Took my dog here for her second grooming appointment ever (the first was at a different groomer) and we had a great experience. We felt that they were gentle, caring, and did not force her to do anything that she didn’t want to do. For example, she was afraid of the dryer and the groomer opted to towel dry instead to make sure she was happy and comfortable. I will definitely be taking her here in the future!
As a pet owner and dedicated community cat caretaker with many mouths to feed everyday I’m always looking for good quality products at affordable prices including donations of discontinued, expired, or otherwise unsellable food. That a clean well-stocked fairly-priced pet supply and groom shop opened around the block was a huge boon to neighborhood pet lovers. That Mehdi and Sam and the staff are so courteous, friendly and accommodating makes that especially so. Much continued success to everyone.
Took my dog for grooming today and was very impressed! Not only did they do a fantastic job with the grooming, but were so accommodating and kind and listened to the things that were important to me. I was already a customer for pet supplies, but I will definitely be back in for grooming in the future!
It is a beautiful thing to have variety in the neighborhood of Washington heights. Pets on broadway is a convenient location for your pet supplies, they even offer grooming services etc. Business owner mehdi is professional and friendly. My dog’s birthday was a few days ago and he gifted her birthday treats. Occasionally gives out samples as well. Overall great service, Reasonable cost.
Hey locals! I unexpectedly became a cat dad again, just a few weeks after Pets on Broadway NYC 2 opened. I love that theyre growing so fast and getting all the things pet parents need including grooming. Theres even a section for bird, fish and hamsters.I spoke to the owner about stuff. I suggested frequent buyer discounts like a punch card or a key fob for discounts. Its being considered.Anyways, the service is great. The prices are reasonable. Also, support local businesses.~MDF
I absolutely love this place. The employees are super sweet and the dog groomers too. Theres alot of variety in food and treats for dogs and cats. Very convenient and not too expensive
Very overpriced the pet shops just a couple blocks away on 181 has everything cheaper
I was impressed that they only carry the highest quality products and I can trust their selections. Sam was the cashier that helped me find products specially for my pup and my pup enjoyed his birthday shopping spree! This will definitely be our shop now :)
Wow... So glad theres finally a better alternative to find quality pet food and supplies. Just transitioned my pitbull over to grain free food and was annoyed I had to go all the way down to midtown to get good quality brands. Funny b/c when i googled the best grain free options for my dog, all the brands that popped up, i just noticed this store carried. Plus they gave my boy a nice lil treat when we went in. He was like a pup in the canine choc factory with all the bones and treats on display! Lol... They also deliver & are starting grooming soon. From their card they do cat-sitting too. Our dog loves this place!Great store, friendly staff and they are well stocked.We have gotten stuff for our dog, cats, bird and even a water conditioner for the axolotls tank.🐕🐱🐦🐲
Big fan of these brothers that run the two Pets on Broadway locations. They have a great selection of dog food, treats, and toys at both stores, and they deliver my dog’s 35 pound bag of dog food for free.
They were very helpful especially when it came to questions about the toys I would need to help with my dogs teething. I would come back again for all my pups toys and needs!
I bought training treats for my pet and called the shop to return the food 15 minutes after I left because my pet will not eat it. The owner said they don’t permit any returns as store policy which I found shocking because other stores in the area all have a return policy.

2022-01-15Best kept secret!!!! I have been coming here since last year and every time I come in we get the best service ever. Sam is the greatest ever he was professional and courteous. I highly recommend this place. My mom now has switched over from the pet store located in Brooklyn to this bundle of joy. Thank you Sam for making our experience a pleasant one!!!!

2022-01-04Last week I took my dog there for a bath and grooming. I asked the lady for a medium hair cut because I like how he looks when he’s all fluffy and it’s cold outside. I made a remark about making the hair around his face short, especially around his eyes, so he could see better. She said it’d be $90, I like to pay upfront in case I have to send somebody else to pick him up. They said they’ll call me up when he is ready. I took my dog there at 12:30pm on schedule but I didn’t get my dog back until almost 6pm, I called them to get an update cuz it had been so long I got worried. They said they lost my phone number or something . But not only that, I get a hungry dog back with a huge bold spot around his nose, with a summer short cut and he could barely open his left eye. The lady didn’t even speak on that she had the audacity to say that she had to cut the hair short because the dog had many knots. Fake news. He got a sloppy cut with scissors and then tells the register guy to charge an extra $20 for the trouble of having to cut the hair shorter. My dog is traumatized, still a week later, he tries to bite people when they want to pet him or pick him up. My dog is normally very friendly laidback.His left eye is getting worse. I gotta take him to the Vet now to get his eyes checked. Save your money and the stress! Very disappointed

2022-03-16Be carefull of this place. Not honest. We bought dog food from them that made my dog immidiately so ill that we had to hospitalized him and pay 10000 dollars for it. They didnt want to take back this full bag of dog food and refund us although all other stores accept dog food if bought less than 14 days ago. The person that answered over the phone wad so rude and snobish. They dont deserve to have any buiseness.

2022-05-06I can’t say enough of how Koko was treated ❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽. They are very gentle with the dogs, the haircut was fenomenal 🌸🌸 staff very professional. Koko has found a loving and caring groomer!

2021-11-16Lack of communication and RUDE groomer (Carla). DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE.First time I took my dog here, they waited until I dropped him off to tell me that they only accepted cash for grooming; I was very annoyed. This is something that should be communicated on the phone when making the appointment.Second and last time I returned, 1. Carla (groomer) did the exact opposite of what I asked 2. After my dog was groomed, at checkout I was informed that the price had gone up. This is another thing you should communicate to clients before the services are provided.Lastly, when I expressed dissatisfaction with the way they DO NOT communicate with clients, Carla honored the original fee and asked me not to bring my dog back. HUH??I am still baffled at the turn of events; basically, we dont need your business. Yup...1 star is 1 star too many. Poor customer service all around.

2022-01-24Wow. Their website has one price, then you go in the store and they charge you a totally different price. I called them and they said the company just changed the price. The company raised the price 40%? But no other retailers are reflecting this 40% price increase. Very sketchy business. Will never return.
