The spaces are typically very clean. The waiting areas for parents or guests are pretty spacious with limited seating and tables. They also have two computers on each floor you can use for free and a printer if you forgot your dance resume (small fee for printing). They sell water, yogurts, fruits and have vending machines with more options for drinks and snacks. The staff being hired has become increasingly friendly over the years. Most of the rooms have windows for ventilation; all studios come equipped with fans and an AC unit (AC units are not accessible in the winter, fall and sometimes spring months). Super helpful with advanced bookings as well as same day bookings.
Very excited audition, rehearsal, practice space filled with like-minded individuals auditioning and practicing their craft. Their rooms arent too expensive if youre looking for a practice room. Sometimes it can get crowded if there are a lot of auditions in one day, but everyone is there trying to book the next job and do what they love. I implore anyone who visits this place to enter with openness and support for everyone there.
This place is so neat! I had a couple of voice lessons here and this is a really beautiful place. The staff is really friendly and everything is very organized. I rented a space from them to practice for my voice lesson and it was great.
Great big place, plenty of room, convenient midtown location. Only issue is that I think they should have a rug on hallway. Kids have to walk around fast with their tap shoes and its dangerous and slippery the way it is.

Cool space. I saw Hugh Jackman rehearsing! Its def different than Cali where people have their own studios... where here and other places around NY have big buildings with floors of rehearsing studios. Different change for me! People are friendly here and helpful. Cant wait to have the opportunity to rent out one of the many studios for my own rehearsal! 😆💚👏
Came here for an event. Nice sized place for maybe 20 people comfortably to workout 😊
Great location and I thoroughly enjoyed the class. I took Intro to Salsa with Silvio. Class was fun and his instructions were very good even for a beginner with two left feat. Most of all I had fun and did not feel intimidated.
Beautiful studios close to Broadway sights
Clean and very well-maintained. The staff is always helpful. Also, excellent location if youre coming from out of town on the train3 blocks from Penn Station. Do notice there are 2 locations on opposite sides of 8th Ave.
Great studio spaces, clean and updated, customer service is top notch with amiable personnel. And great classes of all sorts are offer day to day. My favorite, Piel Canela for social and latin dances.
Area very spacious. Lot of studios but my opinion is I wish they could have made it where spectators had a chance to view practice. But I guess it has to do with privacy.
The room that we used was clean. We had to set up around chairs where we are sitting. It was very hot in there and they open the windows but the fan didnt work and the air conditioner.
Its a place that you would not believe the respect an the rooms are amazing you can have parties events dance classs what a place that you would not want to go any where else but here i wish i can give it a 1,ooooooook but they would have gotten it from patricia vestal
Took a Beyonce dance class there and the studio is pretty good. They have multiple rooms on various floors so it offers more classes than usual from my experience at other studios. Studios were clean and pretty spacious...dance away!
Im planning on spending a lot more time here. It is extremely easy to find, but I walked past it twice. Such is life. There is a coffee bar on each floor. The place is very busy all the time.
A friend of mine had an event at this studio, I have to say it was amazing there were dancers everywhere. The best part of it all was to find out that history was rought in that studio. so awesome!!!!!
Nice space. Lots of classes and workshop. Just hate that you have to give in your ID every single day.
Studios are nice. Variety of room sizes. I take dance classes here and I love the space. They fit a lot of people.
Fabulous tour. 2 very talented broadway musicians taught the group of 25 or so middle school chorus girls an entire song from the Broadway musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in 2 part harmony in about 30 mins. Doesnt get much more personal than that. Highlight of the bus school field trip.
Great place! Clean, organized, friendly staff. Overall great easy atmosphere especially for nervous first time auditioners.

2019-03-25This Broadway workshop was a great experience - the students had a great time working with the professionals and the in depth analysis of the performances opened up my students eyes to the show they saw even more, making it a more meaningful experience. Parents had a blast with it, too. Great experience for school groups.

2022-08-14The security desk was very professional when directing you to your meeting location. As I a arrived in the studios upstairs the staff was extra nice and very courteous. The studios space was very well kept, with clean floors and plenty of seating in the waiting areas in the hallways.

2022-02-26Update February 26, 2022Bathrooms have been upgraded and are gender neutral. Some minor upgrades in the rooms noticeable. Pearl is back!____________Many rooms for your needs. Staff is very responsive. Bathrooms are clean. Free wifi is a bonus.

2020-02-28Its an amazing dance school. I am a person who has never danced before but even for me it was exciting. The instructors are amazing, with their experience, they make it so easy. The dance is broken down into such easy steps. The studio is amazing with good acoustics.

2020-02-18Not too expensive space to rent room there. We did for self tape last min once and were in city needing space last min. However this place needs a VERY big overhaul. VERY congested VERY warm throughout year. Can barely move in hallways with all of the classes happening with all these places that rent space there for their stuff for dance and acting and singing and auditions. Elevators barely move. It’s like one big fire hazard at both locations.

2019-01-13Love this place. Clean. Organized. The people running the front desk are friendly and helpful. I believe most rooms have mirrors, chairs and pianos, but its all laid out on their websites. Pearl Studios is not just a place to go to for auditions, people rent it out weekly for classes, rehearsals and various projects. It takes up several floors of the building its housed in. We took the express elevator up to the 12th floor because we forgot we were on the 3rd floor. 😆 No big deal. Make sure to bring identification for the guard downstairs. Pictured here is the screen that Pearl has showing whos in what room. Very organized. Love it.

2019-11-25Nice studio space, very clean, restrooms and changing rooms on each floor. There is also a front desk on every floor to assist you. Monitors on each floor to display the classroom numbers. The only negative is the stairwell doesnt lead to the lobby so when trying to exit the building it takes a while to get out because you have to wait on the elevators.

2019-04-13I love it here, so many options and styles of dance you can do and a lot of great instructors. If you get the monthly unlimited and you have time, you get a lot out of it. The only thing that I would day is a con, is that some classes get crowded and it can and will get hot really quick. During the summer the AC doesnt really help that much.
