It doesn’t smell like it’s sanitized and I think having the weight room in the first floor is not a good idea women got to walk-through men to go to the bathroom very uncomfortable
I always like coming to this gym! The equipment is great and I like how spacious it is. They also have hydrotherapy and massage chairs!
A few months ago, I felt confident about returning to the gym. I didnt have any desire to go due to COVID-19. I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean and safe this Planet Fitness facility was. The staff members are so polite and pleasant. They do their best to keep the equipment clean. The problem that I do have is with some of the clients. They throw their dirty paper towels on the floor after cleaning the equipment, some talk loud on their phones or with the people who are working out with them, and some try to treat this gym like its their private gym at home.Lets all respect this gym and fellow patrons using this facility.
Theyre trying to charge me for services I havent used since the pandemic and on top of that I had canceled it at the peek of the pandemic.
Have went to this gym prior to pandemic, and am glad to be here post! Staff is friendly and kind. I appreciate the hot water during shower times, whenever applicable (when others didnt use it all). Im unsure if the altered/new hours of member occupancy is posted yet. And, even at 9 am, weekdays, its pretty difficult to find an open machine to do deadlifts. All the machines are new, some are rather uncomfortable. For example, the water holder for an elliptical machine is placed awkwardly low. Spray bottles and paper towels have always been full, which is a great thing! I also believe this facility now has towels? There needs to be a sign indicating where to return them before patrons think theyre complimentary for home!
This gym is going well for me, I arrive in the early times because thats before gym gets crowded. The machines work well, ac is on here and there but not really a problem. Girls bathroom is cleaned often as well as the machines. Staff are nice, kind. Payment is fair too, just follow their guidelines.
The lady manager on 7/5/2021 at 6pm was very unprofessional and disrespectful to me and my wife and I guess because we were South Indian.Myself, wife and my 15 year old son join the gym on 5/2/21 my wife and I show up today and was refused entry to the gym because my 15 year was not there. She told us that we can cancel our membership. Without trying to find a solution. And I can guarantee you that most of the members there are using other scan in info. We saw people pass in without scanning in. It’s not fair the way South Indian are been treated at this gym, while she talk so nice to other Spanish people, like ok my love. For us it was like what you want. This should be looked into by manag
I go over night and the staff is amazing! I have been going here for a while and I can say it’s the best gym around. Your at peace with your work outs ! Love this gym and deff recommend.
It’s a nice planet fitness. Not the best one in the Bronx but they have a great staff and 90% of the machines work well. Bathrooms could be cleaned more often and paper towel dispensers are sometimes neglected. From my experience the members at this gym have a little ego problem with the machine hogging but what can ya do, push them off?😆...
The gym is clean and the personal are disinfect all areas and machines every half hour now. I have been going to this gym for more than 10 years, and now is when it looks clean specially the bathroom. I appreciate all the help for the personal working there.
Clean and not too crowded in the morning and afternoons.
The facility is nice and the location is very convenient, but I had to cancel my membership just after one month due to the rude amateur crowd that regularly patronizes this place. It seems to be more of a hang out spot than a gym. People loiter on the equipment for long periods of time not doing anything but fidgeting with their phones, talking to their friends, and not allowing others to use the equipment. Then other people take the free weights and hold on to them like it’s their personal property. They have several bars stacked next to them as if they’re in their own personal home gym. Not to mention that this place already has a limited amount of good equipment and really isn’t a full gym. Complaints to management go absolutely nowhere, because they’re making money as-is. The budget friendly membership fee attracts a lot of teenagers and chatty people who are not serious about working out. If you’re a person that likes to hit the gym after work & get in a nice 45 min or better workout, this location is not for you. For that reason alone, it’s worth it to pay an extra few dollars and go to a gym where the crowd is actually there to workout and everyone who goes respects that.
At 840 in the morning the garbage bin was over flowing, no paper towel in 3 of the dispensers to wipe the machine,
Convenient but only after like 10pm when its not busy and you can take your time. 24/7 really comes in clutch. During the day you do however get to see lots of potential lol
Not the most attractive gym. But site was clean, all machines were functional and the locker room was surprisingly better than other gyms
This gym has nice equipment and lots of space but the biggest downside is that if you go anytime between 3pm to 9pm on weekdays you literally have no space or equipment to use and the place is filthy. At this time its more of a social club than an exercising facility. People are hogging weights and talking/sitting by the machines without using them. Bathrooms dont have enough hand soap and people leave dirty pieces of paper by the equipment or just throw them on the floor. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because on the weekends the place is pretty empty and you can actually get a good workout.
Decent gym for those looking for an affordable option and the convenience of it being open 24hours which gives you no excuse when it comes to working out.
A manager at the one on Fordham rd gave me false information and I canceled my membership!!! She told me my kids can’t come in at all unless they have an I’D and that was false information. She also failed to mention that I can bring proof of their age and get them added to my card. I literally canceled my membership because of her incompetence🤦🏾♀️

It’s a decent place to get a workout. The only thing is the crowd really has no manner to throw their paper towel in the bin. Instead they just leave it on or near the machines. They don’t wipe it. These bro hound the weights and are it forever.Hate the crowd. I have no other option coz it’s closest to walk to. Plus if i cancel now, i’ll have to pay.Staff is decent and nice. They try their best.

The location is massive. A diverse set of exercise machines. It has weights for those who wanna gain muscles. And ellipticals for those who want to use weight. The machines in this gym vary from light workouts, to intense workouts. They have decent air conditioning. The facility is honestly not clean. They do have paper towels and liquid to clean the machines. I had great experience with the staff.
I love going to this gym. Everyone is super friendly and always helpful. The manager Vanessa is very sweet and professional. She makes the experience easy going and it’s always a pleasure to see a friendly face. Keep up the good work Vanessa. I’ve seen her deal with very rude and disrespectful people in a very nicely manner. Not sure if I would have been able to do the same.
Overall is a decent gym to go to, as far as the staff goes some of them know how to be professional and some of them like to act like they too important to help you, one time I went to buy a bottle of water and it literally took me 10 minutes to get the cashier attention just because she didnt wanted be bother. As far equipment goes everything seems to work but as far the ppl who goes to the gym some of them are very sloppy and like to throw things on the floor like they isnt a garbage can near by but overall is good gym go to but just dont expect a 5 star experience
I recently joined this gym. All the machines work just fine. The staff is nice. The weights area which small, is usually packed with guys mostly talking to each other and on their phones. All the treadmills work fine. The treadmills should face the mirror. I’m not sure what purpose the mirrors serve behind the treads. The abs and stretching area could use some mirrors as well. A water fountain upstairs would be ideal.
Decent place. It has a lot of cardio machines to use but very limited in terms of free weights and strength machines. Monday through Tuesday is very busy in the mornings and evenings, but Friday through Sunday it is not very busy. Since the people going to the gym are our lovely New York brothers and sisters do not be shocked when you try to use the free weights area and people are on there phones talking and texting, are taking dumbbells and not using them, or if the dumbbells you are trying to find are across the room since that guy on his phone hasn’t put them back on the rack and doesn’t intend on doing so.

Unfair charge after 1 year with out authorization for annual membership and not refund, I’ll submit a complain to 311 consumer affairs about this practice, if you cancel before the 1st year you should pay $58, if u cancel on time anyway they charge for the next year. The worst when you go for the black card memberships services the massages beds, massage chairs, and tanning rooms in Fordham location are not in service, same in other locations. They said unlimited use and they only allow to use once or sometimes two times or wait when there no body in the list or waiting list for use this services, also they only allow you to use 2 of this services in any location or go to another location if you want to use it more times, sometime some nice stuff allow me to use 2 times or 2 of this services using one and going back to register after finishing the first and go to the second after waiting for register again. Very bad service, comparing with what they say “unlimited” and unfair. I’ll never go back only to cancel my membership
This gym is disgustingly dirty. Be prepared to come out with about 2 lbs of dirt on you. Restrooms reek of foul odor and urine. Do not sit anywhere without disenfecting. Odd layout. Shocked the dept of health hasnt sanctioned the place. Parking is really hard to find and you have to worry about meters during certain hours.
HORRIBLE! the employees do not do their job! I cancelled my subscription October 8th! today I see a charge of 40 dollars. I have in my hand the cancellation form, on top I called twice after physically going to cancel if everything was good and they said yes they will just make the manager cancel it in the morning AND THEY NEVER DID! I CALLED FOR A REFUND AND THE EMPLOYEE HAS THE AUDACITY TO TELL ME TO GO IN WITH THE FORM TO GET A REFUND! I DONT GOT TIME FOR YOUR INCOMPETENCE! DO YOUR JOB! The worst costumer service experience I ever had!I feel that I should not let this by, unfortunately for me this was the gym I was transfer to due a shut down of the location in which I started my agreement back in 2011. (*) I recently started going to this gym and due to the lacking of staff in order to keep this gym in a neat condition, lack of equipment, over crowded and lastly the amount of attitude given to me by the staff I have decide to go with the competition. Due to the fact that I didnt signed an agreement with them and I was a transfer-account from another location, at the time of canceling my agreement am unnecessary amount of attitude was given to me by the staff at the front desk and was force to sign a termination notice in which I had to pay a last month fee(which Im not going to attend) with a Non-use (Reason of cancellation) when I initially state my reasons for leaving the gym(*)Worst experience ever on customer service by your team and your self Vanessa.
I was subscribed and I cancelled before my second month period ended. They charged me a 40 dollars annual fee. I was not informed that this was going to happen. I tried to get a refund, I sent an email to customer service and they told me that they didnt know anything about it, that I had to contact my gym. I did so, and I was told that theres nothing I can do about it. I am very disappointed, theyre just a bunch of greedy people. If youre looking for advice, then dont even think about joining.
Used to be a member. I don’t really know what’s going on but, they USED TO BE REALLY CLEAN. There’s no maintenance going on at the restrooms or the locker area. It’s rare to see their workers cleaning no wonder why this specific location always no matter the time smells like sweat and dirty restrooms. Would not go here again. Would rather pay a bit more and go to a gym that cares about customer service by providing a clean gym. That’s it.
If youve every watched Friends, theres an episode were Chandler has a membership to a gym he doesnt use; he goes to the gym to cancel his membership with Ross and the gym sends them the hottest people in an attempt to retain their membership.My experience here was nothing like that. I went to cancel my membership and the person helping me simply asked for ID and processed my request, no questions, conversation or care; whats most surprising is the person handling my request was the GM. Could she have changed my mind, unlikely however knowing that my business doesnt matter solidifies my decision to no longer use this facility.
This place ROCKS ! I go after work which is 11pm ( late shift ) ... I’m so happy it’s open all day !! Nice & Clean ! And I love the environment !! Everyone is minding there own Business ! 😂 I can work out peaceful 🙏☺️.. the front guy is very nice all the time ! Always saids hello when I enter ! And good by 🤣👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 when I’m leaving! I recommend this place ! Go go get your work out
Good gym. Sometimes not enough machines or weights available (especially during late afternoon or evening hours). If I go during overnight hours during the week or from 7am - 12 noon on the weekends (before it gets really crowded, dirty and sloppy), I am usually satisfied.
The gym itself is fine. My only complaint is the staff blasts the overhead music too loud. You cant hear your own music from your earphones. Youre forced to workout to whatever they pump.
The gym is always packed and theres never any paper towel or soap in the bathroom. The workers can all be found behind the front desk and because of this, maintenance is a reoccurring issue. Whos monitoring the area to ensure things run smoothly? The assistant manager can be seen actively working the floor, but the manager (heavyset man) seems to do much less. He is unapproachable and seems to lack professionalism. I know its just a gym, but there has to be some level of professional conduct...
Adequate and cheap, needs less treadmills and more variety
Usually crowded between 9a-12p and then to 5p-8pm enought workoit machines to train everybody requirements, staff is ok.
I stopped using this space 3 years ago because it was dirty, my locker was broken into and it took police 3 hrs to stop by and management didnt seem to concerned, said happens on a regular.Because the gym is close to my house and the 225th location was closed, I came back for another go and to my surprise I had a solid workout and like the new Machines. So Ive been back 3x and yesterday reality set in. No Air Circulation, Hot, Filthy, Funky, People Just Sitting Machines on their Phones, Weights all over the place. Some things are what they are though this location has potential, the management team here go through the motions and its sad. When you go to other states like Maryland and North Carolina you dont experience this type of High Quality Disappointment. Clean Up This Spot Because It Has Potential.
Positive energy. Judge free zoneAfter such a good start, I am disappointed, my experience yesterday was extremely disappointing.
Yesterday was my first day back at this location in quite some time. Last year I used to work out at the location on 225th and Broadway, primarily. Although yesterday was a Saturday and therefore, low traffic, comparing the two sites 225th is WAY cleaner!!! Staff are always going around cleaning the machines and mopping the floors. I dont ever recall such attention to cleanliness back when I used to work out at the Fordham site. Having said that, I needed help updating my account yesterday and the manager came right away. I had a great workout and look forward to resuming a regular exercise schedule at this site.
It is so good to be back in a gym. Definitely the best place to go if you want to burn a few pounds and build figure. The protocol for Covid prevention really helps with social distance.

Its an alright gym doesnt have many cardio machines or free weight areas; there are two Smiths machines instead of free weight bench presses something to keep in mind. There is entertainment and the machines and areas are always kept clean. Showers and toilet areas have good upkeep. Theres vending machines for protein bars locks earphones etc.
The gym needs more space and be more cleaner. The womans bathroom is always a mess. Also knowing that people wont smell good after exercise they should have sprays hanging to maintain it with a better smell. I also think they should have a staff explainning the purpose of each machine. Just saying!
Love this place. But recently it has not been up to standards. When I come its filthy. I found gum in the machines and tissues all over. This site was clean when covid rules was in forced what happened?
The manager at the location is very very unprofessional. Hardly ever has time for the members & whenever i call the gym to ask about my membership she is never available even on the hours shes in because her staff tells me. Just very unprofessional & her attitude as well isnt the best. You guys really have to fix up this gym machines always break & the hydro massage beds never work when i want to use them . Please get new management asap .
Seriously who is writing these reviews. This is by far the worst location Ive ever been to. Its hot as hell it smells bad unsanitary women restrooms. The guys hog the machines all night, like why do all 10 of you have to cypher around each other (weird). The only positive is that if you go really early morning or really late night you may avoid the above.
This is the dirtiest, worst location Ive ever been to but its planet fitness so you cant expect any better. The floors are always full of used paper towels, half of the equipment are broken and the locker rooms forget about it, if youre planning on signing up for this location DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH you will be disappointed 20 days later when they charged you $30 the same month you sign up for an annual charge. I have never seen the manager but it seems like she cares very little about her location, the staff told me I had a membership with a contract when I didnt. When I told him I wanted to cancell my membership they tried to charge me. For a membership with no contract! They then proceeded to tell me that its free to cancell if I come after the 26 but thats when they will charge you the annual fee so it absolutely not free to cancell.

I go early in the morning so it never crowded and clean. Great place to utilize all the machine. I wish staff was around more to say you should try this machine like this you will have better result.. But overall it a great place.
My rating has nothing to do with the gym but with management. I moved out of NY and forgot to cancel my membership, when I called to figure out what to do I was told that I could send a certified letter requesting the cancellation ( I sent two, and both were returned to me) I called wanting to talk to the manager and the guy refused talking to me and kept me in hold a couple of times for a long time. After I got tired of the treatment i ended up closing my bank account what caused me a lot of inconvenience. I wish that morbidly obese guy don’t work there anymore ( his body weight has nothing to do with his incompetence but I can’t recall his name)
The staff always has a bad attitude. I’ve been trying to get my account frozen for a few months now because I’m pregnant and don’t want to pay for a membership that I am currently NOT using because of my situation. Nobody is trying to help me, every time I try to get in contact with the manager they either tell me “she’s not here”, “she’s in a meeting”, “call back in the morning”, “it’s best if you come in.” I’m so frustrated as I’m having a tough time in my pregnancy and trying to explain to an employee named Stephanie that I want to freeze the account and she’s telling me that I need to bring in a few documents and That there is nothing they can do to help me. Honestly such a scam. I’m going to pay off my membership and never deal with planet fitness again.
They rip you off, they don’t disclose clauses before signing a contract. Pls read the fine print before signing any contract. The staff are rude and unhelpful particularly the manager that is never around. Terminating your contract takes forever and almost impossible. Avoid this place and save your money, go somewhere else.

This planet fitness do not seem to care about customer safety during COVID. Lines are always long . Employees are not friendly. Sanitizer and paper are often not refilled.

Planet homeless. Gym bathroom stinks and the smell reaches the gym entrance. 200 homeless doing NOTHING next to the customers every single afternoon. More if is raining or snowing. Lockers room look like someone will assault you any minute. Ive seen customer peeing in the showers like they are using the toilets. IM GLAD I CANCELLED MY NO COMMITMENT MEMBERSHIP.

I don’t want to give stars but yes- these 3 stars are for ..they are open 24/7, they try to keep it clean(but not always). Very less space for weights, since it’s cheap, always crowded with students and their noise. Finally it looks like a school/college gym.
Planet fitness the worst gym to workout ...not body wants to share equipment, not body know how many sets do they have when you ask them..they simply say oh I got a lot...they rest in the machine touching they phone while they resting but when you ask them can I workout with you I am doing the same workout.. they said not...planet fitness need signs that tell his clients that equipment can be share by a least 3 or 4 people at times...signs that say not to rest in the machine...please they need to put a lot of signs ...please people that go to planet fitness share it is beautiful to share with others everybody pay for membership people work people can go there I wait till some people finish 20 minutes workout in 1 machine...n ot body can workout for 10, 20, not even 5 minutes straight..please while you resting let someone else do his workout....planet fitness need to improve that....
This Gym is falling apart, dirty, equipments all over the place, men’s locker rooms without lights, restrooms are always dirty. The staff are not friendly, very unprofessional. Oh well what can you espect it’s the BRONX.
Locker rooms are dirty, too many people congregating around the equipment they arent using, and members have no concept of personal space. Westchester Avenue location off of Pelham Park is cleaner, members are respectful, and the equipment is well maintained.
Great location! They keep the locker room nice and clean, and thats always a major plus. If youre thinking about checking out planet fitness and need a Bronx location, I suggest this one.

Staff here make working out not horrible lolIm loving the hydro therapy machine.I just wish done of the clients were more thoughtful, wipe down the machines and dont sit there when youre done using it.

This gym has ZERO equipment, everyone hogs everything, the dumbbells are a joke, the trainers suck, the machines are always either jammed or just not worth using and you won’t get any gains here. They don’t even have the original bench press

New equipment is much better..a few $$ more and invest in cardio machines to charge cell phones next time. Patrons can be very messy..i hate having sticky sneakers after using the mens room..

Worst planet fitness Ive ever been too. Theyre in need of new machines theyre all dated. Every toilet in the womens locker was clogged. Overall a very small space and poorly staffed. Halfway through my workout I grabbed my stuff and went to the one around the corner on kinsgbridge.

When they first open 5 start but now only 3 stars the staff they dont really keep the bathrooms clean between 5pm to 9 pm in the morning everything is clean the staff in the afternoon they need to improve better job maintaining the gym clean onother very important thing make sure is always spray and paper for the costumers so we can clean the sweet when we finished or using the machines.Lockers they need to be fix some of them are broke and staff stop using to many lockers to put the things that you use to clean the bathrooms put those things away in a designated are please not enough lockersI hope somebody fix this complaintsBefore I speak to the General managerIm a member 4 years maybe morePlease I spect better job THANKS. .Sorry I forgot to say not enough banches in the lockers is only 2 we need 42 on each side just think about it you got more than 40 lockers

Mostly clean, though sometimes inconsistent. Equipment is well maintained. The layout is scattered & not very spacious, but its a good workout spot.

I have been a Member of Planet Fitness for few years..;however , not in all the years have ever encounter an effiecent , self proficient and firm yet always caring and smiling Manager , Venessa Cruz... I have been from Buhre , Grand Concourse, Castlehill , New Rochelle, etc.... and I have not seen what I have and still do experience in Planet Fitness on east Fordham..... Genuine Respect for all Members with out loosing disposition in character and work ethic.... Staff works well together ... I also would like To add inspite of the high demand in business in health and fitness , and not enough works for the demand this location has and still does well ........ I am a business professional in Fitness and this is where I like to go due to the Rapport of Management and staff and cleanliness.... I hope they all get credit where credit is due! Dealing with multiple personalities and threads when members don’t get there way; Yet still Venessa Stays above reproach with all members and delegates staff well.Thank you ,Dora

Idk why people are bashing it so much. Comparing it to other Planet Fitness clubs in the Bronx area, its one of the nicer ones. It is a relatively smaller gym, there is not a lot of weight training machines, tons of cardio machines though. To me, this is one of the PF gyms that you stop in for a quick cardio workout or weight training (when its not crowded).
Well I go to the one in the Bronx which is located at 309 East Fordham road Bronx, NY 10458. People there are very helpful no matter what time what day they always willing to help as a trainer or a regular staff I would not take my business anywhere else but that there its clean and there is always a machine available to use and it is all thanks to Jahnay, Vanessa, Jose, Kishon thank you..

Its a gym, whats not to love? They have a tanning booth, hydromassage bed, & massage chairs when you finish working out & lots of machines, a circuit training area, tvs playing different channels at every machine for you to watch during your workout
Ive been to this location 3 times and everytime the manager an heavy set guy(I assume cause he always have an attitude and unpleasant with workers) never greet or want to talk , when I have a qustion he says WHAT!!! Like Im begging him something. I could clearly understand why my friends go elsewhere
Nice gym pretty clean , can do a little better though its the patrons that are dirty. But i still go there and do my workout.
This gym is becoming worse everyday ever since they close grand concorse gym and combine the gym. its busy everyday of the week and its almost a line to use the machines.. theres machines that dont get use that could be exchanged for ones that will be used , just making a suggestion.. makes me not want to come and join blink.
Nice gym but horrible parking situation. Their is a lot but is it always filled. You have to park by target and walk to the gym.

The upstairs has no air flow, no air conditioning , not even fans. Such an uncomfortable situation to work out in. Im sweating because Im roasting not because of my workout. Hope its fixed soon!

Probably the worst gym I’ve been to, first time getting my membership card an employee steals my wallet. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone that’s just ghetto.
I had a terrible experience at this gym well myself and 2 friends of mine we were all hatraswd there just for working out together the manager Vanessa constantly harassed us in a daily basis and there are plenty of people there working out together and there nothing being said to th ultimately they banned all four of us who just happened to be of African descent and refused to show me where in writing it states that you cant work out together no refund issued at all
This gym has to be one of the most unkept gyms in new york in my opinion. The machines are constantly out of order. Left over paper towels are every where. The people at the front desk are not pleasant.
A good place to workout in peace since it is never full of people.

This place rocks, the workers are very friendly its sometimes dirty during the afternoon when its really crowded, but Ive particularity noticed that the worker Steven is usually at work, shootout to the fact I usually see him working alone, he makes it so when come in the evening the place is smelling fresh again.

2022-06-04I like the convience of the place and the hours. But the gym stinks all the time. Lack of supplies like toilet paper hand paper and cleaning sprays, hand soap. There is a clear lack of sanitizer dispensers. Machines are broken, broken lockers and out of use for a long time. A constant problem for me is the lack of weights downstairs the some members are always hogging up the time on the free weights. And now they allowing kids in the gym for the whole summer for free. I went last Friday and it was packed like a club. There has to be a fire safety capacity limit as to how many members can be in the gym at a time.

2022-02-23I go to this gym every day and I never see a manager around. The gym is seriously lacking inventory and organization. There is a need for more weights and dumbbells. There are 5 mats for the entire gym???? Hooks are missing. There are 7 benches total, so good luck getting to one first. No extra small ones around for those who don’t want to lift under the bars. The soap dispenser in the woman’s bathroom has been broken for months. The stairmaster was out of order for MONTHS before it was fixed. There are so many things that need improvement. Again, staff does the best they can, (shoutout to Omar!) but management needs to step up and actually stock up on equipment. There are more and more members signing up every day and inventory is staying the same. It really doesn’t make sense and management clearly doesn’t care. Just a few suggestions to start. Please do better for your members.

2022-05-07I go here periodically when in the Bronx, and about 3 weeks ago, I went at 9:30pm- and when I got back to my locker at 11:30pm, it had been broken into. My brand new MOOSE KNUCKLES coat was stolen, wallet gone, credit cards, I. D and keys, all GONE. They did leave my pants and bag, though. And they even took the lock itself. It was a Master combination lock. So, if you go here, don’t use the lockers.Incidentally, I went to the gym on w35th the week prior, and I actually forgot to close the lock on my locker and didn’t notice until I returned to the locker room to leave, yet all my belongings were still there!Well, I the cops TWICE! They never came, so I left. Then 2 hours later, they called and said they had arrived at the gym, AFTER I had to Uber home with a tank top and no coat, on a cold night! No cameras inside the locker room, of course. I did go back the next day and speak to the assistant manager, she was sympathetic. The staff as a whole was understanding, actually. But I was not allowed to view the cameras to see if anyone walked out with my coat on, or to see whose bag may have seemed over STUFFED when exiting. They said only the cops could view it.BTW, I did go to the precinct and file a police report on my next day off, but I am not optimistic about this outcome.I had to cancel all my cards, order everything again, replace the locks on my home, since they had my I.D my and my keys. Just terribly inconvenient. Who the F*** steals someone’s coat? Will I ever see my SOLD OUT coat again? I’m so happy I didn’t wear any jewelry that day.Why leave my valuable belongings in a locker, someone asked. Well, why NOT? Am I to carry around a down coat while working out? I’ve been going to gyms since I was teen, and I’ve never had anything stolen from me, or from anyone I know. I haven’t gone to this location since. But if I see someone with this unique coat on in this area, I’m getting my coat BACK!!!

2022-06-14I go between 12 and 5am no crowd. I got to use tje machines i wanted that usually r dominated by men. My daughter went at 12midniggt and she ran into that issue of men dominating the machine ...planet f needs to assert time limits on machines men r so aggressive @the wrong time! They have massage chairs didnt like the bak massage.and their hydro machine is broke! Awesum time though n clean that selfish people stuff is the whack there!

2020-01-21It has ALMOST everything you need for a decent workout. They renovated the bathrooms but it still looks a tad dingy and dark. Youre not allowed to jump rope in the gym which makes no sense as thats the most intense form of cardio. The tanning beds are dirty and massage beds never work but for $10 per month its functional enough to get you started on your fitness journey, esp if youre a newbie. The black card is approximately $20 (per month) and allows you to add 1 to 2 guests onto your account. Inquire at front desk about initiation fees.

2022-07-16Having not been to this location in a few years I rejoined recently. While after 4:30 it got quite crowded and it took me a while to get used to the new machines by my second visit, earlier in the day, my second workout went much more smoothly. Situated close to home, I am glad I decided to go back.

2022-02-10My husband used to work out there but a few months ago the lady at the reception started being so rude and unprofessional.One time she did not let him in because his clothes were not proper for exercising, which seems so stupid and unreasonable because that day he was wearing sweatpants. He came back the next day with exercise clothes and this time she asked for proof of vaccination which he had a photo and his ID photo as well on his phone but this person refused and didn’t even want to see them on his phone claiming that she needs to see a real card. Non sense at all. This kind of staff shouldn’t be there. So disappointed.

2017-10-31Best option in NYC right now. Ive tried 24 hour fitness(complete garbage) and blink fitness(okay but small, less locations and not open 24 hours). I am used to very high end gyms from Dallas Texas so I was dissatisfied at the weak options in NYC but planet fitness is definitely the best choice right now.-Someone that has been trying out different gyms all his life.
