I ordered a heart cactus plant mid January, I paid for the white ceramic pot as a surprise for my boyfriend and they delivered the black one which I didn’t like but I was too nice and didn’t say anything, 2-3 weeks later we noticed the plant was starting to turn yellow. We read into care instructions and made sure it wasn’t dying coz of anything we did or didn’t do. Now the plant is pretty much dead and I reached to these people letting them know exactly what happened and got the most robotic response ever saying it’s past 30 days and they can’t help me, which would have been fine if they had got my order right to begin with since they didn’t, they very much are obligated to help me but nope! DONT SHOP FROM THIS BUSINESS! Buyer be aware! They also don’t sell the plant anymore, which again raises suspicion, never shopping from this business again.
I sometimes stop in for a coffee before dropping my kids off at school. Today we had some extra time and my daughter was checking out flowers and naming colors. A really sweet employee stopped and just gave my daughter the most beautiful rose 🌹. I will forever be a loyal customer, it was such a kind, sweet gesture. If employees are kind, youll have my business forever ❤️
This store is amazing. It can be overwhelming, but dont fear! Frankie and Jay were absolutely wonderful, honest, and helpful. They have an excellent selection, but most importantly, the customer service is great. They are super patient with questions and take the time you are left happy and not oversold. Will be back!
My parents always send me flowers from PlantShed and they are always far more gorgeous than any arrangement Ive received from other florists. I just yesterday received an arrangement that has absolutely blown me away. Ive never left a review on a company page before but this company deserves it. Truly the best. The photo doesnt do them justice!
Jonathan Peralta and the team of artists at Plantshed created the most beautiful arrangement for our socially-distanced Zoom wedding. I described what we wanted and their interpretation went beyond my imagination. They were so thoughtful of our requests, even in the midsts of what I’m sure was a hectic Valentine’s Day! Our flowers were beyond gorgeous and we felt they really took time and effort to make our V-day wedding extra special. I highly recommend them for any occasion. We are so grateful!
A cozy little hidden gem of a cafe, nestled inside a flower shop. Great coffee and pastries, as well as a nice selection of cold drinks. I loved being surrounded by plants and flowers as I had my coffee and found it to be a wonderful way to take a breather in the afternoon. The atmosphere is perfect for getting some work done on a laptop, reading a book, or just having a quiet moment to yourself (a rarity these days in NY!).
Might have the prettiest flowers online….but bouquet delivered (on right) is NOT equivalent in fullness, quality, or price. Very disappointed and customer service was not helpful and stood by their subpar quality and service. Strongly urge you take your business elsewhere.
Ordered two wreaths, two bunches of greens and a decorated garland. Wanted to shop local, but this wasnt a good experience. Garland was very, very thin in the center and had almost no decorations at all, two tiny pinecones and one tiny red ornament, two tiny very fake plastic bunches of red berries on over 6ft. Everything was completely flattened delivered in a plastic shopping bag, especially the two wreaths which were like pancakes. No wire hangers for wreaths. Its gotten to the point where fake looks more real than real.
I ordered flowers delivered to my sister who is recuperating from a procedure. I thought shed be resting and family would receive the delivery. I should have known that shed still want to be in charge! She got confused & refused delivery several times. Luckily, Eddie, the persevering delivery guy and an intervening family member, prevailed and the lovely bouquet was delivered and my sister was delighted. Thank you Eddie & Plant Shed.
I ordered a bouquet of flowers to be delivered for a friend of mine in NY, I myself live in Australia. My friend loved her flowers and said they are beautiful. I think the price was very good too, I compared it against other flower delivery services in NY and it was certainly competitive. The website is super easy to use and very professional. Thank you so much!
PlantShed has been my go-to plant shop for years! With an incredibly knowledgeable and helpful staff, a huge selection of pots and planters, and a 4th floor greenhouse, this place is unbeatable. You wouldnt expect a plant shop this large to be found in Manhattan; its a gem!
Update two on trying to get a pour over. No line, and pretty empty. Cashier said unfortunately we cant do pour over. I said, oh why is that? She turned to woman working with her, well were allowed to say no if its busy. I looked around to see if it had gotten busy. Then they went to make drip, it was empty and offered to do the pour over. Another employee showed up and they asked where the manual for pour over is? About 10-15 minutes later the seemingly more experienced employee completed our order of two pour overs. I was happy they were both hot and tasty.Im not sure why pour over is listed as available at this point. Its unclear why three employees cannot handle this. Yes, while waiting other customers came in and ordered various drinks. At no point did was their a line waiting to order or drinks getting backed up. Ive seen grumpy, bluebottle et al handle this easily. The employee discretion to not produce items from the menu is really not acceptable.Have been enjoying this place. Really disappointed that when I ordered pour over I was told only available between 10-5, it was a few minutes after 5.Attempt 3 actually went well and was tasty.Attempt 4 told staff is new and not trained yet on pour over. They were friendly and suggested I go to blue bottleAttempt 5 was success and pour over was made by someone other than the manager. It tasted excellent.
Going to PlantShed is always a great excursion. Their plant displays show a wide variety of whats possible, their ceramic pots on sale are modern, with options that range from whimsical to sleek to the basics.Staff are always incredibly friendly and know their stuff; feel free to ask questions.Weve used their delivery service as well, which has always arrived well packaged.
Great coffee and delicious pastries! The cheddar scon was amazing as well as the cookie. Its a lovely cafe with a green garden that makes it even nicer.Restrooms are really clean and incredibly enough they smell really good.Staff is super nice. The only missing is a little oven to heat the food.
The new location has a full glass store front. It is bright and beautiful. I got all my questions answered and items I needed to re-pot a plant.During the winter they took great care of my money tree that had pests infiltrating it. It survived and is slowly bouncing back to health.
I’m so impressed with plantshed. First of all their flowers are beautiful. I had an issue with one order and called Jonathan who immediately took responsibility and replaced the flowers. It’s not often you get this type of service and attention. It really is above and beyond service. Most importantly their offering is outstanding and well priced. I highly recommend.
Ordered the most amazing bridal bouquet and bridal flowers from Plant Shed (placed order with their manager Jay) I did my due diligence and shopped around. This was the best bang for your buck. The quality, design and service were 2nd to none. Yes there are many amazing designers, but I didn’t have to go in debt for my event flowers. My bride was ecstatic and hasn’t stopped talking about her bouquet. Happy Bride, Happier Wedding Planner!
Plantshed was amazing! Being Indian, Im not very familiar with the western funeral process. A childhood friend of my passed in NYC and wanted to send flowers to his parents. I had ordered an arrangement more applicable for a funeral than one to display in ones house. When plantshed saw that the delivery was to an apt and not a funeral venue, they called and let me know what I had ordered was more so for funeral service. The woman on the phone let me know they would arrange similar white flowers in a vase instead. I thought it was so kind and thoughtful of them to call and ask to make sure. I dont live in NYC but of I ever need and flowers again I know where to go! Highly recommend.
If more stars were available, Id rate this place with 10 of them. Not only is the store beautiful, but the two employees who helped me, Ella and Maria, are amazingly wonderful. I was shown around and explained to, with enthusiasm, all of the plants that would thrive in my amply lit apartment. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and total experience at the PlantShed and I will be back for all of my gardening needs.
This rating is for PlantShed’s online delivery. Ordered some flowers for Mother’s Day. The morning of, they call and tell me they don’t have what I ordered and have to substitute with something else. Why couldn’t they have mentioned this beforehand? I placed my order days in advance. Next, the substitute order was supposed to arrive in a window between 9 am and 5 pm. Given our location, I figure the order would arrive early afternoon at latest. Not the case. When I called, I got a surly response that PlantShed’s orders are delivered sometime between 9 am and 5 pm. Didn’t even get the status of my order or an ETA. Horrible customer service and not ordering from them again. Stay away from PlantShed.
Cashier nice owner rude. If youre condescending no ones going to want to come back to your business. Theres always a nice way to speak even if youre having a bad day especially if youre in the service business. Drinks are basic not worth it and especially with the owners attitude definitely not worth the stop. Had a really good day minus this visit.
Would rate 0 if I could. I ordered a bouquet to be delivered on Valentine’s Day between 5-9pm. I received order confirmation, and was billed. The flowers did not arrive. When I contacted them the next day, I was told there was a glitch and promised an upgraded bouquet would be delivered on Friday 2/15 between 5-9.... it never arrived. Then when I followed up I got an email at 11:30 the following day claiming my flowers had been delivered... they hadn’t Incompetent, fraudulent, and full of excuses. I hope they respond here and try to spin this one. There’s a hundred florists in New York- don’t make the same mistake I made. Avoid PlantShed if you want to see your flowers.Chris
I was so impressed and pleased with the service given to me when I asked for help with re-potting some favorite old plants! Lauren in Customer Service is amazing -- knowledgeable, cheerful, smart, ready to help with anything.I was also bowled over by the efficiency with which they pick up and deliver, something I didnt know...my pots are way too heavy for me to carry even downstairs (I dont have an elevator), but the delivery guys had no problem and were prompt and courteous.I highly recommend this home service.
I visited their cafe in Nolita with my girlfriend to book a surprise bouquet for a friend’s art gallery. We picked one of their online options and coordinated with the store manager to customize the flowers, then placed the order a week ahead to ensure the delivery for next Saturday “by 2PM latest”.Called the service line during the week to make sure everything was on track. They promised “we will definitely create the freshest product that’s worth your $400 and deliver it on time.”Didn’t hear anything from them until Saturday 12:30PM so we decided to call their line again. The lady straight told me “we haven’t started making your bouquet yet and it will be delayed beyond 2PM”. No apologies or explanation whatsoever. We insisted for a photo update as well as rush delivery because our schedule was all messed up due to this delay - again, no signs of apologies throughout the back and forth.Little after 1PM we received the photo of the bouquet which looked like the online default design. Responded with our order customization details - no response. Radio silence, no text update or anything to provide me the delivery status. At this point we already gave up. It wasn’t until 2:45PM when the bouquet finally got delivered to the destination. The store in Nolita was cute, however it’s the bad corporate service that caused this unhappy experience. If a flower business can’t keep promises and doesn’t respect customers’ priorities, I would certainly not go back and recommend to others.
I LOVE this place! My friend buys me flowers from here whenever we have lunch around the area. Arlette is AMAZING and always helps him find the prettiest flowers for me She is a sweetheart and we always have fun conversations with her. This flower shop has the most beautifulest fresh flowers ever and we are always amazed by all the different types of flowers they carry. Definitely my favorite flower shop.
I’ve been using Scotts flowers for years now, along with my friends and family, and they never cease to amaze me. I’ve gotten bouquets for my birthday, promotional reasons at work and for Valentine’s Day, I’ve also purchased them for several occasions and ON MY Friend they are the most beautiful flowers I’ve ever seen. They also last way longer than any other flowers I’ve purchased, and they smell as if they have fallen straight from heaven. Thanks for so many beautiful flowers you guys! 10/8 would recommend to ANYONE in need of some classy flower arrangements.
I spoke with Leslie at Plant Shed. I told her I had to have something delivered for my boss right away even though its so close to 5pm. She was extremely friendly and more than accommodating to service my less than patient needs. She even called to see if the messenger was able to deliver the flowers on foot. I am very satisfied with the customer service and will be glad to use their store for future florists orders. Thanks again!
PlantShed by far the best service with the most beautiful selection of flowers. Never disappointing. My Most recent purchase was for a funeral basket. Even with the late night purchase, they were on time and the arrangement was better than I pictured. Highly recommended. Thank you
I went to the plant shed to buy orchid soil. When I looked at the label, I realized that there was no bark in the mix and the book that I was reading recommended a mix with some bark. So I asked the man behind the counter how I could make the soil that I wanted. He was unbelievably rude, snotty and unhelpful. He told me that he had been growing orchids for years and I was wrong, I should not use wood chips. And then he told me that he couldn’t help me because I didn’t have the right kind of light in my apartment. My orchids are moth orchids and I have windows that get a nice amount of light. Needless to say, I will be looking for another place to buy my plants and soil from.
Ok .... so I am changing my review again! I left an unfavorable review 2 days ago because my beautiful hydrangeas were infested with aphids. I received a prompt call from Jay and he/ they are going to deliver new hydrangeas and soil to replant them! Thank you for your prompt attention, my balcony is my sanctuary and having beautiful, healthy plants and flowers are what make it so. I will continue to frequent this establishment as they do have a huge selection and very helpful staff ☺
I recently lost my dad and placed an order for flowers at the plant shed. I saw their ad online and contacted them. They answered all my questions and explained what we had to do. The flowers arrived at the scheduled time as promised and we were able save online with there promo ad. The flowers were even more beautiful in person then the pictures online. I wanted to share my experience with them. Thank you for adding the special touches on this important day!!!
Ive passed PlantShed many times over the last 5 years but never went inside until yesterday. Ive been missing out! Christina (sp?) at the check-out counter was so helpful when I asked for a recommendation for a small plant for my desk. I ended up with a spider-plant sibling which was already potted, for just $20. The store is also just beautiful to be inside. Helpful folks, good prices, and as a plus: A Beyonce album was playing when I visited. I also picked up a couple of mini pumpkins as it is Halloween season. Ill be back!
My go to florist in NYC a) the website is easy to navigate and ordering is easy b) the flowers actually (no!?!) look like they do on the website when they arrive c) everyone I have sent them to has been delighted and thats why you send flowers, after all. Ive seen cheaper sites, but not better. Ill spend a couple more dollars to ensure that what is delivered communicates my gratitude, love etc.
I stopped in at Plantshed on a whim, liked the style of one of the arrangements on display, and ended up ordering my wedding bouquet on the spot. The person who helped me took the time to understand the kind of arrangement I wanted (loose, bright, natural), and it turned out to be so perfect for our small outdoor ceremony! They also made a boutonnière for $10. I’m so glad I stopped by!
Extremely extremely bad service. Placed an order for flowers to be delivered to the hospital. The website confirmed next day delivery. Subsequently they emailed me saying the requested flowers are not available and suggested to send red roses to someone hospitalised when the order was for yellow flowers. After multiples emails an alternative bouquet was proposed and they promised it will be delivered the next day. The order was placed on Tuesday, till Saturday afternoon the order has yet to be received and the patient has since been discharged. Flower advisor did not respond to any of my emails since Tuesday and no one picks up on their hotlines. Very very very bad service. Never going to use them ever again.
Awesome experience on crazy short notice. A friend was performing a 1 woman show and we forgot to buy flowers. After calling 1 flower shop you said they count help they recommend PlantShed . I was about 10 mins away on foot and called with my flower emergency. The fact that they were closing in 5mins didnt matter, I walked in and they were wrapping the best bouquet of flowers you could imagine. Huge thanks!
Dont listen to the bad reviews these guys really go above and beyond. They are friendly, knowledgeable and fair. I accidentally bought a large ceramic pot without drainage holes and tried to drill holes in it myself but couldnt get through it and they still let me return it. They have great people working for them. Ive been going there for more than five years and they have a customer for life.
Easily the largest floral shop in NYC and definitely my favorite as well. Plant shed carries everything!! Flowers are top quality and last forever, and when I bought too much one day, they delivered for me (instead of me carrying several vases and bunches of flowers through the subway at rush hour!) There prices are excellent, even for Valentines Day roses.Great knowledge of flower varieties and they also give easy tips on how to make your flowers last. Love this store!
I happened upon plant shed about 5 years ago when planning a hawaiin themed baby shower (in freezing feb.) the manager, Jay, walked me through a ton of my ideas and ultimately had 30 gorgeous fresh orchid leis delivered, along with amazing tuberose arrangements. The event was beautiful. Since then, I use them for everything from thank- you flowers to ordering my Christmas tree. What I love is that I can just send an email with the info, a few pics and its all set, same day. For those of us who hate the phone and like dealing with familiar people, this is fantastic. Prices are fair, quality is excellent. this is a quintessential New York Family business, and I for one make a point to always support them over any new silly aps generated out of Silicon Valley.
So I placed an order for a dozen red roses and a mylar balloon for Valentines Day. Id never used this company before but I hoped for the best based on reviews and a recommendation. What she received was a dozen roses that were already aging, complete with brown spots and cracks on the petals. I can only imagine that they decided to unload whatever roses they had sitting around, because by the end of the day they even started to smell like they were several days old and the water was old. There is no acceptable excuse for a company, especially one that has been around for thirty year years, to release a delivery of roses in this condition.I will now be contacting my credit card company, securing roses from elsewhere and definitely not using Plant Shed again. The only bright side here is that I have enough time to go and hand select a new dozen.
Great place to buy flowers in-person and online. Theyve been a neighborhood flower and plant store for decades, but I was delighted to see they now have an online service. Had my first online experience this week and it was great, with the flowers delivered attractively and on-time.
This is an update of my previous review. Within an hour of posting a review about my diseased plant, PlantShed contacted me expressing regret about my experience and wanting to make it right. Apparently they hadnt received my email, which was why they hadnt addressed my complaint. They offered to replace my plant, and within two days, I had a healthy replacement. I spoke with them on the phone, and they assured me they were very concerned with customer satisfaction. They certainly followed through . . . and I am a satisfied customer!
The end of a long run!!! They moved... it is now Cafe Plantsh*t...15 years of darting into the Best Flower Shop ever for a quick great fresh bundle of flowers... no more... not since the move to Amsterdam Ave...Please management help resolve thisCheers GraciasEMPTY VASE...😖🤔😪😪😪
Google forces me to select at least one star to post this review, but I would have preferred no stars. Way to take an act of kindness and turn it into a total drag. A friend of mine sent me just-because flowers. Delivery was supposed to be Monday. Its Wednesday and this morning I returned a missed call on my phone, which ended up being PlantShed. The person who answered was so rude that I nearly hung up the phone- but when she took my name and located the order, she asked me if I would be at my office building until 4 PM to accept delivery. Thats a 10 AM to 4 PM delivery window. How convenient. Worse than waiting for the cable guy. After waiting all day. Still no delivery.PS- Spare me the canned response Please also be advised that posting fake reviews is against googles policies. This is NOT a fake review and there are enough bad reviews on this thread for you to accept the feedback as genuine and make some changes.
The selection varies greatly depending on time of year as one might expect. But for a Manhattan garden store they have a fair selection. The prices are high but competitive for NYC. Better then most you will find south of 96th st. The staff here is hit or miss. So e are very helpful others take serious work to get there attention. Checking out always seems to take forever for some reason. Overall for Manhattan its about as good as you will do.
The orchids you selected for us were perfect. Its hard to find a florist when calling from out of state but Plant Shed gave us good advice and the delivery was right on time. We really appreciated receiving a photograph of what we sent. Thank you Plant Shed,. Well use you again.
Amazing! Beautiful tree. We got a ficus Benjamin from plantshed today. It is perfect, just as in the photos and no yellow leaves. I never leave* reviews but I had to, im impressed with it. Perfect and in time for Christmas season. I also like to mention we live outside of Manhattan (about 1hr away ) and they delivered withing the time frame they gave. Will Definitely recommend.
Wow, this place is completely unreliable and has the worst service!Try not to ruin someones birthday next time! They were supposed to deliver flowers first thing in the morning on my birthday, a surprise from my husband. Never came. My husband was like..wait.. you didnt receive the surprise flowers? We called to follow up a couple times but we were put on hold and then hung up on. Sounds like they dont respond after they have your money!
I have just moved back to New York after many years and one of my priorities was to ensure I had a bit of life in my small apartment to balance the heavy cityscape all around all of us all the time. Once my apartment was set up I sent Plantshed photos of where I wanted plants along with my need to have low maintenance foliage - within the week I had a presentation in my inbox with a variety of plants that would work with the space and light I had. In addition, my designer masterfully made recommendation of easy to care for/forgiving plants. Plantshed delivered and ensured the plants looked good. After a week I noticed one of the pots was cracked and with ease and grace and no extra charge the plant and pot were replaced the next day. I could not be more pleased with my experience working with Plantshed. It is a family owned company who has made a fine name for itself in the NY Metro area. Tim was my designer and he was awesome! If you want, to liven up your place with minimal shopping and gardening effort - I would recommend Plantshed.
Went in a couple weeks ago, not knowing anything about plants. I had the pleasure of working directly with the general manager Jay Casiano. Not only did help educate me on what would work best in my apartment but he helped me get exactly what I was looking for. He was very polite and knowledgable. He helped me pick out everything down to the pots. I was trying to surprise my wife before she got home and he got my plants to me right away even in the short time frame that was provided. Not to mention my wife loved them! Overall, the store was great, much bigger inside then it looks on the ourside and Jay was amazing. Definitely going back!
I ordered a flower delivery and asked them to print a letter that was longer than the allowed amount. They printed, arranged the bouquet, and delivered the flowers within 1-2 hours. I never leave reviews, but this went exponentially better than I could have imagined. I worked with Nathalie, who did everything possible to make this happen. Overall, I couldnt have imagined a better experience.
Owner called me and is sending me a new bouquet. So Happy.I ordered the Bisou Bisou arrangement and the flowers arrived looking weathered and not fresh at all. Im not sure the bouquet will make it more then a few days.I emailed, received a reply rather quickly but was told they are the freshest they have :(I wont be buying from them again.
I live in Florida and I called PlantShed, it was a last minute thing and I needed these flowers delivered that day and it was in a timely manner, not only that they delivered it on time, the flowers were beautiful. The girl that took my information was very nice and professional.Thank you again PlantShed A+ all the way. 👍🏼
We spent the past two days at NYC Plant Shed after our dearest friend Nina took us there and Javier spent many hours of his time on each day to customize plants for every space in our home. I had previously never known myself to have a green thumb however after getting the perfectly suited plants for their spaces combined with the instructions Javier provided me in a very personable, joyous and thorough manner I am now confident a few truck loads of plants are going to thrive in their new home.
I have ordered several times and each time the customer service agent made a difference whether it was to correct a mistake or to accommodate a request after placing an order. She was fast, diligent and did not wait to have the approval from a supervisor to take initiatives. This is how you keep customers and repeat business. You do 80% of your revenues with 13% of repeating customers. Guess what I can take my business anywhere else. The only reason to repeat business is the service you receive and the quality of the people answering the phon. Yes I recommend Plantshed for that particular reason.
This place is HUGE. No matter what you are looking for, you will absolutely find it in this warehouse- but beyond that these guys are experts at their trade and will help you create a much more visually appealing floral arrangement without upselling you or changing your budget. Very easy for flower enthusiasts and helpful for guys like myself who dont know what were doing.
Seems like the best selection of gardening (with an emphasis on indoor gardening) in Manhattan. There are still some remnants of the flower district where you can get plants, but this location has more in one location, with pots, saucers and other necessities. The prices are competitive also.
Right from start it became a horror story, in forms of rudeness, unprofessionalism and disrespectful. I still kept my calm and allowed the transactions to take place, being that this was a funeral circumstance and no point of getting to that quality level. No!, no!, no! would I recommend to any one there. I wouldnt want any one to go throungh experienced I went through.Let it go....
The absolute WORST customer service that I have ever experience. As an UWS resident, they have some of the most inflated prices in the city. Apparently the posted prices in the store AND online are incorrect. I will never go this place again and would advise you not to as well.
THEY WOULD TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WONT DELIVER.....made a order thru 1800 flowers ....their driver gave the flowers to the door man which he wasnt supposed to do...my flowers were NEVER deliverd because of their careless employees ..DONT TRUST THEM ....👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎they didnt offer to help , they were waiting for 1800flowers to pay them AGAIN, for them to resend the order....DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE....
Avoid this place, its dangerous to even walk by at night and the owner is a real piece of work. After being harassed and physically threatened by the night staff employee, I reported it to the police and filed an official complaint. I went and asked to speak with the owner about the situation the next day, got a manager instead, then the owner stepped in who was incredibly rude, couldnt care less, and threw me out of the store. Buyer and passerby beware ...

2022-07-12What a wonderful shop! Not only do they have dozens of unique plants and plant related items, they also have a great cafe with a plethora of snacks. Theres also an outdoor seating area that is decorated with plants. I was really excited to find a large strand of pearl plant there too and they even threw in a few long stem roses as a bonus gift! I will absolutely be shopping there again!

2022-06-05I’ve used PlantShed over the years and generally they’ve been very good. Today, after a bit of a mix up with a bunch of flowers I ordered for delivery, Emily was kind enough to make everything right. It was a very important client/friend who works in interior design so he’s VERY exacting. In the end, the flowers she sent were simple and gorgeous and just the ticket. PlantShed really is a fantastic place. Just be sure to be very specific with what you want and they won’t disappoint.

2022-04-14My boyfriend gave me a handpicked bouquet for our anniversary with the most beautiful flowers I’ve ever received. They were fresh and with the highest quality, lasting two weeks before they started wilting. I loved each and every flower, the colors, and especially watching the lilies bloom.Big shoutout and commendation to the two ladies who helped (04/01/2022) my boyfriend make the bouquet extra special! He exclaimed how patient you were, all while making this work of art come to life! He also said he was getting stopped on the train, and getting compliments on them. Pictures do not do it justice!

2021-12-31Recently visited PlantShed New York Flowers, lovely and friendly staff. I loved the aesthetic of the shop, and the fact that it doubled as a coffee shop. Very cute items, I’d definitely recommend this spot and will be returning.

2021-11-11I worked with Emily at PlantShed for the florals at my wedding. My bouquet was everything I could have asked for. The boutonnieres were perfect. Everything came right on time and came out beautifully.

2022-02-07In the past, I have had good experiences with Plant Shed, flowers and deliveries. My order last week (Thursday-2/3) was not a good experience.I had selected a cheerful bouquet of yellow and orange tulips online (Tootsie)for an ill friend, however I wanted to discuss the order with a person at Plant Shed.I placed a phone order with Eric, specifically requesting the cheerful orange and yellow colors for the Tootsietulip arrangement. Eric did not confirm that those colors were available. I later found out that white, pink and purple tulips were delivered.I gave my order 2 stars because:1. I was not notified that those colors were not available, in which case I would I have chosen another arrangement of oranges and yellows.2. I called Eric on 2 occasions re: this order and both times he said he would get back to me and never did.

2022-04-19Only reason why I come back is because of Irving! He’s such fresh feel to the shop! Well knowledgeable, passionate and so helpful. He always points me in the right direction when I am in need of something new to spice up my pet friendly home. Even when I am in need for something for a friend or family member. Irving is the best, ask for him for all your plant needs!

2021-08-05I ordered a custom bouquet and Eric set me up with a beautiful arrangement based on just a few instructions given over the phone. Fantastic service and reasonable prices given the quality. This is my fourth order from Plantshed and every one has been excellent with no delivery issues.Note: Photo was taken two days after delivery

2022-05-10What a remarkably terrible experience... I spent over $100 to get a flower delivery for my mother on Mothers Day, and not only did they not deliver the flowers - they did not bother to contact me or inform me of their failure to deliver. Had I not called to inquire what had happened they most likely would have just kept my money! The icing on top of everything was that when I did reach out earlier today, the man I spoke to on the phone made it seem like he would do me a favor by refunding the cost for the undelivered gift.... as if it wouldnt have been fraudulent for them to keep the money! No added incentive or customer recovery coupons or discounts... just ridiculous! In an extremely crowded field of competent florists and flower delivery services, do NOT waste your time or money here!
