I placed an order at 1130am to be delivered at 1230 to a group of teachers. When no order arrived at 1245, I attempted to contact the store location. There is no ability to speak with anyone local. I spent over 30 minutes on hold with a call center who simply puts you on hold where no one will ever answer. Absolutely ridiculous and such poor customer service all around. All while 6 teachers wasted their lunch time and had no food to eat. I received a confirmation number, email, and text for this order. My tracking showed that my order was being made. Bologna. It never arrived. I went to the store location after work only to find that it is closed. No lights. No cars. No employees. What a joke! Your system has so many flaws and takes away all local contact. I called my credit card company to dispute any charge Pizza Hut may attempt to process. Highly dissatisfied and we all will let our community members know to avoid giving any business to this location.
If its not good, at least its slow. Online order for pickup at 6:30. Arrived at 6:15 and couldnt even pay for it as it did not appear in the computer. Then finally at 6:30 my name appeared on the screen and I paid thinking my order was ready. Manager tells me sorry it will be another 5 minutes. I left the store at 6:43. So much for 5 minutes. A cook in the back kept yelling and it sounded like some sort of disagreement going on in the back. So many annoyed and frustrated people. With that said the Pizza was not bad but the breadsticks were overcooked and tough. The sauce was cold that came with them...
This place doesnt deserve any star. I order a pizza at 6:43 pm online. Get home from work at 10 pm and the pizza Never came. Call the phone over half-hour and no one even came on the phone. And theres no way to cancel the order. This is the worst place to order from. Never again.
The order delivered was completely wrong. All 3 attempts to speak to a manager I ended up getting hung up on. 2 hours I finally left the store with my food finally right. This is after driving there with a bad leg from surgery so my kids could finally get their food. Only 2 people helped while others were fighting with each other. Worst experience i have ever had!
I placed an order for curbside pickup and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes, I arrived in 20 minutes gentlemen came out and told me it would be a few minutes more, which was not problem until I sat waiting for another 1/2 hr.. I received my order and when I got home the 2 apple desserts I order when checked there was only one with the cream cheese icing I ordered with them was not there either. This is a first for me at this Pizza Hut but this order, for me, was a hot mess.
Ordered for delivery, food was at least hot & fresh and came quickly enough. (Note: I ordered “contactless delivery” but the driver didn’t seem to notice or care, since he still called me from the parking lot to come out and pick up my food.)I ordered a 3-topping pizza and only got 2 toppings on it. Also ordered a side of mini apple pies and only got 5, supposed to be 6. On top of that, the crust on the bottom of the pizza was soggy & limp.I would NOT recommend ordering from this location (unless you enjoy not receiving everything you paid for). It’s too bad, I’ve had good experiences with this location in the past, seems like it’s really gone downhill.
Starting on December 26, 2019, I will be working at this Pizza Hut Carryout at 1820 Altamont Avenue in Rotterdam because of the Pizza Hut at 1638 Union Street in Schenectady where I worked at closed down on December 21st, 2019. Anber will be my new boss. My new co-workers here at the Altamont Avenue Pizza Hut are very nice. My hours will be the same as the Pizza Hut on Union Street where I worked at, which will be: 9:30 am-12 noon on Wednesdays, 9:30 am-11:30 am on Thursdays, and 9:30 am-12 noon on Fridays. Here is the photo of that Pizza Hut on Altamont Avenue taken from Google Maps where I will be working at starting December 26th, 2019. Amber is the manager at this Pizza Hut. It is just down the street from Price Chopper where I also work at (e.g., on a Thursday, after working at this Pizza Hut, I can walk right directly straight to Price Chopper, since it is near that Pizza Hut where I will be working at to pick up my check), e.g., I wont have to worry about taking two buses to get to Price Chopper on Altamont Avenue - Routes 370, and 352, when I was working at the Pizza Hut on Union Street. It will be very convenient for me. Unlike the Pizza Hut on Union Street that opened at 11am, this pizza hut on Altamont Avenue opens 1/2 hour earlier, which is: 10:30 am.
I picked up order, got all the way home and noticed no breadsticks. I called and they said to come back, I came all the way back to the store and they tell their out of breadsticks. They couldn’t issue me refund because no manager there. Food was cold and terrible service. Order was $67 and food was terrible will never order from this place again.
Ordered from this establishment via phone. When I arrived at the scheduled time, not only was my food not ready, the order had never been processed. No one knew anything about the call despite. I stood at the front counter for over 5 minutes while employees joked and stood around in the production area. After I finally got someone to assist me and they informed me the order was never processed, the employee offered no assistance or resolution. He did not even offer to take the order while I was standing there but only said we dont have it and walked back to joking around with his co-workers. Will never patronize this location or this company again. Not the first time Ive received poor to no service, but definitely the last.
I ordered online and when I arrived to pick my food up the doors were locked. I saw 3-4 employees in the store, and called from my car to tell them I was there for my order. I waited on hold for 20 mins with no answer and knocked on the door, finally after 20-30 mins a young girl mouthed through the door that they were closed. This inconvenienced me as I had to order food elsewhere and wait an extra hour to eat. I’m glad I didn’t pay online because those employees didn’t care.
I spent $50 on my purchase. The food was cold, poorly prepared, and under cooked. We could barely eat any of the food that we ordered because of the preparation, but still tried seeing how we spent so much money on the product. A couple hours later and into today everyone who ate the food has diarrhea and are vomiting. I have never in my life been so disgusted with an establishment. I’ve contacted the department of health and strongly suggest anyone to avoid this location all together.
I would give this store 0 stars if that was an option. I placed an order for delivery hours before they closed, wait time was 20-30 minutes. 45 minutes later food has not arrived, I attempted to call the store and sat on the hold for 15 minutes with no answer. Called back and selected the other option got transferred back to the store with no answer for another 10 minutes with no answer. I sat on hold on the phone with no answer and never got my food by the time their store was closed almost 2 hours later. No contact from the store, no email or anything to explain what happened.
I ordered pizza from there for carryout and it took then an hour and they put only 6 pieces of pepperoni on my pizza. My husband showed up there and the employees were outside fighting with each other while customers are waiting for food.They were given people the wrong orders... This pizzahut is very unprofessional. Definitely not ordering from them again. Lucky I cant give zero stars.
Awful experience. Ordered online, got to the restaurant 10 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready by. Doors are locked and there is no one up front to open them, we go back in the car and tried to call the store over and over and no one is picking up. We can see people inside but they are either too busy or dont care. Finally after waiting 30 minutes in the car someone comes out and we get our order. Got home just to find out we were missing some things from the order but we weret going back and wait another hour for that. Also employees in the back were not wearing their masks properly. I would just stay away from this location to avoid a headache.
Change how you do the curbside pickup. We clicked the email link when we arrived then it said call the number and i was put on hold 4 times. Waited in the car for 15 mins then ended up having to go inside to get my order and the cashier was a nightmare slamming the cash register drawer because he obviously was annoyed. Food was sitting there the whole time. Definitely thumbs down
Don’t bother ordering any food on the weekend! They tell you 15-20 mins, but you arrive and there are lot full of cars. It says curbside pickup but no one is coming out to tell people their food is ready. So it’s complete chaos. People waiting in line outside with orders being backed up. I was told 15-20 mins to find out my order was still 15 orders behind after waiting over an hour. I saw a worker eating his pizza over the counter where another guy was making food for the customers. They had like 6 or more people working, but most standing around. After waiting over an hour I asked them just to cancel the order politely. The female worker, who I assume was the manager, did not say one word to me nor offered a apology.Terrible customer service, terrible management, and overall terrible owner. The owner needs to get people working in there to develop a good team. So I can’t just blame the workers, the blame goes straight to the owner for the lack of control he/she has on the place.
Don’t order from this Pizza Hut unless you want to wait over an hour for your order! When we arrived for our curbside pickup, the line of customers wrapped around the building! Nobody came out with our order, so we too waited in the massive line for 30 minutes. By the time we reached the front of the line, we were told our order wasn’t ready and we were still #15 in queue. We asked for a refund and the employee did not apologize or seem to care. One employee was eating a slice of pizza and another wasn’t wearing a mask! Terrible experience
When my husband arrived to pick the food up the man at the counter said what do you want? Very rude and disrespectful. Then when he arrived home I was missing an order of Cinnabon’s even though my husband fought and said there were two and the guys looked at the receipt and said no one but clearly the receipt said two when I looked at it. This is the second time we’ve had trouble with this Pizza Hut
I received a text message stating that my order was out for delivery at 8:12 pm and we live approximately 10 minutes, at the most, from the store. When the order was not here in a half hour, I attempted to contact the store (8:45 pm). I was unable to get in contact with any employee for approximately 8 minutes, at which point I hung up and redialed the store. This time when I placed my call, I pressed the option for placing an order and the employee who answered at this time informed me that I was on the wrong extension, and transferred me back to the original extension without waiting for an explanation of my predicament. Approximately 5 minutes elapsed with no answer. Our order arrived at 9:08 pm with no explanation of the delay, and our order was not only missing my soda, but the items were lukewarm at best.The driver that showed up had no uniform on, and his vehicle had no display of any company logo. This was not the first time we have had issues with this store. Multiple times we have had orders take longer then expected, items missing, or general lack of customer care.I have responded to their online survey and have received no response for over a week.
Pizza was nasty and was not the Pizza hut i am accustomed too Pan pizza was thin , What happened to the original pan pizza i pay an extra dollar for?? very unhappy overall asked for extra sauce didnt even get that & i counted the pepperoni there were exactly 12 pieces of peperoni on the Lg pepperoni pizza!!
The worst place ever! Waited for an order of bread sticks for 1 hour and 30 mins. The guys there dont care about service at all or the people paying their bill ( clients) this store should definitely close as the food was cold, I asked for refund and they didnt care at all. They never get nothing right and or apologize for the inconveniences.Never ever go there, dirty, no mask or even an uniform from the franchise.Franchise owner should definitely revoke their license to even call this place a pizza place.
Not what it used to be for sure. 15 min. Turned into 40 min., the order was not complete when I got home. Employees in the prep/cook are not wearing masks-especially the guy cutting the pizzas- I watched him with the same tool pick up dirty pans overturned on the floor and then pull pizzas out of the oven. Handling all that with no gloves on. Pretty gross all things considered- long time customer-NEVER AGAIN !!!
Been ordering from this place for a while. Don’t know why I didn’t think to rate sooner. Cause like when I started ordering this location had 2 stars. But you good folk work here. Like once or twice they gave me bread sticks they head that some one didn’t take I guess so that was really cool. Again the people are nice. And I really love the food. No reason to me there should have been 2 stars at any point. Now with that out of the way I’d like to take a moment to discuss raid shadow legends...
The worst experience Ive ever had. I ordered contactless carryout and I waited 45 minutes before I had to go inside to wait another 10 minutes before someone came to the register to give me my food from the steamer that it was sitting in for at least 20 minutes while I sat outside the building. So not only did I wait for my food,when I got it the crust was wrong and it was dry and nasty. NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE EVER AGAIN!
I went into this store last weekend. The usual Pizza Hut that I go to, was closed for repairs. I decided to give this Pizza Hut a try. I called, wasnt able to get ahold of anyone. I called again, and after five rings, I was able to place my order. I asked If I could do curb side pick up. The guy said yes, just call when you arrive I decided to pay before I showed up to make the process easier. I was told 10-15 minutes for pick up. It takes me about 15minutes to get to the Rotterdam Pizza Hut, so I left as soon as I got off the phone.Once I arrive, I see tons of cars outside in the parking lot and noticed there wasnt any curb side signs or spots. I call the store (as I was asked too) and the first two times I called, (after their recording keep playing over and over) I was hung up on. I called back the third time with no answer at all. I decide to go into the store, and no one was up front at the register. I see two other people are waiting and I was told that both customers have been waiting a while.I finally ask the guy If my order was set, and he asked me what my name was. I told him my name twice, and acted like he couldnt hear me. After seeing how poorly the staff was with their food, and the lady waiting said she was waiting over an hour, I ask again, how much longer and the guy said 30 mins I was told 10-15 on the phone. While this is happening, two customers asked to cancel their orders with how slow the service was.I then asked for my refund. He didnt know how to refund my order, so he had to get someone else. After five minutes of being in the back, he comes back up and acts like I wasnt there. I asked again, and said the manager has to do it and shes not here The guy then gave me her business card which is the same number to the store and told them you havent been answering and then said I dont know what to tell youI said ill be calling to get my refund tomorrow, and as I was getting ready to leave, a customer comes in and wasnt happy as her delivery order was two hours later, and the order was incorrect.The worst customer service I have had in a very long time. The guy at the counter didnt care about his job, its a paycheck for him. He wasnt even wearing a pizza hut shirt nor was he wearing a mask the way he should. I will never come to this pizza hut again. The wolf rd location is nothing like this. STAY AWAY.
My pizza had absolutely no sauce on it I tried to call Pizza Hut four times and nobody answered the phone except for one time she said she was the call center and she was going to transfer me to the store was transferred to the store and again nobody answered who makes a pizza with no sauce I looked at the receipt and it did not say no sauce so why would you not put sauce on a pizza who does that
My order was delivered missing 2 items. I was unable to get the rest of my order because when I called I was on hold and it kept hanging up on me. I tried at least 4 times to contact them. I reached one person and she put me on hold and then I was disconnected. Unhappy customer!
Terrible long wait!!!! They are very disorganized, rude, and poorly managed. There was so many angry customers. We were all told 20-25 minutes, but upon our arrival was told another hour or more wait. Just drive by on a Friday or Saturday night and you will see the parking lot packed. All due to poor management and operations within this Pizza Hut.
I ordered pizza and wings and pizza came in burnt and very dry and wings had no sauce that I had requested. I called to try to let them know and they would answer and hang up on my face. Customer service staff are extremely rude and don’t care, I would wait on hold for 10 min and than as soon as they answer and say “hello” and I speak they immediately hang up. They need better customer service.
Worst pizza hut in over 20 years i have been ordering pizza. I waited over 2 hours for my pizza and i never received it and called 3 times the 2nd time they said it was coming soon the 3rd time they said they had nothing in there system as a chef i know they deleted my order from the system am never ordering from them ever again.
Totally dissatisfied. The pizzas had ZERO sauce on them. They tasted like cardboard. The tracking delivery said delivered but my pizzas wasnt there. I called the local store 3x and got no answer. Finally I called the call center and they had to call the local store. The guy then hung up on me. I then drove to the store as it was closing time and still no pizzas. I actually waited at the store for 20 minutes before the pizzas came to my house. EVERYTHING was cold. I am extremely disappointed. 46.00 wasted. Never again.
I received my pizza as planned but I ordered cheese bread sticks and they were burnt. I was really disappointed because I was looking forward to the cheesy bread. Also I dont know what kind of marinara sauce this pizza hut uses but it taste like ketchup with some herbs mixed in.
Got the pizza special tonight, not sure why. I had on my lucky socks, but they were not cooperative tonight. I see some reviews where they got the order wrong. Mine too. I wonder why its so difficult for people to do their job incorrectly. How hard is it? My lucky socks are in the dryer right now.
Ordered online an hour ago and came to the store to pick up. There was no one at the counter. Had to wait 15 minutes to get someone, and he did not even respond. After another 10/15 minutes he came in and rang me out. There were customers waiting on line. Very bad customer service. This happened on 2/17/21 at 1.20 pm. Out West these are great. Out here? No way. Go local, hit up Infernos or Fiorellas --- they are more authentic and their prices are competitive. I still gave this a 3 star because pizza is pizza; its hard to screw it up. Thats where Im at right now --- out here we have superior pizza from local companies that are just a lot better.
This Pizza Hut is my go to location ever since Ive moved here but my past order has went above and beyond. On April 6th, 2017, I ordered Pizza hut online after I left work but I didnt know about the unexpected traffic during the rain storm so I call ahead and told them I running late than expected pickup time. The staff said its fine and theyll re-make it if need be, which is the first time Ive heard a pizza company do which won me over of loyalty and treated with me like an actual customer rather just another order. I picked up the pizza and I didnt mention anything about re-making it to see if theyll honor their words over the phone. The staff check the pizza and brownies and decided to re-make it and asked if I can wait another 10 minutes as they re-make the pizza. I had no problem and Im in love with this location! I definitely recommend this location to all.
The food from here is always good, my boyfriend and I usually order online and then pay/pick up at the store.They get docked one star however because every time I go there, the staff are always in the back. Most of the time Ill even get eye contact from someone but am never greeted or acknowledged. Can totally understand if theyre busy but its common courtesy to say at least Ill be right with you.But bottom line, food is always hot and correctly made which is the most important thing. Their customer service leaves a little to be desired.
Usually dont order out...got the five dollar deals...ordered two pizzas. Got one wrong and called back, said the slip said is what we ordered.,.lol. so the boss said rudely they would send another and wanted the wrong one back...np...lol. jus sayin service on the phone was rude..driver was great. Just because I give it one star doesnt mean I hate it...dont twist it Google...Pizza Hut just doesnt have what I remember Pizza Hut as I remember back in the day when you could sit down with friends and or family...the Restaurant use to be on Altamont ave across from Micky Ds

2022-02-04Rude staff and manager. Walk in the store, staff is yelling and cursing. Not wearing a mask yelling at some one else in the lobby for not wearing one.. shouldn’t rules apply to all??? Guess not they can decide who they apply to.. then they can’t find my pizza.. apparently someone had already marked it off as being picked up… but I had just gotten there.

2021-12-12Unfortunately there is no ZERO star rating.The absolute worst store I have orderd from in over 20 years... delivered wrong order (I am keeping my receipt and took time-stamped photos of the pizzas). And when I called asking them to fix their error (we paid extra and did not receive what we ordered), the person on the phone is asking me to drive another 30 minutes to his store to pick a replacement, then he hung on me when I told him it is his problem to fix, not mine.Never to this store again and hope everyone is aware of what treatment you WILL receive... I hope this review finds its way to Pizza Hut HQ to learn how to better pick and train their franchise.

2021-12-17This specific pizza hut needs to be closed or totally revamped. This was my last time I will go there. Ive been told oven is broke, they tried to sell me someone elses foods before they arrived and my last purchase was disgusting. Loved Pizza Hut pizzas enough to drive a bit to that location. Not happy with the down sizing of product and continued higher prices. Still love the pizzas but will never order there again.

2021-12-25I placed my order at 5:50, order pickup time was 6:10. The website said the store was open until 8. I showed up at 6:10 and got a call from the store while I was in the lobby waiting for my order at 6:15. They told me my order wasn’t going to be made because the store closed at 6:00. So now I am left with no dinner on Christmas Eve when everything else is closed. I will absolutely not be ordering from Pizza Hut again in the future.

2022-01-10Pizza and cheese sticks were over cooked. Cheese and sauce were about 3” off the edge of the pizza!! There was hardly and cheese on the pizzas and cheese sticks…CHEESE STICKS! It’s literally in the name yet not on the dough. Won’t let me post without clicking one star but shouldn’t even have that - this is a zero star review from a person that worked at a Pizza Hut for over 10 years and knows how it’s supposed to be done!

2021-10-29My pizza was HOT & the Honey BBQ wings delicious. My order arrived earlier than they advised. The delivery person went the extra mile with my wing order by also putting the order in a separate bag to ensure the container they were in stayed secure. I was totally impressed with their customer service.

2021-12-08Ordered the medium pizza bundle..was supposed to be a 15 minute wait, cinnamon rolls that come with the package were forgotten about! My pizza sat out for over 30 minutes for some cinnamon rolls and the cook I believe his name was nick was extremely rude in regards of his mess up! In all waited almost a hour for undercooked pizza and over cooked cinnamon rolls! We wont be coming back to this location
