I am a great friend of a songwriter. So I have been here a few times with her. Everyone I have come into contact her has been nothing but pleasant. I was grateful that they ( for this particular event) welcomed children. My son had a ball playing with the other children and being able to touch the instruments.Professionally I have no reason to return but as a guest I am always very comfortable and the staff is great !

To begin Id like to make sure people understand that this is a real review. My name is Mark and I was scheduled to record my wife on January 17 at 4 PM. When making an initial appointment I scheduled for 5 PM but got a callback from Lisa (supposedly a manager) asking to come in at 4 PM. The structure of the recording is such that its a three hour minimum and then you can stay as long as you want until the song is edited to your liking. Of course you have to pay by the hour as you go. Now, we did come half hour late but we were under the assumption that we can stay as long as we want (because thats exactly what we were sold, as long as we pay for the additional time). 2 1/2 hours into the session some random people started coming into the recording room. Then Chris, our sound engineer which, was the only bright spot in this whole situation, said that he had to bounce because next recording showed up). When I asked Chris whats going on he said that he has nothing to do with it and we need to speak with Lisa. He got Lisa on the phone and she offered me a discount as long as we leave. To which I said that I dont need a discount I need a finished product. She said that she was going to let the next recording people know that were running behind. At that point it seems like we were going to get our last 30 minutes but no additional time so we have to wrap things up. In another 20 minutes more people started showing up in the studio And there was no privacy at all. Another guy came in and introduced himself as a manager, apologized and said that he has recording scheduled till the morning and we have to go. He didnt care a bit that Lisa said that we can stay as needed as long as we pay. We were kicked out even before the three hour mark.All in all the experience was negative. Very unprofessional service. The whole studio smells like pot and I doubt they have three recordings rooms as they advertise. As I said, the only bright spot was the sound engineer Chris.We will not be coming back even for free!

This place is hands down one of the best places to record at. It has great customer service, friendly staff, and awesome equipment. Ive been recording music for years and Ive traveled and worked in different studios but this is by far the best. These people are great company and have an incredible respect for both creativity and good quality sound. I highly recommend Platinum Sound Studios to anyone!Ask for Cris G, Ive been working with him the past year on my EP. Hes a patient and cool dude and you wont be disappointed with what he does!

This studio is great for our live band and track recordings. Everyone was amazing—from the champagne welcome to the Augspurger sound system. Great experience all the way round.

Extremely unprofessional and rude individuals are staffed here. Unless you’d like to make your day worst, avoid recording here at all costs!

Great recording studio. Beautiful facility. The engineering staff is amazing and this ous a great location. I would highly recommend considering this studio for tracking your next recording. You cant go wrong here.

I scheduled a 3hr session for 2 tracking hip hop only vocals. Ive been in several studios from turtle in philly to the roots to mad oaks in boston. I know 2 track isnt the way to drop songs or demos but i have very well done masters to 2 track songs out of meeks studio the batcave..anyway i was teamed with a decent young man in the solo booth, but the music i left with was sub par, i honeslty felt i could have don better recording myself. I was looking for someone i didnt have to que for effects accents and tweaks. My vocals were finalized in mono i had to dictate all effects including delays decresendos and and they were recorded with a pop overtone like jonas bros meets lil uzi. Maybe its just the one kid good guy but im out a couple hunned with scrapped tunes. I wont be visiting again anytime soon.

Favorite spot ever! If you are lucky enough to get a session with Mr. Wonda, or Serge....all you can expect is Platinum!! 10 stars
