Not my mammas spaghetti... but it was good
We were those people. Called up because of confusion on when Pietro’s closed up for the night. Called them right at close. Not only did they pick up but they offered to stay open for my wife to place an order. Thank you so much for the great service!

Great Italian food at a good price, highly recommend it, great atmosphere also. Polite staff. The spaghetti/angel hair be prepared for alot, Id say at least 1-2 lbs of noodles. The Italian sausage is to 🎲 for.

Never been there before. Met my daughter for lunch today. They call it Ps at Elmira College. Nice, clean, causual setting. Very friendly waiter. Very good pizza. Garlic knots out of this world. Two lunches and drinks under $25. I will definitely be back. Great spot to met up with daughter and give her a study break. Cant beat it.
Food is fantastic, price good. The Rocky Mountain sub is awesome! If you eat in the service is slow. Not rude, very nice. Just slow. And been there at least 5 times. Just not the kind of place where you get in and out fast. Wife says red sauce is superb
Absolutely wonderful experience here. Went during lunch time and the server was friendly and attentive. The bread is AMAZING and made fresh in the restaurant. The food is delicious, it really feels like your at home, no rush whatsoever. Good prices too! Highly recommend trying it out!
Seafood Alftedo was Excellent. All Seafood tasted fresh and was cooked properly. Alfredo was homemade and delicious. Will visit again
Decent pizzeria, the quality fluctuate depending on the day. Since it has changed hands the quality has been better, but there is an issue with how the atmosphere is. The owner seems to eat more than manage his place and it always seems as though there are children doing all the work. Even though they are respectful and curtious theres been a bit of drama being thats a family advertised setting and seems to be family run.
Worse Caesar salad Ive ever had. Lots of pieces of browned and some slimy lettuce. Chicken was hard and dry. So overcooked that one of the pieces of chicken was black on top and hard as a rock. Told server, he apologized and asked if I wanted another salad brought out, but by that point I had already picked through it all and I didnt have the time to wait. Brought the bill with no compensation offered. When I asked he took the bill back and asked permission to give me a discount. Might be okay for pizza or a sandwich, but dont have a salad. If you have the time, just drive to Louies instead! Awesome salads with tender juicy chicken, and many other things there!

Picked up dinner for my parents via take out. Food stayed hot as we travelled to Corning. They loved their food and the prompt, friendly customer service was a plus!
The staff were quite nice and pleasant to chat with. The hors doeuvres were enjoyable, we got the fried calamari (good!) and I forget the other. The dressed hamburger was unremarkable, but ok. I probably should have gone with pasta.
Our go-to NYC style pizza joint for pizza night, but also nice enough as a sit- down restaurant to take Grandma out to on a Sunday. The owners genuine in his roots (Sicily maybe?), and hes always hustling in the kitchen, so you know the foods authentic.
Best Italian food around!
The dinners we had were very good. The homemade meatballs were fantastic. The Italian sausage was too mild for me I think it needed more spices and fennel. Highly recommend.

Very disappointed. What used to be my familys favorite restaurant is no more. We gave our orders at 5 pm. Our drinks came out at a decent time, but the garlic knots didnt come out until well after our salads. At this point our entrees came out intermittently. One person in our party was given the wrong side. When we asked for it to be corrected, we got charged extra for the proper side. A second person in our party waited an hour after her entree was brought out to get her side. A third person in our party didnt get their meal brought to them until around 7 pm. That is 2 hours after we ordered, about an a hour and 15 minutes after the rest of us were served our meals. We eat as a family. That being said, we waited to eat our meals until all meals were served. Needless to say, all meals were cold by the time the last meal was brought out. So without taking a single bite out of our entrees, we asked for to-go boxes, the check and left. We will never be coming back again.

Took my Dad for a Fathers Day dinner...love this place, quiet atmosphere, the food was delicious, prices reasonable, waitress was very pleasant & the best service I seen in a long time at other places.
The parking is limited the main dish that I had was excellent the appetizer was calamari and it came out more like onion rings there with no tentacles. The prices are very high reasonable.
Horrible 1st time experience. Server never to be found. Got a coffee and the one creamer was solid chunk. Food was horrible. Lasagna tasted like cardboard. This was the 1st and last time we will ever go there.
Another great review had our early Christmas get together here. Separate room very efficient waitresses great food. Would recommend anything here

This is my favorite restaurant in town. The food is delicious, and reasonably priced. I eat here several times a month, and have never been disappointed.
Best alfredo ever. However the last time I went and ordered it, the waitress we had repeated my order, but then I got ziti alfredo..is that even a thing?? It got fixed in the end to go but my dinner was ruined that night.
If you go there for a slice to go and they dont have any pizza out they will make one and pull it out before its done just to get you out of there .raw pizza the cheese runs of it when they cut it. I made pizzas for 25yrs thats lazy
Ordered their deluxe burger and fries, medium well. It was perfect! And the burger itself was huge, could not finish it! :-) I totally recommend them!

2022-03-20I paid $17.00 for a shrimp scampi that was maybe like .... A childs size portion i was quite surprised how little was in my order. The food was good but i will never spend that much money there again. And i couldve saved $9.00 by not getting the calamari i ordered there were two different kinds in the box 2 pcs. Of the regular kind of normal fried calamari when you think of fried calamari and then weird calamari-type onion rings Ive never seen before that were disgusting Im not even sure if it was calamari tbh. Not a fan.

2021-11-29The Tiramisu was excellent. I also quite enjoyed the Antipasto. The Italian dressing they use goes great with it. My girlfriend loved the dipping oil for the bread.

2021-08-23After calling to see if there was any seating available and was told after a brief pause that there was a table leaving and would just have to wait a couple mins to be cleaned. We parked, went in and we never got seated after 20 mins and very little communication from anyone. We got up and left and and had a wonderful meal at Giuseppe’s. We wanted to try Pietro, but they clearly cater to their regulars (guy behind counter talking to other customers by name) over new customers. We clearly got the hint and will happily continue to support Giuseppe’s.

2019-07-23We were his best customers. We went there several times a week.I am willing to pay for extra meatsauce. As for me, I always go spaghetti with meatsauce. Whenever Mrs. is cooking, she always gives me way less meatsauce than everyone else. Tonight, I sent my plate back and told the fine waitress to just give me the bill for the salads. I know what to expect but Mrs. gets so stingy on meatsauce. Whats outrageous is, Im willing to pay for extra meatsauce & I even ask for it,...and it was STILL stingy!We dont go there any more. No such thing as meatsauce at Pietros anymor, in my opinion. Last meatsauce we got there looked more like tomatoe sauce. Check out this meatsauce! We asked for extra meatsauce and were willing to pay for it. Instead of meatsauce, it looks more like tomato sauce to me. WHERES THE MEAT?

2021-11-04Once again Nino served an authentic terramanean mediterranean dinner. Pasta Vongula and Mussels were perfect. I asked for salads served last and Adam did not disappoint! Thank to all involved, it was appreciated!

2020-03-15Service was excellent! Thats a huge deal these days. I had a very good experience.Food was great. Salad was fresh and crisp with wonderful house Italian dressing.Table bread was awesome. Still warm and baked perfectly. Both the knots and the load where perfect.I strongly recommend to stop in for a meal if you are given the chance.

2020-02-15Best pizza Ive had in a long time!! Sauce, perfect! Cheese, perfect amount! Topping, perfect amount! Crust, perfect! Phone service, incredibly pleasant! In store customer service, again very pleasant! Even the price was decent!!My new go to spot for pizza in Elmira!!!Update: Had to take away five star rating...ordered meals twice from here, first time stuffed shells were cold and minimal. Had to wait 15 minutes for cheese bread. Second time was even worse. Both meals I ordered this time were not even edible they tasted so bad. Ended up spending $30 on salad (only thing that was kinda decent). Apparently pizza is the only good thing here??
