Because it beats a zero and you do have opportunities but its hard and the work you do and I drive and its like I just make enough to get by I just wish the pain would increase for the jobs you do because minimum wage is not good it would so at a job that you do you definitely should get way more than what youre getting paid for like shoveling snow for $10.40 an hour after taxes its like $9 an hour thats terrible for the hard work you do they need to pay you way more than minimum wage for the love of the job she do their far away some jobs as an hour and 5 minutes away and they want to pay a little bit more than minimum wage and its not really worth it put all them hours in and you travel an hour one way its not right and then if you like me you drive you got to drive other people and then you got to drive him all the way back home especially after 12 a.m. in the morning theres no buses and you drop these people off at lot of time theres women its just aint worth it mileage on your vehicle we pay you travel time like $35 that should be just enough for one way you go up an hour and up an hour back it should be $60 its not worth it in the long run I feel like a slave when I get paid minimum wage and drive an hour one way and have to drive people just not enough you barely making it

I have hired many staffing companies and have never been treated with such disrespect. Theyre after your money after they have you they treat you terrible. Never coming back here again
As the manager of this location it’s sad to see that 2 and 4 days ago we had several hurtful and untrue posts about this location and it’s staff all on the same day and all with the same feedback 7 of them, we work hard and take care of hundreds of people, there have been instances where we have purchased single parents groceries, given money for transportation, purchased clothes, adoped families for christmas, donated money for workers who lost everything in a fire, if you want people that truly care stop in and see us, you will NOT be disappointed it’s sad that the actions of 1 person who would create false reviews so that others wouldn’t give us the opportunity to find work and provide is just plain sad
Ive been working with albany for many years alot of staff has changed this is yet the best team to help work.there is one who only remind you its been years. But over all great place to work
Very shady people. Will not pay you and come up with every excuse in the book. Better off going to a staffing agency that appreciates and respects their employees.
Waste of time and money. These people who work at the office need to learn how to treat people especially when your paying for their services. Will be going elsewhere
They were polite and if they have anything they will put you to work and they will provide you with some of the necessary tools needed to do the job

Nicole from Albany branch very rude and unprofessional on the telephone did not provide information about job just stated jobs are available explained I live in Schenectady dont want to waste gas or time coming to Albany for nothing she hung up on me I called back she said now theres no jobs never had this problem with maria

2021-09-27GOD BLESS HIS HEART their hearts both Mr Chris the Manager & Mr T Mitchell I was left stranded in the town of Ticondroga where I had no cellphone service,but thank GOD I was near a Walmart where they allow me to call my company PeopleReady & Mr Thomas Mitchell was kind enough to drive all the way out their to pick me up & take me back to the company where my vehicle was park & I made it home safe hes a Great guy

2019-11-05People ready may not be the ideal place to work but by any means necessary.....When I walked in to people ready albany branch Jaimie immediately asked what she could do to help although she already looked super busy. She walked me through the application process step by step until I was up and running even when the app was not working on my phone she went above and beyond to fix it. I was already skeptical about working there but she made it super easy. I really appreciate everything she did because I was able to work the same day and it was a blessing! I will always reccomend the Albany branch because of her. Thank you Jaimie Covert!

2019-05-22Husband drove to vermont from johnstown for work and uppon arrival nobody would give straight answer on where to go or what to do. After calling they gave him a number to call which we got no call back. Sat there for 2 hours talked to three different people at the branch and nobody relayed the problem to anyone. Tons of confusion due to being very disorganized. Drove 4 hours round trip and sat for two then they tried to blame him saying he was a liar and never there. All he had to prove he was.was a video he sent me on snap chat like he does everytime he gets to work so i know hes there safe. He sent proof of all 12 phone calls to people ready and the onsite supervisor text message. They said he was fired because they needed someone to blame and said he wasnt getting paid. He mentioned how hes had nothing but praise at the job sites he goes to and hes a decorated disabled army veteran whos worked for people ready for 5 years(texas branch) they said his service doesnt matter and that the proof he sent in doesnt matter since he couodnt find the supervisor hes fired. They treat people very poorly. So sad that theres companies out there like this. Recommend going anywhere but here

2019-11-05I have to say I dont understand any of the negative reviews everytime I go to the albany branch I am always taken care of. They always make sure I have the things I need to work and they will help find you a way to get there if needed. The process is made simple and after application they can have you ready to work same day! Talk to Jaimie.
