The office is in a great location, Lonni (probably misspelled) is wonderful although no longer there. I recently had an issue with payment that was quickly resolved by Hadiya. Great customer service.I was really impressed with the oral surgeon and Philly kept me calm.Dr. Moses must be new or just new to me. She is very professional and has a great personality which always helps.Menna is the best hygienist!! I always smile a lot after my cleaning because she does such a great job.Thanks Premier Dental!
I always have a pleasant experience at PDA Dental. All the staff are professional, friendly, and helpful, and I am in and out of my regular check up within less than an hour. The office is also in a great location and close to all major subway lines. Highly recommend!
I have been coming to PDA dental for 5 years for dental and Invisalign and have had a great experience. They are very honest and don’t do unnecessary procedures. Even though I moved farther away I keep coming back because I trust Dr. Ritholtz and his team.
Always kind, clean, nice office, doctors are prepared and the lady who does my cleansing is very good. I never had big problems with my teeth, so I cannot speak for major situations. I just like them all in all, even if I live on the UES I still come here.
8.3.22 - First time back in a while and mainly because I had to keep rescheduling. Thankfully my teeth were in okay shape and the cleaning wasnt as terrible as it could have been. My hygienist, Lin, is awesome, patient, methodical, and communicative. My Doctor, Moses, is professional, laidback, thorough, and practical. Both women were also very funny and easy to be around.The staff from front desk to the assistants and back office were all on point. I definitely recommend this spot especially if your insurance can cover the service.***Original Review *** 10.1.18 - Bi-annual teeth cleaning. The front desk is organized and very scripted, but there is a practical awareness to how they operate. My RHD did a fantastic job of cleaning my teeth and adjusted the sessions to accommodate certain discomforts I have with the process. The post cleaning consultation was concise and smooth. Looking forward to the follow up cleaning next year.

Dr Ritholtz and his staff are AMAZING!! I cant speak highly enough of the office as a whole. They are all super friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I was told by other dentists there is nothing that can fix the spaces in my teeth because of their shape, and he assured me there are options. He set me up with a few months of Invisalign and his colleague bonded a couple of my teeth after. Im so happy with the results and Ive had such a positive experience. I would recommend Dr Ritholtz to anyone.
After reading all the great reviews about Dr. Ritholtz, I decided to treat myself to Invisalign for my birthday, and I’m super excited about my results. Dr. Ritholtz is the best! He explains everything and is very efficient and super knowledgeable. He was always available for questions and made me feel comfortable about the process as I have never had any orthodontic work done before. If you’re thinking about getting Invisalign then I would highly recommend Dr. Ritholtz.
Dr. Steven Ritholtz and his staff was amazing! I had really crooked teeth with lots of crowding. I started my Invisalign treatment with him about 8 months ago. The whole process was pretty smooth. Dr. Steven was very forthcoming and walked me through every step of the process. All in all, I’m extremely happy with the results and would definitely return for future treatments.

Just finished my Invisalign with Dr Ritholtz and so happy with the results, my teeth look great, highly recommend! I grind my teeth anyway so now my retainer also acts as a mouth guard. The entire team was so helpful with all my questions as well.

Editing my previous review: I originally posted about a delay I faced with my appointment soon after the office opened. After going back a few more times for follow up appointments, I can genuinely say that my 1 poor experience was an anomaly. Ive had significant work done at this office, and the process has been transparent, I was as comfortable as possible during the procedures, and any questions I had after my visits were answered by Dr. Steven Ritholtz or his associates in a timely manner. If you are going for a cleaning, or for a more intricate work, I cant imagine there is a better option in New York City than this office. A well deserved 5 starts.
Dr.Moses and the rest of the team at PDA made the “Dentist- Scaries” nonexistent. Everyone was inviting , professional and accommodating to my needs. They are my new Dental Home!

I went in for invisalign treatment with Dr. Steven Ritholtz. The process was smooth, results were excellent. The office staffed worked with me and my insurance to get a good portion of my treatment covered, which was a benefit I didnt know I had. Dr. Ritholtz is great with follow up and was available via email for any questions throughout covid and mailed out trays when office visits werent feasible due to covid.
I have been going to this dental office for about 3 years for my standard 6 month cleanings. The office staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The office is organized and clean - which is important! My most recent experience here was for a bit of a dental emergency, and as a continuing client, I couldnt have been happier with the expediency of seeing a doctor and the outcome. I appreciate greatly that the office was able to see me day-of and everything went very smoothly. Dr. Erwin is not my normal Dr. but she had fantastic bed-side manners, explained everything thoroughly to me, and resolved my dental issue. She was excellent and I was grateful she could see me on a day my Dr. was out. I would highly recommend this dental office. I get regular emails about promotions, closings, and holiday hours. Its so easy to get to, just a block or so from Fulton station in the financial district, and all the staff I have ever interacted with (in person and via phone) are fantastic professionals in their own respective roles.
For the past 2 years my wife has been subjected to a genuinely traumatic experience at Premier Dental.First they cracked her tooth while doing a root canal. The tooth subsequently fell out.They told her she had to get an implant or the next tooth would be compromised. She went ahead but the implant was not properly performed.The crown and screw came out two weeks later, then 6 months later then again 6 months later.Each time she went through agony as Dr. Steven tried for hours to screw it back in. On one occasion they made her go though another surgery but it still came loose.For over a year my wife has tried to speak with management to get a resolution as we have been charged thousands of dollars and the service has not been delivered, in fact it has caused personal anguish and anxiety. To make matters worse, the office manager Marlene refuses to let us speak to anyone higher up at PDA even after explaining the situation, so we unfortunately feel that we have no choice but to write this and other reviews to protect the general public from going through something similar. The Better Business Bureau has also been contacted
My experience with Dr. Ritholtz has been great. All the staff in the office has been a pleasure to work with. Their flexibility in making appointments is great and getting replacement invisalign trays sent directly to me during times of quarantine was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this dentist for regular cleanings and invisalign treatment.
I recommend this dentist to EVERYONE. Ive never had to wait more than 10 minutes, and my most recent appointment during COVID felt very safe. My hygienist was named Gus and he was the absolute best - he explained every part of the COVID-adjusted cleaning in detail to make sure I was comfortable. During the cleaning, he was so friendly, efficient, and clear about every part of the process. I have never felt any pressure to buy expensive products or procedures, which I really appreciate. Cannot recommend this whole practice highly enough!!

Gus provided amazing dental service! I’ve been to many dental appointments, but this was the first time someone really explained in detail what they were doing and provided an overview of the health of my teeth. He also provided great advice for continued dental health, was super friendly and personable, and really showed interest in me as a person. Thank you!
This practice has put my Friend though the following:•She was passed from dentist to dentist as dentists kept leaving the practice•They cracked her tooth while doing a root canal.•A few weeks later half the tooth feel out.•She was given a young dentist named Dr Steven who was fresh out of dental school.•He told her she had to get an implant.•The charged her insurance thousands and then she had to pay 5 thousand out of pocket.•She went through the pain and financial cost of the implant.•And two weeks later it fell out.•The young dentist Dr Steven spent an hour trying to screw it back in with caused a lot of pain and left bruises the next day.•She then had to be cut open so that it could be put back in.•6 moths later it came loose again. Again Dr Steven spent an hour trying to screw it back in while she cried in pain.•She tried to get in touch with management to talk about all the money she was having to pay and that the implant/crown simply wont stay in.•Dr Steven told her the practice had been bought out by a big corporation and that he doublet they would do anything to help.•6 months later the crown came loose again. This time Dr Steven admitted the technology wasnt good and that he would take a digital scan. He spent 45 minutes trying to get a special screw into the implant to take the digital scan, but he couldnt get it in and he gave up.•The whole time, she was in agony and spitting up a lot of blood.•throughout this whole process she has been trying to speak to the management.•3 managers in a row have left the practice and the latest one named Marlene was incredibly rude and refused to give any information about the management company.

I recently switched dentist offices in order to maintain my preferred dentist which is Dr. Erwin. The office is reliable, has early availability which is helpful to have an appointment before work and they are generally on time for the appointments. Dr. Erwin is an extremely knowledgeable, well-mannered, even tempered dentist who always provides the patient with the options she feels is best for the patient. I never feel as though I am being pushed in a direction for the financial benefit of the practice, I genuinely feel she has my best interest in mind when making her professional decisions. Highly recommend.
I am new patient and today I had a great experience with Dr. Lauren and her assistance Phillys. They were professional and attentive as well as Loni the receptionist for her kindness which brings a good image for Dental Associates.
Had such a great experience as a new PDA Dental patient! I was advised to arrive a bit early due to new patient paperwork. I completed it on a tablet which was quick and easy. Every person in the office was polite, patient, thorough and super nice! I was called in at the exact time of my appointment and had the sweetest hygienist who explained everything she was going to do for my cleaning every step of the way. As a very nervous dental patient, I felt at ease and comfortable the entire visit. X-rays were done with the utmost care and Dr. Erwin provided my options with my best interests in mind. She was very knowledgeable and even informed me of new advancements for potential care. Couldn’t recommend this office more!
The team at Premier Dental is great! Ive been a patient for over a year, with Invisalign and general cleaning procedures done here. The main receptionist always checks me in before Ive even come up to her desk, the hygienists (Gus & Meena?) have been professional and not too abrasive on my pearly whites. Dr. Ritzhold is always making sure that Im happy with my invisalign progress. The wait times are very reasonable, as well!

I have a bit of a phobia surrounding dentists and have been putting off scheduling an appointment for a while. This was my first visit to PDADental and it was incredible! Everyone from the front office staff on made me feel welcome and taken care of. In particular, Gus, the hygienist, was AMAZING. He took the time to hear my concerns, address any pressing dental issues, and make the whole experience painless and stress free. I would highly recommend Gus and this practice.
My step-daughter’s experience here has been HORRIBLE and wildly EXPENSIVE.Dentist damaged tooth during root canal treatment then messed up a subsequent implant, causing ongoing pain, and repeat surgeries when the implant failed and fell out.Management refuses to communicate over their terrible service while charging her and her insurance company many thousands of dollars.
Had a very pleasant experience being treated by Dr. Galler for invisalign. I would highly recommend him. He and his staff are very professional and nice. My initial treatment was for 26 weeks but was later condensed to 16 weeks, and now my teethe are much straighter and have a better bite. Having had braces as a kid, I was not looking forward to more orthodontic treatment but Dr. Galler made this second round much more pleasant than I expected.

I had a great experience with Dr. Ritholtz. I’m getting married this year and he really worked with me to make sure I’ll have the best smile possible for my big day! It only took 4 months for my Invisalign treatment! The time really flew by and everyone has noticed the difference.
Dr. Galler and his team were so great throughout my Invisalign process. It only took 7 months and Im thrilled with the results. He had a great bedside manner and an amazing sense of humor. The cost is slightly more than other estimates I received, but totally worth it!

Im very happy with my experience and my results. My teeth are very straight and Im getting the whitening to enhance it. Love the bedside manner and the location and I think it was worth every penny. I think Dr. Gallery may have cost more than other options I saw by a tiny fraction but it was worth it to be comfortable changing my smile and committing to the process and being in and out very quickly. No regrets here and completely happy!

I did the Invisalign treatment with Dr. Galler and it was fantastic! He and Natasha (and the reception staff) made the experience very easy and convenient (payment, scheduling, etc). It was a surprisingly fast and efficient treatment and when it was all finished they helped polish my teeth to a perfection! Dr. Han was another member at the practice who deserves a shout out as well. I could not be happier and it was a worthwhile investment for sure! The office was nice and clean. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The gentleman who cleaned my teeth was very informative, had a light but thorough hand (i.e. no torture!) and warned me whenever he thought he may be getting to a sensitive area on my gums. Thank you! The dentist was also very informative. He took the time to explain several things to me and did not try to pressure me into any excesses dental work. The x-Ray technicians and front desk staff were very friendly as well! I had to switch to this new practice after my long time dentist stopped taking my insurance and I was skeptical but left very pleased. I scheduled an appt there for my husband as well.
Just finished my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Ritholtz. Overall, very smooth process and wrapped up more quickly than I thought it would!
I have never really enjoyed going to the dentist before. However, since switching to Premier Dental Associates, they have made the process a lot less stressful for me. Between being able to take good X-rays for someone who has a bad gag reflex, work and make appointments for me that enable me to take off less time from work, and getting me a permanent crown the day after I had a temp crown put in, that is amazing. A special shout out to my new dentist, Dr. Thorat, and the oral surgeon who took my wisdom teeth out, Dr. Markowitz. Every dollar I paid towards these dentists is worth it!
I had an emergency, a broken tooth, and they took me in the same day. They were professional, polite and Dr. Erwin had a wonderful bedside manner. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable.I left with a temporary tooth that looked real and with no pain. I am grateful that I was referred by a friend. Went to the clinic because of its incredible reviews. Turns out most of them were fake!!! (Trust me)Ask for an Invisalign, I was assigned a different doctor every time of my visit.Its reception is the worst! Whenever you want to ask for a help, they either say no or differ you to someone else.I’m now surprised to see this clinic still exists. Probably it will not in a few month.Say away! Save your money and time!!Update:This practice replied to me say they are doing their best to resolve my issue, which is a complete lie!

Ive been coming to Premier Dental Associates for 7 years while my father has been using them for his dental work for over 10 years. Dr. David Ritholtz and now his son Steven as well as the rest of the staff have done a great job taking care of any issues Ive had with my teeth whether it was pain or cavities or squeezing me in for a last minute emergency which has happened on several occasions. While I usually see Dr. Ritholtz, Ive also had great experiences dealing with several of the other doctors on those rare emergency occasions when they havent been available so no matter who you end up seeing, know that you will be in great hands.
Dr. Steven Ritholtz was wonderful through my entire Invisalign process. He always took the time to explain everything to me, answer all of my questions, and deal with my perfectionist behavior/requests :) He made sure I was satisfied with my results and I’d definitely recommend him to anyone considering Invisalign.

From start to finish, my experience with PDA Dental was exceptional. I initially made the appointment online (via ZocDoc). Not long after, I received a very polite phone call from the offices receptionist, who wanted to confirm that I booked the correct appointment. It turns out, I hadnt! The one Id booked would not have been covered by my insurance, nor would it have been what I actually needed.When I arrived on the morning of my appointment, the check in process was quick and I was in the exam room on time.The best part of my experience, though, was Gus, my dental hygienist. From the beginning, it was clear that he knew what he was doing. I really appreciated how he clearly communicated what he was doing during each part of the cleaning. He took as much time as it took to get my gums cleaned out after several years of missed cleanings. He did such a great job that the doctor even said that he saved me a trip to the periodonist, which would have undoubtedly been expensive and painful. If you do opt to visit PDA, definitely ask if Gus is available.I just went back for a follow up appointment today and received the same level of excellent care. Two thumbs up.
Been searching for a good place to go to, and this might be the one. Had first appt today and everyone from the receptionist to the doc was really friendly and professional. Though it seemed they were pushing a bit for Invisalign treatment, there was no extra pressure, its just something to be mindful of. Otherwise, best gentle cleaning I ever had, all modern equipment, and great office overall.
I had Invisalign treatment with Dr. David Galler. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to straighten their teeth. I never thought my teeth were particularly bad, but it wasnt until after the treatment that I realised how much of a difference the treatment would make. Dr Galler straightened my teeth in 6 months - cutting 4 months off the normal time (for my teeth, everyones time would be different) by making all the new technologies available to me! I would 100% recommend Dr. Galler and his team. They are brilliant!
I went to the office this morning to drop a check for my husbands upcoming dental procedure. I figured while Im there I should make an appointment for myself since I have not seen a dentist in years and to my surprise the lovely receptionist advised she had a cancellation and they would see me right now! From the ladies up front to the XRay tech, Sheri the hygienist and the dentist whose name escapes me at the moment, I had a great experience! My dental future looks bright as I look forward to working with this team! If you ignore your teeth they will go away...#callmesmiley

This review is for Invisalign treatment with Dr. Galler. I started the treatment in September 2015 and cant believe Im finished in 11 months. I thought the experience was going to be rather daunting and very painful, however, it turned out to be a wonderful experience and Im amazed by the results he achieved in such a short period... I can finally smile and show off my teeth :-). Dr. Galler is a warm and friendly person and an expert on Invisalign treatment and Natasha his assistant is very attentive and kind. I actually looked forward to my Invisalign visits with Dr. Galler and Natasha; they were both an absolute pleasure to work with. I can tell you that this was not at all expected, especially since this was not my first rodeo with orthodonture. I got my final set of trays within 11 months, and I only regret that I am unable to post my before and after photos of the wonderful work they did on my teeth!I now have my regular dental cleanings at this office as well- the same level of professionalism and excellence carries on with the other dental hygienists. I cannot recommend them more highly for any dental need.
I really gave this place a chance after a recommendation from a coworker, but I can confidently say that after more than 4 times of going back and forth regarding my filling issues, this place only seems good on the surface, but not the procedures within. After identifying cavities, the dentists informed me that I needed to get fillings done. However, they didnt inform me that they were using a different composite for the fillings on top of my old silver fillings. The issues all came after they were done - could not floss between my teeth, retainers would not fit, and even a filling that just fell out when I did floss. I would not recommend going here, as it was a terrible experience. Treat yourself better on the 9th floor of 150 Broadway - a much better dentist practice who cares about getting it right!
Dr. Galler was amazing in fixing my teeth with Invisalign ... super flexible in scheduling and actually accelerated my schedule because my teeth were getting straighter at a faster pace. Wouldnt use anyone else. Still a new feeling having completely straight teeth after 30 plus years
I was 30 minute late, but still got to see the Dr. Erwin very soon. I wrote on the intake form that I dont want to be called Miss, and everyone respected it and called me by my preferred name. Great dental practice! I had a pain in my tooth and Dr. Steven Ritholitz was able to fix it quickly. He explained to me what was causing the pain and very clearly went through the options with me. He has very good bed (chair?) side manners and he is overall a great dentist. There was no wait in the reception area which is also a plus.

After trying 4 dentists in the city, I have been incredibly happy with Premier Dental. Though the dentist that I started with has since left the practice, I have found subsequent dentists very knowledgable, caring, and thorough. I have been going to Premier for 5-6 yrs and have always had a positive experience with timely service as well as friendly and good hygienists that carefully handle my sensitive teeth.The only reason for the four stars is due to one of the receptionists. She is often short and rude and seems to forget that she is the “front face” of the practice when she answers phone calls and greets patients upon arrival. It is the only unpleasant part of the experience.
Premier is fantastic. My checkups are always quick and easy. Had some tooth sensitivity and got an appointment for the next day. Got to my appointment right on time and was seated within 2 minutes. Hygienists and Doctors are awesome, friendly, and turns out my sensitivity was something that just needed a little more brushing attention. No unnecessary filling, doc gave it to me straight up! Thank you!
I was asked to reschedule my follow-up appointment twice to see the oral surgeon since he was available only certain days. I went in for my appointment, and he wasnt even there; one of the dentists saw me instead and sent me on my way. What was even the point of rescheduling my appointment twice to see the oral surgeon only to see someone else? I felt they really didnt respect my time as a patient.

This place continues failing to be trustworthy. My husband came to this place and the dentist said he needs to replace the whole tooth but the other dentist fixed it Simply without replacing the whole tooth. I still came back to this place for its convenience of the location. During Covid virtual, my dentist told me my crown falling off wasn’t an emergency so I should just use Dent Temp and said it was not a big deal if the glue didn’t work. I come back when the office reopened the dentist says I can’t use this crown anymore because my tooth changed its shape now I have to get a whole new crown. And it’s Covids fault and it will be $950. Then why during the virtual session say it would be alright if the glue didn’t work? Why didn’t they ask me to come in when the office was reopen in June?

Premier Dental Associates of Lower Manhattan is amazing! I started going to them a little over a year ago for Invisalign because Dr. Galler had outstanding reviews online. He more than lived up to them and he made my Invisalign treatment enjoyable and easy and very comprehensive. I just reached the end of that process and what a difference! I am thrilled. Soon after I began Invisalign, I began seeing Dr. Bae for general dentistry. On my first visit with her, she did my teeth cleaning personally. She is wonderful. I recently needed a crown and I could not have had better care. I recommend them to all my friends. The office is warm and welcoming and easy to get to from anywhere in the city. They are very up to date on the newest technologies and practices. The entire staff is friendly and right on top of things. They are the best dental practice I have ever had. Go! You won’t regret it!

I definitely had a great experience with my Invisalign treatment through Dr. Galler. The process was straight forward and streamlined. There were clear steps given at the onset in order to expedite the treatment. The iTero 3D Scanning system they use creates more precise aligners. Other people I know whove used the traditional method of modeling the aligners after molds have had problems during their treatment. The price of the treatment here is a little more expensive, but its worth it if you want to avoid the hassle that you might have to deal with at other places.

Being British may give you the advantage of having a sexy accent but you may still be unfortunate and have horribly shaped teeth.Well, my teeth werent awful but they were British. A friend of mine suggested I check out Dr Gallers practice and go for a consult. So I did. I made an appointment for a free consult and they were generous with giving me an available slot only a week after I called.This consult was for invisalign braces and it truly went so well, I signed up then and there and we got to work.Dr. Galler is an extremely patient, kind, caring and very funny dentist. He walked through the 6 months of my braces and giving my teeth the best and utmost attention. When we were done with the braces, the transformation was so visible and magnificent I got so many compliments from people around me.One of the things I loved about this practice is that because I have such a complicated schedule there were times I wasnt able to make it to an appointment but with enough heads up they were able to squeeze me in when necessary.I definitely and highly recommend Dr. Galler for invisalign. He is a true master in this field.

Dr.Steven also whitened my teeth after the course for Invisalign, and as I’ve been told many times by family and friends, they don’t recognize me now.Dr.Steven has been extremely supportive and encouraging during the whole process. Dr. Galler is amazing! I started the Invisalign program with him 15 months ago and the results of my adventure have been astonishing. My teeth were a disaster when I initially walked into his office. However, after being motivated by Dr. Galler and being disciplined about wearing my retainer on a daily basis my teeth have finally been straightened! He delineated all the steps in my Invisalign program and answered all of my questions. Dr Galler creativily designed my Invisalign program to pull down teeth that were too high in order to level everything. My case had challenges but Dr. Galler patiently worked with me throughout my journey to make sure I was on the right track. My three younger sisters also successfully completed their Invisalign programs and had a phenomenal time working with him. Working with Dr.Galler and his crew has been a pleasure and I hope others have the privilege of meeting them!

I have been going to this dentist for 3 years now. I have had regular cleanings, invisalign, and, just today, a root canal. They truly are an excellent practice. Cleanings/check ups are always quick and professional, invisalign solved my cross bite, and my root canal - well it was only 10 hours ago and I have almost no pain and my tooth sensitivity is entirely gone. Exceptional all around.

When I was younger, I had braces for 4 years! Eventually, I wanted them to be removed so badly and we decided that my teeth were good enough. As an adult, I wanted great teeth and, eventually, I wanted to get my teeth fixed for my wedding.With Dr. Galler and Invisalign, my teeth went from good enough to awesome in mere months. We had a short time frame until my wedding. Dr. Galler planned everything perfectly and got it done for me! Also, as an adult attorney, I did not want embarrassing wires. Invisalign took care of that problem as well. It was quick, easy, painless, and, best of all, nearly invisible!I completely trust Dr. Galler. He was able to straighten my teeth and make other needed recommendations, such as the best whitening options, a great doctor (Dr. Quiong - also at Premier Dental Associates) to fix the shape of the teeth, and payment options to work with my budget. He is always very friendly with a smile on his face - very pleasant to be around. Ive seen Dr. Quiong and Dr. Galler at Premier Dental and I had great experiences with both doctors! What I love about this practice is theyre very efficient. They dont waste any time. I was invited back into an exam room almost immediately after I arrived at the office.Dr. Quiongs cleaning was thorough and quick and she answered any questions I had with patience and without hesitation.Dr. Galler went out of his way to fit me in for an early morning Invisalign consultation. Knowing little to nothing about Invisalign, I walked out of Dr. Gallers office feeling like an expert. He carefully fit my Invisalign trays and then meticulously explained exactly how my treatment would work and the possible outcomes or effects of my choices on how to go about wearing Invisalign. He is very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. I would feel comfortable calling Dr. Galler with a follow-up question and/or making another appointment for any inquiries given his welcoming and helpful attitude.

This is a difficult review to write.I have been a loyal custome of Premier for 7 years.But during the past 4 years, there has been constant turnover in dentists.At first it was amazing. But in 7 years, I have had 3 dentists - the first left after 4 years and the second, after 2 1/2.The hygienist Sherry is the BEST thing about this practice.The firm has also started making crowns in house. Bad decision. Last year, it took them 3 attempts to make a crown correctly. At least they did not charge me for the additional attempts, but it was time consuming and not exactly pain-free.A few months ago a tooth with a crown put on at Premier 7 years ago broke in two-- BTW, probably not their fault. My new dentist at Premier,the owners son, Dr Ritholz, immediately recommended an implant- incorrectly telling me that it was a quick procedure, and that I should immediately see their oral surgeon. Having witnessed both my mom and father-in-law go through the process, I know implants are serious undertakings. Dr Ritholz omitted the parts about bone grafts and the process taking several months, information that should have been provided. A week later, I went for second and third opinions from two other general dentists, each with 20+ years of experience. Both agreed, that implants should be the last resort and given the location of the tooth could be problematic.At this point I am auditioning dentists. I would consider returning to Premier if/when they return their focus back towards general dentistry and less on invisalign. The skill-sets are different.Note: The day after this review first appeared, I received a call from Dr Ritholz who apologized for any misommunication and explained the rationale behind his recommendation. He also encouraged me to return to the practice. That was very classy and much appreciated.

Ive had my Invisalign procedure done here, and now also my regular dental check-ups. Theyre a great, professional office, and all of their staff are courteous and knowledgeable. I had to switch dentists because my insurance changed, I chose Premier because it is close to my office. I had a routine cleaning and exam with Dr. Grassi. She went over my x-rays in depth explaining how flossing can prevent cavities, and which areas she was going to watch for now and why. I really appreciated the time she took with me. I never had a dentist explain things the way she did. It just made sense. I feel good about going to Premier for my dental care, the doctors really seem to have a passion for taking care of patients.

In 2009 I went to Premier with hopes that Invisalign could fix what I had been living with since grade school, weary of the process of old fashion braces. I searched for the best invisalign provider and found that as a premier provider Dr. Galler was one of the best in his field closest to my job. Nine months later I was looking in the mirror at perfectly straight teeth. Fast forward to present day and my teeth are still straight and I am still happy thanks to Dr. Galler and Invisalign. In five years I may need another set of retainers but my real reason for visiting Dr. Galler again will be to outfit my son with Invisalign so his smile can really be like his moms just like everyone says.
I had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr Markowitz - he and his assistant Phyllis did an excellent job with me! I was absolutely terrified going into it, crying, shaking, very nervous. Dr Markowitz calmed me down, he has a very relaxing nature. He answered all of my questions and assured me this would be an easy and quick procedure due to the position of my teeth (all straight and above the gum). I was awake for the extraction, had all 3 of my teeth pulled with just Carbocaine to numb my mouth, and it was a surprisingly quick procedure!! Dr Markowitz talked me through the procedure as well, which I was thankful for, as I am the kind of person who likes to know what’s going on. As soon as I walked into the office I felt so supported, everyone was consistently making sure I was ok. Chris, Lani and Virginia are an extraordinary part of the team, and have been right there to answer all of my questions post-surgery. I’ve been healing up nicely and for that I am so grateful. Special thanks to Dr Thorat who advised me to get the teeth extracted before problems arise.I highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking for top quality dental care in Battery Park/FiDi/Tribeca.

Dr. Steven Ritholtz should be your choice for Invisalign treatment! Looks young but has top level training in Invisalign relative to other general dentists and it shows when he guides you through the process with answers for every question!!! Highly recommend.

Dr Galler and company provided a positive experience from start to finish. He explained everything that was going to happen and how everything was going to work. The Invisalign process with him was not only painless but fun. My only regret is I didnt do it sooner.
The dentists were great at first and we always thought we were visiting a good practice. Until we visited another dentist and found out that all five crowns done at this practice were poorly made, root canal checked was left incomplete and now we are spending a fortune, again, to re-do all the work done by the Dr at this office.After reaching out the owner, Dr Riholtz, he said he stands by his doctors and he believes the crowns are looking great. Maybe he is also a poor dentist then, as all three dentists we checked (insurance, new practice and the new endodontis) confirmed that job was poorly made, with a gap left between crown and tooth, resulting in bacteria, another root canal and a decay teeth on all five Crowns done).My recommendation, after spending over $3,000 at this practice is: STAY AWAY and go find a good doctor yourself.

I looked up on the internet for a dental office close to my office. I needed an urgent appointment because one of my fillings (done somewhere else) had come out! Found Premier Dental next door and Dr. Danzi could accommodate me the very next day. She took a look and said it was a piece of cake and fixed it. She looked at my other teeth and asked if I would like to get that big awkward gap between my front teeth fixed. I said I would be glad to. Immediately she got Dr. Galler to take a look. Dr. Galler said he could rectify it in 6 months using invisalign. Natasha, his assistant took pictures quickly and this was done in 30-40 min. My braces were ready soon and I started wearing them. In 3 months, I started seeing results and now after 6 months, I would say Dr. Galler is Picaso of dentistry. He showed me my earlier picture and the one taken today and I was so happy to see the drastic change!! Id to get my frenum between the teeth cut and they have Dr. Neer who did it in 10 min and I didnt feel a thing. And yeah, I got my wisdom tooth removed too :-) So, they are one stop shop! In 6 months, Im so much better and thanks to the wonderful team at Premier Dental. I would recommend these guys 100%!!Good luck to all you guys at Premier!!
Dr David Galler is very patient and has excellent skills in Invisalign. I wore teeth tray for a year and now I am very satisfied with my teeth.

I had a dental emergency abroad. I hadnt met Dr. Grassi yet but she called me back once I left a message with the after hours message service at the office. She put me at ease, and had me come in first thing when I returned to the states. She was very gentle and comprehensive in her exam and discussion. I was so relieved that she fixed my tooth so quickly. I havent been a patient at Premier long, but I am highly appreciative of their help in this emergency!

For so many years (and many orthodontic opinions later) I thought my smile was unique with my crooked tooth. 8 months later having gone through the Invisalign process and looking back at my pictures I could not have been more wrong. The process was non-evasive to my life and I didnt ever feel embarrassed to be an adult with braces. This change my life, I feel more confident and actually dont mind smiling with my mouth open now (although may have to retrain myself). I needed periodontal work to be performed on me. Dr. Neer is an excellent dentist with a soft touch. There was no pain and I healed quickly. I would definitely recommend PDA to my family and friends.

Dr. Galler is great. He promised me my teeth would look awesome, and they do. He answered my many questions, and made sure I was satisfied with how my teeth ended up after my treatment was finished.

I had oral surgery for an extraction/implant/bone graft. The surgeon was very relaxed and reassuring. The whole procedure was done in under an hour. Price was reasonable too.

I needed to see a periodontist, and based on reviews, decided to go with Dr. Neer Even-Hen at PDA. The reviews were spot-on. The office is immaculate, the staff is friendly, courteous and respectful, and Dr. Neer is a wonderful periodontist. He is smart, explains everything very thoroughly, and skillfully performed my gum grafting procedure. I am very, very satisfied and highly recommend PDA.

Just spent 20 minutes of my life at this office. I am a physician (MD, MPH). The clerical staff were very nice. I did not want x-rays done and was asked to sign a rejection form which I did, but the lady took the form and seemed that she was not too happy about it. Then came the hygienist with her cellphone on the World cup game. She never introduced herself ...WAS SHE PLANNING TO CLEAN MY TEETH WHILE WATCHING THE GAME??? She asked me if I had my x-rays taken, to which I responded that I had signed their refusal form. She left the room without saying a word and soon Dr Malhotra came in stating that I would get more radiation from my phone than from these X-rays----REALLY???!!! I told him, since I am a physician, that he could do a thorough exam without the need of X-rays. Then he asked me how could he diagnose deeper issues without X-rays? Well, I walked out of the office. If the dentist does not know the answer to the above question that he posed, why would I trust him with the care of my teeth???If you will not treat patients without X-rays (which is usually a way to make additional income), then forgo the refusal form and just make it a policy for the office.... YOU ARE WELCOME for the advice.NEVER AGAIN!!!
Sucks to say, but these people will gip you for everything you have in your pocket. I went in for a routine cleaning. They took x-rays and told me I needed a surgery—all good. Until, they put me in a room with a surgeon to further explain the surgery I already understood that I needed. Thats when it went rocky, I was surprised at the end of the visit with an $80 charge for the out-of-network doctor. They never asked me or bothered to try to get a surgeon that was in network to avoid me having to pay out of pocket, Im convinced they just saw it as an opportunity to charge me. It was only after I left the office that I noticed the receipt (that I had to ask for) said that the surgeon was OON and that was the reason for the charge. They also wouldnt have told me that the surgery was going to cost me almost $3,500 out of pocket unless I asked for a breakdown. Horrible experience.
I LOVE Dr. Galler!!! I used to have very massy teeth and some doctors wouldnt even take my case. Dr. Galler treated me with ultimate patience and kindness for 2 years, and now my smile looks great!!!

2022-03-04Yesterday was my 3rd appointment here since November of 2021, so 3 appointments in 5 months. Every one of these appointments I arrived 10-15 minutes early, and every one of these appointments I sat in the waiting room for anywhere from 15-30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time before being called back. No acknoledgement, no apology, no thank you for waiting. Quality of the dental care has been great, but the time management honestly leaves a lot to be desired.

2022-05-24Service was good, but billing was a disaster. They claimed (and still claim on their web site) that they accept my insurance (Blue Cross). Somehow, I still ended up getting a $171 bill from them for a routine cleaning. After going back and forth several times with them it seems theyre not actually in-network for those providers - theyll just make a claim to them, which may or may not meet the insurance companys requirements. In the case of BCBS, theyre considered out of network and bill very high, so Im stuck paying more than I would have paid at an honest dentist even without insurance. Never again.
