Overall, Pinilla Studios provides a good product as long as you negotiate a good price. For $2,500 I got photography, pictures (picture books, big prints, thank you cards, DVD, etc.), and DJ/party light services.The photographer was a bit socially inept, but he was capable. The DJ was good at working the crowd, but he ignored virtually all of my genre requests. (The crowd wanted reggae and soca, so thats what they got.) The emcee was also good at making crowd get going.It took around six months to get the rest of the pictures. When my wife called at around the four month point they were very rude to her.You get what you pay for in a way, but it is a very good value.
They are amazing and so blessed to have met Johana. I was never rushed or felt pushed in doing business with them. She explained everything. She LISTENED to my concerns and worked with me. Thank you Johana and Mr. Pinilla for making my day come true. Their packages are affordable. Woot woot! Especially for a wedding. So far so good...now I cant wait for our big day and see our final product.
You can relax and know youll have great music with a staff you can count on to professionally make your wedding go exactly as planned. That was important to us. And getting that for a reasonable price is what I think is important to everybody.
We have been trying to contact Pinilla Studios for about 2 weeks with no response. We travelled to their offices only to find they had closed. We have no guidance about whether or not they refunding our money or if they have relocated. Our event is in two months.
I used Pinilla Studios for my Sweet 16 and they were ok..This is when they were in Forest Hills. About 1-2 months ago i dropped in, talked to a VERY NICE person. She was very helpful and nice and we agreed on an arrangement but did not sign anything just in case because i needed to talk to my fiance first..She put in a memo to call me on Tuesday to confirm the contract.... So the tuesday comes and she never calls..Might be busy i understand.. So i decided to call. The woman who answers VERY UNPROFESSIONAL..i was talking to her about my visit there and wanted to go over the contract..She didnt even bother looking up my contract she waited until I told her... me: i have a sampled contract, do you guys have it? HER: well i have to go look up your contract..you shouldve looked it up once i called!!!! So this kind of scared me to sign with them..on the other hand the person dealing with me when i visited was very nice but the professionalism was totally off with this woman who answered the phone... Then they called me AT LEAST 3-5 times for 3 weeks...................... Really??? I decided not to book with them..They were offering GREAT and CHEAP prices.. but i was not willing to risk it... Be careful also once you give your information to your wedding place..This place especially will harass you.. i dont even call it trying to make business with you..because they call WAY TOO MANY TIMES..
They were absolutely amazing. The people are so nice and welcome you. I suggest for anyone who is having any type of party to come here. I guarantee you will never regret this. As well as, the photos were beyond amazing and its so hard to choose when they all look perfect.
Everyone at my wedding love the photographer from Pinilla. So professional, friendly, creative and funny. Excellent job!!

I made a contract with them for my daughters 15th birthday due to pandemic reasons, it was canceled, in the month of May of this year I called Pinillas to tell them that if we are going to have a 16-year party in July for my daughter and they answered that no there was a problem but it was all a lie when I went to his office they were closed. Until today they do not answer the call or say if they are going to make a refund at all.That is unprofessional, you should face the problem face the problem before your customers. Staying with so much money will only bring you misfortune.

2015-11-12Choosing Pinilla Studios to capture our wedding day was one of the best decisions we have ever made. We got a bundle package with Pinilla Studios for Photo, Video, and DJ. The photographer did an amazing job, he was so professional, fun, creative, calm, and collective. He was able to work wonders in the small window of time we had to take pictures before our ceremony and was able to direct such a big bridal party with ease. He was simply talented and was a delight to work with. We also had a videographer that did an excellent job. He worked so well with the photographer that you did not even notice he was there. And let me mention the DJ and percussionist, they rocked the house! They really kept the party going at all times, there was not one time our dance floor was empty, we even had guests dancing while dinner was served. We got so many compliments from our guest of how much fun and good the music was. We cannot recommend Pinilla Studios services enough, we are so grateful they were able to make our special day so magical!

2013-08-06I really wanted Pinilla Studios to come through for my brothers wedding, and they did, big time! Ive been to so many weddings where the crowds bummed out over the DJ playing everything but the kitchen sink, but this DJ had the choice soul cuts to keep the party going. My grandfather was dancing and thats a sight I though Id never see. The photographer was courteous and his shots came out great. Definitely recommended.

2015-09-04I used Pinillas DJ, Photography and Videography services and all were great! The DJ was great and keep the crowd moving, everyone had a great time. My photographer was awesome, got some candid shots and typical wedding shots. Loved the pictures. My Videography was added last minute by my Husband as a surprise and he was fantastic. My wedding video is great, my family loved watching it over and over. I would highly recommend Pinilla, they did a wonderful job!

2013-10-12I wanted to research companies that would create special moments through photography for an aunts 20th anniversary party. I met with the photographer and told him my ideas on how to make the moments sincere and special. He listened attentively and gave great advice. He made sure to get to know my Aunt and Uncle and inform them of his ideas and incorporating it into his own. After receiving the photography, everyone was impressed and almost to tears. I will definitely be using Pinilla Studios for my own wedding someday!

2013-08-29When my parents were celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary and my grandparents their 50th, I knew we needed to do something special. Pinilla Studios successfully completed 2 photo shoots with both of the couples and our family to create lasting impressions we will never forget. The photographer was entertaining and friendly despite how difficult it can be to get my family to listen. :) The end result were amazing. Im forever indebted to Pinilla Studios and their staff for helping to make two special events even more special!

2014-10-06I highly recommend PINILLA STUDIOS for any wedding needs. They over delivered in absolutely everything. From the start, Tammy was very easy to work with. We appreciated her dilligent work ethic. Leading up to the wedding, I felt at ease knowing that Tammy and team were going to come through. And they sure did! The day of my wedding was simply flawless. The photographer day of was funny and charasmatic. A couple of months later when I received my album, it was simply amazing. The team did a fantastic job in designing the layout. Furthermore, during my visits to Pinilla, the team was always so gracious. 2013-08-02I caught an old co-workers anniversary function a couple of weeks agoover by the Socrates Sculpture Park and took note of theprofessionalism exuded by the photographer by Pinilla Studios.It wasnt easy to get about 20 people together and composed fora series of photographs without getting frustrated, but he did itwith grace and some engaging humor. When I found out that thesefolks hired the DJ as well for the event from Pinilla, I found it remarkable.The DJ was in tune with the crowd, and got everyone moving! It saysa lot that this company is dedicated to making sure the events theydo are extra enjoyable and memorable thanks to their services playinga part.

2015-05-26I booked with Pinilla for our wedding on 5/3/15. We used the photography and DJ. We loved our experience with them from start to finsih. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The Dj we had was Chris and he was amazing. Everybody raved about him for weeks after. Our Photographer Chris was great. I would definently refer this company

2013-04-27Overall I think they did a beautiful job! I needed them for pictures for my sweet 16 and every picture was perfect. My photographer Donald was very patient and he was amazing. One picture came out so nice of me that my hall (Astoria World Manor) decided to put it up in the bridal room. Im very pleased with all my pictures and the overall quality.

2016-04-19I don’t usually write reviews, but I’ll give credit where credit is due. I was a guest in my friend’s wedding on a Sunday April 3rd, 2016 in Queens, NY and there was a Dominican lady, her name is JANIRA . I just wanted to say that she represented Pinilla Studios really well. She did an excellent job and was able to manage things that were not planned in a professional way. I was really impressed by her impeccable diction in English and Spanish where she combined her enthusiasm, charisma in a professional way to entertain us that went really well with the music the entire night. I was really pleased to know a person from your agency like Janira and will definitely recommend Pinilla Studios in a future.
