, which was part of our custom kitchen cabinetry, was missing from the machine.We called the store and it turned out that the installers not only did not install the kick plate, they actually took it with them and disposed of it in trash. The manager, Mr. Omar asked me to order the kick plate and informed me that PC Richards will pay for it and will come and install it. Now, a year later, after we ordered the piece to be made by the same cabinet maker and four months after submitting the Invoice to Mr. Omar, PC Richards has refused to pay for the piece that they took out of our apartment and discarded.Furthermore, since the dishwasher was installed, we noticed that its door was very heavy and hard to control. The dishwasher was also leaking from its side. We called Miele and they came and serviced the machine and told us that the original installation (that was done by PC Richards) was done incorrectly, and that they had not balanced the door. Now the door is balanced and there is no leak from the machine either.The 2nd Item we purchased from the same store was a Frame Samsung TV. The sales agent at the store, in addition to the TV was trying to sell us an expensive set of wall mounting gear as well as a set of HDMI cables. The sales agent obviously did not know that the Frame TV comes with all that is needed to install it and that this TV does not need HDMI cable at all.I am very disappointed with the level or service that we have received from the store.

Ive had my trusty 46-inch television for many years. It still works fine... but, I decided I deserved a little treat.I called PC Richards Upper Westside store... 8 years ago I bought all my kitchen appliances from them and have been very impressed with their products and wonderful warranty procedures.Why not buy a TV from them?Fortune smiled on me that day when my call was answered by Desmond.I had so many questions, throwing around terminology I wasnt sure I even knew WHAT I was talking about! HDMI ARC ? digital optical cables?Streambar hook-ups???... It would have driven any sane person Ro-ku-coo!!BUT... 2022-05-14The prices are competitive. The available inventory is good. The store displays are clean and plentiful. All big pluses. The issue is the salespeople. Some salespeople are helpful with the shopping experience. However most salespeople and the “managers” do everything to take your money and everything to not give it back. Shop here if you know what you want but be prepared to fight for your life.

2022-07-29I went in to get a new fridge because mine died and had the pleasure of getting Thomas Trifon as my sales representative. As it turned out, I ended up buying not only the stove but a dishwasher which I really needed, a new stove, and a mattress, which I wasn’t thinking about today but knew I really needed to replace it soon. He went above and beyond to show me all my options then get me any discounts that he could, including calling a manager to get the best deal possible. I’m very pleased with my purchases and the service I got from Thomas. I’d recommend him if you want expert help

2022-07-06My experience in P.C. Richards & Son has been very hit and miss. I recently shopped there with David who helped me a lot. He was a wonderful sales person. He listened to what I was looking for, and gave me a lot of good advice. He even went the extra mile and probed about my apartment and gave me a lot of practical advice on steps to take before the team arrives to install. His advice was spot on, even to the point of highlighting where I might need additional power outlet. This was a 5 star experience. The couple of days later I dropped by to check for dishwasher and I got someone else. He was a disaster, didnt even bother listening. Tried to push a specific brand on me but most importantly was very pushy asking me to leave feedback on the website for him. He had his QR code and asked me to scan and kept saying leave feedback now even though I still was looking for appliance. It felt like he needed to show he gets good feedback. This was a 1 star experience. Thats why Im giving 3 stars. Thanks David! You saved the day.
