I brought my dog to see Dr. LEVITAN after she was recommended to me. I spent over $10,000 there, with several examinations, ultrasound, X-rays, and round of medications. Every time I went back for a recheck, I was charged the entire consultation.Over a year ago, Dr. LEVITAN diagnosed my dog with a tumor. She told me not to worry about it at first. Then four months ago, Dr. LEVITAN said the tumor grew more significant, but that it was inoperable, once again. I tried to get a second appointment after the last one, but couldn’t get an appointment, until eight weeks later. Which I then decided to change veterinarian at this point.Every time I would try to schedule an appointment or a recheck, I would have to wait about six weeks, which is totally ridiculous when you have a special needs & sick dog.Fast forward to changing from DR. LEVITAN to a new veterinarian, where other ultrasounds were performed. The new veterinarian told me the tumor had to come out RIGHT AWAY. I then got a consultation with a board-certified surgeon that assured me it was operable.DR. LEVITAN could have cost me my dog’s life. I spent over $10,000 there. If you love your dog, RUN FAR AWAY FROM PEACE LOVE PETS!
I had been curious to try Peace Love Pets as I had wanted to find a new veterinarian for our new dog and two cats. We had a dog emergency yesterday (Saturday) and I decided to call and see if we could get in... they took us within a few hours. We thought the office was cool, clean and welcoming. The receptionist was very sweet, the vet assistant was very kind and caring and we were very happy with Dr. Bailey. Our dog was well cared for and loved and she is already feeling better. We are happy that we have finally found a veterinarians office that we look forward to having a long relationship with for our menagerie of pets.
Peace Love Pets entire staff is both professional and caring. They have treated my dogs for both minor and serious health issues. At all times my Golden Retrievers received the best possible care! Ive always felt that I could ask questions and they have taken the time to be sure I understood what the treatment plans were for each of my dogs issues. I highly recommend this practice if you are looking for exceptional veterinary care for your animals.
Quoted ridiculously high estimate of $1600-2500 for tooth extraction AFTER billing me $570 for pre surgical exam. DO NOT GO HERE!

Dr Diane Levitan and her staff are amazing and have gone above and beyond any expectations in the treatment of our pet (and us) on numerous occasions.Our family understands the difficulty in finding someone you can trust and respect in the treatment of your furry family. We would not recommend someone without merit.You should choose Peace Love Pets - you will not be disappointed and your pet will be in the best of hands.
Dr. Baillie is an amazing veterinarian!Every visit we’ve ever had, she just connects completely with our two dogs and us. She sits on the floor initially with them, putting us all at complete ease. She has a great overall calmness about her, and we fully trust her judgement and recommendations. We highly recommend her and Peace Love Pets.
Peace Love Pets is true to there name. Dr Eyler was so compassionate when I had to put my cat down. And the following month I brought my cat Coco in she had to get surgery. Dr Elyer put me at ease walked through it. The staff is caring as well. I would recommend them and never take my pets anywhere else.
This office has gone through a huge change.It went corporate!Worst thing Dr Levitan could have done!Had a parking lot visit that really didn’t go so well with one of the male veterinarians. Dr Lobasso. His name isn’t even listed on the website!He made no eye contact with me. It was very uncomfortable speaking with him concerning my pets health issue.The vets assistants and helpers are all very kind and caring!I dont see why the office can’t “open up “ now for inside visits. I am not happy about not being able to go inside with my pet for the examination ! The world is opening up now with covid rules!Please allow us to come inside with our pets.
I recommend Peace, Love, Pets to anyone who cares about their pets like they are their own children. The staff from the office help to the vets are professional, caring, & friendly. I never feel rushed when I have my animals seen for an exam or a specific problem...they take their time to explain everything to me & I never leave there having any questions. I will always remember how sympathetic the entire staff was when we had to put my 18 year old cat to sleep. They made my kids a paw print from a mold to remember our beloved Stormy. They also sent us a condolence card which really moved me. I have seen every doctor at the office and one is better than the next.
Dr. Cummins has been taking care of our dogs for over 10 years. We are so happy with the care he has provided to our 3 dogs.The entire staff at Peace Love Pets has always been so friendly, caring and empathetic right from the very first visit for a new puppy to the very sad ending of our dogs life.They are wonderful people, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for great care for their furry family member.
I have been taking my dog Sadie to Peace Love Pets for approximately 1 year, having left a corporate owned chain where I didnt feel they had her best interest at heart. Peace Love Pets is that small business where you feel they are totally interested in your dogs well being, without a separate agenda. I have been extremely pleased with the treatment Sadie has received at Peace Love Pets. Dr. Cummins is a very caring doctor who I have total confidence in.
Went in on a Sunday, no appointment, with my sick cat. Turned out she had an abscess from a bite wound and needed anesthesia, surgery, and antibiotics. I figured it would would cost about a mortgage payment after hearing that. The bill was actually MUCH smaller than I thought it would be.Team there was great...everyone was very nice and seemed happy to be there. Doctor was excellent. Everything was explained well and done quickly.Would definitely bring my animals there again without hesitation...
I bring my dog to Peace Love Pets for general care and recently brought him in for neutering and they did an outstanding job. Prior to the surgery, I received emails reminding me of my appointment and providing pre-surgical information. After surgery, they followed up with a call to see how he was doing and answered all of my questions. Post-care instructions were clear and they even printed them out on a take home sheet. The doctors are caring and truly love what they do. The staff is friendly and helpful. I also find the reception desk folks to be patient and accommodating. After some bad experiences elsewhere, I can highly recommend Peace Love Pets.
LOVE this practice! Dr Terry Eylers is extremely knowledge and treats me and my cat with utmost respect, compassion, and professionalism (and my cat is vicious at the vet). After the first visit I even received a follow up phone call checking up on my cat, which I thought was very generous. Peace Love Pets lives up to its name!
The doctors and staff at Peace Love Pets are amazing. My dog weighs almost 70 lbs and the doctors and techs get down on the floor to treat him. Hes not the least bit afraid of going to the vet because they make it a positive experience for him.
I rescued my dog, Abbey 13 months ago. I picked Peace Love Pets as our first vet visit on a recommendation of a neighbor. We are thrilled we listened! The staff loves Abbey and treats her as well as I do! Abbey had to go through heart worm treatment and needed to spend an overnight. I was devistated, but could not believe the care we both got! Doctors called me to explain everything and be sure I was OK...and Abbey...boy did she get great care! They even took pics of her to share with me! I cannot say enough about the care, professionalism and overall experience whenever we are there. They dont push unnecessary treatments and medications and treat each pet as if it was theirs. I cannot recommend them enough!
We have been going to this practice for about two years- we brought our French bulldog- who had been in 4 other homes/shelters. He had some issues- but most serious was his heart problem. The staff and vets at Peace, Love Pets- were kind, informative and knew exactly how to handle this problem. We lost our dog last week- but the time he had- thanks to these wonderful people was great, He led a active happy life. They gave him the quality of life he should have had. I cannot thank them enough. I would recommend them to everyone-

This practice should be the poster child for Veterinary clinics everywhere. The staff is so professional,, personable and efficient. The vet I use, Dr. Kevin Cummins, is superb. He has a wonderful way with the animals (and their owners) and a depth of knowledge that gives the very best care possible. He is willing to refer a client if he feels it is in the best interest of the pet with no hesitation. He listens to and answers questions patiently and clearly. I cant say enough good things about him.
This veterinary office is fantastic! Every doctor shows such affection for the animals and spends a lot of time with the animal being examined. After the examination, the animals family is given an in depth report of any findings or concerns. I love how the doctors dont make one feel rushed. They also follow up the next day to make sure our pet is doing well. I cant recommend this office enough!!
The staff at PLP are wonderful and friendly. Starting with the ladies at the front desk, they are very welcoming and on the phone do their best to get an appt for you at your convenience.Dr. Cummins is very professional and very caring and thorough with my pets. He literally gets down to my dogs level! I feel very comfortable and trust the whole staff with my pets.
While we are new to the practice, we are not new to Dr. Cummins who has been caring for my pets for over 15 years. He is the most compassionate person and it is obvious he is in this field because of his love for animals. My animals are my children and he has been there as family would from the good to the bad. The other doctors at Peace Love Pets must have that same compassion or he would not be practicing there. I have already referred friends to them and would highly recommend them! The office gives you a feeling of home. A Five Star Practice without a doubt!
We had just adopted a rescue dog who injured his paw when he ran away from foster. We brought him to peace love pets and they took great care of him. Dr. Eylers and the staff could not be nicer. They are Peanuts vet now. Highly recommended.
The medical staff has made every effort to solve a difficult medical problem with our cat. They have been professional in all suggestions and treatment. They follow up and make knowledgeable suggestions on how to best continue. The office staff is friendly and welcoming to both me and my cat. I trust their judgement and would recommend them.
When my vet moved to Atlanta and a big name company took over I no longer felt attention and compassion were a focus.We found Peace Love and Pets and they quickly zoned in on our aging Golden Retriever Pumpkin (13 yr old) and helped us to have her around for almost a full year with many age related ailments.She was happy and comfortable and Dr Levitan and Dr Bailey treated not only our precious pup but also our family.They became part of our family and helped us through a trying time with a real concern and compassion.Now an extended part of our family they share with us our love for our newest family member Peaches. Dont bring your pet here. I had made an appt for my pet dog waited over 2 weeks. When i got there they first couldnt find me in computer then was put on hold forever. Then she comes back and says there is no appt in the computer. Waited all this time to bring my dog. Dont go there very unreliable and unprofessional. Stated nothing they can do. Take your pet somewhere else.....
What a great place to get the best care for your pets. Dr. Diane Levitan and her staff are outstanding. Dr. Levitans professional experience is priceless. And the way she cares for your pet, is as if it were her own. Professional, trustworthy, caring, and skilled... they even have a sonogram machine on the premises. I feel lucky to know she is there for my pets needs.
We’ve been coming to Peace Love Pets since the day I adopted my dog - it’s been 8 years and I love the whole team (especially Dr. Glaser.) Excellent care, great follow up and reasonably priced compared to other veterinarians of this quality on Long Island. I no longer live in the area, but I still remain a loyal client-the drive is worth it!
As a physician I have the ability to speak with patients and develop a sense of what the problem is and establish a treatment plan. Vets do not have this and must make diagnoses without the critical information supplied by the patient. I like peace love and pets for several reasons. First they are vet internists with competence in their field , second they have specialized equipment that others do not possess such as ultrasound and finally they are all very caring to the pets and the owners. I say that for the entire staff. I travel almost 18 miles to bring my dog there.
Anyone that knows me - knows I am quite detail oriented and would only make recommendations where appropriate. Today was my first visit to see Dr. Levitan for an ongoing problem my dog has had since I adopted her in Sept. 2018. I have spent MANY hours and MANY dollars between SEVERAL offices trying to get my dog the help she needs and sadly - we are still fighting this battle. When I did a search online for a place to try next, I was lucky to find Peace Love Pets because of all the rave reviews.... it was a chance worth taking. Well, today I feel a large sense of relief that my dog will be able to thrive soon because of the care Dr. Levitan and her staff has shown for her well-being. If you are at your wits end with vets offices that mistreat you or your pet in anyway, I strongly urge you to go see Dr. Levitan and her very understanding and professional staff at Peace Love Pets. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done for me already and today was only our first visit. We have some follow-ups to do, but for the first time in 8 months, I am hopeful and confident my dogs condition will finally be taken care of properly and the days of guessing will be over. I am so happy I found my way to this practice. We love all the doctors and the staff. Dr Levitan diagnosed my senior Collie girl with bladder cancer and provided months of caring support for hospice care and when the time came, she was there for us and we felt very supported and surrounded by compassion and kindness as we helped Chloe over the Rainbow Bridge. Dr. Eylers has been providing routine well care for my Collie boys on Sundays which is so convenient, we greatly appreciate that this practice has full hours on Saturdays and Sundays. Dr. Glaser diagnosed my boy with pancreatitis right before the holidays and took great care of him (and me when I fell apart!) and all the follow up calls from both Dr. Glaser and the staff meant a lot to us. I have had only positive experiences and only wonderful things to say about the doctors and the support staff.
Dr Levitan saved my dogs life when she diagnosed her with adisons disease when all other vets couldn’t find a reason for my dogs declining health. It wasn’t until she collapsed that Dr. Levitan was brought in to the emergency room. We got four extra years with our beloved Pet. Sad to say it is now time to make the decision to put her down due to a massive mass in her stomach. Dr. Levitan couldn’t be more concerned about my feelings at this time. She held my hand ,cried with me ,called me after hours during her own home time and helped guide me to the right decision for me and my pet. I would recommend this office highly.
Dr. Bailey has been an incredible help with my shih tzu, Miss Lucy and her allergies. She is always very friendly, professional and respectful of our time.The vet techs have always been very friendly as well.I highly recommend Peace Love Pets.

When my cat was in pain and my regular vet said they were getting ready to go home as it was close to 6:30 p.m. I called peace love pets and they told me to bring him right in. They took a sonogram and immediately told me he had urinary crystals. Gave me an antibiotic in case he also had a urinary tract infection and some pain pills. I had to make him drink water which I did by adding it to his canned food. I had all of his records transferred from his previous vet and peace love pets has been his vet ever since. I also recommended them to my son and daughter in law and they have also transferred their 2 cats records and love the care their senior cats get now. They are open 7 days a week which is wonderful and all the vets are very loving and caring as are the front end staff and the techs.
Just love Peace Love pets, adopted a shelter dog who had so many health issues, all I can say is the entire staff and Drs are so wonderful and I would highly recommend them to all. Thank you so much Jolene is showing a return to good health. Bless you all!

I must admit that this practice has been the most caring, the most accommodating, most professional - just overall wonderful! We brought my baby to peace love pets we needed to get an X-ray to rule out hip dysplasia. We were so concerned and so nervous. Dr Eylers and her staff made us feel so comfortable they were supportive and understanding about how neurotic I was. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was using Dr Levitan for years with no issues but it appears this place no longer puts the animals over money. Twice now Ive called for different reasons and have examined money is tight and asked if the vet services can be billed and twice I was told that is not an option and told to find another place that could do that. It is sad when a vet starts to put money before the animals that make thier practice. Now my dog is limping and because I just had a baby and havent been back to work yet I need to find a new vet that will see my dog and also extend the simple courtesy of billing me for the service. I am ashamed I ever suggested this practice to friends and family.
Dr Levitan and her staff are caring and professional. We have been patients since 2007. Our first dog had several medical issues and Dr Levitan was knowledgeable re how to handle our pets problems. I am so grateful that we found her. After adopting our current dog she was diagnosed with a mild kidney condition. Dr Levitan is treating her and we feel confident that it will be kept under control. The practice is concerned, very helpful and goes out of their way to provide a positive experience.
Beautiful, clean and warm feeling the minute you walk in. then the girls working there are so friendly....minimal waiting time....Leo showed a small heart murmur at 2 yrs old...so I wanted my former doctor of over 10 years opinion......there is no one else I would trust except Dr cummins...so we drove 1/2 hr to his new work place and was pleasanty suprised with every aspect of the place.....this is our new veterinary practice.....
After more than 30 years of using a different veterinarian, I felt I needed a change. My dog sitter, a vet tech, recommended Dr Cummins. Obviously initially apprehensive, I felt at ease my first visit. Dr Cummins is intelligent, caring,compassionate and patient. He is up to date on all the latest research , current veterinary techniques and will gladly discuss these with me. I am extremely happy with my choice of Dr Cummins as my new vet, entrusting him with the health and care of my two new puppies.
Dr.Levitan is awesome! My dog has a heart issue and needed dental work, I was very nervous. Dr.Levitan answered all my questions and she was very gentle with my dog. He came through the procedure fine. Dr.Levitan made sure he had pain meds for home and followed up the following day with a phone call checking on him. I am very happy with how my dog was treated at her hospital.
Dr. Diane Levitan is a caring, knowledgeable and thorough veterinarian. Her expertise is evident in her treatment of a sick animal. I am so grateful that she is treating my dog and obviously has a tremendous love for pets.I highly recommend her and appreciate her compassion on all levels.
If you are looking for a great veterinary practice, Peace Love Pets should be first on your list. The veterinarians are not only some of the best on Long Island, they also have a wonderful, caring staff. Even though PLP is more than an hour away from my home, I still come to PLP with my four golden retrievers because I know they and I will be well taken care of.
We couldnt find a better veterinary group if we tried; their expertise and kindness is extraordinary. They were the first to accurately diagnose and treat our 14 year old dog with Cushings disease and diabetes insipidus and they were sincerely compassionate and nonjudgmental in helping us to make the decision to put her down. Now Peace Love Pets provides excellent veterinary care to our healthy puppy. This group is a true asset to the Commack and East Northport communities.
I would - and have- highly recommend Peace Love Pets to all animal lovers. They are extremely knowledgeable and are open to trying out of the box approaches to treat a beloved pet when all else has failed. 4 years ago I brought my 10 year old Lab in for a consultation for hyperbaric treatment for partial paralysis. He had been to a neurologist who gave a grim prognosis for IVDD with a ruptured disk in a spot which would be dangerous for surgery, so he was a non candidate. We tried traditional medications and non traditional and were finally recommended to see Dr Levitan. She immediately came into the room and sat on the floor with my dog to examine him. She recommended hyperbaric treatment. He went from not being able to lift his head and not being able to support his rear to being able to trot and wag his tail again after 2 weeks of treatment. These are the only vets that have the vision to look at other forms of cutting edge treatment on Long Island. All of the vets and techs care for their patients as if they were their own pets. I’m so glad I found them.
Dr. Levitan & Dr. Eylers have treated my dogs and are TERRIFIC. They treat their patients as if they were their own pets. The office staff and techs are GREAT as well. I do not know the other vets but I am sure they are as loving and caring as well.
We have been using Dr Kevin Cummings for 25 years for all of our pets. Everyone who answers the phone to schedule appointments or checking in and out, as well as the technicians are outstanding. If you do not live local it is worth the trip, your pets deserves the best!!
Dr. Cummins is wonderful. He is thorough with his check ups and takes the time to answer any questions that you have. We couldn’t imagine having any other vet care for our dog!

After months on an antibiotic that wasnt working, Dr. Diane Levitan took one look and listen to my cats congestion and knew exactly what she needed. At that moment she became my vet. I travel over an hour to get to her, and I never mind the trip. Loaded with warmth, humor and humanity, Levitan has an almost supernatural ability to intuit what our voiceless pets are feeling. They cant tell us whats wrong, but she can. And, in a world where doctors are forever rushed, she takes her time. I am aware, whenever I travel to Peace Love Pets, that I might be there for a while - not because I am kept waiting (which I never am), but because the staff is thorough and caring. I have worked with other vets in the practice and they are all caring and compassionate with animals. The reception staff is receptive, which is so rare these days. Together, these people form a net underneath me and my family when we are there. We feel safe and cared for. And where finances are concerned, PLP always works with me so that I dont have to skimp in my animals care. The practice is in the unlikeliest place - sandwiched in a strip mall in Jericho Tpke, but dont be fooled by the commonplace exterior: there are amazing things happening inside this unpretentious storefront.
Dr. Cummins has been Rosie’s vet since she was rescued over 16 years ago. He has provided her with the best care and has always taken the time to answer any questions we have about her (no matter how silly they may be). Rosie is at the end of her time here on earth,. With Dr Cummins kind and loving care, we will be sending Rosie to the other side of the rainbow shortly. She has had a great life and has given me and my family unconditional love in every sense of the word. I am grateful that Dr Cummins has been her vet and provided her with all the care she needed through the years. Thankfully, we have two more dogs that still require his care.

I love these guys. My dog Tika was hit by a truck and my vet at the time wasnt available. I ended up bringing her to Peace Love Pets and I will never go to another vet. They took great care of my little girl and Im so grateful to all the staff that helped her recuperate.

I love this vet! Its such a happy place for me and my dog. I found this place because my doctor left the place I was going to and he knew my dog! I had switched docs for my Chihuahua Olive because her blood work showed abnormal liver results. Dr. Levitan is a board certified internal medicine vet & I needed a doctor who was certain about what the right treatment was going to be. You cant get better care elsewhere. Dr. Levitan & Dr. Eylers are very, very caring. If you are concerned about your furry family member and are looking for a comprehensive assessment, I strongly recommend Dr. Levitan - shes amazing. I find that they dont do unnecessary testing - which is a big deal.
Have been coming here over the years with various dogs of mine. Always able to fit us in for an appointment, staff is wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable. I think the recommendations can get expensive, but I do trust their care of my furbabies.
The people behind the desk were kind and courteous. The place was nicely decorated and warm. They handled my Chloe with care. They took my appointment on time. And her sonogram was done very quickly. I was quite happy with the prices as well. I highly recommend this place
Dr Cummins is 5 stars, we saw him most recently bec Dr levitan was away. He was very informative and knowledgeable. The girl at the desk was nice, but when she said the total was over $670, I questioned it. While reviewing the charges, her colleague advised her that shed overcharged me $200. So once again, great doctors, unfortunate support staff. (Initial visit review: Dr. Levitan is 5 stars. Staff was much less than friendly to us on our first visit. We considered not returning, until we met the doctor. She was so helpful and informative, that weve decided to keep coming here. Apparently no one told her about our appointment, so we waited over an hour (past our appointment time) to see her. She apologized, but Im not sure why her support staff didnt advise her properly. In addition, a couple of vet assistants were rude to us in passing.)
This is the a kind group of people that has the best interest for your pet above and beyond. From the ladies at the front desk to the Vet Techs all are caring.After trying many different Vets, I came to Dr. Levitan, she resolved my Whetons skin issues. A miracle! Highly recommend this group.
Went here for a Guinea pig issue. Unfortunately, they dont treat guinea pigs. Tiffany went out of her way to make phone calls and find a vet that takes care of Guinea pigs. I can’t say enough praise to describe how Kevin Cummings, and the incredible team at Peace Love And Pets treated my Kangal Dog. My dog takes a lot to sedate and can be extremely dangerous. Almost two hours to safely sedate him, just to get him to the point of working on him. 4 Vet Tech’s and 2 Veternarians worked so smoothly together. I was there! First hand I can say what you would wish for your pets, is exactly what happens in the back room. Everyone gets along and helps each other. I couldn’t be happier seeing the compassion and empathy towards Gunther. Kevin Cummings has been my family Verernarian for well over twenty years, he’s my blessing. There are no words for the way I feel about everyone there.
I have been to over 8 vets to try to cure my cat Sophie including 2 feline specialists. I have been giving such different advice and wrong disgionosis. These vets never got to the bottom of Sophie’s problem. Dr leviton finially came up with answers and cures of Sophie’s liver disease. She did this and is extremely intelligent and caring Doctor. I would highly recommend her. If I could giver her ten stars she would have it
The staff at Peace, Love, Pets are wonderful. From the doctors and techs to the girls at the desk, everyone cares for my dogs like they were their own! And my pups dont mind being there one bit!
The vet is supposed to be great at what she does; however, if it was not for LIV in Syosset our puppy would be dead. They botched a surgery, tried to cover their tracks, lied and lied again. We are out over 10k from their mistakes. People be aware that this is not the place to bring your pets. You have been warned!!
Simply put, Peace Love, Pets offers the gold standard in Veterinary care. Throughout her illness my cat Bella has seen Drs. Levitan, Baillie and Eylers and though it is a difficult process I take comfort in the absolute fact that she could not be in better or more caring hands. I always have a wonderful experience when I need to take my pet in for a visit. The staff is friendly and Dr. Cummins is wonderful. He takes excellent care of my pet. I trust him implicitly.
I love this place everyone who works there are so loving and caring. Especially Terry. She treats us so well not to say the others dnt but my dogs love her dearly. Best vet ever and I been to more than one and when I found this one I have stayed.
My husband and I took our 3.5 lb teacup yorkie to see Dr. Levitan for a potential liver biopsy. We were very nervous and upset about the upcoming procedure but after meeting with Dr. Levitan and her staff I was put to ease. She explained everything to us, answered all our questions (and there were many) let us stay in the room while she gave our baby a sonogram and never made us feel rushed. They were thorough, caring and knowledgable. We went in scared and left feeling relieved and completely confident in the care that Isabella received.
I cant say enough about Peace Love pets!! Dr. Levitan saved my dogs life a few yrs back. It was the morning after a really bad snow storm and everything was closed. I went to the vet across the street and no one was there. I saw the sign to peace love pets and went there and Dr. Levitan was just walking in. She immediately said bring your dog in and started evaluating brooklyn. Without her and her expertise and how quickly she went work on her I truly believe I wouldnt have brooklyn here with me today. I cant thank her enough.
There are not enough stars or even words that could come close to sharing our wonderful experience or expressing my family’s gratitude towards Dr Leviton. At a time when we were frantic and thinking that our beloved dog Honey couldn’t possibly survive, not only did Dr Leviton comfort us, but true to her word she got Honey into the hyperbaric chamber( A miracle machine!!!) and well enough to return home, just as she said she would do! After a very frightening and discouraging experience at a previous hospital, and in between our panic at the thought of losing Honey, there were so many incredibly kind and medically amazing, way above and beyond things that Dr. Levitan did for Honey and for our family that it would be impossible to put into one review...If there was an option for a hundred stars for a review on Dr Leviton, Peace Love Pets, and the amazing team there, I would give them two hundred!

This was the 2nd time I have come to Peace Love Pets but the first time meeting Dr.Terry Eylers. She was absolutely wonderful the way she handled our cat Ally and very informative as to.her condition.
Dr. Eyler was extremely attentive to my senior cat. She followed up with me the next day. We got Olivia on the prescription she needed. I heard from both the office and Dr. Eyler as a followed up to the meds and asking how Olivia was progressing. I am extremely happy with the care and kindness that I have experienced from this practice. I will continue to bring Olivia her for any future needs. 👍🏻🙏🏻😻😽

Hah i cant believe anybody would write such false reviews Dr. Diane Levitan is one of the most sympathetic person i know, all the staff are really incredible and nice. Michele the receptionist is excellent and awesome as well as Joanne another receptionist, so dont believe any of that bullcrap those 1 star people are feeding you. There are currently 2 doctors Dr. Kristen Anderson and Dr. Diane Levitan whom i hold my highest respect to. Sure every once in an eon one of them gets irritated but if you were to put yourself in their shoes you probably would be stressed out too or in a psych ward right now . All in all the entire staff is compassionate, understanding, as well as friendly and i guarantee you that you will not find a better veterinarian clinic with such experience and state of the art advanced equipment.

Fit us in quickly for evaluation on a sunday when my dog had an swollen eye. The vet even called the next am to check up on him. So far they have been very accomodating and charasmatic.
This vet is great . I had a 17 year old Pomeranian and he was having alot of issues. And they got me in that same day . And they handle your animals like they actually care about animals . I would recommend them to anyone

Sheba was getting the pancreatitis again . I picked up on her symptoms early and brought her in. Dr. Bailey saw Sheba, was most thorough in her examination. Tests were taken that proved Shebas diagnosis. Dr. Bailey advised me about Sheba having a bland diet and prescribed meds for her. I appreciated that Dr. Bailey explained Shebas issues and was easy to talk to. Ive reported that Shebas now recovered.
I came in without an appointment and they took care of my cat within 15 minutes. Their service was both professional and compassionate. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

When we first brought our dog Baron to Peace,Love,Pets a vet hospital in commack,ny.... we had little hope of saving his right leg.He had been through a year of surgeries,radiation burn,the aftermath of 13 brachia radiation treatments.DR.Levitan and her staff were faced with a huge,open wound.DR.Levitan proceeded with a course of hyperbaric treatments and TLC.(oxygen therapy delivered in a chamber,only a handful of these chambers in the entire country)He received 3 treatments a week and each time the wound was debrided of any necrotic tissue.Then a dressing was applied and his leg rebandaged.Baron was on antibiotics for months and cultures were taken periodically.It was a painstaking course of treatment requiring METICULOUS CARE and SKILL........WE could see that DR.Levitan was determined to save our dogs leg.DR.Anderson and the entire staff were as happy as we were when the wound was finally closed. PEACE,LOVE,PETS has a staff that is totally caring and devoted to helping our 4-legged friends and lives up to its name in every way.I FEEL LIKE THE LUCKIEST GUY TO KNOW ABOUT THESE PEOPLE....ITS TIME FOR ME TO SHARE THIS LUCK WITH ALL OF YOU BECAUSE I CANT KEEP MY SECRET ANY LONGER.THANK YOU ...YOURE THE BEST. Tried to take our dog here for something and they blew us off because oh well too close to closing time...yeah they really care about peoples pets...they said try going to the place across the street, which had the worst reviews of ANYPLACE around...even nearby towns..unfortunately we had to go there and were ripped off....oh yeah Peace and love and all the positive reviews is laughable ..I wouldnt go there if my dog was dying.
Lets see I dont know where to begin. Bottom line, all they do is run up the bill behind your back. Brought my dog in for an upset stomach and walked out with a $800 bill. Really!! Disgusted.

2021-11-23We started with Dr. Baillie at Peace Love Pets years ago after a negative experience with the vet who took over after previous vet retired. I cant say enough good things about all of the doctors and staff that have cared for our 2 dogs, Luke and Sophie. They are all caring, responsive and professional. We recently had to put one of our dogs to sleep and everyone there was so supportive and compassionate throughout her last weeks. We have total confidence in them and their care of our furry family members. We highly recommend them.

2022-06-13I thought taking my little Jimi Hendrix to a place with Peace and Love in their name was too good to be true, but they are different here. They made me feel a lot better about my current situation and Im happy theyre so close to home. I ended up in the hospital the next day with the same issue as my dog and I wish they could care for me too. Ill be relaxing with Jim in the meantime, see ya soon.

2022-05-12They only care about money not about there pets. They over charge and do not take medical emergencies seriously. They had me go to ER with my pet because they were closing in a half hour. my pet has been going to them for over 10 years. For approx 2-3 years this office has gone down hill. The receptionist and assistants are very nice but the doctors and the way they force you to come in just so they can charge you more. Manager Danielle was not helpful at all and they do not return calls and when they do they lie and say they said something different then they did and ofcourse require a visit even if your pet was in less then 6 months prior.Very disappointed in them, will be changing vets. You also can not post on the facebook page anything negative review because they do not approve it to be posted, they only want people to see the positive not the negative. Perhaps if you did you can learn from this and better your customer service to loyal and timely patients.

2022-04-21Dr. Eylers and her team spent an enormous amount of time assessing my cats illness. They treated Diesel with caring and respect. They handled him so gently during his crisis and gave explicit directions for his care at home. Hes doing great and I have Dr. Eylers and her associates to thank.

2018-07-10Peace Love & Pets has been our Veterinary Care choice for over Five years. Dr. Jennifer Baillie has been my dogs Veterinarian for those five years as she is very knowledgeable & passionate & treats my dog Brownie like it was her own. Recently I had my 10 year old Puggle neutered and Dr Ballie & her associate Gina could not have done a better job. They put me at ease as they explained the entire process to me & they gave me a phone call after the procedure was finished to let me know that Brownie was recovering & doing well. Before I took him home both Gina & Dr. Baillie sat with me to explain the medicine & the symptoms to look for after surgery. I would not trust anyone else with my little pride & joy then Dr. Baillie & the entire Peace Love & Pets family.

2021-11-02Established both my dog and my cat with them after our move from Maine. Nothing but a positive experience so far, and in my opinion they’ve done a great job adapting their system to curbside! The techs are compassionate, professional and kind, and the vets themselves are knowledgeable and have shown to have our pets best interest in mind.

2019-05-04Dr. Levitan has been caring for Jive since he was a pup. The office is incredibly responsive, and they always follow up with a phone call after a visit to make sure everything is alright. They love animals, and it shows.

2021-01-07We have an 11yr old Black Lab mix who is everything to our family. We recently moved here and Peace, Love Pets is a new Vet for us. We never realized how much better pet care can be and the effect it could make on our dear boy. Its amazing their attention to detail and how many things our old Vet just never addressed. Our dogs behavior is more active and less itchy since going. Hes definitely a happy pup and so are we :)
