Not the best pizza I have had but its the best I have tasted here in beacon and what I really appreciate about them, is what I found lacking in so many other pizza places, is they dont touch your food with their hands and are very sanitary. If they have to touch it you can see them constantly washing their hands. Especially today that means everything to me. I have walked out of so many other shops because they are not at all sanitary handling money and everything else then handling your pizza without everwashing their hands
I really enjoyed my dinner here! I stopped in after doing some work for a quick bite to eat and ordered the chicken quesadilla which was fresh and exactly what I was craving. I honestly overate because it was just that good! It came with three sides; salsa, sour cream and guacamole. Im particular about my guacamole but theres was perfect👌. The restaurant is clean, easy to get to and the staff were all super friendly and accommodating. I didnt wait too long for my dinner and they were on the ball with staying on top of drinks and checking in. I will definitely be frequenting this restaurant again!
They make pretty good pizza and Mexican food and have been a staple in Beacon for years. Theyre my preferred pizza place if I just want some plain slices or a plain pie. Theyre located right on Main Street so they have great access. Theres also a huge parking lot out back with a back door if you cant find parking on the street.
Best pizza in Beacon NY. Hands down. Could be less stingy with certain things, 25 cents for tap water?! But whatever, I got over it when I realized how good their Grandma pie is. Other reviewers say it has too much garlic, but I think that it is just right. I always thought that Grandma pizza was meant to have a lot of garlic flavor. Anyway, dough and sauce have flavor unlike other local pizzerias. I also love the name. I always wonder why they are a sequel, and to what other Pizza and Stuff they are a sequel of.
My family has been ordering from Pizza and Stuff since the late 1990s at the location across the street. We have had several orders delivered from the new venue. Pizza and heroes have always been great. We went last night for dinner in the Dining room. Service was extremely slow. The Philly Cheesesteak barely had a 1/4 of meat. The onions were raw, not carmelized, and the cheese was not even melted. My spinach quesadilla was poor at best, cool and not much filling in it. The guac was ice cold and all I could taste was onion and cilantro. The absolute worst part of dinner were the fruit flies that kept swarming our table and landing on our dinner plates. Not once did our waitress come to ask how it was or did we need anything (no salt/pepper on table). Im sure they were busy with takeout, but we the only two in the DR. Very dissatisfied.
Mediocre pizza spot. Nothing out of this world or different from your local mom and pop pizza place. We came in with a group of friends, about 10 of us, on a Sunday night. Given the reviews, we decided to hit this spot up. You can’t really go wrong anywhere in beacon, or at least I thought. Number one mistake, they don’t sell beer. You can’t really have pizza without beer, can you? It’s cool though, you can walk to the gas station and buy a six pack and they’re cool with you bringing it in, as long as you drink it in their cups. I know, makes no sense! Oh well, worked for me!The staff was really nice and accommodating, can’t say anything bad about them. The pizza was more than ok, maybe just meh; good? I mean given it’s a “pizza” place I’m coming here for their pizza, not their mexican food. Yeah, they offer random mexican food on the menu and a mexican pizza too. So you get I guess exactly what they’re called, pizza and stuff.I’m not reviewing them based on the fact that that same night, the power went out, our pizzas took forever to come out, it was boiling hot. Basically everything that could’ve gone wrong went wrong so I’m not judging them on the bad weather that messed with the electricity all over that block. It’s more on the pizza, pretty basic. It was good, we at it all! The prices were cheap. Two can eat from the small size. Also, if you just want to purchase by the slice, you can!Honestly they have different options. Pricing is good, pizza is ok. If I had to pick a night out in Beacon, I wouldn’t pick this spot again. There are plenty of cool, little spots all over that have original, delicious, food.Again, the place is ok. The service was weak. They only had one poor girl serving and she wasn’t trained too well. She was very nice so truthfully nothing against her. Just a “meh” pizza spot. If you don’t want pizza you can have tamales, how about that lol.
I use to get food here and had them deliver frequently due to an illness. I ordered the same two meals every single time I ordered. One night, they were busy and when my order got here, It was the wrong order. I called and was told by the owner that my sister, who had placed the order, was basically a liar and his employee didnt make any mistakes because it was his niece. I spent a lot of money there, tipped their drivers well and when it came down to it, the owner sided with a relative and they banned me from ordering. This is not a business I want to keep giving my money to and the prices were way too high for the quality. So Im glad it happened...no more wasting my money on a place that doesnt deserve it.
They are absolutely rude and their pizza is really soggy and wet. To the point where the dough feels gelatinous... I called to let them know and they pretty much fought with me.. How is that professional? I been in the culinary field for 9 years and have two degrees I KNOW pizza does not do that unless your pizza is old or your sauce is watered down. Their buffalo sauce taste ketchupy and their mozz sticks taste absolutely old and frozen. I will never eat here ever again.
The carne asada was fantastic the skirt steak grilled to perfect, the rice and beans absolutely delicious and came with a small shredded lettuce salad with fresh pico on top and two grilled green onions and avocado. If you like traditional Mexican food I highly recommend Pizza and Stuff ll
The order was screwed up and all I ordered was chicken tenders with a side of fries with 2 cheese cakes. The chicken fingers I received were over cooked. I received chicken fingers in a basket, the cheep take out Styrofoam was completely burned from the grease of the food so it had no bottom to it.next time I will call Sals instead
If you are ordering straight off the menu then you might be ok. I wanted a parm sandwich without the bread. I thought it was simple. I kept explaining 2 meatballs, 2 sausages, marinara and mozzarella in a dish. Like a parm without the bread. Instead I got whole meatball and sausages in a pool of sauce with what little cheese there was completely melted off the meat. Oh yeah they charged me a dollar more than the parm sandwich See pics.

2022-04-23This place seems to go under the radar; they serve excellent Mexican food. I just had the steak tacos. The closest I have had to real Mexican street tacos, rice and beans since, well, being in Mexico. This is real Mexican food, not like the bougie places being sold as Mexican on line. Pizza is excellent too, BTW, NYC street style, also not bougie.

2022-06-10Lazy made heroes. Cheap on sauce. Shame of a pizza place. Rather pay $10 for a hero in one of the boroughs. Nice people. Lousy prepared food.

2022-05-22The owner here is wonderful. My son accidentally threw his retainer in the trash, and she patiently checked and double-checked the trash bags until we found it!

2021-04-19This is by far my familys favorite 🍕. We always order our pizza with a thick crust cooked light. The dough is so crazy good. It has so much flavor. Other pizzas weve had the crust has no flavor so most people just throw it out. But honey THIS CRUST IS SO CRAZY GOOD! Also the the flavor of there pizza is SO GOOD. I hope they never change the kind of dough they use and never change the way they season there sauce and cheese. The prices are excellent to

2019-06-17I dont want this review to be totally negative so Ill say this first. Their sandwiches and wraps are good. Im not thrilled with the pizza so I havent ordered that in years. But this is about last nights dinner order and it was bad. I ordered the mussels with white sauce. On the menu this is billed as Mussels, Red or White Sauce. Like all the dinners it is served with pasta, salad and bread. So you would think that what you are getting is a decent amount of mussels and a side of pasta. Instead, you get a giant portion of over cooked spaghetti and 7 mussels. Seven. Seriously, just change that to Pasta with a side of mussels. Very disappointing. My husbands order wasnt good either. He had the shrimp basket and fries. The shrimp was clearly of the pre packaged and pre frozen variety and the fries were soggy. But we learned our lesson. If we ever order from P&S ll again it will only be the sandwiches. And that is a big if. By the way I posted a picture of my Pasta with 7 mussels.
