A classic New York City watering hole and the Official Home of Raider Nation in Manhattan!! The bartender Johnny makes game day a true treat and the bar goes all out for Raider Fans. I left forgetting I wasn’t in Oakland until I looked up and saw the Empire State Building! They don’t have food but there are incredible eateries in the surrounding area that they allow you to bring into the bar. I’d recommend the Deli across the street they have lights out Pastrami & Corned Beef!
Go every Friday after work, the waitress is always very rude and inattentive, she prefers to serve white men than foreign women who work in the area and are always going to spend money in the place, today I went with one of my colleagues and we didnt let her tip since she is always rude and treats us with attitude, she asked rudely why we didnt tip her, it is not mandatory to tip if you dont deserve it, good prices and good drinks but customer service is the worst and seen in the city.
I was visiting from DC for the weekend and needed a place to watch the Raiders game. This place was absolutely perfect. Made a bunch of friends immediately. Convinient, awesome crowd, and omg the drinks were so cheap. I had two Jameson and 4 beers and it was like 24 bucks. 4 dollar Jameson. THE Raiders bar in NYC.
This place rocks. The crowd is definitely white collar corporate and thirty-ish and up. Their prices are very reasonable with buybacks and $4 Jameson shots. No food here but you can bring it from outside. The decor and the staff are all Irish so its definitely legit. Gets VERY loud on weekdays and Saturday evenings but Sundays are more laid back. Pay to play pool table in the back. Bathrooms downstairs are super tiny but they work and are kept fairly clean. The music is kept all 80s rock and pop. All around great spot to go drink, I recommend it
Tonight is our second night here, and we came back because the service was beyond all expectations last night. The bartenders were ridiculously friendly, helpful, and served perfect drinks. They made us feel welcomed and exuded halpiness and positive vibes. I live in Atlanta but will definitely come back again next time I am in Midtown! There really is something about the friendliness of a true Irishman
Visited from Birmingham. This bar was exactly what I was looking for! Everyone in the pub was friendly and were simply wanting to have a great time. Enjoyed the karaoke and light-hearted mood with people dancing with all degrees of expertise (I was probably the worse ;) ). Wonderful people from nearby neighborhoods. Had been a few years since I last visited NYC, this pub was a great welcome party.
This is a great bar to hang out with your friends. its probably not the coolest place to meet new people though. Theyre accommodating with reservations, and the service is great. the prices are good for Manhattan and they give you a free round for every 3 or so rounds that you buy. the music is good and they have karaoke on Saturdays!! they dont have food but they let you order in and theyll even put it on your tab!
Stopped in after work on a Tuesday. got a drink pretty quickly at the bar. $4 stellas? yes, please! sat at one of the cozy wooden tables. whenever my drink was near empty, the bartender came by to see if i needed another one. such good customer service. i am not used to the bartender coming out from behind the bar. stellar service, i would say. ordered a few more rounds and then a round of whiskey. she gave us a round on her. fantastic! will definitely return. had heard from coworkers that even though they dont serve food, they encourage patrons to order food/bring food from outside. that works!
Excellent place!!!Real Irish pub in NY, all the furniture, ambient. They got good drinks at reasonable prices for NY standards, and for being just to blocks from Grand Central. The bar tender was the best part, it was like in the movies. I would recommend ii definitely!!An also they got karaoke nights Fridayso and Saturdays.
Everything in Manhattan is over priced, except this place. The beer is reasonably priced and not that watered down stuff you get at chain restaurants. The atmosphere is fun and laid back. The bartenders are extremely friendly. They have a great variety of beers on tap. I loved it! Must check this place out.
We went to this pub in the evening we got our first drinks nicely the first time round. When we wanted the next set of drinks another bar tender - bald Irish dude (or at least has an Irish accent) had joined the one that served us at first. This bar tender mostly ignored us and eventually after we got his attention and he came to our side, the first thing I said was thank you for coming to get our orders. He left right away, I suppose he didnt careless for our gratitude... very strange. We left after that as he was not going to serve us. Well, there you have it. I will not be returning to this pub and I would say stay away by all means. Mark you the drinks are not necessarily cheap unless you get one of the beers on happy hour.
Whats not to love about this dark Irish Pub? Its exactly like out of a movie - dim lighting, a pool table, some couches in the back and a well stocked bar. The staff behind the bar is great and they always know your name. Theyre great with keeping tabs on how many rounds youve bought and generous enough to give a buy-back from time to time.I just wish they sold food :). They do have menus behind the bar and allow you to order in food, so thats cool. Still, something about the place strikes me that they would have the best burger in town - if only they made burgers. lol.Cheers!R
This is your average Irish pub style dive bar in midtown. Its not great, but its not bad. Drinks are really cheap, which is a plus, but as for variety, you wont get much. If you need a few drinks after work in midtown, it works. There are always better bars, but I guess you cant go wrong with this place if you are looking for a dive bar.
Loved the pub last year (May 2015) and really looking forward to getting back there this year.Good pool table with some great players. If you want a decent game of pool here works. There will even be people who know what Cricket is !If only they had a Juke Box the place would be complete.
If its really hot and you want a beer/lager, then you can have one and not even have to sit in front of the telly if you dont want to. The beer is very good and the service is however you want it to be, like its ok. So I had two beers, maybe thee not to overstay my welcome...........oh, and you get pints, and they are cool and fresh......and it is ok or I would not bother writing this thing.........everything is ok.
A perpetual bastion of excellence in an area of the city otherwise devoid of nightlife. This is a Raiders bar and it gets packed for every single game. Thankfully on such Sundays, the staff will invite a sausage&peppers food truck to be parked outside the entrance. The bar does not serve food, and on weekends after 10pm be prepared to either tolerate or sing karaoke.
The KJ put her friends ahead of paying customers and then yelled at a group over the microphone because they asked why their song hadnt come up yet. Completely unprofessional. I used to come here regularly for karaoke but will reconsider moving forward. Its a great bar, but her behavior was totally unacceptable.
I love this bar its like the real life version of Cheers nestled in right here in Murray Hill neighborhood of NYC. The locals are awesome and the bartenders take very good care of you. It is more then worth the trip if you are in the neighborhood. If you are Metronorth Rail Commuter its less then a 5 minute walk from the station.
Came here for some St. Patricks day fun. Bartender was nice, went all out to paint his hair green even. Had some lovely Irish Car Bombs (whether that is legitimately Irish remains to be determined). All decked out in green and had a good time. Seems like there might be a pool table here but it was covered when I was present.
I had made plans to watch the World Cup finals with my son in this establishmentThe person opening the bar arrived at 11:10, and by 11:20 the security gate was still down and the pub not opened. My son, me and another chap left for a pub down the road and we spent our money there.I am very disappointed in your tardyness, considering you advertised the World Cup soccer on your website.
Came here with some friends for St. Pattys day. Seemed no different from other Irish pubs in the city. Bartender was friendly, but the bouncer was passing unwanted comments about people around him in the bar-it was little putting off. A fight broke out too-bloody nose and everything-but I guess it was St. Pattys day and a lot of people had had a lot to drink, so wasnt altogether surprised. All in all, nothing special about the place, might troop in with some friends unplanned again one night, but dont see myself planning a visit again.
I love this bar, people coming are nice and friendly especially the employees. I live playing pool and singing the karaoke with matching dancing..I go to this bar regularly during fri or saturdays. Imagine,i live in queens and i have to travel a long way...right...its ok coz i really am enjoying the place.See u there
Great New York City Irish bar with a very eclectic mixed crowd the bartenders are absolutely wonderful the atmosphere is casual and laid-back ranging from people having a conversation to First states to post work groups to people there to watch sporting events no food is available at the bar but you can order delivery or bring your own in really a great place just to hang out the prices are right the drinks are strong and the bartenders are absolutely wonderful
The first thing I noticed about this pub is that the drinks are very diluted. Dont expect to get any kind of a buzz off of three gin and tonics. The next thing I noticed was that the bartender, whos name is Paul, works Saturday nights, and is in this country illegally, threatened to put a gun in my mouth, make him come, and toss my body off a bridge so that he could abduct my girlfriend who he made several attempts to touch and grope in what you could describe as her bathing-suit areas.I cannot say I will be returning to this establishment.

2022-03-05Peter crafted me a dirty Betty that I appreciated. They dont serve food (I was disappointed) but you can bring in what you want. You can shoot pool. Definitely a construction worker hang out spot. A fun dive bar for a drink.

2022-03-03Awesome place to hang out with friends, they play good music, and affordable prices, everything you see in the pictures you will find over there. What do they can improve? They dont have a menu, so every time you have to ask to the barman what do they have. Also they could add any snacks like wings, fried chips, etc. Bc they only have drinks.

2022-04-17Horrible experience. The bar is not busy. Hence, Peter, the manager, was my server on Saturday night! The bar was almost empty and when I asked him if he was the manager he got irritated and answered yeah Im the manager, what do you want to say? Drinks are very over priced and the services are worse than mediocre!

2022-05-09The environment is relaxed, the music is not too loud, so you can actually talk. The prices were reasonable for a Manhattan bar. This place gives you the local pub feel and if you are a Raiders football fan, this place is an official Raiders nation hangout.
