Pita Pan in other cities:
Genuinely disappointed. Ordered a fattoush salad with lamb shawarma on top, and received 4 small pieces of lamb for the additional price. Fattoush was fresh, but the meat was scarce, cold, and dry and the pita was also hard and did not seem fresh. Considering the great reviews Ive heard, I was disappointed
No the best shawarma in the neighborhood. The pita bread I too slim. It doesn’t even look and taste like Pita bread. It looks more like a Mexican tortilla. The shawarma is no too bad, just the bread is bad. Also, the prices don’t include the taxes. I did pay 10% on taxes. They even didn’t give me a receive
Very very disappointed with the service. No one had a mask on. I was standing there paid no attention. The guys was playing on there phone. I always order a gyro and ask to cut it in half didn’t know if was a crime. They guy refused and try to talk me down about cutting it in half he became very very disrespectful ask to put sauce he took it upon his self to put something different. When I returned and complained about the gyro he laughed as if it was a joke. Won’t be going back there ever again until they get better service.
A great place, delicious food and fantastic friendly staff. There is tons of healthy choices and vegetarian option plus of course the meat lovers. I love Shawarma and kofta kebab, My wife is gluten-free so that is the best place with the most choices that she always pick Park Slope. Highly recommended
I enjoyed my falafels - crispy and flavorful. Humus, though too much on a plate, was great. I wish salad was better - one piece of mushroom, a little bit of romaine lettuce and carrots, and lots of onion. I had to remind the cashier the price of my dish, since he wanted to charge more. Overall, I am satisfied with my choice of a place for my lunch.
First time trying this place. I used it as lunch delivery. I got the taboulah, tuna salad, and hummus lunch special. The hummus was excellent (be prepared it is a little bit spicy). Tuna salad was okay-ish I guess. The taboulah was very good as well. Only complaint is that the pita they gave me was tiny, like 5 inch diameter tiny. I also ordered rice pudding for dessert. This is really where the stars were lost. The rice was a bit undercooked and a couple pieces could be described as crunchy. It really would have been the winner cause the taste was pretty good but the rice was definitely undercooked. So essentially, they have the classics down and some kinks to work out. Will give this place another try, maybe next time Ill do a proper sit-down.
Great place for lunch in the nabe, lunch special is 9 bucks and their chicken shawarma is delicious and fresh. Pro tip, I found out by accident: if you get the shawarma/fries combo, let the stuff sit for at least 30 mins before eating. The grease from the shawarma will seep into the fries to delish effect. One Star off because they charge me extra for over a small amount of tahini and hot sauce. Cmon guys!
The food is ok,but the service sucks. Why can they treat everyone equally? We all are spending the same money.I am a person of color and I felt inferior the way they skipped over me to the Caucasian lady behind me twice. The fist time for her to look at the menu and then to take her order. Are you serious? I had to get snappy with them. I wouldn’t be ordering from this joint anymore because clearly they have some racist behavior going on in this establishment. The staff is persons of color also so I’m confused.
Ordered two kafta kabob sandwiches for me and my girlfriend ask for xxtra tahini sauceAnd an order of grape leaves went to prospect Park to have a picnicVery little to no tahini sauce and the meat was a Sandy text very disappointedWent back and told themBut they should be ashamed to charge someone $25 for two sandwiches that would dry from the beginning to the endThey gave me absolutely no response bad customer service and bad foodI guess it was saving the tahini sauce for after the pandemicTrust me its no King falafel.
The tall guy in there is so rude ,I picked up my food to go take it to my table and he telling out pay now pay now I tell him can I please just put the food down and get my wallet . He came over grab the food and take it away . Nope I would not recommend pita pan nasty Manager
I came into this spot because claims to be a fresh Juicery however instead of making me a fresh made juice they used canned pineapple juice, only Juiced my Ginger, then Blended the rest of the ingredients. when I proclaimed that I wanted to juice the staff member replied that it takes too many greens to make juice. SMH then why call yourself a fresh juicery? Also half the of the cup was foam.
So salty I couldnt eat it. So I basically tossed 13 bucks down the garbage disposal on inedible food I could have gotten off a truck for half the price and twenty times the quality. Oh yea and they screwed up my order. I looked them right in the eye and said NO PITA, and pays right after so btwn telling them no pita and paying they gave me pita bread.
Great!!!!! Had shot of Wheatgrass juice plus a chicken dinner platter small,. How they made the rice so nice creamy, I dont know. The grilled chicken was cut up nice and small so I didnt have to wrestle awkwardly with fork and knife! Bit of nice salad and pita, very nice. Couple wicker chairs and 2 tables in front, nothing fancy, but very nice!!! Add summer night air and I was good to go!!! Note, they close at 10pm, so dont arrive at 2 minutes to 10, hoping to be served all night. The guys are great and very busy as you can imagine.

2022-02-22I tried falafel pita and lamb wrap from this place. All the ingredients were fresh and good quality. The taste was very authentic and food was homemade. Staff is very polite and helpful. They serve vegetable juices and smoothies also. Curbside pickup is also available. Do give it a try.

2022-04-27The lunch specials are a great option and are worth the price. I bought the chicken kefta lunch special. It came with a salad, rice and naan flatbread. A whole plate of food for $11. Great middle eastern food.

2022-06-15Good middle eastern food in general, however the restaurant itself is very run down and lacks modern components. The food is good and standard for a middle eastern place, however I find their meats in particular very dry, and sometimes lacks spices. The juice bar however is very good and a neat addition to a restaurant where the food can be sometimes spicy. The sweet potato pie is also amazing and a great healthy desert alternative.

2022-08-04The food is decent, however this was probably my most awful experience with any restaurant ever!!! And I am saying that well aware that this is NYC. I ordered some vegan take out in person today, when the place was moderately busy. I had to wait more than 45 min to get the wrong food, which I could not eat because I am vegan. I was skipped by at least 8 people that came after me. I made the cook aware that he skipped me and he kept doing the same thing for another 20 min, instead of starting my order. When I got up the third time to ask, after about 45 min had passed, they hectically started finishing my order. I had asked for a vegan falafel pita, fries and a salad. The guy behind the counter insisted I ordered a chicken pita and got aggressive and pushy when I explained that I have no reason ordering food that isn’t vegan. His two colleagues next to him stepped in to support the guy and pressure me to buy the food. So left this rude boys club and went somewhere else.

2021-05-27A big loving inclusive menu. Something for everyone. I had the mixed grill and my friends had the shish kebab. The kebabs are cooked to perfection! Also the team here was polite and punctual. Thank you!

2022-08-22I’m not sure why this place have 5 stars review but this place is awful. I ordered two orders of their falafel and it’s dry and oily and not tasty at all. Don’t believe Google reviews! They charged me $25 for the two falafel plates which has only 3 falafels each!! I asked the “owner “ or whoever this guy is to give me hot sauce and he was rude and told me that he already gave me one hot sauce for each order!! Mind you I paid $25 for an order that actually worth less than $10!! If you gotta be that expensive you better have better customer service and better food! I don’t recommend this place!!

2022-04-19So far only ate once (chicken kebab platter with babaganoush, bean salad and baklava for dessert). They are not doing anything extraordinary in terms of recipes but things are done beautifully. Cooked great, flavors are balanced (smoked paprika galore and baklava without excessive spices). I will definitely try more.UPD: ate several more times since, I stand by my 5-star original review.

2022-04-14I eat here multiple times a week. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, although I strongly encourage first timers to try the chicken shawarma. Unbelievable food overall.

2022-06-21Pretty good deal on the super combo wrap. Meat and falafel for 10.50. Add some tabouli and extra veg and it makes for a nice medi-burrito lunch or light dinner.
