Always a pleasure to shop here for my pets. The sales associates are so on point and theyre there...
Petco in other cities:
This location needs proper management. There is no adult in the room. Even well-meaning employees are destined to fail with the poor management.Personal feelings about Petco aside - this is the worst location Ive been to in NYC. Somehow this shop always seems understaffed, mismanaged, boxes of product scattered throughout the store, employees will bounce you back and forth to someone else until you demand assistance. The fish tanks always look unclean and uncared for. More than half of the aquatic plants being sold are dead or brown and dying. If this store wasnt around the corner from me I would avoid all together.
Ive ordered items online 2x there out of stock I call several times to the Broadway Store and each time no one answers phone and I’ve been there 3x times in person to see if they’ve restocked but lots of shelves are Empty. And if you ask Questions they don’t know Anything like when will you get a Delivery! 😡it’s a year later and still can’t someone on the phone to ask a simple and quick question it’s unbelievable!!!
One of my go to Petco locations on the west side for availability and variety of products. The main level has a fresh food corner, pet tag engraving, toys and snacks. There are quite a few pets on display and for sale such as parakeets, hamsters, fish and others.Upper level holds more food for cats & dogs and a grooming station.I have had good shopping experiences here over the years.
As is the case with so many businesses, many of their shelves are empty. This isnt Petcos fault at all. COVID has caused many problems with supply chains and items not making it in trucks from the west coast to the east coast and vice versa. Hopefully this will pass, unfortunately it wont pass fast enough.
Everything and everyone is fantastic here!!!! Travis is the best! The cat food is cheaper than the supermarket. They dont have many little furries, but the store does sell a variety of fish. Also, I highly recommend to sign up for the Petco Pals Rewards... You receive $5 for every $100 you spend. Not to mention, the employees have FANTASTIC customer service skills. Petco knew what they were doing during the hiring process. The only negative thing I can say is that there arent enough staff on the second floor to offer assistance. Otherwise, my shopping experiences have always been a pleasure!
Excellent customer service from Alex, the Assistant Store Manager at this UWS Petco. I was having trouble with an online pick-up order and Alex went above and beyond to help me and get exactly what my cats needed and he did so with kindness and professionalism. Thank you for a great experience!
I was running out of time, needed to find a Delta approved original Sherpa flight bag for my dog, Browne, so he could travel to Amsterdam with a friend. Lo and behold, there were only two, not a selection at all. I quickly scooped up one, and paid for it, and scooted home. The next day, my doggie Browne made it to Amsterdam in his brand new Delta approved Sherpa bag! Thank God for Petco!
I would never visit, or recommend this petco… as a matter of fact, any petco! The experience is horrible no matter which petco you visit. This one happens to be the worst of them all. They think every person walking in through their door is uptight and entitled like the upper west side residents… the community they serve. I too have to deal with them… but, to treat everyone horrible because you’re fed up with the community is wrong. From the time I got checked in at the vet upstairs it was nothing but “system issues” some how my information wasn’t on their system although I was receiving confirmation txts about my appointment. They tried selling and forcing the shots they wanted to force… of course, the ones that they know people would opt-out from. I swallowed the bullet and agreed… to then. Be turned away by the vet, asking me to go back to the receptionist so that they can “correct my profile”. Waste of time, commute, and energy. Last Visit all 3 shots were $74… this year they wanted $131 for 2/3 without providing me a breakdown of cost and services. Not a good way to do business if you’re just writing up an order, slamming services in and not explaining the cost before the shots are administered. FYI petco… I walked out. Thanks for demonstrating why it’s important to support local small businesses. I took my behind and wagged my tail at the Local animal clinic in my neighborhood of inwood. Please don’t bring your retail garbage nowhere near this neighborhood.
Very friendly to me and my cat. Though I was worried about the strong grip of vet when dealing with him. It was for both their safety and it was not causing him any pains. Maybe I just dont like the sounds of my kid crying for any reason... but other than being cat dad hovering the entire process visit and environment are 4 stars for me.
Short on staff, short on inventory and often long lines to checkout. The manager wants to help but I think this store probably just isnt given enough resources to keep it running properly. Tropical fish are constantly Under Observation for sickness so choices are slim. Other pet treats are frequently out of stock. Even the rewards program is difficult to redeem. For a big chain I would have hoped they were run more efficiently.
The cashier was very nice and helpful with signing me up for rewards. You will wait around in the store for help for a long time. You have to go to the counter to ask for them to send someone to help you. When help arrives they really dont know much to be of help. They are busy running in and out of the store taking breaks and flirting with each other. Simple things arent in stock. Call before going to make sure they even have what you need before making a wasted trip.
It was almost like no one wanted to ring anybody up! My last 3 visits were like this. Petco hires people who dont want to be there working and it shows. I saw ONE gal who was helpful, excited to be there and professional. The others (cashiers) were talking amongst themselves & joking around while LOOKING at the people on line.
Not recommend to this PetCo store at all. I had a good experience from other PetCo store for Vetco. If you want to take your dog to come here to give annual shots, I wouldn’t recommend.Vetco staffs are not professional and provide the correct heartwarming pill. From my experience from other store of Vetco, they will check you in and weight your dog first and then start processing the shots. However, this Vetco didn’t the procedures and gave me wrong medicines. Not only this issue, but also didn’t provide the “shots records” for yourself to keep it. The staff laid on the desk told me you dog records “will send via email.” I have been waiting for 3 hours after I took my puppy to here, vetco never sent me any email. From my experiences, as soon as you finish your appointment, Vetco will print your records for your shots for you. Never Come to this store for annual shots anymore.
Its OK. Not a lot of variety. The store also needs more staff on the floor. Its a hit or miss with customer service. The last time I was there (a couple of weeks ago) a wonderful young lady helped us. She was very thorough. This time , a week ago, I was literally left waiting on the floor by two people who said they would come back. Yes, they could have forgotten to come back but the reality is that I wasnt too far from the first one and she saw me. She engaged a new customer for a very long time even though I was specifically waiting for her and by her. The second gentleman said he would be right back and I waited and waited and waited until I proceeded to just buy what I had in hand because I couldnt wait anymore...and guess where he was? At the cash register! He was not intending on coming back thats for sure. I understand the staff is young but administration should be doing a better job with customer service.
We have a bathroom only for employees. Give me a break. Im not dangerous...if you clean up after yourselves, can u trust Ill clean up after myself? Yes, discriminate who can use the toilet!! Otherwise, they were pretty low in quantity of fish - might want to call b4 going to make sure they have what you want...and ask how many so you dont get disappointed when you get there with a real bait and switch scenario. Only speak to person in department and get name.
Petco is surviving.. theyve still here on the uws when many other pet stores closed. They have great staff here. Gabby in particular is super helpful and has a great energy. With zero pressure she patiently went thru the various options with me to help me find the perfect solution for my aquarium...She is also worth 5 stars
I am taking my time to write this review because of my horrible experience with training at this Petco. My dog trainer was Crystal. I absolutely hated the experience and every week just got worse. I did the small group class for 6 weeks and was partnered with another owner and her dog; which were nice. However, Crystal could care less about my dog and barely dedicated time to me and my dog during our session. The first reason, I consider her to be very unprofessional. On one day I believe the second day of session she straight up told me that my dog was off in front of the other dog owner and shoppers surrounding us. Excuse me? What kind of professional dog trainer are you? Very offended.Secondly, on the 4th week she realized my dog was a poodle, because I corrected her she thought it was another breed. Again, what kind of professional dog trainer are you by first judging my dog saying hes off and not knowing what breed is coming into your training class.Along with that, she would always have these comments like were going to go slow with him, and to be honest my dog is very smart. Every week he was able to learn a new trick easily at home. The only thing was that as a poodle some of his traits (that if Crystal was really a professional will know that) he is a shy breed when it comes to new people and needs time to get comfortable in the environment that he is in. Not every dog is the same, and mines has to get comfortable first in the new environment he is in before his shyness fades away with strangers. The other dog in the class was not shy (completely different breed) and was always jumping on her happy etc. Cool.In addition to that, Crystal would show favoritism. Even on the last day of class out of the hour of training that we had she only spent 10 minutes with me probably even less to be completely honest and the rest of the time she dedicated the other dog and the owner. I could hear them yelling cheering the other dog at the other side of the store while I was left alone for the rest of the time. Im telling you very unsatisfied and unhappy with the training service I received from Crystal. For me to feel like this, if I wouldve known I would have definitely saved my $149 and just watched YouTube videos because it wouldve given me the same results of being left alone and spending more time helping to train the other dog.To add to all of that, on the last day she gave a bag of treats to the other owner and her dog and not to me. How nice. Again, favoritism much?Crystal disregarded my dog many times; lack of care and offended me various times and I honestly let it go because I refuse to argue with people who lack knowledge.A LOT of people have asked me about the training and honestly not recommending this Petco AT ALL as long as she is the trainer, I will refer them elsewhere. I am sure there are good trainers elsewhere and in other Petcos that will have actual professional trainers and would not make you feel the way I felt.Overall, DO NOT waste your money with Crystals training there are a lot of better, respectful, caring, knowledgeable, and professional dog trainers out there.
I shop online then pickup at this location. The online orders are located in lockers stationed in the vestibule of the store.Luckily, I arrived just as another customer was picking up her order so I didnt need to go into the store for assistance. It was quick, easy, and painless.
5/6/21 P.M.😳 OMG the female cashier she was so awesome I’m soooooo mad that I didn’t get her name. Really cool and helpful. I think I might need to over feed my dog so I can go back!😅 but nah she was really sweet. Wish I could walk in to and business and have someone her kinda to handle everything.
Giving it 3 stars for now. 1st experience with them wasnt to good. I made an online order for a store pick up and 3 hours went by and still no email of when to pick up my items. I called them and was told it would be ready in 15 min. I go 45 min later and 10 min after I got there was when they were getting things together and thats only because i was at the place. Idk.. I will be shopping at the 86th st. store.
I purchased 2 Syrian hamsters from this location on Christmas Eve. The associate who sold me the hamsters was quite nice but after doing my own research, I found these hamsters should NOT be housed together after a certain age. This was not told to me. I also purchased a cage suggested by the associate which I also later found was entirely too small for one Syrian hamster let alone two of them. After 2 days of watching the hamsters I noticed one was not doing well at all. It was not breathing well, it was sneezing, not eating and lethargic. I called Petco and let them know what was happening and they advised me to bring the hamster in. The little guy passed away while I was on the phone and I brought it back to the location. The very next day I noticed the same behavior in the second hamster and immediately brought it to the location. A small animal associate helped me out, advised that the hamster had wet tail. While she was nice I dont feel she was honest about Petco not having issues with ill animals. I myself saw a budgie with an injured foot just sitting at the bottom of its enclosure with no associate noticing the issue. Both of these hamsters were unwell at the time of purchase. Outside of using the recommended cage by Petco - the hamsters were cared for in a manner to limit excess stress. They were kept alone for at least 24 hours after being placed in the cage and they still both were ill with one dying after 2 days.I was never called back with a status for the second hamster I brought in after leaving all my information. I was only reimbursed for the purchase of the hamsters, but absolutely zero follow-up as well as refusal to acknowledge fault in selling ill animals is a serious problem here. It sucks to have to tell your child that their hamsters are sick and probably not coming back, especially during the holidays.
Staff is friendly, but they don’t have a great system for online pick up, and especially ordering/shopping at the store. We arrived early Saturday to three people ahead of us in line. It was 40minutes before they got to us and it took another 25min to go inside to pay. The people ahead of us walked out with two boxes of litter, someone else had one bag of dog food and we ourselves bought one bag of cat food. No one had a giant order I have no idea what took so long. By now we are accustomed to waiting in line and waiting our turn, of course, and want to be patient and thankful to the workers and stores for being open, but seems like there could be a better system for them to process and move the line quicker. Also frustrating is that the employees shop for you, but if they get the wrong thing and bag it for you (which happened for us last week) and the food is wrong, then they won’t exchange it..even though it’s their employees who picked and bagged the wrong food :/ so check your bag before you leave to be sure! And expect to be in line at least an hour.
Its like walking into a Funeral Pallor, this store feels deadone one shows interest to help, poor Live Fish selectionno live fish foodThe rocks didnt have prices and they want to charge me over $20.00 for a piece,no decent selection of collars or Harness for large dogs
Nice staff (just wish they had more to help customers but I get it with high labor costs). Very convenient for pet shopping. Bought a chinchilla I for the kids and they have everything for it. The customer service rep convinced to get her instead of 2 guinea pigs which was the best advice. So much easier to take care of. Very happy with this place
This was my first time there I did not find the dog food call Hope cream or purpose I was sent there by Phil Asian and they didnt even have the product one person try to help me the place is very annoying because there was a person working upstairs with the pets and she didnt even want to help me look for the dog food she had a very nasty attitude I wouldnt recommend that this pack place to nobody almost got rid of my pet behind this but I love my dog too much
Staff is friendly, store is clean and orderly, and pets are in healthy condition. I knocked off a star because the waiting they make you do in the checkout is pretty unreasonable and they sometimes dont have their regular items in stock. Its still my go-to location on the way home to work though.
I love Petco! The employees are so sweet! They treat the animals so nicely! I love getting my dogs groomed here! They are professionals and know what they’re doing! They know your vision for your dog and give them lots of love! I recommend this place for getting your pet groomed and getting them treats for a reasonable price!
I like this Petco just not some of the employees. I’ll just be honest I feel like because I’m black I didn’t get treated the same as the rest of the customers. I came to get my dog shots with the vet. New puppy. They didn’t weigh her like they did the other dogs. I told them her information they got it wrong. Second visit my dog was suppose to get a booster shot. I was told to come back between two and four weeks. I came back two weeks later waited hours in line. Only for them to not have me checked in after I was told I was. Than to be told I had to come back in two weeks because they said I had to wait four weeks when my dog records clearly stated two to four weeks. I don’t live close by had pay for a cab and lunch because the wait was just that long. You can forget about me returning.
The selection is okay but not much for rabbits. They also sold me a dog cage, convincing me it would work for my rabbit but its not the right fit at all. I tried calling multiple times to see if I could return it but of course, no one answers the phones. As someone whos recently been in an accident its annoying to have to come in just to ask a question. I recommend going to a small business pet shop instead.
This place is Iffy !! They hardly ever have anything they advertise in their website , they say they open at 9 am but here I am at 9 am standing outside in the cold rain . The groomer came out and is only allowing people in for grooming mind you the store should be open as it is already 9am , he didn’t even allow me to stand In the lobby area of the store . I had to stand outside in the rain till the store associates decided to open after 9am
I used to come here all the time but recently some of the price increases have been out of this world. Instead of being able to price match with their website, a lot of their products are only significantly cheaper if you order on repeat delivery. As someone who has their dog on a rotational diet, this is not something that helps me. And the staff keeps changing too, it disappoints me when I walk in with my dog and he no longer seems to know anyone there.
Purchased Acana dry food on 9/26/2020 at this store. Came back to home and checked the expiration date, it was July 2020, means they sell old product. I can not believe. The stock person did not know how to organize their stock. I dont want to get the old food for $77.90, expensive food.
Not a bad Petco at all. The aquatics livestock choices are kind of slim and run-of-the-mill and it can often take a long time to get fish. But that isnt the fault of the employees so much as just the place being understaffed (a common issue at Petcos). The staff seem pretty friendly at this one and besides not having a lot of fish variety, they have a good selection of everything else. Every time Ive need something for my cats or my fish, theyve had what I was looking for.
Great sales and even better customer service! Friendly, helpful and patient staff! Thank you, Laura, Shana and Owein for going above and beyond to graciously answer questions, help me save money and then carry my heavy purchases to my car, even past closing time on a Saturday night! Im a long-time customer of Petcos main competitor, but I will definitely be back.
Petco needs input from good pet owners. I have pet rabbits and the majority of the items they carry are harmful to rabbits. Pellet mixes full of seeds and colorful garbage. Yogurt treats!! No rabbit should ever eat yogurt. Those starter cages are like small prisons. The one item I went in for on this visit was out of stock.
This is the only pet store in my neighborhood so I come here often. However there is always a long wait on the line due to a lack of cashiers. And the prices on the shelf don’t always reflect the price at the register. But it’s my go to spot for many years. I think I’ve been going here since they opened. I moved into the neighborhood in 1997.
This national chain had most of what one would expect in a Petco, to include vaccination clinics and grooming services, but probably a little less of it. The store tends to favor dogs (this is Manhattan, after all), but you can easily find cat and small animal supplies... Just dont expect a huge selection. They have a very small aquarium section with a decent selection of beginner tropical fish, most suitable for smaller aquariums. Process are a bit on the high side, but they will match competitors listed prices, so come prepared. Its a convenient place to pick up supplies that cant wait a few days for shipping. All else, its better to hot a mom and pop specially store.
This is for the Vetco clinic... the vet wouldn’t shut up and kept trying to chat with everyone, making it take 20 minutes for someone to get a bordatella vaccine. Was there for 1.5 hours and there was 5 dogs in front of me. They were supposed to start vaccinating at 2:30, didn’t show up until 2:45 and started vaccinating people slower than molasses. Will never go there again. Go to 86th or Union Square if you don’t want to waste an entire afternoon.
The only thing that bothers me well actually 2 is you order online they have it..then you get ..your order is ready for pick up and some of the things are not available. Secondly today I went for a pickup and ask this guy who was straightening the leashes who can assist with my pickup..he acted like I annoyed him and bothering him and pointed to the front. Nope not with the amount of money I have spent. Uh uh terrible customer service!
I am giving a one star because the person who was suppose to assist me was rude , kept me waiting for a very long time while he pranced around doing nonsense then he had a new person help me saying you have to learn sometime the poor guy was asking him for help and he gave him a net and rude verbal instruction.this guy with the blond man bun needs customer service training . the rest of the staff was extremely nice but it just takes one to make everyone else look bad .m
Groomery is the best addition for the Upper West Side community and their pets. Very friendly and helpful staff. Reason pricing for grooming. They are good with the pets who come in for grooming and I especially happy with the Self-Wash. It is an inexpensive way to keep your pet clean in-between grooming visit. A+ for PetSmart Groomery!
The veterinarian and her team were wonderful. The waiting time was substantial but the team will text when its your turn so you can shop while you wait. The fee was $79 which included a short wellness exam ensuring your pet is well enough to be vaccinated. In my case, with a small white dog I was advised 2 have only the rabies shot and come back in 2 weeks for the distemper, which I believe was excellent advice.Honestly I can do nothing but praise the veterinarian and her team for all their patience and commitment 2 serving all the people and their pets in line with good care. I am grateful to the dedicated veterinarians, their team and Petco for this service.Note: There was an owner in line who chose to keep a fully grown bull dog unneutered causing those with smaller dogs to feel uneasy and then unsafe after the dog lurched out at a spayed gentle female pitty. When you wait for over an hour, it was distressing for all who witnessed it, so once again, I commend the veterinarian and her team.
It makes me sad that the birds and rodents are kept in such unsuitable conditions, terrariums and enclosures are sold that are unsafe for the animals advertised, and overall, many many things are overpriced. If youre looking for something at Petco, order it on Chewy.
Avoid grooming salon (Josh).Ive been returning here every time my pet needed a nail trimming for over two years now. But today it was a new guy that I hadnt seen before at the grooming salon on second floor. I thought it was a bit weird since usually the groomer lets me watch while my pet receives her nail trimming. But todays groomer (careless and lacks skills; my dog snails were all uneven -- which made me wonder whether Petco only hires licensed groomers) shooed me away to have me go pay for the service while he worked on my dog, which I suspected was neither the usual course of service nor was kind (I like to keep my dog within my eyesight at all times if I can), but I did anyway since I didnt want to cause any trouble. When I was back upstairs after paying, he was working on my dogs left hind foot --his last-- and suddenly my dog let out a squeal and I naturally asked what just happened. But the groomer (name: Josh/ I would guess his ethnicity to be white/Hispanic, age: mid-twenties) looked up at me, as if he just realized that I was back and said its probably because she (my dog) just saw you in a nonchalant voice as if it werent anything to worry about. And I immediately wondered, Is this guy seriously a groomer working at a pet salon?! Dogs dont cry out like that unless they feel some kind of sharp pain. Then he brought my dog to the counter and I saw that my dog was leaving blood stains where her foot touched, and of course I was upset and I remarked the blood marks on the counter to the groomer, and only then did he even notice that my dog was bleeding! (God knows how many times he hit the nerves while I was away) And the sleazy apology that he gave me was for any inconvenience that this may have caused me. Excuse me?! My dog was hurt and that is what he should be apologizing for! Please, readers and fellow patrons of this store, I wont tell you to avoid this store if you live in the area and this location happens to be the most convenient for you -- like it is for me-- but DO avoid Josh the groomer and the entire grooming salon on second floor if possible unless you want what happened to my dog happen to yours. Neither the guilty groomer nor the impolite store manager who seemed in the least bit interested in customer service seemed to care to sincerely apologize for todays accident. Thanks for reading, I thought it would benefit other dog owners in the UWS by writing this review.
Apparently training while shopping isnt allowed. My friend and I had our service dogs with us, working on some commands while shopping. We were harassed by the person working the floor. I have spent hundreds of dollars in this store. We put back the items we planned to buy because of the harassment. Apparently this Petco employee isnt aware of the ADA rules they violated by harassing us. I will be complaining to the store manager and to corporate so this does not happen to others. I work nearby, the Petco employee called my job to complain about me. Who does that?
Store was a bit abandoned. Collars and leashes were thrown in a box with no label at all,.some were organized in another area which was quite confusing. It was kinda pricey and you can find cheaper things at TJ Max, as an example a bag of treats were 5 dollars at Petco, but you can find the same at TJ for a bagatelle of 2.9 dollars.
Will not be returning to this Petco location for grooming. Horrible experience, took my bichon poodle Riley for a cut and they shaved all his hair off after I specifically told them I wanted a trim. When I asked why they shaved him the groomer claimed Riley was matted which was a lie even when he checked him at first he told me he wasnt matted. I also found several cuts on my dog after the grooming. Joshua the groomer didnt even look me in the face when I picked up my dog. Horrible customer service and they dont follow owners request for hair cut. On top of that they charged me $100 and I wasnt even satisfied with the service provided. Will definetely not be returning. Hopefully Rileys hair grows back quickly because the haircut is really bad.
Elisa in the grooming department made time to discuss my options and squeeze my cat in for a last minute deshedding treatment. I saw her handle several cats and she was very gentle. Its clear that she has a way with cats. Princess came home looking great and were happy because no more hair!
Went to this store at around 8:30, to 9 PM, and was purchasing a new aquarium for my bedroom. I saw that they had a sale for $1/gallon, and picked out a 20 gallon High, and while doing so, I rant into Jenny. She was extremely helpful, patient and informative about the different aspects of aquariums. I can say that because Ive kept fish for about 5-7 years, and learned from my mom, who has had fish for much longer (20+ years). Jenny was helpful also in deterring me from getting the tank that was on sale (which would have cost me about $200-$250 after getting each piece of equipment, sans plants, substrate, etc) and convinced me with the cheaper option of the tank kit. All in all, I got about $150 worth of aquarium stuff (plants, gravel, and the tank kit) after the Petco savings. Id like to also stress this point: she didnt rush us, even though the store was closing and when the stored was technically closed (we left at 10:30 pm - oops). And while most sales people would push you to the most expensive items, or mention some luxurious thing, she didnt. Instead, she would mention it... and then provide an alternative. All in all, I really enjoyed the service I got from her.As for buying live fish from Petco. Personally, I would try not to buy from a large store chain (e.g., Petsmart, Petco, Walmart, etc) because they only see the fish as cheap products that can easily be replaced. With this location, there tanks were in good condition, however, I could clearly see multiple tanks that had dead fish. Furthermore, I didnt like that they grouped coldwater Goldfish, with a tropical fish, a species of Loach - they dont go together, so why put them together?!Overall, I really did enjoy the service I got from this Petco (mainly from Jenny), and will go back there for either plants, or equipment.
Went here to get a vaccine done with Vetco. I waited nearly 2 hours for one vaccine. Within that time I saw 3 puddles of urine and the Petco employees just kept walking right by them. 2 hours in that store and those 3 puddles were there the entire time. So disgusting.
I went to this petco branch for the sole intention in buying some Glofishes to add to my collection.Firstly, if youre going to sell fishes, why dont you make sure to keep them alive. Sure, the fish could have died of old age, but leaving in the tank with other fishes really did deterred me in paying $9.99 for each, possibly infected, glofish. While I never had this problem in petland, in regards to fishes, their prices are reasonable. Each glofish goes for $6.99 and I got my first 3 on sale for $5 each.Guess where Im buying my next batch at?
Very irresponsible store. I made an appt to groom my dog. I was called the day of the appt by the store and was cancelled. Then I made another appt for the following week, and I was called again with the same exact excuse, the day of the appt and got cancelled again.
Groomers: TERRIBLE. I witnessed a groomer treat a perfectly calm dog with tension, force, aggression and frustration. Grabbing at the dog. Pushing her head down. Grabbing a chunk of hair in order to keep the dog still. Absolutely DISGUSTING behavior. And to think that was the type of behavior they allowed in full view of their customers, I CANT IMAGINE what happens behind closed doors. DO NOT GO HERE.

2022-04-26Good selection of fish! My favorite part about the fish section is that they tell you the specs about them, that way you know if they’re easy to handle, schooling, temperature, etc. Staff is very friendly.

2022-02-18Friendly staff and I found what I needed. The store shelves were pretty sparsely filled, though. I ended up having to buy a rather expensive water bottle for my guinea pigs because there was only one available. Bless their hearts, the guinea pigs are grateful for it. It has a cute little duck in it so I can see more clearly when the water level is getting too low.

2022-03-17Today was the second day I took my puppy Pit-bull to be vaccinated here. I have to say, the customer service was great both times. All the staff members that assisted me today and last month were all super efficient, friendly and fast! Very helpful !!! I definitely recommend bringing your pet here to be vaccinated !!! Also the store is huge and fully stocked with pet supplies. Thanks to all the super hard working dedicated young staff members here, you all made my dog and I happy!

2022-02-18Great that it is nearby, but the shelves are frequently empty for cat food/supplies. The store is rarely if ever cleaned. The staff is helpful, but it seems like they are so short-staffed. I feel bad that they are not given resources/support to run a better store.

2022-04-21Im giving this place four stars because mgmt responded to a complaint about dead and dying Betta fish on display. Things have improved a LOT.They have a pretty decent silk plant collection which is good because the live plants are melted and/or rotting in their containers.

2021-12-22The beta fish look lifeless , idknifbthere properly being taken care of .its a shame there in a tiny container just waiting to die or be bought to just be put in another tiny tank ....waiting to die if not properly taken care of .Update 12/22/21This place is in need of stock the walls barely have any product in them .The fish still look sad .

2022-05-23This place is a mess. Nothing is where it’s supposed to be. I went to get litter and the shelf was empty even tho it said the litter was supposed to be there. I turned around and went for another aisle and found the items in the dog aisle. Also there were 4 ppl in the front and only 1 person taking customers. One person casually eating his frozen yogurt while ppl are waiting on line to pay. Ridiculous

2022-04-19I enrolled my dog in food auto delivery and have experienced nothing but a nightmare with this company. 2 lost orders, no replacements, false informations from different representatives. The incompetence of the employers!

2022-06-08I usually go in there searching for the live little cat grass plants but for the past 3 months theyve been really Dead looking, brown not green & fresh and the other day theyve ustedes had none whatsoever... I was also looking for catnip but they only have the ones with the worst reviews online, dissapointing😕

2022-05-04Hardly have anything worth buying for your pet. Prices are higher from the ones inthe internet. Staff is no where to be found when needed. I opted now for the competitor or getting my pets needs online with better prices. Be careful with the membership discounts they offer they have an expiration date and they will not honor it. They are more interested in your money. The worst pet store I have ever been.
