Friendly clean and fairly priced. Hampered only by the very limited selection of alcohol. More for food than drink.That said, a seat at the small bar space on Sunday provides a view on 3-4 games if youre there for NFL football. And the bar staff is very good.
Good food, Chicken Pot pie and Ribs were great, Drinks were a bit limited but overall an enjoyable time.
That was a beefy beef burger. Crust on the Zucchini sticks was tasty. Better than average pub fare.
Place is depressing. Everything is painted black and just feels so gloomy. Burger was mediocre definitely prefer skinflints. Wings were very good. Tap beer selection was not much. Bar doesn’t have much going for it other than it’s regulars. I’m from the neighborhood and haven’t bothered stepping in here for over 10 years and can definitely wait another 10. Too many great options; kettle black for wings and skinflints for burgers to waste my time and money here.
I cannot say enough about this place. Food is always great staff very friendly. Specials are the way to go a different one each night. $5 wings are an incredible deal on Tuesday or Thursday cant remember which. $8 burgers Monday and $21 for a 20 oz ribeye including sides and salad on Wednesday. Go here and you will not be disappointed.
My family eats here at least once a week!Their steaks are as good if not better than any fancy steakhouse Ive ever been to.Their burgers wings and ribs are out of this world.The only thing better than the food here is the service.They treat everyone like family!
I had a wonderful time. I had fried shrimp. It was the best I very had! Everyone was great.The guys were pure gentlemen.I would go back again.and again. Very much recomme this place
Love this place! Ive been coming to this spot since way back in 1995 when it was called Circles. Even better now. The area developed exactly like I thought it would.

Foods always on point... great bar food and the wings are WOW! obviously there’s tons of options in Bay Ridge but Pipins is our go to always! Staff is friendly and attentive, they have all the games on and its a great neighborhood crowd.
Biggest, meatiest wings Ive ever had at a bar. Great selection of burgers always cooked perfectly. Steaks available as well. Friendly staff: most have been there over 10 yrs. Great place to watch the game, over 15 TVs. This is a Bay Ridge gem!!
Ive passed by here for years and finally tried it. And it was amazing. Great selection of beer and the burgers are one of the best Ive ever had. Gaelic Burger. You wont be sorry.

One AMAZING buger, cooked perfectly. Delicious bun. Fries could be better, but the beef makes up for them. Place has a homey feel and feels a like Cheers fom the old sitcom.
Ive eaten here once or twice before, wasnt too thrilled with the food. Had a burger tody and it was pretty good. Better than the last one I had. A good place to eat for a quick bite or lunch or dinner. Im sure it gets crowded at night because of the bar scene. Overall, Id go back to eat again.
Friendly Bar with food and brunch plus daily lunch menus. I preferred their original location. They moved here to new address at 91st Street 3rd Avenue Im in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. Very clean and open late. It is a full-service bar and Restaurant. I would have to admit the atmosphere is appropriate for bringing a date. You will generally be satisfied. Waiter service
Not as welcoming as the ole Pipin restaurant. However our server was very cordial in helping us to remember how it was like in the good old days.By the way, the hamburgers are just as good😊
Last of the neighborhood pubs.. always a familiar face especially from the past an the ribeye steak on Tuesday an Thursday are legendary...
Food portions are awesome, the drinks are even better, the owners are cool guys.. BUT! You have to like really have to ... try the pretzel with some cheese... thank me later

Seating is available at tables at the rear, at the bar or comfortable high boys across from the bar. Service is quick and friendly. In a rush before heading to a service, I had the zucchini sticks which came with a really delicious horseradish. Definitely try those and wash it down with one of the domestic brews.

Week ago, sat at a table, got 2 orders of wings and waters. Total came out to just under $20... Tried to pay with card and they said No, theres a $20 card minimum lol yeah. So we had to use their ATM there which charged $3.00. Its almost like the ATM ate the servers tip. Wings were real good tho.

First off burgers are amazing. Other than that the workers are super quick do not waste any time that does not need to be wasted and they make sure tou jave a great time.
Always a pleasure to come to Pipins. The burgers are the best, the saloon and the antipasta are my favorites. The waiters are very friendly and make you feel at home. Kinda loud sometimes but hey, its a pub.
Best honey fried chicken in Bay ridge. Meal comes with salad, potato and vegetables for $15.Staff is amazing, service is fantastic, environment is totally comfortable.

PLEASE find seating for ones and twos..I was seated in a corner and promised better seating but then was told they only have seating for four people.Meanwhile there were couples and managers rotating at bar tables.Please make other seating...

Cozy Local spot in Bay Ridge, decent bar food in a comfortable environment. Good for indoor dining and luncheon. Come amd watch some sports and take advantage of their happy hour.

Walked in on a Monday, and was greatful to be let in 15 early (as I had knee replacement) thankful for the staff and $8.00 burgers were the icing on the cake. Highly reccomended.

This was a nice, old-fashioned Irish pub, but they added so many TV screens and raised the music volume to the point that you dont realize how loud it was till you leave, and your ears are ringing and youre hoarse from shouting. No longer a place to drink, eat, and talk.

2022-03-11My first time here and I absolutely loved it. I had the fish and chips but there were so many other things I wanted to try everything passing by looked amazing. Will definitely be back. David was awesome!

2022-05-14I’ve ordered takeout from Pipins in the past and never had a bad experience ……until now.A few nights ago I ordered a half order of BBQ baby back ribs & 2 cheeseburgers for myself & 2 friends.The baby back ribs were dry and not tender. The cheeseburgers, both ordered medium rare, were both medium to almost well done.One order of French fries were good — the other order had a total of 10 fries. Half were very small. Unbelievable!!The bill came out to $50 —- I would think they’d be able to throw in more fries than just 10.Very disappointed and won’t order again.

2022-04-09Weve been coming to Pipins since they were at their old location. But the staff is the same and friendly as always and food is great. Now, as a reviewer I will admit Im a bit limited here as when my mom and I go we get the same thing:- Potato Skins - THE BOMB! LOVE THESE SO MUCH!- French Onion Soup - Its fine, it could be better but its not bad. I enjoy it and keep getting it after all.- Ribs - Oh Lord!!! Eat these and go to Heaven. Bon appetit my friends! Full rack, split it with a person and enjoy the mashed potatoes and salad with it! So damn good.- Drinks - if youre in the mood for a certain kind of drink, the waiters/waitresses will set you up with what youre looking for and you will like it.Every time I go I think today Ill try the burgers because I always see everyone else order this but then I realize... The above is my happy place so Im sharing it with all you :)

2020-02-12The food was absolutely delicious! I didn’t even get a chance to snap a pic of the french onion soup before I devoured it, haha! The service was exceptional. Brid, our server, treated us like family and checked on us so often, I felt like she was my mother. The food came out quickly even on a busy saturday night. Definitely coming back for their specials, going to make it a regular!
