This is a nice pets smart. We had a quick stop last week were we picked up our new beta fish Moonie. Hes been doing well and hasnt die yet! On a real note the store was fairly clean it has a lot of signage up in regards to covid. It also has markings on the floor. They are doing pick up as well. It wasnt busy the day we went and they had a good variety of Beta fish of all price ranges. Our fish was $7.00 and is a beautiful little guy. We are very thankful for him.

Was told to bring our dog in for nail trimming, no appointment necessary. We went on Friday right around 5pm, they closed earlier than their posted 8pm, due to staff shortages. So todays visit was scheduled by upper management to assure we could be seen. An appointment probably should have been scheduled, when we contacted them the very first time. Its a shame about staff shortages. They do a great job!
Absolute WORST groom I ever had for a dog. $74, shes 8 lbs, nails not done, glands not done, horrible shave, didnt do hair in-between pads. Lesson learned. Take your dog to a professional groomer. Do NOT waste your money.
Appointments are recommended, but they were able to take our dog in for a grooming as a walk-in. He enjoyed his spa treatment and the staff is so wonderful. We look forward to taking him back!
Chris did amazing job on my golden doodle. I was really happy with how he took his time to give our dog a nice style. In the past I’ve had stylist act frustrated because my dogs hair is so thick, it’s hard to cut. Chris was friendly and nice and kept our dog at ease. We plan on coming back there.

I was very Leary to take my dog to petsmart for grooming. However, I was very satisfied with the job that Sam the groomer did. I will definitely return.
Horrible experience.Never book with Sam she lacks customer service skills and will mistreat your pet. My dog is traumatized from the treatment she received from Sam. Will never book with Sam again nor this location the store manager made excuses for her behavior by saying “Saturday’s is the busiest day in the salon”. Unacceptable very disappointed.
Its PetSmart...you get a wide variety and good assistance from the workers. Never had a bad experience here over the past 15 years or so. Cat and dog stuff along with reptiles and birds, pretty wide variety of things. Also alot of food choices for your pet!

Disappointed on PetSmarts exchange policy. I took back an item I had purchase with a coupon because it was defective. Instead of giving an even exchange, I had to pay an extra 20% of the product value just to get a new product that was not defective.
The guy that cashed us out was not very nice. I asked how is your day and he completely ignored me. Then cashed me out. I said have a nice day and he still ignored me. Thats just super rude to me and I feel like he shouldnt have a customer service job.

There Wes only 1 check out person and she was carrying on a lengthy conversation while people were wearing in line to check out. On top of that the price for a soft dog collar was twice as much as another Pet Store. I wont be back.
Wonderful, organized and clean shop for most pet supply needs. They have a great assortment of supplies, food, toys, housings for most types of pets. If its pet related, theres a very good chance you will find it here. Over the past few years they have scaled down the amount of live animals available for purchase, so if thats what youre looking for its best to look elsewhere. They do still have a great assortment of fish available, so its a good option for aquarium needs.
I enjoy coming to this petsmart because they are always so eager to help and very friendly. Bobby answered the phone today for me while I waited to pickup my dogs food. He was polite and very helpful. He quickly got someone to come out and I didn’t have to wait too long!Thank you

Had my Husky groomed with the furminator package, couldnt be happier! Robyns at the transit rd location was incredible alone with all of the other groomers there that day. They were all so patient with the dogs, super gentle you can tell they were all Im the rite occupation and loved what they did I was observing everything and had no complaints. Will definitely be returning!
Frinedy workers and great customer service
I wasnt very impressed with their animal selection. They had a lot of stock to choose from aquariums to small animal supplies to dog foods. Their prices were outrageous too. Actually, as a first time visitor and hearing rave reviews, I was quite disappointed. I was happy to see they had fruit flies though. I did purchase those because I was in need and I bought a dog treat for our boxador.
This store has recently changed managers. They have the IDIOTIC policy that every can of food must be individually scanned. So, if you buy 3 cases of food, be prepared to WAIT while 72 cans are individually scanned. I spoke with the manager and suggested they leave them wrapped in plastic. She was SO horribly rude. I mean I am a very polite person and she was horrible. She said that she has caught people removing plastic and mixing them. I mean, come on. You can’t have the common sense to say to Scan IF opened. Otherwise, you can bundle. When did common sense die?? And, how do the other PetSmart stores manage?? Because this is the ONLY one that does it. Stay away. Just go to another. Or order online. I will never be back.
Robin is the BEST! She handles our sometimes temperamental dogs with confidence & ease! They come back clean and groomed beautifully!
I bought the wrong size dog diaper and before I even got to my car I turned around and went back in the store to get the right size for my dog. The clerk and the manager would not give me back the point dollars I used on the wrong product to put towards the correct product. Therefore I lost my points and I lost my dollars and under two minutes

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT buy a tortise from any petsmart. The horribly unqualified employee who was on the floor the night I got mine told me I was buying a 1 year old tortise, only to soon find out from my vet (and confirmed by petsmart) he is a mature adult at least 5 years old, maybe as old as 10 that was wild captured. THATS RIGHT, WILD CAPTURED!! As are all petsmarts tortises and probably most of their exotic reptiles and mammals alike. They claim he was vet checked but I took him to the vet the on the 2nd day and he tested positive for an extreme amount of pin worms in his poo and a bad parasite as well. I immideatly began treatments with a de-worming injection and went home with IV injections to treat the parasite.Why would they take place in this barbaric and inhumane practice when there is reputable breeders out there that sell HEALTHY captivity born and raised pets.The worst part of all though, is that besides this poor little guy being so scared and stressed out, not moving an inch all day and still not eating after about 2 weeks of me having him is that while at this petsmart he was severely dehydrated and sick and sitting in the worst set up I had ever seen. He came to me loaded with pin worms and parasites that I have been spending hundreds on to treat. Petsmart would have returned him but that would have been a sure death sentence for him as someone on the phone told me if I did return him on this particular day( it was a Thursday)he wouldnt see their vet until at least the next Monday. he was sitting in the worst enclosure ever and clearly never vet checked. I have faxed petsmart one of my first vet bills but of course have not heard a thing and at this point have accrued about 300$ in vet bills for a still very lethargic, stressed and sick wild caught tortise.
Getting thru the one and only open checkout is always tedious for me. I stop by on my way home from work usually and there is always, always a wait. There are other employees in the store stocking shelves, but seldom is any assistance called up front to cash. I try to avoid petsmart if I can.

We brought our dog Frank in after having just moved here and putting it off for too long. Jose was our groomer and he was amazing. Frank was so nervous and had some mats and such. Jose was so great and professional. When we returned to get Frank he looked so sharp with his new do. Thanks Jose. Would recommend this pet smart to anyone.

Went to look at adoptable cats. I usually get my fish supplies here because they have a wide selection. Didnt really go shopping, but the one person I asked about the cats seemed annoyed that I asked her a question.
I like that it is different from the chain pretty stores yet offers as much or more than they do. The people in the store are very friendly and helpful too.
As soon as you start to ask about their policy they try to force you out the doors. They dont want to answer anything regarding their policy. And when you point out any flaws. Kathy and Erika both try to tell you how they know the law and will have you arrested for harassment. Watch yourselves. We got badasses out here. Got turned down from buying a mouse because I asked them how they know people are treating the animals in good fashion.. and dont just buy them as feeders. Kathy then tried ripping the liability papers from my hand while physically forcing me out the store.
Always happy with our 2 babies grooming services. They have made adjustments as needed if my dogs are ever appearing nervous.
I was fostering kittens and mom . Second chance . Was able to put them in PetSmart . Today . It was nice and clean I felt that the kittens can mom will be seen and go to new homes fast. Thank you Maryanne.

Grooming Salon Review - I have two rescue Terriers about 3 years old. The groomers not only take in all of your dogs information. When setting up the appointment by phone they first make sure your dog is up to date on all vaccinations. (I have been to groomers who do not even ask). When you arrive they take time not only to help you decide which grooming package, but also if you have any special requests. They offer a variety of specialty shampoo products (I always get the shed-less option). One of the best things about it is that the grooming salon is surrounded by GLASS windows so you can watch your dog getting groomed to see that they are treated with gentle kindness during the process. I have tried three other grooming salons but no one does the job as well, every time my dogs are groomed to my specific requests!! 5 stars :)

Always asking for donations at check out. I donate to SPCA and hate being asked if I want to donate $5.00 to homeless pets or if I want to buy a toy for a homeless dog.

2022-07-01I am extremely allergic to the kitties and cats, but I still pet them whenever I stop by PetSmart. I took my dog here when he was a puppy for training, and he learned a lot from that course. All the staff seem to know a lot, and thats very useful for lurking around in there. They also have a fancy rat for sale, and I laughed at it. Fancy rat. I want one, I want to see how fancy a rat can get.

2021-09-30Very disappointed in the service I got.first of all they didn’t listen to myInstruction on how to groom myPet. They shaved him completely in some areas were shorter than another. my dog was so beautiful and had healthy fur. Sadly.Also the person that talked to me on the phone was very rude and upfront. totally disappointed in the service I received, I totally don’t recomend this place. Shame and on top of that they are extremely expensive. And on top of that it costed me $75 to groom him. But in all honestly my mini Goldendoodle was shaved to nothing. Not sure why the need to charge that much. They didn’t brush him or do anything special. He didn’t even spell good. I had to take him home and try to cut the extra hair that was left in some areas. 2022-06-12830 apt to get dogs nails trimmed. I arrive 835 wait at the door 5 min because they dont open till 10 on Sunday. Guy lets me in stand in grooming area 10 min before someone greets me only to tell me that they called me a few minutes ago (never got the call ) they canceled my appointment and I would need to reschedule. There was 1 other person in the store waiting no one else. Typical service from big corporations. Will be using a local groomer from now on.

2022-04-04We had our dog groomed by Chris at the Clarence Store and he did a fantastic job! Even better, our dog was completely calm when we dropped him off because Chris seems to be a dog whisperer and was also calm when we picked him up. This is pretty unusual for Kipper. Hes usually freaking out. We will absolutely be back. Kipper looks super! Thank you so much for taking such good care of our dog.4/4/2022 - I am updating my review after another fantastic experience with Petsmart grooming. Chris is no longer there and Kipper was taken care of by Crystal - who was super sweet and gentle with him. This time we had waited too long and he was pretty shaggy. But she took her time and he looks and feels like a million dollars. Thank you Crystal for taking such care with our dog and we will certainly be back.

2021-12-29I got a gift card to Pet Smart. I used it went to use it for kitty litter. It seemed simple enough.I had to give them my name, phone number and email address to get the sale price so I could get their spam. Then the gift card didnt work! They took the money!
