Piano Land Movers & Storage in other cities:
Pianoland moved my grand piano to our new home in Manhattan. They handled it like the true professionals that they are. It was delivered without a single scratch. They even provided professional piano tuning after the move. I would highly recommend this piano moving service.
I purchased a baby grand piano on eBay.. It was for my daughter. The owner let it go for 750.00. I called several local movers and they wanted as much as I paid for it move it from a ground floor location to my family room which was also ground floor. I finally called Pianoland, the New York piano movers. They charged half of all the others and even had someone tune it for my daughter. I would highly recommend them.
I used the piano storage service of Pianoland piano movers when I was in the military and deployed overseas. They kept my piano in a climate controlled environment for over a year. When I returned and was discharged they delivered my baby grand to my new place in New Jersey. It arrived in the same perfect condition as when I left. They even did piano tuning for me. Pianoland is the best NYC area piano moving and storage.
My wife and I purchased a piano from someone on Craigslist. We went to see it and had it checked out by someone from Piano Land who does the piano tuning. After purchasing it we had Piano Land Moving and Storage move it to our house. It arrived without any damage and the movers set it up exactly where we wanted it. We were very pleased with this piano moving service.
I cant say enough about Pianoland. Their professionalism is outstanding and very impressive. Pianoland moved an upright and grand piano for us on the same day, and the efficiency, speed and care they took to protect the pianos was fantastic. If the whole world would operate like this we would live in a paradise. Needless to say, they have our highest recommendation. Thank you from New York Jazz Workshop.
I cannot tell you how happy I was with Pianoland’s service. They were funny, friendly, and professional every step of the way. I found this great piano in an apartment New York. It was abandoned by the owner. I needed to move it and I needed a NYC piano moving company to do it. I called Pianoland and they gave me a fair price to move it. I gave them the job and they from the third floor in the Bowery to my place in Brooklyn. The piece arrived in perfect condition.

When I moved from Brooklyn I hired Piano Land Movers and Storage to move my piano to my new place on Staten Island. For the price it was really worth it, not to deal with it myself. They handled it as if it weighed nothing. It arrived at my new place without a scratch.

I answered an ad for a free antique piano on Craigslist. When I went to see it I found it to be a beautiful Empire style piece. I also could see why it was free because it was in a third floor walk up with a very narrow staircase. It had probably been up there for centuries. I solicited the help of Pianoland the experienced piano movers from Brooklyn. The crew chief looked at the job and said, No problem. Within minutes they had the piano on the stairwell and were moving right along. It took three of them to handle it. It now is displaying beautifully in my home. Thank you Pianoland for a great job.

2022-07-16Piano Land stored my piano for 5 years and it was delivered to my home in the same condition I left it in. The pricing was very fair and owner Alex was always quick to respond. While it was not an ideal situation for me to have to store my piano, I took comfort in knowing it was properly stored in climate controlled conditions and in good hands. They are experts at moving, handing, and care of pianos. Thank you Piano Land!

2021-07-15Alex was super responsive. We received our quote and made the arrangements via email so everything was clear. He was able to get the COI for both buildings to us in an efficient and timely manner. The guys that came to pickup and deliver the piano were experienced. They are big guys, but very very professional AND polite. My kids can learn some manners from them ;)They were aware of the covid situation and while they are not allowed to take off their shoes, they offered an alternative of putting on plastic bags over their shoes so I appreciated that they were thinking of the customer and offered a solution that we were both comfortable with. The move was flawless. They examined the piano for dings and scratches and clearly checked them on off on a paper with a diagram of a standard piano. Clearly these guys are professional piano movers - who else would have prepared documents like this?I would not hesitate to use these guys again and recommend them

2020-12-28Honestly the piano movers were great, careful in wrapping, picking up, and moving my piano. The reason for 2 deducted stars, I was scheduled to move my piano between 2pm-5pm they didn’t arrive till 6pm given it was 2 days before Christmas and there was a lot of traffic I told Alex I understand. It would’ve been nice if they reached out to let me know. I only found out after I reached out to Alex that the movers weren’t going to arrive on time. I was going to be late for work. While waiting for piano delivery to mew destination it took a while too, again holiday season...fine but when the movers arrived they told me they needed to stop to get gas and meet their boss. I was very understanding and tipped the 3 movers $20 each on top of the cost. At the end of the day it wasn’t fair for me having to be 2 hours late for work. I don’t get paid for being 2 hours late. Leaving my review at 3 stars.

2020-11-26Contacted them for a move from Brooklyn to Port Chester via phone. My sister had emailed them initially but didnt get a reply after a few days so she asked me to call on her behalf. Spoke to a man who gave me a quote after I gave him information about the piano, pickup and drop off location. After he gave me the quote I told him Id call him back to finalize. Called back and he told me to just email him.We exchanged emails and set the date. The move was seamless. They even brought a box filled with sheet music and books along with the delivery when we asked if they could take it with them too. That was nice of them, certainly not necessary.Overall, the experience was quick and easy and the guys were nice and the piano traveled without a single scratch or issue. I normally include the rate in which I was charged for the service but the quote will really be dependent on your particular circumstance. Our total was over $400 but included tolls and steps leading up and into the home. Sister paid them via Venmo.

2017-06-24The BEST piano movers in NYC!!!! They are 100% reliable, professional, punctual, and worth every penny! I booked them at the very last minute (2 days before) and am blown away by the amazing service. I got an upright piano from Connecticut but needed it to be moved to my home before noon on a specific date. They drove there and brought it to me in one piece. It was in perfect condition. They took their time and made sure that the piano was brought in safely. They wrapped the piano up so that it is protected. They even check the piano when they unwrap it to make sure everything is working and in place. They even fixed a wheel on another piano that I already have. They are highly knowledgeable about pianos. You cannot rely on just any company to move your piano. Pianos are a huge investment and must be treated with the utmost care. Pianoland certainly goes above and beyond for your piano needs. I highly recommend this company!

2016-05-28I purchased a used Yamaha electric grand piano from a home in Nassau County. I needed it moved to my home in Queens. I called the only professional piano moving company I know, which is Pianoland in Brooklyn. They gave me a price on the phone which is a very reasonable flat rate that they charge. They delivered my piano to my home the next day without a scratch. I would recommend these piano movers to anyone.

2016-10-23We purchased a second hand upright piano for practically nothing. When we wanted to move it all of the local movers wanted more money than it was worth. Then we found Pianoland. They did the job for a much better price plus they had the experience with NYC piano moving that the others did not have. The move went smoothly and we are happy with our semi-new piano.

2020-10-0720200526::one of the guys must have OCD, he made sure every ding, and scratch, i saw and signed off on it, and he put so much moving blankets on it making sure the corners were like doing military bed foldings. it was even more impressive going up 5 steps.

2018-05-05The piano movers from Pianoland were incredible when they moved my big grand piano out of my loft in New York to my new home on Staten Island. It was really something to see, the way they handled it so carefully even though it was so big and heavy. I would never hire another piano moving company.
