They have a very caring staff. I have been there approx 12 times this past month for rehab for 1 of my 4 dogs and they are very professional and thorough. My dogs like going and Im very confident in what they tell me my dogs need. Whether it be dental or rehabilitation for bad joints, they know what they are doing.
Wonderful place and the staff is so friendly and really cares about all of the animals in their care. I’ve been bringing my puppy Einstein there since I got him and he loves going into the building and seeing all the people. They really do their best to make sure the animal and their human counterpart are comfortable with every treatment/procedure before administering it. My old dog was terrified of the vet and the one we took him to spent no time in trying to calm him or make him feel better. Pine woods is definitely the best choice for your anima
I only trust my animal family to Doctor Mike and his staff. They honestly care about my pets and I know they do what’s best.I always recommend pinewoods to anyone who has animals. From well visits, surgeries and acupuncture, Dr Mike does it all and does it with love in his heart. A+++
Good but expensive. Kind of too expensive compared to 5 years ago. They lost their personal touch when Dr Mike stop being there full-time the owner of the place now its always some other doctor and you never get to see Dr Mike and that was the reason why we started going there 15 years ago
I have been going to Pinewoods for many years. I always have appointments with Dr. Mike. I also thought he was very good at his chosen profession. I did leave this hospital for several months at one time but that was because of his incompetent staff. There are a couple older mature women who are knowledgeable and professional with whom direct questions do not bother them or take the questions personally. The remainder of his staff are Not knowledgeable and give scripted answers as if they are reading from a note pad. They are immature, completely unprofessional, and take any question you may have as a personal slant against them. The hospital is clean and Dr Mike is a good Veterinarian, however, his inability to hire mature, experienced, adults to interact professionally with his customers leaves much to be desired. I can only hope that in the future Dr Mike will think about hiring an agency to help him acquire a staff that would be worthy of his expertise.
I have been taking my pets there for years and have spent thousands there but ever since they expanded they really dont seem to have any compassion at all. Its all about money now. So needless to say I will be going to a new vetinarian. When they were just a small cute place they used to care. Time to find a caring veterinarian who understands when your dealing with a sick or injured animal. I wont recommend them to any of my friends or family.
I am so grateful to Pinewoods. They are patient centered and prioritize your fur baby, as well as your concerns. During surgery they call with updates, as well as take all your worried calls seriously. They also spoil and love your baby during recocery! The entire staff is very dedicated and loves what they do. I always feel welcomed and heard. Thank you for everything!
A bit pricey but they have taken wonderful care of my dog and cat. They are very good about creating a good atmosphere. My dog loves it there to the point shell drag me to the door and start pawing at it because she gets treats from the tech. My cat seems good with the place as well since she just relaxes on the table.
Dr. Rob is a great veterinarian , really appreciate the way he handles my elderly dog and the bedside manner he displays to the owners. Recommend bringing your pets here for an excellent staff and services. They really adjusted well during COVID with their visits with conference calling from your car.
The staff at Pinewoods are amazing. They provide care and compassion for your animals. The staff are also very compassionate when it comes to making end of life decisions regarding your animal. They offer cremation service and the turnaround time for the ashes to be returned after being sent out is very quick. The clinical staff are nothing less than amazing.
I highly recommend PW!! We have worked with PW for over two years now, for two foster dogs in our care. Sadly, one of the dogs had to undergo humane euthanasia due to medical complications. The entire staff at PW, from the front desk to the technicians and Dr, were all incredibly sympathetic and supportive throughout the evaluation/decision process and the procedure itself. Upon picking up her ashes, we were pleasantly surprised to also receive a paw print impression from our pup.Our other foster dog is very fearful and benefits greatly from Dr. Gerevics patience and exam techniques. We have also attended private training on site at PW with Jessica, owner of The Noble Beast Dog Training (also a technician on staff at PW). Her training methods are entirely positive and yielded amazing results, especially related to dog-dog reactivity, fear, and leash manners.
So this is a mixed review. I changed it from 2 to 4 stars. Previous experiences has left me with a feeling of a sales driven outfit. However as of late, my pup has not been doing so well. He is getting up there in age and we found out he has cancer. While it has been an expensive endevour, I must say they have turned me around as far as their compassion and willingness to accommodate. They have taken me in twice with no notice and no emergency fee. They made it work and genuinely seemed to care. The second time, Dr. Jim had an interview and he set it aside to see my pup. My other vet (the one I was switching to) would not take me at all without an appointment. I guess in short, yes they are pricey but you get what you pay for. I am happy with the care theyve given to my pup.
Staff is very pleasant and thorough! I originally went to have my dog spayed because they were one of the only places in the area that accepted the Friends of Animals certificate. I appreciate this because Im just starting out in my career and was being quoted $400+ other places because of my dogs size. They explained everything and the process was very simple.Since then, Ive taken my two dogs to them for checkups and vaccinations and still get the same thorough explanations and everyone is just as pleasant! Honest staff explains whats necessary, recommended, and optional.
Cant imagine they did this on purpose but they told me that our puppy had parvo and he was going to die if we didnt put him in intensive care for 6 weeks at their hospital in Grand islander wherever it was. Went directly to another vet, turned out he did have some sort of bacterial infection but took an antibiotic for a day and he was fine. Gave two stars because facility was nice and people seemed nice so I have to imagine it was just a mistake but I may seek a second opinion if they tell you your family friend needs surgery or need to be hospitalized, I might get a second opinion.
Had to wait a month to get in they took my deposit The vet wouldn’t take a still sample to tell me if dog had worms I called another vet that could get me in later that week I called to cancel 20 days before appointment they wouldn’t give me my money back never stated it was non refundable I will not recommend to anyone and I will be contacting the attorney general.
We have been to other vets so it is easy to compare. When you have an unexpected medical problem like bloody hot spots, they find a way to fit you into the schedule quickly. When you arrive all staff surround your pet with love. ( except calling him old).lol. The diagnosis and treatment is fully explained and written down for we who have short memories. Even the containers for collecting samples are well designed so you keep it clean. Most medications are ready before you leave and instructions are easy to follow. Acupuncture for pain management is now available in the disease decorated room...over the top!
Over the years, Dr. Mike and his group have taken care of our 3 cats and 2 dogs. The doctors are knowledgeable and dont over-treat. The staff is friendly, professional, and everyone there clearly loves the animals under their care. Dr. Mike took care of our chocolate lab Sadie for her entire life, and I think he might have loved her as much as we do. We have used the Pine Woods kennel, and our dogs loved it. The group is even great with end-of-life (my wife and I held our two sibling cats who were in kidney failure as two docs caringly euthanized them and patiently left us time alone to say goodbye). As you might guess, we love Pine Woods!
Brought in healthy 6 year old pug for teeth cleaning and she passed away during the procedure with no known reasoning as to what happened. As if that was not enough, after EXPLICIT instructions to please return the dog’s blanket when we picked up her ashes, they instead took it upon themselves to have her cremated with the blanket, WITHOUT asking for permission. I would not recommend going to this vet, especially if you want the top care and consideration for your pet and yourself. This has caused great devastation for our family.
I’ve been bringing my pembroke welsh corgi here since he was 3 months old. This hospital is very friendly, very deceiving as well. If you choose this hospital, expect to pay extremely premium prices for services any other vet will likely give you. They provided a single pill each month tick, heartgard, compared to what these pills are really worth online and other vets, I overpaid month after month here. The breaking point I had with this vet is during the neutering process. Bloodwork had to be done twice, the first time due to my dog being “overly aggressive” and the vet techs not being able to safely draw blood while my 15 pound puppy at the time was muzzled in a back room, at which point they offered me their trainer to work with which was 20$ a session and two pills. Brought my pup back a week later just with the two pills, they kept us in the room for his blood draw and he was just fine, took it like a champ. Schedule the neuter, was never given an estimate. Kept all my pups receipts and visits to this vet and there was never an estimate for his neuter given. All I was given was a puppy/kitten estimated cost. I called for the estimate today just to see exactly how much we would be paying so we’re not too far over budget, and the receptionist Jill tells me that my 22 pound puppy will be around 475 dollars for his neuter. No explanation given as to why the price is so high for a 22 pound dog, instead I was talked down to and told if money is an issue we should look into different options because they no longer offer some care plan that we in the past would have been able to use. This place has taken advantage of me and my partner for HUNDREDS of dollars, almost 200 of which is from their 54$ mandatory waste fee for every appointment, but a 475 dollar neuter estimate for a dog breed, corgis that typically don’t exceed more then 35 pounds is outrageous. If you’re looking for smiling and friendly faces to throw your money at, this is the place.
Called to set up an appointment for my dog who has been a patient for 5 years, she has been limping and not bearing weight on her back leg for a few days, I spoke to Kim who is apparently a manager and was extremely rude and unprofessional she stated that they could get me in for an emergency appointment the following day at 3:15 as soon as I accepted she said they wouldnt be able to do the Xrays needed at the appointment to see what the actual problem is because xrays require sedation and the doctor leaves at 4pm (even though they are open until 5pm.) Im unsure why they would advise she needs to be sedated for this before even attempting an xray. They did offer ONE early morning emergency appointment the next day which unfortunately I couldnt do last minute for work. She stated they wouldnt be able to get her in for a scheduled appointment until August but I could call every morning to see if they had a cancellation for a morning appointment to do the Xrays. On the contrary to what the owners response is they did NOT offer viable solution, They wouldnt schedule an emergency appointment for even the following Monday even though they had a slot for such appointments, I would have to call that morning to see if its still available, they wernt concerned at all about my dogs well being or safety, just the fact that they make it out by 3:59. She was rude and argumentative throughout the entire conversation and I eventually had to end the call because she was blantantly talking over me and being super confrontational which is the last thing that is needed when a beloved pet is having a medical issue. I already found another vets office with more caring staff that isnt just concerned with money and punching out on time... pine woods surgery center and the actual vets in the office have always been great but a couple of the staff members in the vets office are down right nasty and rude.
The front desk staff and vet staff are very personable and professional. I have a feline with a face only a mother could love (lol). She turns hissy, swatty and difficult in such situations and with the right one-off meds and a Thundershirt (Look it up! Excellent product.) was able to get her up to date on her shots and get her first yearly exam in. Very convenient location too.
One of the most professional veterinary clinics around. The staff is extremely caring and the majority of the doctors treat your pet as if it were their own. Like all hospitals though they have their own individual bedside manner, so there is no reason to pass judgement on the whole place. We will gladly bring our fur babies in while we live near by.
This place is AMAZING. My dog has sever anxiety and they accommodated so perfectly. The staff is so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Cannot recommend this place enough. I went to 2 other animal hospitals for an issue my dog had and they couldnt help. This place fixed the issue immediately. THANK YOU
First time here. Had to unexpectedly drop off my recently passed beloved kitty. The staff, she was very empathetic and gentle. A few days later, I received a sympathy card with a kind note. A week later, I picked up the paw print and hair clipping that was offered free with the public cremation. Again, very empathetic. I thank them for making things a little better.
I absolutely love Pine Woods. They have taken such great care of my pets. They helped my one dog get over mange after I adopted him, they provided excellent quality of life for my dog with cancer, and they helped another dog beat life threatening Inflammatory Bowel Disease and bouts of pancreatitis. The doctors are incredibly caring, and really know what theyre doing. I cannot thank them enough for what theyve done for my puppy family. :)
I have been going here for years and still continue to (dont ask why) ... It is even worse now because of Covid you are unable to go in... This place is solely about money and nothing more. They will upsell you on anything and the second you start asking questions, they will feed you bogus explanations. Probably going to switch once my dogs shots are done for this year.
Today I arrived at 7:46 for an 8:00 appointment. I was told I was there the wrong day... I apologized they said don’t worry about it we can take you now. They said you may need to wait a few minutes... they took me within 5 minutes and we were out of there a few minutes after 8:00. Amazing customer service and they truly love dogs!! Thanks Pinewoods!
Our mini-dachshund developed terrible back issues to the point that he could no longer walk. We were told by our previous vet that surgery was the only option to restore his movement and since he was less than 4 years old at the time we shelled out the money for the procedure. After 2 months of rehab we were told by our previous vet that he would never walk again and we should start thinking about putting him down. We took him to Pine Woods and Dr. Mike told us he would like to try acupuncture treatments in an attempt to restore his mobility. I was skeptical but after 2 treatments he had regained bladder/bowel control and after 4 he was walking again! Its now 4 years later and our dog is still walking/running/playing (albeit a little more sloppy than he was before the back issues). On occasion we notice he starts to drag his hind legs so we bring him in for a tune up and we good to go for another 8-9 months. Great people, great doctors, great facility. They saved our dogs life, I just wish we had gone there before we had paid for the surgery.
Most recent visit:$389 to euthanize 10# senior cat + appointment fee. They charge for everything ($40 to place IV catheter, biohaz disposal fee, cremation was only option ($190) they wouldnt let me take my furbaby home and bury her myself). They also demanded payment up front (despite Kittys active seizing, difficulty breathing, kidney/liver failure and intermittent comatose state), instead of settling up after. That made me very upset.Plan on spending no less than $150 every time you walk in the door and DONT fall for their food they sell, they get kickbacks to sell it.Not only am I broken-hearted, but, I had to decimate my food budget to ease Scrambles suffering.
I loved my cat Roxy very much. When she initially was given to me from a friend, I took her to Pine Woods. They provided good care. It is true that the previous owner did not take her to the vet except once as a kitten and fed the cat a lot of human food. I was blessed to have Roxy until December of 2014 ( she was mine for five years) when I had her put to sleep at another clinic that was open 24/7. Roxy had been diagnosed with kidney disease around 2013.. After the diagnosis I kept taking her back to Pine Woods, with various symptom. Each time I was given a different vet to see and a different approach toward testing or potential treatments. They did not recommend medication for the kidney disease. I was exhausted at times, due to my employment in the social work / ministry field and Roxy becoming ill.. I could not believe that it was never the same vet during the period of months to follow. Were talking of around 6 or more visits, They never truly treated her for the kidney disease, When I finally had to get her to emergency care, the disease had progressed quickly. I was told that had Roxy been given medication at the onset, she would have had a better quality of life in the months she was ill and could have lived much longer or even survived. I cried like a baby when I realized that it was too late and too much money had already been spent without the proper treatment. Now there was no certainty that Roxy would be better, or for any significant period of time. Just days before Christmas, in a place foreign to us both, I held her in my arms and said goodbye. I now go to the clinic that compassionately helped Roxy to die. In May 2015,. I obtained a ten year old fur baby that came to me from a rescue shelter. She literally picked me out as her mommy and needed a forever home. She is given great care in spite of a disability and will be with me for a long time. I truly wish I did not have to write this.
I don’t know how to thank you. As my husband and I had to go through one of the toughest times in our lives you all made us feel as if we were one of your family. My beautiful baby Smokey was very sick almost overnight and we didn’t know what to do. Within the course of a week you all helped us understand what was happening to her. As she quickly declined you helped us try to find out what was going on and still prepared us for the worst. You all did this with such grace and professionalism that I can’t imagen myself every wanting anyone but your staff to care for my animals. The whole staff deserves our thanks and gratitude, but I do have a few people I would like to send out a special thank you to;To Dr. Shileyn - I cannot say enough about how you balance your professionalism and empathy. You are truly made for this job. I don’t know what I would have done if I didn’t have your strength through this time.To Marissa and Julie - for helping us as soon as we walked in with an emergency euthanasia the night before her scheduled appointment. Having you walk us through things really gave us the opportunity to spend the last moments with our baby without having to worry about anything but her.To Dr. Beca - for knowing exactly how to comfort us and Smokey in her last moments. The way you said “Go to sleep for me know baby. Your pain will be gone soon, and you will have a buffet of cat food and you can eat all you want.” Was exactly what we all needed to hear.To my best friend Stephanie – I am very lucky to have someone like you in my life. Your kind words, hugs and ability to juggle our hardest moment into your schedule is something I can’t put into words. I know the staff at Pinewoods can agree with me in saying you are an amazing person and vet tech.Thank you all again for everything you have done for us and I will be recommending you to everyone that will listen to me.With deep love and appreciation,The Knapp Family
Very expensive and not willing to help save my dogs life. All they cared about was the money. I wanted to make payment arrangement for services because I am disabled, but they refused. All they wanted me to do was sign up for a credit card in which they get a kick back from!! Taking all my 4 pets and going somewhere else.
Recently took my dog in bc she was feeling ill and throwing up for two days ..... everyone at pinewoods is very very nice and helpful. Yes they are kind of expensive, but they always give you options.... I personally would rather be safe then sorry a week later and have peace of mind. Saw a new doc this time and she was awesome....(dr. Rego). Only ever had one bad experience with one of the dr their.... kinda feel like she is a saleswoman, prob the same dr that everyone else is talking about in other reviews. She was very nice and knowledgeable though. I will be asking for dr mike or dr rego, as I feel they both have done an excellent job!!!
I’ve brought my dog to Pinewoods for several years they did charge a lot, butrecently they really upped the ante . I brought my dog and who was sick twice after paying $500 for God knows what he still sick and couldn’t even get an appointment ..they wouldn’t squeeze me in... told me they were going to charge me an emergency fee !!!wouldn’t let me speak to a doctor ! ..Spoke to one ditzy receptionist after the next...Decided to go somewhere else ...called to get my records transferred , spoke with Wanda or Julie or one of the receptionist whotold me I would have to fill out a form to do this which she would email me though...she never emailed it to me... meanwhile my dog is throwing up bile has diarrhea and peeing on my floor and they’re giving me a hard time ...Had to call again wondering where that email was and the woman on the phone said nothing about sending me a form she said she would fax The records over to Amclare ... when I got to Amclare Later that day they still had not faxed my dogs records over Incompetent uncaring cold staff,,, thanks for dropping the ball pinewoods... I think you got a little too big and you’re charging a little too much money now .... I when I express my unhappiness to the receptionist she could’ve cared less !!!
Since they have added Regis Wojtowicz-Kowalski as their groomer I am so thrilled. Regis is kind, caring and doesnt make me feel like I am a bother when I ask questions.. My Missy loves her and comes prancing out knowing how cute she looks. I know that Regis has taken numerous grooming classes at her own expense and I appreciate her professionalism and kindness. She came highly reccommended and I think the world of her and her work. I have had dogs for over 40 years and she is the best groomer I have ever had.
Where do I begin . My dog had cruciate surgery at my vet not pinewoods I was 5 weeks in from when he had surgery he was doing great like he never had a problem decided it would be a good idea to start therapy yea well maybe if I hadnt gone here.. lets just say my dog didnt make it past the consultation the doc literally wrenched cranked and pulled on my dogs 5 week fresh out of surgery leg like it wasnt still healing (completely incompetent doc) and he walked out the office on 3 legs his knee swelled like a balloon took him back there the next morning and they had the nerve to charge me 500 dollars for an xray and antibiotics and tell me it wasnt her fault it was probably an infection to follow up with my vet...WRONG .. Im not a vet but I also have commen sense. Walked in great on 4 legs left on 3 its now a week later my dogs leg is still swallon and hes still hoping in 3 legs took him to my vet and was told it was over extended and used in to fast of a manner and inflammation rushed to the site like a sprain that you use to early and re injury.. than had the nerve to call me 2 days later and tell me they made a mistake and they undercharged me by 45 dollars and would take me to small claims if not paid and I owe them more money lol .. this place is an absolute joke get ready to be sold on everything they offer as well everything besides what your pet actually needs. PICK A DIFF VET Trust me you will be glad you did
I jave been hoing thwre for along time with my pwt and I always thought they were good and truely cared about the animals untill recently!.although they did send me a condolence card a few days days afterwards I would of rathered their compaasion if they took the time to help my family member instead because they didnt care enough to help him when he needed them and he suffered longer then he had to, Im very disappointed in them and how they handled an emegancy situation I called the office very up upset because my dog was ill and asked do bring him in, the first girl wanda was very cold and uncaring over the phone said they couldnt they had no openings keep in mind it was a wed and they were opened untill 8pm also I explained that it was an emergancy she said to bring him in the morning or if he got worse to take him to northtowns on nf blvd instead of fitting him.I called back not even half hour later and got another girl she was understanding and tried to help,I explained he was worse could they please see him but she was tild to tell me no by the first office office staff to tell me no..very unprofessional when this animal needed to be seen asap all they did was make him suffer longer then he needed to!So I had to take him to the emegancy one they recomended which all they cared about was the money upfront which was a very high amount before they even helped or knew what was wrong with this poor animal.Again very cold and unprofessional that they rather a animal in need to suffer then to help him Im Not sure if pinewoods and northtowns get a cut by sending animals there or not but my dog suffered unessarry because of humans that say they care about your pets! pinewoods office would not even make the time to assess him and help him, instead they wasted precious time sending him to norttowns who only cared about how much money they could get from a grieving family knowing he was dieng anyway!

2022-02-14Amazing staff & physical therapy program! My Chiweenie has IVDD so pt is really great for helping to strengthen the other limbs that she overcompensates with. I especially love seeing her in action for the underwater treadmill. Ive been very happy with our experience & would def recommend them!

2022-06-09I made an appointment for my cat. I was charged a $67 deposit. Thats no biggie, but I had to cancel. I called 5 days before my appointment and gave plenty of notice about not being able to show up and they would not return my deposit. I was not told it was a non refundable deposit. If thats the case they should tell you its non refundable before they take your money. I was wanting to go back at a different time but after not getting my deposit back Ill just find a different vet. Its a big red flag that probably means theyll rip me off in other ways if i had went. God forbid you have an emergency and you have to cancel. What a greedy place

2022-07-23Pine Woods Animal Hospital has some of the most honest, diligent and caring staff in the area. When I told them my cat was losing function of her hindlegs, minutes later the vet told me they want me in for X-rays that very day. They told me what was wrong, prescribed the right medication, taught me how to take care of my injured cat including how to hold her, how to apply physical therapy, offered acupuncture. They call me once or twice a week to check on her condition, they were good about answering questions within a day or two. Theres hope for my cat because they didnt jump straight to: she needs to be put down. The price of the examinations, X-rays and medication so far without pet insurance is around $800. Ouch yes, but in comparison to other vets for the situation we are facing, this is understandable.

2022-05-06UPDATE TO OWNER YOUR STAFF LIES, MY HUSBAND WAS GIVEN 1 EARLIER APPOINTMENT AND TOLD TO GO TO ED, HE ASKED TO SCHEDULE WAS TOLD TO GO TO ED. I ASKED THE NEXT MORNING IF I COULD COME IN OR SCHEDULE AND WAS TOLD NO THERE ARE NO APPOINTMENTS LEFT THEY ALL FILLED UP IN 3 MINUTES. I WAS THEN TOLD TO GO TO ED. I SAID NO, AMAZINGLY THERE WERE PKENTY IF VISITS IN THE AFTERNOON. AS I WAS SEEN BY A DECENT VET BUT A MISERABLE TECH. If this review was of Dr Mike I would give it 5 stars but Im reviewing his staff that treated a life long customer like garbage, berated me, harassed me, made my one half day off miserable, treated me like garbage and made me make multiple trips all while telling me they had no appointments. The staff is brutal rude and immature. Only the front desk staff deserve recognition and Dr. Mike. I have been a Life long customers at pinewoods. After my experience on Thursday - Saturday, Im looking for a new vet. There have been 4 messages I left for Dr Mike but as of Saturday only one had been entered. If you go here and dont hand your pet to Dr Mike.....run! This office is disrespectful and they would rather have you loose your job or spend 1,000s at an Ed for a simple visit. Absolutely no care or empathy by anyone but Dr Mike. Please consider some new staff especially your techs, particularly the one that made fun of me on Saturday to my face in the office. Shame on you.

2022-04-02My sisters cat had suddenly collapsed, and even though he wasnt their patient, they brought him in and did a very rapid assessment. Unfortunately, there was nothing to be done as he had passed away on the way to their office. The compassion and care they gave to my sister was amazing. They allowed her to stay with him as long as she needed, and allowed the process of saying the final goodbyes to play out how she needed it to. It was a heart breaking situation that was handled with the utmost kindness. We greatly appreciate how they handled the situation and the emotions that followed. Thank you for everything you did for my sister that day.

2022-05-12This place prescribed my cat special food that he will die if he does not eat, or so says pinewoods and there crew. However upon writing a bad review they closed my account and made false documentation. I purchased 12 days of food and they will not write a script for the food he needs in order to survive. He needs one month of urinary formula food till he sees his new vet but pinewoods would rather see him die than write a script that they recommended. Kind of odd that a Vet wants an animal to suffer from what they said is the most painful way to die

2021-09-15This is not the animal hospital it once was. I have brought my dogs to this facility for many years and have been happy with the care my dogs have received until the past year. My puppy was given an unnecessary rabies vaccine because the staff did not review her history from the breeder! When I questioned them, they assured me that there would be no harm. I figured the extra stress from Covid might be to blame. Today, I arrived at 8:01 and called in for my dogs 8 am appointment. After being on hold for 20 minutes, I was nastily told that since we were so late, the doctor had taken another patient but she would try to work us in. Already unhappy, I waited another 20 minutes until a tech came to pick up another dog who had arrived only 10 minutes earlier. I flagged her down, she went in to tell someone and another person, a very nice tech came to try to explain. She asked if I would take the Saturday appointment offered (no one offered it). An hour and a half had elapsed with no appointment, no explanation, no apology (except for the blameless tech who was the only person to try to understand). Meanwhile, my poor dog sat on the front seat waiting for help. Terrible management, terrible customer service, no understanding of the needs of both pet and human customers. I am looking for a new practice.

2019-10-20This vet is certified for fearful animals and my Molly is definitely. My old vet was gentle with her but Dr. Rob and his staff went above and beyond! Would recommend them to any of my friends.
