Its got that nice thin crust that you crave. Its the picture perfect thin new York pizza that makes me think of spider man. Also wasnt too greasy (you know when the pepperoni is basically a grease bowl 🤢) and the crust was on point. 4/5 because there was something about the sauce that wasnt quite perfect. I recommend trying it out for yourself and seeing. I plan to again.
Worst pizza ever.. 8 cut extra cheese pizzaShould have been an easy order to fulfill. The crust wasnt done, the sauce was too sweet, and we were shorted on the cheese Obvious lack of pride in their product . Ellios frozen pizza is a 5 start in comparison to Pizza Works
100% Fantastic from start to finish!I dealt with the manager Im assuming on how he presented himself with thorough excellent service. We used Pizza works ballston spa for our engagement party! Lets just say they went about and beyond for us! He helped me through ordering to delivering to paying everything seamless!I highly recommend using them its not just PIZZA!We ordered 4 Moon ( sub) plattersPasta salad, Mac Salad, Potato Salad, Anipasta , Toss Salad! Everything came with plates napkins cutlery. Dressings all on the side for convenient use.Moons are absolutely delicious huge party hit!If your looking for great service great food and a great price for what we got.. Call & Try it out!
This afternoon I placed an order for delivery online and was told it would be delivered around 5:05 pm and at 5:30pm I called to check on status and was told that there was an error with the system and were not able to give me a time on delivery after waiting for an hour and a half. I then drove to the store and waited approximately 20 more minutes. I got my pizza and went home. Upon opening the box I notice that the pizza was burned. I went back to the store and spoke to a young man at the counter and he agreed that it was infact over cooked. They then offered to make another one but it would be about a 45 minute wait. That was not acceptable since it had already been about 2 hours since I ordered the first one and to make it worse they never even offered to compensate me for the inconvenience. As far as I am concerned they are not a family friendly place and in no way a professional business. And to make matters worse they didnt even apologize for the mistakes. I will not being going back and will pass my experience on to everyone I know.
First time ordering. LOVE the thin crust on the pizza, and theres a nice kick to the sausage and pepperoni. Fries were DELICIOUS, which is rare for delivery fries. Prices seemed right and delivery was within the estimated window. One item was forgotten, but the driver returned quickly after I called and everyone was friendly about it. Will definitely order again.
Love Pizza Works! Not only are their prices super affordable, they send you coupons via email if you sign up with them as well, and lastly- their delivery/take-out service is great.I live in an apartment complex that can be confusing to find the right door and each time no matter the driver, it’s seamless. It’s nice not getting a phone call asking where I am or to come outside since they can’t find the place. They make an effort to to deliver to your door.I’ve never had a bad experience ordering from there and it’s nice to support a local business, especially in these trying times. Most importantly, best pizza in the Ballston Spa and Saratoga region.
OK I am absolutely starving and want to 12 hour days I am completely thankful that they delivered my food even cycled at 9 oclock. However it is cold chicken definitely overcooked and my side salad never arrived … just moved to The area but I guess Ill be looking for a better Italian food place In the area. paid $16 for chicken parm and paid $4 on a tip which is 25% I would expect better service than this..
Walking into this pizza place is like walking into a warm hug - seriously! Not only is the food delicious, but each and every one of the staff are so kind, gracious, and courteous. They also seem to be a very close team, always laughing with eachother and in a great mood. Wonderful place to visit.
We ordered a few platters of sandwiches for a business meeting from the Ballston Spa Pizza Works. Ordering was very easy and the gentleman was very polite and helpful. Delivery came on time as scheduled and delivery man was extremely pleasant. Food was delicious! Thank you and we will definitely order again!
I ordered the penne with sauce and chicken parmasean and what ruined it was the sauce. It was so under-cooked that it still had that acidic, raw, metallic tomato taste to it. The chicken was great and so was the penne, for it was cooked ardente, as it should be, but again, the sauce just ruined it
Amazing pizza! My wife has celiac disease and we were in the area for a weekend getaway. Well the night coming in from Massachusetts we decided to order a Margherita pizza with Gluten free crust to pickup and have at the hotel Wow. You guys do not disappoint. If we are ever up there again we will definitely be revisiting. Highly recommend.
The Total Package!! Ive been getting my pizza from these guys since I moved to Ballston Spa three years ago. Pizza Works BSpa is consistently great, every time. Theyre always on time; the service is good, and employees very friendly; they have never made any mistakes with my orders..but most importantly, they make a great pie!! Everything is fresh and homemade, I especially like their sauce. I highly recommend Pizza Works!
Food was very tasty. Pizza was kinda greasy but I cant complain because it had great flavor and I ate 3 slices!!! Ive never in my life ate 3 slices 😬😱😳 And the garlic knots are to die for!! Soo addicting! Kinda on the pricey side for pizza but the garlic knots price was fair and reasonable. I would eat here again. Very yummy and the staff on the day I was there was very nice and helpful when I asked questions about the food.
Great pizza place, usually get the cheese pizza but recently stopped eating dairy so i get the pizza with no butter and marinara since their regular pizza sauce has dairy. They are always nice and friendly when you stop by or call. And Tuesdays they do two medium cheese pizzas for 10. And you can sub one cheese for dairy free! We love pizza works!!!!
I received a welcome coupon booklet in the mail for Pizza Works and decided to try it. They were offering a free 8 cut and I decided to try some boneless wings and cheesy bread too. It was very good pizza. I have been looking for some actual New York style pizza and have tried about five pizza places nearby, none of which were great. This place had the closest thing to it. The wings and cheesy bread were great too. Will be coming back.
Just finished our pizza about 5 minutes ago. More than half is in the trash. Hands down one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. I don’t know what went wrong here. The pizza was as thin as a paper. I looked at other photos from customers and their pizza looked nothing like ours. Thin as paper, super greasy and soggy. Will not be back - that was miserable !
Just stopped in for slices, had to wait long enough after ordering to get skipped over twice when the fresh pizza finally came out. Slices are tiny looks like they cut the pizza for an elementary school party with 40+ kids... needless to say dont waste your time. Theres plenty of other pizza places nearby
Having been driven by a Seinfeld episode to crave a calzone ( eggplant and pepperoni ) I tried their Calzone and WOW ! They nailed it !The pizza works makes THE BEST Calzone in the Area . “ make your own calzone “ Eggplant , Spinach, & Roasted Red Peppers . Try it your way or just like that but it was perfect and delicious ! A+++
I have ordered from here on two occasions, the first one the pizza was ok and wings were undercooked and rubbery. Just ordered again today and the pizza was the qaulity I would expect from a bowling alley (no crust barely any cheese and heavy on the sauce) The wings were visibly undercooked and essentially rubber. This is the type of place where if the owner got the food that I was served Id hope he would be embarrassed and disgusted.
Ok, Here is the only review you need read. Pizza quality is very poor almost comparable to that of the frozen stale cardboard they served to you back in elementary school. The staff is friendly, however poor ingredients and quality of food is not their fault that is entirely up to management. God forbid your poor molars have to grind through an edge slice. Instead i reccomend you order pizza From Front Street Deli literally down the street from pizza works (thicker crust way better quality) or if you dont mind the 18 minute drive to Saratoga to try Gennaros Pizzeria which has a 4.9 / 5 0 rating and is superior in quality to any pizzeria around here, your mouth will literally melt. Pizza Works does not deserve your hard earned money and unless they work on their product quality they will end up going out of buisness. This Pizza definitely needs Work. (Ironic ass name lol) Hope this helps someone.
First time at the Ballston spa location and was very disappointed. Ordered online for pickup and received a pizza that was barely sliced into pieces and slightly burned and 20 wings that were not battered in sauce bc they were crispy. Only got a small little cup of wing sauce for 20 wings .... Never heard of this practice before and didnt see anything online either. Called to inquire and was told its standard practice and that it is posted online, I checked again but still dont see any notation but maybe thats bc I ordered through mobile phone but still dont understand. Will continue to frequent the burnt hills location but never again at Ballston spa.
We love the food here but as far as convenience not so much. We order alot of take out since we also own a business and are extremely busy. I called tonight for a delivery and was told they dont deliver here. They use to deliver here because I ordered from there lots of times. We only live around 6 miles from the restaurant and now they dont wang to go that far. I guess I can order from The Front Street Deli because they dont have a problem coming here.
If you want gourmet frozen pizza this is the place for you. Otherwise a waste of time, money and absolutely horrible pizza. Ordered 2 medium pizzas, one plain and other mix of cheese with roast beef. Tasteless and making you want to throw up after consuming this gross pizza. Please look elsewhere if your in the mood for Italian and pizza. Beware of feeling sick and waste of money.
Wish I could say I even had the calzone but things went bad to worse the moment I walked in. I was charged $12 + dollars for a 2 topping calzone and fountain drink. (Holy cow! $12 dollars for a fast food lunch)? Thought to myself Im hungry and this will be fast. Computers acting up (Not Pizza Works fault). Took 3 or 4 minutes for the computer to accept my credit card payment. Stood in an empty restaurant for 40 minutes waiting for a 15 minute calzone order. It was then I learned a gentleman with the nastiest, straggliest uncovered beard was making my calzone. The calzone comes out leaking all over. I was told the calzone had to be made all over again. I cannot spend over and hour waiting for a lunch order that should take 15 minutes and the relief of knowing there was now no chance Id consume a beard hair was enough for me to just walk out. I really enjoyed my $12 fountain drink though. Had better luck at Front St. Deli.
Absolutely horrible service. I ordered a pizza, which they charged my cc# for and they never bothered to deliver it. They are now closed, so I cant even call to find out what happened to my pizza. Do they make a habit of taking the customers money and not delivering their product??? Also, about 6 months ago I got a pizza from here, which I picked up myself. Half of it was burnt. I will never ever order a pizza from here again.
Well for the price they charge u think the pizza would be bigger especially when they get the cheapest ingredients ...I know this because I worked for the company that delivers to them ...the prices are high the pizza isnt all that great its thin not that big you kinda get shafted for what you pay

2021-10-02Got the cheese herb bread sticks and chicken bacon ranch pizza. Bread sticks were good, but lacked a little something. Still enjoyed them a lot though! The pizza was fantastic, and I dont even like thin crust usually. Ill definitely be ordering again

2022-02-18Place is really hit or miss. A bit on the pricey side as well. Menu is interesting. Would not recommend for slices. Questionable crust, hardly any toppings. sorta pricey for what theyre offering. Place has a nice vibe on the inside.

2022-02-01Super annoyed. Order two personal pizza one was the margarita which came out fine. The next was a crest your own. I asked for the white garlic sauce as the base with a few veggies and basil drizzle. They hardly put any toppings on, used a pesto base and no white garlic sauce to seen or tasted. The personals are not big which is fine but I paid $10 for the margarita and $13 plus a 20oz soda. Cost me $30 without tip. This is also not the first time they messed up a create your own pizza. Won’t be ordering g from them again.

2021-07-18Friendly staff, fresh food, great setting! If youre stopping in for a couple slices, they have a great variety of specialty pizzas to choose from.Subs, sandwiches etc. are always great as well.. Ive visited this location for years, and they never disappoint. The food quality is there, with a free refill to go!Today I had the lunch special (2 slices and a drink), plus one extra slice, $9.43 incl. tax.It may seem a bit pricey, but seriously what isnt nowadays. Thats business. But THIS business serves fresh & tasty with a smile!Dining in, try to get one of the two front window tables. Its in the perfect location, in the heart of the Village of Bspa.June 2021

2022-06-24The service has dramatically gone downhill over the past year. This business use to be a staple of our little town😥. The past 3 visits have been shocking to say the least. My family and I have encountered a Male and Female swearing non stop (in front of our children) as well as counter server cleaning tables without gloves and then touching food without a glove or cleaning their hands (unacceptable). It saddens me to say this but I will not support this local business anymore. The pizza is delicious but not at the cost of having to deal with the lousy counter staff.

2021-03-19Their pizza is great! Big fan of their Margherita pizza. They serve Pepsi products but I wish they include Coke products as well. Hope to enjoy a beer there with friends after COVID-19 goes away.
